Midori Miyamoto took a seat. Her match had long since passed. She’d had the time to change out of her ring gear, shower, and dress back in her street clothes. A reporter from Big Fight Online Mag soon approached her. He gave her quick greeting before he asked Midori a question—how grueling is a tournament such as the RISE Grand Prix?
Midori Miyamoto: I believe the tournament is very grueling on two fronts. First, you’ve got the physical side. The matches? They’ve been intense all around. And due to the altered schedule, we have those intense matches for frequently. Second, this tournament is grueling on the mind…
She paused for a moment.
Midori Miyamoto: This tournament tests a person’s will to endure. Will they fight through everything and endure? Will there struggles weigh them down? Will they pick themselves up after being knocked down? These was the answers that each wrestler faces.
The reporter nodded before he asked Midori how she was fairing on the mental front. Midori let out a sigh.
Midori Miyamoto: I’d be lying if I told you that I wasn’t frustrated. I’d be lying if I said I didn’t feel like I’ve been letting people down…
She shook her head.
Midori Miyamoto: That being said, I can’t let that frustration eat away at me too much. I can’t let that frustration cripple me. Yeah, I know I don’t have the best point total right now. But fortunately, this tournament isn’t over yet. There’s plenty of time to turn things around.
The reporter thanked Midori for her time. Afterwards, she got up and walked down the hall as the scene faded out.
