Episode 6: “A Minor Song”
(RECAP: Clips from “Thunderstruck” are shown, including Wolfegang Symphony becoming the new Lethal Tag Team Champions, Miranda Minors retaining her Lethal Angel Championship, and the sudden appearance of Aria Jaxon, whose interference deemed the title match a no contest.)
(COLD OPEN: “Message To God” -- Royal Hunt plays as the crowd cheers for April Song, who comes out from the curtain and sees the sea of LAW fans before making her way down the ramp into the ring.)
Melissa Flash: Here is a woman who failed at capturing the Lethal Specialists Championship at Thunderstruck. A blast from April Song’s past played a factor and costing her this opportunity!
Kat Ricci: AT THUNDERSTRUCK, WE WERE BLESSED BY THE GOAT! THE QUEEN, ARIA JAXON! SHE BLESSED US WITH HER PRESENCE AND MADE THAT MATCH BETTER THAN IT WAS!
(“Message To God” dies down as April Song stands in the center of the ring, thinking about what she is going to say.)
April Song: I should have known that this woman and myself would cross paths again. Aria Jaxon is the reason why I am not standing here as the Lethal Specialists Champion. There is no doubt if she never interfered, I would be standing here champion. I would be holding championship gold again. Yet, Aria ruined that for me. I don’t blame her. I am the part of the reason why her Women’s World Championship reign ended. Me and my allies eliminated Aria Jaxon out of the equation with a sole purpose -- to make sure that no one stood in our way for future opportunities. Aria Jaxon was a woman who held that entire Division back. She was the woman that everyone wanted to knock down the pedestal. She was what I hated. I thought that for the longest time until I realized.
I was becoming another her.
Sure, my accolades aren’t as impressive as hers. I am a former EAW Specialists Champion and Empire Tag Team Champion, but I became her in a sense that there was nothing in this world that was going to knock me down. There was no level of competition that was worthy enough to take my championship away from me. Then it happened. My demise was a lot like hers. I was also powerbombed off the stage. It was in that moment, I knew I had lost everything. My allies. My championship. Most importantly, I lost myself. It took me some time to recover, but I did what I always did, I bounced back. I became one of the more wanted women in the independent scene. I came to LAW with the opportunity to rebuild myself again. Go back to the woman I once was before. What Aria needs to understand that the woman I was then is now the woman I am now. But, Aria is also not the woman she now --
(“Freedom” -- Beyonce and Kendrick Lamar plays as the crowd stands up for the arrival of Aria Jaxon who has a pissed off look on her face.)
Kat Ricci: THE QUEEN OF LAW IS HERE! THE PHANTOM QUEEN! ARIA JAXON IS IN LAW! ALL HAIL!
Melissa Flash: Kat, calm down!
Kat Ricci: :pensive:
(Aria Jaxon grabs a mic before standing on the opposing side, looking at April Song.)
Aria Jaxon: You can’t act like you’re innocent in all of this, April. You are one of the three main people that powerbombed me off that stage five months ago. You are one of the three main people who wanted me out of Empire, so that you and your bird squad could finally get their moment in the spotlight! The tea everyone needs to know was that: April and her so-called “allies” were sent to rid me from that company. They were sent to not only injure me, but make sure that April stood a chance when it came to taking the title off of me at the Grand Rampage. Guess what? You couldn’t manage to get that done! Every fucking thing in your career? You could never get the job done. You were an awful Specialists Champion. You were an even bigger disgrace as Empire Tag Team Champion and just like in typical April fashion, you let it slip from your grasps. Now, you decided to show up to LAW thinking that you can be Lethal Specialists Champion (laughs)? You’re pathetic, April! You may have had a shot and could have won, but you need to realize that you have unfinished business with me--
(“Roots” -- In This Moment plays as Jocelyn Sky walks out with the Lethal Specialists Championship on her shoulder. She stands on the ramp with a mic in her hand.)
Jocelyn Sky: I was going to leave the two of you bickering, but I felt like I needed to speak my mind on a certain matter. At Thunderstruck, I thought April and I were having a fantastic match, but you, Aria, you decided to get yourself involved and ruin it.
Aria Jaxon: Sorry, but shut up, without me, you would have lost your championship.
(The crowd goes “oooh” as Jocelyn chuckles and thinks about what she is going to say next.)
Jocelyn Sky: I beg to differ. Aria, what you don’t realize is that I have a bone to pick with you after how things went at Thunderstruck. You were not going to get away with ruining my match.
Aria Jaxon: Jocelyn, I don’t have an issue with you. You are the adopted daughter of my best friend. I don’t have an issue with you. My issues are with April.
April Song: Aria, calm down, you do not need to escalate this.
Aria Jaxon (looks at April in the face): You can shut up as well. This doesn’t concern Jocelyn, but it does concern you. I’m here to say that we’re going to resume where we left off in the previous company. You ended my title reign, so I’m going to end you.
(Aria Jaxon drops the mic as “Freedom” plays back up again. April Song is staring down Aria as makes her way up the ramp.)
Kat Ricci: Aria Jaxon is out for blood and I love it!
Melissa Flash: It’s safe to say that this won’t be the last exchange for the two of these women.
(Jocelyn Sky and Aria Jaxon exchange a look with one another before Aria walks through the curtain to the backstage.)
(Static appears on the jumbotron before it reveals a brunette woman with a smile on her face in some secluded location.)
?: (talking with the camera man) Is the camera on? Yeah? Good. (focuses on the camera) Winters. Kayla Winters.
Kayla Winters: People know me as the older daughter of Marshall and Claire Winters. It’s great being the daughter of two of the most successful people in the world, but I await for the day I take my place as the heir of Winters Media. I plan to be the woman who runs a successful company as well as being the best talent LAW has to offer.
(Clips of Kayla Winters’ wrestling training is shown.)
Kayla Winters: I was fortunate enough to be trained by the best trainers in the world. When you got money and a vision, you combine the two together and it leads to success. Some of the girls in the back may be rubbed the wrong way due to that. Their impression of me is someone who used money to get to the position she is today, but in the ring, I have proven to be a lot more than that. What you see in the ring? Strength and technicality. You see a woman who has her eyes on the prize and will go through anyone to achieve that. You see a woman who is flawless and knows how to get the job done. I’m better than all the girls here and I’m going to prove it to them. Bye!
(Static appears once again as it pans to ringside.)
Singles Match
Kayla Winters vs Miho Yamazaki
Melissa Flash: Miho Yamazaki may be showing just how tough she really is, but she needs to escape from this hold!
Miho finds a way to wiggle free, forcing Kayla to change tactics. Winters pick up and lands a stiff heatbutt! Yamazaki falls into a seated position. Kayla hits the ropes and goes for a basement dropkick, but Yamazaki was able to avoid it! She manages to get to her feet first and counters with a bridging tiger suplex! Kayla kicks out at two, but finds herself at Miho’s mercy, who goes for a German suplex, but Kayla flips out of it and counters with a massive backbreaker before the joshi could recover! Kayla lifts her up in her arms for a bearhug, but Miho escapes with several elbow smashes to the side of the head! She delivers a Flash Step Kick (superkick) from out of nowhere and goes for another pin! Kayla kicks out at two, much to Miho’s dismay. She picks up Kayla and lifts her up for the YAMAZAKI Powerbomb (elevated sit-out powerbomb). Kayla escapes after a couple of forearm strikes to the face and hits the ropes. Before Miho could react, she gets hit with Special K (spear)! She makes the cover and scores the three count!
Kat Ricci: Phenomenal debut by Kayla Winters! She immediately left the ring and seems to be conversing with several of her cohorts. They raised their fists and are leaving ringside. Something tells me that she has plans for this place.
(The scene transitions to backstage with Lieta Collins on the phone. She looks quite focused to whoever she is calling. Jasmine Peyton walks into the scene as Lieta holds her finger up for Jasmine to give her a second. Jasmine stands there awkwardly until Lieta hangs up and looks at Jasmine.)
Lieta Collins: What, Jasmine?
Jasmine Peyton: Look, I know you’re not happy with the result of the Lethal Tag Team Championship TLC Match at Thunderstruck. But, I didn’t beat Miranda Minors for the LAW Championship, so these “consequences” you had for me if I walked out with a title and you didn’t are invalid.
Lieta Collins: You’re right. The TLC match and this whole run in LAW for me have been eye-opening for me. I expected to walk into LAW and be LAW Champion. I expected to be the best star this company has ever seen. That didn’t happen and I lost to Avery Knight in the first round match of the LAW Championship Tournament. I thought by aligning myself with you, we would end up using each other to get the things that we want. That didn’t happen. Instead, I was met with another loss and my back against the table.
Jasmine Peyton: I fought as long as I could in that match. We just weren’t the better team that night, but if we can build ourselves back up, we can be contenders against Wolfegang Symphony.
Lieta Collins: That doesn’t appeal to me, Jasmine. To be honest, this whole wrestling thing doesn’t appeal to me. MMA was more suited for me. I was on the phone with Cameron Ella Ava and she was willing to let me go of my LAW contract as an active wrestler.
(The crowd is heard reacting in shock as Jasmine Peyton looks at Lieta Collins with shock.)
Jasmine Peyton: Wow, I did not see this coming. I thought we were starting to click as an alliance. Look Lieta, you have helped me so much with getting me adjusted into LAW. I want to offer you a job as my personal bodyguard.
Lieta Collins (thinks): I don’t know Jasmine. I was thinking about going back into MMA --
Jasmine Peyton: I’ll pay you double what they would pay you. I like you, Lieta and I think you can still be use to me. You may think that wrestling wasn’t your thing, but I think you’ll excel in being the muscle that has my back.
Lieta Collins: Sounds appealing. You got yourself a bodyguard, Jasmine.
(Lieta Collins and Jasmine Peyton shake hands to solidify their new deal as the camera fades into another scene.)
(The camera pans to a bedroom. In the room, you can tell belongs to a girl. You can see a bunch of pink around from furniture to the bed itself.Cryptic dollhouse music is heard in the background as the camera slowly travels from the room into the you reach a makeup station. You see a young blonde woman having her hair brushed by an older woman, most likely her mother.)
: Oh, Rosanna! Look at you, so beautiful…
(A mother’s voice is heard until the camera reveals the face of the mother. The mother is Claudia Jain Vendetta a.k.a The Heart Break Gal.)
The Heart Break Gal (has her hands on Rosanna’s shoulders as both mother and daughter look into the mirror): You must get your looks from your mother.
Rosanna: It should be obvious who I am when they look at me. But mother…
(Rosanna turns her stool around to look at their mother with a serious look on her face.)
Rosanna: I don’t want them to be reminded of you or dad when they look at me. I want them to look me in the eyes and see “Sweet” Roxy. “The Mafiosa”, “The Devil Spawn” and most importantly, “The Queen’s Reincarnation”. A woman who was bred for this business. A woman who lives, breathes and bleeds wrestling. There are people in this company that think I got here due to my last name. People think that just because I’m a Vendetta, I get everything handed to me. It’s not like that at all. Everything I have earned was because I’ve proven to all these bitches that I am the best in this industry. I watched you and daddy in the ring, mom. You guys looked so powerful. You two are some of the most accomplished people in wrestling. I want that same feeling for me. I want the power, glory and everything in between. Those women of LAW better watch out because I’m taking over this company.
(Rosanna turns her stool back as she looks in the mirror as she applies some pink blush on her cheeks. The Heart Break Gal looks at her daughter proudly.)
The Heart Break Gal: You are my daughter.
(The video ends as the scene transitions to ringside.)
Singles Match
Sweet Roxy vs Serenity Scorpio
Kat Ricci: Serenity has created some much needed separation between her and Roxy! Let’s see if she can capitalize!
Serenity and Roxy slowly gets to their feet. Roxy tries to mount an offense, but Serenity blocks a forearm attack and counters with a hangman’s facebuster. She makes a smooth transition into a grounded dragon sleeper, causing Roxy to kick about in panic. Scorpio tries to pull her away from the ropes, but Roxy gets a foot on the ropes. Serenity lets go of the submission at the four count and backs away. Roxy slips through the ropes to the apron and hits Serenity with a surprise elbow strike. She leaps and catches Serenity off guard with a sunset flip! Scorpio rolls out of the pin attempt and counters with front dropkick to the face! She picks up her opponent, whips her to the corner, and nails a Serenity Splash (Handspring Stinger Splash). As Roxy falls down, Serenity climbs atop the turnbuckle, eager to hit the Serenity Crush (diving corkscrew stunner). Roxy interrupts the moment with a flying forearm, knocking Scorpio off the top. Roxy tosses her to the center of the ring and hits the The Mafioso Ambush (running spike hurricanrana) so secure the victory!
Melissa Flash: Say what you want about her choice of tactics from time to time, but Sweet Roxy is your winner! What a showing by the second generation talent!
(The scene fades into backstage where Maria Cuesta is standing in front of the camera with a smile on her face.)
Maria Cuesta: Ladies and gentleman, Thunderstruck was one of the special events that was most talked about. We witnessed the debut of Aria Jaxon during the Lethal Specialists Championship Match, we saw Miranda Minors and go 5-0 in LAW by defeating Jasmine Peyton for the LAW Championship, but one of the matches people cannot stop talking about was the Tables, Ladders and Chairs match for the Lethal Tag Team Championships that consisted of The Knight Dynasty, the champions taking on the challengers, Lieta Collins and Jasmine Peyton and Wolfegang Symphony! Right now, let me introduce you to the women that managed to make a strong impression in this match and win the Lethal Tag Team Championships in their first match! Ladies and gentleman, Wolfegang Symphony!
(The crowd is heard booing as Wolfegang Symphony - Vivina Wolfe and Bethany Sharpe enter the scene with the Lethal Tag Team Championships on their shoulders. Vivina and Bethany are looking at their reflections on each other’s championships before looking at Maria Cuesta.)
Maria Cuesta: Bethany Sharpe, Vivina Wolfe, the two of you defeated two other teams to capture those championships. What are your thoughts on everything that has transpired for the two of you?
Bethany Sharpe: It’s been such an emotional rollercoaster. Never did we think that we would be the faces of the Tag Team Division. We came into this match with no confidence whatsoever. :pensive:
Maria Cuesta: Seriously?
Vivina Wolfe and Bethany Sharpe: NO!
Vivina Wolfe: Maria, you’re so silly! Bethany and I came into this match knowing that we were better than those two other teams. Within a match, Wolfegang Symphony have proven to be the best tag team in LAW! I mean, we are so good, Lieta Collins decided to retire from wrestling and stay in the shadows as Jasmine Peyton’s bodyguard. We made that “Queen of the Combat Sports” look like a little bitch. And, where is The Knight Dynasty?
(Vivina Wolfe looks to her left and right as Bethany Sharpe gasps.)
Bethany Sharpe (points to a random direction): THERE THEY ARE!
(The camera goes to the direction Bethany Sharpe was point at, but there is no one in sight.)
Bethany Sharpe: Just kidding. They’re not in the building tonight.
Maria Cuesta: With Caged around the corner, what do you have to say to the next challengers for your titles?
Bethany Sharpe: Vivina and I are ready for ANY team that steps up to the plate and challenges us, but by looking at the competition, there is none. I’ll prove it tonight when I beat Rina Sakaraba and send her back to Japan.
Vivina Wolfe: I hope Yuki doesn’t mind life without a sister again.
Bethany Sharpe: Oop.
(The two women laugh with each other as they leave the camera shot and it transitions to the ring.)
(A woman sits down in the confessional room as she looks on the camera with a deep breathe before forming a smile on her face.)
: Wow, what a strange few days it’s been. I don’t know where to begin, but I guess, I can introduce myself. Hello, my name is Rina Sakaraba and I’m from Miyagi, Japan!
(A video of Miyagi, Japan is shown with the sceneries and Rina walking the streets of it.)
Rina Sakaraba: The fans of LAW are familiar with my sister, Yuki…
(Pictures are shown of The Sakaraba Sisters and their recent reunion.)
Rina Sakaraba: I think she is amazing in the ring. She is one of the most talented wrestlers not only in Japan, but in the whole world. I can only wish to be as good as she is. As a child, I had two passions: wrestling and...rock and metal.
(Rina Sakaraba gives a small laugh before holding the devil horns with her fingers and banging her head before laughing again.)
Rina Sakaraba: My childhood was very boring. I had a mother and father who loved me and I survived it. But, it wasn’t until a few days ago that things really started to pick up. It wasn’t until a few days ago that I figured out that Yuki was my sister. I thought it was amazing to have a sister that’s in LAW because it gives me the perfect opportunity to bond with Yuki while kicking ass in the ring. The competition in LAW is competitive and I like it. I cannot wait to get in the ring with each and everyone of them and show them that I am more than Yuki’s sister and I can be a champion.
(The scene ends as the camera pans to ringside.)
Singles Match
Rina Sakaraba w/ Yuki Sakaraba vs Bethany Sharpe w/ Vivana Wolfe
The match starts out with Rina testing the distance between them with several kicks. Bethany wisely stays out of her range and yells at her to back off. Rina answers back with a surprise shotgun dropkick, knocking Bethany into a corner. Rina lights her up like a Christmas tree with a series of strikes. Vivana Wolfe jumps on the apron, prompting a successful distraction, allowing for Bethany to escape from the corner. Yuki storms over to Vivana who jumps down from the apron and backs away with her hands up. Meanwhile Bethany sneaks behind Rina and catches her with an Opening Number (back suplex spun into a sit-out powerbomb). She stays in position for the pin, but Rina kicks out at one. Bethany wastes no time whipping her to the ropes. Rina grabs on to the ropes to avoid the rebound attack, but gets knocked out of the ring by a sudden front dropkick! As Yuki runs over to her sister, Wolfegang Symphony give each other a high-five through the ropes.
Melissa Flash: Bethany seems to have an answer for everything Rina is trying to throw at her! Yuki helps her sister up and is attempting to get her back into this match!
Rina slides back into the ring and catches Bethany’s leg from an attempted spin kick. She pulls her in for a leg catch variation of a belly-to-belly suplex, which transitions into a Boston Crab. Bethany screams wildly as Sakaraba has the hold in tight, making sure her opponent can’t escape. After a bit of struggle, Bethany crawls closer to the ropes and is pulled to the edge by her partner-in-crime Vivana. Yuki surprises Wolfe with a superkick out of nowhere, to keep the one-half of the tag champs from interfering. Bethany gets to her feet and hits Yuki with a wrecking ball kick through the ropes. She holds on, and pulls herself back through the ropes. She ducks from a wild swing from Rina and goes for the Counterpoint (standing shiranui). As soon as Bethany’s feet leaves the mat, Rina counters with a, Enter the Dragon (bridging dragon suplex)! Unfortunately for Bethany, she wasn’t able to kick out in time, giving Rina Sakaraba the victory!
Kat Ricci: What an awesome debut by Rina Sakaraba! Her sister is coming into the ring to celebrate with her! It looks like there may be some new competition in town!
(The scene fades into montage with a young woman wrestling with various opponents. Each time, she is standing in the middle of the ring with her arm raised in victory.)
Background Voice: I am Hayley Valentine and I’m from Wrexham, Wales, United Kingdom.
(Scenes from Hayley Valentine’s wrestling training. Her trainer, Faye Wakefield is seen instructing her when it comes to her wrestling. Then, it pans to Faye standing in front of the camera to hear her thoughts.)
Faye Wakefield: Hayley came into the Diamond Ring Promotion and she excelled from the first day she entered that ring. She grew on a constant basis and it is not something that you would expect from this 5’2” woman. If you were facing her, you wouldn’t think that she would be terrifying, but weren’t those opponents surprised when she came into her matches and threw everything at you.
(Scenes of Hayley Valentine’s first matches at Diamond Ring with her getting submission victories over various opponents and establishing her dominance.)
Faye Wakefield: She was getting submission victories left and right. She was undefeated for a period of time, until I had something to do about it (laughs). But, she impressed me and she continues to impress me. LAW has a star in Hayley Valentine and the women have their biggest threat to date.
(Scenes of Hayley Valentine’s submission victories and run at Diamond Ring are shown for the last time before the scene ends with Hayley with her hand raised. The camera cuts and pans to ringside.)
Singles Match
Hayley Valentine vs Heather Graves
From the moment the bell rings, the match sets off like a powder keg! Hayley and Heather are trading forearm strikes, dishing as much as they’re taking. Hayley gets the better end of the exchange, unleashing a series of knife edge chops upon Heather’s chest. Her attacks back her opponent into a corner where she switches to a headbutt! Graves is rocked by the attack and is whipped to the opposite corner. Valentine charges full speed ahead, but Heather dodges the running big boot! Harley crashes against the turnbuckles with her leg caught over the top! Heather takes the opportunity to pull her out and nail her with a back suplex! Heather maintains the waistlock and pulls a deadlift German suplex (Grave Robbin). She climbs to the middle rope, and pulls a Blockbuster followed by a cover! Hayley kicks out at one! Heather’s frustrated, but decided to slow things down with a grounded side headlock.
Kat Ricci: Looks like things are in Heather’s favor. If I was her, I would take my time. Hayley is known to be a fierce competitor.
While Heather tries to establish a strong ground game, Hayley fights back by lifting her up and countering with a judo toss! Heather rolls to her feet and attempts a lariat that Hayley ducks and counters with Black Valentine (Feint shining wizard transitioned into a reverse roundhouse). It’s lights out for Heather as Hayley goes for a pin. Heather kicks out at two, leaving Hayley as frustrated as her opponent was earlier. She picks up Heather and applies an octopus stretch! She positions herself to tighten the hold, but Graves is fighting back to prevent an easy submission victory. Before Hayley can adjust, Heather counters with and exploder suplex into the corner! Valentine is slammed against the turnbuckles and is slumped upside down. Hayley runs to the opposite end and charges forward to deliver the cannonball, but Valentine pulls herself up to avoid the collision. Heather’s face crashes against the third turnbuckle, which hayley takes advantage of by jumping down and delivering a Brain Damage DDT (Cradle hammerlock legsweep DDT)! Without wasting anymore time, she secures the submission victory with a Modified Kata Gatame (Arm-trap triangle choke).
Melissa Flash: What an amazing performance from Hayley Valentine! I never seen anyone make Heather Graves tap before! This is someone to look out for in the near future!
(“Children of the Son” -- Pop Choir plays as the crowd reacts in boos instantly. The boos get bigger the moment Miranda Minors steps from the curtain and on top of the ramp with a huge grin on her face. The LAW Championship is on her shoulder as she raises it up in the air before walking down the ramp.)
Melissa Flash: 5-0. Five victories for the LAW Champion, Miranda Minors. People weren’t expecting her to walk away with the championship at Thunderstruck. People thought that Jasmine Peyton would dethrone the cocky champion and knock her down a few steps.
Kat Ricci: I would have loved to see Jasmine Peyton do that, but Miranda Minors proved that Jasmine was nothing of concern. Miranda has blown her competition away.
(Miranda Minors is seen in the middle of the ring as she raises the championship up in the air as she trash talks to the fans. This happens for a moment more before “Children of the Son” fades with Miranda standing with a microphone in her hands.)
Miranda Minors: 5-0 BABY!!
(The crowd begins to boo as Miranda laughs at the satisfaction of the fans.)
Miranda Minors: You all were praying for my downfall at Thunderstruck. You people were going to settle with seeing Jasmine Peyton as LAW Champion? Little Miss America tried her hardest to take this championship off my shoulder, but she soon realized that this was no beauty pageant. It did not matter how beautiful she looked posing on top of that ramp. It did not matter how well she walked down that ramp. What mattered was how she performed in this very ring. She was sooooo well-educated. If she was that, how am I still holding this championship (raises the title up in the air)? Huh? It’s only because I’m the best. It’s because I am the best LAW Champion of the modern era! All these previous LAW Champions? Irrelevant. They don’t matter because I make the LAW Championship matter. I am unbeatable. No one can lace up my ring boots. There is no woman in the back that can step into the ring against me. There’s these wrestlers that love calling themselves “G.O.A.T” and most rightfully do so, but it’s about time that I claim G.O.A.T status! Miranda Minors is G.O.A.T. She is the Greatest of All Time and there is no a damn person that can say otherwise --
(“Cherry Bomb” -- The Runaways plays as the crowd stands up as Madam Vega walks from the curtain and steps on top of the ramp. Miranda Minors looks surprised to see her as Madam Vega waves to the crowd with a huge smile on her face.)
Kat Ricci: How dare this old hag interrupt this wonderful achievement? Miranda was claiming her G.O.A.T status!
Madam Vega: G.O.A.T status? Really, Miranda? I think it takes more than one successful title defense to call yourself G.O.A.T. You may have been able to defeat Jasmine Peyton at Thunderstruck, but things are only going to get harder from here. We move on from Thunderstruck into our next event, Caged. This next challenger for your championship has a bone to pick with you. She is someone who has been waiting to get her title shot against you.
Miranda Minors: I’m intrigued.
Madam Vega: After her well-fought victory at Thunderstruck, I thought it was about damn time that she gets rewarded for putting the women on LAW on notice. At Caged, Miranda Minors will be defending her LAW Championship against...Daisy Thrash!
(The crowd explodes in cheers as Miranda Minors is seen laughing.)
Miranda Minors: DAISY THRASH? I’ve defeated her twice already! Do you really want her to be embarrassed when I manage to defeat her for a third time? Why are you doing her so dirty, Madam Vega? I’ll play your game though. It’s going to be fun to defeat Daisy for a third time. You played yourself, Madam Vega. You thought I’d be worried about this match, but at Caged, I am going to show you and everyone why I am the G.O.A.T. BAH, BAH, BITCH!
(Miranda Minors drops her mic as she raises her championship high in the air as “Children of the Son” plays back up again. Madam Vega is standing on top of the ramp, looking at Miranda, shaking her head as she makes her way to the back.)
Melissa Flash: MADAM VEGA WITH AN ANNOUNCEMENT AS THE MAIN EVENT OF CAGED IS ANNOUNCED. MIRANDA MINORS WILL BE TAKING ON DAISY THRASH!
Kat Ricci: Miranda Minors gonna whip the floor with Daisy once again and I cannot wait!
Main Event: Champion vs Champion
Miranda Minors vs Jocelyn Sky
The match starts out with Miranda and Jocelyn initiating a tie-up. After a chain wrestling sequence, Miranda catches Jocelyn off guard with a snap suplex. She continues the assault with several foot stomps to the face, forcing Jocelyn to roll out to the apron. Miranda tries to grab her, but get caught in the face with a high kick and falls victim to Sky’s Go to Heaven (springboard forearm smash)! Sensing a chance for victory, Jocelyn climbs the top rope to end things with the Skyward Sword (diving double stomp), but Miranda rolls out of the ring to get some breathing room. Jocelyn’s not having any of that as she drops down to the apron and hits her with a running penalty kick to the face! She hops down to continue the assault, but in an act of desperation, Miranda slams her against the apron only to fall back down from exhaustion. The ref begins his count as both women are laying down on the ringside floor.
Melissa Flash: Unless if they're both satisfied with getting the countout victory, Miranda and Jocelyn need to get back in this!
Both women are struggle to roll back into the ring to avoid a countout decision. Miranda’s up first as she picks up Jocelyn and starts firing off a series of nasty knees to the face. She ends things with a straight-jacket neckbreaker! She’s not finished as she applies an armbar, pulling back on the arm of Jocelyn Sky. The ref checks on the Lethal Specialist while she’s screaming in agony. Jocelyn rolls through the hold and get to her feet. A well-placed roundhouse kick creates some much needed separation between her and Miranda. While Jocelyn leans against the ropes to gather her bearings, Miranda takes a knee to recover. She dodges the surprise penalty kick from Jocelyn and grabs her opponent’s tights, pulling her into a roll-up! Jocelyn struggles to kick out, but does so in the last second. Sky gets to her feet and yells at the ref about Miranda grabbing onto her tights. Meanwhile Miranda ducks under the ref and tries to grab Jocelyn, but is pushed away. Minors is about to stumble backwards into the ref, but pushes him in Jocelyn’s direction. Once Jocelyn moves him to the side, she gets caught with a Spellbound (swinging neckbreaker). This is followed by a Miranda Rights (Swinging Leg Hook Fireman’s Carry Slam) to secure the victory!
Kat Ricci: Oh come on! This was supposed to be a classic match! Instead, Miranda took the easy!
Melissa Flash: Daisy Thrash is coming out! She’s pointing as Miranda while making a belt gesture! Her head seems to in the game! I’m looking forward to seeing these two go at it.
(The camera focuses on Daisy as she stares at a triumphant Miranda Minors holding the Lethal Angel Championship for all to see. The camera fades as the LAW and IJWF logos appear on screen.)
