Singles Match
Selena Firehouse vs Evelyn Bennet
The next contest is a bit of a contest of strength, as Evelyn Bennet takes on Selena Firehouse! Both women rush forward into a striking contest, but Selena’s able to quickly get control of the situation and haul Evelyn overhead with a massive belly-to-belly suplex! She follows up with a deadlift German, spiking her onto her head, before following through with an attempt at a Deadlift Powerbomb, but Evelyn counters into an armdrag! Evelyn plants Selena, and follows up with an attempt at a discus lariat, but Selena follows up with a superkick that catches Evelyn out! Selena follows up with another Belly-to-Belly, and then plants Evelyn with a spinebuster, lifting her with ease! She covers, but Evelyn kicks out at two! Selena drags her back up to her feet, and shoves her into the corner, following up with a chop, but Evelyn counters with a superkick to the jaw! Evelyn begins drilling Selena with strikes, trying to wear her down, before driving her knee into Selena’s midsection, causing her to bend over, and hauling her down with an STO Backbreaker! She pins, but Selena kicks out at two! Evelyn follows up with an attempt at a Pounce, but Selena takes it, and catches her with a Butterfly Suplex into another pin attempt-for two!
These women trade big moves back and forth as we pull into the final stretch of the match, Selena going for a Discus Lariat to Evelyn, but Evelyn intercepts it with one of her own, only for Selena to not go down! Evelyn hits the ropes, and comes in hot for a Crossbody, but Selena catches her into a backbreaker! Selena follows up with another Belly-to-Belly suplex, and then plants Evelyn. She follows up with a spear, but Evelyn catches her with a knee to the skull, and then a Rolling Elbow! She drops Selena, and goes for a pin, but Selena kicks out at two point five! Evelyn pulls her back up to a knee, hits another superkick, and then grabs a hold of Selena’s wrist, looking for one more Roaring Elbow in a ripcord format, but Selena counters and drives Evelyn downward, before hitting the ropes and the Let Me Finish, covering Evelyn, and securing the pin, and the win!
(The camera opens to LAW General Manager Madam Vega standing in the center of the ring.)
Madam Vega: We are just two weeks from what was one of the biggest shows the IJWF has ever held. Collision Course III was a rounding success and I have it on good authority that next year’s event will be even bigger! As we move forward, we have just one more event between now and Lethal Hearts 3: Amazon Warfare. This show will be headlined by the Amazon Warfare Battle Royal, which will be explained later this evening. What else that’s happening at this show will be a clash of two brands. Since 2019’s Trifecta event, the Lethal Angel Championship and the OWA Women’s World Championship have yet to share the same stage. That changes at the co-main event of Amazon Warfare. In a joint promotion with OWA Odyssey General Manager Viola DeMarco, Llorona, the OWA Women’s World Champion will be putting her title on the line against LAW’s own Roxy in a winner takes all match!
(Madam Vega smiled as she watched the crowd cheer in unison.)
Monica Vaughan/Kat Ricci: What!?
Madam Vega: That’s not all. OWA Goddesses Champion Rebecca Brookes will be facing Jessica Hendrix in a match for the Lethal American Championship. The Goddesses Championship won’t be on the line, but Ms. Brookes has a chance to walk out of the Viejas Arena a double champion. As for the Lethal Specialist Championship, tonight we will be having four Beat the Clock matches where whoever finished their match the quickest will face Sydney St. Clair in a 30-minute Ironwoman Match. As for the tag situation, at the request of the champs, Season of Slaughter and former champs Celeste Dumont & Io Ishimori will have their chance at the De Vil Sisters in a Triple Threat Tag Match. As for the IJWF Tag Team Championships, the challengers will be decided tonight. More announcements will be made regarding the event in the near future, so stay tuned!
(“Cherry Bomb” by the Runaways play as Madam Vega climbs out of the ring.)
Monica Vaughan: Did you hear that? It’s an Odyssey invasion!
Kat Ricci: Looks like Madam Vega has big plans for LAW as we move towards Lethal Hearts. Not going to lie, I’m really excited about Amazon Warfare!
Monica Vaughan: Speaking of which, let’s go to our first Beat the Clock Challenge!
Lethal Specialist Beat the Clock Challenge
Olympia vs Savannah Sunshine
The match between Savannah and Olympia was even all the way through with both getting in some great offense at the beginning of the match. But Savannah was cut off by Olympia and hit with a kitchen sink, it was big moves after big moves from both women as both wanted to set the first time of this beat the clock challenge episode of LAW. Olympia almost got the win with a discus punch but Savannah kicked out at two. Olympia soon got Savannah up for a Thrill of Victory but Sunshine countered with a crucifix driver, and to the shock of everyone, she got the win in three minutes.
Winner: Savannah Sunshine via pinfall (3:00)
Backstage
(Sisters Jessica and Valerie Hendrix are seen talking to each other by the locker room. Valerie is in her attire while Jessica is in civilian clothes with the Lethal American Championship over her shoulders.)
Valerie Hendrix: My debut match, wish me luck.
Jessica Hendrix: Of course. Just stay focused and do well. Before you know it, I won’t be the only one in the family holding gold.
(As both sisters laugh, OWA Goddesses Champion Rebecca Brookes walks up to them with her title in hand.)
Rebecca Brookes: Howdy ladies.
(Jessica turns to Rebecca with an eyebrow raised.)
Jessica Hendrix: Not everyone from Texas uses ‘howdy’.
Valerie Hendrix: (laughs) Lies. Everyone says howdy.
(Rebecca laughs and shakes her head.)
Rebecca Brookes: Listen, I’ve come in peace. I just wanted to say that I look forward to our upcoming title match. I’ve respect what you’ve done with the belt so far and I want to be the best challenge you’ve had so far.
(Jessica turns to fully face Rebecca and nods.)
Jessica Hendrix: I’m sure you’ll give it your all, but I’m determined to walk into Lethal Hearts with this belt over my shoulder. I’ve seen you on Odyssey and I respect what you’ve accomplished, but the legacy of the Lethal American Championship lies with me and me only. And I plan on keeping it that way for as long as possible.
(Rebecca nodded as she smiled at Jessica.)
Rebecca Brookes: Okay, okay. I admire your gusto. I guess I’ll be seeing you in the ring then.
(Rebecca turns to Valerie and winks.)
Rebecca Brookes: Break a leg.
(Rebecca walks away as the sisters look on.)
Etune Manager looked around at the Globe Theatre a Few Days before the show. This was it she had finally made it to the big time, through indies and high school gyms. A former manager was now going to wrestle. A triple threat match? Who cares it was all a stage for her to show off what she could do and if she made a big enough splash she was going to be welcomed back with open arms. She paused on that last thought.
Etune Manager: Okay maybe not open arms, jeez I really gotta get more realistic on my expectations but whatever. I'm excited, who can blame me really? My other opportunity to get in here would've been in the shadow of someone else, but no the spotlight will be all mine.
Etune adjusted the backpack which held all of her gear and props. The very comedy and outlandish style that got her noticed in the first place all housed in one delicate bag. She smiled and began walking through the town.
Etune Manager: Well yeah of course the spotlight isn't all mine, there's two other people in the match. But you know what I don't know what they'll be bringing and the fact of the matter is they won't know what I'll be bringing either. Which in a sense is a very exciting prospect because everything is a surprise. And whoever can adapt the best will be the one to rise to the top but isn't that the name of the game? Adaptation? and I have a strong feeling I can adapt. They aren't ready for what I can bring to the table, but then again I don't think a lot of LAW is so... you know what that's just going to be really fun to surprise an entire company. That's a new one. And not with good wrestling I'm not saying I'm the best. That's just boring and old. I'm just saying that I'm very different than what people are used to...
Etune shrugged and yawned.
Etune Manager: ah well Match will be happening a while from now, better get settled in before I stress myself out too much about this. and you know what? whatever happens, happens.
Maria Cuesta: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome my guest at this time… Savannah Sunshine!
Savannah Sunshine: Hi, Maria. Thanks so much for having me here.
Maria Cuesta: Absolutely! Now, we’ve been seeing some changes in you lately. You’re less… dark and gloomy and angry and more… How do I say this? Back to your old self?
Savannah Sunshine: You are absolutely correct. I guess I started to see that I was being someone that I’m really not. It was getting really hard to just… sit back and pretend that I was okay acting out like I was. But, I’d like to get back to basics with slight adjustments.
Maria Cuesta: So, does this mean we’ll see more of Savannah Sunshine around these parts?
Savannah Sunshine: Oh, absolutely. But, let’s not get it twisted. I’m not going to be the same bright eyed rookie I once was. I know how things work around here in this business. I know my friends can also be my enemies. I know that there is always a target on someone’s back. I have to have eyes in the back of my head at all times.
Maria Cuesta: I see. Makes a lot of sense considering you have some familiar faces around here yeah?
Savannah Sunshine: Yup! Actually, Revy and I used to be pretty close. Not so much these days for various reasons. But, she’s someone I know quite well.
Maria Cuesta: Right, right. Former tag partners and friends. I get it. There’s definitely history there. What can we expect from you from here on out?
Savannah Sunshine: You can expect me to fight even harder. There’s a lot at stake around here and in my match tonight? Even more at stake. But, win or lose, I have to keep my head up and keep pushing forward, you know? No use in crying over spilled milk.
Maria Cuesta: Wise words! Thank you so much for your time, Savannah. Good luck!
Savannah Sunshine: Thank you for having me!
Woman: I deeply despise introductions.
A moment or two passes before the picture fully comes to life. We (the audience) are introduced to a lengthy hallway. It’s lit by nothing more than a dim light bulb. Although the hallway is currently empty, the camera’s focus is fixated on the far end.
Woman: Are you curious as to why? The answer is actually quite simple really. Oftentimes, these introductory promotional videos amount to nothing more than a fickle formality. Some people blatantly lie about who they happen to be. Others hide behind some sort of mask in order to present some sort of bastardized version of themselves. Regardless of the method or reasoning, the world does not get to see the true nature of the man or woman. It all becomes a huge waste of time.
A brief moment passes.
Woman: That being said, I am required to speak to you this evening. But fear not. I shall not fall into those pitfalls. And above all else, I shall tell you the truth.
A few seconds elapse before a figure appears at the end of the hallway. The figure is adorned in a short red leather jacket, a black top, black distressed jeans, and a pair of J75 Cylinder boots.
Woman: Professional wrestling is a brutal industry. More often than not, its participants are left battered and broken. That is why a lengthy career is nothing to scoff at. It is usually an indication of a person’s perseverance. I myself have had the pleasure of wrestling for well over a decade now. I have done some marvelous things in that period of time. And while it would provide me with a certain amount of egotistical joy to sit here a list them off for you all, I did promise brevity.
The figure continues to advance upon the camera itself, moving closer with each step.
Woman: My odyssey throughout this great sport has allowed me to wrestle all across the globe. Canada, Europe, Japan, Mexico, and the United States, just to name a few. What about the promotions that I have worked at? They have been vast and numerous. A few of them are alive and kicking, but many of them are remnants of the past.
It isn’t long before the figure is only a few paces away from the camera. She runs her fingers through her hair and allows her black locks to flow freely.
Woman: Now I am here in Lethals Angels of Wrestling.
She pauses for a moment.
Woman: I shall not mince words with you all. I am not here to look cute. I am not here to dilly dally. I am not here to play games―
There’s another pause.
Woman: I am here to prove to myself that I am still the baddest woman on the fucking planet. And I am more than willing to run you all into the dirt in order to do so.
For a moment, the figure simply stares into the camera’s lens.
Woman: My name is Misha LeCavalier. The LAW that you use to know? That is over now.
Static fills the screen. The picture then fades out.
Triple Threat Showcase
Etune Manager vs Misha LeCavalier vs Valerie Hendrix
The match started out at a slow pace between the three competitors as they tried to get a feel for one another. They grabbed each other’s hands in the center of the ring with Misha breaking the circle by kicking Valerie and whipping Etune to the ropes. Etune ducks under a spinning roundhouse and hits Valerie with a dropkick. When Misha tries to grab her from behind, Etune nails her with a back elbow and turns around for a flurry of palm strikes. Stunned, Misha falls victim to a bulldog. Manager attempts a pin, but Valerie breaks it. Hendrix attempts to whip her to the corner, but Etune reverses it and nails Valerie with a corner dropkick. She’s not finished however as she follows up with a gorgeous Tornado DDT! Instead of going for the pin, she locks up with LeCavalier and the two go through a chain wrestling exchange with Misha getting the double underhook position from behind. She attempts a Tiger suplex, but Etune flips out of it and counters with a bridging German Suplex. The ref starts the count, but Valerie breaks the pin at the two count.
Hendrix picks up Etune by the hair and tosses her out of the ring. She then sits up Misha and fires several kicks to the back. She follows up with a seated sleeper hold. But Misha fights out of it. Valerie ducks the wild swing and counters with a good ‘ol fashioned body slam. Feeling the momentum of the match, she climbs the nearest turnbuckle and goes for a moonsault! Valerie hits it and makes the cover! Etune slides in and breaks the pin just in time! Manager starts working Hendrix over with a couple of elbow shots to the back and attempts a Paradise Lock. Valerie slips out and counters with a German suplex! She turns to Misha who catches her gut kick and counters with a Dragon Screw! She keeps a hold of the leg and transitions into a knee bar! Valrie tries to escape from the submission. But Etune comes to her rescue by breaking it up! She picks up Misha and turns to Valerie Both women hook Misha for the double suplex- but Misha counters and lifts both of them for a suplex counter of her own!
The crowd is amazed by Misha's strength as she tosses Etune out of the ring. She climbs out to the apron and waits for Etune to her to her feet ringside before nailing a perfect apron soccer kick! With one opponent laid out and one still lying on the mat, Misha slingshots herself over the ropes, springboards off the third rope, and nails a flawless Lionsault in one swift motion! She lifts the leg for the pin, but Valerie kicks out at two-and-a-half! Frustrated, Misha picks up Hendrix and hits Intro into Madness (Cobra Clutch Lariat). She grabs hold of Valerie's arm and seamlessly transitions into Dire Anima III (Scissored Armbar) forcing Valerie to tap after mere seconds, giving Misha the victory.
Winner: Misha LeCavalier via submission
(We are shown an old school rail yard in the dead of night. Several guards are seen patrolling the vicinity with flashlights as if they were looking for someone. Accompanying them are two canines who are in the lead, sniffing along the ground. As they follow a trail along an old railroad train, a hidden figure emerges from the top.)
A ghost…
(The hunted figure is now the hunter as it moves between boxes and boxcars, keeping pace with its targets at every step.)
A blade in the night…
(There’s a flash of silver glinting against the moonlight as one of the guards is dragged into the darkness and attacked.)
Sharp and precise…
(Eventually, the remaining guards are taken out one by one. The figure slowly emerges from the shadows revealing themselves.)
Nothing more than a face and a name…
BODHI.
(As the camera pulls back, the woman kneels down and takes out a couple of treats to feed the dogs. After scratching their ears, she placed her hood over her head and went back into the shadows.)
IS HERE.
Singles Match
Sandra vs. BODHI
This match starts off hot, as BODHI takes Sandra to the ground almost immediately with a spinning back kick, mounting her and drilling her with heavy punches to the skull! BODHI rolls through and immediately pulls Sandra in for a DDT, but Sandra manages to fight her off for just a moment, looking for a roundhouse kick, but BODHI blocks it. BODHI comes in for a jumping knee strike, rocking Sandra and sending her to the canvas, but she only gets a two-count. BODHI follows up by yanking her to her feet, hooking both arms and looking for a Butterfly DDT, but Sandra once again fights out! Sandra manages to over rotate and PLANT BODHI with a Tornado DDT, but instead of going for a pin, she waits for her to pull to her knees, hitting the ropes and looking for a Basement Dropkick, but BODHI manages to duck it! BODHI catches Sandra with a Butterfly Clutch, and begins driving her knees into Sandra’s face, before planting her boot in Matthews’ face with a Queens’ Call! Matthews goes down, and BODHI covers, but she only nets a two!
BODHI drags Matthews back up, and the two trade strikes, but BODHI finds herself on the winning end of the exchange. A knee to the skull, another knee, and then another spinning back kick drops Matthews to the canvas. She drags Matthews up, setting her up on the ropes before hitting them, going for a handspring and driving her elbow back into Matthews’ skull, sending her to the apron. She follows up with a dropkick that sends Matthews to the outside, and then leaps for a Tornado DDT to the outside, but Matthews manages to evade her-if only for a moment! Matthews gets some leverage back with a Big Boot, followed up with a Reverse STO to the outside. She rolls BODHI back up onto the apron, and follows up with another boot to the skull, rolling her in and going for a cover, but she, also, only nets a two! Sandra pulls BODHI back to her feet and looks for the Sit-Out Butterfly Piledriver, but as she hooks both of Bodhi’s arms, BODHI manages to counter into a Belly-to-Back Piledriver of her own! She spikes Sandra onto her head, and follows up with another Queen’s Call to the skull, dropping onto her for another cover, but Sandra kicks out right before three! BODHI calls for the end, pulling Sandra up to her feet and balancing her on the ropes before going high-LAST CALL! Bodhi plants Sandra onto her skull, and pins her for the three, and the win!
Narrator: What is Amazon Warfare?
(Various clips of past LAW matches juxtaposed against clips of armored warrior women doing battle.)
Narrator: Two women will start the war and every 90 seconds, another amazon will enter the battlefield.
(There’s a close up of several warriors engaged in melee combat with sword and shield.)
Narrator: The only way to eliminate your opponent is through pinfall or elimination inside the ring.
(Several amazons are seen falling in battle as they’re stabbed through with spears and swords.)
Narrator: The last warrior standing will win the right to main event Lethal Hearts 3 and challenge for the Lethal Angel Championship.
(Amidst the battlefield, a lone warrior stands, raising her sword in the air while delivering a battle cry.)
Narrator: Who will it be? Who will enter the battlefield? Find out soon. Remember...only the strong survive.
(In the Locker Room backstage, April is unpacking her gear as Revy slides into the shot behind her. Revy with her hands behind her back as April stares upwards and with her back turned against Revy.)
April: What are you hiding, Revy?
Revy: Moi? Hiding something from you? Never.
April: No, no. You are up to something. I don’t even have to look at you to know you are up to no good. So what is it?
(April turns around as Revy takes a few steps back)
Revy: Why you gotta think like that? Can’t I just come into the locker room and say “Hi” to my bestie? Like, A gurl worries because it’s been a few days after Valentines Day and you are still some how single and…
April: Enough of that! Please. Thank you, I appreciate the concern and all, But I’m alright, despite all the recent stuff that has been going on.
Revy: Koo koo koo. Anyway, Hypothetically, let’s say I am up to something.
April: Geez. Alright Revy, what is it?
Revy: So you know how in OWA, that other company we are in and how I’m in that group, Demo Corp…
April: Yes, we are in the same group.
Revy: So according to my brother, Demo Corp has been extremely profitable and successful to a point the estimated numbers and projections has exceeded all expectations, and right now, we are the most subscribed following on Onlyfans behind Hana Nakajima and Finnegan Wakefield. And It got me thinking, what if we brought that same magic to LAW.
April: Come on, Revy. At the rate this is going, factions and stables are gonna become way too oversaturated in the market and it’s gonna lose it’s momentum and meaning, because all of a sudden, it’s trending. But trends will die and be forgotten. Like I think factions and stables take away from what’s really important, good ole fashion wrestling, and personally speaking, I think we should be moving away from it, to really focus on creating stars with single competitors to set up the future and foundation of any federations instead of trying to succeed as a group and members getting lost in the mix, because convention shows, for one star to rise among the group, others will have to be put down or left behind, and that honestly hurts the business more. You know what I’m saying?
Revy: Yes….. but no.
April: You already made a stable without talking to me first, didn’t you?
Revy: I’M JUST SO GOOD AT IT! Come on in, guys!
(Kenny and JET Business Woman, two people from Revy’s previous encounters walk into the room. April, confused at what is going on.)
Kenny: Hey April.
April: Hey Kenny. … Whose this other woman and where did you find her?
Revy: Look April, when your girl doesn’t get booked for big shows, she wanders. Anyway, she is a Business Woman that works for JET.
April: Huh?
Revy: You gotta refer to the LAW episode before Trifecta. Anyway, she was tough, and I brought her all the way out so she could see what Amuricah Wrassling is all about.
April: And Kenny here is….
Revy: Kenny is a goddamn hero and when I called him up. He was bored, so he’s here now.
April: Revy… look.
Revy: CAN I KEEP THEM?! CAN I KEEP THEM?!
April: Revy, running a stable is a huge responsibility. You gotta train them, keep them in check and in line. And I’m assuming with Kenny, you gotta feed him.
Kenny: Taco Bell, please.
April: And her… what’s her name?
Revy: JET Business Woman.
April: I know what she does. But what is her name?
Revy: I dunno, that’s just what I call her.
April: You don’t even know her name?!
Revy: No, that’s what I call her. JET Business Woman, what do you call me?
JET Business Woman: Alcoholic Sassy Shooter.
Revy: See, she knows me so well.
April: Revy, I gotta put my foot down and…
Revy: ….Pleeeease!
(Revy looks up at April with puppy dog eyes, April looks at her in disgust, before the facial expression of her face melting, she submits.)
April: Damn those puppy dog eyes! Fine, But any decision with this group going forward has to go through me first.
Revy: Yay! We did it! Friends!
April: However. Because I don’t know what JET Business Woman can do, and Kenny… I’m gonna try to find more people.
Revy: To join?
April: Yes.
(Revy jumps up and down and claps in excitement)
April: But mainly so I don’t have to carry this group, we are gonna find able bodies that can hold their own.
Revy: We gonna hold auditions?!
April: Eh, no. Let me just scout some people. But Revy, you gotta remember. You can’t keep picking people up from the street, try to be friends with them, and bring them in to join a stable. This isn’t One Piece or Pokemon.
Revy: I know. I know. Stranger Danger. Getting Kidnapped. Etc.
April: Exactly, I’d feel bad for the dumbass dumb enough to kidnap you. We can’t cover that medical bill. But until then, stand by and I’ll figure this out.
Revy: THANKS APRIL! YOU’RE THE BEST!! COME ON GUYS!
(Revy skips away as Kenny follows. JET Business Woman and April look eye to eye before walking away as well. April places her hands on her hips and shakes her heads, mouthing, “what am I gonna do with her?”)
Lethal Specialist Beat the Clock Challenge
Revy vs Kylie Monroe
With three minutes set by Savannah Sunshine as the time to beat, the two rivals immediately started brawling right from the start of the match with an onslaught of punches and kicks. Both Revy and Kylie were hitting each other with everything they got. Their match devolved into a straight-up brawl, Kylie was able to get a close call with Scot’s Drop but Revy kicked out. With half of the time depleted, Kylie was looking to end it as she was looking for a Barrowlands Driver but Revy slipped out of the hold and connected with a perfect Falcon Arrow but Monroe kicked out. With less than 40 seconds on the clock, Kylie is up to her feet by struggling only to get kicked in the gut. Revy nails the kick to the gut and goes for the recoil but Kylie pushes Revy off just in time. A superkick attempt from Kylie is blocked and caught by Revy who spins Monroe around AND NAILS A RECOIL!
Revy goes for the cover but just as the hand got down for the three, the bell rung signaling that time has expired. Revy was so close, just a millisecond away from a win.
(An irate De Vil Sisters are seen walking down the corridor, dressed in their civilian clothes. Tori had her signature red hoodie on with her hands in her pocket, while Roni wore her custom-made black leather jacket. The sisters reach the catering area where they see Celeste Dumont and Io Ishimori talking amongst themselves. Tori taps Roni on the shoulder and the two grab a set of chairs and fold them up. As they’re about to attack, Season of Slaughter gets in between them, accompanied by Miles Larsen. Celeste and Io turn around in time to see what’s going on. Io steps a few feet away and hands Yoshi-san to a random staff member.)
Io Ishimori: Guard him with your life. Or I’ll be taking yours.
(The staff member walks away with the stuffed cat as Io stands next to her tag partner. Miles clasps his hands in satisfaction.)
Miles Larsen: As much as I would like to see the four of you killed by my monsters here and now, we would like to thank the De Vils for their bravery in facing an honorable death at Amazon Warfare. Fortunately, we’ll be destroying you cowards as well…
(Celeste and Io step to Miles but are dismayed when Wither and KATLA get in between them.)
Celeste Dumont: We’re going to make you eat those words, old man. And as for the so-called champs? What we did at Collision Course was just a warning. Amazon Warfare will be the killshot.
(Celeste and Io make gun gestures at The De Vils before walking away. Io grabs Yoshi-san and holds him close as they leave off camera. Niles and Season of Slaughter make their exit as well while staring down the tag champs. Tori and Roni cross their arms, realizing that they still had targets on their backs.)
(Revy is pacing back and forth in the locker room with her hands on her hips in frustration. She was angry about her disqualification in the Beat the Clock Challenge when the JET Business Woman approached her with a smile on her face.)
Revy: What are you happy about!? I freaking nearly had it! Damn Kylie flopping all over the place! I swear she was overselling the Recoil on purpose! Just to screw me over!
JET Business Woman: Revy-san. I have good news. I showed President Nakamoto-sama your match and requested that you represent LAW in the match against the IJWF Champion at Amazon Warfare!
Revy: You mean against that brat...uh Manami’s kid?
JET Business Woman: Yes, Natsu Toyama. Nakamoto-sama agreed and made the call to Madam Vega. So you now have a world title match.
(The JET Business Woman flashes a smile as Revy jumps up and down!)
Revy: I could kiss you right now! Ms. uh...what’s your name again?
JET Business Woman: It’s-
Revy: I GOTTA TELL APRIL!
(Revy storms out of the locker room, leaving the JET Business Woman shaking her head.)
No. 1 Contender's Match - IJWF Tag Team Championship
Smiles Protection Agency vs. Olga Petrov & Anna Clark
The two women then traded a blistering array of moves and holds with neither one slowing down until Clark was able to tag in Petrov at which point Smiles took a moment to reassure her partner that she was still good before the Russian powerhouse sold her on the reality of the situation when she managed to corner Smiles in one of the turnbuckle corners and started to unload on her with one Muay Thai knee strike after another in the corner until Smiles was ready in her opinion and she quickly transitioned her into a series of backbreakers to keep the smaller girl grounded and away from the SPA's side of the ring.
However Jessi Smiles knew what was at stake here and following an attempt to lock in a triangle choke, Smiles was able to almost slither her away out of the hold to which she was just barely able to tag in her partner who managed to hit a slingshot Clothesline from Hell onto Petrov as she came charging in to try and prevent the tag and then the taller and more experienced half of the SPA went to work on Petrov with the two powerhouses slowly getting into a very physical throw down before Samuels was able to slip behind her and she quickly locked in what people thought was going to be an elevated double chickenwing that Taylors quickly spun into a Guillotine Choke but before anything can be done with it, Clark came in and hit a double axe handle onto Samuels, breaking the hold.
At that moment, Petrov and Clark then started to double team Samuels but weren't really caring about doing much more than damage to the SPA's powerhouse that they didn't notice a blind tag by Smiles that the ref did and Smiles was able to send Petrov tumbling to the outside following a Diving Front Dropkick that allowed Samuels to set up Clark for the Protection Racket and then one three count later with the Smiles Protection Agency getting the three count!
Winners of the Match and Number One contenders to the IJWF Tag Team championships: The Smiles Protection Agency
(Lethal Angel Champion Roxy is standing backstage with 2020 Queen of the World winner Nixie Caine, preparing for their match.)
Roxy: I don’t see why people say we look alike. No disrespect, but we’re different made from a different kind of cloth.
Nixie Caine: No offense taken darling. But I have to say I’m happy to be teaming with the Lethal Angel Champion!
Female Voice: Soon to be FORMER champ, chica.
(Nixie and Roxy see Llorona walk towards them with the OWA Women’s World Championship on her shoulder.)
Llorona: It’s going to be really nice to be able to headline Lethal Hearts 3 and Final Destination in the same month. Say goodbye to that belt of yours, Baby Vendetta. I suggest you spend as much time with it as possible.
(Roxy smiles and shakes her head.)
Roxy: Do you realize how many women have threatened to take this belt off of me? They all failed one by one. What makes you think you’re any different? You went from being some scrub that jobbed to everyone and their momma around here to being gifted a world title match. I’m not surprised that April couldn’t finish the job as she’s allergic to world titles. But it won’t be the same result for me. And besides…
(Roxy flashed a smile.)
Roxy: It’ll be nice to be a TWO-TIME OWA Women’s World Champion.
(Llorona was about to take a swing at Roxy, but was stopped by Jasmine Peyton who arrived just in time with “Big Sexy” Santana and Frankie.)
Jasmine Peyton: Don’t stress yourself out too much. Conserve your energy. We got it from here.
(Jasmine smiles at Roxy and Nixie as she and her entourage walk away. Llorona keeps her eyes on Roxy who returns the same glare as her future opponent.)
Nixie Caine: A-holes like that are always trying to throw their weight around. Let’s turn tonight into a glitter party and show them what we’re about!
(Roxy smiles and pats Nixie on the shoulder.)
Roxy: I knew I'd like you.
(Both girls smile at each other and go on their way.)
Lethal Specialist Beat the Clock Challenge
Emmanuelle vs Melissa Flash
The young prodigy vs. the LAW legend. Emmanuelle took on Melissa Flash in another Beat The Clock Challenge match. This bout was different as it was more of a technical clinic despite the three-minute time limit. It was Emmanuelle in the beginning as she had control and looked to apply the POT but Flash was able to fight out of each attempt and fought back with strikes and suplexes. Flash herself had some close calls as she nailed a superkick that nearly got her the win against the young star. Melissa now looked for an Icon Kick but it was perfectly blocked and countered by The Silver Starlet who swept the leg, turning the veteran around and locking in the POT. Emmanuelle gets the submission win and sets a new time to beat for Liz Karlson and Ruby Auriel at 2:55.
Female Voice: It took two companies, a wrestling legend and a crooked fast counting referee to finally take the IJWF from around my waist, but at least I didn’t look as pathetic as Nina Sanada.
(The scene slowly fades into Kayla Winters sitting behind her desk atop the Winter’s Media headquarters.)
Kayla Winters: I may have lost, but I’m still sitting on top of the world. As I watched Nina struggle through her match, I honestly felt no sympanity for her at all, after all she was part of the plot that finally took me down, and I nearly puked every time Maki or Asuka called Nina a legend. I was wondering why everyone held her in such high regards, and it gave me a great sense of pride watching a former five time champion getting her ass kicked.
(Emma the family concubine entered and poured Kayla a drink and asked if she required anything, Kayla shooed her away. Kayla takes a sip of her scotch, then places the glass on her desk.)
Kayla Winters: Nina, honestly I hope after the beating you took at collision course you realize it's time for you to pack it and realize you can’t cut it anymore, because let's be honest Nina, you were done a long time ago, but you had to hang on for to long, and look how it turned out being carried out the arena by medical personnel, and as I stated earlier, I enjoyed watching you fail. Hopefully LAW can hold a funeral for your career and bury it once and for all, R.I.P.
(Kayla takes one final gulp of her scotch.)
Kayla Winters: Because if your dumb enough to come back, Someone it won’t medical personal taking you from the ring, it’ll be an undertaker.
(Kayla waves the concubine over.)
Kayla Winters: We’re done here.
(Kayla waves her hand and the screen fades to black.)
Lethal Specialist Beat the Clock Challenge
Ruby Auriel vs Liz Karlson
Ruby Auriel and Liz Karlson had a tough challenge ahead of them as either woman needed to win the match in less than 2:55. Ruby used any dirty tactics possible with multiple rolls ups while Karlson was putting on a great fast-paced performance. The former Lethal American Challenger almost had the win with a bridging German Suplex but Ruby kicked out. Ruby crawled towards a corner and used the turnbuckle to get herself up to her feet. Liz charged in for a corner splash but Ruby used the referee as a shield and kept herself safe. Ruby soon grabbed something from her attire pocket… it was some sort of powder as she tossed it in the face of Liz Karlson. She nailed Liz with a backdrop driver but she didn’t go for the pin and waited for Liz to get up to her feet. Auriel handsprings off the rope and connects perfectly with a Golden Bullet! The referee regained some senses and made the count as Ruby won the Beat The Clock challenge by crooked tactics with a time of 2 minutes and fifty-two seconds.
(Amber Payne walks into the General Manager's office to find Madam Vega looking over some documents.)
Madam Vega: You wanted to see me?
Amber Payne: Yeah. Mind if I get straight to the point?
Madam Vega: Sure.
(Amber closes the door behind her and walks towards the desk.)
Amber Payne: I’m feeling a little lost here. I’ve been one of the standout fighters here in LAW, but yet I don’t see myself on the card. What gives?
(Madam Vega nods a few times as if knew what this conversation was going to be about.)
Madam Vega: Well, we just came out of an interpromotional event, Amber. But if you wish to prove yourself, then I have an idea.
Amber Payne: What is it?
Madam Vega: One.
Amber Payne: Huh?
Madam Vega: Number one. You’re going to be the first one to enter Amazon Warfare. Imagine being the first woman in and the last one standing. If you want to prove yourself, that’s how you do it.
(Amber rubs her chin for a moment as she considers Madam Vega’s proposal.)
Amber Payne: If that’s what I need to do, then so be it. You can guarantee that I’m going to get another shot at the Lethal Angel Championship...no matter who’s holding the belt.
(Amber lightly knocks on Vega’s desk and strolls out of the office.)
Main Event
Jasmine Peyton & “Big Sexy” Santana w/ Llorona vs Roxy & Nixie Caine
The main event of the evening saw Nixie Caine and Lethal Angels Champion Sweet Roxy team up to face Jasmine Peyton and “Big Sexy” Santana. In a bit of a surprise, OWA Women’s World Champion La Llorona accompanied Peyton and Santana to the ring and she wasted little time antagonizing the top Champion of LAW, tauntingly holding up her own title and trying to goad her into a fight. Peyton and Santana were able to take advantage of Roxy being somewhat distracted by cutting off Nixie from her partner and battering her with tandem offense. At one point “Big Sexy” even used Jasmine as a projectile, launching her into a shoulder tackle. Every time Nixie tried to get going with some momentum she was cut off ruthlessly. As this was all playing out, Roxy and Llorona’s shouting and taunting each other continued. Their behavior was so heated the referee had to try to keep them separated, which made it easy for Santana and Jasmine to do some illegal double-team offense, highlighted by an assisted sit-out powerbomb from Santana onto a steel chair.
Nixie showed her persistence, refusing to be pinned and managing to survive an attempted camel clutch by Santana, hitting her with the Glitter Bomb (Forearm Strike to a kneeling opponent). Realizing she was too beaten up to finish off her opponent, she tagged in Roxy, who started to clean house. Jasmine and Santana were on the receiving end of some vicious offense from the Champ before Llorona made her presence felt once more, jumping on the apron to confront Roxy again. Roxy moved to strike but was cut off with a belly to belly suplex from “Big Sexy”. Peyton and Santana again took control, but Roxy was able to get out of one of their double teams and tagged in a reenergized Nixie. A blind tag turned the tide, however, and Peyton was able to sneakily take out Roxy off the apron and finish off a confused Nixie, who didn’t realize the tag had been made, with the Vanity Killer (Cross-legged Fisherman’s Driver) for the big tag team victory.
Winners: “Big Sexy” Santana and Jasmine Peyton (Pinfall, 14:48)
Post Match: Once the match was done and the winners had taken their leave, Llorona pounced, taking out both Nixie and Roxy with Sonora Destroyers. She stood over Roxy, who struggled to try to get back to her feet, and hit her with another conventional piledriver. The closing image of the night was the OWA Women’s World Champion picking up both the Lethal Angels Championship and her own title and standing over the fallen Roxy, her boot brushing over her barely moving head, shouting insults in Spanish as she held both titles up before tossing Roxy’s belt over her chest with a laugh.
