Nothing but a black screen starts the show as we open in a darkened wrestling, not sure where we are at. Soon we see clips of past winners of the RISE Grand Prix, all of them hurt and bandaged from the grueling tour but prevailing in the end. A focus is shown how this tournament has changed the career of so many of the winners.
“Nine rounds all within 5 and a half weeks. RISE Grand Prix is made to see who can survive the treacherous tour. And now two women are left to fight for the biggest prize. Both with different pasts but looking to RISE up into the upper echelon of JET’s talent pool."
We first get clips of Mitra Marvel, her struggles to now. Even with the darkest times, a smile on her face as she wanted to win this tournament. On the other side is Kimiko Hayabusa, her early feuds to Ai Moe is shown but also her attempts of getting a big-time win only to falls short. “Kassai” by Sayaka Yamamoto soon plays as we’re shown not just clips of Kimiko Hayabusa and Mitra Marvel but all of the women competing tonight.
“The term RISE doesn’t have a mean outside of telling people to rise up to the occasion and claim their moments. We shall see who will do that tonight? Now Joshi Extreme Takeover and the International Joshi Wrestling Federation proudly present RISE Grand Prix Finals LIVE FROM KOBE WORLD MEMORIAL HALL!"
The video package ends as we get an opening shot of the set here in Kobe, Japan! We soon move to the commentary table as we see Hanako Nakamoto and Maki Fujioka ready to go.
Maki Fujioka: Ladies and Gentlemen, coming to you from the home of Japanese Lucharesu. We bring to you RISE Grand Prix Finals in Kobe World Memorial Hall! As always I am your play-by-play commentator Maki Fujioka and I’m joined by my broadcast colleague, a founder of JET and the winner of the first-ever RISE Grand Prix, “Ironheart” Hanako Nakamoto!
Hanako Nakamoto: Thank you so much, Maki and I am excited tonight! I remember the RISE Grand Prix was simply the RISE Cup and nothing more than a single elimination tournament. Now 12 years later, we have the RISE Grand Prix and this was the biggest tournament ever we have hosted. 20 women participated and now we’re down to the final 2. That’s our main event for tonight, “Pink Princess” Kimiko Hayabusa vs. “Solar Senshi” Mitra Marvel but let’s get to our opening contest! Take it away, Asuka!
We cut to the hard camera as Asuka Kuromachi stands in the middle of the ring with a mic in her hand.
Asuka Kuromachi: The following contest is scheduled for one fall!!
“Cradle of Eternity” by Yuuko Suzohana plays as Yuki Takigawa makes her way out to many cheers from the crowd in attendance tonight. She soon heads over to the front row and hugs her five-year-old son in attendance.
Asuka Kuramochi: Introducing first! From Hamamatsu, Shizuoka, Japan… this is “Moonlight Flash” TAKIGAWA YUKI!!!
Hanako Nakamoto: Our first contest of the evening, Yuki Takigawa vs. Corrina Grey. I’m going to be honest with you, Maki. I feel scared right now, she’s set to step in the ring with a monstrous woman like Corrina Grey. Takigawa has to be prepared for what could be a brutal match for her.
Maki Fujioka: You’re forgetting that Yuki Takigawa is a Former JET World Champion, she’s had years of experience. Along with that, her five-year-old son Shuhei is in attendance to see his mother compete. Takigawa has a great amount of motivation to compete and win here tonight.
“Sick like Me” by In This Moment plays as Corrina Grey wearing a leather jack over her ring gear, makes her way out to a loud negative reception. Grey doesn’t seem to care and simply heads to the ring.
Asuka Kuramochi: And her opponent! From Las Vegas, Nevada… SHE IS “THE SIN CITY KILLER”!! CORRINAAAA!!! GREEEEYYY!!!!
Hanako Nakamoto: This is one frightening woman, Maki. Standing at 5’8 and over 200 pounds, Corrina Grey is one scary woman compared to her size. Her training is also something be scared of as well, a graduate of the Madam Vega’s Wrestling School means she’s a technically sound wrestler as well. Takigawa definitely will have her work cut out for her.
The match begins as there is no formal handshake. Takigawa soon circles around the ring, trying to find an opening of any kind. The former JET World Champ tries to kick at the legs of Grey as it stuns the big woman a bit before Takigawa is shoved away by Corrina. Takigawa is absolutely focused as she rushes back and begins to fire forearms away at Grey. Yuki now rushes the ropes and attempts a running forearm as it barely pushes Grey. She tries again and hits another running forearm but this time Corrina blocks it and hits Takigawa with her own forearm. Takigawa is stunned as she responds with kicks to the left leg, she is trying to chop down the big woman but Corrina just responds by catching the leg and throws Yuki across the ring. Soon Takigawa is getting up to her feet and Corrina taunting her to hit her again.
Hanako Nakamoto: The strategy of kicking Grey’s legs would normally have worked against normal giant wrestlers but I think Corrina isn’t affected by any of that kind of offense. She’s probably used to dealing with strikers.
Takigawa takes a deep breath before attempting to attack again, she ducks a clothesline attempt from Corrina and immediately fires back with shoot kicks towards the right leg of Grey. Takigawa is putting as much force as she can into those kicks and seems to be working this time. She ducks another clothesline from Corrina as her kicks are now directed to the chest of “Sin City Killer”. Takigawa is able to get Corrina now against the ropes as she continues to unleash shoot kicks. Takigawa is finally in control of this match as she’s got Corrina in a corner. Yuki now rushes to the opposite corner and back for a big Yakuza Kick. It connects but Corrina isn’t down. Yuki quickly runs to other side and back again, this time going for a Stinger Splash but CORRINA CATCHES HER OUT OF MIDAIR! Somehow Corrina was able to catch Yuki in a bear hug as she jumped for the Splash. Corrina now with an Over-the-head Belly to Belly Suplex right into the turnbuckles! You can Takigawa in pain as her back collided with the padding.
Maki Fujioka: Did you hear that sound!? Takigawa isn’t supposed to land against the padding like that.
Corrina just carries Yuki to the middle of the ring and goes for a cover. Kickout at two as Grey doesn’t seem bothered at all, she picks up Takigawa and attempted a Flat Liner (Over the Shoulder Belly to Back piledriver) but Takigawa is able to roll Corrina in a pinning predicament. The crowd loudly counting with Ref Hana Oikawa who made the count but Grey kicked out at two. Both got to their feet as Takigawa continued to fight off the big woman with kicks to the leg. Yuki is able to hit a roundhouse kick that and runs the ropes, only to be hit with a Bicycle Kick from Corrina. I think Grey is signaling for the end as she picks up Takigawa before giving the cutthroat signal. SIN CITY PLUNGE (Running Crucifix Powerbomb)!!!! Grey with a cover as we see Yuki’s son at ringside closing his eyes.
Hana: OOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!!!! TTWWWWOOOO!!!! THREEEEE!!!!
(Winner - Corrina Grey)
“Sick like Me” by In This Moment plays Corrina gets up and the crowd let out boos. Young girls enter the ring and help Takigawa to the back.
Corrina soaks in the negative reaction before the camera fades to a commercial
(Commercial promoting the next LAW PPV, “Sin City” Live on November 11th, 2018.)
The match begins with Sharayah and Bianca in the ring. Due to her inexperience, the Pretty Committee are able to take advantage of Super Endo and Veronica and Bianca dominate the early portions of the match. Finally able to capitalize on a mis-step by Veronica, Sharayah is able to tag in Kurokawa, who is able to swing the momentum back away from the Pretty Committee. Kurokawa is able to dominate both members of the other team, but the numbers game finally overcomes her and she manages to tag in Sharayah. Super Endo manages to hold her own this time, giving as equally as she gets. She and Kurokawa manage a double powerbomb on Veronica, leading to a near fall, and fighting outside the ring by Bianca and Kurokawa. Sharayah uses her speed to an advantage and manages to hit her signature kick, the Skull Crack! Veronica fights back, though, using her ring awareness and guile to gain the upper hand with an eye poke. Sharayah tags in Kurokawa as Veronica tags in Bianca and the two continue the brawl they were having on the outside.
Hanako Nakamoto: What a battle this is. Wait a minute... did you see Saint Saito in the exit ramp? I wonder what she's doing now.
Maki Fujioka: Nobody knows, maybe she's watching over either team.
A submission attempt from Bianca has Kurokawa in trouble, but Endo makes the save, however it distracts the referee long enough for Veronica to get a cheap shot in on Kurokawa. Bianca tags out to Veronica as a wary Kurokawa tags her rookie partner. Sharayah and Veronica goes after each other as she brawls in the middle of the ring but Sharayah gets the upper hand as she keeps laying punches to Veronica until she gets to the rope. Sharayah goes for an Irish Whip but veronica counters, making Sharayah to bounces off the rope. Veronica is ready for a Lariat but Endo dodges her arm while keep running to the other side of the rope. Sharayah quickly jumps and takes a step to the middle rope and charges Veronica with a Springboard Lariat. Sharayah rallies the crowd to cheer for her as she's now going for the cover. However, Bianca jumps i to the ring and makes the save. Rio gets involved as they both going outside and keep brawling. While we focus more on Rio and Bianca, Sharayah hits the finisher, Small Package Piledriver and end the match for her and Kurokawa's victory.
(Winner - Sharayah Endo/Rio Kurokawa)
Referee raising Endo's hand as Rio joins in and referee raises her hand as well. They celebrate for a moment until they both exit the ring and walk towards the ramp. In the exit door near the backstage, they meet with Saint Saito as Saito just give them a smirk before going back to the backstage.

This knocks Lena down for a bit before Candice exchanges a look to Stacy Deville at the Suplex Orgy’s corner. Candice gets Lena back up to a standing position before hooking Lena’s arms. Candice maintains eye contact at Stacy before connecting with a snap dragon suplex as Candice goes for the cover. Lena kicks out at two as Candice gets herself and then Lena back up to her feet. Lena manages to stay there before Vanessa takes a few steps back before running and connecting with hesitation dropkick.
Lena Skye manages to move out of the way. In result, Vanessa crashes onto the corner as Lena goes back to the Suplex Orgy’s corner and tags in Stacy Deville. Vanessa and Stacy are both on their feet. Vanessa goes running after Stacy, but Stacy connects with a knick to the stomach before picking up Vanessa and connecting with an exploder suplex to Vanessa in one of the corners. Stacy picks up Vanessa again before connecting with a German suplex. Stacy picks up Vanessa again before connecting with another German suplex. Stacy goes and gets Vanessa again before exchanging a look with Candice Blair, who is looking at her fellow stablemate with concern. Stacy Deville gets Vanessa Santiago by her waist before connecting with a German suplex on Vanessa and going for the cover. Vanessa kicks out at two as Stacy picks up Vanessa and takes her back to the Suplex Orgy’s corner. Stacy tags in Kem Dynamo into the match. The two women connect with Girl Crush (Bridging German Suplex plus Basement Dropkick) before Kem goes for the cover, but Vanessa kicks out.
Vanessa Santiago gets to her knees at Kem Dynamo connects with a front kick that knocks Vanessa back. Kem gets Vanessa back to her knees and somewhat in a vertical position before Kem connects with Bad Luck Charm (Running Enzuigiri) on Vanessa as she goes for the cover, but Candice Blair breaks up the count as Stacy Deville is the first one to stop the JET Academy Champion in her tracks. Stacy takes down Candice with a spear as she throws a few harsh punches to Candice’s face. Stacy gets Candice by her waist and connects with a German suplex, but Candice manages to catch herself. Stacy turns around and Candice connects with a Candy Crush (Double Knee Facebreaker) getting Stacy out of the equation for the time being. Candice is seen trash talking to Stacy from inside the ring, but Candice has no idea that Kem Dynamo is standing behind her. Candice turns around and Kem connects with the Trigger Pull (STO) as that gets Candice out of the equation, making the blonde roll outside the ring.
Kem Dynamo sees Vanessa Santiago on all fours as Kem picks up Vanessa up, but Vanessa manages to show some fighting spirit connecting with a low dropkick. This sends Kem to her knees before Vanessa bounces from the ropes to connect with Guantanamera (Shining wizard into a rana pin). (Sakura Shoujo Stampede October Show Commercial)
As we back from commercial, “Dress for excellence pyramid” by YO-HEI feat. Aki plays as we soon see the arrival of the KAGUYA-Gun Trio of Saiko Hotaru, JUNKO and Rei Kagura make their way to the ring dawned in black and red attire, the colors of their faction. The camera focuses on JUNKO who takes a swig of her rose wine and Rei Kagura who is carrying a KAGUYA-Gun flag.
Asuka Kuramochi: Introducing first! Representing KAGUYA-Gun, the trio of JUNKO, Saiko Hotaru and Rei Kagura.
A loud reception of boos can be heard as the trio make their way down to the ring, all focused with victory in mind.
Maki Fujioka: This is going to be a battle of hatred. Moe, Nakata, and Miyamoto have had their problems with KAGUYA-Gun ever since RISE Together. First KAGUYA attacked Midori and followed by Mizuki issuing a challenge to KAGUYA-Gun, lastly, the entire faction not only jumped Mizuki Nakata but they cost Ai Moe an opportunity in this year’s RISE Grand Prix finals. Yoko Kudo decided to let this match go through to finally settle the score between Mizuki and Co. and KAGUYA-Gun.
Once the trio enters the ring, Rei raises the KAGUYA-Gun flag as the music soon changes to “Rage of Dust” by Spyair. Out come the JET Trios Champ, all of them wearing attires in the same color. They nod to one another before making their way down to the ring to a loud reception.
Asuka Kuramochi: And their opponent, they are the JET Trios Champions! The trio of Mizuki Nakata, Midori Miyamoto, and Ai Moe!!
Hanako Nakamoto: Well KAGUYA-Gun has a tough challenge in front of them but so do the champs, this is their first official defense as JET Trios Champions and they have a pretty massive match in front of them. It was a common goal of being champs that brought them together and it’s going to be a common goal of revenge against KAGUYA-Gun that will unite them tonight.
The Champs enter the ring as they soon pose together with their titles. Once “Rage of Dust” dies down, JET General Manager Yoko Kudo enters the rings as the trios take photos for media at ringside. Yuri Watanabe collects the Trios Titles before showing them to the KAGUYA-Gun trio and soon the defending champs before raising it in the air. Once the titles are safely at ringside, Yuri rings for the bell to start this match!
While the team of champions discussing about who's gonna be the legal competitor but Rei Kagura, rushes in and ambush them from behind. She then grabs Ai Moe by her hair and drag her to the center of the ring and forcing the referee to ring the bell and make Ai a legal competitor for the opposing team. Ai tries to crawl and get up using the rope for help but Rei charges up and gives Ai a running Face Wash through the rope. Rei bounces off the rope again and gives another Face Wash to the face of JET's Ultimate Underdog. With her feet still on Ai's face, Rei taunting and trash talking to the fans as she throws a middle finger to the crowd while Ai rolls to the center of the ring. Rei takes a cover on Ai but Rei took too long trash talking to the crowd, making Ai to kick out easily. Rei then drags Ai to her own territory as she's now tagging to Saiko as when Saiko enters, they both begin to stomp Ai in the corner all at the same time. Saiko then drags Ai to the center of the ring and applies a headlock.
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA-gun just showed their teamwork and Ai Moe seems unable to keep up with that.
Ai tries to crawl to her partner but as she gets closer, Saiko rolls Ai away from her corner and keep strengthen the lock on Ai. as it won't be possible to reach the rope, Ai tries her best to let go off her lock herself. She turns around using all of her strength and hits Saiko with some stiff punches couple of times until she lets go off the headlock. Ai fights back, building out momentum with some quick lariats and end up with giving Saiko a snap powerslam. Ai looks fired up after building momentum as now she throws Saiko to her corner and tags to Midori. Ai and Midori gives Saiko a solid Atomic Drop/Running European Uppercut double team combo. Midori goes for a pin but it's not enough for Midori to take her team to victory. Midori seem to dominate Saiko for a couple minutes with her lighting fast strikes and quick flipping moves but the momentum suddenly stops after Saiko grabs Midori's head and bite her eyelid, causing Midori to scream in pain.
Hanako Nakamoto: What the-- what is Saiko doing to Midori? I never knew fireflies love meat.
Midori then falls down, rolling while holding her eye as Saiko looks around the crowd with psychotic look. She then fall back and tags herself to JUNKO as KAGUYA-gun's second-in-command launches her full assault on Midori who is still in pain from that bite. She goes on top of Midori, and gives Midori some hard fists to the eye that Saiko bites, adding more pain to Midori. She relentlessly punches Midori until referee has to get her hand of it and pulls JUNKO apart. JUNKO just follow what the ref said and let go off her mount but not long after that, JUNKO just stomp Midori's face to add some insult to injury. JUNKO looks at Mizuki with a wicked smile while Mizuki only look at Midori with a look of concern towards her own partner. Midori tries to recover but JUNKO seizes the opportunity and bounces rope to hit a Darkness Smash (Sliding Elbow Drop) to Midori in her seated position. JUNKO goes for a pin but Midori still have anything left in her. JUNKO looks frustrated to see Midori is not giving up yet as she pulls Midori's hair and get her on her feet, but instead, Midori fights back and hits JUNKO with BURNING combo strike. JUNKO fights back as it's not enough to put JUNKO down but Midori surprises her by catching JUNKO to a Phantom Night (Small Package Driver). JUNKO is down but it took the rest of Midori's stamina, causing her to fall on her knees. Mizuki extending her head as Midori trying to reach it.
Maki Fujioka: Mizuki looks eager to enter the ring but it seems JUNKO is not letting Midori to make a tag to her.
But JUNKO grabs Midori's leg and pull her back to the middle of the ring. She doesn't let go off Midori's leg until they both stand and Midori once again surprises her with a Dragon Whip Enzuigiri right to JUNKO's temple. Midori then tries again and she crawls into her corner and eventually tags in to Mizuki. Mizuki looks fired up as she enters the ring and charges at Rei who enters the ring as well. JUNKO quickly gets up only to get thrown to the corner with Mizuki's exploder belly-to-belly suplex. Saiko tries to ambush Mizuki from behind but Mizuki anticipates it as she dodges Saiko's lariat and kicks her with a Superkick until she staggers to the rope. Mizuki hits another superkick, making Saiko goes over the top rope and falls to the ringside. Mizuki puts the attention to JUNKO in a perfect position in the corner as Mizuki charges up to hit seated JUNKO with a Shinkansen knee strike. Mizuki rolls JUNKO to the middle and goes for a pin but Rei makes the save.
Hanako Nakamoto: What a save. That would be the end of KAGUYA-gun if Rei wasn't there.
Rei then knocks Ai and Midori in the apron while JUNKO makes the tag to Saiko. JUNKO and Saiko about to end Mizuki by hitting their tag team finisher, Firefly Extiction (Superkick/Knee Strike combo) while Rei takes care of the remaining team. Saiko pins but somehow Ai slips away from Rei as she enters the ring and breaks the pin. JUNKO goes to Ai as she's about to throw her out but instead Ai counters them and throws JUNKO outside instead as she falls into Midori and Rei who still brawl outside. Ai climbs the top rope and stands up even with shaky legs, Ai still dives down and hits a diving cross body to all the illegal competitors outside as all four women down and laying there. Meanwhile, Mizuki seem not moving after JUNKO and Saiko hits their devastating move on her and still laying until now. Saiko looks at Mizuki laying in a perfect spot as she climbs the turnbuckle to end Mizuki for good. Saiko is on their feet at the top rope, going for her finisher, Luciola Splash (High-angle Frog Splash) but right after she jumps, Mizuki quickly gets up. Mizuki was playing possum all the time as she catches Saiko in mid air. Mizuki puts Saiko in a fireman's carry position and she hits Laniakea (Standing Fireman's Carry Takeover) and goes for a cover. With no one interfering, Saiko is unable to kickout and Mizuki leads her team to retain the title.
(Winner and STILL JET Trios Champion - Mizuki Nakata/Ai Moe/Midori Miyamoto)
Hanako Nakamoto: What a battle! KAGUYA-gun proved everyone that they are not just talk and can fight in amazing battle as well, but in the end the team of champions retained their title.
Mizuki, Ai and Midori celebrates their victory while KAGUYA-gun regroup outside and throws a tantrum to the champs. Soon the scene transition to the final commercial break.
(sponsors commercial break)
We return as a video package highlighting the amazing 2018 edition of RISE Grand Prix is shown. The video soon focuses on the amazing run of Mitra Marvel and Kimiko Hayabusa, both women coming in after losing the Miss Manami Tributary Shield Match before focusing on their match picture for tonight. The focus is soon on the titantron displaying all the winners of the tournament like JET World Champ Nina Sanada, the Founder Miss Manami, and current commentator Hanako Nakamoto along with many more.
Asuka Kuramochi: Ladies and Gentlemen, it’s now time for TONIGHT’S MAIN EVENT AND IT’S THE FINAL MATCH OF THE 2018 RISE GRAND PRIX!!
Lolita by Lana Del Rey plays as Mitra Marvel in a bright blue attire walks out from the back with a smile on her face! She can hear a loud reception from the Kobe crowd as she begins to make her way down to the ring. Once she reaches near the step, Mitra takes off her bandana and passes it to a girl in the front row cheering her on.
Maki Fujioka: When this tournament, a lot of predictions had Mitra stuck in the middle of the pack. She wasn’t in top form considering in her few appearances with JET, she had gone 2-5.
Hanako Nakamoto: It didn’t help that her block featured the JET World Champ Nina Sanada, former World Champ Mizuki, and the legendary Tarah Nova. All of whom she defeated and she ended her group stage as the winner of A Block with an amazing 6 wins and 12 points. If there was any doubt about Mitra’s ability to get really make the next step, not only winning her block but winning the whole tournament could put those doubts to rest.
Mitra soon enters the ring as the Kobe crowd give one loud pop once she raises her hand to the sky. Marvel soon heads to her corner as the PA changes to “Fly Again” by MAN WITH A MISSION. Kimiko Hayabusa in her trademark pink attire along with a white jacket makes her way to the ring. The crowd continues to cheer as that brings a smile to Kimiko’s face. The young girls at ringside hold the rope for the Pink Princess as she enters the ring and poses for the crowd.
Maki Fujioka: In a block filled with dangerous competitors like KAGUYA, Vanessa Santiago, Candice, and Rachael Frost. The Pink Princess got out of her block by also scoring 12 points. We’ve probably got a final that nobody really expected, Hanako-san. A person who wants to lead this company for the fans and one who wants to lead towards a brand new generation. I bet Nina Sanada is watching this match in the back, she has to potential one of these two women.
Kimiko enters the ring as the music dies down and soon the finalist take pictures alongside JET General Manager Yoko Kudo for memorabilia purposes and the media around ringside. Both competitors soon return to their respective corner as Asuka Kuromachi takes center stage with a mic in her hand.
Asuka Kuramochi: Ladies and Gentlemen in attendance LIVE from Kobe World Memorial Hall and for those watching from comforts of their homes. IT IS NOW TIME FOR YOUR MAIN EVENT!! The following contest is scheduled for one fall AND IS THE FINALS OF THE 2018 RISE GRAND PRIX! Introducing in the blue corner, from Reno, Nevada… She is the A Block Winner and “The Solar Senshi”!! THIS IS MIIIITRAAAA MAAAARRRVEEELLL!!!
Mitra comes over to the center of the ring spinning before raising her fist in the air. The crowd applaud and throw blue streamers into the ring.
Asuka Kuramochi: And her opponent from Kyoto, Japan… She is the B Block Winner and “The Pink Princess”!! THIS IS KIIIMIIKOOO HAYABUSAAAAAA!!!!!
Kimiko comes in the center of the ring as she spins the air before posing with her fist in the air. The crowd large amount of pink streamers towards the ring. Once the young lions are done cleaning the ring, Senior Referee Yuri Watanabe calls for the bell. The finals are now underway.
The match begins with a handshake, both women showing a sign of respect. Kimiko and Mitra soon circle the ring as they enter a “feeling out” process. They soon get in the center of the ring and look towards locking up. It soon begins a test of strength as both women enter a collar-elbow tie up. Mitra is able to minor size advantage and push Kimiko into the ropes. Referee Watanabe tells Mitra to break the hold and she does so as we get a clean break. Mitra breaks from the rope but she soon pats her hands on Kimiko’s chest which seems to have slightly angered the Pink Princess.
Maki Fujioka: Mitra is trained by the legendary Kenny Drake, one of finest technical wrestlers that America has produced. So Kenny Drake has probably taught her how to ground High-Flyers like Kimiko. We’ll need to see that in tonight’s match.
Kimiko seems to be a little mad about the pat to the head, she soon gets in the face of Mitra and hits a forearm to her face. Mitra responds with a forearm of her own and both women begin to trade shots back and forth. The crowd is behind both women as soon Mitra ducks a shot and gets Kimiko in a front facelock. Mitra immediately tries for a Solar Flare but Kimiko stops the attempt with a small package. Only not even a one count as Mitra kicks out, both women get back to their feet and Mitra regains control with a side headlock. She’s been able to kick the high-flyer grounded and that will definitely sway the match in her favor. Kimiko tries a back suplex but Mitra isn’t having any of this as she is able to keep her side headlock in tight. Kimiko is unsuccessful at her suplex attempt, she is being grounded properly by Mitra and it is shown right now. The crowd is chanting Kimiko’s name as they want her to fight back. She is able to fight back as she starts to throws back elbows directed right at the rib of Mitra. The Solar Senshi with those shots now begins to loosen her grip on Kimiko’s head and the Pink Princess is able to escape. Both women are in the center of the ring as Mitra charges in only for that to be countered for an arm-drag! Both women are back up as Mitra hits an arm-drag on Kimiko. The two of them right back up as Mitra once again rushes Kimiko but Hayabusa is able to counter and send Mitra right over the top rope. Marvel is able to hold herself by getting a grip on the top rope! Hayabusa is turned around and we see Marvel getting her target locked. SUNNYSIDE UP (SLINGSHOT SOMERSAULT LARIAT)!! But it’s countered as Hayabusa caught with a dropkick on Mitra as she finished the somersault!! Hayabusa follows this up with a Standing Shooting Star Press on the downed Mitra. COVER!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOO!!!!
Hanako Nakamoto: No! Mitra kicked out but I think that the dropkick really got her, it caught her flush on the face.
Kimiko gets back to her feet as the ref checks on Mitra. She might be a bit hurt but the Sailor Sun is still up and ready to go as she struggling a bit. Kimiko responds to this with a forearm right to face. Mitra doesn’t take this to kindly as she hits her own forearm to Kimiko. The two of them trade shots over and over, the crowd behind both women once again applauding the amazing bout they have seen so far. Both of them continue to throw strikes at one another until Mitra ducks one and hits a snap German suplex on Kimiko but Hayabusa is right back up with her own Dragon Suplex! Somehow Mitra gets right back up and hits Discus Lariat! Kimiko absorbed the Lariat?! How the commentator wondered but no time to answer that as Kimiko with a step back Superkick! The kick catches flush on Mitra’s jaw but Sailor Sun isn’t down as she takes step back into to the ropes and comes back to hit Kimiko with GOLDEN HOUR (Discus Big Boot)!!! The boot landed squarely on Hayabusa’s jaw as both women collapse with Marvel on top of Kimiko for the cover!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOONNNNNNNEEEEE!!!! TWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!!!
Maki Fujioka: Kimiko with a kick out! That was incredible, the will to win this GP is definitely showing in both these two incredible women as they absorbed so much punishment. Nina Sanada has to be taking notes in the back, she could potentially be facing one of these two women for her JET World Title.
Both women are exhausted as they are on the ground, Yuri Watanabe begins her count and the two finalists aren’t responding until the 5 count. Mitra and Kimiko are able to get up but only on their knees. Both women are putting their heart and soul in this match as they know this is the only guaranteed title shot at Nina Sanada. Mitra throws a forearm and this time Kimiko responds with an open hand chop! That stings as the crowd in Kobe World Hall could hear that. Kimiko continues to fire these open hand chops while being the first one to get back up to her feet. The Kimiko with a shoot kick right to the chest as Mitra tells the Pink Princess to hit her again! Another shoot kick from Kimiko, she keeps firing a barrage of kicks to Mitra. Hayabusa being now runs the ropes and rushes back for a Heartache (Running Double Knees) but Mitra is able to dodge out of the way. Kimiko is back to her feet only to get hit with a discus elbow smash from Mitra. The Solar Senshi now gets her opponent in an inverted headlock for a Sunshade but Kimiko fights out of the hold. The Pink Princess thinks she has escaped but Mitra hits another discus elbow, this time to the back of the head! Kimiko might be really out now as Mitra Marvels follows this with another Inverted facelock. SUNSHADE (Spinning Headlock Elbow Drop onto the knee)!!! You can see Kimiko back land horribly on Mitra’s knee and this isn’t the end of it. Mitra gets Kimiko right back up while keeping her inverted facelock position. The Sailor Sun lifts up Kimiko as she hits an INVERTED SOLAR FLARE!!! Mitra quickly into the cover!!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!!!!! TWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!! THHHHHRRRREEE----
Somehow… Somehow Kimiko Hayabusa kicked out at 2.99. Mitra couldn’t believe that Kimiko kicked out as this was the same combination that beat Tarah Nova in their block finals match. Marvel didn’t let the kick out get to her as she picked up an almost lifeless Kimiko up. And Irish-whips Kimiko into the ropes, and as Hayabusa rebounds back Mitra goes for a spinebuster BUT Kimiko is able to this chance to a jumping Dragonrana instead. Hayabusa with a sneaky cover but Mitra kicks out only at one. Once Kimiko is kicked out, she immediately responds with a roundhouse kick to Mitra who’s in the seated position. The Pink Princess runs the rope again and this time comes back hitting Mitra with a Heartache (Running Double Knees). It hits as Kimiko quickly goes for the cover.
Yuri Watanabe: ONNNNEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWOOOOOO!!!!!
Maki Fujioka: What a war these two have gone through. Everything is being thrown out tonight as both women are want to win this GP Finals. Think about the pride that comes from being classed along legends like Miss Manami and my own broadcast colleague, Hanako Nakamoto.
Kimiko deciding that she is going to end this match right now! She signals that to the crowd and heads to the apron to climb the top rope. The damage previously was done by Mitra all throughout this match is starting to get to Kimiko as she is slowly climbing the turnbuckle. Meanwhile, Mitra is on her feet as we see run up the turnbuckles and stand face to face with Kimiko on the top rope. This is about to get dangerous very soon!
Hanako Nakamoto: This isn’t safe for both these two women, they shouldn’t be fighting up there. Whoever is able to execute whatever they have planned might be able to get the win in this match
Drained from this match, both Mitra and Kimiko throw strikes at one another in an effort to get the advantage. They continued until Mitra stopped Kimiko with a forearm. Mitra now hooks Kimiko’s arm… Is she gonna try a Solar Flare from the top of the turnbuckle?! Mitra tries to lift Kimiko but the Pink Princess has it blocked. Kimiko fires a gut punch with her free arm, Kimiko is doing everything to fight back and she’s successfully able to escape the hold with the help of those punches. Kimiko now just headbutted Mitra, you can hear the sounds of that as Kimiko hits another stiff headbutt. Mitra is down, she losses her footing and crashes down from the top turnbuckle. Kimiko sees her opening as a groggy Mitra soon gets up. KIMIKO LEAPS!! BROKEN CROWN FROM THE TOP ROPE!! Kimiko now in a pinning position!!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOONNNNNEEEEEE!!!!! TWWWWWWOOOOO!!!!! THREEEEE!!!!!!
(Winner - Kimiko Hayabusa)
The Chorus of “Fly Again” by Man With A Mission plays as young girls rush inside the ring to check on Mitra and Kimiko. They help both of them up to their feet as Kimiko is the first one to rise up and has her hand raised by Yuri Watanabe.
Asuka Kuramochi: HERE IS YOUR WINNER OF THIS BOUT AND THE 2018 RISE GRAND PRIX!!! “THE PINK PRINCESS” KIIIIIMMMMIKOOOO HAYABUUUUUSSAAAAAA!!!
After hearing her name called out as the victor, Hayabusa falls to her knee. Just accepting her massive win meanwhile pink streamers fall from the ceiling of Kobe World Memorial Hal. JET General Manager Yoko Kudo enters the ring not only the RISE GP Trophy but the contract for the title match. Kimiko gets back to feet and bows before accepting the trophy and contract.
Hanako Nakamoto: What! A! WIN! This was everything you wanted to see as the main event for one of our most important shows of the year. Both women did everything in their power to win this match but Kimiko Hayabusa has prevailed as not only the winner of this bout but also the winner of the 2018 RISE Grand Prix.
Mitra is back up to her feet with the help of the young girls as she looks at Kimiko. The Pink Princess is the one to extend her hand as a sign of respect. Mitra gladly shakes the hand of Kimiko and the two of them even share a hug.
Maki Fujioka: You really have to feel for Mitra Marvel, she did everything right in this match. She came in prepared to win but somehow being the one who lost this bout But I think over in New York, Kenny Drake must be definitely proud of his protege’s performance. She survived a hellacious tour and now she has most definitely earned the respect of not only Kimiko Hayabusa but the whole wrestling world.
Mitra Marvel bows to the crowd before exiting the ring as we are left with Kimiko Hayabusa celebrating in the ring. The final shot of the show is Kimiko climbing the middle turnbuckle with both the title match contract and the GP Trophy in hand. She raises them in victory as the show fades to the logos of JET and IJWF.
