Miranda Minors is seen heartbroken and baffled from the loss and the last shot is with Daisy raising the title while standing on the turnbuckle as a “You Deserve It” chant ends the recap.)
(“I Am The Fire” -- Halestorm plays during the Monday Night LAW intro. After, it goes to a SOLD OUT LAW Arena in Boyle Heights, California! The camera gets a great show of the crowd cheering and having posters of their favorite LAW talents.)
Melissa Flash: With Caged out of the way, we are on the road to Sin City as I welcome you to Monday Night LAW! I am Melissa Flash and this is my lovely partner, Kat Ricci and don’t we have a great show tonight?
Kat Ricci: Yes, Melissa! We are hot from Caged as we crowned TWO new champions in Santana Matthews and Daisy Thrash!
Melissa Flash: Speaking of Daisy Thrash, she will be hosting a little celebration for her victory aged Caged later tonight!
Kat Ricci: That is not it, but we have April Song vs. Heather Graves for our main event tonight! Our new Lethal Specialists Champion, Santana Matthews will be ringside!
Melissa Flash: That is not it, Kat, but we are going to hear from Miranda Minors --
(“Children of the Son” -- Pipe Choir plays to a crowd of boos as Miranda Minors walks out to the LAW Arena for the first time since her loss at Caged. Miranda is seen without the LAW Championship on her waist as she has a serious look on her face. She walks down the ramp as the fans are booing at her, but she ignores it before getting inside of the ring. She demands for a mic as Natasha Night hands Miranda her mic.)
Melissa Flash: Speak of the devil…
Miranda Minors: CUT MY MUSIC!
(The crowd continues to boo as “Children of the Son” dies down. All that can be heard is the sound of the crowd booing before Miranda speaks.)
Miranda Minors: As you all can see, I am no longer the LAW Champion --
(The crowd cheers loudly as Miranda gives the crowd a moment to get the cheering out of their system.)
Miranda Minors: Are you done yet? At Caged, Daisy Thrash broke my beautiful winning streak. She not only did that, but she took my LAW Championship away from me. A woman who couldn’t defeat me two other times, managed to pick up the victory in a Steel Cage Match; this was a match that was supposed to be in my advantage. I had all of the luck in the palm of my hands and I couldn’t get the job done. When Daisy pinned my shoulder’s to the mat after she connected with that Into the Sunset from the top rope, I could not believe it. There was a ton of emotions flooding from me. I was angry. I was upset. I was heartbroken. I was caught off guard by that loss. My entire world felt like it was shattered in front of me. The two things that kept me whole in LAW were stripped away from me. My winning streak and the LAW Championship were what made me above the competition. I carried that championship with prestige and honor. I gave women like Daisy the fire underneath her ass to want to rise above me. There will be no denying the fact that I was the first LAW Champion of the modern era. I made all those champions before me seem like children in comparison to me. It’s like “who the hell are they? I only know of Miranda Minors!” Daisy Thrash managed to get the biggest victory of her career. She managed to do the unthinkable. Now, I will manage to do the realistic and reclaim my LAW Championship. That is right; I am invoking my rematch clause to reclaim what should be by my side --
(“Cherry Bomb” -- The Runaways plays as the crowd stands up for Madam Vega who comes out. Madam Vega is seen waving to the crowd with a mic on her hands before standing in the center of the ramp as “Cherry Bomb” dies down.)
Madam Vega: Miranda, I don’t blame you for being the way that you are, but I hate to break the news to you, girlie -- Daisy was the better woman at Caged. Sometimes, we have off nights. We have nights where things just fall apart, but it’s how we pick ourselves up and walk forward that determines who will make it in the business and who will melt underneath the pressure. Miranda, you’re angry. You are heartbroken and upset. You want to fix this mistake as soon as possible. I admire that about you. Having a rematch clause is in some wrestling contracts and if the loss was unjust, I would give you the rematch, but I don’t think the loss was unjust. You lost fair and square. You lost to Daisy and for that, rematch request declined.
Miranda Minors: Madam Vega, I don’t think that you or any of the LAW fans here know this but, Cameron Ella Ava, one of the investors of LAW, picked me as the woman to take this company to new heights. She picked me as the face of this promotion and I don’t think she’d be happy about you not giving me this rematch --
Madam Vega: -- I was not done, sweetheart. Let me finish. I’m not going to give you a rematch and that’s fine. Go to Cameron, go to Stephanie Matsuda. Take this issue to the IJWF if you like too, but you’re not getting this rematch.
But, I can make you earn your championship opportunity. Sin City is around the corner and I already know Daisy’s next opponent for Sin City, but I can announce that you are the first participant in the Joker’s Wild Match. A Joker’s Wild Match involves four women, but it’s not going to be some typical fatal-four-way match. Nope, we are going to be having a wheel with random matches. I am going to spin it and whatever match it lands on is going to be that match stipulation. You won’t know the stipulation until moments before the match begins. However, the prize is a future championship opportunity at whatever event you please. You win the match, Miranda and you get to decide the time and place for that rematch.
Miranda Minors: I like surprises, Madam Vega. I’ll play your game and whoever walks out LAW Champion at Sin City, they’re going to meet with me next because I’m going to cash in that opportunity as soon as possible.
(Miranda Minors smacks the mic to the ground as “Children of the Son” plays back up. Madam Vega stands on the ramp with her arms folded as Miranda looks around with determination in her eyes.)
Kat Ricci: We see Miranda Minors intentions if she wins the Joker’s Wild Match. She is going to cash in the opportunity as soon as possible!
Melissa Flash: As for who will challenge Daisy Thrash at Sin City, that will be announced later tonight!
Singles Match
Amedea Rao vs. Llorona
In order to start off the night, Amedea Rao and Llorona were really aggressive with each other to begin the match, but Llorona was able to shift the match into her favor with a double knee backbreaker. Llorona was able to keep the offense going, but the moment Amedea saw the opening, she manages to connect with some repeated shoot kicks. Amedea is showing some ruthlessness as she manages to give Llorona a taste of her own medicine. Eventually, Amedea was able to get the victory after making Llorona fade away to Rao’s Way (Kimura Lock).
Kat Ricci: She was able to make Llorona pass out! This is someone who I would not like to make mad!
Melissa Flash: This is one woman you need to keep an eye at.
Natasha Night: Please Welcome, your Lethal Tag Team Champions, Wolfegang Symphony!
("Roundtable Rival" by Lindsey Stirling plays as Bethany Sharpe and Vivana Wolfe - Wolfegang Symphony - walks out with their Lethal Tag Team Championships over their shoulders. They recieve a mixed reaction from the fans.)
Melissa Flash: Another win for LAW’s most dominant tag team! Who would’ve thought that these two who came from out of nowhere would be holding tag gold?
Kat Ricci: I have to admit - they may not be liked by everyone, but they showed and proved that they’re here to stay. Let’s see what they have to say.
(Bethany and Viviana climb into the ring and take two mics from ringside. They shoo away Natasha, much to her annoyance.)
Bethany Sharpe: That’s enough Natty dear, the true voices of LAW can take over from here.
Vivana Wolfe: (looks at the crowd) My, my, some people are not happy with us walking out of Chicago as champs!
Bethany Sharpe: Well they better get used to it. Because from now on, this will be a recurrence!
Vivana Wolfe: You know Bethany, Sin City isn’t that far off and we’ll need opponents for the occasion.
Bethany Sharpe: You’re right my dear. But, I think we’ve beaten every team out there in LAW. I can’t think of anyone that’s left that we haven’t beaten yet! They’re going to have to make these bitches work together at this point!
(“Money” by Pink Floyd plays as Kayla Winters and Sweet Roxy walk out.)
Kayla Winters: Maybe perhaps we can make you an offer you can’t refuse.
(Bethany and Vivana look at each other for a moment and then at their opponents and laugh.)
Bethany Sharpe: Really? The two of you? Two little rich twits who can’t even get along with each other? How are you going to beat us when you can’t even get along with each other?
Sweet Roxy: Let’s just say Kayla and I have...come to an agreement.
Kayla Winters: The enemy of my enemy...is a potential ally.
Sweet Roxy: Which was enough for us to put our differences aside and focus on the real task at hand.
Kayla Winters: Which is taking the titles off your lovely hands. Sounds like the perfect business relationship to me - two entities with a common goal in mind.
(Wolfegang Symphony look at each other and grin. Vivana turns back to Kayla and Roxy with a smile.)
Vivana Wolfe: Okay, we’ll bite. You can try your hand at taking on the most dominant team in the world. And we’ll try not to embarrass the two of you too much.
Bethany Sharpe: Let’s not lie to them Vivi. We’re going to wipe the floor with them.
Kayla Winters: We’ll see about that. Now if you excuse us, Roxy has a match.
(“Roundtable Rival” plays last Wolfegang Symphony leaves the ring and walks past their new opponents with grins on their faces.)
Melissa Flash: It looks like Wolfegang Symphony has found their next opponents!
Kat Ricci: This is something the LAW fans will be looking forward too. Sin City couldn’t come sooner!
Singles Match
Sweet Roxy vs. Serenity Scorpio
Knowing that Wolfegang Symphony will be watching, Sweet Roxy knew that she needed to elevate her game in this match. Sweet Roxy tells for Kayla to stand on top of the ramp and to not move a muscle. Kayla Winters does that as she just looks at Roxy wrestling. Sweet Roxy did a good job with dominating the first part of the match. Sweet Roxy manages to get Serenity Scorpio into a corner before connecting with a flying forearm, but Serenity manages to move out of the way. We see some impressive moves from Serenity like the Serenity Splash (Handspring Stinger Splash), but that is not enough to get Sweet Roxy down for the three count. Eventually, Roxy is able to get victory over Serenity thanks to the The Mafiosa Ambush (Running Spike Hurricanrana). Kayla Winters smiling and nodding her head in approval she joins Sweet Roxy in the ring and raises her hand in victory! Sweet Roxy seems something strange about that, but goes along with it. The two women gesture for the Lethal Tag Team Championships on their waist.
Melissa Flash: If these two can remain on the same page, we could be seeing new Lethal Tag Team Champions!
Yuki and Rina are backstage in their locker room, they can be heard talking about something, but the cameras pick up their most recent conversation.
Yuki: "(I'm so sorry about last week Rina-chan! One minute I was in the cage and the next I was out. They used dirty tactics to keep us apart and to beat us!)"
Rina: "(It's ok Yuki, I should be the one to apologize. I mean I couldn't even beat two little rats by myself! What kind of pro wrestler am I?! what kind of si-)"[/color
Yuki: "(No it's ok. We lost the match in our second tag team match ever. Our second match ever we got a title opportunity. Think about what that says about us and what that says about them. Those little cowards couldn't even beat us fair! They had to beat you to a pulp and keep me outside the ring to even have a chance at beating us.)"
Rina: "(Yeah... that's true...)"
Yuki: "(Besides we'll always get another chance Rina, so cheer up, ok? Lets get out there and bounce back! Because next time we face those two, we'll destroy them!)"
Rina: "(Yeah!)"
The two get excited and pumped up as we cut to a commercial break.
Singles Match
Yuki Sakaraba vs. Tiffany Santana
With Yuki Sakaraba trying to bounce back from their loss at Caged, she thought a victory over Tiffany Santana would do the trick. Tiffany would begin the match with trash talking to Yuki. The main thing that set Yuki off happened to be saying that Rina Sakaraba is the reason for her and Yuki’s loss at Caged. This makes Yuki snap as connects with a series of punches that make Tiffany back into the corner! Yuki manages to make a great showing, but Tiffany catches her by surprise with a sliding double leg takedown! From that moment, Tiffany manages to get the upperhand in this match. We see Tiffany connect with a series of submission holds such as the crossface chickenwing to a bow and arrow stretch, but Yuki’s fighting spirit was enough to keep her alive. Yuki ends up getting the victory after connecting with a "Cosmic Explosion" (Ranhei).
Melissa Flash: Yuki Sakaraba bounces back from her loss at Caged! I hope Rina is watching her proudly backstage.
With Yuki celebrating in the ring, it goes to Rina Sakaraba in the back, who had just watched her sister, Yuki get the win. Rina is thinking about the conversation with Yuki and it can be seen that the loss at Caged still bothers her.
(Commercial break.)
(LAW returns from commercial.)
(“Message To God” -- Royal Hunts plays as the crowd stands up for April Song who poses for the crowd before making her way down to the ring. She asks for Natasha Night for a mic, who hands hers to April. April stands in the center of the ring absorbing the reaction of the crowd before “Message To God” dies down.)
April Song: Aria Jaxon and I took each other to the limit at Caged. I am not going to deny that this wasn’t a match I had been waiting since forever to happen. I just never expected it to happen in LAW. I thought after everything that occured in the last several months that April Song vs. Aria Jaxon in a Final Submission Match was never going to happen, so to see Madam Vega bring this idea back from the grave was a surreal feeling to me. I was not only to prove to the world that I would have won back in March just like I captured the victory in September. Aria Jaxon is an amazing wrestler and who knows when it will be the next time she’ll be seen in LAW, but I can’t spend the rest of my time wondering when that will happen. I can only hope to move on and set my sights on the Lethal Specialists Championship. As a former EAW Specialists Champion, it was the one championship which propelled my career to the next level. I hope that the Lethal Specialists Championship will have the same effect when I defeat Santana Matthews and leave Sin City with the title.
(“California Love” --Tupac feat. Dr. Dre plays as the crowd cheers as Santana Matthews walks out for the first time since Caged. The Lethal Specialists Championship is on her waist as she looks around the sea of LAW fans tonight. Santana has a mic in her possession as she makes her way to the ring. It is there that she gets a good look of her next challenger. “California Love” dies down, but the reaction of the fans have not. Santana waits for a moment to talk.)
Santana Matthews: I know that you have a match next, so I will make sure not to waste any of your time, but I’m glad that you got that business with Aria Jaxon out of the way. Why? You must ask. Well, when I defeat you in the middle of that ring, I want it to be with a free mind. I want to defeat you knowing that there is no chip on your shoulder. I want to defeat you know that I am the better woman and I truly deserve to hold this Lethal Specialists Championship. April, I admit. You were a good Specialists Championship when you once held a championship similar to the one I have on my shoulder, but I think these people are sick of having women play hot potato with this championship. I think it’s time that I give the people a Lethal Specialists Champion that they deserve.
April Song: The champion they deserve is me. I know, that you must be quite intimidated of the fact that I am not going to be another Jocelyn Sky or McKenzie Hoyte. If I see something I want, I am going to get it. It doesn’t matter if you’re a nice person, but you have something that I want, Santana. I have my sights on the Lethal Specialists Championship and at Sin City, I am going to make sure that title leaves with me.
Santana Matthews: I’m not intimidated of you, April. You’re probably still crazy if you think that I am going to lose this championship so soon. Women like McKenzie and Jocelyn, they got too comfortable with being champion. That is not going to happen with me. They were great champions in their own right, but I plan to learn from their mistakes.
April Song: I feel like you’re making the same mistakes as the Lethal Specialists Champions before, but they never faced me for the title. I invite you to watch me take care of Heather Graves. Watch how a real pro takes care of business.
Santana Matthews: Don’t worry, I was going to do that anyway. I love watching my competition up close.
April Song: This is going to be interesting.
(“Message To God” plays back up again as April Song and Santana Matthews look and exchange words with each other before Santana leaves the ring and joins Kat Ricci and Melissa Flash in commentary.)
Singles Match
April Song vs. Heather Graves w/ Santana Matthews on commentary
For the main event of this episode of LAW, we have April Song take on Heather Graves. Santana Matthews is on commentary observing the match. Right off the bat, Heather is making an impact in this match! She is throwing a series of punches April’s way as April tires to block all of them. Heather picks up April and connects with an exploder suplex, but that is not enough to keep her down. Heather is doing powerful moves such as: Grave Encounter (Snap Headbutt) and Grave Robbing (Deadlift German Suplex), but April manages to come back from all of that. Eventually, April takes advantage of an opening from Heather. April connects with a bunch of punches and knee strikes, but Heather is welcoming to all of that. April tries to go for a triangle choke, but Heather is able to pick up April and connect with a sidewalk slam, but April manages to kick out of that. Eventually, April makes Heather tap out to Killer Clutch (Peruvian necktie)! As April is getting her arm raised, she looks at Santana Matthews with a look of “that’s what you need to expect at Sin City”.
Kat Ricci: April Song is hungry to take that championship off of you, Santana.
Santana Matthews: And, I’m hungry to keep it. Looks like that’s going to be a problem.
(Commercial break.)
(LAW returns from commercial with Natasha Night standing in the ring with a smile on her face.)
Natasha Night: Please welcome, your NEW Lethal Angel Champion...DAISY THRASH!
(“Quickdraw” by Gangstagrass plays as Daisy Thrash walks out to a standing ovation with her title over her shoulder. She smiles at her adoring fans as she goes from one end of the aisle to the other, high-fiving the audience. She slides into the ring and runs to the nearest corner where she holds up the Lethal Angel Championship for everyone to see. She jumps down from the second turnbuckle and walks over to Natasha to grab the mic.)
Daisy Thrash: Thank you Natasha. WHAT’S HAPPENING, EVERYBODY!?
(The fans cheer, excited about what the champion has to say.)
Daisy Thrash: man, oh man I’m feeling like I’m top of the world right now! It took longer than expected, but FINALLY, my hard work has paid off!
(Fans start to shout “You deserve it!” repeatedly, forcing Daisy to blush a little)
Daisy Thrash: There was a moment in the match where I thought I would lose yet again - after all, some of you may know I lost a title match across town the night before. I was double-booked and all the odds were against me, but I persevered! And it’s all thanks to each and every one of you!
(Fans start to shout “Yes!” over and over as the champion assumes control of the atmosphere.)
Daisy Thrash: I’m living proof that good things come out of hard work; this connection we have is living proof that when hearts align, dreams come true! I’m absolutely ecstatic and quite humbled to take on the role of LAW’s world champion! Wait - is the Lethal Angel Championship a world championship? It was never clarified to me. Things that make you go ‘hmm’...
(The fans laugh as Daisy rubs her chin, deep in thought.)
Daisy Thrash: But alas, no matter what, The Sheriff is BACK in town! And my first order of business is to find an opponent for LAW’s upcoming show, Sin City in the place that started it all, Sam’s Town Casino!
(Daisy pauses for a moment as she lets the fans cheer.)
Daisy Thrash: One thing you’ll learn quickly about The Sheriff is that she’s a fighting champion! So lay it on me Boss Vega - who’s it gonna be!?
(A moment later, “Cherry Bomb” by the Runaways play as Madam Vega walks out.)
Madam Vega: Daisy, it’s good to see The Sheriff herself as the face of LAW. And it’s even better to know that you’re a fighting champion. Because Daisy, I have the perfect opponent in mind for you. She’s been on a roll since her arrival here on LAW, and she’s not only deserving of a title shot...but she’s hungry for one as well. Daisy Thrash...meet your opponent.
(“Lifted” by CL plays as Hikaru Suzuki walks out with a look of determination on her face. The fans are on their feet as the possible match-up between two fan favorites are now a reality.)
Melissa Flash: Oh man! Hikaru Suzuki vs Daisy Thrash! This will be a match for the ages! What a start to a potential legendary reign!
Kat Ricci: I have to say, Melissa, I’m just as hyped as you are! And with a special announcement next week, we’ll see what Madam Vega has in store for these two competitors at Sin City!
(The camera linger on a back shot of Hikaru staring at the ring with Daisy Thrash in the distance, raising her title in defiance as the camera fades)
(LAW and IJWF logos appear on screen)
