The show opens with a video package that begins in an empty Ryogoku probably days before the show as the ring is set up. The only person in the ring is Azumi who’s wearing a suit and mic attached to it. The lights are dimmed down as we can’t see anything but Azumi and JET’s sky blue wrestling ring.
Azumi Goto: Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Azumi Goto and for those who aren’t familiar with me outside of my ring work, I’m the current President of Joshi Extreme Takeover. And I want to first thank you for spending your Saturday with us and watching the best Joshi Wrestling on the planet. Now JET has seen it’s ups and downs over the long history of this promotion. We’ve seen countless women come and go in this promotion, many of whom are some of the most successful wrestlers. When I opened the show for my first show as President of the company, I told everyone watching that JET was entering its best era. The perfect era. We have bloomed from a company that would run shows and gain attention from the 90s legends who were our headliners to now I’m proudly able to say that we’ve become a company that can stand on its on two feets. I’m proud of the amazing women on my roster that we were able to get 9,000 seats sold for this show. It’s the hard work of creating some of the world’s best women’s wrestling that got us here and it’s going to be the same hard work from this roster that will take us beyond. I won’t take much more of your time as now!
Azumi snaps her fingers as the lights of Ryogoku turn on with the arena filled with JET’s signature Sky Blue style set.
Azumi Goto: Wrestling fans after a four year long gap, JET returns to Ryogoku Sumo Hall! Welcome to JET and WWA Presents Sakura Blooming 2018!
The video package ends as ‘Diver’s High’ by Sky-Hi plays all around the arena as Ryogoku is packed! 9000 Joshi Wrestling fans are in attendance for what will be an amazing show. Many fans are holding merch of their favorites ranging from Azumi Goto, Stephanie Matsuda, LUMINOID and many more.
QUICK RESULT: KAGUYA pinned Momoko after a Vertical Spike Brainbuster.
Zumi Note: I will try to have this match up as soon as I can. I had to prioritize getting the show up asap. I hope you do understand, I will work on getting your match up.

We go back to the ring as we can hear "Boogie Woogie Bugle Boy" by Mista Trick hits as we can see Virginia Atwood entering the arena, taking a twirl and do the salute. She walks down to the isle, not caring about the boo coming for her.
Maki Fujioka: Say what you want about this lady. She might be cocky, but she knows what she's doing.
Virginia reach one of a fan's hand and about to kiss it but she just slap the hand and not caring about the response as she just climb the ring and taunt in the apron. She takes off her skirt and getting ready for her match. Her theme goes off, changing with "Ride on Shooting Stars" by the Pillows as Yuki Sakaraba appears with a pirate-looking space helmet, posing to the crowd and following with a cheer.
Hanako Nakamoto: There she is, the veteran Yuki Sakaraba seems like focusing on this match. She decided to stand up after disrespectful things Atwood said last week. Is she making a right decision to do this? We shall see.
Yuki enters the ring and taunt at the turnbuckle while looking around. She takes off her coat and helmet and getting ready as well.
The bell rings as Yuki and Virginia begin to get closer and start talking trash to each other. Virginia is the one who start the physical contact by pushing Yuki's shoulder. Yuki responds it by doing the same but after that, Virginia just move forward and charge Yuki with a mounted punch. Virginia isn't stop punching until the referee has to stop Virginia. Virginia then argues to the referee while she just raises her hands. But when Virginia is going back, Yuki gives Virginia a low dropkick to Virginia's legs, tripping her down. Virginia rolls down to recover while the ref trying to tell her to go back while Yuki is walking out to the apron and attempt to hit Virginia with a soccerball kick, but Virginia is aware and take a quick roll and just sweep the other foot, making Yuki falls to the edge of the ring. Yuki seems injured her back while VIrginia is just mocking downed Yuki, following with chorus of boos from the crowd.
Virginia Atwood (off-mic): This is how we do it in America, Baby!!
Hanako Nakamoto: Trash talking as usual! Atwood is mocking all the Japanese crowd... OH GOD, LOOK OUT!!!!
Virginia grabs Yuki's hair, telling some crowds to move aside. As the crowd is empty, Virginia throws Yuki to the pile of chairs right in front of them, landing really hard towards it. Virginia just pile Yuki in the bottom with lots of chairs as Yuki isn't moving underneath it. Virginia then going back in the ring, taunting the arena while everyone seems throwing their boos even harder than before. A few moments after that, there's a sign that Yuki starts to move, trying to get out from the chairs above her. After gaining some few helps from the juniors, Yuki is finally free but not walking very well. She slowly enters the ring but barely even standing. Virginia just keep mocking Yuki, doing a crying gesture and ends up with a running big boot to the face of the Space Patrol. Virginia goes for a PIN but somehow Yuki is able to kick out because Virginia is not hooking her legs in.
Maki Fujioka: Ooh, Virginia is doing a rookie mistake of not hooking Yuki's leg in. The match continues.
Yuki still doesn't know where she is but as Virginia trying to get her up on her feet, she's trying her best to punch Virginia's midsection, wearing her down and creating an open spot to turn the momentum around. Virginia takes a step back but as soon after she regain her composure, Yuki just using her own energy to charge up and deliver a spear, put her opponent down. Now both of them are just laying while holding their pain. After a while, they both going on their feet at the same time but Yuki looks fired up and she just fiercely laying some punches to Virginia until she's cornered to the turnbuckle. Yuki turns around and charges to the other side of the turnbuckle. Yuki takes a step to the bottom corner and back to Virginia with a full speed, hitting a hard-European Uppercut, making VIrginia down once again. It's now her turn to hook Virginia's legs but Virginia manages to get her shoulder up.
Hanako Nakamoto: Ooh.... it seems Sakaraba now fired up! What's she gonna do next?
Yuki is tapping the mat, trying to rally the crowd to give the clap towards her. Virginia goes up as Yuki is setting her up in a Cosmic Explosion (Ranhei) but Virginia elbows Yuki's back and escape. Virginia then somehow reverse it into a Killer Bomb (Ganso Bomb), hitting Yuki's head really hard. Virginia continues with a PIN but once again, Yuki is able to kick out.... Virginia just drop her jaw and can't believe what just happened. She then argues and complains about how slow the referee to tap her hands and counts but the referee just doing her job. Virginia goes for a Lariat but Yuki ducks and counters it with her own finisher, Kawaii Chosinsei (Burning Hammer). Virginia is down and out as Yuki just hooking the leg, The referee is counting to three and Virginia failed to kick out.
(Winner – Yuki Sakaraba)
Yuki slowly gets up as the referee raises her hand while Virginia rolls out. Scene then fades out for a commercial.
{Commercial Break hyping RISE Together Tag League}
We return to commercial and Ryogoku is ready for in-ring action. Asuka Kuramochi enters the ring as ‘MIC DROP’ by BTS plays which the crowd is clearly not happy as it’s a sign that the number #1 contender for the JET Academy title is here. Candice Blair has arrived and her backup is here as well as we see Vanessa Santiago behind her.
Asuka Kuramochi: The following contest is scheduled for one fall and is for the JET Academy Title!! Introducing first, she is the challenger!! Accompanied by Vanessa Santiago, from Long Beach, California!! She is the Atomic Blonde! CANDICE!!!! BBBBLLLLAAAAIIRRR!!!!!
Hanako Nakamoto: Well there she is! My pick to take it all tonight, Candice Blair! Trained her older sister, most notably her oldest sister and fellow wrestling legend, Cameron Ella Ava. Nothing really has been able to touch Candice went it comes to her in-ring ability. She’s able to outclass a lot of talent when it comes to that. I see a bright future for Candice it starts with a win here tonight!
Candice poses for the crowd as they boo her, she shrugs them off and goes to her respective corner as the music switches to ‘Zen -Ikusa-’ by Wagakki Band. Tomoyo Hirate makes her way down to the ring wearing her signature fox mask and carrying her fan with her.
Asuka Kuramochi: And her opponent! She is the Six Tailed Fox and the 15th JET Academy Champion!! From Tokyo, Japan!! THIS IS HIRATEEEE TOMOYOOOO!!!!
Maki Fujioka: If you’re going with Candice, I might just continue to show my support for Tomoyo Hirate. Six months, Hanako-san! Six months of dominance as JET Young Lioness/Academy Champ! If Candice was trained by her older sisters, Tomoyo was a prodigy trained by current JET President and our boss, Azumi Goto. There are shades of the much younger Azumi Goto inside Tomoyo, a great striker and submission wrestler. I think she’s got this in the bag!
Tomoyo enters the ring and takes off her mask as the crowd throw streamers into the ring for her. She looks back at Candice but doesn’t seem to pay much attention and goes to her corner. Tomoyo hands her title to referee Yuri Watanabe who raises it in the air as she rings the bell to start this match.
(DING DING DING!)
The match begins with both Candice and Tomoyo in a feeling out process, both of them are circling the ring with no major move being made before Tomoyo extends her hand for a lock up. Candice gladly locks up as she’s able to take an early control of this match until she pushes Tomoyo to the ropes which gets Yuri Watanabe to intervene and get Candice to make a clean break. Candice does so and breaks the lock-up before she gently pats Tomoyo’s head as a way to get in her head but it gets Tomoyo to hit Candice with a Forearm right to her face. Candice backs away holding the right side of her face as Tomoyo smirks. It seems that the Champ is nonchalantly telling her challenger to come get some. Candice approaches Tomoyo as you see her kicking the legs. The strikes aren’t even making Tomoyo flinch as she’s absorbing them all, now Tomoyo once snap mares Candice down to a sitting position and KICKS HER RIGHT IN THE BACK! The crowd could hear the kick as they also hear Candice letting out a small scream of pain. Tomoyo runs the rope and attempts to go for a PK but Candice quickly dodges the kick only to hit Tomoyo with a chop block to her right leg.
Maki Fujioka: The champion seems like having a light injury now.
We can see Tomoyo in pain as she goes down to one leg, Candice follows this by running the ropes and hitting Tomoyo with a Running Blockbuster. Cover by the challenger but it only gets a two count! Candice immediately goes on towards targeting Tomoyo’s right leg by stomping on it repeatedly. You can see Tomoyo in pain as she kicks Candice away with her free left leg. This is gets the challenger away from her as Tomoyo gets back up and begins to fire kicks with her left leg right to the chest of Candice. This starts to have momentum flow on Tomoyo’s side as she soon begins to run to the nearest corner and springboard off the middle turnbuckle rope for a Springboard Enzuigiri! Candice is able to catch her out of midair with a Roundhouse Candy Kick!!! Tomoyo might be out as Candice goes for another cover!!
Referee: ONEEEEE!!!! TTTWWWOOOO!!!!
Hanako Nakamoto: What a kick!! This is why Candice is my pick to win, she knows her surroundings in that ring and what are the possible options for Hirate!
Tomoyo is able to power out at two but she doesn’t seem to know where she is as Candice quickly transition from a cover to going back and attacking Tomoyo’s right leg, this time with a kneebar. You can hear Tomoyo in pain as she’s trying to get Candice off her leg but it’s not working, the champ begins to crawl towards the rope while you can Vanessa Santiago cheering on her Stablemate to finish this match up. Tomoyo is able to get to the rope and get the break but Candice is not let getting go. Yuri Watanabe is busy counting Candice and telling her to break the hold that she doesn’t see Vanessa Santiago trash talking Tomoyo and slaps the champ across the face. The ref is telling Candice to back off so that she can check on Tomoyo, who is using the ropes to get up to her feet. Candice rushes in but Tomoyo is able to use her momentum against her and toss Candice out of the ring. Candice lands right next Santiago and the ref already warning Vanessa, telling her to intervene. As Candice gets back to her feet, we see Tomoyo get the apron and hits Candice’s chest with a loud penalty kick! Candice is holding her chest as Tomoyo now gets back inside the ring only to slingshot back out with a Pescado to take out both Candice and Vanessa. Tomoyo quickly gets Candice back in the ring and starts firing forearms smashes. Each shot would stun Candice even more as Tomoyo then spins around and hits Candice with an Uraken! The spinning backfist lands as Tomoyo gets Candice in and hits a Fisherman Suplex! Beautiful Bridge by the champ and she goes for a cover!
Referee: ONEEEEEE!!!! TWOOOO!!!!! THREEE---
Maki Fujioka: Candice just barely kicked out! But how much was done, Tomoyo’s blitz style offense she learned from Azumi is paying off but now let’s see if she can end this and retain her belt!
Tomoyo shakes her head and begins to shake her hurt right leg. She doesn’t seem to care as she locks her arms around the waist of the grounded Candice, she’s looking for Epsilon Tract! She’s able to pick up Candice with the deadlift but the Atomic Blonde counters with elbows to the back of the head. This gets Tomoyo to break the hold as Candice follows up with a Irish whip into the corner! Candice goes to the opposite corner and rushes in! Handspring into a back elbow! Little Bit of Blair-- NO!! Tomoyo is able to move to the side as Tomoyo quickly hits a running Euro Uppercut and pushes Candice out of the corner. She jumps onto the middle rope to springboard of it! Maybe looking for the enzuigiri but CANDICE CATCHES TOMOYO WITH A CANDY CRUSH! TOMOYO IS OUT COLD!! Candice isn’t done as she wants to hit the final nail in the coffin and gets Tomoyo up for one final move! ONE MORE CANDY CRUSH!! ANOTHER DOUBLE KNEE FACEBREAKER HAS TO BE IT!!
Referee: ONEEEEEEE!!!!! TWWWWOOOO!!!!! THREEEEEEE!!!!!!
(DING DING DING!)
(Winner and NEW JET Academy Champion - Candice Blair)
(Candice Blair becomes the 16th JET Academy Champion!)
‘Mic Drop’ by BTS plays on the speaker as you see a shocked Candice get on her knees in shock! Yuri Watanabe grabs to the JET Academy title only to have Vanessa Santiago take it from her and give her stablemate the title herself. Candice gladly accepts the title as we see Virginia Atwood make her way from the back, joining her two partners.
Hanako Nakamoto: SHE DID IT! I told you that Candice Blair would become champion! We’ve got ourselves a new JET Academy Champion! CANDICE BLAIR AVA IS THE NEW ACADEMY CHAMPION!
Maki Fujioka: Well congratulation to Candice, and what an effort to try to retain her title by Tomoyo! Her six-month reign has officially come to an end and we’ve got the first result of our three title bouts.
Vanessa and Virginia both raise one hand each of Candice while her newly won title is around her waist as the scene switches to a backstage area.
{Commercial hyping the announcement about the teams for Rise Together League}
We return to ringside as the camera gets a close up of someone unexpected. The first ever Australian to sign with JET, ‘The Wintress’ Rachael Frost is in attendance right at the front row. She smiles and waves for the camera
We soon hear ‘Lydia’ by Highly Suspect playing across Ryogoku. Out comes the first of two competitors in this semi-main event, the challenger Nina Sanada wearing an all blue attire with a long all white coat. Right behind Nina are Spider Kagura and Natsu Toyama following close behind.
Asuka Kuramochi: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is scheduled for one fall AND IT’S FOR THE JET World Championship!! Residing in Tokyo, Japan via Mexico City, Mexico! SHE IS THE QUEEN OF JET! SANADAAAAA NINAAAAA!!!
Hanako Nakamoto: Nina Sanada, a resume fitting for someone many consider the original Ace of JET. a former JET Tag champion, a former JET Openweight champion, four times she’s held the JET world title and even still has record that stand for the longest reign at 14+ months. Nina pinned BIANCA to get this title shot and I hope that she makes great use of it by beating BIANCA here tonight.
Nina stops her walk to the ring when she sees Rachael Frost in the front row. There is a brief moment as if time turned back as both Nina and Rachael stare at one another as it’s been 10 plus years since their first and only classic bout for the same title Nina is competing for tonight. Nina finally resumes her walk as she enters the ring and passes her jacket to Spider and Natsu as she waits for the JET Champion.
Asuka Kuramochi: And her opponent! From Sapporo, Hokkaido, Japan! SHE IS THE 23rd JET WORLD CHAMPION!!! THIS IS BIIIIAAAANCAAA!!
Maki Fujioka: Meanwhile the reigning JET World Champ has done everything in her power to keep the title around her waist. Defending against all comers and she persona said that she wants to prove that Nina’s time is definitely up
Miyavi’s ‘Let Go’ starts to play as the JET World Champion makes her way down to the ring wearing an all black attire with a leather jacket on. She’s got her world title around her waist as she makes her way down to the ring before getting on the middle turnbuckle and confidently raises her world title. Once the music dies down and BIANCA is in the respective corner, referee Yuri Watanabe enters the ring and raises BIANCA’s world title above in the air followed by signaling for the bell.
(DING DING DING!)
Both women stare each other down as they come in the center. Nina and BIANCA are both known being hotheads and we see that they begin to shove each other. The camera can pick up both of them mouthing off to one another. Nina smirks before pointing to her jaw, almost taunting BIANCA to hit her there. BIANCA gladly takes a shot by firing a forearm right to the jaw. Nina tells her to hit her again and BIANCA responds with another shot, now Nina responds with her own forearm to BIANCA. The two continue to trade shots and both of them aren’t giving the other any momentum. These two are going back and forth with strikes as the Ryogoku crowd is coming unglued. Nina ducks one from BIANCA and hits her with a Snap German Suplex! BIANCA landed horribly on her neck and you can see her in deep pain. The ref goes down to check on BIANCA but the JET Champ says that she’s fine. Nina like shark smelling blood, immediately targets BIANCA’s neck with shot directed towards it. Nina now deadlifts BIANCA off the ground and hits her with another German Suplex! A cover that only gets Nina a two but the damage was done
Hanako Nakamoto: This is brutal! BIANCA is definitely in trouble. Nina Sanada is a master at breaking down any weakness she sees.
Nina Sanada(off-mic): You thought you could disrespect the Monarch?! This is what happens, BIANCA!
Nina gets BIANCA up and immediately brings her down with a neck-breaker, you can see how much pain the JET World Champ is in. Nina follows up with a Guillotine Choke, she’s become a woman possessed as she continues to put immense amounts of pressure on BIANCA’s neck. The crowd are trying to rally the JET world champ behind but clapping and chanting her name. BIANCA is trying everything she can get out of the choke as she begins to fire elbows into the rib area of Nina, she’s fighting back as much as she can but Sanada is not letting go of the hold. Somehow with even all the pain she must be going through, you can see BIANCA somehow able to get on her feet! THE STRENGTH OF BIANCA IS INCREDIBLE! Nina is trying everything to get the advantage on her side but BIANCA drops her straight into the turnbuckle for a modified Buckle Bomb! The JET Champ somehow escaped and now fires loud chops to the chest of her challenge. BIANCA is lighting up Sanada’s chest with these chops, trying to rally some sort of comeback but Sanada is able to stop it and turn it into a forearm shot that stuns BIANCA. NOW NINA GOING FOR GO FISH (Fisherman Driver) but no! Bianca escaped and slips behind before turning Nina around with a Flatliner! Cover by the JET World champ only gets a one and a half count from Yuri!
Maki Fujioka: Look at the fire inside the JET World Champ! She’s got a chance, BIANCA needs to keep fighting!
Nina is back to her feets as BIANCA follows with with a kick to the gut! BIANCA continues to fire kicks before slipping behind Nina and returning the favor from before by hitting her opponent with a German. That looked rough but BIANCA keeps the waistlock in and goes for another German! These two are trading bombs with no care for the other’s safety at this point. As BIANCA goes for a third one, Nina slips out and hits an elbow directly at the neck of BIANCA, this alone gets her in absolute pain. Sanada isn’t done as she continues to fire elbows targeted at BIANCA’s neck, making it worse for her opponent. BIANCA is somehow once again fighting through as she escapes and runs the ropes for a Spear but Sanada is able to stop her by kicking Bianca’s gut and hit a quick Zantetsuken (Cutter)! Nina knows what to do as she gets BIANCA up and follows up with a Go Fish (Fisherman Driver). As if BIANCA’s neck wasn’t in enough pain, she has to be done. Nina knows how she’s going to end BIANCA’s reign as she gets both herself and her opponent on her feet and set up for the Sanada Driver (Leg hook sitout scoop slam piledriver)!! IT DEFINITELY HITS AS SANADA WITH A NONCHALANT PIN!!
Hanako Nakamoto: Count to a hundred, Maki! Sanada has taken this match for herself
Referee: ONEEEEEEEEE!!!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOO!!!! THREEEEEEEE!!!!!!
DING DING DING!!!
(Winner and NEW JET World Champion - Nina Sanada)
(Nina Sanada becomes the 24th JET World Champion)
‘Lydia’ plays as the young girls and medical staff come in and check on BIANCA while Nina raises her newly JET World Title in the air while Natsu and Spider join Nina in the ring. The crowd is throwing streamers into the ring for Nina’s victory as she continues to celebrate.
Hanako Nakamoto: FIVE TIMES, MAKI! Nina Sanada is now a five time JET World Champion! Something that no other legend this company has had compete can duplicate what we have just scene! What a horryfing bout that was just hard hitting if anything. Regardless, we know live in a world where Nina Sanada is creating history!
Maki Fujioka: No doubt that anyone can take away Nina’s accomplishment but you have to feel for BIANCA, the neck issues that this match created will affect her long term.
Nina is again raising her title in the air, as we see at ringside that Rachael Frost is interested in seeing her old rival become JET World Champion! Meanwhile, BIANCA is being helped out to the back.
Nina Sanada(off-mic): You see this! This is proof that as long as JET exists, there will be a Monarch named Nina Sanada to rule over it! Whoever is gonna step up, just remember that what awaits you is the same type of beating that BIANCA got.
That’s the last thing we see as the commercial cuts in soon!
(Final Commercial promoting LAW’s Homecoming show)
Scene moves in front of the LUMINOID locker room as we see Mizuki opens the door and gets out of the room with Haruna. They walk down the corridor and walk past the women's locker room.
Haruna Sakazaki: Mizuki, could you please wait for a moment. There's something I want to take care of first.
Mizuki Nakata: ooh, okay!
Haruna then enters the room and see some JET girls there. She then finds Ai Moe looks sad with putting her stare down while taking a seat at the bench.
Haruna Sakazaki: Hey....
Ai looks up and see Haruna right in front of her.
Ai Moe: Ooh, Haruna-san.... I am sorry I couldn't....
Haruna Sakazaki: Ai, please. Don't talk anymore. You are doing great on this match! There's nothing to be ashamed of anymore. Well, I am here now just to tell you that I need your AV manager to meet me in my office this Wednesday. There's something we both need to talk. You know it...
Haruna then pats Ai's shoulder as she nods to Ai.
Haruna Sakazaki: I think it's time!
Ai seems to understand as she looks at Haruna and nods her head as well. Haruna just smiles before she leaves Ai and see the optimistic face coming from her right now. The scen then going back to the arena.
A recap of Haruna Sakazaki’s career is shown along with her moments alongside both Stephanie Matsuda and Azumi Goto. Her rivalry with Stephanie that saw them both clash in the main event of a Korakuen Hall show while her tag team with Azumi, with both of them, even coming close to capturing tag titles over in an American company better known as Elite Answers Wrestling. The video package also shows the history of Azumi and Mizuki as we see Almighty Empress took Mizuki under her wing during her last days in JET. We soon move to two weeks ago where Azumi formally challenged LUMINOID to a match with Stephanie Matsuda as their partner. With the end of the video package, we transition back to Ryogoku Sumo Hall and a pic for the match is shown. Meanwhile, Asuka Kuramochi is taking center stage with her microphone in her hand.
Asuka Kuramochi: Ladies and gentlemen, the following contest is a tag team match with one fall, a 30-minute time limit for the JET tag team Championship AND IS YOUR SAKURA BLOOMING 2018 MAIN EVENT!!
Innocent Treasures by Demetori plays to a round of cheers from the crowd as we see a confident Azumi coming out from the entrance area wearing a dark purple attire to go with her black entrance coat. She’s soaking in the crowd’s love for her as she makes her way down to the ring, casually air guitaring for the crowd.
Maki Fujioka: Here we go, Ladies and Gentlemen! The main event of Sakura Blooming 2018 and the last match of Haruna Sakazaki. Azumi Goto is making her way down to the ring and there’s a lot of history involved in this match. Azumi Goto and Haruna Sakazaki both were tag partners for almost 7 months while Azumi is credited for training of Mizuki Nakata. You can see how important this match and being one of Haruna’s last opponent is to her right now.
Azumi enters the ring, climbs the middle turnbuckle and pose for the fans in attendances. Once she gets down, the PA system begins to blast ‘You Say Run’ by Yuki Hayashi which sounds the arrival of Stephanie Matsuda. The Iconic War Queen makes her way from the back in her standard attire, wearing a hoodie over her head and a bandana. The crowd is in joy with the return of Stephanie to a JET ring, she soon enters the ring and you can see a brief look from Stephanie towards Azumi before they both nod.
Hanako Nakamoto: It’s been nearly 3 years since former Sky Princess stepped into a JET ring as a competitor, we talked about this in the beginning of the show but this is a dream team being formed between Azumi and Stephanie. We know the history between Haruna and Cloud, both of them feuding while they both competed in American promotion EAW while even teaming together before that as Sexy Curry. It’s time to see if that history really helps Azumi and Stephanie.
Both women wait on their side of the ring as ‘You Say Run’ is replaced ‘Azure Sky’ by Haruna ‘Zakkii’ Sakazaki. As the song is playing, out first is Mizuki Nakata in Sky blue attire while having her JET Tag team titles is around her waist. Soon after the theme shifts to ‘Rosenkreutz’ by Ayasa and Haruna Sakazaki comes out in her royal blue attire who has her half of the JET tag team titles around her waist. Both members of LUMINOID nod at each other before entering the ring and pose for the crowd in the middle of the ring with the lights dimming down and the spotlight on LUMINOID as they form a heart with one hand each.
Maki Fujioka: The career of Haruna Sakazaki is ending, we knew this would happen. In front of the Influencer is one of her biggest rivals and one of her many tag team partners. From humble beginnings in American promotion, UFWA and then transition to EAW, you’ve seen many things. The Pride of the Vixens Division, The Silver Lining and Zakkii but right now it’s none of those incarnations, it’s just a woman from Kyoto named Haruna Sakazaki.
Hanako Nakamoto: We can’t forget about Mizuki as well. LUMINOID have reigned as Tag Champs since March and ever since then, we’ve seen a change in Nakata. There was a period where the woman you saw there was just known as the hand-picked future Ace of this company. A golden child but now, you’ve seen the influence that Haruna has had over the career of Mizuki. The question, does LUMINOID chemistry have what it takes to defeat Azumi Goto and Stephanie Matsuda?
LUMINOID go to their side of the corner as JET General Manager Yoko Kudo enter the ring alongside Referee Yuri Watanabe. LUMINOID hand their JET Tag team Championship belts over to Yoko Kudo which is followed by both teams coming to the center of the ring for pictures with the JET GM holding the belts and each while the opposing teams on the opposite side. After the photos are taken, both LUMINOID and Daughters of Manami return to their corner as the ring announcers introduction.
Asuka Kuramochi: Ladies and Gentlemen, thank you for the wait but now it’s time for your Sakura Blooming 2018 MAIN EVENT!

Mizuki begins to fire elbows at Azumi’s stomach which gets her out of the headlock. Once she’s out of the side headlock, Mizuki begins to hit her mentor with a Elbow right to the face. Azumi smirks as she tells Mizuki to hit her again, and Nakata responds with a rapid fire of elbow shots to side of her mentor’s face and before running the ropes. Mizuki is soon caught by Azumi’s dropkick square on the face! Azumi looks right at Haruna as she gets Mizuki up to her feet. This is followed by a palm strike to the face, Azumi ducks a shot from Mizuki and fires another palm strike. Haruna is able to start fighting back and push Stephanie to the rope as Matsuda switches to a side headlock. Cloud doesn’t notice Mizuki tagged herself in, Haruna is able to push Cloud and escapes her followed by an Irish-whip as both members of LUMINOID enter the ring. LUMINOID show their excellent chemistry as both hit Cloud with Switchblade kicks as Haruna leaves the ring, Mizuki follows up with running double foot stomp to the ground War Queen. Cover from Mizuki but only gets a one count.

She kips back up and stands up to face Azumi. Mentor and Protege go at it as both begin to exchange strikes, Mizuki with brutal forearms and Azumi firing loud chops.
