Maki Fujioka: JET is back in the beautiful city in Sendai for its yearly event! Welcome everyone to the very first ever Rise Up New Generation event, As always I’m Maki Fujioka and with me is the wonderful Asuka Kuramochi. The excitement is definitely in the air as all four JET Championships are being defended along with the RISE Grand Prix Title Match Contract and a four way to determine a new contender for the Academy Championship.
Asuka Kuramochi: All of those matches will be incredible but we also have a stacked undercard and up first is a grudge. KAGUYA vs. Q and JET’s Red Dragon is definitely looking to get back at every single member of the DESPERADOS faction for their betrayal.
---
(A video package of the events summarizing JUNKO's betrayal of KAGUYA leading to the latter's return for vengeance is played.)
(“As I am” by Dream Theater plays as Q walks out, strutting to the ring with a malicious look in her eyes.)
Naomi Serizawa: The following match is scheduled for one fall at a fifteen minute time limit! First, making her way to the ring! Representing DESPERADOS! From Chicago, Illinois, United States! THIS IS Q!
Maki Fujioka: The muscle of DESPERADOS is making her way to the ring! She seems amped and ready to punish her former stable leader!
Asuka Kuramochi: JUNKO knows what Q is capable of. She wants the American native break KAGUYA into tiny pieces, or at least enough where she can never take the title off the world champion.
(As Q climbs into the ring, “WITH A VENGEANCE” by Yosuke Kinoshita plays as KAGUYA walks out to a cheering crowd. Her determined expression spoke volumes as she made her way to the ring.)
Naomi Serizawa: Her opponent! From Osaka, Japan! She is The Red Dragon of Revenge! THIS IS KKKKKKAAAAGGGGUUUUYYYYYAAAAA!!!
Maki Fujioka: The Red Dragon of Revenge herself.
Asuka Kuramochi: Considered to be one of "Manami's Chosen", KAGUYA is someone who selfishly in the past felt JET had to rely on when the likes of Matsuda and Goto were away. Now that she's at war with DESPERADOS, is she fighting for us or for herself?
Maki Fujioka: What are you trying to imply, Asuka?
Asuka Kuramochi: Nothing. It's just that I wouldn't bet entirely on any form of charity from the same woman who terrorized this place.
Maki Fujioka: Heh. Well KAGUYA declared her intentions to get revenge on DESPERADOS one member at a time! Let’s see if she can send JUNKO a message by defeating Q!
(KAGUYA climbs into the ring and confronts Q as they stare each other down before the start of the bell.)
(DING! DING! DING!)
Maki Fujioka: Referee Yuri Watanabe has called for the bell! Q and KAGUYA are on opposite ends, carefully watching each other. The tension is so thick, you can cut it with a knife! KAGUYA and Q initiate a collar-and-elbow tie-up! It looks like a stalemate as both women refuse to budge! KAGUYA looks to be in top shape, but Q is stronger than she appears to be! KAGUYA tries to get Q up against the ropes, but Q uses the momentum to whip her to the opposing side! KAGUYA bounces back - Q gets caught under the chin with a super kick!
Asuka Kuramochi: It looked like Q misread her opponent, as if she was expecting a low dropkick! KAGUYA usually doesn’t open up with such a flashy attack. She wastes no time getting Q to her feet and hitting a back suplex!
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA is already establishing dominance even before we reach the first minute mark! She took advantage of what Q would expect from her, and used it against her opponent! She’s taking her time, stalking around the ring, while Q is holding her lower back! KAGUYA returns to her opponent and blocks the forearm attempt! She fires back with several forearms of her own! Q is lifted off her feet- devastating released German suplex!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA isn’t finished as she balances Q above her head! She falls back with a Samoan Drop and makes the cover!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOONEEEEEEEEEE!
Maki Fujioka: Q gets the shoulder up at one! KAGUYA gets up to a knee, expecting not to win too easily. She picks up her opponent for the Irish whip, Q rebounds - she flips out of the Japanese armdrag and continues her momentum! KAGUYA ducks under the lariat! She grabs the arm and twists - SWINGING NECKBREAKER! Q is now caught in a sleeper hold! She’s trying to fight out of it!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA is delivering an unorthodox offense to keep the challenger guessing! It doesn’t look like Q wasn’t ready for this! The Red Dragon has come out of the gate, swinging!
Maki Fujioka: Let me tell you something Asuka - KAGUYA was preparing for this match ever since she returned! She knew it was only a matter of time before she would have to take on DESPERADOS head on!
Asuka Kuramochi: Q is attempting to get back to her feet, but KAGUYA refuses to let her up! The ref is checking in on her, asking if she wants to quit! Q shakes her head, refusing to give in! With KAGUYA on her back, Q is getting to her feet! She’s trying to find her footing! KAGUYA plants herself on the mat, trying to keep higher ground, but it’s too late! Q slips out from the sleep and counters with a hammerlock! KAGUYA reverses with a wristlock, But Q is trying to set KAGUYA up for a wrist lock After- HURRICANRANA COUNTER! WAIT! Q LANDS ON HER FEET! KAGUYA ducks under the spinning backfist! SNAP SUPLEX! KAGUYA goes for another cover!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TW-
Maki Fujioka: Q kicks out again! She needs to figure something out, find a way to infiltrate KAGUYA’s well planned offense! She seems to have an answer for anything Q throws at her! This is a much different KAGUYA than we’ve seen before!
Asuka Kuramochi: All Q can do right now is fight through the pain until she can find an opening! KAGUYA picks Q up by her hair, ignoring Yuri Watanabe’s warnings! HAMMER THROW TO THE CORNER AND Q SLUMPS DOWN! KAGUYA has a wild look in her eyes...we know what’s coming next! She signals to the audience by pointing at Q! KAGUYA charges forward - Q DODGES THE CANNONBALL! KAGUYA FLIPS OUT ONTO THE APRON! Q goes for a forearm! KAGUYA blocks! A surprise rope-assisted kick to the face of Q! KAGUYA springboards! Q dives forward against the ropes! KAGUYA lands on her feet from the moonsault attempt! Q kicks, but she catches her foot! CAPTURE SUPLEX! KAGUYA has the pin!
Ref: OOOONEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOO!
TH-
Asuka Kuramochi: Q KICKS OUT AGAIN! KAGUYA is in disbelief!
Maki Fujioka: This is Q’s willpower coming into play! This woman is more resilient than what KAGUYA thought!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA is back on her feet, leaning against the ropes! While she has yet to take a hit, she’s exhausting herself trying to stay one step ahead of her opponent! It’s not just a physical thing either - her mind must be taking its toll on her by how fast it’s racing right now! KAGUYA stands up, and makes a finger gun gesture at Q, signaling for the Queen Crimson! She wants to end things as quickly as possible! Q’s still on her back writhing in pain! KAGUYA races forward- SAVATE KICK FROM OUT OF NOWHERE!
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA is on the mat holding her face, while feeling the consequences of unleashing her best move way too early! Q is getting to her feet, picking up KAGUYA with her! Simple snap suplex from DESPERADOS’ enforcer! She’s slow to get back up, but it looks like she’s taking her time with KAGUYA!
Asuka Kuramochi: Q isn’t stupid - she knows that KAGUYA’s strength lies is turning the tables on her opponents out of nowhere! As she gets close, KAGUYA attempts an elbow! Q counters it into an armlock! She’s in total control, as she guides KAGUYA back to her feet! She transitions to a double underhook lock - BEAUTIFUL TIGER SUPLEX BY Q! She has the bridge!
Ref: OOOONEEEEEEE!
TWWWOO--
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA’s up! Man oh man, these women are putting on a showcase of their best moves! Q is showing that she’s just as much a technical wizard as KAGUYA! She wraps her arms around KAGUYA for a hug and DOES A DEADLIFT OF HER OWN! SLAMS HER DOWN WITH A BELLY-TO-BELLY! WOW! KAGUYA is feeling the effects of Q’s underrated power! Q grabs her by the hair, saying some choice words that I can’t repeat! KAGUYA SPITS IN HER FACE! Q IS INFURIATED!
*smack!*
Maki Fujioka: Ow! You could hear that smack echo throughout the entire arena! KAGUYA is rolling along the mat, holding her face! She’s out on the apron, using the ropes to try and collect herself! FRONT DROPKICK BY Q AND KAGUYA GOES FLYING OFF THE APRON ONTO THE FLOOR!
Asuka Kuramochi: Q’s small size matched with a strong lower base and hidden strength catches everyone off guard! Q doesn’t seem like she’s finished as she climbs out to the apron. KAGUYA is getting to her feet, stunned from the surprising reversal of fortune! Q turns her back...MOONSAULT OFF THE APRON! Perfectly timed!
(A replay of Q’s apron moonsault is shown, showing the surprised look on the faces of the audience)
Maki Fujioka: The crowd is just as shocked as we are by her feats of agility!
Yuri Watanabe: One!
Asuka Kuramochi: Yuri Watanabe has begun the count and Q rolls KAGUYA back into the ring! She slides in and assumes a ready position as KAGUYA pushes up to her hands and knees! The killer instinct in Q’s eyes...she goes behind KAGUYA for the deadlift waistlock
Maki Fujioka: Q’S LAMENT!!!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA FLIPS OUT OF THE GERMAN! BRIDGING DRAGON SUPLEX COUNTER!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOOONNEEEEEEE!!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TH-
Asuka Kuamochi: Q KICKS OUT!
Maki Fujioka: Both women can barely move, but it looks like they’re using each other for support to get back to their feet! Their foreheads are pressed together, their mouths gritting their teeth as they fight through the pain!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA hits Q with a forearm smash!
*slap!*
Maki Fujioka: Q returns the favor with a smack across the cheek!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA with a second forearm smash!
Maki Fujioka: Another smack from Q!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA!
Maki Fujioka: Q!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA!
Maki Fujioka: Q staggers back...KAGUYA’S ON THE ASSAULT! FOREARM AFTER FOREARM! She’s wailing on Q like a maniac! KAGUYA hops back - SUPERKICK! Q CAUGHT THE LEG! SHE TRIPS KAGUYA AND TRANSITIONS INTO A BOSTON CRAB!!
Asuka Kuramochi: Q is leaning back all the way with KAGUYA crying out in pain!
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA doesn’t look that good as she’s positioned away from the ropes! She’s trying to fight out of it, but Q has her full weight on her lower back! Q has done her homework! KAGUYA is trying to pull herself forward but Q is doing everything to maintain the hold! Wait...What’s KAGUYA doing!? It looks like she’s adjusting herself! She’s...SHE’S PUSHING HERSELF UP! SHE ROLLS FORWARD AND FLIPS Q ON HER BACK! Both women scramble to their feet- Q HIT THE SHORT LARIAT AND BOTH WOMEN FALL OVER THE ROPES TO THE OUTSIDE!
Asuka Kuramochi: This match has turned into a straight up brawl as both women are throwing everything they can in this match!
Maki Fujioka: Everytime Q finds an edge, KAGUYA finds a way to shut it down. Q decided that she had enough and took a chance. Unfortunately, KAGUYA is the first up and approaches her opponent with caution in her eyes. She picks up Q and RAMS HER INTO THE BARRICADE! Ouch! Her shoulder took the brunt of the impact!
Yuri Watanabe: One!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA is slowing the pace for now, picking apart Q, piece by piece. Look at the dead look in her eyes - I doubt there’s any mercy remaining! KAGUYA slowly makes her way over, looking like The Terminator! Q strikes back with a forearm to the stomach! KAGUYA doubles over for a moment, but it’s enough for Q to follow-up with a kick to the face! KAGUYA stumbles back as Q scrambles up the barricade!
Yuri Watanabe: Two!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA goes after Q after shaking off that last kick - FRONT DROPKICK OFF THE APRON! KAGUYA IS SENT FLYING!
Ref: Three!
Maki Fujioka: Q still has plenty of tricks up her sleeve as she crawls away from KAGUYA, possibly creating some space between them! She seems to be headed towards the ring while KAGUYA tries to snap out of it!
Ref: Four!
Maki Fujioka: Q slides into the ring, with KAGUYA following several feet away! I don’t know if it’s such a good idea for KAGUYA to follow her opponent like this! Q is already on her feet when KAGUYA climbs in. Q’s back in her ready stance! Wait, KAGUYA noticed too late! LARIAT!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: ENZUIGIRI!!!!
Maki Fujioka: Q’S ARM COLLIDES WITH KAGUYA’S SHIN AT THE LAST SECOND! THE IMPACT KNOCKS KAGUYA OFF TO THE SIDE! SHE’S HURT! KAGUYA IS HOLDING HER SHIN! Q THROWS HER ARM UP IN VICTORY! KAGUYA is beginning to see what got Q to the dance!
Asuka Kuramochi: It looks like KAGUYA is also realizing just how devastating the power of Q is! It’s been awhile since I’ve seen Q fight this hard - and smart! She’s playing to her strengths while dipping her foot in deep waters every now and then! KAGUYA is holding her shin, wondering where it all went wrong! Q’s feeling it as she pulls KAGUYA up-
Maki Fujioka: URAKEN!!!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: Q DUCKS! SAVATE KICK- WAIT! KAGUYA LANDS A THRUST KICK AND BOTH WOMEN HAS KNOCKED EACH OTHER DOWN!!!!
Maki Fujioka: BOTH WOMEN COLLIDED WITH THEIR RESPECTIVE MOVES AND THE FANS ARE GOING NUTS!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA is stunned but is trying to come to, as his Q! How much more can these women throw at each other?
Maki Fujioka: Well much do they have left!? As much as they’re willing to give, I guess! Somehow, both women are trying to get back up as Yuri Watanabe starts the countdown for a double knockout! Q is leaning against the ropes, as is KAGUYA on opposite sides of the ring! Both women stumble towards each other, with nothing but inflicting pain on their respective minds! Q starts yelling at KAGUYA - KAGUYA SMACKS HER ACROSS THE FACE WITH THE BACK OF HER HAND!
Asuka Kuramochi: Q ALMOST DOES A FULL 180 FROM THE IMPACT! SHE USES THE MOMENTUM TO STRIKE KAGUYA ACROSS THE FACE WITH A DISCUS SLAP ACROSS THE FACE!
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA’S HOLDING HER FACE, STUNNED BY THE SUDDEN ATTACK! Q’S YELLING AGAIN WITH HER HAND RAISED! SHE SPITS IN KAGUYA’S FACE AGAIN! KAGUYA RESPONDS WITH ANOTHER SMACK! A RAGING Q SLAPS BACK! YOU CAN SEE THE ABSOLUTE RAGE THESE TWO ARE IN!

(“WITH VENGEANCE” by Yosuke Kinoshita plays as KAGUYA rolls off of Q, barely conscious)
Naomi Serizawa: Your winner by pinfall! KAGUYA!
Asuka Kuramochi: She did it! Just like she said she would! One down!
Maki Fujioka: Against what looks like nearly impossible odds! Q gave her everything she had, but it was KAGUYA’s iron will that came through in the end! The two have been feuding across more than one landscape, but yet KAGUYA prevails!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA took everything she had! Everything! Now all that’s left is to worry about the rest of DESPERADOS!
(KAGUYA is helped up by the referee as she climbed the turnbuckle and pointed towards backstage, making a cutthroat gesture. Meanwhile Q is being helped to the back by Rei Kagura.)
(Cut to backstage at the interview area where Q is angry as she throws a steel chair across the room, almost hitting a reporter. Julia Zhang has to come over and calm her down.)
Julia Zhang: Calm down, Q!
Q: Calm down?! I HAD HER! KAGUYA KNOWS THAT I HAD HER BEAT! I WAS THIS CLOSE, JULIA!
Julia Zhang: Well go get cooled off! I have a plan, meet me after my match.
(Q nods as she doesn’t give a comment to the reporters and leaves with Julia and Rei. Meanwhile KAGUYA has made her way backstage as always she is stoic when she speaks.)
KAGUYA: All I have to say is one down.
(KAGUYA has nothing else to say as she leaves the area. The camera cuts to ringside as it’s time for the next contest of the evening.)
---
“Always Forever” by Cults hits the arena as HULK appears, covering her face with her hooded robe. She walks calmly without any pageantry and goes straight to the ring.
Naomi Serizawa: The following contest is scheduled for one fall with a fifteen minute time limit! Introducing first, from Osaka, Japan! She is THE TEN TONS OF STEEL! THIS IS HHUUUUULLLLKKKKKK!!!
Maki Fujioka: This young woman has a steady momentum towards this match. She’s been having two victories in her pocket and that confidence showed that she can go on her consecutive victories against someone stronger, as she just wished.
Asuka Kuramochi: This match might’ve been the toughest challenge for the power wrestler. She has finally met her match, she got what she wants, but the real challenge is to keep up her momentum by winning this bout.
HULK climbs the ring as she grabs the top rope to take a prayer before entering the ring while taking off her hoodie. Her music fades out as we wait for her opponent. “ADAMAS” by LiSA hits as the beat goes off, Machiko jumps from the curtain and smiles to the crowd while she’s fistpumping along the way. The crowd follows her and the chant while fistpumping as well, following the beat.
Naomi Serizawa: AND HER OPPONENT! From Aomori, Japan! SHE IS THE NEW BURNING SPIRIT! THIS IS HASEGAWWWWAAAAAA!!! MMMMAAAAACCCHIIIIIKOOO!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: A non-verbal challenge has been laid by the Aomori-native, Hasegawa. She’s gonna act as a giant barrier that could be stopping HULK to keep on track.
Maki Fujioka: HULK asked for it. She wanted someone who can be a tough challenger for her. It’s time for her to fight against someone her own size and she got that match. Machiko Hasegawa is definitely the person who can give a big challenge to the Weightlifter.
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Asuka Kuramochi: Yuri motions for the bell, as this match begins with a test of strength by Machiko. HULK is cautious as she slowly locks up, but she locks up with Machiko as the two seem to be evenly matched. The two have a back and forth as both women are equally matched, until Machiko manges to get the leverage advantage against HULK. Machiko forces HULK down and tries to pin her shoulders to the ground, but HULK manages to fight back and shove Machiko breaking the hold.
Maki Fujioka: I think Machiko underestimated just how strong HULK is, Asuka. HULK begins laying in a series of Forearms and Slaps onto Machiko as she takes all the strikes. Maciko returns the favor by laying into HULK with a series of her own Forearms and Slaps. The two begin striking each other back and forth before HULK runs to the ropes and nails a hard Clothesline, but Machiko only slightly moved. Machiko runs to the ropes and hits a hard Shoulder Block to HULK as she slightly moves. HULK goes to ropes again, but is stopped short when Machiko lands a Gamengiri and quickly follows it with a Spinning Backhand Chop!
Asuka Kuramochi: She isn't done yet as she begins laying into HULK with Machine Gun chops!
Crowd: One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Nine! Ten! Eleven! Twelve! Thirteen! Fourteen! Fifteen!
Maki Fujioka: Fifteen chops! She is able to land before HULK is against the ropes. Machiko takes her hand and begins choking HULK against the ropes until referee Yuri forces her to break it. Machiko lets ago and backways as HULK is trying to regain her breath. HULK steps forward a bit before...
Maki and Asuka: HAAAASEEEEGGGAAAWWWWAAAA LARIAT!!!
Yuri Watanabe : One! Two!
Asuka Kuromachi: HULK manages to kick out at two! I am surprised HULK managed to kick out so soon.
Maki Fuijoka: Asuka, I think it is gonna take more to put away HULK. These two women are adamant about displaying their strength and showing the other.
Asuka: Kuromachi: That is true Maki as Machiko offers another test of strength. HULK instead slaps Machiko across the face, but Machiko answers with one of her own. HULK and Machiko begin sizing the other one up as the two touch forehead to forehead. HULK slaps Machiko, and Machiko replies right back as the two begin exchanging slaps back and forth. HULK has enough and begins landing a series of Forearms onto Machiko as she begins to change the flow of the match in her favor.
Maki Fuijoka: HULK applies a Facelock to Machiko as she delivers a Snap Suplex, but she isn't done yet! She follows it with another Snap Suplex. Another Snap Suplex. HULK finishes the combo with a Brainbuster! HULK covers!
Yuri Watanabe: One!
Asuka Kuramochi: Machiko kicks out at just one! She is sending a message to a HULK that it is going to take more than that to finish her. HULK runs to ropes as Machiko is getting up and...she beams Machiko with the Little Blade! Machiko is laid out flat, but HULK lifts up Machiko and begins running with her...
Maki Fujioka: Farewell, Osaka! Farewell, Osaka! She managed to land it!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two!
Asuka Kuramochi: Kick out by Machiko at two! HULK looked surprised as she was sure that would put Machiko away. HULK quickly lifts Machiko up and applies a rear waistlock. German Suplex by HULK! HULK isn't done as she maintains the hold and rolls over, and applies a Full Nelson...Dragon Suplex! HULK is definitely sending a message to Machiko...she maintains the hold and rolls with it! She has the Double Chickenwing applied...Tiger Suplex! She bridges!
Maki Fuijoka: This could be it!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two!
Maki Fujioka: No! Machiko kicks out at two! Machiko is not giving in to HULK and HULK isn't letting up on Machiko! These two want to show who is the more dominant Powerhouse. HULK lifts Machiko up and runs to the ropes, but Machiko runs behind her and lands a stiff Clothesline sending both women out onto the outside!
Asuka Kuramochi: That was a hard crash onto the outside as both women are laid out flat. Machiko is the first to slowly raise as HULK soon follows. They begin trading strikes back and forth as they slowly raise up, and Machiko is the first to her feet as she gets a Face Lock on HULK and lifts her up...Brainbuster! Machiko lands a Brainbuster on the outside of the ring! Machiko lifts the lifeless body of HULK up as she throws her into the ringpost...Machiko quickly follows it up with a German Suplex of her own!
Maki Fujioka: Machiko is showing what happens when you try to test her. Referee Yuri begins her count..
Yuri Watanabe: One!...Two!...Three!...Four!...Five!...
Maki Fujioka: Machiko is paying it no mind as she waits for HULK to raise to her feet...HULK is up on her feet as Machiko lays a series of Forearms onto HULK. Machiko applies a Single Hand Choke...is she looking for the...
Maki and Asuka: She lands her signature Shot Put Chokeslam on the apron of the ring! HULK just landed back first onto the apron and with all the force of Machiko that has to be devastating!
Yuri Watanabe: Six!...Seven!...Eight!...Nine!...Ten!...
Asuka Furomachi: Machiko lifts up HULK body once more and lands another Haaegawa Lariat! This has to be it! Machiko gets in the ring not looking for a double count out.
Yuri Watanabe: Eleven!...Twelve!...Thirteen!...Fourteen!...Fifteen!...Sixteen!...Seventeen!...Eighteen!...Nineteen!...
Maki Fujioka: HULK has managed to get in the ring before she was counted! How she managed to do it is beyond anyone's doubt!
Asuka Kuramochi: You said it, Maki. I don't think anyone would have guessed HULK would have gotten in the ring after everything Machiko did to her. Machiko frustrated lifts HULK up and Irish Whips her into the ropes, but...Little Blade! With what energy HULK had left she managed to nail the HUGE LARIAT again!!
Maki Fujioka: She is lifting Machiko, and she is looking for Farewell, Osaka! again! HULK begins running, and...Machiko reverses it into a Sitout Facebuster! Machiko had to think quickly and she did! Machiko quickly applies a Double Underhook and...
Asuka and Maki: HASEGAWA-BOMB! HASEGAWA-BOMB! HASEGAWA-BOMB!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Three!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(“ADAMAS” plays again as Machiko looks absolutely exhausted)
Naomi Serizawa: YOUR WINNER BY PINFALL! HHHHHAAAASEEEGAWWWA MACHIKO!!!!
Maki Fujioka: These two hard-hitters showcased their pure raw strength and were wrestling as if they were high speed wrestlers. Incredible!
Asuka Kuramochi: However, you couldn’t count HULK out in this bout. She might be just a rookie, but she can keep up with someone with more experience and gave us a showcase of her talent and made sure to make everyone see what she’s all about.
Maki Fujioka: HULK is down but she’s definitely not out. This is just a small setback for the young girl but everyone is getting a huge expectation from her and her will of steel.
Asuka Kuramochi: But we gotta give it to the winner of this match, that woman right there, Machiko. A truly deserving victory!
(Machiko celebrates her victory after the referee raises her arm. Machiko climbs the turnbuckle to raise her arm on her own in victory while HULK is on the opposite side of the corner, leaning on the bottom turnbuckle while holding her body in pain while looking disappointed. Machiko then turns her attention on HULK as she walks approaching her. Once Machiko is close, she only gives a smirk to HULK, not even trying to help her to get up while slowly nodding her head. HULK accepts it as her expression changes. Machiko then rolls outside the ring to leave the arena with a smile on her face. HULK is soon helped out by the young girls as she moves sluggishly at the moment.)
(Intermission)
(Camera cuts back to ringside for the next match of the evening.)

“Rage of Dust” by SPYAIR plays Mizuki and Natsu are coming out together, followed by loud cheers as they are two fan favorites ofJET. They smile and wave their hands as they make their way down to the ring.
Naomi Serizawa: The following tag team contest is scheduled for ONE FALL with a fifteen time limit, introducing first… they are the team of Toyama Natsu AND THE ACE OF JET… NAAAAAKKKKKKAAAAATTTTTAAAA MIIIIIIZZZZUUUKKIIII!!!
Maki Fujioka: These two are the heart and soul of Joshi Extreme Takeover. They’ve given their blood, sweat and tears to be the foundation of this company. Now they are teaming up to face the dominant force of DESPERADOS.
Asuka Kuramochi: Not to forget that Mizuki is facing her arch-nemesis, SAIKO in this match as well. They have faced off in some brutal matches in the past including a brutal deathmatch last year and now once again they cross paths once again this year.
Mizuki and Midori head to their corner as they await for their opponents to come out. Soon “Rage of Dust” is replaced by “The only thing I know for real (instrumental) ” by Jamie Christopherson.
Naomi Serizawa: And their opponents, representing DESPERADOS. the team of Jessica Rose and the winner of the 2020 Miss Manami Tributary Shield, THE MOB PSYCHO!!! SSSSSAAAAAIIIKOOOOOO!!!!
SAIKO and Jessica come out from the curtain, looking at the crowd who seem to give them a loud negative reception. Jessica responds by trash-talking the crowd that makes the crowd boos them even louder. However, SAIKO seems to not care about the crowd’s reaction. Her eyes are focused on the ring, looking at one point, which is Mizuki Nakata who is already standing there, waiting for her.
Asuka Kuramochi: This group has been showing their dominance and still showing everyone that they run this place. Especially when JUNKO is on the top of the mountain as our JET Champion.
Maki Fujioka: Look at SAIKO right there… Her eyes can’t seem to go away on Mizuki. She’s stalking her prey and focusing on one point only. So does The Ace… That smirk tells us that she wants SAIKO to bring it on.
Both members of DESPERADOS enter the ring and SAIKO wants to square up immediately with Mizuki but it seems that referee Yuri Watanabe wants her to back up and go to her corner.
Maki Fujioka: Yuri Watanabe is making sure to keep things in order right now. She knows well that Mizuki and SAIKO are willing to do violent things to one another.
SAIKO backs up and heads to her corner as Yuri Watanabe goes to ring the opening bell for the match to start.
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Asuka Kuramochi: With the sound of the bell, this tag team match is underway, and it looks like it is going to be Jessica Rose and Natsu Toyama. Jessica starts out red hot as she begins laying into Natsu with a series of Shoot Kicks. Natsu counters with her own series of Shoot Kicks. Natsu and Jessica begin staring at one another and circling the ring. Natsu offers a test of strength, but Jessica slaps it away and lands a Elbow Smash across Natsu's face, and quickly moves out of the way of Natsu's Forearm Smash. Jessica is playing mind games with Natsu by taking these pop shots. Mizuki is reaching for Natsu asking her to tag in, but Jessica rushes behind Natsu and hits a Release German Suplex!
Maki Fujioka: As bad as I hate to say Asuka, Jessica is playing this smart. Natsu is on her feet, but Jessica hits a fierce Front Dropkick on Natsu sending her into the corner. Jessica hits a Running Corner Single High Knee, and tags in SAIKO. Jessica hits a Snap Suplex out of the corner as SAIKO is on the top rope and lands a Moonsualt Double Foot Stomp! SAIKO has her eyes set on Natsu as she is slowly getting up. SAIKO lands a Running Knee Strike to the side of Natsu's face. SAIKO is lifting Natsu's lifeless body and laughing at her. SAIKO slaps Natsu's face with striking force as Natsu stumbles. SAIKO whips Natsu into the corner and tags in Jessica. Jessica is on the top rope and SAIKO has Natsu set up for a Tombstone Piledriver.
Asuka & Maki: Tombstone Piledriver! Tombstone Piledriver!
Asuka Kuromachi: This has to be it, Maki! That Aided Tombstone Piledriver sealed Natsu's and Mizuki's fate!
Yuri Watanabe : One! Two!
Asuka Kuramochi: No! Mizuki came in at the last second and broke the pin attempt. Mizuki quickly drags Natsu to their corner and quickly tags in as Natsu rolls to the outside. Mizuki is a house of fire as she begins a barrage of Elbows and Forearms followed by a Lariat. SAIKO is stunned, but Mizuki isn't letting up as she gets a Full Nelson on SAIKO and begins swinging her around!
Crowd: One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven!
Maki Fujioka: Seven times! Mizuki spun SAIKO for seven times, and she still has the hold maintained! She plants SAIKO with a Dragon Suplex, but she keeps the hold and follows it with a Full Nelson Slam! Mizuki is on fire, Asuka, as she is clearly sending a message.
Asuka Kuramochi: That's true, Maki, as Mizuki lifts SAIKO up and whips her into her corner. Mizuki follows it with a Corner Dropkick as SAIKO drops down in the corner. Bullet Train! Bullet Train! Mizuki nailed the Bullet Train and quickly followed it with the HUGE Laniakea! Mizuki is showing out as she lifts SAIKO's lifeless body as she tags Natsu in. Natsu quickly gets behind SAIKO and applies Double Hammerlocks.
Maki & Asuka: Final Answer! Final Answer!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Thr--
Maki Fujioka: No. Jessica came in and broke the hold! Jessica begins laying into Natsu with a series of Elbows before Yuri tells Jessica to get back in her corner. Jessica heads back to her corner as SAIKO grabs Natsu's left leg, tripping her. SAIKO maintains her hold as she transitions it into a Single Leg Boston Crab. SAIKO is wrenching the leg and lower back, but she wants to add insult to Natsu as she begins stomping on her head! SAIKO is stomping relentlessly as she is hoping Natsu will tap out.
Asuka Kuramochi: SAIKO lets go of the hold as Natsu isn't giving in as easy as she thought. SAIKO has Natsu dead in her eyes as she gets THE TEKE-TEKE LOCK! She has that Crossface Chickenwing locked in tight! SAIKO falls on her back as she gets Bodyscissors on Natsu! This is it, Maki, Natsu has to tap out right now!
Maki Fujioka: You may be right, Asuka, as there is no way Natsu can get out of this hold. SAIKO keeps tightening the hold and Natsu will have to tap soon enough..
Maki & Asuka: Missile Dropkick! Mizuki from nowhere nails a Missile Dropkick to the shoulder of SAIKO forcing the break!
Asuka Kuramochi: I know, Natsu has to be grateful for that break. Mizuki heads back to her corner as Natsu quickly gets in a tag. Mizuki charges at SAIKO, but SAIKO hits a Legsweep giving her time to tag in Jessica. Jessica charges towards Mizuki landing a Leg Lariat! Jessica isn't letting up as she hits a Standing Moonsault and Shooting Star Press back to back! Jessica covers.
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two!
Maki Fujioka: Mizuki is able to kick out at two. Jessica wastes no time as she heads to the ropes... Shot of Rose! The Springboard Penalty Kick connected square on Mizuki! Mizuki is laid out as Jessica tags in SAIKO, but not before heading to the top rope. Tempest Stinger! Jessica connected with the Diving Double Foot Stomp, but SAIKO follows it with a LUCIOLA SPLASH! The High-Angle Frog Splash connects! SAIKO isn't going for the cover, instead she is lifting Mizuki up…
Asuka Kuramochi: RED ROOM! RED ROOM! Maki! SAIKO managed to nail Mizuki with the RED ROOM! SAIKO charges at Natsu and hits a hard Jumping Elbow Smash sending Natsu off of the corner! SAIKO tags in Jessica, who goes straight to Mizuki and lifts graved body up. Jessica smiles and taunts Mizuki for effort, but she…
Asuka & Maki: Rose Trigger! Rose Trigger!
Maki Fujioka: This is it! Wait! Rose Trigger again! Jessica is sending a message and is using Mizuki to do so!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Three!
Asuka & Maki: No!
Asuka Furomachi: Mizuki somehow by sheer will got her hand on the ropes breaking the count! Jessica is furious at this as a determined look comes across her face. Mizuki is slow to her feet as she has a devilish grin across her face. Jessica looks at Mizuki and slaps her across the face as Mizuki replies right back. Both Mizuki and Jessica are trading slap back and forth until both are standing on their feet staring at each other dead in the eyes. Mizuki quickly grabs Jessica by the hair before planting a nasty looking Facebreaker Knee Smash! Mizuki goes to lift Jessica, but SAIKO tries to interfere! Mizuki scouts it and hits a Low-Angle Dropkick to SAIKO's leg!
Maki Fujioka: Mizuki isn't done, she grabs SAIKO's legs and begins swinging her around AGAIN WITH A GIANT SWING!! She lets go at one as SAIKO's head hits the ring post and rolls out! Mizuki turns her attention back to Jessica as she lifts her up again. Mizuki is looking for the Laniakea...No! Jessica managed to transition it into the Dreaded Rose! Jessica nailed the cutter out of nowhere and Jessica covers!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Three!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
The bell rings as “Low Life” by Crobot begins to play. Jessica lets go of the pin and just throws Mizuki’s leg away from her. She looks so smug as she just pinned JET’s Ace. She gets up and quickly demands the referee to raise her arm together with SAIKO to show that they proudly defeated Mizuki.
Naomi Serizawa: YOUR WINNER BY PINFALL…. JESSICA ROSE AND SAIKO, DESPERADOS!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: There we have it. DESPERADOS still continue to make their dominance known. Now they beat the Heart and Soul of JET. Jessica has pinned The Ace! Jessica has pinned Mizuki not once but twice this year in separate matches.
Maki Fujioka: It’s not JUNKO who is the main piece of this group, but SAIKO, Jessica and the other members are still as dangerous as their leader. With a win in this match, this will solidify DESPERADOS’ strength against the JET locker room..
(Meanwhile, Natsu rolls back inside to check on Mizuki then helps her out of the ring while DESPERADOS are still celebrating. Camera cut to commercial with the final shot before then is DESPERADOS all smug and confident.)
(Commercial Break for the sponsor of the show Rakuten.)
---
Naomi Serizawa: The following bout is a four way match with a fifteen minute time limit and it is for an JET Academy Championship title opportunity.
“New world” by BACK-ON hits the arena, and Makiya Kusanagi appears behind the entrance curtain, looking at the crowd with a smile as she walks on the ramp while waving her hands.
Naomi Serizawa: Introducing first! From KOBE, JAPAN… SHE IS THE MOUNTAIN JAGUAR! KKKKKUUUUUSSSSSSAAAAANAGGII!! MAAAAKIIIYYAAA!!!!
Maki Fujioka: These four are the best competitors personally picked by our own GM, Yoko Kudo. Including this woman right here. Makiya seems very determined and pretty sure will do her best to get this opportunity and claim the title shot for her.
Makiya hits another pose at one of the corners before her music fades out, changing into ”Goya no Machiawase” by Hello Sleepwalkers. Julia comes, showing off her strikes with a mixed reaction from the crowd.
Naomi Serizawa: AND HER OPPONENT, REPRESENTING DESPERADOS! SHE IS JUUULIIAAA ZZZHHHAAAANNG!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: With her stablemates getting a victory just earlier, Julia looks really motivated to win this match and bring the title under DESPERADOS name. But this will be easier said than done because she’s gonna fight three other talented wrestlers with a common goal for themselves.
Maki Fujioka: We still don’t know what Julia’s plan really is. Do you think Q is going to be helping her win here tonight?
Julia enters the ring and looks at Makiya, mocking her and laughing at her. She then goes to her corner, waiting for the next competitors to come. “Senbonzakura” by Wagakkiband hits. Amy appears in the curtain, looking very serious as she takes her time walking slowly to the ring.
Naomi Serizawa: And their opponent! FROM TOKYO, JAPAN! SHE IS THE RED QUEEN! AAAAMMMMYYYYY SSSSLLLLLAAAAAYYYTTTTOOON!
Maki Fujioka: I can feel the intensity look on this woman so much. Amy looks focused on her task to win the match and there will be no nonsense for her. She is my personal pick for this match. She has demanded to get a rematch for the Academy Championship since losing it back in August at Goddess Dream. It’s not a proper rematch but she has a chance to get her title back if she wins here in tonight.
She gets inside and looks at the two alternately without even moving her body. And the last competitor is here. “Dalla Dalla” by ITZY starts to play as Nami appears with her personal bodyguard. She looks like a fan favorite but Nami just ignores her fans.
Naomi Serizawa: AND FINALLY! FROM OSAKA, JAPAN! ACCOMPANIED BY ONI USHI! SHE IS THE GOLDEN QUEEN OF JET! NNNNNNAAAAAAAMMMMIIIIII!!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: Speaking of personal favorites… Oh, look at those lightsticks from the crowd, so nostalgic~ Wait a minute.... What is her bodyguard doing, breaking the crowd’s lightstick like that?! You know what, I take back my words, she sucks… --sorry. not supposed to give my opinion here.
Maki Fujioka: Let’s talk about NAMI for just one moment! She just started her professional wrestling career this past August and was trained by JET’s own head trainer, Eijiro Takahashi. The man responsible for training most of the current homegrown stars. Though she has lost matches, she has had multiple notable wins including one against Azumi Goto during this past RISE Grand Prix. She is capable of big wins and showed it.
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Asuka Kuromachi: This number one contenders match for the JET Academy Title match begins as yuri sounds the bell, and instantly NAMI rolls out of the ring, and sits in a chair provided by Oni, who is standing on guard. Julia quickly rolls out the ring to confront NAMI, but Oni stands in her way as the former Academy Champion, Amy, and Makiya get in a Collar-and-Elbow tie up. Julia is still confronting Oni about NAMI, but Makiya manages to break the hold as she whips Amy towards her, nailing her with a Short-Arm Lariat! Makiya goes for the cover, but Amy grabs Makiya's arm as she begins applying a Cross Armbar, and as she did that Oni just nailed a right hook on Julia! Makiya is struggling to the ropes as Julia is stunned by the hit! This is total chaos, Maki!
Maki Fujioka: That might be an understatement, Asuka, as Makiya manages to get to the ropes and causes the break. NAMI takes this opportunity and hits Julia with the steel chair she was sitting on as Oni gets in the ring! Amy turns her attention to Oni as she begins a barrage of Forearm Strikes on Oni forcing her into the corner. As Amy runs to the opposite corner and nails a Corner Running Big Boot. There is blood dripping from her nose, Asuka! Amy must have broken her nose when he hit Oni with that Big Boot! Oni is seated in the corner covering her nose as Amy is going for another Running Big Boot, but Makiya cuts that short as she grabs a hold of Amy's right leg and trips her. She waste no time setting up a Kneebar as Oni rolls out of the ring. NAMI is checking on Oni as she is concerned for her friend, but seeing what Amy has done infuriates NAMI. She quickly gets in the ring and begins stomping away on Amy as now it is a two on one situation for Amy. Amy manages to trip NAMI, and she is trying to get the rope to break the kneebar of Makiya.
Asuka Kuromachi: Amy is looking like she was about to tap, but wait...NAMI begins laying into Makiya with a series of stomps forcing her to break the hold. NAMI quickly turns her attention to Amy, who is slowly getting up, and nails her with a VELVET BLOOD but Julia sweeps NAMI's leg, and runs over her and hits Flip the Switch on Amy! Julia quickly applies the Execution on Amy! Julia is tightening the hold looking for Amy to tap out or pass out, but...Makiya hits a Roundhouse kick from behind forcing Juila to let go of the hold as Amy rolls out of the ring! NAMI turns around, but Makiya nails the Final Peak on NAMI! She isn't done yet she lifts NAMI up...Wairudokādo Clutch! Wairudokādo Clutch!
Maki Fujioka: Makiya has it locked in tight. This could be it because if NAMI doesn't tap out then...wait...Oni just rushed in and nailed a knee to the back of the head of Makiya causing her to break the hold! Oni, wanting to protect NAMI rolls her out of the ring as she begins laying into the downed Makiya with a series of Haymakers. Oni is paying no attention to her surroundings as Amy makes her way back into the ring, and quickly hits Release German Suplex! Amy sends Oni flying, and kips up quickly as she heads over to the lifeless Makiya and lifts her up. Amy is looking for the Devil's Dance...Julia nails a Flying Knee on Amy as Makiya drops to the mat! Julia quickly recovers and heads over to Amy and lifts her up...Falcon Arrow! Falcon Arrow! Wait she isn't done as she maintains the hold and transitions it into a Brainbuster! Julia covers.
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two!
Asuka & Maki: No! NAMI just landed a Diving Double Foot Stomp to the back of Julia forcing the break!
Asuka Kuramochi: This has been anyone's match because it seems like once someone gets something going another denies it, and tries to take advantage of it. NAMI rolls Julia off of Amy as she lifts Amy up with a Double Wrist Lock...PLASTIC SURGERY! PLASTIC SURGERY! NAMI covers.
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two!
Maki Fujioka: No! Somehow Makiya managed to break the pin just in the nick of time! NAMI is furious as she grabs the hair of Makiya and begins yelling at her. Makiya grabs NAMI's hair and begins yelling back...wait...Julia is on the top rope and she nails a Missile Front Dropkick on both NAMI and Makiya sending both crashing onto the ground! Julia goes over to NAMI and gets a Bow and Arrow hold on her. Julia is making NAMI pay as she is tightening the hold…
Asuka Kuramochi: We could see NAMI tap here...Irish Death! From out of nowhere Amy just nailed the Irish Death square on NAMI! Julia lets go of the hold as NAMI is in intense pain and rolls out of the ring. Amy quickly grabs the legs of Julia and applies the Black Sabbath! Amy is holding Julia at a vertical base, and this has to be it, Maki.
Maki Fujioka: I am inclined to agree, Asuka. This has to be it because…
Asuka & Maki: NAMI just nailed a Rolling Wheel Kick! Amy lands on her knees and Julia is driven straight down onto the mat! She isn't finished yet...DOUBLE! She finishes it with Front Flip Kick in a sequence she calls DOUBLE! Wait! VELVET BLOOD! VELVET BLOOD! VELVET BLOOD!
Maki Fujioka: Nami just nailed three VELVET BLOODS in a row! Amy is laid out, and...NAMI goes for the cover, but Makiya goes to break it...Huge Clothesline from Oni stopping Makiya as NAMI covers!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Three!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
“Dalla Dalla” plays again as Nami lets go of her hook on Amy’s leg and lets out a sinister smirk while fixing her hair. The referee then raises her hand while NAMI looks so proud with her victory.
Naomi Serizawa: YOUR WINNER BY PINFALL AND NEW NUMBER CONTENDER TO THE ACADEMY CHAMPIONSHIP! NNNAAAAAAAMIIIII!!!
Maki Fujioka: There you go, Mocchi…. your favorite wins the match.
Asuka Kuramochi: Huh? I am sorry? Did I say something about my favorite? I don’t reckon calling her my favorite.
Maki Fujioka: But you just said-- ….whatever. Congratulations to NAMI. Now she got herself a title shot and will have to wait till tonight’s main event winner is determined. She’s gonna watch the match close and will make the right gameplan to make this momentum as her own advantage.
Asuka Kuramochi: ……
Maki Fujioka: What happened?
Asuka Kuramochi: I am still salty about that bodyguard breaking a random guy’s lightstick. That thing is not cheap!
Oni Ushi helps Nami roll out the ring and then raises her hand at ringside, still celebrating her victory. NAMI poses at the top of the ramp with her bodyguard as the other competitors are being helped by their respective seconds.
Soon a video package for Hannah vs Rio plays. The focus is on Rio Kurokawa’s incredible reign as the first ever JET National Champion where she has faced off against all challengers that have stepped up along with that is her nearly winning her RISE Grand Prix block but missing out due to some key losses including one to Hannah Rockford on Night 8 of the round robin stage. Hannah’s challenge to Rio at GP Finals last month is also shown as Hannah believes that she is the perfect challenger to beat Rio for the National Title. The video ends with Hannah and Rio staring one another down with the champion having her title high in the air.
---
“We Appreciate Power” by Grimes plays as Hannah Rockford makes her way down to the ring wearing a red and black attire that has become her signature look. Hannah nods as the crowd gives her a positive reaction.
Naomi Serizawa: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL WITH TWENTY MINUTE TIME LIMIT AND IT IS FOR THE JET NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP! INTRODUCING FIRST… FROM WEXFORD TOWN, IRELAND! SHE IS THE PRODIGY! HHHHHAAAAAANNNNNAAAAAHHHH RRRROOOOOCCCKFORRRDD!!!
Maki Fujioka: It’s been a year plus since Hannah Rockford was in a JET title match, to say things have been slow for The Prodigy would be an understatement but Hannah stole the show at this past RISE Grand Prix where she was able to get some important wins including one against her opponent tonight.
Asuka Kuramochi: It’s a huge chance for her to break out but her opponent is someone to beware. The JET National Champion is definitely one to fear.
Hannah enters the ring and tosses her baseball cap to the crowd. Soon “We Appreciate Power” changes to “Demon’s Cradle” by Sadie. The crowd continues to give a mostly positive reaction as Rio Kurokawa makes her way out from the back. Similar to her opponent, Rio Kurokawa has a red and black attire with the only difference is the JET National Championship around her waist.
Naomi Serizawa: And her opponent, from SETSU, OSAKA, JAPAN! SHE IS THE JET NATIONAL CHAMPION! KURRRROOOOOOKAWAAAAAAA!!! RIIIIIOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Maki Fujioka: When the JET National Champion was created it was to find the wrestlers who represent the values of Japanese wrestling and no one has done that better than the Rio Kurokawa. She has been champion National Champion since March of this year and proved that she can handle the pressure of a singles title reign.
Asuka Kuramochi: She has defeated the then-undefeated Q and her former tag partner Tomoyo Hirate. Two incredible defenses and include one of the best GP performances I had seen from a champion as she was just two wins away from winning the block and Hannah has to be looked at as one of the reasons she didn’t win. Maybe a measure of revenge tonight.
Rio Kurokawa enters the ring and looks right at Hannah. There is a moment of tension as the champion hands her belt to referee Yuri Watanabe who raises it in the air before passing it to Naomi and asking for the belt to be rung.
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Asuka Kuramochi: Yuri signals for the bell, as the JET National Title match begins. Hannah right out the gate hits a Superkick on Rio, and quickly whips her into the ropes and lands a beautiful standing Dropkick. Hannah goes for a Standing Moonsault, but Rio rolls out of the way quickly and Hannah lands flat on her face. Rio takes this opportunity and manages to lock in a Single Leg Boston Crab. Hannah is trying to get to the ropes, but Rio pulls her back to the middle of the ring, and transitions the hold into a Kneebar!
Maki Fujioka: Rio knows what she is doing, Asuka, because she is a calculated fighter. Hannah continues to try to make it to the ropes, but Rio is holding onto the Kneebar. Hannah makes it to the rope as Rio is forced to break the hold, but she grabs Hannah's left leg and drags her once again to the middle of the ring. Rio looks like she is going for an Ankle Lock, but she slams the left knee of Hannah hard on the mat! If Hannah wants to win the belt from Rio, she is going to outsmart Rio.
Asuka Kuramochi: That is true Maki, but it seems like Hannah may have bitten off more than she can chew as Rio applies a Gorilla Clutch! Rio working and damaging Hannah's leg is smart on her part. Hannah again is trying to get to the ropes to break the hold, but Rio is wrenching the legs of Hannah. Hannah does, by a miracle, manage to get to the ropes, and Rio breaks the hold. Yuri is checking on Hannah to see if she is still able to wrestle. Hannah is getting up as Rio goes for a Running Roundhouse Kick, but Hannah ducks it and goes for a roll-up!
Maki Fujioka: There is no count as Rio quickly manages to kick out before a one count, and the two women are back on their feet as the crowd applauded what they have seen so far. Rio tries to go for a shoot kick on Hannah's left leg, but Hannah moves her leg as she has turned her body to the right guarding that left leg. Rio goes for another kick, but Hannah gets a quick elbow in as Rio staggers back a bit. Hannah is now unleashing on Rio. Hannah hits one last stiff elbow strike before nailing a Superkick on Rio's left leg, which Hannah follows it up with a Shining Wizard!
Yuri Watanabe: One!
Asuka Kuromachi: Rio manages to kick out at one as now Rio begins her own series of elbow strikes on Hannah and finishes it with a Rolling Elbow. Hannah is down, and Rio is looking towards the sky as hits the Umeda Skyline! This has to be it, but Rio isn't going for the pin just yet as she lifts Hannah and hits a Everest German Suplex...she maintains the hold trainstions it into the Ketsueki Toll!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two!
Asuka and Maki: No! Hannah somehow kicks out at two!
Maki Fujioka: Rio was sure that would have put Hannah away, but Hannah seems like she isn't giving up that easy. Hannah is slow to get to her feet as Rio thinks of what to do next. Rio begins charging towards Hannah looking for a Running Roundhouse, but Hannah ducks it and gets up quickly to get behind Rio and nails a German Suplex of her own! She trainstions it into a Back Suplex position...Lumbar Check! Hannah has managed to hit it, but she is grabbing that left knee as she gets up! That was a costly move, but it may have got Hannah some time to get up and think about her next move. Rio is on her feet as Hannah runs and hits the Millennial Kick sending Rio straight and hard into the corner ringpost!
Asuka Kuramochi: Rio hit that post with some force, but there is no time to waste as Hannah charges at Rio and nails a Jumping Forearm Smash! Rio drops the ground as Hannah is looking to capitalize as she nails a Running Basement Dropkick in the corner! Hannah moves Rio's body out of the corner as she climbs up to the top rope. Hannah launches from the top rope and lands a Diving Leg Drop! Hannah is wasting no time as she lifts up Rio's motionless body looking for the Fall to Pieces! Hannah manages to hit it, but she doesn't go for the cover! Hannah lifts her one more time as Rio's body is swaying as she is standing.
Maki Fujioka: Hannah begins to run towards Rio as she is looking for the Gen Z Knees, but wait...she misses it as Rio just falls to the ground! Yuri rushes to Rio to see if she is able to compete. Hannah is furious as she begins stomping on Rio...wait it was a ruse! Rio has grabbed the left of Hannah and gets a single leg takedown and transitions it into a High-Angle Single Leg Boston Crab! Rio had this all scouted out, and Hannah is suffering for it. Hannah is struggling, but Rio knows what is going to happen as she begins bending back to vertical base. Yuri is asking Hannah if she submits, but Hannah is refusing to do so. Rio maintains the hold of the leg, but transitions it into a Modified Short Ankle Lock!
Asuka Kuramochi: Maki this has to be it. There is no way Hannah makes it out of this. The pain she has to be in has to be unbearable. Rio tightens the hold as Hannah begins laying into the side of Rio trying to break the hold. Hannah manages to get Rio to break the hold by a well placed hammerfist to the kidney of Rio! Rio grabs her side as she gets up, and Hannah is holding her leg. Both women are slow to their feet, but begin a trade of Elbows. Rio goes for another Rolling Elbow, but Hannah ducks and she answers it with a...stiff headbutt and both her and Rio are busted!
Maki Fujioka: We have blood now in this match, and the crowd is ecstatic about it. Hannah knew she had to do something desperate to get something going for her. Hannah hits another Millennial Kick, which is followed by Corner Single High Knee, and she finishes her combination with a Sliding Forearm Smash in the corner. She yanks Rio's body from the corner, and climbs to the top rope. She’s slow in getting up there but Hannah jumps and nails a brutal Double Foot Stomp onto Rio, but she hands back up to the top rope! Shooting Star Press! Shooting Star Press! Hannah just landed it! Hannah doesn't go for the cover!
Asuka Kuramochi: She should have covered Maki, but I think Hannah has something special for Rio. Hannah is watching Rio like a vulture. Rio gets to her knees as Hannah lands a brutal Gen Z Knee! Rio gravely falls to the mat as Hannah covers.
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Three!
Maki & Asuka: No!
Asuka Kuramochi: Rio managed to kick out at the very last dead second she could! Hannah is slamming her hands on the mat as Rio is grabbing her neck and wipes some blood away from her forehead. Both women are against the other as they are trying to think of how to win. Hannah slaps Rio as Rio replies back with a Elbow Strike as she unleashes her fury on Hannah! She hits a Rolling Elbow, which is followed by the Shatter-Shock! Rio hits a Double Foot Stomp onto Hannah's left leg! Hannah is grabbing her leg as Rio has a grim smile on her face as she taunts Hannah in her face. Yuri begins checking on Hannah as Rio playfully kicks at Hannah's head. Yuri motions for Rio to move or she will call the match so Rio moves away still taunting Hannah. Hannah waves Yuri off as she gets on her feet, but he damage is done for you can see the limp even as Hannah is standing.
Maki Fujioka: Rio begins charging towards Hannah, but Hannah stops it with Superkick! Rio is stunned, Hannah wastes no time as she hits a Bicycle Kick for good measure! Hannah grabs the dazed Rio and lifts her up...Prodigy Breaker!
Maki & Asuka: No! She isn't able to complete the move as her left knee gave out!
Maki Fujioka: Asuka, that for sure was gonna give Hannah the win, but the damage Rio has done has paid off for her. Rio goes behind her and capitalizes, she lands a hard landing Everest German Suplex! Rio transitions the German Suplex into the Ketsueki Toll! BRIDGING DRAGON SUPLEX FROM RIO!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Three!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
“Demon’s Cradle” plays again as the crowd gives a positive reaction. Rio Kurokawa is being helped by the young girls along with Hannah. She is being helped out of the ring but the crowd is cheering her for an incredible contest.
Naomi Serizawa: Your winner and STILL JET NATIONAL CHAMPION!!! KUUURRROKKAWAAAA RIIIIOOOOOOO!!!
Maki Fujioka: What an absolutely brutal match! These two threw everything at one another as the blood down Rio and Hannah’s faces is proof of it.
Asuka Kuramochi: Hannah was so close, she was so close to winning this match and could have won it but Rio is still standing----SOMEONE JUST SLID UNDER THE RING! SAIKO JUST SLID UNDER THE RING WITH HER TRIBUTARY SHIELD TROPHY! THE MOB PSYCHO WITH A RUNNING BIG BOOT!
Maki Fujioka: She can’t use the title match like that! She has to announce it beforehand! SAIKO now grabs Rio in an inverted headlock! PSYCHO IMPALER FROM SAIKO! She just hit Rio Kurokawa with a GTR.
SAIKO smiles as the crowd boo her. She grabs a hold of the JET National Championship and raises it high in the air along with her Tributary Shield trophy signalling her intention to challenge for the National Championship. SAIKO soon drops her championship down onto Rio’s chest and looks right at the camera.
SAIKO (w/o mic): Next month in Nagoya.
Rio Kurokawa is now being helped out by the young girls as SAIKO leaves the ring and up the ramp as the show goes to commercial.
----
“”We welcome you to Nagoya…. where the sun is always shining”
A footage of a famous Shachihoko statue on top of the iconic Himeji castle at dawn. The footage was fast-forwarded as we can see the sun rising up at the tip of Shachihoko’s tail. Then the footage transitioned to various wrestlers of JET in a closeup shot as the spotlight pointed at them.
“IT’S MY SHOWTIME!!!!”
Then we see a couple quick transitions between the aerial shots of Nagoya’s castles, Torii gates and steel factories with some of JET talent’s defining signature moves as the chorus to Airi Suzuki’s “Let The Show Begin” plays.
「LET THE SHOW BEGIN, The best show…
Let’s have some fun!
It’s a one-time of your life
Darling, darling, darling yeah!」
Then after those quick transitioning shots, we go to the Aichi Gymnasium arena where there is a dancer in silhouette. The camera closes up to her lips while the camera captures her mouthing the phrase.
“Let the show begin….”
The dancer hits a clap as the scene transitions to Nagoya Spotlight logo, with the date and place of this JET’s next show is going to be.
NAGOYA SPOTLIGHT - DECEMBER 27TH - Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium
----
Naomi Serizawa: Our next match is a single match for RISE GP contract with a fifteen minutes time limit. Please welcome, in the red corner, Ai Moe!
“Utakata Hanabi” by DAOKO feat. Kenshi Yonezu hits as Ai appears from the curtain. She turns the body around and strikes her pose before walking down the ramp and just strikes a pose to every photographer, looking as photogenic and charismatic as ever.
Asuka Kuramochi: This young woman right here is a true “zero to hero” story. She proves that we can go from nobody to become one of the brightest prospects in JET.
Maki Fujioka: She’s slowly rising up to the top, even though it’s just a slow progress. She’s working really hard until this point. And this match could elevate her name even higher if she comes out of victory.
Ai slides inside the ring and keeps the pose that way for the photographers to capture all the pictures. Then the music fades out for her opponent.
Naomi Serizawa: In the blue corner, please welcome Midori Miyamoto!
“Ashes” by Lynch hits as Midori appears from the curtain and holds her contract briefcase. She then stops at the entranceway and looks around the arena before crossing her hands while walking to the ramp. As the camera closes, she lets out a smirk full of confidence.
Maki Fujioka: Now this is truly a Hard Work vs. Pure Talent battle. Miyamoto-senshuu is just born with the entire talent in his arsenal. That briefcase solidify her name to be on top of the rank
Asuka Kuramochi: Now she has to defend her possession against her former Trios team partner. But it will be a difficult task for Ai because…. look at her. She’s just oozing confidence. She knows that she’s gonna win since this match was announced.
The two competitors are now leaning at their respective corners while Ai’s name is getting introduced first.
Naomi Serizawa: Now introducing… in the red corner…. from Ibaraki-ken, AIIIII MOOOOOEEEEEE!!!!
The crowd is throwing streamers of two different shades of blue as she goes to the center of the ring to strike her signature pose. She ends her pose with bowing down her body to the four sides of the ring before she retreats back to the corner.
Naomi Serizawa: And her opponent, in the blue corner…. from California, United States, MIYAMOTOOOOOO…… MIDOOOORRRRIIIII!!!!!!
Midori walks slowly to the center of the ring, bowing down her body before putting her fighting stance and hits a roundhouse kick in the air, ending with raising her briefcase up high. The camera pans on Ai who claps her hands and adores how cool Midori is. The official is taking care of the mess on the ring as Midori and Ai walk towards each other, doing a handshake while both of them shout “ONEGAISHIMASU~!” in unison.
(DING DING DING!)
Maki Fujioka: And here we go with our second of four singles match with something on the line. The opportunity to main event Cinderella Story 15 at Seibu Dome is on the line and both Ai and Midori have to put their friendship aside for this match. The crowd is split right down the middle here for this match.
Asuka Kuramochi: Their last two singles matches in the past two years have gone to time-limit draws. Ai Moe and Midori Miyamoto have less time for this match than they had for their two RISE GP encounters. Only twenty minutes this time to beat one another and both go right at it off the bat! Ai and Midori rush towards one another at full speed, both Midori and Ai are throwing elbows at one another in the center of the ring. What a way to start this match! Ai Moe is keeping up with a powerful striker like Midori but now ducks a shot from Midori, slipping behind and applying a waistlock! Standing switch from Midori and looks like the Hybrid Dragon is looking for an O’Connor Roll but Ai is able to hold onto the ropes and get Midori off her.
Maki Fujioka: Ai now immediately gets a hold of Midori’s wrists, LOVE IS A BATTLE--- NO Just at the last moment, Midori was able to escape the Kamigoye attempt. Midori has to back away as the crowd applaud the fast pace action, it seems that Ai is telling Midori how close she was to nailing that knee strike and Midori is acknowledging that. She knows that Ai Moe’s knee strike is a match winner. Both competitors get serious as they circle the ring, and Midori lands a low kick to the right leg of Ai Moe. The Love Queen responds with her own low kick to Midori’s leg. Both are nailling these light kicks early, who knows if the damage will have an impact later down the line. Ai with another kick to Midori and both are trading kicks, both have gone with the strategy of being strike heavy.
Asuka Kuramochi: Midori has been known for her strikes since her early days in JET but it’s a surprise to see Ai bring in a kick heavy offense to the match. Both competitors are still throwing light kicks to the leg at one another but Midori soon nails a fierce elbow to the face of Ai and attempts to Irish-whip Ai but the Love Queen is able to turn around just as she was being Irish-whipped to nail Midori with an elbow to the face. Midori responds with an elbow that has sent back staggering. Both are bringing a completely different style of wrestling then we were expecting but I think with the twenty minute time limit, they have to wrestle a more impactful style.
Maki Fujioka: Exactly and Midori is showing that with a big spinning back kick right to the chest of Ai Moe! Midori now with a bicycle kick but Ai has it blocked! She drills the back of her leg into the leg of Midori and goes for a roundhouse… Midori ducks and spins for her own roundhouse! Ai ducks but Midori keeps her rotation AND NAILS IT ON THE SECOND TRY! What a shot from Midori, Ai now collapses down to her knees as Midori rushes the ropes AND NAILS A SLIDING KNEE! A cover now by Midori!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOONNNNNNEEEE!! TWWWWWWOOOOO!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: Ai Moe kicks out and immediately rolls to the outside onto the floor. We have to take a look at that kick and knee strike cuz it was brutal.
(Replay of the sliding knee and roundhouse kick as both strikes are shown in slow motion to really get the impact on screen.)
Maki Fujioka: Midori is now on the apron and waiting for Ai Moe who is slowly getting up. Midori soon rushes at Ai for a PK but Ai blocks it! Ai now an elbow right to the leg of Midori, she quickly gets on the apron as well. Midori with a forearm but Ai Moe replies with one of her own. A second forearm from Midori and she replies with a third one along with a boot right to the face of Ai Moe! Midori now pulls Ai, she is looking to suplex her off the apron but Ai Moe is fighting it. She escapes the hold, both are fighting dangerously as any big move could be the end of them! Ai swings wildly but runs into the boot of Midori Miyamoto. The Hybrid Dragon pulls Ai in and THIS TIME SHE IS ABLE TO LAND A HUGE VERTICAL SUPLEX OFF THE APRON! BOTH AI AND MIDORI CRASHED FROM THE APRON ONTO THE FLOOR!
Asuka Kuramochi: Both seem to be in as referee Yuri Watanabe’s count is starting, the two competitors look out of it at the moment.
Yuri Watanabe: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE
Asuka Kuramochi: Both competitors have yet to move a muscle as they must be both in pain from that. It was a dangerous move and Midori seems just as out of it as Ai is.
Yuri Watanabe: SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT!
Asuka Kuramochi: The first signs of life as Midori has her fist up in the air and is pushing herself to get up, it seems like Ai Moe is right behind her as she’s also getting up. Both competitors right in front of each other’s faces as Yuri continues to count.
Yuri Watanabe: NINE! TEN! ELEVEN!
Maki Fujioka: Midori is the first up to her feet as she nails Ai with a forearm and Ai responds with her own! Both are still wanting to throw strikes at one another, Midori switches up and goes back to the kicks. Another shot from the RISE GP Winner and Ai Moe responds with her own. Everything Midori has thrown, Ai Moe has given back with just as much force! The count is reaching fifteen as both competitors slide back into the ring with time to spare. The action isn’t slowing down as Midori Irish-whips Ai into the corner and rushes in. Midori soon rushes into the boot of Ai Moe as she was able to get it up just in time. Midori is staggering back as Ai Moe quickly gets onto the middle turnbuckle, she has Midori where she wants her and LEAPS FOR A JUMPING DDT AND CONNECTS! AI MOE WITH THE COVER.
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!! TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!! THHHHHREEEEEEEEEE!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: Midori kicked out as Ai Moe is on the offensive, if she can keep this up, victory could definitely belong to her along with that RISE GP Title Match contract. Ai Moe is thinking now, she’s thinking about what she has to do next and gets an idea. Ai Moe now has Midori up to her feet and immediately has her in a fireman’s carry but Midori is fighting out of it. The Hybrid Dragon is landing some well placed back elbows into the head of the Top Kawaii Machine and is able to escape the hold. Both Ai and Midori are face to face as they continue to throw forearms at one another, the stiff striking continues as Ai Moe goes low and nails a dropkick right to the right leg of Midori.
Maki Fujioka: Miyamoto is holding her leg in pain as Moe lands a second well-placed dropkick to the right leg of Midori. The Love Queen of JET now rushes the ropes BUT CHARGES RIGHT INTO A KNEE LIFT FROM MIDORI! Ai got nailed by that knee as it hit her right in the chin! MIdori now lifts up Ai Moe and immediately pulls her in for a BIG SNAP BRAINBUSTER! Cover by Midori!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!! THRRRRREEEEEE----
Asuka Kuramochi: Ai Moe kicks out right at the end as the referee wants to check on her if she is doing okay. Midori goes back to her corner and finally she gets to relax for a moment. This match has been high speed action right from the start as both competitors have gone at it 100% right from the start. It seems that Ai Moe is good to go but she’s struggling to get to her feet at the moment. Her neck must be in pain from that brainbuster.
Maki Fujioka: It definitely has to be in pain, she took all of that brainbuster. Midori now kicks to the chest of Ai Moe, a second one as Ai Moe is on her knees while taking these strikes. A third kick from Midori as Ai is still taking all of these. She is wanting to fight and this is incredible resilience from the former Academy Champion. Midori goes back to her corner and charges for a sliding knee--- Ai Moe is able to dodge with no problem by rolling out of the way and catching Midori with a backslide, a cover from Moe!
Yuri Watanabe: ONNNNNNNNNEEEEEE!! TWWWWWOOOOOO!!! THHHHHRRREEEE
Asuka Kuramochi: Midori kicked out just at the right moment, the crowd might have come unglued if Midori lost her title match opportunity to a backslide. Both women are up to their feet and immediately are trading shots again, Midori with a stiff forearm, a second one and a third for good measure! Ai Moe is staggering just a bit but steps up for a Thrust Kick, Midori is able to sidestep out of the way to dodge the superkick and A HUGE SLAP FROM MIDORI! A SECOND ONE as you could just hear the palm of Midori’s hand connect with Ai’s cheek from anywhere in this building, we know what’s next… After the two slaps, Midori pulls back for a SHOTEI---AI MOE NAILS HER WITH SLAP TO MIDORI’S FACE AS A COUNTER! The lightning quick action continues as Ai with her own barrage of strikes! Moe landed multiple quick strikes in succession and completed the Ai Blitz with the Enzuigiri! Midori is stunned as Ai Moe pulls Midori in and nails a NORTHERN LIGHTS SUPLEX! Cover by Ai Moe.
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNEEEEEEE!!! TTTTWWWWWWWOOOOOO!! THRRRRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEE----
Maki Fujioka: Midori kicks out as she survived both the Ai Blitz and a Northern Lights, Ai Moe is looking a bit frustrated, and bangs her hand on the ground. Moe can’t get angry right now she has to focus and look to seal a win as soon as she can. She looks at the downed Midori and there gets a hold of both of her wrists. She wants to end it here with Love Is A Battlefield. If she can nail Kamigoye, the match has to be over.
Asuka Kuramochi: You’re right and I think Ai Moe wants to end this match now. Midori is on her knees as Ai goes for it! LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD---
Maki Fujioka: No! MIDORI IS ABLE IS ABLE TO COUNTER WITH A EUROPEAN CLUTCH! MIDORI WITH THE PIN!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!! TTTTHHHHHHHRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!
Maki Fujioka: No, Ai Moe kicked out right at the end and is able to keep this match. This is the second time the match almost ended by a flash pin attempt, Midori was so close to doing just that. Midori up to her feet and so is Ai Moe but Ai Moe is nailed with a kick right to her chest from Midori. Moe swings wildly but Midori slips behind and gets a hold of Ai’s waist… A RELEASE GERMAN SUPLEX FROM MIDORI--- AI MOE IS BACK UP?! HOW IS SHE UP?!
Asuka Kuramochi: Ai Moe has blown away any expectations that might have been set for her going into this match. She goes and rushes towards Midori but The Hydrid Dragon with a slap right to the face of Ai Moe, a second slap from Midori as she pulls back for the SHOTEI---- A second time Ai Moe is able to counter the BURNING combination and this time with an elbow that has Midori staggering back BUT MIDORI STILL NAILS THE SHOTEI! SHE HIT THE SHOTEI BUT MIDORI ISN’T FINISHED! She immediately gets Ai Moe up AND NAILS HER WITH A PHANTOM NIGHT! A SMALL PACKAGE DRIVER FROM MIDORI MIYAMOTO!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!! TWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! THHHHHHHHHHHHHHHHRREEEEEEEEE!!!
Maki Fujioka: Ai Moe kicked out, she’s still in this contest as Midori is looking a bit frustrated. Both have competed at such an intense speed that we should be expecting a winner soon. Both have to be reaching their breaking points sooner or later, Midori is thinking on what to do next.
Asuka Kuramochi: It has to be something big and daring, she needs to really figure out what is something that can get her the win and go for it. Midori looks right towards the top rope and sees that as her opportunity, she seems a bit sluggish in her movement, maybe all of the big blows are finally getting to her but either way, the RISE GP Winner makes her way over to the top rope. She’s waiting for Ai Moe to get up. The Kawaii Machine is slow to get up and holding her neck in pain, she’s standing up as MIDORI LEAPS FOR A MISSILE FRONT DROPKICK!!! OH MY GOD AI MOE CAUGHT MIDORI OUT OF THE AIR! SHE CAUGHT MIDORI OUT OF THE AIR WITH A SIT OUT POWERBOMB! OH MY GOODNESS THAT WAS INCREDIBLE!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOONNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!! THHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!!----
Asuka Kuramochi: MIDORI IS STILL IN THIS MATCH AND AI MOE HAS TO BE THINKING WHAT SHE NEEDS TO DO TO PUT DOWN MIDORI! Ai is shaking her head as she collects her thoughts, she needs to focus because she could just be one move from putting Midori and she knows what that move might be. Ai Moe now gets a hold of both of Midori’s wrist. There is only one move that she has left in her arsenal that can get a win and it’s “Love Is A Battlefield”. If she nails the Kamigoye, she might be able to win it…. LOVE IS A BATTLEFIELD----
Maki Fujioka: NO MIDORI WITH AN INSANE COUNTER! SHE JUST JUMPED AND NAILED A JUMPING DOUBLE FOOTSTOMP! SHE JUST LEAPED AND NAILED IT OUT OF NOWHERE! AI MOE IS DOWN AND MIDORI SEES THIS AS HER, SHE QUICKLY GETS AI MOE! She has a waistlock on her friend, O’Conner Roll AND THE DEADLIFT GERMAN SUPLEX! MIDORI NAILED AI MOE WITH A HUGE CATALYST SHIFT! SHE HAS THE BRIDGE!
Yuri Watanabe: ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!! THHHHHHHRRRRRREEEEEE!!!
(DING DING DING!)
“Ashes” plays one more as Midori lets go of her German Suplex bridge and slowly gets up. The referee gives Midori her own briefcase as she raises Midori’s arm as her other arm is also raising while holding her briefcase!
Naomi Serizawa: YOUR WINNER AND STILL HOLDER OF THE RISE GRAND PRIX TITLE MATCH CONTRACT! MMMMIYYYYYYAAAAAMOOOOOTTTOOO MIDORI!!!
Maki Fujioka: What an incredible match!
Asuka Kuramochi: Indeed. They both seem to know each other and the chemistry between them is showing.
Maki Fujioka: With a match like this, they pretty much don’t care who’s ended up winning. They will deliver a good competitive match and as everyone can see, they deliver it very well!
Asuka Kuramochi: And in the end, Miyamoto is able to retain her guaranteed contract as she will move on to the bigger gameplan in mind.
Ai slowly gets up and approaches Midori who is still celebrating. She turns Midori around to face her and offers her a handshake, which Midori happily accepts. They hug it out for a moment as Ai pulls away, she raises Midori’s hand once again to celebrate it together. Ai then leaves Midori on her own to get her moment as we go to another intermission.
(Intermission)
("Roundtable Rival" by Lindsey Stirling plays as Bethany Sharpe and Vivina Wolfe walk out looking serious instead of their usual jovial selves. The two lifelong fans nodded to each other and made their way to the ring.)
Maki Fujioka: I have to be honest - Wolfegang Symphony without the tag belts have become something of a rarity in JET. They now have a chance to prove that they are the dominant team in JET!
Asuka Kuramochi: They’ve had a dominant run but maybe it’s time for a new era of tag teams. Only they can decide if we move on from their golden age.
(Sharpe and Wolfe pose on the apron and climb into the ring. “The Phoenix” by Fallout Boy plays as Megan Enders and Talia Areano walk out with their JET Tag Team Championships. They took their time walking down the ramp as they eyes their opponents who were glaring daggers in their direction.)
Maki Fujioka: There’s no love lost between these two teams. They have a chance to prove once and for all that their win was no fluke.
Asuka Kuramochi: As far as Wolfegang Symphony’s concerned, the tag belts still belong to them!
(The champs climb into the ring and hand their belts to the ref as announcer Naomi Serizawa enters the ring.)
Naomi Serizawa: The following is a tag match set at a twenty-minute tag match scheduled for one fall and it is for the JET Tag Team Titles! First, the challengers! Weighing at a combined weight of 272 lbs! Vivana Wolfe! Bethany Sharpe! Wolfegang Symphony!!
(Bethany and Vivina pose for the crowd as they receive mixed reactions.)
Namoi Serizawa: Their opponents! At a combined weight of 252 lbs! They are your JET Tag Team Champions...Talia Areano and Megan Enders!!!
(Talia and Megan pose for the crowd before returning to their corner.)
Maki Fujioka: It looks like Talia Areano will be making herself the legal woman for this contest as well as Bethany Sharpe of Wolfegang Symphony!
(DING! DING! DING!)
Maki Fujioka: Here we go as the JET Tag Team Championship is on the line! Both Talia and Bethany are wasting no time going in for a collar and elbow tie up in the center of the ring! These two teams have already clashed before, so there’s some form of familiarity as Talia powers through the collar and elbow tie up and into a side headlock! Bethany is quick to slip through it and into an immediate hammer lock on Areano! Areano is fighting it as Bethany looks to navigate her over to her team’s corner! Talia manages to land an elbow to the jaw of Bethany! Another elbow! She breaks out of the hammer lock and rolls through as both competitors race to their feet! They’re off to the races! Talia drops Bethany with a roundhouse kick!
Asuka Kuramochi:Talia immediately rushes into the ropes as Bethany scrambles back to her feet! She’s up as Talia comes off the ropes for a running crossoday! Nobody’s home as Bethany evades it! It’s Bethany hitting the ropes as she comes back while Talia turns around! Bethany hits a front dropkick, knocking Talia to the outside! Bethany starts taunting Megan Enders to enter the ring, but Talia is already back in! She’s telling Vivina to stay where she is and that she’s got this covered! Talia continues her assault by charging at Bethany! She sidesteps her as she hits the ropes! She slides under the clothesline, rebounds and connects with a spear!
Maki Fujioka: Talia isn’t finished as she lays into Bethany! She grabs her and slowly drags her up…bulldog! She attempts to mount her, but Bethany is quick to use her legs to wrap around the head of Talia! Talia has no choice but to disengage and avoid being caught in a hold herself, allowing Bethany to rush back to her feet! Talia swings! Bethany blocks and counters with a spin kick followed by an uppercut!! Talia’s looking dazed! Kick to the gut/DDT combination by Areano to finish things off!
Asuka Kuramochi: To say the least! Bethany grabs Talia and navigates her over to Wolfegang Symphony’s corner. Bethany with the tag to Vivina Wolfe! She quickly enters the ring as both she and Bethany grab Talia…ENCORE!! The one-handed bulldog by Sharpe onto Wolfe’s knee, followed by a knee drop was pulled with perfection! Vivina makes the cover!
Hana Oikawa: OOOOONE!!!!!!
TWOOOO!!!!!!!!
Maki Fujioka: Talia manages to kick out of it as Megan was close to getting in there to stop the count! Wolfe grabs Talia and slowly starts dragging her up! Talia retaliates with an elbow into the side of Vivina’s skull! Another elbow! Talia slips off and catches Vivina from behind with a bulldog!! No! Vivina slips under it! BIG BOOT TO THE BACK OF THE HEAD! Talia face plants on the mat, and Vivina goes for a cover!
Hana Oikawa: OOOONEEEE!
TWOOOOO!
Asuka Kuramochi: Talia kicks out! A frustrated Vivina lifts her up…and drives a knee straight into the mid-section! She grabs the head of Talia and drives a knee into the skull! Another knee! Vivina wants nothing more than to simply punish her opponent and that’s what she’s doing! Talia Areano is in a bad way right now! Megan Enders is reaching out for a tag, but I don’t see it coming any time soon, even if Talia were willing to do so! Vivina now with a snapmare takedown and swings a brutal kick into the spine of Talia!! Another kick! Another! She pulls Talia right back up! Looking for a scoop brainbuster!! Talia’s fighting it! She throws a forearm into the jaw of t!
Maki Fujioka: And another forearm connects! She goes for a whip, but Vivina reverses and sends Talia into a corner away from Megan, who’s clutching the tag rope with concern in her eyes. Vivina tags Bethany in who leaps over the ropes and goes charging! SURPRISE ATTACK TO MEGAN AS THE IMPACT OF A RUNNING FOREARM SENDS HER FLYING OFF THE APRON! Talia charges at her! Bethany ducks the clothesline and uses the ropes as she guides Areano’s arm for a running springboard arm drag! She pulls Talia up, perhaps looking to put her away! BACK SUPLEX INTO A SPIN-OUT POWERBOMB!! THAT’S THE OPENING NUMBER! BETHANY HAS HER IN A PIN!
Hana Oikawa: OOONNEEEEEE!!!.
Asuka Kuramochi: Talia kicks out! A frustrated Bethany decides to tag in Vivina!! Vivina mounts Talia and lays into her with a flurry of shots! Satisfied, she tags Bethany back in who follows up with several vicious stomps to the chest! They see Megan climbing to the apron! STEREO FRONT DROPKICKS AND MEGAN IS KNOCKED OFF THE APRON AGAIN!! She has Vivina over her shoulders as she picks up Bethany Sharpe...WOW!! SHE HAS SHARPE ON TOP OF WOLFE! MEGAN ENDERS HAS WOLFEGANG SYMPHONY, THE FORMER TAG CHAMPIONS OVER HER SHOULDERS! DOUBLE STACKED SAMOAN DROP!!
Maki Fujioka: The audience is in awe by what they just witnessed! Vivina rolls out to the apron in pain, as a barely conscious Bethany remains the legal woman for her team in this match! This doesn’t seem to affect Enders who deadlifts Sharpe into a powerbomb position! This could be over!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: But Bethany slides off from her grasp! Belly-to-back suplex! Bethany tags in her partner who helps get Megan back on her feet! Vivina hits the ropes as Bethany stands behind Enders...SHATTERED NOTE NO. 2!!! Wolfe with the big boot, knocking Megan into Sharpe’s legsweep! Vivina covers!

Bethany nodded and went out to the apron to be tagged back in. Wolfe gets Enders to her feet and slowly lifts her into an electric chair position. Bethany climbs up the nearest turnbuckle and perches herself up high...we’re about to witness a Massacre in B Major!
Asuka Kuramochi: WAIT!!! TALIA JUST POPPED UP FROM NOWHERE AND PUSHED BETHANY OFF THE TOP ROPE TO THE OUTSIDE!! Megan quickly comes to and drops down from Vivina and TOSSES HER OUT OF THE RING! Naomi Serizawa: Your winners by pinfall and still your JET Tag Team Champions! Megan Enders and Talia Areano!
Maki Fujioka: Alleged flukes no longer, Areano and Enders have proven that they’re the superior team!
Asuka Kuramochi: They proved that they were more than just a ragtag team. In a world once ruled by Wolfegang Symphony, these women have proven that there’s more than one dominant team in- wait! What are they doing here!?
Maki Fujioka: Huh!? It’s Julia Zhang and Q! They have kendo sticks in their hands! Look out!
(Two members of DESPERADOS, Julia Zhang and Q race down the ramp as the champs were celebrating with their backs turned. Julia and Q slide into the ring and waste no time attacking the tag champs. Areano and Enders were too exhausted from their match to properly defend themselves!)
Asuka Kuramochi: The champs are too helpless to fight back! This was Julia Zhang’s big plan, to beat down the JET Tag Champs and declare something. Two of DESPERADOS’ finest came out to send a message: it’s their turn next!
The camera lingers on Julia and Q as they stand above Megan and Talia with the tag titles raised in the air. The camera soon cuts from the ringside area to a video package for the next match of the evening.
---
(Soon Uverworld’s “Touch Off” begins to play as the crowd cheers. Out from the back arrives Sora Todoh wearing a white and blue attire, over it is a long blue entrance jacket. The Shooting Star seems to shake off any nervousness as she makes her way down the ramp towards the ring.)
Naomi Serizawa: INTRODUCING FIRST! SHE IS THE CHALLENGER!! FROM OKAYAMA, JAPAN… SHE IS THE SHOOTING STAR OF JET! TTTTOOOOOODDDDOOOHHHH SSSOOOORRAAAA!!!
Maki Fujioka: Never has one wrestler felt so much pressure in this moment, not only is Sora challenging for the JET World Championship for the first time in her life but this will be her first time being a challenger for a championship period. She looked to challenge for the JET World Championship as she believed that she was ready for the challenge after this past RISE Grand Prix saw her grow as a competitor.
Asuka Kuramochi: As if the pressure isn’t there already for Sora, she will also be the first JET competitor born in the 21st century to challenge for the most prestigious championship in women’s wrestling. Even with all of this pressure for her, Sora still seems like she can go and do the impossible. She feels like she can dethrone the JET World Champion.
Sora enters the ring as “Spitfire” by Prodigy plays as JUNKO makes her way out from the back wearing a black and white attire along with a black entrance robe. The JET World Championship is around her waist. The crowd shows their hate for her by booing loudly but as usual, she doesn’t care.
Naomi Serizawa: AND HER OPPONENT! FROM NERIMA, TOKYO, JAPAN! SHE IS THE 30TH AND DEFENDING JET WORLD CHAMPION! THE TRAGIC HEART!!! JUUUUUUNNNNNKKOOOOOOO!!!!!
Maki Fujioka: And there she is! JET’s biggest enemy and reigning JET World Champion, JUNKO. This woman has made sure that every single soul that has ever been involved with JET hates her.
(DING DING DING!)
Maki Fujioka: And it is now time for the semi-main of Rise Up New Generation. The first defense for the reigning JET World Champion versus a first time title challenger. And the crowd is clearly behind Sora Todoh. You have to believe that everyone in this building and every JET fan around the world is cheering for Sora tonight.
Crowd: SORA! SORA! SORA! SORA
Asuka Kuramochi: And both competitors circle the ring, we have our first lock-up of the match. Traditional collar-and-elbow tie up by JUNKO and Sora, the JET World Champion is able to push Sora back into the ropes and referee Yuri Watanabe has to intervene. She is forcing JUNKO to break the hold but it seems the JET World Champion doesn’t want to break it. Yuri is forcefully pulling JUNKO off Sora and gets in her face, Yuri is our senior official and has seen everything that DESPERADOS can do and will do for a win, so she is making sure to put her foot down immediately. JUNKO just seems to not care about the referee’s warning and her attention turns immediately to Sora--- WHO DRILLS THE JET WORLD CHAMPION WITH A SUPERKICK! WHAT A KICK FROM SORA AS JUNKO IS DAZED AND SPUN AROUND! BRIDGING GERMAN SUPLEX FROM SORA!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOO!!!
Maki Fujioka: JUNKO kicked out but what a start to this match! Sora immediately nailed two big shots and we’ve only just started this World Title bout! She has JUNKO up to her feet and is looking for a Shin-Ryu Suplex, Sora only has one of the hands trapped but JUNKO is able to escape and immediately rolls out of the ring. I don’t think she was expecting Sora to immediately go on the offensive like this. The JET World Champion is holding her neck in pain meanwhile Sora runs up the turnbuckle with no problem AND LEAPS!! CROSSBODY FROM SORA TO OUTSIDE AND SHE LANDS ON TO THE JET WORLD CHAMPION! WHAT A START FROM SORA!
Asuka Kuramochi: She has completely upped the tempo right off the bat and has taken the fight to JUNKO. Sora now picks up JUNKO and immediately Irish-whips her into the steel barricade. JUNKO is holding her back in pain as Sora rushes for a dropkick but the JET World Champion gets out of the at the last second and Sora crashes into the steel! Her right leg hits hard against the steel and the JUNKO sees this chance to attack and immediately targets the leg. A low drop kick from the JET World Champion directly to the right leg of Sora! Referee Yuri Watanabe already has her count up to five as she tells both of them to bring the action back into the ring but JUNKO doesn’t seem to care as she opens the steel barricade gate and drags Sora towards the gate. I don’t like what JUNKO has in mind as she makes sure that Sora can’t move… JUNKO JUST SLAMMED THE BARRICADE GATE DOOR RIGHT INTO THE RIGHT LEG OF SORA TODOH! ONE MORE TIME AS SORA IS HOLDING HER LEG IN PAIN! JUNKO with her typical grin as she seems proud about the damage she just caused, and gladly enters the ring. Meanwhile Sora is struggling to get back up on both legs. Yuri Watanabe is still keeping her count going and has reached the count of 12.
Yuri Watanabe: TWELVE! THIRTEEN! FOURTEEN
Maki Fujioka: Sora is finally up but she seems to be limping, she has to be in pain right now. Sora is able to make it into the ring and immediately JUNKO stomps away at her right leg! The JET World Champion has Sora up and Irish-whips her but it’s countered by the challenger who nails a fierce forearm right into the side of JUNKO’s head. The champion is forced a bit back but replies by going low and nailing a low dropkick to the right leg of the challenger. This has Sora down on her knees as JUNKO soon nails another dropkick right to the face of her challenger! Now a cover by the JET World Champion.
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNEEEE!!! TWWOOO---
Asuka Kuramochi: Sora kicks out but JUNKO immediately goes back to the right leg and flips Sora over. The JET World Champion has a single leg Boston crab applied right in the center of the ring. The crowd here in Sendai are cheering Sora on, even if her chances of winning were low going into this match this crowd still wants her to win no matter what. Sora is reaching and crawling towards the rope… but JUNKO is able to pull her back and transitions into a kneebar! Sora Todoh is right now screaming in pain! JUNKO is wrestling a bit differently than usual, maybe she picked up new things when she skipped out on the RISE Grand Prix this year.
Maki Fujioka: Who knows for sure but all I know is that Sora Todoh is still fighting to reach the ropes… And she’s dragging herself towards the rope while still being trapped in the kneebar! SORA GOT IT! She got the rope break and JUNKO is being told to break the hold from Yuri Watanabe.
Yuri Watanabe: JUNKO! BREAK THE HOLD! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIV--
Maki Fujioka: And just at the last moment, the JET World Champion breaks the submission hold she has on Sora Todoh. Finally Sora is finally but again she is clutching her leg in pain, Yuri Watanabe is forcing JUNKO back so that she can check on Sora and it seems Todoh is willing to still go on despite the pain. With the assist of the ropes, Sora is able to get to her feet. JUNKO rushes at Sora but she’s pushed back with a back elbow right to the jaw. Sora with a forearm and a second one, despite the pain she must be feeling in her right leg, she is still going strong. JUNKO now with a kick to the right leg of Sora and the challenger fires another forearm! Another exchange of strikes by champion and challenger as JUNKO is able to get the advantage! JUNKO now Irish-whips Sora but it’s reversed by the challenger. SORA CATCHES JUNKO WITH A BIG LEG LARIAT! JUNKO is down as Sora goes for a cover!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNEEE!! TWWO--!!
Asuka Kuramochi: JUNKO kicks out androlls away from Sora and towards the apron. Sora tries to get her back in the ring but Rei Kagura… What the hell is she doing?! She gets nailed with a forearm and forced off the apron by that shot! That gives JUNKO the chance to recover and stand on the apron. Sora's attention turns to the JET World Champion and she gets nailed with a forearm from JUNKO, the champion goes for a shoulder thrust through the middle rope but Sora sidestep and nails a kick to the chest of her opponent! Another kick from the challenger before she steps back and nails a bicycle kick right to the side of JUNKO’s face! JUNKO is out cold as she tumbles down to the floor.
Maki Fujioka: This could be a huge chance for Sora to get the advantage as she is still shaking some feelings into her right leg. JUNKO is up to her feet and Sora rushes the ropes, she’s charging at the direction of JET World Champion! SORA WITH A SUICIDE DIVE TO THE OUTSIDE!!! NO SHE DIDN’T HIT JUNKO! REI KAGURA PUSHED JUNKO OUT OF THE WAY AND TOOK THE HIT!
(Replays of Sora’s dive are shown and just as she leaped through the ropes, Rei Kagura was able to push JUNKO out of the way.)
Asuka Kuramochi: Sora just noticed that she didn’t get her intended target and JUNKO immediately attacks with a ROUNDHOUSE KICK!! JUNKO pulls Sora and gets her up in the air. JUNKO HITS A BRUTAL USURPER AND SORA’S NECK JUST LANDED BRUTALLY ONTO THE RINGSIDE FLOOR! She just took all of that Vertical Spike Brainbuster and Sora might be out. The smug look on JUNKO’s face tells the whole story as she seems proud of the damage. JUNKO reenters the ring and poses, I wouldn’t be surprised if she thinks that she has won this match already. Meanwhile Yuri Watanabe is starting her 20 count.
Yuri Watanabe: ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR! FIVE
Asuka Kuramochi: Sora hasn’t moved at all yet. She might actually be out, as the crowd has gone dead silent.
Yuri Watanabe: SIX! SEVEN! EIGHT! NINE! TEN!
Maki Fujioka: Sora is finally showing signs of life but she is still not fully there. She might need to hurry up as the count has reached fifteen now.
Yuri Watanabe: SIXTEEN! SEVENTEEN EIGHTEEN!
Maki Fujioka: Sora is just getting up to her feet and immediately slides back into the ring! Sora nearly got counted but JUNKO who seems absolutely furious charges right at Sora and nails her with a forearm! The challenger responds with her own shot and both are starting to trade shots. JUNKO with an elbow shot, a second and third one from the JET World Champion, Sora hasn’t been able to fire back as JUNKO Irish-whips Sora but instead it’s reversed by the challenger and the champion is sent into the corner! Sora with a running splash and it connects, Sora rushes to the opposite corner before rushing but this time Todoh runs into the boot of the JET World Champion. JUNKO with a rope assisted enzuigiri that has Sora stunned, she now pulls her and NAILS HER WITH A DARK EDGE! Sora’s face collided right into the middle turnbuckle! JUNKO pulls Sora out of the corner and goes for a cover!
Yuri Watanabe: ONEEEEE! TWWWOOOOO!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: Sora kicks out and immediately JUNKO picks her up onto her shoulder! She probably wants to end it right now and is looking for Dark Impulse but Sora fights out of it. She is shaking and is able to get off the shoulders of the JET World Champion. Champion and Challenger are face to face and again both begin to exchange elbows with Sora fighting fiercely! The Shooting Star with a couple of unanswered shots to the JET World Champion but JUNKO responds by kicking the hurt right leg, she has found her answer to Sora’s offense and it’s to go back to the leg. Sora is holding her right leg in pain as JUNKO swings wildly but Sora ducks!
Maki Fujioka: The challenger ducks and nails a step up enzuigiri, the champion is dazed as Sora now immediately rushes the ropes but JUNKO is able to put a stop to that with a low sweeping kick to Sora’s right leg! The challenger is down and seated as the JET World Champion now runs the rope herself and NAILS SORA WITH A DARKNESS SMASH! The brutal sliding elbow connects from JUNKO as she goes for the cover!
Yuri Watanabe: OOONNNNEEE!!! TWWWWOOOO!!! THREEEE---
Asuka Kuramochi: Sora kicks out, she is still in this match as it seems JUNKO is not happy at all. She goes back to attacking the leg and applies an ankle hold on the same right leg. Sora is screaming in pain as she tries to reach for the ropes but is stuck in the middle of the ring with nowhere to go. She has to be feeling immense pain right now as she is trying her best to get to the rope. The crowd is cheering Sora to not quit and she is trying to not quit. WAIT... SORA ROLLS THROUGH AND HAS JUNKO IN THE LEG ROLL CLUTCH!
Yuri Watanabe: OONNNNNEEE!!! TWWWWOOOO!!
Maki Fujioka: JUNKO kicks out and immediately the champion is on her feet. Sora on her knees and she is hit with a roundhouse kick! JUNKO takes a step back… SHADOW FLASH---NO SORA IS ABLE TO DUCK THE KICK AND ROLL UP JUNKO!
Yuri Watanabe: OONNNNNEEEE!!! TWWWWOOOOO!!! THREEEEEE!!!
Maki Fujioka: JUNKO kicked out at the last second as both champion and challenger are quickly on their feet! Sora now goes for a Last Surprise but JUNKO has it scouted and counters it getting a hold of Sora’s waist! A back elbow by the challenger and she’s free from the clutches of JUNKO. Sora winds back her right arm and nails a chop as if she was throwing a fastball! The sound of the chop could be heard around the venue and the JET World Champion is pushed back! JUNKO swings wildly but Sora is able to duck and get behind! A waistlock from the challenger and a German Suplex! JUNKO lands her on her neck and on her knees. Sora is in control as she steps back and rushes in! SORA WITH GREASED LIGHTNING! SHE NAILED THE SHINING WIZARD AND GOES FOR THE COVER!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOONNNNNEEEE!! TWWWWWOOOOO!!! THREEEEEE---
Asuka Kuramochi: JUNKO kicked out! The JET World Champion is still in this match and the challenger is fired up! She sees this has her chance to win and waits to the nearby corner, she is waiting for the JUNKO to get up to her feet! Sora rushes in for a Last Surprise, no JUNKO ducked the slingblade attempt and has a hold of Sora! Darkness Edg--- NO! Sora escapes with some well put shots to the side of JUNKO’s head! JUNKO has to let go but immediately Irish-whips Sora into the corner. JUNKO now with a running wheel kick to the challenger, that had the challenger almost completely out of the ring but instead Sora is down to a seated position against the bottom turnbuckle. JET World Champion isn’t done as she rushes to the opposite corner and back for a Shadow Dance! THE RUNNING KNEES CONNECT AS JUNKO PULLS SORA OUT OF THE CORNER AND GOES FOR A COVER.
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!! THHHHHHREEEEEEE----
Maki Fujioka: Sora kicked out! She’s still in this as the crowd exploded into cheers when they saw her shoulder go up! She has really proven herself tonight, she wants to become JET World Champion and I think everyone in this venue and watching this show from home wants the same. What a moment it would be for her to win, I know that Stephanie Matsuda would be proud of her if she can do it. Meanwhile it seems that the JET World Champion is furious, she seems to be accusing Yuri Watanabe of slow counting and getting into an argument with Yuri.
Asuka Kuramochi: I get that she and Yuri Watanabe had a moment early in that match but
she can’t just accuse our senior official of slow counting. JUNKO’s attention soon turns to Sora and looks like she has enough of Sora. The JET World Champion has her up to her feet and onto her shoulders. JUNKO is trying for a Dark Impulse but Sora is fighting! She is fighting and elbowing the JET World Champion to escape the fireman’s carry! Sora slips behind and goes for a Crucifix Driver! SHE HIT IT--- NO WAY! JUNKO FLIP OUT OF IT!? HOW THE HELL DID SHE JUST DO THAT! SORA IS KNEELING NOW AND JUNKO WITH A BUZZSAW KICK RIGHT TO THE SIDE OF SORA’S HEAD!
(A replay of JUNKO flipping out of the Crucifix Driver and immediately nailing Sora with Buzzsaw Kick is shown.)
Maki Fujioka: Incredible! That is simply amazing from JUNKO, we might go after her for underhanded tactics but she is just as athletically gifted as anyone else who has signed with JET. Sora seems out of now as JUNKO takes a step back! SHADOW FLASH FROM THE JET WORLD CHAMPION! That has to be it, is Sora’s valiant performance going to end here?!
Yuri Watanabe: ONNNNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!! TTTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!! THRRRRRREEEEEEEE!!!!
(The fans explode in cheer as Sora’s shoulder raises up from the ground!)
Asuka Kuramochi: SORA KICKED OUT!! She kicked out and the crowd has reached new levels of excitement! The face on JUNKO’s face tells the whole story! Sora just kicked out of a Shadow Flash, something that no one in this building or watching this match would have expected out of her tonight. And again JUNKO is accusing the referee of slow counting! JUNKO is probably the most socked in this building, she was expecting an easy defense but yet Sora Todoh has become an incredible obstacle for the JET World Champion. You can see anger just building on JUNKO’s face. She looks down at Sora who seems out of it at the moment. JUNKO is signalling for the end and immediately picks Sora up, onto her shoulders.
Maki Fujioka: If she kicked out of a Shadow Flash, I think the JET World Champion believes that Sora won’t kick out of a Dark Impulse. Sora seems to not be moving at all and JUNKO looks right at the camera signalling the end. JUNKO WITH A DARK--- NO SORA COUNTERS AT THE LAST SECOND WITH A CANADIAN DESTROYER! SHE JUST FLIPPED HERSELF INTO THE RIGHT POSITION WHILE ON JUNKO’S SHOULDERS AND NAILED THE JET WORLD CHAMPION WITH CANADIAN DESTROYER!! The crowd has exploded in cheers and Sora isn’t done! They might have just seen another great feat of athleticism from the challenger this time!
(Replay of Sora’s Dark Impulse counter and nailing JUNKO with a Canadian Destroyer in one smooth sequence.)
Asuka Kuramochi: And Sora isn’t done! She isn’t done at all as she immediately gets JUNKO up to her and has the arms hooked from behind! There is no fight back from the JET World Champion! SORA WITH A SHIN-RYU SUPLEX! The Two-Step Bridging Dragon Suplex connects and Yuri goes for the cover.
Yuri Watanabe: ONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!! THHHHHHHRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE----
Maki Fujioka: The match isn’t over! The JET World Champion just kicked out, she was able to get her hand up right before the three count. The crowd here in Sendai is just as shocked as Sora, she almost had it. The Shooting Star was so close, just a millisecond away from becoming JET World Champion. She would have created history in her own way and made everyone in JET jump in joy as well but JUNKO is still in this match and this incredible JET World Championship match is still going.
Asuka Kuramochi: She has to think of what to do and Sora’s eyes go right towards the top rope. I think she has a plan right now and immediately drags JUNKO towards the corner. Sora is gonna look for a Sky Twister and signals for it towards the audience. JUNKO seems completely out of it as she heads out of the ring and climbs up to the top rope. She is perfectly set for a Sky Twister---What the hell? Is that… That’s Rei Kagura and she’s on the apron. She’s distracting the referee by turning Yuri around and having all of her attention go to her. Sora also seems to be distracted by it as she is yelling at Rei Kagura to get off.
Maki Fujioka: JESSICA ROSE JUST JUMPED THE BARRICADE! Jessica Rose just jumped over the barricade and has a kendo stick in hand! The young girls try to stop Rose but all of them get a shot from that kendo stick for good measures! JESSICA JUST DECKED SORA IN THE FACE WITH THE KENDO STICK! DESPERADOS really pulled out all the stops to have JUNKO win. And poor Sora has no allies at ringside right now and looks out of it as she collapses down from the top rope.. Speaking of that witch JUNKO, she seems to finally regained some consciousness, she sees what her stablemates just did and has that smug smile on her face.
Asuka Kuramochi: Of course she has that smile! She must have planned this all along just in case Sora didn’t go down easily. JUNKO is still in pain but picks up Sora in a fireman’s carry. The challenger is showing no signs of life right now as JUNKO just hit Sora with Dark Impulse! JUNKO with the cover and the crowd is praying that Sora kicks out!
Yuri Watanabe: ONNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!! THREEEEEEEEE!!!!
(DING DING DING!!)
(“Spitfire” by The Prodigy plays as the crowd boo, they have all the right to boo JUNKO who is holding her neck in pain but Rei Kagura and Jessica Rose enter the ring to support her.)
Naomi Serizawa: YOUR WINNNER AND STILL THE JET WORLD CHAMPION!!!! JUUUUUNNNNNNKOOOOOOOOO!!!!!
Maki Fujioka: It was an incredible contest but what we saw at the end was horrible! JUNKO really proved that she is willing to do anything to retain in the JET World Championship even have her allies interfere. Poor Sora Todoh could have won, the opportunity was right there for her to win the JET World Championship but ruined by DESPERADOS and more importantly Jessica Rose who seems to be continuing her long run of ruining anything that might involve Stephanie Matsuda.
Asuka Kuramochi: But look at them, they’re so smug of themselves as Sora is being helped out of the ring by the young girls who are in pain as well. DESPERADOS sneak away with JET’s prized possession---WAIT KAGUYA?! KAGUYA JUST SLIPPED BEHIND AND DESPERADOS HAVEN’T NOTICED! She has a chair in her hand! KAGUYA JUST NAILED JESSICA WITH A SHOT IN THE BACK! AND ONE TO REI KAGURA!
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA is finally close to JUNKO! The JET World Champion immediately rushes out of the ring with her belt in hand. The other two DESPERADOS members have slid out of the ring as it’s just The Red Dragon left standing. JUNKO is looking on in fear as KAGUYA demands a mic to a loud ovation from the crowd.
KAGUYA: Oi! JUNKO, I want you to listen to me loud and clear! You nearly cost me my career, you took everything away from me and thought that you could get away with it? Unfortunately you were dead wrong, JUNKO! This isn’t about DESPERADOS and all you snakes that turned your back on me! This is about you and me now! No Q, no SAIKO, Rei or Julia or anyone else in DESPERADOS. Hell even if you lost to Sora, I wouldn’t have cared...I just want you!
(The crowd cheers as KAGUYA continues to speak. KAGUYA is completely glaring at JUNKO who is at the ramp.)
KAGUYA: At Cinderella Story, you took away six months of my career! It’s only fair that I take everything you have including THAT championship! This isn’t a battle to save JET, this battle is about my revenge and nothing more!
(JUNKO begins to not care as she makes her way to the back while holding her title tightly and her faction members walking to the back with her. The camera is now focused on KAGUYA. “With Vengeance” by Yosuke Kinoshita plays as KAGUYA drops the mic and makes her way back up the ramp.)
Maki Fujioka: Well, you heard it first! I think JUNKO has just found her next challenger and it’s a pissed The Red Dragon. KAGUYA is coming for the championship, not because of JET’s sake but for her own revenge.
Asuka Kuramochi: It seems that KAGUYA is still the same and has no care for JET even after everything. And ladies and gentlemen, it is nearly time for our main event! One more intermission before the main event!
---
The scene opens on a beautiful starry night. Then there’s a falling star that leads to the Seibu Metlife Dome building as the fireworks start to blaring all over. Then it transitioned to the excited crowd in the arena as a couple of JET stars are showing. With that transition ended, the screen shows the following messages.
“Are you ready?”
CINDERELLA STORY XV
APRIL 4TH, 2021.
---
(Currently a black screen can be heard is faint back up vocals)
“Hey! Hey! Samurai Heart! Hey! Hey! Samurai Heart!”
(The opening guitars of “Samurai Heart (Some Like It Hot)” by SPYAIR begin to play as a video package for the main event starts to roll. The highlights of both Momoko Honda and IZM’s time in JET play with both of them coming into the promotion as prospects. It shows Momoko joining JET in 2018 and IZM joining in 2019 respectively. Along with that it shows their growth and their personal success, Momoko winning the Academy Championship at Goddess Dream 2019, at the same event IZM won her first accolade in wrestling as she won the 2019 Tributary Shield Gauntlet Match. Clips from their first match against one another during the 2019 RISE Grand Prix tournament which ended in a draw and then at Cinderella Story 2020 where Momoko was able to retain. Finally it shows clips for the build in this match, both were given the opportunity to main event this PPV and both considered one another their biggest rival.)
(A video showcasing the history of all the former Academy champions plays showing every young star to have won it including the challenger for tonight’s match Momoko Honda and ending with the current champion IZM. The camera cuts to ringside where Naomi Serizawa is ready to go for one last time.)
Naomi Serizawa: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! IT IS NOW TIME FOR YOUR MAIN EVENT!
(“Rising Hope” by LiSA plays as Momoko Honda makes her way from the back onto the ramp. The Star Warrior has her signature black entrance jacket over a gold, white, and blue attire.)
Maki Fujioka: Now it’s time for the one match we have all been waiting for. The reason why this event is called Rise Up New Generation and out first is of course the challenger for this match. What can be said that hasn’t been already said about The Star Warrior. Former JET Academy Champion, an incredible young star and possibly the future of not just women’s wrestling but the entire industry. Momoko Honda’s growth ever since her singles match with Azumi Goto at last year’s Cinderella Story event has been a sight to behold. She went on to win the Academy Championship at the age of 19 and held onto the belt for nearly a year, 323 days to be exact.
Asuka Kuramochi: But things haven’t been smooth for Momoko since losing the Academy Championship this past June, she was a favorite to win the Miss Manami Tributary Shield and one of the favorite to win this year’s RISE Grand Prix but wasn’t able to win either. She has to focus tonight on the match ahead and I think she believes that she can beat IZM, she’s done it before and lets see if Momoko can do it again.
(Momoko enters the ring and is directed towards her corner by referee Yuri Watanabe as Momoko takes off her entrance jacket. The music changes to “Sarada-Fighting Spirit” by Yasaharu Takanashi and the crowd continue to cheer as the Academy Champion makes her way out from the back. IZM donning a black and silver attire along with a long red and orange entrance robe. The Academy Championship is around her waist as she walks down the ramp.)
Maki Fujioka: And there she is! The reigning and defending JET Academy Championship, what a moment it must be for her. IZM has been an incredible wrestler since her debut but she truly stepped up after Cinderella Story 14. Becoming Academy Champion, defending her title against Machiko Hasegawa and then competing in the RISE Grand Prix where she had an incredible tournament for her second time. The one thing she hasn’t done at all is beat Momoko Honda and if she could do that, it would get back for her loss at Cinderella Story.
Asuka Kuramochi: It isn’t just that, the winner of this match could be seen as the future Ace of JET and I feel like both of them want to lead this promotion.
IZM enters the ring as she looks at Momoko Honda, she nods and heads toward her corner. “Sarada Fighting Spirit” dies down as JET President Hanako Nakamoto enters the ring and presents both challenger and champion with flower bouquets for their achievement of main eventing this show. Soon Naomi Serizawa enters the ring for the introduction.
Naomi Serizawa: For the 3,761 people in attendance and those watching from their home! IT IS NOW TIME FOR THE MAIN EVENT OF THE EVENING!
The crowd cheers as Naomi continues.
Naomi Serizawa: Introducing first! THE CHALLENGER… FROM KYOTO, JAPAN! SHE IS THE STAR WARRIOR!! HHHOOOOOOONNNNNNDDDDAAAAA MOMOKOOOOOOO!!!!
Momoko makes her way over to the center of the ring where she poses and takes off her entrance jacket. She soon passes her jacket over to the young girls at ringside.
Naomi Serizawa: AND HER OPPONENT! FROM TOKYO, JAPAN! SHE IS THE ROARING SPIRIT OF TOMORROW AND THE 19TH JET ACADEMY CHAMPION! IIIIIIZZZZZUUUUUUUUMMMMMIIIIIII!!!!!
IZM steps out of her corner and raises her fist in the air similar to how her father would. The crowd erupts in cheers as soon takes off her championship belt, passing it to Yuri Watanabe who raises it in the air. Yuri passes the belt over to Naomi Serizawa who exits the ring with JET President Hanako Nakamoto. Yuri Watanabe checks with both competitors if they’re ready and they both nod as the bell is soon rung!
(DING DING DING!)
Maki Fujioka: With the referee signalling for the bell, it is time for the main event to begin. You can just feel it in the atmosphere here in the Sendai Sun Plaza. The crowd is behind both the young stars. With 3,500 plus in attendance, they have been waiting for this match. After a great night of action, it is time for our main event.
Asuka Kuramochi: You're right and it seems like both are ready to go as Momoko and IZM are circling the ring. Both lock up as IZM is immediately able to push back Momoko to the ropes without any problem. Of course, the Academy Champion has the strength advantage, Momoko will need to think of a different strategy. Once again both lock up-- Momoko with a kick to the gut and she applies a side headlock. Momoko is holding in that tight but IZM nails a few shots to the ribs before pushing Momoko off. Now Momoko rebounds off the ropes but immediately runs into a **LOUD** chop from champion! That chop had everybit of power that the Academy Champion has in it as Momoko takes a step back. IZM with another big chop to the chest! Momoko is again holding her chest in pain but she responds with a kick right to the chest of the champion! One more kick from Momoko and just like the chops that IZM hit, Momoko is putting everything into these kicks. IZM tries to respond but Momoko ducks the chop and nails another kick. Another chop but again Momoko dodges and nails a kick to the chest!
Maki Fujioka: Momoko is making sure to not let any of those chops hit her as it seemed that she was struggling to breathe after two brutal ones. At the same time she is nailing kicks that are just as louds. Momoko kicks again but IZM has this one blocked and finally nails another chop! Momoko is in pain as she is holding her chest and coughing just a bit. IZM now with an Irish-whip as she tries to send Momoko into the corner but Momoko reverses it and it’s the Academy Champion being sent into the corner back first. Momoko charges but immediately runs into the boot of IZM which sends Momoko back. IZM now gets herself set on the middle rope and leaps---MOMOKO CAUGHT IZM WITH A DROPKICK! Momoko’s dropkick just nailed IZM in the face and now the challenger with the cover.
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNEEEEEE!!! TWWWWOOO---
Asuka Kuramochi: IZM rolls to the outside and holds her cheek in pain. Momoko is now readying herself and looking right at IZM. MOMOKO LEAPS WITH A SPRINGBOARD CROSSBODY RIGHT ONTO IZM! The challenger took a leap of faith and it worked as the champion is down once again. In the ring, referee Yuri Watanabe begins her count as she wants both competitors back in the ring. Momoko now gets IZM up and Irish-whips IZM into the steel barricade only to have it be reversed by IZM! The challenger is the one sent into the steel, IZM now charges and nails Momoko with a brutal running chop that almost sends her over the barricade and right into the fans into the press area here next to us. IZM grabs Momoko and places against the ring pole, she has her challenger leaning back first against the steel. IZM now turns to the crowd to get them hyped up.
Maki Fujioka: IZM now turns to face Momoko and goes for a chop---MOMOKO DUCKS! IZM’S HAND JUST CONNECTED HARD WITH NOTHING BUT THE STEEL OF THE RING POLE! IZM seems to be in pain as Momoko immediately takes IZM and sends her shoulder first into the steel barricade. Momoko seems to have a new level of aggression as she now sends IZM into the ring and immediately goes for a cover.
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNEEEEE!!! TWOOOOO!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: And IZM kicks out again. Momoko immediately goes to work on that arm, and applies a fujiwara armbar. Like you said Maki, a different level of aggression from Momoko Honda. This has to be considered the biggest match of her career and if I was in her spot, I would be this aggressive against an opponent I know well. Momoko now keeps that fujiwara in tight as the pain on IZM’s face shows it, Momoko is not only pulling that arm back but also she is pulling the same hurt fingers back to really add in more damage.
Maki Fujioka: Not a hold I want to be in right now myself, Yuri Watanabe is checking on IZM if she wants to tap but the Academy Champion isn’t giving up. Her right arm is being completely torn apart by her challenger right now but she wants to keep going. IZM is crawling for the ropes, she is reaching closer and closer as the fans are trying to cheer her on to not quit. IZM is almost there! She almost has a hold of the ropes… AND SHE GETS IT! She has a hold of the bottom rope as Yuri Watanabe is telling Momoko to let go but she isn’t letting go of the armbar..
Yuri Watanabe: Momoko, break the hold! ONE! TWO! THREE! FOUR!
Maki Fujioka: Momoko breaks the hold finally as the champion is holding her right arm in pain. Yuri Watanabe has Momoko move back so she can check on IZM and it seems that she is okay to continue. With the support of the rope, she is able to get back her feet---MOMOKO WITH A RUNNING SOCCER KICK TO THE RIGHT ARM! Yuri Watanabe now getting in the face as she warns Momoko as IZM had her arm on the ropes and to give her space. Momoko has shown an unexpected level of aggression in this match. IZM once again gets up to her feet and this time Yuri Watanabe is blocking Momoko until IZM is ready to go. The referee is finally out of the way as IZM lets go of the ropes. Momoko tries to get a hold of IZM’s right arm but the champion pulls away and nails a chop with the injured right arm. It seems it hurt IZM more to hit that chop than Momoko who took it.
Asuka Kuramochi: It seems like it as Momoko shrugs it off and nails a kick to the chest of IZM before hitting another one to the right arm. IZM fights back with a left handed chop but it seems that her left hand isn’t as powerful as her right. One more kick as Momoko soon attempts to Irish-whip IZM but instead it is reversed by the champion and instead Momoko is the one being sent into the corner. IZM now charges and nails a running chop right to the chest of Momoko! IZM now rushes to the opposite corner and back but she rushes right into the boot of Momoko! The challenger charges and swings but IZM is able to duck and slip behind. The champion has a waistlock but Momoko is fighting! Momoko with back elbows right to the side of IZM’s face. The challenger is able to escape but she is immediately pulled back by IZM into the waistlock! HUGE GERMAN SUPLEX AS THE BACK OF MOMOKO’S HEAD GOES CRASHING INTO THE TURNBUCKLE!
(Replay of the German Suplex is shown as Momoko’s head took a nasty bump right into the middle turnbuckle.)
Maki Fujioka: That did not look good at all. Momoko is holding the back of her back in pain but IZM forces her up to a standing position. IZM looks at the crowd and raises her hurt right arm in pain for them. The crowd knows what is next as IZM has started her machine gun barrage, she is laying into the challenger! IZM isn’t stopping as she is laying into her challenger with a quick barrage of chops! IZM is finally done as she pulls Momoko out of the corner and nails a perfect Northern Lights Suplex! IZM has the bridge.
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNNEEEEE!!! TWWWWWOOOOO!!
Asuka Kuramochi: And Momoko kicks out at two as IZM backs away and tries to get some feeling back into her right arm. She now gets Momoko up to her feet and nails a stiff elbow. Even with the damage to the right arm, IZM’s strikes are still impactful. Momoko is taking back a bit but The Star Warrior responds with a kick to the chest. IZM with another elbow and Momoko changes it up as she responds with a slap! Another slap from the challenger, a third one from Momoko. IZM goes for a chop but Momoko ducks and lands a low kick to the right thigh of her opponent! Momoko with a kick to ribs, now goes for a roundhouse kick but IZM has it blocked! IZM blocks and swings for a lariat...ROUNDHOUSE KICK! Now Momoko completes the Dance Of Many Stars combination. The Academy Champion is stunned as Momoko turns IZM around and nails her with a beautiful bridging German Suplex!!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!! THHHREEE---
Maki Fujioka: IZM kicked out… AND MOMOKO IMMEDIATELY GOES FOR AN ARMBAR! SHE TRYING TO GET IT LOCKED BUT IZM WITH THE AWARENESS TO KEEP HER ARMS CLAMPED! IZM is fighting as she gets herself with her arm still trapped… SHE LIFTS MOMOKO even with her arm still in the armbar but the challenger is able to transition into a Triangle Choke! She has the arm of IZM as the champion is screaming in pain. Momoko could win her second Academy championship with something she has never done before in JET, she could win a match via submission! IZM is looking helpless as she drops down onto her knees. She might tap out! Referee Yuri is checking on her to see if she wants to give up!
Asuka Kuramochi: IZM is fighting! She is again able to lift Momoko up while her arm is still trapped! IZM DROPS MOMOKO DOWN WITH A SITOUT POWERBOMB! IZM gets the cover!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOONNNNNNEEEEEEE!!! TWOOOOOO!!!!!!! THHHHHHRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!
Maki Fujioka: Momoko kicks out but what a way to break a submission from IZM. The force she put into that powerbomb to force Momoko to drop the triangle choke was incredible. The champion is the first back to her feet and again she is shaking her right arm at the moment, the damage must be getting to her but she soon gets Momoko back to her feet. The challenger has been showing no sign of life as IZM picks her up and up for another powerbomb, she’s going for a Holy Three Bomb! BIG SITOUT CRUCIFIX POWERBOMB BUT MOMOKO IS FIGHTING AND STRUGGLING! MOMOKO WITH A HURRICANRANA! SHE COUNTERED THE CRUCIFIX BOMB OUT OF NOWHERE! Both competitors are on their feet! IZM swings wildly but Momoko ducks and nails a HUGE German Suplex BUT IZM IS UP TO HER FEET! She is right back and IZM with her own waistlock! RELEASE GERMAN---MOMOKO FLIPS OUT OF THE GERMAN SUPLEX! MOMOKO WITH A SNAP DRAGON SUPLEX AND IT CONNECTS! IZM is down to her knees as Momoko rushes in! TSUNAMI STRIKE! THE SHINING WIZARD LANDS AS MOMOKO GOES FOR THE COVER!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOOONNNNEEEE!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!! TTTHHHHRREEEE----
Asuka Kuramochi: IZM kicked out as the fans exploded with cheers! They are being treated to an incredible match by two of JET’s best young stars. Both are throwing every big move that they have and nothing has been able put the other down so far. Momoko is the first up to her feet and IZM is slow to get up but she’s on her knees. The challenger nails a big kick to the chest that seems to have IZM holding her chest in pain, another shoot kick but IZM is not going down… rather it seems the champion is slowly getting back to her feet while getting kicked in the chest. IZM is kicked again, this has been an incredible and passionate fight from her and she doesn’t seem to be in the mood to quit!
Maki Fujioka: Momoko with one more kick and IZM is pushed back just a bit but the champion responds with an elbow. Another kick from Momoko and IZM responds with another elbow! A second elbow, a third elbow! IZM spins for A ROARING ELBOW---NO! MOMOKO WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK AND CAUGHT IZM WHILE SHE WAS SPINNING! The Champion is down to one knee as Momoko rebounds off the ropes--- IZM WITH A K-DANGER KICK! SHE CAUGHT MOMOKO ON THE REBOUND WITH A GAMENGIRI! Momoko is down as IZM immediately picks her and sets her in position! SHE HAS HER IN A CRUCIFIX HOLD POSITION AND NAILS MOMOKO WITH THE **HOLY THREE BOMB**! A HUGE SITOUT CRUCIFIX BOMB FROM IZM! NOW THE COVER! Can this be it?!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!! THHHHHREEEEEEEE!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: MOMOKO KICKED OUT!! She kicked out after a K-Danger Kick and a Holy Three Bomb! This has become an all time classic and both have brought their A-Game tonight especially with the pressure of the main event. The question is who wants it more right now. Who wants to show that they’re the future of JET and the one to lead this company in the future.
Maki Fujioka: Exactly and it seems that IZM is up first while Momoko looks down and out. The Academy Champion gets her challenger up. Fierce elbow strikes from IZM, three unanswered as Momoko hasn’t responded to any of them. IZM now getting Momoko up in an Argentine hold, she is looking to end this match but Momoko is fighting! Momoko escapes and slips behind, a big dropkick from Momoko has IZM stunned and now an Irish-whip from the challenger that sends the champion into the corner! MOMOKO RUSHES IN AND NAILS A HUGE YAKUZA KICK! IZM is down and seated against ropes as now she rushes to the opposite corner and back! A HESITATION DROPKICK FROM MOMOKO!! She pulls IZM out of the corner and into the perfect position, Momoko now climbing the top rope as the excitement is reaching new levels from the fans! IZM is still down and MOMOKO LEAPS! HAPPY LANDING FROM MOMOKO! SHE HIT IT! MOMOKO IS GONNA BECOME A TWO TIME ACADEMY CHAMPION!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEEEE!!!!! TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!! THHHHHHHHHRRRRREEEEEEEEEEEEE-----
Asuka Kuramochi: SHE KICKED OUT!!! IZM KICKED OUT! Momoko might have just been one millisecond away from her second title win in JET! Momoko looks completely shocked as she asks Yuri Watanabe if she’s sure that it was a three or not. She has all the right to ask, it was that exact same move that defeated IZM at Cinderella Story but tonight that isn’t the case. Whatever the reason might be that IZM kicked out, it means that this match is going to continue. Momoko is on knees as she is trying to figure out how to put away IZM who is struggling to get her feet! The champion is on her knees and gets kicked in the chest by Momoko. Another kick to the chest by the challenger as IZM looks almost out of it. A third kick to the chest as IZM is now pushing herself to get up. Momoko with a fourth and again the wind is knocked out of IZM by the challenger.
Maki Fujioka: Heavy kicks this late into a match can feel like the most deadly things for the ones receiving it and the pain on IZM’s face is showing that. Momoko soon pulls back and charges in...BUZZSAW KICK--NO! IZM DUCKS AND ROLLS UP MOMOKO!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNNEEEE!!! TTTWWWWWOOO---
Maki Fujioka: Momoko kicks out as both competitors are on their feet! IZM with a chop right to the chest of Momoko who replies with a kick to the chest! Both are trading their signature strike in the middle of the ring as the crowd is split right down the middle on who they want to see win. Both are going at it as neither seem to be in the mood to quit right now! IZM now with a spinning back chop! A third backhand chop! Momoko is dazed as IZM raises her right arm in the air! She rushes to the ropes and back! LARIA---NO MOMOKO WITH A COUNTER LARIAT BUT IZM ISN’T DOWN! Momoko pulls IZM for an EARTHQUAKER! IZM escapes the hold and spins around! ROARING ELBOW FROM IZM! The impact of the elbow has Momoko spun around… AND A SECOND ROOOOAAAARRRRIIIING EEEELLLLBOOOOOW FROM IZM THIS TIME TO THE BACK OF MOMOKO’S HEAD!

Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOONNNNNEEEEE!! TWWWWWOOOOOO!!! THHHHRREEEE---
Asuka Kuramochi: MOMOKO KICKED OUT!?! Oh my goodness, Momoko kicked out at the very second! The crowd is shocked and it seems IZM is shocked as well, maybe the damage to the right arm lessened the impact of the elbows, we won’t know for sure but all we know is that this match is still going! This incredible main event is still going but they have to be nearing the end of their time limit. IZM is the first up to her feet and tries to pick up Momoko but she seems completely lifeless at the moment. Another try and the champion has her up. IZM with another Argentine hold and possibly looking for another one of her finishing moves but Momoko is finally showing some signs of life! A back elbow from Momoko as she slips and right in front of IZM.
Maki Fujioka: Momoko with a slap right to the face of IZM and the champion responds with one of her own! These two are putting on a great show of fighting spirit, neither wants to go down and both want to prove they are the future of JET. Both are probably nearing their end in this match and are doing everything they can right now. Momoko with repeated slaps as IZM is stunned with the flurry of slaps from The Star Warrior. Momoko’s slaps have IZM down to her knees! Momoko rushes to the ropes back… A HUGE LAAAARRRRIIIIAAAAT FROM IZM!!! MOMOKO GOT NAILED WITH THAT LARIAT AS IZM HAS HER UP AND IN ANOTHER ARGENTINE HOLD!
Asuka Kuramochi: Momoko is fighting but IZM isn’t letting her down! IZM WITH THE QUEEEEEENNNNNN’S RROOOOOOAAAAAAAD TOOOOO HEEEAVEEENNN!! IZM HAS THE BRIDGE!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!! THREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
(DING DING DING!!)
“Sarada -Fighting Spirit-” plays again and IZM lets off the bridge. Young girls immediately rush the ring and help out both IZM and Momoko. Both are completely exhausted as IZM is handed her championship belt. Momoko Honda and IZM are helped up to their feet.
Maki Fujioka: What a match! An incredible main event! This has to be considered to JET’s match of the year and a match of the year in wrestling as a whole!
Asuka Kuramochi: I know we say that our competitors throw everything at one another during big matches but this might be actually the case. Every maneuver in their arsenal was used in this match and in the end, IZM had to pull out the Queen’s Road To Heaven for the win here tonight.
Izumi lets "Sarada~Fighting Spirit" die off as she takes in the match that she just fought, and to catch her breath. Izumi signals for a microphone and soon one is handed to her. Momoko is being escorted out of the ring by the young girls.
Izumi: Momoko...thank you!
She takes a moment to catch her breath a bit more as the crowd claps in a show of appreciation.
Izumi: When I began in JET, I knew there would be a lot of pressure on me. Not only being a second-generation wrestler, but because I was the rookie who just signed. I knew, I would be put through the ringer and have my skills and spirit tested. I never would have thought I would be headlining a show, or even holding a belt, but look at me now. I headlined a show, I am holding a belt, I have had great matches with some of JET's best Momoko, Azumi, Machiko, Midori, and more, and I have stood back up every time I was knocked down.
She pauses as some of the crowd chant Ko-ba-shi, and Izumi smiles.
Izumi: Thank you...Many would say I have proven my worth, but speaking from the heart...I feel like I barely have proven it. I feel like I am now just hitting my stride and showing that I am not getting by on my name alone, but on my heart. My fighting spirit. My love for this sport. I have given everything I can and sometimes it hasn't paid off, but other times it has. For some this would be a negative impact on them, but I knew what I was getting into because my father and others told me that my first year would be rough, and from there your true journey begins.
Izumi wipes a tear away from her eye.
Izumi: While, I could say what I see in my journey. I won't, but I will say one thing. Momoko, I thank you after this match because you pushed me to my limits and always have, and even though you lost and I won, I wouldn't hold my hand low as you put a tremendous amount of work. Not only in this match, but all your matches and even for JET itself, but there is just one thing. You and I have had a good amount of matches, including one that was a draw. You won the first and it was a gas. I won the second and it was a blast. So now how about you and I settle this once for all. What I am proposing, if Hanako allows it, is one final match between you and me. The Future Ace of JET vs The Valorous Spirit of JET. This isn't business, this is personal because I feel like if I can beat you one final time then I am ready to move forward, but if I can't then I need to train harder. That is though if Hanako grants my request.
Izumi takes in a deep breath as the crowd applaud Izumi
Izumi: Now...there is one last thing I want to say. In my time, here in JET, I have been part of many tag teams and sometimes it was a success, and sometimes it wasn't. Now, though I have thought about it, and I have decided that I need someone I can tag with and do well with. I have decided on no other than my close friend. Sendai! JET! I present to you my best friend, my tag partner, and the second half of the New Generation Army...Saki Misawa!
"All Ready" begins to play as Saki Misawa makes her way out, and the crowd begin chanting Mi-sa-wa. Izumi lets Saki in the ring and as "All Ready" dies off.
Izumi: I know now, that with Saki by my side I will have someone watching my back and be there to support me. I also know, if I...or if we ever decide to go after the tag belts then I know that I have someone I can relay on and be successful with. Also, don't think that just because Saki and I are a team that we aren't going to be solely focusing on just the tag titles because that is wrong. So with all that said...thank you for coming to this amazing show, and thank you to those who have been at my side from the beginning.
Izumi sets the microphone down as "Ninja Grove" begins to play as both Izumi and Saki bows out of respect as they leave the ring as the final shot we see is Izumi and Saki bowing one time.
Maki Fujioka: What a way to end tonight’s show! We have a new tag team here in JET and now we can definitely now claim IZM as a future Ace. Not just The Ace of JET but the entire joshi scene.
Asuka Kuramochi: You’re right! And now it’s time for us to say our goodbyes. Thank you everyone for tuning in! For Maki Fujioka, and Naomi Serizawa! I’m Asuka Kuramochi signing off.
The final shot of the show is the two best friends posing together and smiling as IZM has her title high in the air.
