Midori sat back in her seat and listened as her teammate, Ai, spoke her mind on the given question. She remained silent during some parts; she nodded her head during other portions. After Ai had finished, Midori leaned forward and adjusted her microphone.
Midori Miyamoto: I’ll go now, if that’s alright with everyone.
Her eyes glanced around the room. No one said anything. She shrugged and continued.
Midori Miyamoto: I guess I’ll start by saying this. When I signed up with Joshi Extreme Takeover, I kind of assumed I’d be working as a single’s wrestler, you know? Sure, I’ve had a few standard tags and six-man tags over the past couple of years. I’ve never really had the opportunity to be part of an established tag team. So when the RISE Together tournament was announced, I was exactly sure I was supposed to feel.
There was a slight bit of hesitation in her voice.
Midori Miyamoto: And of course, what happened at Sakura Blooming had been on the forefront of my mind as well…
She could feel herself starting to get worked up. She shook her head and pushed the memories out.
Midori Miyamoto: That was hard loss. But I told myself that I was going to keep moving forward and put my best effort into RISE Together.
She nodded her head.
Midori Miyamoto: In fact, I think everyone on my team decided to put forth their best effort and try to make something special happen. Mizuki? She’s a multi-time champion. She’s accomplished and respected in this sport. She reminds me of one of my mentors, Merlot Ayano. It would have been easy for Mizuki to look down at me and Ai, to see us as less than. But she didn’t do that. She’s treated us as peers and equals along the way. Ai? She had a killer match at Sakura Blooming. She didn’t win. But, I think she proved something to everyone who saw her match. She showed that she has what it takes to compete with some of the best. That’s something to admire.
Midori pauses for a second.
Midori Miyamoto: So while I was a bit hesitant at first, I’m an honored to be able to share the ring with the both of them.
She nodded her head once more.
Midori Miyamoto: What would it mean to win RISE Together and be crowned as one third of the JET Trios Champions? It would mean that the three of us on this team did something pretty spectacular. It would mean that we had ability to put aside our respective differences and unit to achieve a singular goal. That’s hard to do in this sport. But, I think Mizuki, Ai, and myself will be able to do it. We’ve done so thus far.
Midori Miyamoto: On a more personal level? I’ve never held a championship belt before. I’ve never even had the opportunity to do so. If the three of us win the JET Trios Championships, it would be my first. Not only would my team make some history, but I’d also set a personal milestone.

JUNKO can be heard cackling to herself before she even takes the microphone to answer, a cackle that is unnerving for those who sit around her besides her more accustomed stablemates. She eventually takes the microphone into her hand as she responds to the question asked by the Gaora Sports TV Representative. "What would winning the right to call ourselves the first JET Trios Champions mean? Well, for the women that sit along this table, I can assure you it will be nothing good. Because unlike the young, hopeful child Midori here, we are not innocently nieve. We are scavengers like vultures, feeding off the weak so that we are the strong that survives. And I think I can speak for my jumpy companion Saiko here when I say that when we look down this table, we see nothing but meal tickets that will make us all the more stronger, who will be left as nothing but scraps as they are swallowed into a lovely pit of despair." Swirling her black rose elixir bottle in her hand, watching the contents thrash about within the glass, transfixed with an evil smirk on her face. "And I think that's what it means to us. It means we are the strong, that we are the dominate new faction that will take this company by storm by becoming a storm ourselves, shifting the tides and creating tidal waves that will crash into this company over and over again until it submits to the force of nature it can not control. And not a single one of these women can stop that inevitable fact, though they will try, they will fail at the hands of KAGUYA-Gun one by one. Holding the Trios championships will only be a byproduct of that dominance and will establish it all so that no one disputes that JET will be in it's darkest days..." Once again her unnerving laughter fills the room as she places the microphone on the table, watches the contents of her bottle swirl along with the movements of her wrist in her trance-like state...

Mizuki then grabs the mic and start talking.
Mizuki Nakata: JET Trios Championships are the rebirth from the legacy of JET Tag Team Champions that must come to an end. As you are already know that I am one half of the last ever JET Tag Team Champions alongside Haruna-san and this time I had such an amazing opportunity to grab a brand new legacy alongside these two talented wrestlers alongside me. We might be just that one unit that is randomly selected to be a part of this trios team. We were not knowing each other before this team was announced, not even think of any strategy to work on our way to the top of this tournament.
Mizuki Nakata: But we have one thing in common. Victory! We have one vision and we know how to do it in this kind of match. In order to win this match, we have to fight side by side and break through the barrier together and in the end, we are going to end up beating against all odds to win it all. Our opponents right here are three cohesive units that was born to fight in this tournament but we are not scared. We are ready even though we are not actually picked to win, like dark horses, we're going to charge forward until we're winning this tournament and be the first JET Trios Champions!
Mizuki looks intensely to the press but ends her talk with a smile.

Midori allowed Mizuki to finished up before she re-engaged.
Midori Miyamoto: You know, I find it funny...
She paused for a second.
Midori Miyamoto: Mizuki and JUNKO are both veterans in this sport. Both are accomplished and tenured. Some might consider them equals. And then, well, you hear the two of them speak. Mizuki speaks with honor and pride. JUNKO? She spouts off misguided, drunken gibberish. I learned that at Sakura Blooming.
Midori ran her fingers through her hair.
Midori Miyamoto: JUNKO, you’re naive. And that’s wild to me, considering how long you’ve been wrestling. Your naivety shows itself in your words. Everyone seated at this table is a meal ticket? KAGUYA-Gun is so much better than everyone here? That’s bullshit. Your body may be older, but your mind sure isn’t.
Midori snaps her fingers.
Midori Miyamoto: By the way, only three years difference between us. I’m going to keep pointing that out.
She shook her head as she got back on topic.
Midori Miyamoto: You underestimate everyone that’s up here. That’s not confidence speaking through you—that’s foolishness. And honestly? It’s probably a little bit of insecurity poking out as well.
She pauses for a moment.
Midori Miyamoto: Haughtiness comes before a great fall, JUNKO. And when KAGUYA-Gun happens to fall, it’s going to be massive. Maybe it will happen in the finals of this tournament. Hopefully. And maybe it will be Mizuki, Ai, and myself that send you over the edge. That would be poetic justice, wouldn’t it?
Midori leaned back in her seat once more.

Ai grabs the microphone next. After sitting back she feels like she has at least one more thing she needs to say.
"(You know... i may be the least experienced in this team. In this tournament and maybe even the whole company. I mean i can almost count my whole career on both hands. But i've been over looked since the beginning. I've heard what many have said about me. How they think less of me because of my soon to be previous occupation.)"
"(But i've always been overlooked. I've always been seen as less then and as nothing but a stepping stone. Not just here, but in the porn industry. It's nothing new to me. The constant negative energy and hatred. The repulsion. But i turn these negative feelings towards me and i make them work in my favor.)"
She closes her eyes and breaths in deeply before continuing.
"(But you know... i know i always have my fans. I have Sakazaki-san. I have my two teammates Miyamoto-san, Nakata-san. I have hopes and dreams that i strive for. That i yearn for. But if i may there are two people i'd like to speak to for only a moment. Mama, Papa... I know it's unlikely for the two of you to be watching this... I know you want nothing to do with me and have already cut ties with me... But i just want you two to know i've changed. I'm not a whore or a slut like you've called me numerous times. I'm not a filthy worthless piece of trash like you've called me the last time we've spoken. I'm a woman. A pro wrestler. I'm your daughter and i hope you will acknowledge me once again. Thank you.)

(Candice Blair rolls her eyes in an annoyed way before she speaks.)
Candice Blair: (Yawns) I'm sorry about all of you, but you all put me to sleep! Like, I don't know how much longer I could live with having my ears stabbed on a constant basis of watching the rest of you women pretend that you even have a decent chance of defeating myself, Vanessa and Virginia. To these people, why would you invest in three gaijins? We are not Japanese born talent. We are simply three women who have taken JET by storm. Do you think it was some sort of shock that we managed to advance to the semi-finals? You thought you would be seeing more Japanese born talent in this position? Well, by the looks of things. We're not that. Not even a little bit. We're not from around here. Virginia and I are from the United States. Vanessa is from Cuba. Still, we managed to position ourselves above talent who have been training here for years. We surpassed women who spent years training in the dojos and we have become the talent people cannot stop talking about. We have become the talent that JET cannot live without. I can deliver some sob story about how it will mean the entire world to become first ever the JET Trio Champions! Don't get me wrong. I would love nothing more than having another title alongside with the JET Academy Championship! I would love nothing more than to assert my dominance over the Trio scene along with Vanessa and Virginia. These are two women I completely trust with my heart and soul. These are two women who push me to become a better version of myself. These are two women who are some of the most talented women that we have in our locker room! JUNKO? Trash. Midori? No! Mizuki! Garbo! Ai? Try again! Any other woman in this match? Probably not as good as the three blondes in this match! I would love nothing more to win this tournament! Not only does it add another title in my resume, but it means that none of you other boring and untalented woman in this roster will win. I don't speak for my two other partners and they can speak for themselves, but we are just getting warmed up here.
(Candice Blair smirks as she sits back on her chair and waits for someone else to speak.)

Upon the culmination of Candices remarks, JUNKO places her bottle down onto the conference table, picking the microphone up as she runs her talons through her hair. "I don't understand what you're saying, Candice. Not because of the language barrier but because I simply can't see how you can find what is happening right now boring. I for one find this heavily, heavily amusing. Why? Because you all REAK of insecurity. Take yourself, for example, Candice. Trying to live up to a name so respected in the west, trying to prove you belong beside them in the history books but listen to how you talk. Conceited, entitled, ignorant -- you truly do fit the mold of an Ava. But these people, they're supposed to cheer for you, aren't they? They're supposed to love you, but why? Because you're a white woman who isn't afraid to shake her posterior and wear skimpy clothes to draw the eye of everyone and get herself further in the business. You, my dear, are no shining triforce that you claim to be. You're just another genetically appealing bimbo getting by on her looks, never truly deserving of anything. That is a despair I can only admire from afar." She turns down the table, looking down at Midori. "And you, child, you're just so easy. Words alone get so deep under your skin, and you just sit there and let me eat away at your naivety. You let me push all the right buttons to feel your despair grow and grow, your ego inflating you higher and higher and that will make the fall all the more entertaining to behold. You know what you didn't learn at Sakura Blooming, Midori? To heed the words that I tell you. Because you were left under out foot that night and, should you find yourself in our way again, the same result will find you. You will be left laying with my foot at your throat as KAGUYA-Gun further establish our dominance and tighten our stranglehold on every single one of you. So I will ask you this Midori; how are Ai and Mizuki going to thank you for writing their names into the death note through association? How will they thank you for further condemning them as you open your prideful mouth and dig their holes even deeper? Because is doing the smart thing, not making any more enemies at the table, not like it will save her from the defeat she'll find. I advise you to take her lead next time, well, if there even is a next time for you, that is..." JUNKO starts cackling to herself again. "Oh, how fruitful this tournament will be for Saiko, KAGUYA and myself. Championship gold, broken bodies and the most thirst-quenching amount of despair! I am relishing at the very thought of it all, I can feel my skin tingling in excitement! But good things will come to those that wait, and I will savour this despair for as long as I can milk it..."

Midori sat back in her seat and listened to Candice and JUNKO as they gave their speeches. Their words didn’t necessarily bother or upset her. If anything, they just made her shake her head. Once both of them were done, Midori leaned forward and adjusted her microphone.
Midori Miyamoto: Can I be real for a minute?
It was a rhetorical question.
Midori Miyamoto: I’m not the most tenured person in JET. I’ve only been here a short while. But in that short time, I’ve noticed one constant among a bunch of people. That constant is an extreme level of arrogance.
She shook her head.
Midori Miyamoto: It’s one thing to have confidence and believe in yourself. I firmly believe that Mizuki, Ai, and myself can match up with any team here. We proved that making in to the semifinals in the first place. Confidence is good. But it’s an entirely different thing when you start to look down on people. Take Candice, Vanessa, and Virginia. The fact that you three were able to travel here to Japan and make names for yourselves? That’s a great story. That’s also testament to your skill. However, it doesn’t make you three these shining goddesses of wrestling. It doesn’t mean that you can do and say whatever you want. And it doesn’t mean that you can sit there and disrespect the people that built up this company.
Midori looked over at her tag team.
Midori Miyamoto: If it wasn’t for people like Mizuki, JET wouldn’t be what it is today. It wouldn’t be as strong as it is today. Should you bow down and kiss her ass? Never that. But you should at least realize and understand that your words are foolish. JET is filled with some of the most talented wrestlers in the world. Not just Japan—the entire world. You three are talented, but you’re going to fight three equally talented women in Ai, Mizuki, and myself. And honestly? I’d like to think we want it more than you do. Winning the RISE Together tournament and capturing those belts? It wouldn’t just be a way to pad our statistics. The JET Trios Championships belt would just be trinkets to you three. But to the three of us? They’d be something special to us. They us, being the champions wouldn’t be a symbol of dominance. No—we’d hold those championships and help JET grow and thrive.
Midori paused for a second, more so to allow her to catch her breath.
Midori Miyamoto: And you, JUNKO? The reason why I don’t heed your words is because I think they’re full of shit. There’s a reason why you spout all this despair and doom stuff. You want people to be fearful of you and the rest of KAGUYA-Gun. All that may intimidate others here in JET, but not me. I refuse to be spoken down to. And I refuse to let you demean Mizuki and Ai. The three of us are just as talented as KAGUYA-Gun. Proof? We’re sitting at this table. You aren’t our superiors, JUNKO. You’re are equals. That may be a bitter pill for you to swallow. But sooner you realize it, the better things will be in the end for you.
Midori shook her head.
Midori Miyamoto: And JUNKO? As I said before, you’re not going to break me. And, you’ll never going to tame me either. If something negative is spoken in the direction of me or my team, I’m going to speak my mind about it…
The paused for a second.
Midori Miyamoto: And you might try to put on a show for your girls and your reporters, but you like that quality about me. You admire it. A lot of people will just let you say what you want. I won’t. And that makes you feel something. Probably joy...
She glanced at both Candice and JUNKO.
Midori Miyamoto: Honestly? You two aren’t that much different from each other.

The KAGUYA-Gun faction all burst into laughter in unison at the remarks made by Madori, JUNKO visibly having to wipe a shed tear from her eye before speaking. "Oh, you foolish child. Candice and I are not all that different from each other? I assure you, we are worlds apart. I practise what I preach, I know who I am, I own it without having to put on some facade to get these morsels to like me, cheer me on or want me to succeed. Perhaps it is YOU and Candice that has much in common. After all, you're both bright-eyed hopefuls that spit more venom than you actually have. We are by no means equals -- that may be the most insulting thing you have ever said to me, young Madori. KAGUYA-Gun are your superiors -- all of your superiors -- you just don't know it yet. But you will very, very soon." JUNKO taps the glass of her bottle against one of the golden plates of the Trios Championship belts on display across the table. "When we collect these three championship belts, there won't be any room for doubt. When we establish dominance over all three other teams at this table, we'll just as easily decimate any other triad that irks KAGUYA-Gun. If you stand in the path of destruction, you will be left as nothing but a byproduct of the destruction." JUNKO leans over the table, looking Madori in her eyes from across the stretch. "And it doesn't matter to me if you heed my words or not child. If you choose to be ignorant of the suffering that is to come, you will have no one left to blame but yourself. You're accepting the despair that is coming your way and, honestly, I like it. Everyone else at this table should just accept the despair and not delay the inevitable, it will make it far less painless."

Vanessa scoffs, exchanging annoyed glances with both Candice and Virginia. She holds up a hand to denote she doesn't want anyone else to talk. "Alright, this is about to sound really weird, but hear me out," she lolls, "Yeah, the bitch who came out from underneath the communist regime is about to ask for some diplomacy for a split second...can we all agree that that tacky barfly JUNKO shouldn't be allowed to say anything else until she gets a field sobriety test? A breathalyzer? Something? My God, I can smell the Jack Daniels from over here."
Candice attempts to stifle a laugh and Virginia nods her head in agreeance as Vanessa continues. "But really, back to the main question being posed. What would winning the Trios Championships mean for myself and my teammates? It's simple -- it would mean that we were right. Every time we said that we stood head and shoulders above any idea that the homegrown talent was inherently superior to us, we were right. Every time we said there wasn't a collective in this company that could hold a candle to us, we were right." She points between Midori and JUNKO. "If Midori over there is just going to concede to the idea that KAGUYA-Gun is bound to win this whole thing, it's incredibly stupid of her, but it helps my comrades and I in a couple of different ways. For one, Midori's weakminded way of thinking will likely ultimately cripple her team beyond repair. If you for even a split second think that any other team can beat yours, you don't deserve to be here. Point blank, period. You must put complete faith in yourself and the women at your side...even if the team I'm on is going to crush all of your hopes and dreams sooner rather than later. You've already done half of our job for us."
She runs her tongue over the front of her teeth, a malcontent glare situating itself across her features as she glances down at the entirety of KAGUYA-Gun. "And to the surprise of no one, this loudmouth," Vanessa remarks, pointing at JUNKO, "has done just about all the talking for herself and her teammates. I've heard all my life that when people have a drink too many, they can't keep the truth from spilling out, but all this alcoholic has done is drone on and on about things that won't happen. All she's done is be completely wrong. You need the titles to keep the illusion that you're above all of us intact. As for this team right here? We don't need the belts for that. We're already beyond the rest of you, but the gold certainly won't hurt. I know nobody ever thought that a single group could out-ego the group of evil gaijins, but KAGUYA-Gun might just give us a run for our money. You can talk all you want about being our superiors and how you'll make darkness wash over us all, but when the time comes for action? You'll never truly be able to compete with us. Love us or hate us, we're looking at all of this with a certain amount of practicality. This is about right and wrong. Not about committing acts of right and wrong, but about being right and wrong. When it comes down to it, every other team who swore they would win will be wrong, and the two women at my side and myself? We will be right. We'll deliver on our promises and show that every feat of dominance and ruthlessness up to this point weren't just isolated incidents. They were warnings of what was to come. There's not much time left before the foreign invaders take what belongs to us." She looks unimpressed as she surveys the competition. "The front line has never looked weaker."

Nina Sanada, Spider Kagura, and Natsu Toyama stared at their opponents with great interest. The three Joshi were relatively quiet throughout the entire ordeal. After sharing several glances with one another, the current JET World Champion leaned forward, tapping her finger on the belt.
“Superiors!? Ha! There’s only one woman - ONE TRIO that is considered to be DOMINANT in this promotion, and you’re looking at them! I am the only 5-time JET World Champion - who by the way is currently in the 5th reign! You have Spider Kagura next to me who is a former Lethal Angel Champion and 3x Lethal Tag Team Champion in its original incarnation! And then you have the future - Natsu Toyama, who is the daughter of the greatest wrestler alive - besides me - Miss Manami, who is one of four women in this world to take a championship off of me. Kagura is the past, I’m the present, and Natsu is the future! Who better to hold the JET Trio Championship than us!? Those three gaijin over there know NOTHING of what it means to thrive in a Japanese women’s promotion, and then there’s JUNKO the blowhard and her merry band of misfits. You speak about how KAGUYA-Gun will further establish their dominance!? KAGUYA-Gun ain’t going to shit! Let me tell you all something: to get to the end of the road; you’ll have to get through us! And quite honestly? I don’t see that happening!”
Spider Kagura raised a finger to speak.
“You three can capitalize every letter in your name and carry on that rough and tough persona. We have a multitude of championship reigns between the three of us - well between Nina and myself. Natsu’s time will come, and it’ll start with those trios belts. The young ones have to start somewhere, and what better way to showcase our strength than to beat the lot of you. We’ve done it before - we can certainly do it again.”
Natsu looks down for a moment, considering her words.
“I can only say with the utmost certainty that my comrades and I will prove our teamwork above all other contenders. I came into this business not to be like my mother, but rather forge my path. It’s not about surpassing her legacy, nor comparing mine to hers. I want to show the world that I am strong in my own right - something my tag partners understand. I was hesitant at first, but I use their experience as a guiding light as I walk down the path to glory. We are not afraid of any of you, as evident with Nina’s world title. We’re the ones holding the cards here, ladies.”
Natsu leans back, and puts her feet on the table, much to Nina’s delight. Sanada slaps her hand on the table, leaning forward again.
“You heard it straight from the horse’s mouth ladies! We are the most proficient team on this roster! By the way, I’d like to send a message to the four women who think they’re going to take this title away from me: Come. And. Get. Me. There’s only one woman I want to meet in that ring, and it ain’t none of you!”
Nina stares at the camera.
“She knows who the hell she is.”

Midori let out a tiny laugh after hearing JUNKO’s response.
Midori Miyamoto: Deflection. Your specialty, huh JUNKO?
She shook her head.
Midori Miyamoto: You do realize that you aren’t shouting into some endless void when you sit up here, right?. People in this room having been listening. I’m one of those people. Candice bragged about how she and her girls are sooooooooo much better than everyone here. Sounds eerily similar to you saying that KAGUYA-Gun is going to decimate everyone in its path.
Midori shrugged.
Midori Miyamoto: Sounds like different sides of the same coin to me.
She then turned her attention to Vanessa.
Midori Miyamoto: And hey, Vanessa? Mind telling me where I conceded the tournament and stated that KAGUYA-Gun was going to win? Because literally this whole time I’ve said me and my team won’t back down from them. And if you are feeling left out, I also addressed you and your team, not less than five minutes ago.
Midori let out a laugh.
Midori Miyamoto: But since your attention span seems to be a little low, I’ll repeat myself. You, Candice, and Virginia? You all don’t need the JET Trios Championships. For you three, holding those belts isn’t about pride. It's not about making the company grow. The three of you are just looking for some sort of way to get ahead, some sort of way to use JET to fuel your selfish needs. That’s not right. That’s not right at all…
She shook her head.
Midori Miyamoto: But it’s fine. In a little bit, you’re going to be in the ring with me, Ai, and Mizuki. You’re going to face three women who are going after the JET Trios Championships are all the right reasons. You’re going to regret talking all that shit about the people in this company—believe that.

(Candice Blair begins to speak again, unamused like the last time.)
Save me the comments, JUNKO. Do I come from a respected family? No fucking shit, Sherlock! I think this has been a huge topic of discussion from the moment I entered JET. I come from a "prestigious" family and EVERYONE IS SUPPOSED TO LOVE CANDICE! Don't get me wrong. Everyone loved me until JET contacted me. I realized that I needed to be a bit more aggressive to get the things I want. Call me entitled, call me arrogant, call me a bitch. Call me any bad name that you're small Japanese mind can call me, but you're going to need to call Vanessa, Virginia and myself winners after this match is said and done. You are just like everyone other infested ingrate that I have encountered in my wrestling career so far. You're going to insult me for what I wear to the ring? Insult me for how I carry myself in these press conferences? Is that all you fucking got, JUNKO? You think anything you say against me is going to insult me? You think that I'm insecure and it's easy to get under my skin? You don't phase me whatsoever. I don't give a damn about you. I care about winning. I care about my lovely sisters-in-arms and I care about those Trios Championships. You can call me a "bimbo" all you want. You can degrade me. This is not going to be the reason you win at the end of the day. This is not going to make you better than me.
The time for talking is over for me. All of you women will be proven wrong and I cannot wait for Vanessa, Virginia and myself to be the woman that prove every team in this match wrong. We are moving onto the finals! We are going to win this damn tournament and we're going to JET and everything in it.
(Candice puts the mic to the side and goes silent.)

"Anyone have anything else to say? No? Good. Because my two lovely teammates wonderfully summed up what we three bring to table. That being complete and utter dominance. These little Japanese girls can throw out whatever little jabs they want. It's not like any of it matters! It's nothing but background noise; the soundtrack to our ascension. These filthy Japanese keep trying to drop bombs on us, but we'll keep fighting on and looking beautiful while doing it. It's obvious that none of this 'homegrown talent' has any class. I mean, look at that Junk-o girl! Getting sloppy drunk right before a match? You're just asking to lose in humiliating fashion. Hope she can save even a tiny bit of her dignity and not throw up everywhere tomorrow night! So what would be mean for Candice, Vanessa, and myself to be the first ever Trios Champions? It means that we continue our takeover of this dump of a promotion. Candy's already got the Academy Championship; gaining those other belts will make us the women to beat. And all these little babies can go cry to their mommies about it."

"Pathetic. Well and truly pathetic all across the board. Saiko, Kaguya and myself are supposed to look at all of you as competition? As equals? The very thought leaves a bitter taste in my mouth that even my rose wine can't wash away." JUNKO takes a swig from her bottle, a wholesome amount flows down her gullet before releasing a satisfying "ahh" as she take a deep breath. Her expression becomes stonefaced after wiping her lips, her eyes piercing daggers into the crowd. "Does anyone out there in the press doubt KAGUYA-Gun? Do you doubt that we have this company by the throat with our phantom hand? No? Good! Because the looks on your faces when the truth comes out will be priceless, worth its own place in history and, at the expense of all these loud, pompous women you'll see that we've had our hand wrapped around its throat the very day we combined our powers into this unit." JUNKO stands up from her seat, looking all the way down to the other side of the table. "Let's start with the fresh meat. Vanessa, how can you say that I am telling you lies, hmm? Is that your pride talking or your brain? Because either way, I'm afraid they're lying to you, child. You're falling into the same hole Midori is finding herself in, unable to crawl her way out of. And I love that you're joining her in that well of self-glorifying pity, it makes for quite the show. In fact, it might be the only importance you and your squad of 'invaders' serve in this tournament. You're not so much invaders as you are tourists -- loud, arrogant tourists that are just a hassle to deal with. You serve no threat to KAGUYA-Gun, and I can say that on behalf of the muzzled Saiko and Kaguya who, let us be honest, shouldn't waste her breath on you wastes of breath. I, on the other hand, can speak on behalf of them and speak the truth NONE of you are ready to hear; and that's that you're already fighting a losing battle. You simply don't know it yet. But you all will, very soon. That is a promise I can keep." A sinister smile pasters itself on her face as she locks eyes with Candice. "And you, child of fortune, are such a precious gem to me. Defeating you, claiming the belts you so desperately want to use to help legitimaze yourself as a member of your prestigious family, that is a reward more valuable to me than any plate of gold. And you are in very, very poor form sitting at this table, I can only imagine the dispair in your heart when you are the one that lets your triad down in the end. Unless that other lady, quite frankly I don't know your name and didn't even acknowledge your presence at this table, takes that bullet for you, Candice. You are only full of the most weak, self-glorifying conviction, and that makes you no threat to KAGUYA-Gun. Hell, why should Kaguya waste words on you? Why should Saiko even threaten to eat the flesh from your bones? You're not even worth clensing her already macarb pallets. Your only saving grace is that the Ava name isn't the name you choose to go by in this company, because the dirt we're going to pile on that name would only bring down the worth it has in the west." JUNKO's eyebrow raises as she scans the table towards the Spider, Sanada & Toyama triad. "Then again, you're the prized animal of the hunt, aren't you? The champion and her promising prospects. Maybe you're worth sinking teeth into. More importantly, you're the staple that we'll have to remove. You're the statement KAGUYA-Gun has to and will make come the culmination of this tournament when we take your bright future pospects and the false reality of safety in your strong, upheld presence at the top of this company and bring it all crashing down, deep, deep down into the pit of dispair that will put young Midori's to shame. Because you are held so highly, so mighty among these people, even I have to admit that like Saiko I am salivating at the very thought of your iminate demise. For the first time in a very long time I feel excited, hopeful, overjoyed that such a thing in this world exists. Oh, how blissful it feels knowing that it will be your defeat, your failure at our hands that will serve as the final nail in the coffin." JUNKO's chair tips over as her maniacle laughter fills the hall, an insane amount of joy escaping from her lungs. Like a switch, however, she snaps back to reality with a cold, monotone voice with a blank expression on her face. "Your defeat will start the purge. And it will be your fault that we pulled the trigger." JUNKO looks over once more to Midori and her team mates, but simply shakes her head, a grin on her face as she sits back down, a complete and utter showing of her sense of worth to Midori presence, writing her off without giving another thought to her name.
