It goes to the LAW Championship Match with Daisy Thrash and Mitra Marvel. The amazing performance of the two women, but Daisy connecting with Into the Sunset and retaining the championship. The last shot is of Daisy raising the title up in the air.)
(The scene fades into the ring as “Cherrybomb” by the Runaways is playing in the background. In the center of the ring, Madam Vega stands with a microphone in her hand. In her possession, there is an item, but it is covered by a velvet colored cloth. Vega has a somber look on her face. Her music fades before she speaks.)
Madam Vega: When LAW relaunched back in May, I was so optimistic about the future of this promotion. I was optimistic about the crop of talent that would come from LAW. However, one of the most talked about signings happened to be Daisy Thrash, who had already become such a talked about talent in the wrestling scene. From day one, Cameron and I talked about how we wanted to use Daisy to her full potential. We wanted every other company Daisy was a part of to see what a star she was in Lethal Angels of Wrestling and for them to realize that this girl has all the potential in the world to be the face of a product. It took some time for Daisy to adjust to the promotion, but this woman never gave up. This girl poured everything into this ring and it showed. Once Daisy showed that she had adjusted to the LAW ways, she was more than ready to become LAW Champion and at Caged, she managed to do that.
(The crowd applauds as a huge “DAISY” chant breaks out. Madam Vega nods and has a small smile on her face.)
Madam Vega: Miranda Minors, Hikaru Suzuki, Roni De Vil and Mitra Marvel are four women who know how much of a fighting champion Daisy Thrash was. These four women stepped into the ring against “The Sheriff” and these four women walked empty handed because they knew what quality talent Daisy was. Daisy was at the top of her game and facing Mitra Marvel, people were optimistic about Daisy’s next opponent approaching Lethal Hearts in March. After Collision Course, Daisy and I were discussing where she wanted to take this reign next and I was excited for the next match she was going to be a part of. However, during her last match in Italy outside of the LAW spectrum, Daisy suffered an injury…
(The crowd goes pin drop quiet as Madam Vega sighs.)
Madam Vega: It’s part of the business and injuries happen at any moment. Sometimes, injuries are only temporary and we just sit out one match and are fine to compete another day; however, in Daisy’s case, she suffered a neck injury and after conversations with a few of Daisy’s doctors and some of our LAW medical personal have stated that Daisy will be out of action for six to nine months…
(The crowd begins to boo loudly.)
Madam Vega: And due to that, we had to strip Daisy of the LAW Championship.
(The crowd chants “No” over and over again as Madam Vega reveals the item that was underneath the velvet cloth — the LAW Championship.)
Madam Vega: It was one of the more devastating moments I had to experience as General Manager of LAW. Daisy felt like she was disappointing all of you and she was letting me and Cameron down, but I just like I told her in private, I will say that Daisy did not let us down. Daisy was a wonderful LAW Champion and the next woman who holds this title is going to have some big shoes to fill.
(The crowd applauds as a “THANK YOU, DAISY” chant breaks out. Madam Vega smiles as she lets this chant go on for a moment longer before speaking.)
Madam Vega: The fans love you, Daisy! We wish you a speedy recovery! With the LAW Championship vacant and Lethal Hearts in March, Commissioner Consuela Rose Ava and myself have been talking about tournament, where the two finalists meet at Lethal Hearts in the Lethal Ladder Match for the vacant LAW Championship! More information to come in the next week, but I won’t blab on longer! Let’s get this show on the road!
(“Cherrybomb” plays back up again as Madam Vega waves to the crowd before leaving the ring.)
Melissa Flash: A tournament where the two finalists meet at Lethal Hearts in a LETHAL LADDER MATCH? As much as I am crushed about Daisy Thrash and her injury, I am excited for what Madam Vega and Consuela Rose Ava have come up with in this tournament!
Kat Ricci: Honestly, there are few favorites in LAW that could be the next LAW Champion, but I cannot wait to see this bracket!
Singles Match: The Empress vs Futura Soli
The ref calls for the bell and both women engage in a tie-up. Futura Soli wins with ease, circling around The Empress with a waistlock. She scores the takedown, but Empress lands in the seated position and elevates herself to her feet. Futura counters with a judo throw and mounts her opponent to unleash a fury of elbows. With control of the match established, Soli picks up Empress and whips her to the ropes. She goes the opposite direction and lands a picture perfect springboard crossbody! The Empress kicks out at one which prompts Futura to respond with a working hold from the back. The Empress wiggles her way out and pokes Futura in the eyes, who stumbles back holding her face.
Melissa Flash: The Empress isn't playing nice tonight! The ref is giving her a stern warning for that eye poke!
Kat Ricci: Soli tries to recover, but Empress takes her down with with snapmare and front dropkick!
Empress hovers over her opponent and smacks her across the face. She continues her assault by slamming Soli into by the back of her head. She stands up and stomps on Futura's fingers. Soli s screams out in pain and is rolling along the mat. Empress continues the momentum by whipping Soli to the corner and smashes her face a running big boot! Futura slumps in the corner and Empress wastes no time stomping her out. The ref separates them, prompting the Femme Fatale to run to the opposite corner and charges back with a low dropkick to the midsection. She grabs Soli's hair and drags her to the center of the ring to apply a modified camel clutch!
Melissa Flash: Soli has the camel clutch locked in! You can see the ruthless glare in the eyes of The Empress as she bends Futura's neck like a pretzel!
Kat Ricci: Pink Matter is going to be in trouble if she can't break out of this hold!
Futura manages to fight her way out and gets to her feet. She ducks a roundhouse kick and counters with a flapjack! Both women are laid out as the ref begins the ten count. Around the count of five, both women get to their feet, trading shots. The Empress attempts to gouge out Soli's eyes again, but Pink Matter scouts the attack and counters with a Hurricanrana! The Empress rolls towards the corner and gets to her feet. Futura is already on her and scores a tornado DDT! She picks up Empress and whips her back in the same corner where she scores a STIFF Pink Matter (flying bicycle knee)! As The Empress stumbles out, a tired Futura gestures to the crowd and uses her strength to secure the victory with a Fade to Pink (straight-jacket brainbuster).
Melissa Flash: What a match! Despite the sneaky tactics of The Empress, Futura ends up on top!
Kat Ricci: It's always good to mark your debut under the win column! Hopefully she can keep it up!
(Winner -- Futura Soli)
(Maria Cuesta is standing backstage.)
Maria: Please welcome my guest at this time one half of the Sweet Winters Kayla Winters, at Collision course you and Roxy retained your tag title against Rio and Saint Saito.
Kayla: You seem surprised Maria, well don’t be the outcome was that same has it always has been since Sweet Winters formed, LAW or Jet sends someone to face us, and we beat them. To be honest it getting little boring to me knowing that there isn’t a tag team in both companies that can come close to beating us.
Maria: So what about tonight and a rematch with the Sakaraba Sisters.
Kayla: Didn’t LAW learn the first time that they weren’t good enough to hang with us, now someone was stupid enough to sign them to face Sweet Winters again, fine, but the outcome will be the same as before, with Roxy and I having our arms raised.
(Consuela Rose Ava is backstage in a black and white suit as she is talking to a stage hand. Not much of the conversation as heard because as soon as the scene completely fades in, their conversation ends. Consuela hears a knock on her door.)
Consuela Rose Ava: Come on!
(Footsteps are heard as —REVY appears in the camera shot. The crowd gives a mixed reaction to the new signee, who looks at Consuela.)
Revy: You called for me?
Consuela Rose Ava: I did. I wasn’t sure how I was going to tell you this, but I figured it was better this way than hearing it by e-mail —
Revy: Do people still email stuff? Texting is how I get my stuff now.
Consuela Rose Ava: Emails are more professional, Revy. That’s not the point now. Remember when I hired you at Collision Course?
Revy: Of course, I remember an Ava making a smart decision. Why wouldn’t I?
Consuela Rose Ava: :unamused:
Revy: Seriously, what about it?
Consuela Rose Ava: Well, Cameron is recovering from her concussion in Australia, so she managed to watch Collision Course just a few days ago. She saw you in the show and called me a bunch of Australian curse words and told me that I had no power in signing people into LAW nor does Vega really.
Revy: Are you saying that I’m not going to get paid for this week?
Consuela Rose Ava: *facepalms* Revy, I’m letting you wrestle tonight, but you are not a signed LAW talent. I’m hopping to reach out to Cameron after the show and talk about this situation. I suggest that you win your match and until I can reach out to Cameron or Cameron bothers showing up and resolves this, you can wrestle in LAW as a free agent.
Revy: I thought you said Cam was going to be open to giving me a second chance?
Consuela Rose Ava: I lied. But, I feel as long as you impress everyone and don’t turn this promotion upside down, Cam will sign you.
Revy: Well, alright, I’ll try to do that —winning is a new concept for me. As for turning promotions upside down, that’s second nature to me so no promises with that.
(Revy smirks as she leaves the camera shot. Consuela Rose Ava looks at the direction Revy went hoping that Revy does not mess anything up.)
Singles Match: Revy vs. Agatha Marselinna
The spitfire Revy goes right after Agatha Marselinna with a clothesline! Agatha manages to duck out of the way as Revy runs past her! Revy turns herself around as Agatha connects with a kick to Revy’s stomach! Agatha follows that up with a side Russian leg sweep as that gets Revy down! Agatha goes for the cover, but Revy manages to kick out at one! Agatha gets Revy back to her feet, but Revy manages to connect with a knife edge chop directly onto Agatha’s chest! Revy connects with another knife edge chip and she does this until Agatha is backed into one of the corners! Revy shushes the crowd as they go silent instantly before Revy connects with a giant chop across Agatha’s chest! Agatha is holding her chest as you can see a red handprint on her chest! Revy gets Agatha before connecting with aCoconut Flash (Side headlock facebreaker knee smash while using the opponent's knee for leverage)! Revy goes for the cover, but Agatha kicks out at two!
Melissa Flash: That was an impressive move from Revy, but Agatha is still holding on!
Revy manages to get Agatha Marselinna back to her feet as she connects with a back kick! Agatha is holding her stomach before Revy runs for the ropes, rebounds from them and connects with a Shooting Peach (Charging Jumping Hip Attack)! But, Agatha manages to get Revy in position before connecting with a German Suplex! Agatha holds Revy there as she goes for the cover! Revy manages to roll out at two! The two women make it back to their feet around the same time as Agatha connects with a roundhouse kick, but Revy manages to duck that before connecting with a superkick, but Agatha manages to duck that before pulling in Revy and connecting with a DDT as she goes for the cover, but Revy kick out at two!
Kat Ricci: Agatha Marselinna seems a little shocked about that move, but Revy is still in this match! Revy is going to need to think of something if she wants to win!
Agatha Marselinna gets Revy back to her feet, but Revy connects with a harsh slap across Agatha’s cheek! Revy is taunting the Anak Gaul Jakarta to slap her back! Revy wants Agatha to slap Revy as hard as she can! Agatha connects with a punch at Revy’s face, but Revy throws one back at her! Agatha throws a punch at Revy, but Revy throws one back at her! For the time being, these two women are throwing punches at one another, before Agatha manages to throw an elbow smash at Revy’s face! Revy holds her face as Agatha goes for the Ambivalent (Delayed Superkick), but Revy manages to duck! Agatha stumbles as she gets her leg down, but Revy, from out of nowhere, connects with the Recoil (stunner) as she quickly goes for the cover and to win the match!
Melissa Flash: Revy just needed one shot at the Recoil and she wins her debut match! If Owner Cameron Ella Ava is not impressed by that, who knows what she will be impressed with!
(Winner — Revy)
(The camera opens to Consuela Rose Ava sitting in the LAW Commissioner's office with an impatient Roni de Vil. After a few moments, she looks at her watch and shakes her head.)
Consuela Rose Ava: She’s late.
Roni de Vil: I’m not surprised. She thinks she can do whatever she wants around here!
Consuela Rose Ava: (glares) If you ask me, she’s not the only one.
(Roni rolls her eyes as there’s a knock on the door.)
Consuela Rose Ava: Come in.
(The secretary opens the door for Miranda Minors, strolls strolls in without a care in the world. She eyes Roni menacingly as she sits down.)
Consuela Rose Ava: (dryly) It’s good of you to join us, Miranda.
Miranda Minors: I would apologize for my tardiness, but it’s not like you’re going anywhere any soon. We’re in this dump for another hour or so.
(Consuela Rose Ava closes her eyes for a second and sighs deeply.)
Consuela Rose Ava: When things get this bad, my sister usually handles these matters. Because she’s preoccupied and I don’t have time to dwell on such childish matters I’ll cut to the chase - I’m extremely disappointed by your actions at Collision Course. As one of the founding promotions of the IJWF, it is our responsibility to set an example of good sportsmanship and act accordingly-
Miranda Minors: First off: this is a competitive business. Being a goodie two-shoes doesn’t get you anywhere. Secondly, it wasn’t like Roni was going to win that match.
(Miranda leans forward)
Miranda Minors: Word of advice? A good commissioner knows who belongs here and who doesn’t. Roni de Vil is definitely not one of them.
Roni de Vil: (glares) Who made you the judge of who’s good enough? If that’s the case, then why did you attack me? You can’t even compete for the LAW Championship for the rest of this season!
Miranda Minors: Let’s just say I’m thinning the herd-
Consuela Rose Ava: Will the both of you shut up for a second!? Miranda, your actions of late has you walking a thin line here in LAW. We’re not like other places that sit on our hands and do nothing while the inmates run the asylum! My sister made a deal with you two about keeping your hands off each other until Collision Course was over. And in classic teenager fashion, you break that rule! So, here’s where I stand: I don’t care who started this feud. Miranda, because you was warned before I’m going to have to teach you a lesson. Not only are you still banned from competing for the LAW Championship this season, you’re out of the tournament as well.
Miranda Minors: WHAT!?
Roni de Vil: Ha!
Consuela Rose Ava: I wouldn’t be laughing if I was you. You may have acted out of retaliation by costing Miranda the IJWF title, but if you pull one more stunt like that, then you’ll be pulled from the tournament as well.
Miranda Minors: This is some bullsh*t.
Consuela Rose Ava: It sure is. That’s why it’s called a consequence. This meeting is over.
(Roni crosses her arms and smiles as Miranda storms out of the office. She marches down the hall in frustration, until she spots something that catches her interest. Her eyes follow April Song as she walks by with the Lethal Specialist Championship over her shoulder. Feeling Miranda’s gaze on her, April stops for a moment and turns.)
April Song: May I help you?
Miranda Minors: Soon enough, you will.
(Miranda smiles at April for a moment and walks away, leaving the champion standing there with a puzzled expression.)
Singles Match: Hayley Valentine vs. Jessica Rose
Jessica Rose finds herself posing on top of the ramp in front of the LAW crowd. She is taking the reception in, but —
Kat Ricci: Sweet Roxy just struck Jessica Rose with the Lethal Tag Team Championship!
Soon after, Kayla Winters meets Sweet Roxy, who had begun stomping on the newcomer! The crowd’s booing becomes louder as Roxy instructs for Kayla to get Jessica to her knees! Sweet Roxy places her title in front of Jessica before Roxy runs and connects with the The Mafiosa Ambush (Running Spike Hurricanrana)! Jessica Rose crashes onto the Lethal Tag Team Championship on top of the ramp! Kayla gets an unconscious Jessica and throws her down the ramp. Jessica goes rolling down as the champions meet the other woman down there!
Melissa Flash: Sweet Winters are beating the hell out of Jessica Rose! Why are they doing this?
Kat Ricci: Sugar and Spice has a victory over them! Sweet Winters wants to establish their dominance over the Lethal Tag Team Division!
Sweet Roxy gets Jessica Rose to her feet! Jessica is wobbly, but she connects with a huge smack across Roxy’s cheek as she swings to the side! Kayla Winters connects with the Special K (Spear) as she runs through Jessica ringside! Kayla gets Jessica’s body and throws it inside the ring! Sweet Roxy is sinisterly sliding underneath the bottom rope! Kayla steps in between the ropes as she gets Jessica by her face!
Kayla Winters: No one gets an upset victory over us without dealing with the consequences! Sugar and Spice have NOTHING on Sweet Winters!
Sweet Roxy connects with a Tramp Stamp (Jumping Superkick) before going for that top rope! Kayla Winters is holding down Jessica Rose!
Melissa Flash: Sweet Roxy is going to go for that The Curse of Mikado! Roxy tried to hit this move and take out one of the members of Wolfegang Symphony back in November! It looks like they want to be successful at hitting this move!
(The crowd begins getting rowdy…)
Kat Ricci: Sidney Knight is coming to the aid of her friend and tag team partner! A steel chair is in her possession! What in the hell took her so long?
Sidney Knight comes into the ring and begins to smack the chair at Kayla Winters’ direction; however, Kayla manages to duck out of the ring! Sidney goes and throws the chair at Sweet Roxy at the top rope, but Kayla manages to lift Roxy from the top rope and down to ringside! Sidney g0es to check on Jessica Rose, who is regaining consciousness. She is trying to invite Sweet Winters back into the ring to fight, but the team make their way up the ramp with the titles in their possession.
Melissa Flash: Jessica Rose was not expecting for a mugging to happen! She was scheduled for a match!
Kat Ricci: Boohoo, who cares? Jessica should have brought more of a fight into this match! She better be thanking Sidney Knight because she would have been out of it after The Curse of Mikado!
(Winner -- No Contest)
(Commercial break.)
(Rina and Yuki Sakaraba are backstage talking to each other as the camera comes in.)
Yuki: "Tonight we face Sweet Winters again. We've had a match previously, but sadly for us we couldn't get the job done."
Rina: "Just like our matches for the LAW tag team titles. We come so far and get so close, but in the end it never mattered. I guess, there's only so much failure one can take, ya know?"
Yuki: " Don't say that Rina! We just gotta believe and keep trying!"
Rina: "i guess so... well we'll see.
Yuki: “Tonight, we face two tough opponents. But also, tonight, we prove to everyone why we're the premier tag team in LAW. Tonight, we show you why we deserve one more chance at the titles. And tonight, you'll see why the Sakaraba Sisters are one of the best in the world!"
Main Event: Sweet Winters (Kayla Winters and Sweet Roxy) vs. The Sakaraba Sisters (Yuki and Rina Sakaraba)
The match begins with Yuki and Roxy as the tag champ taunts The Sakaraba Sisters reminding them of what happened last time they were in the ring with Sweet Winters at Limelight. That seems to have ticked off Yuki as she goes for a kick to the gut and wanting to hit a DDT but Roxy is able to escape and backs away to her corner. Roxy seems to be frustrated that her trash talk has only made Yuki made mad. Roxy now tags in Kayla Winters as the much stronger member of Sweet Winters is in the ring. The match gets its first collar-and-elbow tie as Yuki goes against Kayla. Immediately the much stronger Kayla Winters is able to get the advantage and get behind Sakaraba. Yuki is able to slip out of the waistlock and gets Winter trapped in a waistlock of her own. Sakaraba tries to hit Kayla with a German Suplex but Winters is too strong and is able to keep herself from being lifted. Kayla now fires back elbows as that stuns Yuki and forces the Kawaii Supernova to drop the waistlock. The Hybrid Wrestling Machine now charges and Yuki carrying her all the way to the Sweet Winters corner.
Kat Ricci: Now Yuki is trapped in the corner of the best tag team in this business, Mel! Yuki is gonna get it now.
Kayla now tags in Roxy as the two of them begin to work on keeping Yuki separated from Rina and target Yuki’s left leg. The referee is finally able to get some sort of separation as she pulls Roxy away who was attacking Yuki even after the legal five count. This distraction of Roxy argueing with the ref allows Kayla to get a cheap shot against Yuki. Roxy now after argueing with the ref pulls Yuki in for a cover but Sakaraba is able to kick out at two. The attack continues on Sakaraba’s leg as Yuki begins to crawl towards her sister but Roxy simply pulls Yuki back into the Sweet Winters corner and tags Kayla back in.
Melissa Flash: There’s no denying the skill of the Sweet Winters, ever since Sin City they have grown well as a Tag Team and here is the basics of Tag Team wrestling. Isolating one member of a team and continuing to attack the limbs.
Sweet Winters continues to isolate Yuki as Rina is trying to cheer her sister on to make the tag. Kayla Winters now isolates Yuki as the crowd is showing their absolute support for Yuki. They seem to be cheering her on to make the tag to Rina and soon she is able to dodge a stomp from Kayla and roll away. Winters goes after her but Yuki is up to her feet and hits a forearm to Kayla! Now Sakaraba is letting out multiple forearms and is trying to fight off Kayla Winters. Yuki now dives towards her sister and SHE MAKES THE TAG! Rina is in as she begins to chip away at the much bigger Winters with knife-edge chops! Rina now rebounds off the ropes and charges towards Kayla but the Hybrid Wrestling Machine is able to get her opponent in a Fireman’s Carry! Winters is looking to hit the gutbuster but there are multiple shots from Rina as she escapes the hold!
Melissa Flash: Rina has come into this match red hot. The Sakaraba Sisters really want a chance to face Lethal Tag Team Champs for their titles.
Rina is now back on her feet as once again Rina is trying to chop down Kayla but the Lethal Tag Champ isn’t going down as she goes for a Lariat to Rina but the Punk Rock Princess ducks only to be hit with a lariat from Kayla’s other hand! Rina is done as Kayla signals for the end and goes to her team’s corner, preparing for the Special K (Spear). She’s yelling for Rina to get up to her feet but suddenly “Mayhem” by Halestorm plays and out from the back come Sugar and Spice!
Melissa Flash: Jessica Rose and Sidney Knight are at the ramp waving at Lethal Tag Champs, is this revenge for what they attempted to do to Jessica earlier in the night? Roxy is yelling at the two of them to leave already. She’s threatening Sugar and Spice.
Kayla seems to be distracted as well but her attention turns to Rina who is up to her feet. Winter charges in for the Special K but RINA COUNTERS IT WITH A SCHOOL BOY PIN! Roxy sees her partner being pinned as she rushes back to the ring but YUKI SAKARABA STOPS HER BY CHARGING RIGHT AT ROXY! Rina just pinned Kayla Winters, the Sakaraba Sisters have defeated Sweet Winters!
(Winners - Rina and Yuki Sakaraba)
Rina immediately leaves the ring as the crowd cheer the sisters. “Plastic Love” plays as you can see a shocked face on Kayla Winters, she begins to argue with the ref. You cans see a furious look on the face of Roxy as Sidney Knight mouths off to the champs that “Karma is a Bitch”.
(The LAW and IJWF logo appears on the bottom of the screen as it fades to black.)
