Episode 12: "The Miranda Problem."
(The show cuts to the backstage area where Maria Cuesta.)
Maria Cuesta: Please welcome my guest at this time Ka….
Kayla Winters: These idiots know who I am Maria.
Maria Cuesta: At Lime Light you successfully defended you tag team titles defeating the Sakaraba Sisters.
Kayla Winters: Like there was ever a doubt, Roxy and I may not see eye to eye sometime, but once the bells, good god were good aren’t we, two complete demolishing's of Wolfgang Symphony, and total beatdown of the Suckaraba Sisters, tonight against what’s there name’s Sugar and Spice.
Maria Cuesta: Yes, Sugar and Spice.
Kayla Winters: It makes no difference to and it makes no difference to Roxy, everyone in LAW needs to realize that Kayla Winters and Sweet Roxy are where it's at in the tag team division, and tonight we prove it once again.
(Kayla Winters gets off the camera shot, leaving Maria Cuesta there.)
(RECAP FROM LIMELIGHT: Footage of the Six Woman Tag Team Match is shown. Hayley Valentine getting the submission victory over Madison Lewis is shown as Sidney Knight, Jessica Rose and Hayley Valentine are shown getting their arms raised. Footage from the Lethal Tag Team Championship Match is shown. Sweet Roxy and Kayla Winters retaining and raising the titles high up is shown. Miranda Minors vs. Isabella Verratti is shown. Isabella outshining Miranda and getting the upset. Isabella being the victim of the post match beating is shown with a pop heard from Isabella’s knee. Madam Vega getting security and Miranda escaping through the crowd is shown. The segment between Madam Vega and Miranda Minors is shown with Vega announcing that Miranda will not be allowed to challenge for the LAW Championship for the rest of the season is heard. It then tries to calm down with the Lethal Specialists Triple Threat with April Song getting the submission victory over Santana Matthews. It then goes to the epic main event between Daisy Thrash and Roni De Vil. Each of these women taking the other to the limit. Roni connects with the Gentle Fist on Daisy. Roni goes for the cover, but before the three count is made, Miranda Minors begins attacking Daisy as the official rings for the bell. As soon as Miranda is done taking her focus on the LAW Champion, she turns her attention to Roni and begins attacking her. Daisy tries to fight back, but Miranda eventually gets the upper hand on Daisy. Madam Vega once again comes out with security again. Miranda tries to escape through the crowd again, but security manages to get Miranda and take her to the back. The scene ends with Roni De Vil and Daisy Thrash unconscious in the ring.)
(COLD OPEN: The scene fades into the cheering crowd as they raise their posters high in the air.)
(“Cherry Bomb” — The Runaways plays through the speakers. The crowd reacts positively as Madam Vega walks out without the smile on her face that people are used too. Instead, it is serious like she is looking to get straight to business.)
Kat Ricci: Why the bitter look on her face?
Melissa Flash: Well, she had a potential rising star in Isabella Verratti injured and her epic main event ending in chaos thanks to one woman — Miranda Minors. On social media, Madam Vega stated that Miranda was going to face consequences for her action at Limelight!
Kat Ricci: Miranda Minors was already punished after injuring Isabella Verratti by not being able to challenge for the LAW Championship for the rest of the season. How worse can you get with the punishment?
(“Cherry Bomb” dies down as Madam Vega thinks about what she is going to say.)
Madam Vega: Look, I’m not in a pleasant mood. As much as Limelight was a success and Collision Course is around the corner, I can’t seem to focus on that because Miranda Minors continues to get in the way. I tried to be easy on the girl. The Owner is fond of Miranda and I have kept my cool after all the comments Miranda has said towards me in her promos. However, what she did at Limelight is inexcusable. For those wondering, the update on Isabella Verratti was that she dislocated her knee after Miranda used a a steel chair. Miranda took a rising star and possibly a future LAW Champion and gave her a career threatening injury. Isabella, on behalf of the LAW roster, I wish you a recover and hopefully, you’ll get back in the ring one day.
(The crowd applauds for a moment as Madam Vega still maintains that serious look on her face.)
Madam Vega: In response of that, I punished Miranda by not allowing her to challenge for the LAW Championship for the rest of the season. I thought that would be enough to shut her mouth and stop her from ruining Limelight. Nope, she had to push the envelope even more by interfering in what was a Match of the Year worthy match between Roni De Vil and Daisy Thrash. She took a man which should have been about giving these two women a platform and she made it all about her, which is not surprising.
(Madam Vega turns to the ramp.)
Madam Vega: Miranda, get your ass out here!
(The crowd cheers as they wait for a moment before “Children of the Son” — Pipe Choir blasts through the speakers. Miranda Minors comes out in her street clothes and a microphone in her hands.)
Melissa Flash: Here is the troublemaker! Miranda Minors has a serious look on her face!
Kat Ricci: I wonder what she is going to say about all of this.
(“Children of the Son” dies down as Miranda Minors is standing across from Madam Vega.)
Madam Vega: Well, we’re waiting for you explanation. What do you have to say about your actions?
Miranda Minors: For those that are wondering, I have no remorse for what I did at Limelight. At Limelight, people were talking about me for the first time since losing the LAW Championship. People weren’t talking about Isabella Verratti. People weren’t talking about Daisy Thrash. People weren’t even talking about Roni De Vil. People were talking about Miranda Minors. Ever since losing at Caged, I have had women take the opportunities and prizes that should have belonged to me, but I have kept my cool even when you couldn’t give me my rightful rematch. No, you put the odds against me as we watched your “pet projects” shine. I mean, is that why Roni De Vil was given weak competition as her wins started to increase? Is that why Isabella Verratti was given a victory at Sin City that should have belonged to me? These two women were the the women standing in my way from getting my championship back. Isabella had the one thing I would have killed to have — a guaranteed title match for the LAW Championship. Thanks to me, Isabella won’t be able to ever use that opportunity. Instead, she will be wondering if she will be able to use that knee again after what I did to it.
When you punished me by not allowing me to challenge for the LAW Championship, it pissed me off, Vega. It angered me, so I thought in my mind: if I can’t be LAW Champion, Roni De Vil can’t either. You’ve denied me with a match against her, which was your mistake because now, she is the one that wants a match against me —
Madam Vega: — You’re not facing Roni. I am not going to let one of my students stoop down to your level.
Miranda Minors: Go ahead and protect your pet project, Vega. We all know what happened to Isabella.
Madam Vega: How does a woman like yourself sleep at night, Miranda?
Miranda Minors: Quite well, actually.
Madam Vega: Alright, smartass. I had enough with you throwing this tantrum the moment things don’t go your way. I had enough with you decreasing the population of the LAW roster. Do you not realize that LAW is supposed to be united as we approach Collision Course? To me, you are the only one that doesn’t seem to be in it for LAW, but for yourself. If there is anyone that is going to prevent LAW from having a good performance against JET, it’s you. Miranda, you are the most entitled and self-centered piece of garbage, I have ever met. I never thought that I would have to do this but your actions at Limelight have left me with no choice. Miranda Minors, you are fi—
(“ULTRAnumb” — Blue Stahli blast through the speakers as the crowd EXPLODES for Cameron Ella Ava, who walks out in a black and white suit. She smiles as she looks at the crowd before making her way down the ramp.)
Kat Ricci: The Owner is here! Cameron Ella Ava was at Limelight looking for women to represent Team LAW at Collision Course. She also saw the actions that a student of hers, Miranda Minors, had caused at Limelight!
Melissa Flash: I wonder what is her input in all of this?
(“ULTRAnumb” dies down as Cameron Ella Ava has a microphone in her hands. She waits for the crowd to die down before speaking.)
Cameron Ella Ava: I can’t let you do that, Vega. I’m not going to let you fire Miranda.
(The crowd begins to boo as Madam Vega sighs and Miranda Minors crackles in satisfaction.)
Cameron Ella Ava: However, I agree with Miranda not competing for the LAW Championship for the rest of the season.
(The crowd cheers as Miranda Minors’ eyes widen as Madam Vega grins and nods.)
Miranda Minors: ARE YOU KIDDING ME? YOU’RE SUPPOSED TO BE ON MY SIDE!
Cameron Ella Ava: I’m sorry, but what you did at Limelight is something that cannot go unpunished. I thought I taught you better, Miranda, but injuring women, interfering in main events? I think the punishment is justified, but I want to add on to it.
Miranda Minors: …You got to be kidding me.
Madam Vega: Please do tell.
Cameron Ella Ava: Until Collision Course is over, I am not allowing Miranda Minors to lay a finger on Daisy Thrash and Roni De Vil. If any of these three women lay a finger on each other, they will be suspended indefinitely. These three women cannot be clashing and making LAW look undivided. I just managed to get Sweet Roxy and Kayla Winters on the same page. I do not need for any more of my women to make this promotion look bad.
(The crowd begins to boo as Miranda Minors rolls her eyes.)
Miranda Minors: How am I making this promotion look bad? I am probably the most talked about thing in the IJWF. I am the woman who turns heads into watching LAW. Are you going to cast me aside like Vega, Cameron?
Cameron Ella Ava: I’m not. I am aware of your talents. You are a talented woman, who rises to the challenge with each match she is a part of. Since you’re not going to be in the LAW Championship Match or facing Roni De Vil for the time being, I’m planning to utilize you into something huge for LAW and the IJWF.
Madam Vega: Don’t you say…
Cameron Ella Ava: At Collision Course, Sakura Shoujo Stampede, Sakura Pro, Big Apple Wrestling, Joshi Extreme Takeover, Rose City Wrestling and Lethal Angels of Wrestling will be selecting a representative to compete in a match to determine first-ever IJWF Champion.
Madam Vega: Please reconsider, Cameron…
Cameron Ella Ava: I am happy to announce that our LAW representative competing for the title at Collision Course will be none other than…MIRANDA MINORS!
(Miranda Minors applauds Cameron Ella Ava and smirks at Madam Vega, who drops her head down in defeat. Miranda seems like she is having a hard time containing her excitement. The crowd has a mixed reaction. On one hand, they like their chances, but on the other hand, they hate Miranda’s guts.)
Miranda Minors: I think you made a fantastic choice, Cameron. I hope not to disappoint you.
(Miranda Minors smirks as her microphone drops. “Children of the Son” plays once again as Miranda leaves the ring and walks up the ramp. Meanwhile, Madam Vega shakes her head and Cameron Ella Ava seems proud of LAW’s chances at Collision Course.)
Melissa Flash: A HUGE ANNOUNCEMENT FOR COLLISION COURSE! MIRANDA MINORS HAS BEEN INSERTED IN THE MULTI-WOMAN MATCH TO DETERMINE WHO WILL BE THE FIRST EVER IJWF CHAMPION!
Kat Ricci: Miranda Minors is the inaugural LAW Champion! This is a no brainer for Cameron Ella Ava! I like our chances, Melissa!
(The last shot is of Miranda Minors standing on top of the ramp with a huge grin on her face.)
(Commercial break.)
(The camera pans back to ringside with Natasha Night standing in the ring holding a microphone.)
Natasha Night: Ladies and Gentleman, please welcome the NEWWWWWW Lethal Specialist Champion….APRILLLLLLLLLL SONG!
(“Message to God” by Royal Hunt begins to blare over the loudspeakers as a beaming April, dressed in all sky-blue ring gear with her aviator shades on, the Lethal Specialists Championship belt draped over her shoulder, makes her way to the ring to a mixed but mostly positive reaction.)
Melissa Flash: April Song has been waiting a long time to make this walk to the ring, the walk with her holding the Lethal Specialists Championship! The Killer Bee managed to outmaneuver and outlast young upstart Agatha Marselinna and the former champion Santanna Matthews to finally take a hold of the gold that she had been working so diligently to make hers.
Kat Ricci: I agree. April has had so much hard luck here but was finally in the right place at the right time, locking in her signature submission, the dreaded Killer Clutch, to pick up the massive win and redeem herself after that heartbreaking loss at Sin City.
(April enters the ring, still smiling as she shakes Natasha’s hand and is given the microphone to express herself. “Message to God” fades out eventually and April is silent for a moment just soaking in the cheers from the crowd.)
Melissa Flash: She’s milking it a bit more than I thought she would. She’s a bit relaxed for someone we will see in action later tonight…
Kat Ricci: She’s not so relaxed that she didn’t show up in her ring gear! She’s ready for a fight, but definitely has a reason to be relieved. Her title quest had clearly been getting to her.
(April waits for the crowd to settle down and is about to speak before a random fan screams “WE LOVE YA, APRIL!”, which causes her to raise an eyebrow and some of the fans to chuckle.)
April Song: Hey, I love Me too. I don’t blame you at all! But seriously...It’s been a long journey, guys. In a ring just like this, I lost the EAW Specialists Championship on September 21, 2017. So...for 445 Days, approximately 10,680 Hours, I didn’t feel whole. I felt like something was missing. I was talking the talk but not walking the walk. I didn’t have gold, in singles competition, to back up my claim of being the most lethal submission star in the world. But now, I’m standing here after all those days and minutes and seconds of frustration as your NEW LETHAL SPECIALISTS CHAMPION!
(The crowd gives her another massive round of applause as April stops to compose herself, her expression almost angry in spite of how truly jubilant she feels.)
April Song: I have been thinking about this for a long time, holding this belt. It’s time to build a legacy with this, make it something worthy of being held by any of the brightest, most elite talent in the wrestling world. When I was EAW Specialists Champion, I long considered myself being hidden away. Not by my own choice, but by people who maybe didn’t believe I would make the belt mean anything. That I was too bland. Not this time, friends. Also, in case you all missed the post match interview, I threw down the gauntlet to anyone who was willing to accept the challenge. Just like all the champions before me and all my predecessors who have held variations of this championship, I WILL NOT HIDE! If any of you feel like you have the guts to come and face me, whether it’s someone from the LAW locker room or anyone associated with the IJWF, I’m offering YOU the platform to prove how strong you are. All you have to do is take it. So…..who among you has the gall to call my bluff? I didn’t bust my butt getting this belt to just sit it on a shelf and watch it get dust so, please, someone, ANYONE answer….
(The crowd murmurs as April leans against the ropes, looking at the entrance way with a bored expression. No one is coming out and the crowd starts to boo a little bit in annoyance.)
Kat Ricci: Wow? No one is coming out?
??: Hello, April. You want to be a fighting champion, so I hear. I will happily call your bluff.
(April’s eyes and the eyes of the crowd immediately turn to the big screen near the entrance ramp as Kristina Von Doom, an imposing figure from Rose City Wrestling appears.)
Kristina Von Doom: I am Kristina Von Doom, the Immortal. Collision Course, as you know, is one of the few times when all of the various promotions of the IJWF compete against one another. If you’re content to throw down challenges, then I am more than pleased to accept it on behalf of Rose City Wrestling. You are an outstanding wrestler, April...but you aren’t the only gifted wrestler walking the earth. While you can boast unlimited submissions, I boast not only a pedigree that none can match...but unlimited power. My power will overcome any hold or submission that you have in your mind to try. And you will KNEEL before the Immortal!
Melissa Flash: For those of you uninitiated, that is the fearsome Kristina Von Doom. An Amazon-like woman standing over six feet tall and weighing in at nearly 200 pounds. She is strength personified!
April Song: I accept your challenge. You look like quite the strong one...I’m no stranger to wrestling people who are much larger and stronger than me. And you may be quite talented…..BUUUUUUT....you see, my leg has a nasty little cramp in it, even after kicking two women’s asses at Limelight. My muscles kinda lock up when people make demands like that so kneeling may be a little hard for me. What won’t be hard is finding a way to make you quit. You just remember these three words when facing me: JUST. TAP. OUT.
(April casually flicks the microphone out of the ring, holding up her championship as Kristina looks on from the screen, a piercing glare fixed on the champion and her title.)
First Match: April Song vs. Rina Sakaraba w/ Yuki Sakaraba
The match begins with a handshake in sign of sportsmanship between April and Rina as the two women circle the ring now. Both trying to see who will make the first move as Rina now raises her left hand for a test of strength. April soon locks hand but Rina hits the Specialist Champ with a gut kick. Soon the Sakaraba sister gets the champ stuck in a side-headlock, meanwhile at ringside Rina’s sister Yuki is cheering her one along with the crowd. The technical wrestling genius April soon gets out of the side headlock with a backdrop suplex. Quick cover from Song only gets her a one count! Now the champ begins to work on the neck of Rina, getting her trapped in a hold. Now the former mercenary goes to work locking in her submission tightly.
Fast forward as the match continues and everytime Rina gets momentum on her side, April is there to put a stop to it. Song continued to work on Rina’s neck for the entirety of the match and never letting up her attacks. April has Sakaraba down as she getting the crowd to side with her after hitting a Bee Stinger. The specialist champ seems to be going for a Swan Song but Sakaraba with a big reversal and hits some well placed elbows to the ribs of the Specialist Champ. April now is forced to drop her Swan Song attempt and Rina is free. Sakaraba now fires shoot kicks aimed towards the chest of April as the crowd can see the kick pad hitting April. The crowd is cheering Rina on along with Yuki who’s at ringside. April now is finally able to block a shoot kick and gets a grab of Rina’s leg. Song now swings Rina around but the Galactic Rocker is able to use that to her advantage and hit April with an Enzuigiri! April Song is stunned as now Rina rushes to one of the neutral corners and back to April. SHOTGUN DROPKICK!! April’s head just bounced hard against the ropes!
Melissa Flash: Our Lethal Specialists Champion’s head just bounced hard against those ropes! Let’s see if Rina Sakaraba takes advantage of that!
Rina now slips into the cover but only gets a close two count. After being in absolute control this entire match it’s now April who is in trouble as she’s perfectly lined up with the corner and Rina takes advantage of that and heads right up to the top rope! She’s precisely ready for “Maximum The Splash” (Frog Splash) but April is able to dodge the splash. Rina is able to roll back to her feet after jumping off the rope as now the two competitors square off with strikes. Every forearm of Rina is responded by a chop from April, the two go at it as the crowd is cheering on both women until Rina ducks a chop and hits April with a gut kick!
Now Rina looks at the rope and rushes to it! Springboard Warmachine (Stunner)... NO APRIL CAUGHT HER AS SHE WENT FOR THE STUNNER! Rina is trapped in a Rear Naked Choke! Sakaraba is doing everything in her power to say in this match but April now smoothly transitions over to a Professional Disposal II (Crossface Chickenwing). Soon Rina has stopped fight of as the ref checks on the Punk Rock Princess and she’s passed out! The ref calls for the bell and the match is over! April Song has successfully fought off an amazing challenge from Rina Sakaraba!
Kat Ricci: Rina Sakaraba brought everything into this match, but April song and that Professional Disposal II looked devious! Kristina Von Doom is going to need to worry about that move going into Collision Course!
(Winner -- April Song via submission)
(Winner -- April Song via submission)
(Commercial Break.)
Second Match: Hayley Valentine vs. Agatha. Marselinna
For the second match of the night, Hayley Valentine faced Agatha Marselinna. For Agatha, she needed this victory to redeem herself from her loss at Limelight. From the moment the bell rang, Hayley managed to get control over Agatha by getting her to the corner and holding it there. The official counts to four as Hayley releases the hold before the count of five is made. Hayley backs away as Agatha comes at her! Hayley gets Agatha and goes for a sidewalk slam, but Agatha counters by connecting with a spinning headscissors takedown. Agatha manages to get the upper hand of the match as she connects with multiple dropkicks on Hayley before going for the cover. Hayley kicks out at two as Agatha gets Hayley back to her feet before connecting with a back kick as Hayley drops to her knees instantly. Agatha follows that with a snap ddt, but Hayley manages to push Agatha as she bounces from the ropes. Hayley trips Agatha, who falls face first. Hayley connects with some mounted punches on Agatha’s face. The more Hayley continues with the punching, the more aggressive she gets. The official is needing to back Hayley away from Agatha.
Melissa Flash: This is normal behavior for Hayley Valentine! She has always had a mean streak to her!
Agatha Marselinna uses the ropes to help herself up! Hayley Valentine approaches to Agatha! Agatha shows some of her strength and manages to lift Hayley to the outside of the ring —Hayley manages to land her feet on the apron, but Agatha connects with a roundhouse kick as Hayley drops to the ground! Agatha gets on the top turnbuckle and connects with a diving crossbody on Hayley. The two women are down for the moment as the official begins counting. Agatha is the first one up to her feet as she gets Hayley and rolls her underneath the bottom rope and inside the ring. Agatha does the same soon after and goes for the cover. Hayley kicks out at two and a half as Agatha is shocked that Hayley is still in this match. Agatha gets herself up as she gestures for Hayley to get herself up! Agatha goes for the Ambivalent (Delayed Superkick), but Hayley ducks and connects with the Braindamage DDT (Cradle hammerlock legsweep DDT). Hayley then quickly locks in the Modified Kata Gatame (Arm-trap Triangle choke). Agatha tries not to tap out, but eventually does.
Kat Ricci: Hayley Valentine with another submission victory and this time over the former number one contender for the Lethal Specialists Championship!
(Winner — Hayley Valentine via submission)
(The scene opens with Madam Vega on her phone. Vega is shaking and nodding as she is listening to the person on the other line. Daisy Thrash appears in the camera shot as the crowd pops for the LAW Champion. Vega ends her call and puts her phone in her back pocket.)
Madam Vega: Daisy, what can I do for you?
Daisy Thrash: Vega, I want a match with Miranda Minors.
: You’re going to have to wait in the back of the line, champ.
(Roni De Vil enters the camera shot with a serious look on her face.)
Daisy Thrash: Am I, Roni?
Roni De Vil: You heard me. If there is anyone that deserves a match against Miranda, it’s me. The bitch literally costed me the LAW Championship. If she never interfered, the title would be around my waist. All I needed was one knockout punch to knock the lights out of you and your championship reign.
Daisy Thrash: You say that like you’re so confident I wouldn’t have kicked out of that. Do you not know who you were in the ring against? I’m the LAW Champion for a reason. It wasn’t because I was lucky. I dethroned Miranda Minors and took this title off of her. Vega, if you give me this match, I’ll be willing to put this title on the line and shut her up once again.
Roni De Vil: Don’t listen to her, Vega. Give me the match. There’s no doubt that the bitch been a pain in your ass since the first day. Since you’re not able to knock her down a peg or two, let the student, who you’ve trained to the best of your abilities do something about it. Not only, will I get my revenge for what happened at Limelight, but you will get to witnessed someone who actually gives her what she deserves.
Daisy Thrash: It blows my mind how she was selected to take part of the IJWF Championship Match. I love and respect Cam, but it seems like she was rewarding Miranda instead of punishing her.
Roni De Vil: I would have been a better representative for the IJWF Championship Match. Perhaps, I will make an appearance in that match —
Madam Vega: — Roni, Daisy, none of you are getting Miranda Minors in a match. The clause still stands: Miranda will not get another shot at a the LAW Championship for the rest of the season. And, if any of you two lay a hand on Miranda or Miranda lays a hand on either of you during the road to Collision Course, you will be suspended indefinitely.
(Daisy Thrash and Roni De Vil sigh in defeat.)
Madam Vega: Besides, I got plans for the two of you.
Roni De Vil: Are you going to make me vs. Daisy at Collision Course?
Daisy Thrash: We deserve to find a rightful winner for the match without Miranda’s lurking around.
Madam Vega: As much as I would love to match that match happen again, I can’t. Cameron Ella Ava and Azumi Goto are closing in a deal for your next opponent, Daisy. Your opponent will be announced on the next episode of JET.
Roni De Vil: That’s just great. What the hell am I supposed to do now?
Madam Vega: Roni, Cameron has given me the job of finding Isabella Verratti’s replacement on Team LAW. I know that we need a woman who is not afraid to get down a dirty. She can be gritty. She can be edgy. She is someone I knew was going to play her part and get a victory for Team LAW. When Isabella needed to be replaced, I knew the woman I want to represent LAW would be none other than Roni De Vil!
(The crowd is heard cheering as Roni De Vil still has that angry look on her face.)
Roni De Vil: What’s in it for me, Vega?
Madam Vega: Cameron is looking to reward those that lead Team LAW to victory. If you manage to be a sole survivor in the match, I’ll talk to her to having you face Miranda before this season is over.
Daisy Thrash: If this season ends and I’m still LAW Champion, send Miranda my way because I won’t mind taking care of the Miranda problem. As for right now, I don’t care who in JET is my opponent, I’m still planning on retaining at Collision Course. Give me the Ace of JET. Give me a woman, who is prepared to give it the fight of her life because this match ends like how the past few matches have — me still champion.
(Daisy Thrash leaves the camera shot, leaving Madam Vega and Roni De Vil alone.)
Roni De Vil: Alright, Vega. I’ll give it a shot. I’ll play nice, but the moment someone screws that up, I’ll make sure they regret getting on my bad side. Team LAW will be standing tall and it’s going to be because of Roni De Vil.
(Roni De Vil leaves the camera shot as Madam Vega is by herself as she nods at the direction Roni left in.)
Main Event: Sweet Winter (Sweet Roxy and Kayla Winters) vs. Sugar and Spice (Jessica Rose and Sidney Knight)
To end this episode of LAW, Sweet Winter takes on the newly formed team, Sugar and Spice. Kayla Winters and Jessica Rose start off the match for their respective teams. Kayla smirks as she and Jessica circle around each other. Kayla grabs Jessica by the arm and twists it around before kicking Jessica on her back and knocking her to her knees. Kayla counters with a quick ddt, but Jessica counters with and snap suplex as she takes down the Lethal Tag Team Champion. Jessica quickly goes for the cover, but Kayla kicks out quickly as she finds herself on her knees. Jessica stays on the offense with some shoot kicks onto the chest of Kayla Winters. With one last shoot kick and Kayla goes down. Jessica gets Kayla in a headlock before taking her to the Sugar and Spice corner and tags in Sidney Knight. The two women connect with a double suplex on Kayla before Sidney goes for the cover. Kayla manages to kick out as she quickly goes for her corner to tag in Sweet Roxy, who seems more than anxious to get inside the ring.
Kat Ricci: The so-called team of “Sweet Winter” seems to be in trouble at the moment! Sugar and Spice are showing that they are quite effective!
Sidney Knight gets Kayla Winters back on her feet as Kayla connects with a forearm onto the former Lethal Tag Team Champion. Kayla follows that up with a backbreaker on Sidney! Kayla gets Sidney in a headlock before she tags in Sweet Roxy into the match! Kayla gets Sidney and connects with a German suplex, while Sweet Roxy follows that up with a Felina (Running Curb Stomp). Sweet Roxy goes for the cover, but Sidney Knight manages to kick out at two. At this point, Sweet Roxy tries to wear down Sidney with a chinlock. Kayla, from their corner, is advising Sweet Roxy to keep Sidney down. Meanwhile at the Sugar and Spice corner, Jessica Rose is telling Sidney to hang in there. Slowly, Sidney rises to her feet as she is desperate to reach for a tag to Jessica. Sweet Roxy is shaking her head no, before she connects with a hair-pull snapmare on Sidney before going for a cover. Sidney kicks out at two as Sweet Roxy goes back to her corner and tags in Kayla back into the match!
Melissa Flash: These two are working quite well so far. Normally, these two are reading to rip each other’s heads off!
Sidney Knight is on her knees as Sweet Roxy and Kayla Winters connect with a double switchblade kick before Kayla goes for the cover on Sidney Knight. Sidney manages to kick out at two. Kayla gets Sidney and connects with a bow and arrow stretch. Sidney is crying out in pain as you can obviously see it on her face. Sidney refuses to quit the match. She needs to hang on there. Jessica Rose is trying to get the crowd behind her with claps and stomps. Soon after, the crowd just does that as Sidney manages to get herself down. Kayla decides to kick Sidney as she lands face first. Kayla picks up Sidney up, but Sidney throws a forearm Kayla’s way. Kayla connects with a forearm back to Kayla. This becomes a back and fourth things before Sidney connects with a Bittersweet Downfall (Discuss Clothesline). Both women are down and looking for a tag to their respective partners. Sidney tags in Jessica! Kayla tags in Sweet Roxy. The two women are going at it with one another! Jessica with a dropkick to Sweet Roxy, who falls to the ground. Jessica sees Sweet Roxy getting right up and connects with the RIDER KICK (Spirngboard Dropkick as Sweet Roxy) falls! Jessica goes for the cover as Kayla breaks the pinfall.
Sidney Knight manages to take Kayla Winters out of the equation with a shining wizard. Sidney Knight turns around and Sweet Roxy connects with The Tramp Stamp (Jumping Superkick). Sidney rolls out of the ring! With that distraction, Jessica Rose connects with the. Rock The Dragon Suplex (Dragon Suplex) and follows up with a Wrecking Burst (Bennadryller) on Sweet Roxy. Kayla Winters tries to break the count, but Sidney pulls her by the legs and out of the ring, giving Sugar and Spice the victory.
Kat Ricci: Sugar and Spice just defeated the Lethal Tag Team Champions! This has to be some sort of joke!
Melissa Flash: Team LAW is looking pretty good at the moment! These two could be the ones to win it for us!
(Winners —Sugar and Spice [Jessica Rose and Sidney Knight] via pinfall)
(Jessica Rose and Sidney Knight celebrate inside the ring as Sweet Roxy and Kayla Winters are at the bottom of the ramp as they demand for their Lethal Tag Team Championships. The LAW and IJWF logos appear at the bottom of the screen as it fades to black.)
