Pre-Show
The show opens up to Melissa Flash introducing the Finish Line pre-show panel which includes Kat Ricci, Jackie Cruz, and former classic Lethal Angel Champion Tennessee Jones. Melissa brought up the pre-show match which would show two pairs of Hollywood Fight Club graduates square off - The Verrazano Sisters (Lynn & Daria) vs Brina Lee & Ashley Black. Jackie gave some insight into the competitors: The Verrazano Sisters were a duo from Staten Island who traveled west to be trained by Jackie herself. Brina Lee was a bright eye superstar from the midwest while Ashley Black was a Chicago-native with a goth-like aesthetic. While Brina and Ashley weren’t a permanent tag team, Jackie feels if they stay consistent they would have a chance against their opponents who fought beside each other since the started wrestling. Lynn was a technical wizard while Daria was a striking savant. They used this versatile style combination to stay ahead of the curve. Kat Ricci remarks seeing an HFC show and thinks it could go either way. Tennessee was looking forward to seeing the next wave of female stars go at it.
Next, Melissa discussed Sidney Knight betraying her Sugar & Spice partner, Jessica Rose after losing in the Lethal 500. She cites the break up of Jessica’s previous team with Persephone Bane in OWA as the Sugar Girls, adding that Jessica didn’t have much luck with teams. Kat remarked how she was waiting for Jessica to get some well-deserved vengeance, adding that when a team fails, they fail together and Sidney needs to take responsibility for her end. Melissa then brought up the Lethal Specialist Championship Match. Last Woman Standing match between Revy and defending champ April Song. This would be their second match for the title, with April Song coming out on top of a submission match. Jackie thinks Revy will find redemption and beat April since she’s a brawler, but Tennessee thinks April has Revy’s number. Kat feels it could go down the middle. Next, was the Lethal Angel Championship between Kayla Winters and Roni de Vil. Melissa felt that Roni was a stronger singles competitor, but if Kayla played it smart she could win. The others agreed with her, but Kat brought up whether Sweet Roxy would make an appearance to try and screw over her former tag team partner. Jackie felt that anything is possible in wrestling and the others agreed. As for the Lethal 500 Finals, all four women were on the ropes about who would win. They all agreed that it could go either way. They felt the same way with the Lethal Tag Team Championship. While Dynamic Duo has yet to find success as a team in LAW - despite Jocelyn Sky’s reign as Specialist Champion - they felt that Jessica and Santana have yet to truly be tested as a team. After a few last notes, Melissa ended the show to present the pre-show match.
Pre-Show: The Verrazano Sisters (Lynn & Daria) vs Brina Lee & Ashley Black
Lynn Verrazano & Ashley Black decided to start off the match in the center of the ring. Ashley mounted an early advantage with her no holds barred offense. Lynn had to think outside the box and find a way to lock her down by capitalizing on her mistakes. She found the opportunity after dodging a cannonball senton. She tagged in her sister, who jumped in and unleashed a series of punishing strikes. It would take a desperate headbutt from out of nowhere to knock Daria back and tag in Brina Lee, who launches herself into the ring with a diving crossbody. Through a series of high-risk maneuvers, Brina took back control of the match. She tried to finish things off with a superkick that Daria blocked and counter with a bicycle knee. Once she created some distance, she tagged in Lynn who delivered her finisher the Verrazano Bridge (Bridging Hammerlock Northern Lights Suplex) for the win.
Winner: The Verrazano Sisters
LAW & IJWF credits appear on the screen.
The camera opens to an empty Daytona International Speedway, minus for eight stock cars racing against each other.
Narrator: First there was eight…
Four of the eight cars began to either spin off the road, crash into the or, or run into each other.
Narrator: Then there was four. But now…
Two cars veer off the road and flip as they round a corner.
Narrator: Only two remain. Who will claim victory as their own? Who will become the sole winners of the inaugural Lethal 500 tournament? Who will be the team waiting to defend their tag team championship? All will be revealed once we reach…
One car is seen blowing past the checkered flag.
Narrator: The Finish Line.
The camera changes to the interior of the Ocean Center as we see a sold out crowd of 9,400! As the angle hovers over the crowd it slowly transitions to Melissa Flash and Kat Ricci sitting at the commentary desk.
"Finish Line" by Skillet begins playing in the background.
Melissa Flash: Welcome to the finals of the Lethal 500! We are here in Daytona Beach, FL in front of a sold out crowd of LAW faithful!
Kat Ricci: In addition to the Lethal 500 finals we have all three LAW titles on the line, with the Lethal Tag Team Championship being defended on tonight’s main event!
Melissa Flash: All of our matches tonight are rivalries and grudge matches! Speaking of which, let’s get to our first match of the night!
DING! DING! DING!
"Don't Die Digging" by Graduate plays as Jessica Rose comes running out, excited and pumped for her match.
London Morris: The following singles match is scheduled for one fall-
Crowd: ONE FALL!
London Morris: First! From Leeds, England! Weighing in at 121 lbs! “The Shining Light” Jessica Rose!
Melissa Flash: After Sugar & Spice lost their match in the Lethal 500 due to miscommunication, Sidney Knight had decided to take out her frustrations on her tag team partner!
Kat Ricci: Despite the betrayal, Jess is still putting on a good face for the crowd here. She’s been doing sufficiently well for her singles run. Maybe taking a break from the tag team scene would do her some good.
Melissa Flash: Whatever she does next, she’ll need to put this behind her.
As Jessica gets into the ring, "This Is The New Shit" by Marilyn Manson starts to play as Sidney Knight walks out, her fists tightened.
“Her opponent! From London, England, United Kingdom! Weighing in at 125 lbs! “The Royal Rebel” Sidney Knight!
Melissa Flash: Sidney has shown no apologizes for what she’s done. Like Jessica, this match is about putting the past behind her.
Kat Ricci: She shouldn’t blame Jessica for a mistake that should be on her shoulders as well.
Melissa Flash: Maybe she sees this as taking responsibility for her actions.
Sidney climbs into the ring and the ref has to separate the two before their emotions explode.
DING! DING! DING!
From the moment the bell rang, both women didn’t hide their disdain from one another. Jessica found herself literally pushed away each time she stepped up to Sidney, demanding answers. Before long, Jessica couldn’t contain her anger and unleashed a stiff roundhouse to the face! She immediately tried to end things with a Tempest Frog Splash, but Sidney interrupted her just in time. With Jess hanging on the turnbuckle, Knight performed a flawless running springboard arm drag to throw her back onto the canvas. She then capitalized with a brutal kick to the face. Rose attempted the gather her bearings, but Sidney went for a quick cover that was easily kicked out of. Sid wasted no time picking up Jessica and hitting a superkick, followed by an enzuigiri. As Jessica fell to a knee, Sidney hit the ropes but missed the basement dropkick. Rose tried to counter but wasn’t fast enough for a Bittersweet Downfall (discus clothesline). Knight goes for another pin, but Jess kicks out at two.
Melissa Flash: Rose was able to get that shoulder up in time. Knight has been taking command of this match! Rose has been a little slow coming out of the gate.
Kat Ricci: She shot herself in the foot trying to end things too early with her finisher. There seems to be a look of desperation in Jessica’s eyes as if she wants to put this behind her as quickly as possible.
Sidney lifted Jessica up by the chin while blaming her for the failure of Sugar & Spice. The Shining Light answered with a spin kick, followed by a Brazillian Roundhouse Kick. She whipped Sidney to the ropes who held on as Jessica jumped out to the ring apron. After a brief struggle, Rose pulled Sidney down, forcing her head to hang off the edge as Rose delivered a vicious bicycle kick to the face! Jess wasted no time sliding back into the ring to hit a Super Driver Kick (Superkick to a kneeling opponent)! After several more kicks to the face, a furious Jessica eyes Sidney, who stumbled into the corner. She races across the ring and hits a flying dropkick. As Sidney stumbles across the ring, Jessica lifts Sidney over her shoulder in preparation for her Wrecking Burst (Fireman's Carry Overhead Kick) signature, but Sidney slips out and rolls Jessica up while grabbing the tights!
ONE….
TWO…
THREE!
DING DING DING
London Morris: Your winner via pinfall, SYDNEY KNIGHT!
Melissa Flash: Sidney Knight gets the surprise upset victory! Jessica can’t believe it!
Kat Ricci: Jessica is trying to tell the ref about the tights, but Sidney has already rolled out of the ring and is heading up the ramp while celebrating! How could she be proud of herself for a win like that!?
Melissa Flash: From the moment the bell rang Sidney wanted to get under Rose’s skin! Something tells me that this isn’t over!
The camera lingers on contrast between Jessica’s surprised reaction and Sidney’s sly grin as she walks backwards up the ramp.
"VORACITY” by Myth and Roid plays as Revy walks out, flanked by her entourage: the representatives from OWA and JET she met on the road to Trifecta. As she walked down she ramp, she stops to look at a guy holding an “Alabama Hot Pocket” sign designed like the “Hot Pockets” logo. She gives a nod and continue on her way to the ring.
Melissa Flash: Once again Revy is up at bat. April Song is giving her another chance to win the Lethal Specialist Championship.
Kat Ricci: She’s been in this business for several years now, and despite coming close several times, she’s always falling short. You can tell that it’s been getting to her.
Melissa Flash: Well she has one more shot to get it right.
Revy climbs into the ring and climbs the corner turnbuckle with her fists raised high. As her song faded, "Message To God" by Royal Hunt plays as April walked out with the Lethal Specialist Championship over her shoulder. She poses on stage with the belt before making her way down to the ring.
Melissa Flash: For 316 days April Song has reigned as the Lethal Specialist Champion. For 316 days its been her playground!
Kat Ricci: She’s showing no signs of slowing down, either! If She successfully defends her title tonight, then there’s a chance she might surpass the 365 day mark.
Melissa Flash: For April Song it’s all about legacy. For Revy, it’s all about “catching them all.” Well this isn’t Pokemon sweetheart, it’s pro wrestling. And April Song is about to demonstrate the difference.
April climbs into the ring and raise her title as London Morris began the announcement.
London Morris: The following match is a Last Woman Standing Match for the Lethal Specialist Championship! Two wrestlers fight until one of them is knocked out or unable to fight anymore. The referee must count to ten while the wrestler is laying down and the last woman standing wins the match! First, the challenger! From Houston, TX! Weighing in at 122 lbs…”The Brilliant Brawler” REVY!
The crowd cheers as Revy displayed a bit of shadow boxing.
London Morris: Her opponent! From Colorado Springs, Colorado! Weighing in at 120 lbs! She is your Lethal Specialist Champion...APRIL “KILLER BEE” SONG!
April raised her title with both hands before giving it to the ref.
DING! DING! DING!
The match started off with several failed lock-up attempts from April as Revy immediately shrugged off The Killer Bee’s advances. Revy dodges a flying knee and grapples Song into a corner, unleashing a multitude of shoulder thrusts to the gut. April fights back with several strikes to the face while forcing them to switch positions. Both women lay into the ropes unleashing a series of back and forth forearms, determined to take each other out. April gets the upper hand with a combination of uppercuts and knees to gut, leaving Revy stunned against the ropes. April attempts to pull her hair, but Revy whips her to the opposite end and leaps on top of her with a Thesz Press upon the rebound. April attempts to cover herself up from the barrage of mounted punches which proves to be futile as Revy lays waste to her opponent. April ducks a running lariat, hits the ropes, and caught her opponent off balance with a chop block. She attempts to grab the legs for a Boston Crab, but Revy kicks her away and rolls to the outside.
Melissa Flash: April seems to be on autopilot as she scrambles to the feet and bounces off the ropes. Is she-
Kat Ricci: Baseball Slide! No! Revy has trapped her in the ring apron cover! April has nowhere to go! She’s helpless as Revy tries to beat her senseless!
Melissa Flash: This is clever thinking from The Brilliant Brawler!
April could barely fight back as Revy laid into her without hesitation. The champion was left in a dazed state as Revy walks away, giving the ref some time to check on her. Unconcerned with the count, Revy pulled out a series of chairs from underneath the ring. Meanwhile, April gathered her bearings and headed over to Revy, who didn’t see her coming. The Professional grabbed her by the hair and slammed her against the ring apron. A stunned Revy reacted by pushing April away. When the champ tried again, Revy countered by throwing her into the steel steps! Looking down at a vulnerable April Song holding her back, Revy laughed and pointed at the Specialist Championship as the ref began his count. April was able to get to her feet and returned with favor by going on the offensive with several forearms and whipped Revy into another set of stairs around the corner. The ref began his count for Revy, who had a hard time getting to her feet. The champ simply grinned and shook her head, telling Revy to stay down.
Melissa Flash: April is daring Revy to stay where she’s at! She’s warning her that there will be more violence to come if she wishes to stay in this match!
Kat Ricci: Oddly enough I think that’s almost exciting for Revy who’s getting to her feet, forcing the ref to stop the count. Wait! April’s already on her! She’s slamming her face against the steel steps!! Wait she’s not done…
As Revy leaned against the stairs, dizzy, April dragged out a trash can from underneath the ring. Seeing Revy roll back into the ring, April tossed the can over the ropes and slid into the ring. As the crowd shouted “L-A-W” in the background, Song slammed the trash can over Revy and started kicking it with wild abandon. Revy was trapped inside the can to fight back in any way as the final kick knocked her over onto the canvas! April was nowhere near finished as she lifted Revy up and started firing off several kicks again! She picked her up one more time and rallied the crowd as she climbed up the nearest turnbuckle, and leaped! The crowd went nuts as April landed a Bee Stinger (diving double-foot stomp) on top of the trash can! As Revy hit the canvas with a thud, the trash slipped from out of her body. With Revy seemingly down for the count, the ref began their count:
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
FIVE!
SIX!
SEVEN!
EIGHT!
Revy was able to get to her feet, annoyed by the fans’ chat of “Su-per Ma-rio!” in reference to April’s Bee Stomp spot. Speaking of which, The Killer Bee was already on her, and delivered knee strike after knee strike in the clinch, determined to take out her target. When Revy dropped to a knee, April ran to the ropes and came back with an amazing flying European uppercut! With Revy lying on the canvas, April went back outside where she threw in several chairs from under the ring. When she tried to throw in the third one, Revy desperately grabbed on and attempted to pry it from Song’s hands. April stumbled backwards into the barricade from the ensuing struggle, which allowed Revy to perform a plancha over the ropes, but ended up face-to-face with April’s foot via Widowmaker (Inverted stomp facebreaker). As a replay showed the incredible counter, April stood several feet away, watching the ref count out Revy for a second time.
Melissa Flash: The champ is in rare for tonight! Revy tries to keep up, but Song has answer for anything she brings to the table!
Kat Ricci: Revy’s struggling to get back to her feet, but each time she makes it, April’s kicking her back down! She’s now got her on the apron- wait! Revy’s fighting back! She has Song on her shoulders! STUN GUN! APRIL’S NECK HITS THE ROPES AS SHE’S THROWN BACK INTO THE RING!
Revy wasted no time climbing back into the squared circle. While April used the ropes to get back to her feet, Revy stacked several chairs on top of each other. Song made her way over to the corner to regain her balance. Revy walked over and unleashed a flurry of mudhole stomps, forcing April off her feet. With the champ rolling along the canvas, Revy climbed to the top turnbuckle. The champ denied her challenger a chance for a high-risk maneuver by attacking her before she could leap. Revy tried to get down, but April scored a hit with a BRUTAL European uppercut! With Revy slumped over the turnbuckle, April THREW HER OFF INTO THE PILE OF CHAIRS! Revy howled in pain, while holding her lower back! As the crowd chanted “Holy Shit!” the ref began another count:
ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
FIVE!
SIX!
Melissa Flash: Revy is back on her feet! The two are going back and forth with stiff forearms! Revy’s got the best of April! She’s a damn machine! OH MY GOD! FALCON ARROW ON THE PILE OF CHAIRS!!
Kat Ricci: The champ took all of that! She’s not moving either! Revy may have this won!
Crowd: THIS IS AWE-SOME! *clap-clap clap-clap-clap*
Both women were in pain as they laid on the canvas with a count-out looming over them. The fans were split down the middle at this point, cheering on both competitors. Revy’s was up first and whipped Song to the ropes, connecting with a Savate Kick on the rebound. She picked April and slammed her down with a nasty deadlift DDT! As the ref started his count, Revy urged for April to get to her feet. She didn’t want to finish her off just yet. She sat April up and delivered the Three Count (Running knee strike to the face of a seated opponent). As the ref began the count, Revy slid outside to grab the Lethal Specialist Championship. April got up to her feet near the eight count and as Revy attempted to attack her with the belt, she instinctively countered with a roundhouse kick to the belt, knocking it into her face. Revy was seemingly knocked out as the ref proceeded counting once more:
ONE!
Melissa Flash: That belt collided with Revy’s face and she might be done for!
TWO!
Kat Ricci: She took a gamble to attack April with her own belt and it blew up in her face!
THREE!
Melissa Flash: April looks like she doesn’t have much left in the tank herself. Both women are going to have to find a way to end this.
FOUR!
Kat Ricci: Revy is getting up! She’s gingerly getting back to her feet!
FIVE!
April charged at Revy who countered with a back body drop, but April landed on the ring apron. She noticed the pile of chairs Revy had taken out earlier, so she attempted a suplex to the outside, but Revy would budge. She snapped April’s neck onto the ropes, and slid underneath to the outside floor. Before she could react, Revy hoisted her upon her shoulders and SLAMMED HER WITH A POWERBOMB THROUGH THE CHAIR PILE! With the champ seemingly lifeless, both commentators began to lose their mind as the crowd echoed their sentiments. Revy leaned against the apron, satisfied with her handiwork as the ref checked on a near lifeless April. Revy casually sat on the apron as the ref was halfway through the count. Her expression soon turned to surprise though as she saw April dig deeper to get to her feet just after the nine count!
Melissa Flash: YOU GOTTA BE KIDDING ME! HOW IN THE HELL DOES SHE STILL HAVE IT IN HER!
Kat Ricci: Remember what April had said! She wants to go a year as the Lethal Specialist Champion! She wants dominate the division and prove why she is the best champion of all time! In order to do that, you have to be hungry! You have to be willing to do whatever it takes!
Revy was nearly in tears as she stared at her rival in disbelief! April struggled to stay on her feet as she leaned against the barricade. Having enough, Revy dragged her up the ramp, but not without resistance as April fought her with everything she had. The two women began to trade blows, but April landed a stiff forearm, knocking Revy off the ramp. The Brawler crashed against some production equipment, but she was still standing. Giving a loud war cry, April leaped off the ramp to connect with a desperate diving crossbody! Both women crashed into the equipment again, but somehow it was still intact. While April waited in the corner, the ref began his count once more. As the ref reached the eight count, a staggering Revy was standing again. Sensing the end, April charged at her but-
Melissa Flash: TOE KICK! RECOIL!!! RECOIL!!! APRIL’S LAID OUT FROM THAT STUNNER! THERE’S NO WAY SHE’S GETTING UP FROM THAT!!!
Kat Ricci: Revy has it in the bag! All she needs to do is wait it out and that belt is- huh? What is she doing!? Why is she lifting April back on her feet! She’s placing the champ onto the production equipment...Revy...Revy what are you up to? You have the match won! April is out of it!
Melissa Flash: Revy’s climbing back up to the stage! She’s walking over and getting a ladder!? Revy’s pulling the ladder onto the stage! She’s trying to open it over the production table...Revy!? She’s climbing! She’s climbing to the top of the ladder! What the hell is she thinking!? Uh oh...she’s-
Kat Ricci: HOUSTON HANGOVER!!!! OH MY GOD SHE LANDED ON THE CHAMP AND THEY WENT CRASHING THROUGH THE PRODUCTION EQUIPMENT! BACKUP MELISSA! THERE’S SPARKS EVERYWHERE!
Crowd: HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT! HOLY SHIT!
A replay shows Revy performing her finishing somersault leg drop off the ladder to April, forcing the equipment to fall apart, resulting in a near explosive reaction!
Ref/Crowd: ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
FOUR!
FIVE!
SIX!
SEVEN!
Melissa Flash: Revy’s getting up! She’s pulling herself up! She’s barely got anything left!
EIGHT!
NINE!
Kat Ricci: She’s standing!
TEN!
DING DING DING
London Morris: Your winner...and NEW Lethal Specialist Champion….REVY!!!!!
Melissa Flash: OH MY GOD SHE DID IT! REVY HAS FINALLY DEFEATED APRIL SONG!
Kat Ricci: In fact she’s the first woman in nearly a year to do so! Look at the fans, they’re on their feet right now!
Melissa Flash: Man, I know Song is going to be upset when she comes to, but she has nothing to be ashamed of! Regardless of title, she was the modern LAW’s greatest champion!
Kat Ricci: Well we’ll see how April takes this loss in the weeks to come. Fornow, CONGRATS TO REVY!
The camera follows a joyous Revy as she runs off the stage with the Lethal Specialist Championship and dives into the crowd. She wraps an arm around the “Alabama Hot Pocket” sign guy and kisses him on the cheek.
“DEVIL” by Shinedown played as Roni de Vil walked out with a look of determination on her face.
Melissa Flash: Roni de Vil’s been waiting for this rematch for quite some time. After losing the LAW Championship back at Homecoming, she’s made it her mission to get it back.
Kat Ricci: The former Sweet Winters have interfered with those plans throughout this entire season so far. Now it’s time for her to get some payback!
Roni climbed into the ring and started preparing herself. As her theme music faded, “Money” by Pink Floyd played as Kayla Winters walked out with the Lethal Championship across her waist
Melissa Flash: Speaking of people looking for payback, Kayla Winters is dead set on getting her hands on Sweet Roxy.
Kat Ricci: Roxy’s whereabouts must be lingering in the back of her mind. She’s been playing mind games with the champ since Trifecta. I wouldn’t put it past her if she holds resentment for Kayla stealing her thunder when she won the Lethal Angel Championship back at Homecoming.
Melissa Flash: I guess Roxy doesn’t consider the screw job she gave Kayla to be equal justice.
Kat Ricci: Justice in Roxy’s mind is her with the LAW Championship around her waist.
Kayla climbs into the ring and stands face-to-face with Roni. There is a brief separation between the two as the ref intervenes.
London Morris: The following match is scheduled for one fall-
Crowd: ONE FALL!
London Morris: And it is for the Lethal Angel Championship! First, the challenger! She hails from Hawthrone, CA! Weighing in at 128 lbs..."The Iron Orcus" Roni de Vil!
Roni raised two fists in the air as the fans cheered.
London Morris: Her opponent! From Malibu, CA! Weighing in at 160 lbs! She is your Lethal Angel Champion…”The Hybrid Wrestling Machine” KAYLA! WINTERS!
Kayla raised her title in the air before handing it off to the ref.
DING! DING! DING!
From the moment the bell rang, both women locked-up in the center of the squared circle. Roni scored a headlock in an attempt to control the pace of the match. Kayla whipped her towards the ropes and struck a leaping shoulder block upon rebound. The Champ proceeded to pull Roni into a headlock of her own, but de Vil easily countered into a rolling arm wrench inside cradle. Winters broke away but got knocked senseless by a jumping corkscrew roundhouse kick! Roni immediately went for a cover, but Kayla kicked out after one. Roni tried to keep up the momentum, but a dropkick from out of nowhere knocked her to the outside. The Champ took the fight out to ringside where there was a back and forth brawl. Roni seemed to get the better of the brawl and rolled Kayla back into the ring. She slid back into the ring and applied a shoulder lock to a seated Kayla in an attempt to slow things down. Winters’ sheer power paid off though, and Roni found herself lifted over Kayla’s shoulder and slammed onto the canvas by a thunderous scoop powerslam! Meanwhile…
Kat Ricci: Look who finally decided to show herself…
Melissa Flash: It’s Sweet Roxy! You would have to be a fool to think that she wouldn’t make her presence known tonight!
Kat Ricci: She picked a good time too - right in the middle of the Lethal Angel Championship match!
Neither Kayla or Roni noticed Roxy standing on the ramp, halfway towards the ring. The pink-haired troublemaker seemed keen on keeping her distance away from her former tag partner, who tried to pin Roni after a successful snap swinging neck breaker. De Vil kicked out, but it didn’t deter The Champ who deadlifted Roni over her shoulder. It was then she noticed Roxy waving at her, which gave Roni enough time to slip out from behind and score a kick to the back of the leg! Roxy laughed as Kayla dropped to a knee just in time to receive a Silver Bullet II (Running big boot to a kneeling opponent). Roni made the lateral press, but Kayla kicks out at two. She took a moment to glance at Roxy, who still remained on the ramp, seemingly cheering Roni on. The challenger simply shook her head and focused on finishing things with Starlighter’s Echo (Crossface chickenwing w/ body scissors)! Kayla struggled to get free, but Roni had locked in tight. Roxy moved a little closer to the ring, mocking the champion from the outside. Enraged, Kayla fought out of the hold and got to her feet, motivated by vengeance. She hit the ropes and connects running crossbody. She lifted Roni’s legs for the pin, but the challenger easily kicked out. Both women get to their feet, and Roni lands a surprise roundhouse, followed by a switchblade kick. It’s Roni’s turn for a pin attempt, but Kayla kicks out with ease.
Melissa Flash: This match is taking a lot out of Kayla, and perhaps Roni too.
Kat Ricci: It’s been pretty even so far, but with Roxy hanging out ringside, what’s going to happen?
Roni attempts another Starlighter’s Echo, but Kayla backs her into the corner. Roni strikes back with a rope-assisted front dropkick to the upper back! Kayla fell face-first into the canvas! Seeing the champion get to her feet, Roni hits the ropes but found herself on the receiving end of a nasty spinebuster! Roni fought to get back to her feet, but was knocked back down by a running clothesline! Fueled by adrenaline, Roni jumped to her feet, but was knocked off course again by a leaping shoulder block! Kayla goes for another pin, but de Vil is holding on to the ropes! Kayla dragged Roni to the center of the ring and deadlifted her into a Fireman's Carry Gutbuster, but Roni slipped out from the back and attempted a third Starlighter’s Echo. She succeeded but Kayla elbows her way out of the submission! She runs to the ropes and lands the Special K (Spear)! The crowd is on their feet as she makes the cover!
ONE!
TWO!
TH-
Melissa Flash: The ref just stopped the count- he’s telling Kayla that Roni’s foot was on the ropes! The Champ can’t believe it! She’s staring back in disbelief!
Kat Ricci: Judging from the look on Sweet Roxy’s face, I’d wager she had something to do with it-
Melissa Flash: SPECIAL K! Kayla just launched herself through the ropes at Sweet Roxy! She’s on top, letting her have it! Ever since Roxy’s interference at Trifecta, she’s been wanting to get her hands on her! The ref is calling for the bell Roxy herself is fighting back!
DING! DING! DING!
Melissa Flash: The match has been ruled a no contest, but the action is far from over! Roxy managed to break away and is now racing up the ramp with Kayla in hot pursuit! She’s chasing her through the back! Our cameras are trying to follow the action backstage! Roxy heads around a corner- OH MY GOD! She comes back out of nowhere with a fire extinguisher upside the head! Kayla is down, knocked out cold!
Sweet Roxy: You should cool off for a second!
Melissa Flash: Roxy is spraying Kayla with the extinguisher! Officials are trying to stop her but she’s already on the run again! We were having ourselves one hell of a contest and once again that pest ruins things!
Kat Ricci: Madam Vega needs to take care of this situation because I doubt this is ending anytime soon. Just look at Roni who’s still in the ring. She’s hurt but you can see the frustrated look in her eyes. Her chance at redemption was taken from her.
London Morris: Ladies and Gentlemen, it is now time for the final match in the Lethal Five Hundred tournament and it is scheduled for one fall!
Introducing team number one!!
(The thrumming beat of Blacktop Mojo’s “Burn the ships echos throughout the arena as both Amy Slayton and Marika Reimon step out onto the entrance way. Amy throws her arms out to the sides as she throws her head back in a tribute to her father’s signature pose as Marika simply undoes the sash to her ring robes and slithers out of it)
Announcer: Hailing from Tokyo Japan and representing Joshi Extreme Takeover at a total combined weight of two hundred and fifty one pounds. They are the team of Marika Reimon and Amy Slayton...the Black HEARTS!!!
(Both women continue making their way to the ring with Amy looking rather confident about something while Marika taunts the fans at ringside)
Melissa: Now this is going to be a match of the year for us here Lethal Angels of Wrestling, ladies and gentlemen, because we are about to have ourselves not only a match that puts three members of the same family of wrestlers against each other but also it is the members of the Slayton family!
Kat: Yeah, it’s going to be a barn burner for sure since both Amy and Marika are multiple time champions elsewhere but their opponents are two of the fastest up and comers on the international women’s wrestling scene.
(Amy moves to the center of the ring with her arms crossed over her chest while Marika moves to her team’s corner as “Burn the Ships” suddenly shifts to “Confident” (Nightcore version) by Demi Lovato as the fans starts to explode in cheers as Celes Dumont steps out onto the entrance way with a look of utter and complete seriousness on her painted face before she points behind her as as masked Io Ishimori steps out onto the entrance ramp with Yoshi-San in her arms at which point the crowds explode even louder with cheers as Celes’ face break into a hard smile)
Announcer: And their opponents, weighing in tonight at a total combined weight of two hundred and sixty four pounds. The are escorted to the ring by the GREAT AND POWERFUL YOSHI SAN!! They are the team of the “Queen of Goths” Io Ishimori and the “Death Dealer” Celes Dumont!!!
(Both women make their way down to the ring, Celes shucking out of her ring jacket while Io places Yoshi-San in his corner spot while placing her signature mask onto his face before both women get into the ring where Deanna makes sure that everyone doesn’t do anything)
Kat: Deanna is making sure that nothing crazy happens until the bell rings.
Melissa: Yeah, with these four women in the ring good luck with that!
(Once Deanna is sure that everyone knows what is what, she simply calls for the bell)
*DING* *DING*!!!
(All four women in the ring just stand there and look at each other for a few seconds before Amy moves to stand before her younger cousin, points at her and then the mat)
Kat: Is Amy Slayton actually telling her opponent, her own FAMILY, to lay down and let her get the win?
Melissa: I do believe so.
(Amy does this a couple of more times, each time with a bit more anger in her voice at which point Celes looks over at Io who shrugs in return before both LAW wrestlers drill their JET counterparts with several stiff forearm shots as this match gets under way with Celes going toe to toe with Amy while Io gets into her fellow countrywoman Marika’s face with Io knocking the two of them to the outside while Celes and Amy start trading ever increasingly stiffer blows before finally Amy gets a knee strike into Celes’ stomach and tries to toss her over the top rope but instead of going under, Celes grabs the top rope and flips back over and drills Amy with a powerful Enzu-lariat from behind, knocking the older woman head over heels!!)
Melissa: And we are off in one of the most physical matches on this card tonight I think!
Kat: I can’t believe that Amy Slayton tried to force Celes and Io into laying down so that her team could get the win in this tournament, Melissa.
Melissa: I can, Kat, and the reason for that is because right now both Amy and Marika are frustrated with how things have been going for them over in JET. I mean Amy went from being a block leader in their recent tournament over there to having a multi match losing spree and everyone kept throwing it in her face.
Kat: So she was hoping that this tournament would be her saving grace?
(Celes quickly moves over to start hauling her cousin up only for Amy to quickly grab her and attempt a school boy roll up but Celes instead is able to continue the roll into a sitting Octopus hold where Celes takes Amy’s right hand and starts to twist the older woman’s fingers in an attempt to get the submission win early in this match but instead she gets drilled with a snap shoot kick to her face from Marika who has quickly re-entered the ring and moves to help separate her partner from Celes before heading over to her corner.)
(At this point Celes shakes off the shot to her face and starts to head over to where Io is in their corner at Amy quickly scrambles and manages to snag Celes’ right ankle but Celes is able to slap Io’s fingers which Deanna acknowledges as a tag but Amy doesn’t care as she yanks her young cousin backwards while Io climbs the top turnbuckle and when Amy hits a bridging German suplex on Celes, before Deanna can force the break, Io comes off of the top turnbuckle with a diving foot stomp which forces Amy to break the hold as Celes rolls to the outside while Io quickly gets back up to her feet and then stomps on Amy’s bent right arm, causing the “Hyper Technician” to scream out in pain as she quickly rolls over to her corner which Marika then tags herself in and then attempts to do a springboard slingshot dropkick on Io who steps to the side, while grabbing Marika’s outstretched leg and hits a dragon screw leg whip on her before going for a pin attempt but Marika kicks out before the pin count can be started!)
Melissa: All four of these women are really busting out everything that they have in this match.
Kat: Well considering that the winning team gets a shot at whomever is the tag team champions in the aftermath of that match later on the card, can you blame them?
Melissa: Not at all, Kat, not at all.
(Marika does a kip up to get back to her feet before Io and then Marika is in the younger woman’s face with a series of chops, kicks, forearms, and punches that drives Io into the corner but Deanna quickly gets between the two women and forces Marika back a little bit but instead Marika simply twists around her and goes right back to laying down a good series of blows onto Io before grabbing her and tossing into the far turnbuckles at which point Marika tries for her infamous “Cannon Spike” finish but instead, Io is able to move out of the way which causes Marika to hit the ropes for a moment and Io starts to lay down several stiff kicks to Marika’s back before the older Joshi manages to tag Io in the throat with an elbow strike, gets herself out of the ropes and then picks her up then hits one vertical suplex after another before hauling Io up, makes like she’s “cutting” Io’s throat before hitting an STO backbreaker on Io, then lifting her up into a Complete Shot then rolling through with the move into a Koji clutch for the pin)
ONE….TTWWOOO...TTTHHH….
(Io manages to get a foot on the ropes that Deanna notices but instead of breaking the hold, Marika quickly shifts her position to drag Io away from the ropes before she quickly locks in an STF before adding in a crossface that causes Io to scream out in sudden pain as Marika adds a little bit more torque to her move as she yanks back on Io’s head, snapping at her in Japanese angrly)
Kat: In less than a minute we have seen Marika Reimon hit three of her major signature moves in sequence in an attempt to cause as much harm to the younger Io as possible. She opened with the Triangle of Terror before throwing in the Psycho Crusher for spice with just a hint of sweet pain with the Jagged Edge there!!
Melissa: Well someone has been doing her homework, but having said that Marika is showing why she is one of the veterans in this match by hitting so many high impact moves at once before attempting this fearsome submission.
Kat: Exactly, she chose moves that would allow her to perfectly apply pressure to the right locations of her opponent’s body in order to make the Jagged Edge there work extra.
(Io’s face is scrunched up in pain as Marika continues to wrench back on Io’s neck, shoulders, and back but somehow, the “Queen of Goths” refuses to submit and as the minutes draw on in the match, she finally manages to get a hand free just enough to grab the back of Marika’s hair and start yanking it hard enough that makes Marika herself scream in what first sounds to be pleasure before it quickly descends into pain at which point Deanna comes around forces Marika to break the hold as she gets up and slowly moves over to her corner while Io works to get to hers. Io is up on one leg while Marika quickly tags in her partner and the two women stalk towards Io with every intent on finishing the match when they both go for a double German suplex but Io is able to flip out of that and when they attempt to go for a double superkick instead, she ducks and rolls under that and quickly tags in Celes who then hits a slingshot spear onto Marika that practically launches her out of the ring before Celes gets right into the face of Amy and the two women start to trade stiff blows again)
Kat: I think that we might be either seeing the tail end of this match or the beginning of something worse!!
(Amy finally has enough of things, quickly kicks Celes in the stomach before bending Celes backwards as she calls for the “Devil’s Dance” but instead Celes manages to switch things around and manages to quickly hit her Angel’s Touch signature before she quickly tags Io before she picks up Amy and lifts her up into a piledriver position while Io quickly goes and hits a double jump moonsault at which point spikes Celes’ tombstone piledriver, Celes moves out of the way to prevent Marika from getting involved as Io goes for the pin)
ONE….TTWWOO...TTTHHHRRREEEEEE!!!
*DING* *DING*!!!
Announcer: Ladies and Gentlemen, the winners of this match and the Lethal Five Hundred tournament...the team of Io Ishimori and Celes Dumont!!!
(Celes drops down to her knees while Deanna holds up Io’s hand in victory, a proud smile crosses the “Death Dealer”s face as she sees it mirrored on Io’s face as well)
Kat: Now we know who will be facing off against the winners of the Sexy Hendrix and Dynamic Duo match later on tonight for the tag team titles.
Melissa: Very true Kat, this match could have gone either way due to the levels of experience that all four women had coming into this match. Especially with a skilled veteran like Amy Slayton.
“Lemon” by N.E.R.D. plays as Serenity Scorpio & Jocelyn Sky - Dynamic Duo - walk onto the stage to much fanfare. The duo gave each other a fist bump before making their way down the ramp.
Melissa Flash: The Lethal Tag Team Championship has eluded Dynamic Duo for quite some time. Jocelyn Sky has found success with the Lethal Specialist Championship, but both her and Serenity want an accomplish they can share as a unit.
Kat Ricci: Well they sent out the challenge and the champs accepted. Now it’s time for them to fulfill their promise of becoming champions!
As Dynamic Duo entered the ring, "Neon" by Jeff Williams and Casey Lee Williams started playing. Jessica Hendrix and “Big Sexy” Santana walked out with the Lethal Tag Team Championships over their shoulders with Frankie trailing behind. As they made their way to the ring, they had a brief staredown with their opponents.
Melissa Flash: These two got the surprise victory over the Sakaraba Sisters after winning the Sadie Hawkins battle royal, and now they face off against a team that has been waiting for a chance for quite some time.
Kat Ricci: You can see the hungry looks in the eyes of Dynamic Duo. They’ve been waiting for this opportunity for quite some time.
Hendrix and Santana entered the ring, holding their belts up high as announcer London Morris was about to speak.
London Morris: The following tag match is scheduled for one fall, and it is for the LETHAL TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP! First, here are the challengers! At a combined weight of 236 lbs! Jocelyn Sky! Serenity Scorpio! The Dynamic Duo!!
Serenity jumps on a turnbuckle while Jocelyn waves to the crowd.
London Morris: Their opponents! At a combined weight of 382 lbs...your Lethal Tag Team Champions...JESSICA HENDRIX! “BIG SEXY” SANTANA!!!
The crowd goes wild as the champions raise their titles once more. They pass the belts on to the ref and prepare for the match.
DING! DING! DING!
Jocelyn Sky and Jessica Hendrix decided to start things off for their respective teams. Jocelyn quickly grabbed Jessica in a headlock who whipped her to the ropes Jessica forced Jocelyn to leap over her by dropping down, leapfrogged afterward, and attempted a crossbody that Jocelyn saw coming. She caught Hendrix in her arms and the two rolled on the mat. Jocelyn lifted Jess to her feet and connected with a jawbreaker. She proceeded to tag in Serenity and the two hit a double superkick, knocking Hendrix out of the ring. The Dynamic Duo prepared themselves to perform dual suicide dives, but Santana quickly cut them off with a double clothesline. As the ref started to count out Jessica, Dynamic Duo go to their feet and started teaming up against Santana. The larger combatant tried to hold them off on her own, but their constant striking forced her into a corner. They brought her out the corner, Irish whipped her and flew in the air for a double flying clothesline. There was a mixed response from the audience who felt torn between the two teams.
Melissa Flash: Dynamic Duo is putting their experience to good use! They isolated Jessica so they could focus on arguably the most dangerous member of the opposition, Big Sexy!
Kat Ricci: Regardless, Jessica is the legal woman! They’ll need to deal with her sooner or later. Santana is back on her feet - ANOTHER TWIN SUPERKICK AND SANTANA IS KNOCKED OUT OF THE RING!
Surprisingly, Serenity and Jocelyn waited in the ring for their opponents. Jessica helped Santana to her feet and along with Frankie, they had a small discussion before returning to their team’s side of the ring. Just as they were about to climb up the apron, Dynamic Duo assaulted them with dual wrecking ball dropkicks! They proceeded to continue their assault ringside where they laid into their opponents with several shots to the face before rolling them back into the ring. When they lid under the ropes, Jessica and Santana retaliated by stomping on their opponents mercilessly. The ref was at a loss for words as he tried to assert control over both sides of the ring. Serenity threw Jessica to the outside again, and Dynamic Duo continued their assault on Santana, kicking at her legs to knock the bigger woman down. She grabbed Jocelyn and pushed her into Serenity before retreating back to the outside where she met5 up with her partner. Watching Dynamic Duo closely, the two discussed another strategy.
Melissa Flash: It looks like Scorpio & Sky has their number! They seem to have an answer for everything the reigning champs try to throw at them this in this match!
Kat Ricci: Playing the isolation game is throwing Hendrix and Santana off their rhythm. The best approach would be to restore this match back to a normal format. Deal with these women one at a time rather than try to fight fire with fire.
Walking to separate ends of the ring, Hendrix slid into the ring while Santana climbed on her team’s side and stood on the apron. Jessica ducked a clothesline from Jocelyn and nailed Serenity with a dropkick, who promptly rolled to the outside. With both legal women in the ring, the ref focused on the action at hand. As Jessica and Jocelyn circled each lother, Hendrix quickly disengaged and tagged in Santana who eagerly climbed into the rin. The two locked up, but Santana used her strength to take control of the hold, twisting her opponent’s arm without an ounce of mercy. With each arm wringer, Santana drove an elbow to the arm. Jocelyn reversed the hold with a hammerlock and started attacking the shoulder. “Big Sexy” used her body weight to push Jocelyn in the corner, unleashing a series of knife-edge chops to the chest. The momentum started to build when she whipped Jocelyn like a ragdoll to the opposing corner and flew like a missile to connect with a corner splash! Worried about her partner, Serenity shouted out words of encouragement. Jocelyn stumbled around, dazed from Santana’s onslaught, but recovered quickly enough to land a roundhouse to the face, followed by an enzuigiri!
Melissa Flash: Jocelyn is lighting Santana up like a Christmas tree!
Kat Ricci: Santana’s down! Jocelyn leaps for the tag and Serenity is in the ring! Springboard moonsault! Santana easily kicks out of the pin attempt, but you can tell she’s getting winded!
Santana rocked Serenity with a desperate European Uppercut once both women were on their feet. As Serenity was Irish whipped to the ropes, Hendrix connected with a rope-assisted kick to the back. Scorpio fell to the mat, but in a fit of rage, she knocked Jessica off the apron. Sensing opportunity, Santana brings her down with a running DDT. Instinctively, Serenity rolls to the outside where she’s greeted by a surprise Superkick courtesy of Hendrix! Meanwhile, Jocelyn climbs into the ring and started brawling with Santana. The ref separates the two and informs Jocelyn that she has to go back to her side. Jessica rolls Serenity back into the ring, allowing Santana to throw her into a corner and lay into her with several stiff elbows followed by Ring the Bell (3 jabs to an opponent before doing a little sexy dance and hitting a big right-hand punch to opponents jaw). With Serenity slumped in the corner, Santana pulled her out from the corner and placed the nail in the coffin with Splashdown (Corner Slingshot Splash)!
Melissa Flash: Santana has the pin!!!
ONE!
Kat Ricci: Jocelyn’s coming in for the save!
TWO!
Melissa Flash: SUPERKICK FROM HENDRIX!!! JOCELYN’S DOWN!!
THREE!
DING! DING! DING!
London Morris: Your winners and STILL the Lethal Tag Team Champions... JESSICA HENDRIX and “BIG SEXY” SANTANA!!
Melissa Flash: That teamwork towards the end of this match! Both Jessica and Santana has proven to be reigning and defending champions in their own right!
Kat Ricci: Things looked a bit rocky at first, but turning the isolation game back onto Dynamic Duo paid off!
Melissa Flash: Well with this now behind them, they have another thing to worry about - speak of the devil…
As Hendrix, Santana, and Frankie celebrate in the ring, Celes Dumont and Io Ishimori walk out, holding up the Lethal 500 trophy. The tag champions pause their celebration to hold up their titles, showing the opposition that they’re ready to take them on, anytime, anywhere. The camera pulls back to show the two teams staring each other down as it fades to black.
