Episode 43: Lethal League Night 3
“Ghost Myself” from Diamante plays as LAW plays its intro. The camera moves to the interior of the arena where LAW commentators Monica Vaughan and Kat Ricci discuss the upcoming Block C matches for Lethal League. Monica also adds that the complete match card for Americana will be revealed. The camera crew then transitions to the ring for the opening match of the night.
Lethal League Block C Match
Jasmine Peyton vs Amanda Belnades
Jasmine and Amanda circle the ring. Belnades slips under Peyton for a rear waist lock, but Jasmine drills her in the side of the head with an elbow, knocking her down. Amanda quickly leaps up and drives a surprising knee to the back of Jasmine’s head. She stumbles forward and Amanda grabs her by the waist again and delivers a release German Suplex. Jasmine fights to get back up to his feet, but Amanda brings her back down with another German Suplex! She applies a bridge this time. Jasmine kicks out at two!
Amanda kips up and turns around, standing right back over to Jasmine. She drops a knee down onto Peyton’s temple and then reaches down to grab her head. She lifts her up to her knees and delivers a thunderous elbow into her collarbone, followed by several more strikes! Jasmine looks to be dizzy but strikes back, hitting Amanda’s throat. Belnades gasps for air as she gets up to her feet and walks away from Jasmine to try and catch her breath.
Jasmine whips her into the ropes and knocks her down with . She stumbles backwards into the ropes and, unintentionally, bounces right back into a second European uppercut which floors her. Jasmine rolls Amanda over onto her stomach and steps back, waiting for her to get up to her hands and knees. As she does, Jasmine goes for a stomp, but misses. She gets up to her feet. Peyton tries to capitalize, but Amanda blocks and counters with a chop across the chest. She tries to whip Jasmine who counters with one of her own and takes Amanda down on the rebound. She hits an inverted double-leg slam and transitions into Pretty Hurts (Bridging cross-legged Boston crab) for the submission victory!
Winner: Jasmine Peyton via submission
Backstage
Arisa Jojima and Sayuri “Thunder” Masuda are seen having a conversation about their upcoming match tonight. Both girls agreed that no matter how the match turned out they would remain partners and friends. Atsuko Godai, the newest member of the Princesses of Wrestling, appeared and was pleased to hear they were all on the same page. Arisa and Sayuri wished Atsuko luck in her upcoming match before she headed out to the ring.
Lethal League Block C Match
Liz Karlson vs Atsuko Godai
As Atsuko picks herself off the mat, Liz nails an Apple -> Tree (Knee lift/Spike Brainbuster combination). Ashe goes to lift Atsuko to inflict further punishment, Godai counters with a Small Package! Liz quickly kicks out but gets struck in the face by a knee strike. A groggy Liz tries to get back to her feet but Godai knocks her back down with a roundhouse the back of the head. Atsuko goes for another kick, but Liz blocks it and counters it into a Three Story Trip (Electric Chair Full Nelson Driver) for the victory!

Backstage
Revy approaches Sydney backstage to confirm about their Flag Match. Sydney inquires to Revy about which flag she’ll use. Revy smiles stating that she’ll be fighting for ‘Murica and reflects on how this will make her the “protagonist” of their match. Sydney agrees, stating that she’ll be using the Union Jack flag of her native United Kingdom. Revy makes a casual reference about how “being British” is so early 00s, followed by some obscure Austin Powers references. Just before Sydney leaves, Revy asks if she could accompany Sydney to the ring and be in her corner. When Sydney asked why, Revy just casually smiled and stated she didn’t want her “investment” to go to waste, adding how popular Sydney’s reign has become since Revy has been hosting her matches. Sydney just casually shrugs and says she’s fine with it, but remained perplexed when Revy skipped away smiling.
Lethal League Block C Match
Ruby Auriel vs Valerie Hendrix
This match started out with a back and forth tie-up that saw Ruby use the ropes to her advantage. This frustrated Valerie who started unleashing a series of strikes upon Ruby, forcing her into a corner. She attempts a Tornado DDT, but Ruby pushes her off and counters with a Reverse STO into the corner. Ruby pulls Valeries to the center of the ring and applies a Boston Crab. Hendrix tries to slip out, but Auriel transitions into a Came Clutch. Valerie’s screams signify that she’s at her breaking point, but she uses everything in her power to crawl towards the ropes. She reaches the ropes and grabs them, forcing Ruby to let go in frustration. Ruby grabs her for an Irish whip, but Valerie reverses and knocks Ruby down with a clothesline. Valerie picks her opponent up and takes her down with a bodyslam! As Valerie picks up Ruby, she tries to slow the match with some working holds, but Ruby pushes her into the ref and blows glitter into Valerie’s eyes. Hendrix waves her hands in front of her face, but is taken down with an Auriel Special (Backdrop Driver). This gives Ruby the momentum she needs to finish the match with Golden Impact (Double Underhook Piledriver)!

Backstage
Kayla Winters and Rebecca Brookes were discussing their upcoming match when Season of Slaughter manager Miles Larsen approached the women. He started off by complementing both women and their accomplishments, particularly the legacy Kayla Winters was making for herself. He then adds that despite their collective skill, they didn’t stand a chance at dethroning his “monsters”. He then added that Kayla would have to find another way to “seal the deal with Cloud Matsuda”. Satisfied with that last statement, Miles went about his way as Rebecca stared quizzingly at an annoyed Kayla, who wondered how Miles came about that information.
Lethal League Block C Match
Arisa Jojima vs Sayuri "Thunder" Masuda
Masuda pulls up Jojima into a standing position and unleashes a series of judo chops across the chest. She then flips her onto the canvas with a snapmare and applies a chin lock. Arisa struggles to break free and swings around for a roundhouse kick, but Masuda ducks and counters with a sit-out powerbomb! Sayuri keeps the shoulders down, but Arisa kicks out at two-and-a-half! Thunder lifts Arisa to her feet but Arisa pushes her away and lands a Pink Power (Superwoman Punch) across the face, followed by a cover! It’s Sayuri turn to kicks out halfway through two, and Arisa hits the mat in frustration. Arisa picks Sayuri up and the two resume trading blows back and forth, hyping up the crowd. Arisa seems to be getting the best of Sayuri and goes for another roundhouse but Sayuri ducks again and gets behind her for a Thunderclap Lariat (Wrist-lock Ripchord Lariat)! Keeping control of her wrist, Sayuri nails a second one and drops over Arisa’s unmoving body for the victory!
Winner: Sayuri “Thunder” Masudas via pinfall
Post-Match: After celebrating, Masuda picks her friend up from the canvas and embraces a stunned, but tearful Arisa. The two cry for a bit and leave the ring together, still the best of friends.
In-Ring
The camera opens to Madam Vega standing inside the ring with a mic in hand. There’s a table with two chairs and a table. Before introducing the competitors, Madam Vega announced the Block A matches for Americana:

- Revy vs Brenda Martin
- Wither Seede vs Misha LeCavalier
- Samara Crowe vs Daisy Thrash
Vega adds that these matches will be mixed in with the following championship matches:
- Roxy vs April Song - Lethal Angel Championship
- Misha LeCavalier vs Jessica Hendrix - Lethal American Championship
- Season of Slaughter vs Kayla Winters & Rebecca Brookes - Lethal Tag Team Championship
- Sydney St. Clair vs Revy - Lethal Specialist Championship
- Devi Krysis vs Atsuko Godai - Lethal Spark Championship
Vega acknowledges that this will be a tough challenge for those who are double booked, but reminded everyone that this was the real challenge of Lethal League. Without further ado, she introduced the champion and challenger of the Lethal Angel Championship Match. April Song came out with her Second Chance briefcase and handed it to Madam Vega who placed it on the table and took out the contract from its contents. Roxy came out with the Lethal Angel Championship and both women signed the contract after a small exchange of words. Before things got tense, Roxy left, with Sydney St. Clair and Revy emerging from the back for tonight’s main event. April didn’t waste any time to get herself ready.
Main Event
Lethal League Block C Match
Sydney St. Clair w/Revy!? vs April Song
The smug April looks at Revy at who is shrugging her shoulders. April rolls her eyes and locks-up with Sydney, resulting in Song escaping the hold and smacking Sydney across the face!. Syd gets heated and slaps April, who responds with a double leg takedown into a Prison Lock (Kneeling Figure Four ). Sydney finds herself in a bind, but manages to fight her way out. Unfortunately, the damage is already done, with St. Clair standing with shaky legs while wincing in pain. Sensing victory, April again shoots for his legs but Syd sidesteps and tosses Song through the ropes. Sydney’s not finished as she bounces off the ropes and flies through the ropes with She Soars! She Scores! (Suicide Dive), much to Revy’s excitement. This reaction confused both Sydney and April for a moment.
Sydney returned back to in-ring action and tried to roll April back into the ring, but Revy’s display of excitement was enough to give April a chance to recover and whip Syd into the steel stairs. She lifts Syd and drops her knee on the stairs before rolling her back into the riong, following suit. April hits a running Bee Stinger (double-foot stomp) and locks in a Triangle Choke. The referee runs over and checks on Syd who refuses to tap. Song keeps the hold locked in, but St. Clair lifts April in the air and slams her to the canvas with a powerbomb.
Syd stumbles against the ropes, hurt and exhausted from April’s submissions. April struggles to get to her feet and moves towards Syd who knocks her down with a surprise Koppu Kick! She follows up with a jumping senton lock in a crossface for a bit of payback! She clenches her teeth and pulls back with all of her strength into the hold as she leans backwards. He pulls Aiya’s head backwards as far as she possibly can. April starts screaming in pain as she fights to escape. The submission specialist finds a way to roll along the mat and reach the ropes, much to Revy’s dismay. The ref makes the count and Syd lets go of the hold, confused by Revy’s reaction. Syd leans over the ropes and asks Revy what's her deal. Revy responds by pointing behind Syd, but it’s too late! April pulls her away for a surprise rollup! Syd kicks out at two and dodges a roundhouse to hit a DDT!
As April struggles to get up, Sydney runs to the ropes for Aerial Ace (Springboard Cutter)! The audience gasps in shock as April catches her in midair with a sleeper hold and transitions into the Honeypot Special (Spider Neck Crank)! The audience starts going back and forth, some cheering for April, while others are cheering for Sydney! With the move applied dead center in the ring, Syd has no choice but to tap!
Winner: April Song via submission
Post-Match: April lets go of the hold and celebrates as Revy slides into the ring to check on Sydney. As April stares down at her friend in confusion, “Play Destroy” by Poppy plays as Roxy walks back out with the Lethal Angel Championship raised. A determined April looks on with narrowed eyes as Roxy stares at her from the stage, ever so defiant. April helps Roxy lift Sydney up and the two shake hands before Revy helps her future opponent out of the ring. April looks back on stage and sees Roxy walking to the back with a smirk on her face.
