Brief biography:
Natsumi was born in Chita but her father, a successful businessman, moved his family to Okinawa shortly after she was born and she grew up there,
but unlike most fathers-Natsumi’s encouraged her to explore what she liked in life which included learning photography from her world traveled
grandfather and become interested in a great many things.
One of these things would later turn out to be professional wrestling when she caught a Super Japan Pro Wrestling show in Itoman while visiting family
there, namely the Jenna Rhodes/Sofia Cortez match that was apart of the undercard for the event which lead to Natsumi tracking down Rhodes after the
match and finding out everything that she could about where she could learn to wrestle.
Natsumi became a student of the (in)famous Miss Tara who taught her everything that she needed and eventually she started wrestling for the International
Championship Wrestling Alliance, earning herself the right to call herself the women’s champion roughly six months after she debuted as she did for the Texas based
Outlaw Championship Wrestling promotion based out of the World Wrestling Alliance as well as “Marika Reimon”.
However her greatest prize came when she met Alex Marik in the ICWA and the two hit it off big time, eventually getting married-but even marriage didn’t
slow her down as she was revealed to be Yuri Daniels mystery partner for her ICWA Women’s Tag Team title match at ICWA’s Thunder Road 2014 iPPV event, a
title that they would hold two times.
Marika would then join her husband in the UWC following ICWA’s closure but then enter a brief period of dormancy when the UWC closed itself two years later
in 2017 and now she looks to giving JET a try.
