Asuka Kuramochi: The road to Cinderella Story is long but consider this as one of the last big challenges, Welcome to the finale of this year’s Spotlight tour and this year the beautiful city of Sendai will host the finale. I’m Asuka Kuramochi and I’m joined as always by my co-commentator Maki Fujioka.
Maki Fujioka: Thanks Asuka and I must say, we have a stacked card for tonight! Seven matches for all our fans, so let’s not waste any time and get right to it! Take it away Naomi!
Queen Of The World Qualifier/Four-Way Match: Natsu Toyama vs. Hanna Rockford vs. Amy Slayton vs. Vivace Fortissimo
Summary: The opening of tonight’s contest saw the first four-way match that would determine one of the two JET representatives for the Queen Of The World. All four women went at it as it was a huge opportunity to be a part of the headline feature of Collision Course II. Each of the four got to showcase what they had as Hanna Rockford and Natsu Toyama went at it along with Vivace and Amy. The match was fast-paced and with a lot of nearly falls. The finishing stretch saw Amy Slayton and Vivace Fortissimo left in the ring. Vivace soon swung with her left but Amy got a hold of her left hand and Slayton soon grabbed Vivace’s right hand has as well before hitting a Devil Trigger to the standing Vivace who went down to her knees soon after. Slayton nailed another Devil Trigger before pulling Vivace up for a Devil’s Dance and sealing her spot for the win.
(Winner - Amy Slayton)
Queen Of The World Qualifier/Four-Way Match: Rio Kurokawa vs. Tomoyo Hirate vs. Ai Moe vs. Rei Kagura
The second Queen Of The World qualifier for JET as now we figured out on who would join Amy Slayton as another QOTW rep for JET. Quite a matchup was ahead of us. For the first time ever, the JET fans got to see former tag team champs Rio Kurokawa and Tomoyo Hirate face off against one another. Meanwhile Rei Kagura used every dirty trick in her book to seal the win. Similar to the first match, the action was fast-paced and exciting. It came down in the end to the former tag partners, Tomoyo looked to end the match as she went for Project Epsilon but Rio was able to leap out it. She soon nails her tag partner with a huge Catalyst Toll as Tomoyo goes down to her knees. One more Catalyst Toll by Rio and she is able to end the match with a brutal Ketsueki Toll for the win!
(Winner - Rio Kurokawa)

(Commercial Break promoting JET’s biggest event of the season Cinderella Story 2020! LIVE from Nippon Budokan!)
Naomi Serizawa stands in the center of the ring as it’s time for one of the first marquee matches of the event.
Naomi Serizawa: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN!!! THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL!!
“Touch Off” by UVERWorld plays as the crowd excitingly cheer for the arrival of Sora Todoh who makes her way down to the ring wearing a blue and white attire.
Naomi Serizawa: Introducing first, FROM OKAYAMA, JAPAN… SHE IS THE SHOOTING STAR!!! TODOOOOOHHH SORAAAAAA!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: Our first major singles match of the evening is set to go underway, Sora Todoh is out first as we have seen her grow since her debut. Todoh could really cement her spot in JET if she can do the unthinkable by not only beating KAGUYA once this year but twice.
Sora enters the ring where is greeted with cheers and streamers from the crowd in attendance. Soon “Touch Off” is replaced with AC/DC’s “Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap”. KAGUYA makes her presence known as she makes her way down to the ring wearing her signature Supershow White attire.
Naomi Serizawa: AND HER OPPONENT… FROM OSAKA, JAPAN!! SHE IS REPRESENTING KAGUYA-GUN… THE BLACK HEART GENERAL!! KAGUYAAAAAAAAAA!!!!
Maki Fujioka: Speaking of KAGUYA, she has not been in a good mood as ever since losing her JET World Championship to Midori at Lethal Takeover, she hasn’t been able to rebound. She had a massive advantage going into the last night of RISE Grand Prix where she faced Sora who was zero points. Carelessness and cockiness got the better of her and she was eliminated and her GP run ruined as she was the only person to lose to Todoh. KAGUYA wanted this match and got it by the board of directors. She’s been outspoken about her hatred towards Stephanie Matsuda and Azumi Goto, KAGUYA wants her message to be sent.
KAGUYA soon enters the ring as there is a glare directly at Sora Todoh, she soon is pulled back by Yuri Watanabe and sent towards her corner.
Singles Match: KAGUYA vs. Sora Todoh
(DING DING DING!!!)
With the sound of the bell, this grudge match is underway, both KAGUYA and Sora walk to the center of the ring where Sora extends her hand for a handshake but it seems that KAGUYA doesn’t want to shake hands as she flips Sora off. Sora isn’t phased by this and withdraws her hand as the two of them begin circling the ring. Both women lock up in a collar-elbow tie-up and immediately KAGUYA begins to lay into Sora’s legs with a series of stiff Shoot kicks, Sora is able to break the tie-up and begins to run to the ropes, but is cut short as KAGUYA nails her with a thrust kick. KAGUYA begins taunting Sora, but Yuri Watanabe orders her to back off to give Sora room. The Black Heart shrugs as she begins to taunt the crowd. Sora capitalizes on this as she gets up and hits KAGUYA with a Running Dropkick right onto KAGUYA’s back. Sora doesn’t waste any time as she lifts KAGUYA up and begins to lay into her with a series of stiff Knife-Edged Chops but KAGUYA begins to answer back with a series of Elbow Smashes and ends with a Roaring Elbow sending Sora onto the ropes! KAGUYA seizing this opportunity begins to run towards Sora and nails her with a Clothesline sending both women onto the apron!
KAGUYA waste no time on getting Sora onto her feet and applies a waist lock signaling for a German Suplex onto the apron, but Sora is fighting it as she begins throwing Back Elbows. Those Elbow strikes aren’t strong enough as KAGUYA lifts Sora and nails a German Suplex right onto the apron! Sora landed hard onto the apron and KAGUYA gets back on the apron and begins slapping the face of Sora as she lies motionless on the apron taunting her. KAGUYA begins to kicks Sora on the side forcing her to roll into the ring, and Sora begins to stand up but KAGUYA wastes no time and nails Sora with a Springboard Dropkick right in the face. KAGUYA quickly covers.
Yuri Watanabe: ONEEEEEEEE!!!
Sora is somehow able to kick out and KAGUYA is stunned by this, but Sora waste no time as she gets up and begins a flurry of Knife-Edge Chops once again. Sora follows that up with a Snapmare and she quickly heads to the rope and hits KAGUYA with a Neck Snap and follows it with a Basement Dropkick. KAGUYA is downed, but Sora isn’t going for pin instead she heads onto the apron and nails KAGUYA with a Springboard Senton. There is a Sora chant that begins to happen when Sora lands a hard Double Foot Stomp right onto the sternum of KAGUYA! Sora quickly goes for the cover.
Yuri Watanabe: ONEEEEEEE!!!! TWOOOO!!!!
KAGUYA is able to kickout right at the two count as Sora is shocked by this but seizing her opportunity Sora runs to the ropes and goes for Greased Lightning, but KAGUYA moves out of the way just in time as Sora lands right on her face and KAGUYA capitalizing on her mistake quickly applies a Single Leg Boston Crab onto Sora’s left leg. Sora is screaming in pain as she begins to crawl to the ropes, but KAGUYA isn't showing signs of letting up. Sora manages to get to the ropes and KAGUYA is forced to break the hold as Yuri counts to five, KAGUYA steps back and allows Sora to get up to her feet only for Sora to come charging towards KAGUYA. Sora plants KAGUYA with a Running Hurricanrana and wastes no time in quickly putting KAGUYA into the Straight Shooter! Sora is wrenching it back as far as she can go and the pain of it is painted onto KAGUYA as Sora does! KAGUYA slowly makes her to the rope to break the hold, but Sora with all her strength pulls KAGUYA back into the middle of the ring and keeps wrenching the hold even more. KAGUYA begins to crawl once again towards the ropes and Sora tries to keep resisting it, but KAGUYA makes it to the ropes and Yuri forces Sora to break the hold. KAGUYA is slow to raise up, and Sora is watching her closely as runs to the ropes, but KAGUYA counted on that and counters Sora’s Clothesline attempt into a Sleeper Hold!
Now, KAGUYA is the one with submission locked end and she keeps her grip tight as Sora’s Back Elbows begin to slowly fade away. As Sora begins to fade away she drops to both knees, and KAGUYA seizes this moment to let go of the Sleeper Hold and strike Sora with a stiff Pitch Black Kick! The sound of it echoes throughout the arena as the crowd is silent and in shock by what they are witnessing. KAGUYA heads to the corner and is set up for the Queen Crimson. KAGUYA begins to charge towards Sora, but at the last second Sora dodges it and KAGUYA lands right on her back! Sora isn’t wasting time as nails KAGUYA with another Double Foot Stomp and lifts her up and hits a Shotgun Dropkick sending KAGUYA straight into the corner with such force the KAGUYA stumbles forward a bit falling onto one knee! Sora making short work as she drills KAGUYA with a Greased Lighting and it connects! KAGUYA is laid out flat and is motionless! Sora begins to climb up the turnbuckles quickly as she knows this is her only shoot, and she hits the Sky Twister right on KAGUYA and the crowd is explosive by this! Sora quickly goes for the cover!
Yuri Watanabe: ONEEEEEEE!!!! TWOOOOOOO! THREE---
No! KAGUYA manages to break the pin by simply rolling her shoulder up! Sora and the crowd are in awe by this! Sora can’t believe it and as KAGUYA makes it to her feet Sora begins to lay into her with a flurry of Knife-Edge Chops and Shoot Kicks. Sora is releasing all of her anger right now onto KAGUYA and KAGUYA begins to answer back with her own flurry of Elbows and Shoot Kicks. The two women are going back and forth, not giving the other an inch, but KAGUYA nails Sora with a Roaring Elbow and follows it with a Uraken! Sora is kneeling now and KAGUYA drills Sora with the Pitch Black Kick again with more impact than before. KAGUYA now is in the corner and has her eyes dead set on Sora. Sora slowly begins to rear up, but KAGUYA sees the opportunity and begins charging towards the downed Sora. KAGUYA nails Sora with the Queen Crimson! She nailed her with all her force and Sora seems to be knocked out! KAGUYA quickly goes for the cover!
Yuri Watanabe: ONEEEEEEEEE!!! TWOOOOOOOOOO!! THREEEEEEEEE!!!!
(DING DING DING!!!!)
“Dirty Deeds Done Dirt Cheap” by AC/DC plays as KAGUYA slowly rises to her knees with a look of satisfaction! She knows the damage she has done to Sora and is proud of it! Referee Yuri Watanabe raises her hand as the loud boos begin to fill the arena as KAGUYA soon begins to make her way out.
Naomi Serizawa: The winner of this match by pinfall… KAAAAGUUUUYAAAAAA!!!
Maki Fujioka: A statement win for KAGUYA but what a performance by Sora Todoh. She threw everything and then some at the former JET World Champion but in the end, it wasn’t to be for Sora.
KAGUYA looks back as she is a little impressed and has a grin on her face before walking to the back. Sora Todoh is helped up as she is applauded for her hard work from the Sendai crowd, her first major singles match and she impressed so many. Sora is helped to the back by the young girls as the camera cuts to commercial.
(Commercial Break to hype up JET in 2020!)
We cut to ringside where "ADAMAS" by LiSA plays as Machiko Hasegawa and Yuki Takigawa walkout to much fanfare.
Naomi Serizawa: The following is TAG TEAM MATCH WITH A 30-MINUTE TIME LIMIT AND IT IS FOR THE JET TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIPS! First, making their way to the ring! The team of Machiko Hasegawa and Yuki Takigawa!
Maki Fujioka: I really like this pairing. These are two wrestlers who seem to be on the same page. Machiko has made it her personal mission to dethrone Wolfegang Symphony who she feels doesn’t deserve to be champions.
Asuka Kuramochi: Regardless of her feelings, their opponents have demonstrated their dominance in the JET Tag Team scene as they did back in LAW. They will need to outsmart Sharpe and Wolfe if they want to walk out of here the new champions.
As Machiko and Yuki climb into the ring, “Roundtable Rival” by Lindsey Sterling starts playing as Wolfegang Symphony walks out hand-in-hand with the JET Tag Team Championships wrapped around their waists. With smug looks, they slowly walk to the ring.
Naomi Serizawa: Their opponents...and your JET TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS OF THE WORLD! VIVINA WOLFE! BETHANY SHARPE! WOLFEGANG SYMPHONY!
Bethany and Vivina climb into the ring and strut around with their titles before handing them off to the ref.
JET Tag Team Championship Match: Wolfegang Symphony (Bethany Sharpe & Vivina Wolfe) (c) vs. Machiko Hasegawa & Yuki Takigawa
(DING! DING! DING!)
The bell rings and immediately Wolfegang Symphony assault their opponents before they even knew what hit them! After stomping on Yuki, Bethany grabs Machiko to deliver the Encore! (Running one-handed bulldog by Sharpe onto Wolfe's knee then a double knee drop by Sharpe), followed by both women shoving Hasegawa into the ring post, shoulder-first! Yuki gets to her feet and knocks Bethany down with a big boot as Machiko rolls out of the ring in pain. The ref orders for Vivina to go to her team’s corner to create some order in this match. Bethany begins fighting back as Yuki pulls her up, who whips her into the ropes. Wolfe makes a surprise tag as Bethany rebounds and slides under a second big boot. She counters with a waistlock, but Yuki elbows her way out of the hold. Realizing that Vivina is now the legal woman, she goes after her, but Vivina ducks a strike and counters with slamming her face against the ropes. Yuki bounces off the ropes into Bethany’s grasp who seals the deal with Counterpoint (Standing shiranui), allowing Vivina to make the cover.
Yuri Watanabe: ONE! TWO!
Takigawa kicks out at two, stunned by the onslaught of the tag champs. Wolfe mounts her and delivers several stiff forearms to the face before pulling her up by the hair. She makes a tag to Bethany who comes in for Shattered Note no. 2 (Big Boot from Wolfe/Leg Sweep by Sharpe). Bethany starts taunting a prone Yuki, who’s doing her best to get to her feet. Out of pure frustration, Yuki tackles Bethany into the corner and delivers several shoulder thrusts to the gut. Unfortunately for her, Vivina is within reach and tags herself in, separating the two with several stiff forearms to the back. As Bethany retreats to the apron, Vivina sets up for a scoop brainbuster. Yuki fights out of it and knocks Wolfe down with and uppercut. She tries to attack Bethany, who ducks low. Vivina grabs Yuki from behind for a roll-up, but Takigawa quickly rolls through and punishes Wolfe with a throat thrust. Before Bethany could interfere, Machiko pulled her down ringside and delivered a vicious Hasegawa Lariat (Short Ranged High-Impact Lariat)! Meanwhile, Yuki hits a Rope DDT and climbs to the top rope. She flies off for Path to the Moon (Moonsault Stomp), but misses! Vivina quickly rolls her up and puts her feet on the ropes for leverage!
Yuri Watanabe: ONE! TWO! THREE!
(DING! DING! DING!)
"Roundtable Rival" by Lindsey Stirling plays as Vivina rolls out of the ring and runs over to attend to her partner, as a confused Machiko slides into the ring.
Naomi Serizawa: Your winners by pinfall and still your JET Tag Team Champions...Wolfegang Symphony!
Maki Fujioka: By hook and crook Bethany Sharpe and Vivina Wolfe retain their tag belts! Referee Watanabe didn’t see Vivina’s feet on the ropes!
Asuka Kuramochi: Everything was happening so fast, that it became a slight oversight. But that oversight just cost Hasegawa and Takigawa the tag belts.
Wolfegang Symphony grabs their belts from ringside and taunts Machiko and Yuki who can only look on in disappointment.
(Five-minute intermission)
We return to ringside as Naomi Serizawa is in the center of the ring ready to go for tonight’s next contest.
Naomi Serizawa: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one-fall with a 20-minute time limit! AND IT IS FOR THE JET Academy Championship!!
“Say You Will” by Evanescense plays as the challenger for this contest is first out. Talia Areano makes her way to the ring to a positive reaction.
Naomi Serizawa: Introducing first...FROM BUENOS AIRES, ARGENTINA BY THE WAY OF MEXICO CITY, MEXICO! SHE IS THE CHALLENGER… TALIAAAAA AREEEANOOO!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: Ladies and gentlemen, it’s time for our second title match of the evening and Talia Areano looks ready to win, Maki-san.
Maki Fujioka: You’re right and Talia has been quite impressive in her JET tenure, the well-traveled veteran impressed fans during the RISE Grand Prix and Miss Manami Tributary Shield. It has been an amazing run so far for Talia but she has an opponent who has been just as impressive.
Talia makes her way inside of the ring as she poses for the fans and greeted with streamers thrown at her. Soon “Say You Will” is replaced by “Rising Hope” and it means the arrival of the Academy Champion. Momoko Honda makes her way out from the back wearing her standard blue, white and black attire. The Academy championship around her waist, she soon makes her way down towards the ring as the crowd is cheering for her.
Naomi Serizawa: And her opponent, from Kyoto, Japan! SHE IS THE STAR WARRIOR AND JET ACADEMY CHAMPION…. HONDAAAAAAAA MOMOKO!!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: The JET Academy Champion is here and the crowd is electric. For the past couple of months, Momo-chan has become one of the biggest stars for JET. She has been on fire since her title at Goddess Dream in August and already has her first under her belt but let’s see if she can get the second one.
Maki Fujioka: Momoko has already faced Talia once before during the RISE Grand Prix and it was the challenger who picked up the win but there is something huge on the line this time around. Momoko’s championship reign is at stake.
Momoko Honda enters the ring as she holds her belt high in the air and poses for the fans who throw blue streamers into the ring for her. She soon hands her belt to Yuri Watanabe who raises it in the air for all to see before passing it to Naomi and asking for the bell to be rung.
Singles Match/JET Academy Championship Match: Momoko Honda (c/v1) vs. Talia Areano
(DING DING DING!!)
Both competitors move to the center of the ring where they both shake hands before the contest can start. They soon begin to circle the ring as Momoko and Talia lock up in a collar-elbow tie-up. Talia with the size advantage is able to push Momoko back against the rope and soon is told by Yuri Watanabe to break the hold. Talia soon breaks the hold but not without patting Momoko on the chest and telling her to try again. Both competitors return to the center of the ring where they lock one again but this time Momoko is the who is able to push Talia to the rope despite her size disadvantage. Momoko now slowly breaks her hold, almost quick as lightning bolt Momoko goes for a roundhouse but Talia ducks just in time. Momoko soon steps back and with a playful grin, she tells Talia how close she was. For a third time, Champion and Challenger meet in the center of the ring as Talia raises her hand looking for a test of strength but Momoko with a swift kick to the gut of Talia before snapmaring her to a seated position and following up with a swift and loud kick to the back! The sound of Momoko’s kick pad hitting Talia’s back can be heard throughout the arena. Momoko soon follows up with another loud kick, this time to the chest of Talia! Cover now by the champion!
Yuri Watanabe: ONEEEE! TWO---
Talia kicks out just before the two count could finish as she wisely rolls out of the ring to catch some air and get some distance between her and Momoko. The Champion persists and is on the attack as she heads outside as well, Momoko soon Irish opponent into the steel post but Talia is able to stop before she gets hurt. Momoko charges with a running chest kick but Talia is able to sidestep and Momoko’s leg hits hard on the failed kick attempt. You can see the Academy Champion in some pain as she soon holds her leg. Talia goes onto the attack and grabs Momoko’s leg as she hits a BIG Dragon Screw!
Momoko is on the ground holding her left leg in pain and Talia reenters the ring. Yuri Watanabe begins her count as Momoko is struggling to get up to her feet, Momoko is able to make it up to her feet and climbs onto the apron. Talia approaches Momoko but she is hit with a forearm shot from the Star Warrior! Momoko now tries hit Talia with a shoulder block between the ropes but Talia is able to sidestep it and land a kick to the gut. Talia soon follows with a jumping Solar Shower (Double Foot Stomp) to the back of Momoko. The challenger soon pulls her opponent back into the ring and goes for the cover!
Yuri Watanabe: ONEEEEEE!!! TWOOOOOO!!! THREEE---
Momoko kicks out as Talia is on the attack, she pulls Momoko to the center of the ring and locks in a single leg crab to target Momoko’s left leg. Momo seems to be in massive pain as she tries to fight and claw towards the ropes but Talia has the single leg crab in tight. Momoko showing her fighting spirit as she slowly makes her way to the nearest bottom rope and forces Talia to give up the submission attempt. Talia is soon told to move away as referee Watanabe checks up on Momoko who can still go. Momoko gets up slowly as Talia rushes her but Momoko had it scouted, the Academy Champion sidesteps and grabs Talia in a waist lock. Snap German Suplex with bridge from Momoko, can this seal a win?!
Yuri Watanabe: ONEEEEEEE!!! TWOOOOOO!!!!

The Champion fires a loud kick to the chest, followed up by another one. The kicks can be heard loudly from the cheap seats, Talia seems to be absorbing the punishment as Momoko fires more kicks before nailing Talia with a snap Roundhouse Kick. Momoko soon makes her move and rushes the ropes but she is slow on her first couple of steps as her leg is still in pain. She is able to run the ropes and rushes back at Talia who is up to her feet and LANDS ANOTHER Solar Shower! Cover by the challenger!
Yuri Watanabe: ONEEEEEE!!! TWOOOOOOOO!!! THREEE----
Momoko kicked out at two and a half! The Academy Champ is still in it and the crowd is amazed, Talia Areano seemingly is getting frustrated that Momoko kicked out but she soon composes herself and quickly gets Momoko up. She has the Star Warrior in position for a Slice Of Heaven but Momoko slips behind, she has Talia in a schoolgirl pin!
Yuri Watanabe: ONEEEEE!!! TWOOOOO!!
Talia kicks out as she is on her knees as Momoko is up on to her feet! The Academy Champion soon nails ANOTHER Roundhouse Kick to the side of her head! A brutal shot from Momoko as she rushes forward at Talia AND THE CHAMP CONNECTS THE TSUNAMI STRIKE! Cover by Momoko Honda!

Yuri Watanabe: ONEEEEEE!!!! TWOOOOOOO!!! THREEEEEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!!!)
“Rising Hope” by LiSA plays once more as Momoko gets off Talia with a sigh of relief on her face. She soon is helped by the young lions who help her up to her feet.
Naomi Serizawa: YOUR WINNER AND STILL JET ACADEMY CHAMPION… HOOOOONNNNNDAAAAAA MOMOKOOOOOOO!!!!
Maki Fujioka: What a fantastic match between two of our rising stars. Momoko Honda is able to continue her title reign heading into the new year.
Asuka Kuramochi: You’re definitely right. Momoko and Talia had an amazing bout but Talia, in the end, made one mistake of attempting The Slice Of Heaven one too many times and it seemed Momoko was ready for that move.
Momoko is soon handed her championship belt by referee Yuri Watanabe as Talia soon regains consciousness and is helped to her feet with an Ice Pack on the back of her neck. Momoko soon approaches Talia and extends her hand, Talia gladly accepts as the champion and challenger shook hands. Talia soon left the ring to loud applause from the crowd but soon there is a sound of surprise in the venue, someone is making their way from the back…. IT’S IZM AND SHE HAS A MINIATURE VERSION OF MISS MANMI TRIBUTARY SHIELD TROPHY. She soon enters the ring and is handed a microphone from Naomi Serizawa.
IZM: Congrats Momo-chan on a successful defense, Talia is quite strong but so am I. You know this well since we did face off at RISE Grand Prix and wrestled a time-limit draw. If possible, I would like you to not defend your title at Collision because I want to face you for that championship at CINDERELLA STORY inside the Budokan.
There is a massive pop from the crowd as it seems IZM will be cashing in her guaranteed title shot for a match against Momoko Honda for the JET Academy Champion at Cinderella Story 2020. IZM soon extends her hand towards her future opponent and Momoko gladly accept.
Momoko Honda: Let’s do our best then, IZM-chan.
IZM: I intend to do just that.
Both the future challenger and champion look at one another before IZM takes her leave and Momoko is left in the ring to celebrate as the camera soon fades to black.
(Commercial for Collision Course II and the Queen Of The World tournament plays.)
We return to ringside as a video package begins to play featuring the rivalry between SAIKO and Mizuki Nakata this year. Footage from their first match at Goddess Dream with SAIKO going over and followed up with the second match in the RISE Grand Prix B Block decider. The video highlights how we got to this point as it was SAIKO blindsiding Mizuki after her anniversary celebration match and challenging her to one of the most brutal deathmatch types known to man, a LIGHT TUBES DEATHMATCH.
We soon cut to ringside where the ring is surrounded by light tubes for the two competitors to use along with each ring corner having a half a dozen placed against them. Naomi Serizawa rather than being inside the ring is outside, right next to the timekeeper. Soon “PA PA YA” by BABYMETAL plays as SAIKO makes her way from the back wearing her signature black attire with the only difference is purple highlights on the edges., there seems to a negative reaction in the crowd as she doesn’t care about them.
Naomi Serizawa: The following contest is a LIGHT TUBES DEATHMATCH WITH A THIRTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT AND IT IS FOR 2019 RISE GP TITLE MATCH CONTRACT!! INTRODUCING FIRST…From Kabuchiko, Tokyo, Japan!! REPRESENTING KAGUYA-GUN… She is “The Japanese Death Legend” SAAAAAIKO!!!!
Maki Fujioka: This is something we don’t get to see every day, a light tubes deathmatch is a scary thing but this is something that SAIKO herself wanted over anything else. During the press conference, she stepped out of line but it seems the match was decided to go on as planned.
Asuka Kuramochi: Maki-san, this woman is nuts and we’re letting her wrestle a match that she can very much take seriously, she might simply want to hurt Mizuki Nakata.
Maki Fujioka: You’re forgetting that Mizuki has a background as a deathmatch wrestler.
SAIKO enters the ring as she looks around the ring with evil and devilish grin, spotting the light tubes around the ring. Soon the music changes to “Rage of Dust” by Spyair and the crowd pop for a massive ovation. The RISE Grand Prix winner makes her way down to the ring, wearing black and white attire. She has her RISE Grand Prix Briefcase in one hand and in the other is her signature kendo stick ready to go for tonight’s show.
Asuka Kuramochi: The score is 1-1 and Mizuki hopes to make it 2-1 as she definitely wants to retain and reach Cinderella Story. There is a lot on the line, a blood feud to end and Mizuki’s chance to create history with three straight Cinderella Story main events if she can win here tonight.
Maki Fujioka: As previously stated, Mizuki Nakata has a background in Deathmatch wrestling but she retired from deathmatches when the responsibilities of being JET World Champion came in during her first and only reign. This is something else, Light Tubes surrounding the ring and inside the ring, for them to use. It helps Mizuki also brought her signature kendo stick as well.
Mizuki enters the ring as she raises her briefcase for all to see and especially her rival, SAIKO who mouths off Mizuki.
Naomi Serizawa: And her opponent! From Sera, Hiroshima, Japan… SHE IS THE WINNER OF THE 2019 RISE GRAND PRIX AND THE ACE OF JET! NAAAAAKATAAAA MIZUUUUUKIIIII!!!!
She soon hands her briefcase to referee Yuri Watanabe who raises it in the air before passing it to Naomi Serizawa who is standing outside before signaling the bell to be rung.
Light Tubes Deathmatch/Cinderella Story 2020 Title Match on the line: Mizuki Nakata (h/v0) vs. SAIKO
(DING DING DING!!!)
And with the opening bell, both women charge at one another as they collide with shoulder tackles. Neither is backing an inch as they start to go at one another with forearms! A brawl as broke out between the two of them, Mizuki and SAIKO continued to show their distaste for one another! Mizuki is soon getting the advantage as she hits a barrage of forearms and attempts to hit a Lanikea but SAIKO is able to escape with some big shots to the side of Mizuki’s head. SAIKO is now behind her opponent as she turns Mizuki around and tries to Irish-whip her into the ropes where more light tubes are set up for them. Mizuki is able to stop just in time as she turns around to SAIKO running at her and hitting a dropkick! Mizuki crashes back first into the light tubes as a couple of them shatter. The camera on the outside to catch a shot of Mizuki’s back as bits of the shattered light tubes are sticking out. SAIKO soon begins to attack as she quickly pulls Mizuki and immediately hits a snap suplex and look of complete pain appears on Mizuki’s face. SAIKO goes for the cover.
Yuri Watanabe: ONNNNNEEEEEEE!!!! TWO----
SAIKO returns to attacking Mizuki, she soon turns her opponent around and immediately presses her knees against Mizuki’s back. There is a small chant for Mizuki as the crowd is supporting her, meanwhile, SAIKO quickly gets off and nail Mizuki with a handstand knee drop against the back. Once again the pain on Mizuki’s face is showing as SAIKO with another cover but Mizuki kicks out again. It seems SAIKO is in full control as she immediately picks up Mizuki after the kick out and attempts a power slam but Mizuki is able to stop that. She slips behind and immediately locks in a waist lock! BIG RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX FROM MIZUKI! This gives the Ace some breathing room between her and her rival. The Ace of JET now looks around and immediately pulls two light tubes off the ropes and drops them down on the floor. Mizuki now with her bodyslam attempt as she drops SAIKO back first into the light tubes. Both light tubes shatter as SAIKO seems to be utter pain. Mizuki quickly gets out of the ring and looks under the ring as she pulls out two chairs, sliding them under the ring and entering back in herself.
SAIKO still seems to be in pain as her rival Mizuki seems to be returning to her deathmatch and hardcore routes as she quickly grabs one of the chairs. The Ace of JET with no remorse nails a brutal shot to the back. She soon sets the chair on the ground near the corner as she immediately picks SAIKO hits her with a slam onto the chair and the sight of pain. Mizuki immediately goes to the middle turnbuckle of the corner as she leaps for a Double Knee Drop but SAIKO is able to move out of the way. Mizuki’s knees land directly with the chair as the Japanese Death Legend soon grabs a hold of the second chair that Mizuki brought into the ring AND THROWS IT RIGHT INTO THE FACE OF THE ACE! The sound of metal crashing into the face of Mizuki can be heard as Mizuki is slow to her feet. SAIKO seems to be patiently waiting before charging right at her rival! RUNNING FRONT DROPKICK INTO THE ROPES! Mizuki’s back just collided with more light tubes as they shatter and pieces break onto the back of The Chosen One. “Rage of Dust” by Spyair plays as the fans cheer, meanwhile young girls and medical personnel make their way to help Mizuki and SAIKO. The carnage was finally done, Mizuki was the first to get up as she handed her RISE Grand Prix briefcase.
Asuka Kuramochi: What! A! War! These two went at one another with vile and malicious intent as it showed but in the end, Mizuki keeps her dream of the Cinderella Story three-peat continues. It can not be denied that SAIKO put in one of the biggest performances of her career. She just wasn’t able to land that vicious Psycho Impaler as it might have been able to get her the win.
Maki Fujioka: Maybe so but in the end tonight, we see Mizuki Nakata walking away with her RISE Grand Prix Briefcase in hand.
SAIKO is soon helped out of the ring by Julia Zhang and Rei Kagura as Mizuki is on her knees clutching her briefcase tightly before leaving the ring and high-fiving fans on her way slowly to the back. The camera soon fades to black for an intermission.
(15-Minute Intermission)
As we return from intermission we cut to the classic video showcasing every woman that has held the JET World Championship as it goes from the first-ever champion and company founder, Miss Manami to current champion Midori Miyamoto. The camera focuses back on the ring that has been cleaned up with not a single shard or light tube left in or around the ring. Naomi Serizawa soon takes her spot in the center of the ring, ready to go for tonight’s next contest.
Naomi Serizawa: Ladies and Gentlemen, the following contest is your MAIN EVENT of the evening, scheduled for one fall WITH A SIXTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT AND IT IS FOR THE JET WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP!!!!
“Spitfire” by Prodigy plays as the crowd gives a negative response to the challenger. JUNKO makes her way from the back wearing her trademark black and red attire followed closely behind by her second for this match, Rei Kagura. The Child of Despair seems to not care about the negative response towards her.
Maki Fujioka: After being suspended in February due to her actions at the inaugural Collision Course, JUNKO returned with what felt like vengeance towards JET. An amazing run in this year’s RISE Grand Prix where she nearly took her block and was in the running throughout the entire tournament. A run that included a statement win over her opponent tonight.
Asuka Kuramochi: JUNKO enters her first singles title match in her JET tenure with a huge opportunity. Midori Miyamoto has been on top of JET for quite a while and after their match at RISE Grand Prix, it seems like JUNKO has had her number. Both women talked about how important this match was during the press conference and it shows right now.
JUNKO soon enters the ring as she is guided to her corner and soon “Spitfire” is replaced by Midori Miyamoto’s theme. “Ashes” by Lynch play as the crowd cheer for the arrival of the JET World Champion and soon Midori makes her way from back wearing her trademark pink and black attire along with her white jacket. The JET World Champion is around her waist as the crowd is definitely siding with the champ over her challenger.
Maki Fujioka: The crowd is electric for Midori Miyamoto as entering with two successful defenses under her belt and looking for that all-important V3 to end the year on a high note. She has quite ahead as JUNKO and her have been opponents multiple times last, ranging from RISE Together for the Trios titles, RISE Grand Prix Finals, Kyoto Spotlight but this will be their first singles match.
Asuka Kuramochi: But Midori also has an unbreakable spirit during these title defenses, almost a side where she pulls out all of her energy to keep her belt. We saw that during her two title defenses and during the Champions Triple Threat at Trifecta, the JET World Champion has cemented herself at the top of JET and it’s going to be a massive challenge from JUNKO to overcome that.
Midori enters the ring as there is a tense staredown between champion and challenger. Midori seems unfazed by the death glare of her challenger as she is guided to her corner by Yuri Watanabe. “Ashes” soon fades as the focus is once again on Naomi Serizawa who is ready to go.

Asuka Kuramochi: An unbelievable way to cap off our Sendai Spotlight tour with one of the best JET Championship matches I have ever seen. JUNKO and Midori Miyamoto went to war as they tried their hardest to put away one another but in the end, JUNKO just came short at overthrowing the Hybrid Dragon and bringing the JET World Championship back to KAGUYA-Gun.
Midori gets up to her feet slowly as she is handed her JET World Championship, she looks at JUNKO is being escorted out of the ring with the help of Rei Kagura and Julia Zhang.
Maki Fujioka: That woman did an amazing job, JUNKO showcased how brutal her offense can be as she threw everything at Midori. If she was able to land that Dark Impulse near the end of the match, you could make the case that she would be standing in Midori’s place as the new JET World Champ. This definitely won’t be the last time we see here in this position as a contender for the JET World Championship.
Asuka Kuramochi: Ladies and Gentlemen, what a tour this has been and what a way to cap off 2019. We hope you all enjoyed Sendai Spotlight, signing off for partner Maki Fujioka, I’m Asuka Kuramochi. I hope you enjoy your holidays and we will see you in 2020 for our road to Collision Course!
