Yoko Kudo: Welcome to the press conference for this match. All competitors have an open mic to say whatever they please but any physical violence will automatically end the match with a no contest.

The clicking sounds and flashing lights from cameras were all heard and seen around the conference room as IZM began making her way towards her seat. She is in very formal attire as she was thought it was important to always look your best in press conferences as more people will take you seriously. IZM bows towards the press before sitting down in her seat. IZM takes ahold of a bottle of water, takes a sip, and afterward takes in a deep breath to help calm her nerves as the reporter began to speak. She listens to the question and nods her head, indicating that she understood the question. She then adjusts her microphone.
IZM: Thank you for your questions.
She turns her head glancing over at Slayton and Hasegawa.
IZM: If you do not mind, I will gladly begin things.
IZM did not see any sign that would indicate that there was going to be a problem. IZM looked back towards the reporter and began to speak upon the question he had asked earlier.
IZM: When I heard your series of questions just a minute moment ago, there were two directed towards me and the rest were just general. So I will answer the questions that were directed towards me and then I will answer your other questions.
She pauses for a second trying to collect her nerves.
IZM: You asked me how does it feel being the daughter of the legendary Hideo Kobashi, and I have to say it feels great especially knowing that I am the legacy of the greatest wrestler that has ever graced the ring. Though I will say if you ask any legacy in this sport including Slayton-san or any one of the others on JET they will tell you as much as a blessing as it is it can be stressful since you have the added pressure to be as good your father or mother.
IZM gives the media members a chance to record her words.
IZM: Your second question was how do I feel about Hasegawa-san using moves that are well-known for being used by my father. I think it is a nice way to honor your favorite wrestler, I am guessing, and I am fine with her using them as long as she remembers her Hasegawa Lariat is not equal to my Forever Roaring Lariat. Yes, they may be the same move, but there is one thing that is slightly different. I am the daughter of the wrestler that used that move to gain victories and championships.
There was a pause for a minute.
IZM: Now, I am not saying Hasegawa-san is not a great wrestler in the ring nor am I saying her Lariat is anything to laugh at from it because insulting it would be insulting my own, and I have seen her matches and she is a great wrestler, and I am sure if she hit me with it I would feel every bit of it. All I was saying was if it came between me and trading Lariats back and forth, then...well I guess we see when or if that time comes.
She looks over at Hasegawa and nods her head forward and lets out a playful smile.
IZM: Now, your other question was if any of us were nervous. I can not speak for Slayton-san or Hasegawa-san, but as for myself, I can say I am very nervous about this match.
IZM pauses for a minute as she takes another drink from her water bottle and takes in a deep breath before resuming.
IZM: This will be my first time wrestling on a major stage and the fact of the matter that this is for the rookies of JET to showcase what we have to offer to the JET audience adds some if not more pressure than a normal match world as if you don’t perform your best or give it your all, then the fans will just leave you and will not care what you do afterward. As well as the fact, I know I have the added pressure on myself because I want to look my best in the ring and I don’t want to disappoint any of my fans or the fans of my father for that matter of fact or any of the management for JET as I do not want show that signing me was a mistake. So, yes I am very nervous about this match, but I am sure when the time comes I will be calm and I won’t as nervous as I am right now.
IZM lets out a nervous smile and laughs as afterwards, she pauses for a minute to give time for the reports to write down what she said as she takes another deep breath.
IZM: I can say one thing whether I win or lose the matter of the fact is I know we, Hasegawa-san, Slayton-san, and myself, will give everything we have in that match and it will definitely show what we all have to offer to not only JET but rest of the world as well.
She looks at both Hasegawa and Slayton and nods.
IZM: I think, the biggest take away from the Rookie Showcase match is that like I said before we get to showcase each and every one of strengths and we get to showcase we are made of and show why JET signing us was a great decision.
She pauses as to let the reporters write everything down.
IZM: Now, the other question you asked was what are our goals in JET. Again, I can’t speak for Slayton-san or Hasegawa-san, but my goal is quite simple I just want to be the best that I can be and pave my own way in the Wrestling World just like how my father did years ago, maybe have a few good matches that will ranked as some as the best, and of course win the Championship but that is too overdone and said.
She pauses for a minute before letting out a nervous laugh.
IZM: In all seriousness though, I do hope to prove my worth in JET and whether I win or I lose as along I pave my own way to the top and if I just so happen to get a championship opportunity then I will gladly take it and do my best in that match and if I lose as long as the fans enjoyed the match that is all that matter to me.
IZM smiles and waits for the reporters to write down everything she just said.
IZM: I have nothing else to say as I believe I got my point across, but I will say I hope Hasegawa-san and Slayton-san do bring their A-Game and perform at their best as I know I will and I wouldn’t expect anything else from this two great wrestlers especially since Slayton-san is a legacy like myself so I know she will feel the pressure like I will.
IZM slightly pushes her microphone away as she sits back, grabs her bottled water and takes another sip and waits for Hasegawa’s and Slayton’s responses.

Amy was dressed in her black business finest with her hair in it's natural blonde state instead of it's usual dyed form as she watches and listens to one of her opponents in the match, IZM, speak and waits for her to finish before taking her place at her microphone, but stops before bowing respectfully first towards IZM and then Hasegawa out of respect, and then the reporters before sitting back down.
She moves to speak but a reporter catches her with an interesting question which makes her smile just a little bit.
Amy: How do I feel about IZM-san's comments about legacies? I will admit that in my case it's not just me following in the footsteps of a single parent but I feel more pressure because as I have stated in previous videos and interviews that I'm a member of a wrestling family which means that everything and anything I do in that ring has to be of a higher caliber than my opponents, which is not speaking ill of either IZM-san or Hasegawa-san's own respective talents.
She stops speaking long enough to respectfully incline her head towards the other two women before resuming.
Amy: But it does mean that like them, I will be treating this match like any of the major title matches that I've been in previously because while this might be a simple showcase match, it's going to be an interesting clash of three separate styles of wrestling and while all of them are based in Strong Style, it's going to be one of the most physical matches on the entire show.
She stops speaking as a few reporters fight for their question to be answered before Amy finally points at one and motions for him to speak louder, his question bringing a bigger smile to her face.
Amy: Is this a second generation clash of two puroesu greats? Perhaps after a fashion I guess you could say that this kind of a daughter's way of honoring my father since facing Hideo Kobashi was one of the things that he wanted to do before he retired but to be honest, but while I do not use a lot of the moves that my father used during his time in the ring as IZM-san does in honor to her father, I do know one thing.
Amy turns and looks at IZM with a slight smirk on her face.
Amy: I do look forward to tossing your cute rear around the ring, IZM-san, you can trust me that we will have fun in this match...you and I.
Amy turns back to face the reporters, the smirk still on her face as she listens to the reporters some more and motions to a different one.
Amy: Now I'm not saying that I won't have fun with Hasegawa-san, far from it. My "arrogance" as you put it is actually a sign of my determination that I'm taking this match a lot more seriously than I'm showing because this is my first major joint show under the banner of this alliance and I intend to help my our match (she indicates the three of them involved) the highlight if not *THE* match of the entire super show, which means that I'm fully inviting Hasegawa-san to bring every ounce of energy into our match and just really cut loose.
Amy stops as the questions come at her again and she nods before she leans forward and motions at someone in the back, her brow furrows a little bit as she listens to his question.
Amy: Do I agree with IZM-san about her comments about what she said about using our match to showcase why JET signed us? I agree one hundred percent, which is why I'm confident that the three of us can steal the show. I mean don't get me wrong, yes my big brother's crush is also on the show but that won't save her from having her death match be viewed as a lesser match to what myself, IZM-san, and Hasegawa-san will be putting on at Lethal Takeover.
She stops and indicates the three of them once more, the confidence in her eyes and face is clearly evident as she does so.
Amy: You have two women who are from two of the strongest puroseau legacies in Japan squaring off against each other in the forms of the "Red Crush" IZM and the "Red Queen" Amy Slayton, mix in some of that pure and raw amateur skill of the "New Burning Spirit" Machiko Hasegawa, and you have a match for the ages... the kind of match that would be a visual feast fit for any Emperor. But IZM-san is right, I do feel pressure as much as she does but unlike her, I'm used to it and have learned to shape that pressure into the strength that I throw behind every chop, every kick, and every suplex that I use in that ring because, with respects to you IZM-san, I don't just have one family member that wrestles...I'm apart of an entire family with the exception of my birth mother...so that means it's a pressure that you either grow stronger with and get used to or it crushes you under it's tremendous weight.
Amy takes a moment for the reporters to get everything down, looking at her two opponents in turn as she waits and then arches an eyebrow at a new question.
Amy: Yes, I am looking forward to seeing just how far the three of us can push ourselves because I know full well that I expect nothing but the best from IZM-san and Hasegawa-san because if they did not have such a "game" as the phrase goes, then they would not be here in JET and thus I don't expect anything less than their best because otherwise they will be taken to task by the "Red Queen" and I can fully assure you that I am living proof of my father's mantra of knowledge acquired through pain.
Amy listens to a small roar of comments by the reporters as the smirk returns to her face before she moves away from her mic and waits.
