Melissa Flash: WE ARE LIVE FROM THE LAW ARENA IN BOYLE HEIGHTS, CALIFORNIA! Welcome to Monday Night LAW! I am Melissa Flash and next to me is my lovely partner, Kat Ricci!
Kat Ricci: We got such an amazing show tonight! We continue round one of the LAW Championship Tournament! Sweet Roxy and April Song have advance to the semi-finals and we’ll be finding out their opponents on this episode! In our main event, Revy tries to not only fight to not only advance, but for her LAW contract as she takes on the woman who has been demanding for an opportunity in Ruby Auriel!
Melissa Flash: But, right now, we open this show with a LAW Championship Tournament Match between Roni De Vil and Agatha Marselinna! Let’s get this show on the road!
LAW Championship Tournament Round One: Roni De Vil vs. Agatha Marselinna
The opening contest for tonight’s show saw Roni De Vil vs. Agatha Marselinna as the two of them competed for an opportunity in the second round of the LAW Championship tournament. The two of them are facing off for the first time ever and there’s a feeling out process with the two. Both are reaching out their hand for a lock up, Roni with a kick to the gut gets the advantage in her favor as she has Agatha in a side-headlock. Marselinna is trying her hardest to fight off De Vil but she is too strong to push off. Agatha is finally able to slip out as she begins to attack Roni with forearms and such, Roni is telling her to give her more and the Jakarta native replies with more shots! Roni is able to duck one shot and hit Agatha with a Snap German Suplex!
Kat Ricci: Did you see that Mel?! That was disgusting, I think Agatha might be out now! The Jakarta Native just landed right on her neck.
The match continued on as at this point it was all Roni as she was able to slow down the pace significantly as she wore down Agatha with rest holds, even though Roni was a crowd favorite it was Agatha getting the crowd on her side as the crowd behind the Jakarta Funky Kid. Soon Agatha would be fight back with the crowd continuing to cheer her on. She would fire back elbows, forcing to let go of the current grounded side-headlock. Agatha with shoot kicks to the chest of Roni before running the ropes and hitting the Red Grim with a running forearm. Roni is immediately back up but sent down again with sling blade!
Melissa Flash: And now Agatha is feeling as she’s yelling to the crowd to get psyched up.
Agatha now heads the corner as she is stomping her feet and telling Roni to get up! She’s setting up for Ambivalent (Delayed Superkick) as Roni is slowly getting up, still dazed from before as Agatha rushes in! Super---No Roni is able to duck the kick but Agatha rushes back in, only to be popped up! RONI FM CONNECTS! De Vil was able to hit a brutal Pop-Up Powerbomb to Agatha as soon she rolls Marselinna to her knees and connects with a Silver Bullet II! Cover from Roni as she is only able to get a two count!
Melissa: Agatha is still in this match! She’s kicked out of two big impact moves from Roni and you can see De Vil pissed and wanting to end it.
Roni now gets Agatha up and looking for the Hawthorne Effect. De Vil goes for it but it’s countered! AGATHA COUNTERS WITH A ROLL UP! Only a two count as both women are back up to their feet, Agatha rushes in only to be hit with a Knockout Punch from Roni! The Devil’s Gentle Fist connects as Roni goes for the cover! ONE! TWO AND THREE! Roni De Vil moves on to the second round!
(Commercial Break.)
Single’s Match: April Song vs. Miranda Minors
The two step into the middle of the ring as Miranda Minors extends her hand out for April Song to shake! April looks at Miranda’s hand and looks around the LAW crowd in the arena! This goes on for a moment longer before April accepts Miranda’s handshake! Miranda goes to release her hold, but April is not letting go of her grip as she pulls Miranda closer and connects with a headlock! April gets on one knee as she maintains the headlock as she wrenches it in more! Miranda manages to push April away from her as April rebounds from the ropes and connects with a clothesline, but Miranda ducks out of the way as April rushes past her! April turns herself around as Miranda manages to connect with a back kick! Miranda follows that up with a Spellbound (Swinging neckbreaker) as she goes for the cover! April kicks out at two!
Kat Ricci: Miranda Minors has been lookin good going up against the Lethal Specialists Championship! I wonder if she will be able to keep that up!
Miranda Minors stays on the offense as she manages to get April Song back up to her feet before whipping her to the corner! Miranda runs towards April and connects with some double knees to her face! Miranda stands on the second turnbuckle before throwing some punches on the top of April’s head! One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! April hoists Miranda up in a powerbomb position! Seven! Eight! Nine! Ten! April connects with a powerbomb as Miranda crashes on the mat as April holds it there for the cover, but Miranda kicks out at two! April begins to apply the Prison Lock (Kneeling figure-four leglock) on the former LAW Champion! Miranda is trying to reach for the bottom rope, but April tries her best to keep Miranda away from those ropes! There is a look on pain in Miranda’s face as April continues to wrench in that submission hold!
Melissa Flash: Miranda manages to grab onto the bottom rope! April is going to need to release the hold!
Before the five count can be made, April Song releases the hold, but it seemed like the Prison Lock did the damage that it needed to do! Miranda is trying to get some feeling back to her legs as April finds her way back to her feet! April gestures for Miranda to get back to her feet! April is almost stalking up Miranda, who slowly makes her way back to her feet! April with the SPARK-Ling Combination (Sleeper hold, transitioned into a penalty kick)! Playing tribute to the icon Brody Sparks! It seems like Miranda is slowly fading away as April gets Miranda in a seated position! April rebounds from the ropes and connects with a penalty kick, but Miranda manages to duck herself out of the way! April’s foot is left in the air for a moment before countering with a roll-up! Miranda has a handful of April’s tights as she manages to get a three count!
Melissa Flash: Miranda just got a victory over the Lethal Specialists Championship! That was a cheap way to get the victory!
Kat Ricci: Who cares, Mel? It seems like Miranda just secured herself a shot at the Lethal Specialists Championship!
(The Sakaraba Sisters - Rina and Yuki - are backstage with interviewer, Maria Cuesta)
Maria Cuesta: Rina and Yuki, two episodes ago we saw you shock the LAW Universe by defeating the current LAW Lethal Tag Team Champions, Sweet Winters. How does it feel to be the talk of the promotion?
Rina Sakaraba: How does it feel!? We’re back on track, Maria!
Yuki Sakaraba: Hai!
Rina Sakaraba: We picked up a major win and reminded the LAW that we’re here to stay! I feel confident about our chances to compete for the Lethal Tag Team titles. We’ve spent too much time being the whipping girls around here! Back in Japan, we were superstars! I believe in earning your keep, but Sweet Winters makes it hard to be an honest competitor.
Yuki Sakaraba: But yet, we stay true to our hearts! Rin-chan and I can’t lose sight of the treasure! Last month the victory was ours. Now we have to wait for the boss to give us what we want - a chance to retrieve that treasure! (thinks) But, you know, we did get some help from Sugar & Spice.
Rina Sakaraba: (shrugs) That may be true, but a win is a win. What do they want for it, a cookie?
(Jessica Rose and Sidney Knight - Sugar & Spice - walk into view. Jessica has a smile on her face, while Sid simply grins)
Jessica Rose: Actually, a cookie sounds quite nice.
Sidney Knight: It is cheat day, after all. We actually just want to congratulate you two on your victory by taking advantage of our act of vengeance.
Jessica Rose: We may be nice, but when it’s an eye for eye, out comes the spice!
Rina Sakaraba: Well I’m glad you took care of your own business. But, that business is now our business. But, if the Avas pass us over, then we hope you’re the ones to dethrone them. No matter what, Sweet Winters must be stopped. They caused too much havoc throughout LAW and it’s time one of us knocked them off their high horses.
Yuki Sakaraba: The Code of the Space Pirate dictates that they no longer deserve the treasure they carry. We’ll make sure it’s relieved from their hands.
Female Voice: Who made you the one who decides what’s LAW around here?
(Both teams turn their heads as the camera pans over to Sweet Roxy and Kayla Winters - Sweet Winters - standing several feet away with their tag titles draped over their shoulders.)
Sweet Roxy: Last I checked, there’s no world champion, which makes us the de facto authority around here. And from where I’m standing, I see four insignificant brats unworthy of fighting us for these belts.
Kayla Winters: It’s not your fault ladies - we’re raised with a different pedigree than yours. A better, more efficient way of being a champion.
(Sidney Knight steps forward, but is stopped by Jessica.)
Sweet Roxy: Touched a nerve, didn’t I? There’s no shame in admitting who comes from a better family. The Vendettas have achieved more than every Knight member alive. Heck, even the dead ones-
Sidney Knight: (angry) I swear if you finish that sentence, I’ll gut you like a fish!
Jessica Rose: Sid, it’s not worth it! We’ll get ours in the ring.
Kayla Winters: You know, Roxanne, being a Knight isn’t so bad. It beats being trained by a Wakef-
Jessica Rose: YOU BITCH!
(In one swift motion, Jessica Rose leaps at Kayla with a flying kick. Sidney soon follows after her partner with a spear to Roxy. As Maria Cuesta leaves the scene, the Sakaraba Sisters try to pull off Sugar and Spice, but find themselves attacked in return. Eventually all three teams are fighting with each other as Madam Vega arrive with security.)
Madam Vega: Cut it out this INSTANT! All of you!
(Security manages to pull away all three teams from each other. Vega takes a moment to catch her breath and shake her head.)
Madam Vega: The three of you will stay away from each other until further notice, understand!? We’ll deal with this later!
(As the pissed off teams leave their separate ways, the camera slowly zooms in on Madam Vega’s upset face.)
Madam Vega: Consuela and I need to have a chat…
(Camera fades out)
Singles Match: “Big Sexy” Santana vs Jessica Hendrix
The match starts off with both women getting a feel for one another. Santana stays in one place as she waits for Jessica Hendrix to approach her. Hendrix decides to initiate a lock-up in which she immediately regrets after being pushed halfway across the ring. Realizing that she was outpowered, Hendrix charges and lands a basement dropkick, knocking Santana to a knee. She attempts an armbar, but Santana lifts her off her feet, and lands a vicious backbreaker! Hendrix rolls around the mat, screaming in pain. Santana moves saunters towards her opponent and picks her up by the hair. Hendrix skillfully maneuvered around Santana and knocks her to the ropes with a dropkick. Santana swings wildly, but Hendrix ducks and counters with a springboard tornado DDT! She follows this with a springboard moonsault and makes a cover. Santana kicks out at one with authority!
Kat Ricci: Santana made Hendrix fly like an eagle with that kick out!
Melissa Flash: Big Sexy is using her superior size to her advantage. Hendrix caught her off guard, but it seems Santana is back at square one.
Santana’s manager, Frankie Owens is cheering on her friend at ringside, telling her to capitalize. Hendrix hears this, climbs the nearest top rope, and takes off with a diving crossbody. To the crowd’s surprise, Big Sexy catches her in midair, and slams her against the top turnbuckle in the corner. She gets Hendrix to her feet and walks backward to the center of the ring. She races forward with a corner splash, but Hendrix dives out of the way just in time. Seeing Sanatana stagger backwards from crashing into the corner, she readies a Superkick. Santana snaps to her senses just in time to avoid the finisher and counter with a German suplex. Jessica rolls onto her stomach, only to get squashed by a Landing Strip (Senton across down opponent back). Ever so defiant, Jessica tries to fight back as Santana drags her to the corner, but she falls victim to a Splashdown (Vader Bomb Splash to downed opponent). After the pinfall victory, Santana picks up Jessica and shakes her hand much to her surprise, and even helps her out of the ring before going back to the center to let the ref raise her hand.
Melissa Flash: What great sportsmanship from Big Sexy! She may have dominated for the majority of the match, but she gave respect to her opponent.
Kat Ricci: Frankie Owens seems to approve of this as well. Apparently she’s Santana’s best friend and manager. She seems to play by the rules at least.
Melissa Flash: You think there’s something more there?
Kat Ricci: We’ll see.
(Commercial break.)
(Camera pans to backstage with Commissioner Consuela Rose Ava on the phone as she is slowly pacing backstage listen to what the person on the other line is saying.)
Consuela Rose Ava: Yes, Cam. Everything is under control here. LAW has been looking great and Madam Vega has been huge help to me on trying to do this “commissioner” thing.
Cameron Ella Ava (on speaker): Good, I have to admit, there are still some decisions you’ve been making that I haven’t been quite happy with.
Consuela Rose Ava: Are you talking about the Revy situation?
Cameron Ella Ava (on speaker): I am, you know how much I can’t stand her, but I was willing to sit down with her and talk about a deal since Moongoose and Shimmer were on my ass about that for weeks, but what are the chances of Revy advancing tonight?
Consuela Rose Ava: Has Revy even won a match before?
Cameron Ella Ava (on speaker): I don’t think she has the fire and will to win this tournament. I don’t think she’ll even advance tonight.
(Madam Vega walks into the scene as she has a stressed out look on her face. Consuela Rose Ava looks at Madam Vega.)
Consuela Rose Ava: Cam, I am going to need to call you back.
(Consuela hangs up the call before turning her attention to Madam Vega.)
Madam Vega: This Lethal Tag Team Division has gotten out of control. I can’t remember if we’ve ever had a backstage brawl occur in LAW this past year, but when THE SAKARABA SISTERS, the calmest people in LAW, are brawling, you know that this is getting out of hand.
Consuela Rose Ava: I was worried that they would be getting out of hand, but the tension between the three of those teams are deep. The Sakaraba Sisters haven’t forgotten about Limelight. Sugar and Spice haven’t forgotten about what occurred on the last episode with Sweet Winters attacking Jessica and then with Sugar and Spice costing Sweet Winters the match against The Sakaraba Sisters. Sugar and Spice and The Sakaraba Sisters have victories over Sweet Winters.
Madam Vega: Here’s what I am proposing: Sugar and Spice vs. The Sakaraba Sisters on the next episode of LAW. The winners move on to Lethal Hearts to face Sweet Winters for the Lethal Tag Team Championships.
Consuela Rose Ava: You know what, Vega? I like that idea. Consider it official.
(The crowd cheers at the announcement as Madam Vega wears a smile on her face.)
Madam Vega: I’ll inform the two teams about it.
(Madam Vega nods her head before walking away from the scene as Consuela Rose Ava looks at the direction Vega left with a stern look on her face.)
Main Event: LAW Championship Tournament Round One: Revy vs. Ruby Auriel
With the main event under way, Revy walks confidently up to Ruby Auriel, who does not seem quite impressed by Revy’s mannerisms. Ruby pushes Revy’s face out of the way as Revy, who’s face is turned to the side seems a little shocked about that mannerism. Revy has a grin on her face before pushing Ruby back, but into the ropes! Ruby rebounds off the ropes and connects with a clothesline, but Revy ducks out of the way and connects with a back kick! Ruby is holding her stomach as Revy follows up that back kick with a Axe Kick (Scissors kick) as Ruby falls onto the mat! She is rubbing her neck as Revy gets Ruby up by her hair and whips her to the ropes! Revy connects with a Shooting Peach (Charging Jumping Hip Attack)! Ruby falls on her back, but she rolls herself out of the ring to recover! She is near the announcer’s table, but it seems like Revy is not going to give Ruby time to recover!
Melissa Flash: Suicide dive to the outside! Ruby Auriel manages to move out of the way!
Instead, Ruby manages to flapjack Revy onto the announcer’s table! Revy goes back as Ruby Auriel is going to do her best to keep that new offense going! Ruby picks up Revy and connects with the Auriel Special (Backdrop Driver) as Revy finds herself on the floor ringside! Ruby quickly slides back into the ring as she demands for the official to begin counting Revy! One! Two! Three! Four! Five! It seemed like whenever the count progressed, Ruby began to get more confident that Revy would be counted out! Six! Seven! Eight! Nine! Revy manages to slide into the ring on time, which pisses off Ruby! Ruby begins to stomp on Revy as each of those stomps wears her down! Ruby begins to stalk Revy, who begins to fall to her knees, but Ruby gets Revy in position before connecting with a hurricanrana driver! Ruby runs for the cover, but Revy kicks out at two!
Kat Ricci: Ruby Auriel looks pissed at the moment and I don’t blame her! She really wants to get the ball rolling in Lethal Angels of Wrestling and by taking out a hungry Revy, it will be a great victory for her!
Ruby Auriel begins to trash talk to Revy and gets her by her chin as she mutters a few choice words to Revy! Revy delivers a huge slap to her face as that sounded like it stung Ruby’s cheek! Revy tries to find her way back to her feet as Ruby slaps Revy’s across the face back! This wears down Revy as Ruby tries to connect with the Golden Impact (Double Underhook Piledriver), but Revy is not allowing Ruby to do that at all! Revy refuses to stay down as she manages to use whatever strength she has and back body drop Ruby over her head! Ruby is clutching her lower back in pain as Revy is gesturing for Ruby to rise up! Revy with the Recoil (Stunner), but Ruby manages to move out of the way! Ruby counters with Golden Bullet (Cutter; sometimes with a handstand Variation), but Revy manages to get herself out position of the cutter!
Melissa Flash: Revy just poked Ruby Auriel in the eye! The official did not see anything!
Revy takes advantage of the opportunity by connecting with the Recoil! Revy goes for the cover as she manages to get a three count!
Kat Ricci: Revy just cheated her way to the semi-finals! Ruby Auriel had that match won!
Melissa Flash: Despite how she won the match, it seems like Revy will face Lethal Specialists Champion April Song in the semi-finals! If Revy manages to defeat April Song, she will punch her ticket to Lethal Hearts!
(The last shot is with Revy celebrating and having her fist up in victory and Ruby Auriel trying to explain to the official about her cheating ways. The official LAW and IJWF logos are shown on the bottom of the screen as it fades to black.)
