The first Press Conference is underway as Yoko Kudo is sitting in the middle of the panel with both team Momoko and team KAGUYA taking a seat on each side. Midori leans forward and adjusts her microphone slightly.
Midori Miyamoto: What are my motivations for this match? I think that’s pretty simple, at least from my perspective. The opposing team stuck their noses in something that didn’t concern them. Momoko, Kyoko, and myself were engaged in a match last week. It was going well. Everyone was working hard, finding their footing—and then we were all attacked. Why? Because KAGUYA, JUNKO, and Saiko Hotaru have messed up ideals.
Midori runs her fingers through her hair.
Midori Miyamoto: KAGUYA spoke about the three of us dreaming to be heroes. I can’t speak for Momoko or Kyoko, but being a hero was never in the plans when I joined JET. I joined JET because it was a new experience. I’ve been wrestling all throughout California for the past couple of years. My trainers and the promoters told me I always did well, but I wasn’t satisfied with that. I always felt like I could do more in the ring, do better in the ring. That’s why I’m here. I knew coming here to Japan would challenge me and show what I was about in the ring. Simply put, I came to JET to grow, not to be a hero.
She shrugs her shoulders as she looks over at the trio.
Midori Miyamoto: But if the three of you all want to make me become a hero, make the three of us become heroes, then that’s on you. I’ll play the role. I’d be more than happy to put you three down for the count.
She lets out a tiny laugh.
Midori Miyamoto: You ruined my debut match, after all. It’s only fair that myself and my team ruin whatever grand moment you think you’re going to have at Sakura Blooming.
She nods her head.
Midori Miyamoto: However, this match isn’t exactly about getting some revenge. That’s a bi-product, yeah. But it’s also about going out there and showing the what we can really do out there. Yeah, we’re kicking the show off. However, everyone is still going to be talking about our performance when the night has ended.
Midori nods as she sits back in her seat.

JUNKO up until now has been sitting lackadaisically in her seat with her feet rested upon the table, her dark hair draped over her face. Swirling the rose wine bottle in her hand, she listens to Midori's remarks without any change of expression. Though the second she finished, she whips her hair back out of her eyes as she picks the microphone out of its holster. She keeps her head low to the desk, her arms folded with the microphone near her lips, her low tone of voice being picked up."You speak of my motivations, Midori, that our collective ideals are "messed up"... but do you really know what my motivations are? No, of course, you don't. You're just another starry-eyed child, innocent to the harsh world that professional wrestling truly is at its core. The harsh reality that would bring you to your knees in despair. I know this because I have seen despairs face, with its hands reaching out to me. I took its hand, I let it guide me through a meadow of wilting flowers. And it brought me joy, joy beyond anyone's understanding." A small, uncomforting smirk paints itself onto her face as she looks out to the press in attendance. "I was once like little Midori over there, ambitious, full of youthful fire. But that was piece by piece taken away from me, as I danced around like your everyday run-of-the-mill idol. I danced in the background, given the silly name of "Chi Chi Watanabe" and made fodder for brighter, more youthful stars. That is when despair came knocking at my door, like an old friend to comfort me." A chuckle escapes the lips of JUNKO, the press looking uneasy at how grim she see's the world around her. She takes a hearty swig from her rose wine bottle, slamming it down onto the desk that startles the front row as she looks over to the babyface tandem at the other side of the desk. "But I guess I have danced around the question enough. My motivation, personally, is to introduce you to the benefits of despair, to extinguish that idiotic heroic fire that consumes your souls. My motivations are to show you that heroes are a bygone concept, a title wasted on acts that are trivial and without reward. This is why we attacked you and ruined your precious debut match up, Midori. To show you that heroes live in the moment, but they do not live forever. They start young, they will die young. And for the three of you, you're treading a very thin line to your own destruction. My motivation is to be the calming breeze that knocks you off your balance and send you spiralling... spiralling... SPIRALLING!!!." Her voice turns into an ear-piercing shriek as she repetitively slams the bottom of the bottle into the desk, the crazed look in her eyes becomes a bloodshot void. She'd collect herself and finish her sentence with a grim tone. "Down into the loving arms of despair." She leans back in her seat, a chuckle escaping her lips once more as she stares up at the ceiling with the microphone in one hand and her bottle in the other, losing herself in thought.

Midori listens to JUNKO speak. The mildly stoic look on her face indicates she’s neither amused or entertained. Once JUNKO is finished, Midori leans forward and re-engages.
Midori Miyamoto: Did I hit a nerve, huh? I guess I was correct about your messed up ideals. Your words were figurative and poetic, but you really didn’t say much. A bunch of gloom and doom and death.
Midori shakes her head.
Midori Miyamoto: Look, I get it. I really do. You thought the three of us would be easy targets. You thought all of us would fold up and cower away. You didn’t plan on encountering a trios that wouldn’t stand for your bull or fight back. You were wrong.
She pauses for a second.
Midori Miyamoto: JUNKO, I haven’t wrestled as long as you. Three years at the most for me. However, this isn’t my first rodeo. I’ve never had an easy match in my life; each one is a new test. Those tests have prepared me for this match. My training has prepared me for this fight. You’re not going to walk over Kyoko and Momoko. You’re not going to walk over me. That’s prime motivation. And if you go into this match honestly believing you’re facing starry-eyed children, then you’re going to get disappointed and hurt.
Once more, Midori leans back in here seat having said her piece.

Saiko sits in her seat, kicking her small legs back and forth as she watches Midori and her JUNKO battle back and forth with their words. So much heat for only so much meaningfulness words. A smile gracing Sai's lips as Midori leans back in her seat after saying her peace. The room falls quiet before Saiko reaches for her mic,"ME NEXT! ME NEXT!"
She yelps, dragging the mic closer to the edge of the table. "Wait---what was the question again?" Sakura rolls her eyes, looking down at the small firefly before whispering the question in her ear, "OH! My motivation for this match! Silly Question because its totally simple really." Saiko smiles at her teammates before looking at the crowd, "I want to hurt humans. I want to fly and bite and claw and hurt humans till they have enough of me. Are these messed up ideals like the starry eyed human said? I suppose so but what makes my motivation bad and the human's good? What makes them Heros and us Villains? Nothing. Just hear say and the way those odd humans think. For me, I am the hero Firefly of my story. I came from nothing and turned into something. A fighter. A trailblazer. I am everything I want to be and more. See, I don't care what you think of me or my JUNKO or KAGUYA because in the end, we will stand tall against the rest. Its what we fighters do and the Humans?" Saiko smiles a toothy smile, "Humans burn...And taste like Chicken."
Quickly, Sakura flicks the back of Saiko's head, "Ow! but they DO! Not as good but good ENOUGH" Sakura sighs, shaking her head at Saiko as she rubs the back of her head, pouting up at her Manager.

During the midsts of all the back and forth, an attendant makes her way over to Midori. She offers the wrestler a bottle of water, which Midori gladly accepts. She sips on that water as she listens to Sakura, taking mental notes all the while. Once Sakura is finished, Midori recaps her water. She places it on the table as she leans towards the mic.
Midori Miyamoto: Really riveting Sakura…
She pauses for a second before continuing.
Midori Miyamoto: I’m guess I’m just wondering you the three of you are going to get your stories straight.
She looks over at JUNKO.
Midori Miyamoto: “Heroes are dead and we’ll make sure there will be no hero born in this place.” That’s what you said after attacking us at JET Four.
Midori then turns her attention back to Sakura.
Midori Miyamoto: But just a few seconds ago, you said you're the hero FireFly of your own story.
Midori lets out a stifled laugh.
Midori Miyamoto: Do the three of you want to kill heroes? Do you all want to be considered heroes? Do you even know what you really want? Or are you just sitting up here and talking a bunch of bull? Because right now, your stories are sounding really shaky.
She shakes her head.
Midori Miyamoto: I wish the three of you would just be honest with me, my teammates, and everyone here. If you really wanted to make statement, you would have gone after some people that are higher on the totem people. If you were serious about “destroying heroes,” then you would have gone after some of the pillars of JET. People like BIANCA or the team of LUMINOID. But you didn’t—you three went after Momoko, Kyoko, and myself. Why? Because you thought we easy targets. The three of you aren’t bastion saints, heroes of your own stories, or fighters. You’re cowards.
Midori snaps her fingers.
Midori Miyamoto: But that’s fine. Me, Kyoko, and Momoko are going to show you what real fighters look like. You’re going to show you what real Fighting Spirit looks like. We’re not going to back down. We’re not going to fold. We’re going to stand up and put the three of you down.
There comment is directed at all three members, but everyone in the room catches on to the fact that Midori had been staring directly at JUNKO when she made it.
