JET 4: Korakuen Hall, Bunkyo, Tokyo, Japan
A recap from last week’s episode plays featuring the return of Stephanie Matsuda, the successful title defenses of both Tomoyo Hirate against Kimiko Hayabusa and LUMINOID’s match against Vanessa Santiago and Virginia Atwood before they are challenged by Azumi Goto for a match at Sakura Blooming. The intro of JET plays as we see our commentators ready to go and our first match of the night is about to begin.
MATCH 1: Kimiko Hayabusa vs. Ai Moe
In a matchup between two fresh faces of JET’s Academy title division and a rematch from two weeks ago. Kimiko was able to get a victory against the same woman she lost. It was all going Kimiko’s way but a missed Hip attack and the fight spilling to the outside gave Moe the advantage. The two fought around the ring in before Ai hit the AV Blitz combination and is able to get her opponent. Though it didn’t finish the match, it shifted the momentum of the match to the side of Ai. The match continued on with Kimiko and Ai trading shots, but Ai this week was more prepared as she was able to handle Kimiko’s offense a lot better than two weeks ago. Kimiko would fight back and even land the Hayabusa Hammer (Springboard Forearm) but was eventually rolled up by Ai who got the three count with that finish.
(Winner - Ai Moe)
As Ai Moe is celebrating her win, we see Kimiko confronting Ai and having a stare down but that it’s soon interrupted by the theme of Yoko Kudo, who comes out with a microphone impressed at the performance of both ladies.
Yoko Kudo: Now I think Korakuen Hall is impressed with your performances these last few weeks, Ladies. I definitely am impressed. Now if we look at the results, Kimiko has one win and Ai has one win. So how this Ladies, Ai Moe vs. Kimiko Hayabusa III at Sakura Blooming? This will be your biggest stage till now to show your talents. Are you up for it?
Both Ai and Kimiko look at each other before looking back at Yoko Kudo and nodding at the idea of one more match to which the crowd cheer in approval.
Yoko Kudo: Well it’s settled! The last match of this best of three will take place at Ryogoku Sumo Hall! Ai Moe vs. Kimiko Hayabusa III in front of an estimated 9,000!
Both women look at one another just before the camera cuts to commercial.
{COMMERCIAL BREAK}
We return from commercial as it’s video package featuring the newest acquisition of JET. Not just this week’s debutants but all of the newcomers who have already made their mark on JE. A focus on the unity shown by Candice Blair, Vanessa Santiago and Virginia Atwood, the return of Nina Sanada and young flashes of potential shown by Yuki, Kimiko, Momoko, and Ai. We soon transition to the two debutants, Kyoko Watanabe and Midori Miyamoto.
Narrator: Tonight. Two new talents make attempt to make their mark on JET in their debut match. Young bright stars of tomorrow are arriving left and right.
Clips of Midori Miyamoto are shown featuring some of her most impressive maneuvers, her entrance, and her personality.
Narrator: First is Midori Miyamoto from Sacramento, California. Trained at MotorMouth Wrestling School and Zero/FOUR, she brings an impressive arsenal of Suplex, strikes, and submissions. We just have to wait and see if that can help her rise to the top of JET.
We transition to clips of Kyoko Watanabe next, showcasing her smiling before she starts kicking her opponents and hitting her signature maneuvers.
Narrator: Next is Kyoko Watanabe. Don’t let her smile and candy loving personality get the better of you, she’s a sweet girl with an even sour kick. A graduate of the JET Dojo, which means she has been taught by some of the best this promotion has ever had.
Both women are staring down at one another while Momoko Honda in the center.
Narrator: Both women have a chance to start on a winning note but in front of them is another young star. Who will claim victory in this showcase of tomorrow’s stars? The match itself is next.
MATCH 2: Momoko Honda vs. Midori Miyamoto vs. Kyoko Watanabe
Three of these young talents are showcasing their talents as each one of them showing their signature moves to each other to grab the crowd's attention while they are indeed starting to grab the crowd's hearts with their moves. We see now Momoko is getting her upper hand by giving her two opponents her signature kicks while Kyoko and Midori are on her knees. Momoko is putting Kyoko down with her last harder kick but when she goes after Midori, she grabs Momoko's leg and spins her with a Dragon Screw, hitting her hard to the mat. Kyoko starts to get up and attack Midori from behind, eventually throwing her out of the ring. While Kyoko is focusing on Midori, Momoko is already standing by, waiting for Kyoko to turn around. As she's turning around, Momoko grabs Kyoko by her hands as she hits Earth Quaker (Cross-Armed Neckbreaker) and she hooks up the leg to take a pin but out of nowhere, three individuals wearing a half-mask ambushing both Momoko and Kyoko inside the ring. Midori decided to step up and help but ended up getting attacked anyway.
(Winner - n/a)
One person put Momoko on her feet and hits a Half-nelson Cradle. The other one is waiting for Midori to stand as she hits a Spinning Headlock Lariat to her. And the last one is pulling Kyoko's hair and hits a Vertical Spike Brainbuster.
Maki Fujioka: Who are they and how dare they interrupting all these girls' amazing match?
Hanako Nakamoto: I think I know.... looking at their moves, they are JUNKO and Saiko Hotaru. But who's the other one?
The trio takes off their masks and shows their faces to the crowd. They are JUNKO and Saiko Hotaru but in the middle is someone unfamiliar. She takes a microphone and begins to speak.
KAGUYA: I am KAGUYA! I have been summoned by my two old friends that this place needs somebody to unleash a chaos upon it. I am here to lay waste all these ladies with thousand dreams of being a hero to all of you and I will crush all of their dreams! HEROES ARE DEAD AND WE'LL MAKE SURE THERE WILL BE NO HERO BORN IN THIS PLACE!!
KAGUYA drops her mic as these three ladies raising their hands while Momoko, Kyoko, and Midori are down in front of them. The scene then moves at the backstage as we see Yuki Sakaraba is getting interviewed.
Yuki Sakaraba: Yes, This is my first time returning to Japan as I picked JET as my first company to stay because this place looks really promising indeed. We have talents from around the world, all background, various experiences which I really tempted to challenge myself. My own experience? Oh, glad you ask me! I've been wrestling all around the world... Time and space if you ask me, hehe.... and I have faced most of the wrestlers. Rookies, veterans, male, female, nihonjin, gaijin. I faced them all. And I also win so many championships on my resume. I have...
We hear someone clapping their hands in the distance. The camera goes to the right side and we see Virginia Atwood is approaching Yuki.
Virginia Atwood: Oh, Finally I found an English-speaking Japanese person around here. I thought I am gonna lost in the woods with these aliens. So, I think this is the right moment for me to finally speak because somebody is actually understood what I am talking about. You know what, miss.... whatever, I do not even bother to pronounce your name. I am here to look at the best Japanese wrestler to fight because I hate all those Japanese wrestlers who think that when they step into the American soil, they think they already succeed. No, People like you are nothing in America and I'll show you American is better at invading somebody else's place for power. I'll show it to you, Space Cadet! You think you're tough, huh?
Virginia is pointing at Yuki as she can't stand on the disrespect shown by the blonde lady. She lays her hand on Virginia's face and slaps her.
Yuki Sakaraba: Try me.
Yuki's hard is going so hard, Virginia turns her head around. She rubs her cheek, can't believe that Yuki just slapped her.
Virginia Atwood: You Bitch!!
The fight finally breaks as Virginia attacks Yuki while Yuki is trying to defend herself. They keep attacking each other until several officials trying to break her apart. They keep trying to attack each other even some officials separate them both. The fight keeps on going until the screen fades to black
{Commercial Break hyping Sakura Blooming.}
SEMI-MAIN: Mitra Marvel vs. Candice Blair
A showcase between two impressive foreign workers of JET. Mitra Marvel has gotten the love of the fans behind her with her lovable personality and hard work, meanwhile, Candice Blair has become a heat magnet for JET. Defeating fan favorites and now can build on her impressive unbeaten streak in JET with a win over a fellow American. The match starts out with a feeling out process, a slow and more methodical pace with lots of lockup to gain the early advantage before the pace of the match quickened. Candice was able to get the advantage by landing a HUGE Candy Kick (Shoot Kick) to Mitra but fan favorite was able to power out and continue going. Mitra was then able to get the match in her side with a Golden Hour (Discus Big Boot). The back-and-forth continued as by the time that the finishing stretch of the match was starting, the Solar Senshi attempts to go for the Solar Flare (Lifting Single Underhook Brainbuster) but as she locks in the arm, we see Virginia get on the apron to distract the ref while Mitra is still going for the Solar Flare but she’s not aware that Santiago is behind her and that allows her to hit Mitra Marvel with a Cuban Missile Crisis (Jumping Switch Kick) to the back of the head. Mitra is definitely shaken from the kick to the side of her head as this allows Candice to take advantage and hit her opponent with a Candy Crush (Double Knee Facebreaker). With a three count and the numbers advantage, Candice Blair continues her impressive record.
(Winner - Candice Blair)
As ‘Mic Drop’ by BTS is playing, we see Atwood and Santiago both join Candice in the ring to celebrate on a job well done while the Korakuen crowd aren’t happy at all. Meanwhile, you can see Mitra Marvel, looking back but isn’t worry about Candice right now as she’s being helped out by the young girls.
Maki Fujioka: And Candice Blair steals a win from Mitra Marvel! If it wasn’t for Santiago and Atwood, the match would have definitely been Mitra’s win.
Hanako Nakamoto: Cry me a river, Maki! Did you see the unity between the trio? That was amazing, both Santiago and Atwood knew when to intervene without getting caught and that brutal kick from Santiago. This is definitely isn’t just Candice’s win but it’s the trios win!
Candice confidently looks at the hard camera and smirks towards it before she starts to mouth to Tomoyo who isn’t here tonight.
Candice Blair (off-mic): Were you watching Tomoyo?! You better have been because this unity is gonna be your demise at Sakura Blooming!
Santiago and Atwood both raise one of Candice’s arms as the camera cuts to commercial.
{Commercial Break}
We return from commercial as we see pictures of the legendary Miss Manami inside the JET Dojo, we can see two young girls next to her listening to every word. Those two are, of course, Azumi Goto and Stephanie Matsuda. Soon we see them both as young girls in the Dojo but Manami is still close by them both. Another transition to the two of them splitting off on their own path, with Azumi becoming tag champion while Matsuda is climbing the ranks and captures the JET World Championship. We continue to see their split away as Cloud has left JET to join EAW while Azumi is left in JET as she soon becomes JET World Champ only to vacate it and leaves for America.
Narrator: The Goddess once trained two young girls who she saw unlimited potential in. One was a foreigner with Japanese blood while the other was a young Okinawan willing to do anything to become a wrestler. Both had the aspiration to become great and the Goddess took both girls under her wing. Azumi Goto and Stephanie Matsuda were given their big break as wrestlers and under the watchful eye of their mentor. After two years of being in JET, they would both split off to make their mark in wrestling.
Pictures of Azumi and Stephanie during their time in America are shown with Matsuda becoming a world champ and Azumi continuing to hone her craft as both a wrestler and a trainer.
Narrator: When the world was shocked that Miss Manami announced her retirement, it was her two proteges that took JET from her.
Pictures are now changing with Azumi taking the role as JET’s leader while Stephanie Matsuda continues her conquest of Women’s Wrestling.
Narrator: Even having gone through everything the rivals respected one another and now come together for one of the biggest matches in JET’s history. The War Queen and The Almighty Empress come together for the first time in nearly two years, Azumi Goto and Stephanie Matsuda, two women who are dubbed as the ‘Daughters of Manami’ will be at Sakura Blooming to challenge for JET Tag Team Championship against LUMINOID at Sakura Blooming.
The segment soon ends showing the match card of LUMINOID vs. Azumi Goto and Stephanie Matsuda as we soon return to ringside for tonight’s main event of BIANCA vs. Spider Kagura.
MAIN EVENT: BIANCA vs. Spider Kagura (with Nina Sanada and Natsu Toyama)
Just a week plus before their JET World Title clash at Ryogoku. BIANCA is set to face Nina Sanada’s close ally and tag partner, Spider Kagura. The match begins calm and slow with Spider getting the early advantage to the surprise of everyone. The match is in her favor is getting flash pin attempts to get the win. BIANCA is able to shift the moment on her side with a bicycle kick right to the face of Spider. The match resumes as the cocky JET Champion is taunting Nina Sanada who’s at ringside, this was a bad thing for BIANCA as Spider is able to hit a big boot to the back of BIANCA which gets the advantage on her side. Kagura spends the next couple of minutes trying to wear down the JET World Champion but BIANCA is able to fight out and begins to fire off some forearms to Spider. The two women get into a striking contest to an approval from the Korakuen crowd. They continue to trade shots back and forth with the crowd behind the champ, BIANCA is able to dodge one of Kagura’s forearm shots, rushes to the ropes and back to her opponent to flatten her with a Spear! BIANCA attempts to finish Spider off with a Stay Dream (Death Valley Driver) but Spider is able to counter that with elbow shots getting out before trying to set up for an Air Raid Crash, the same move she innovated but BIANCA is able to counter that with Crucifix! A two-count only but as both women get up, Spider is met with a knee lift right to her face which gets her down. BIANCA tells Nina to watch before rushing to the ropes and hitting the Cartwheel Knee Drop and properly ends the match with another Stay Dream attempt which is successful this time! The Death Valley Driver hits and puts away Spider down for good.
(Winner - BIANCA)
While Let Go by MIYAVI plays, you can see Natsu and Nina enter the ring, and while the young girl of this trio checks up on Spider. We see Nina staring down her opponent for Sakura Blooming who is confidently raising her JET World Title in front of The Monarch.
Maki Fujioka: One last staredown on JET Weekly show between the two women as they look each other down.
Hanako Nakamoto: This is it! JET’s last show of the tour before Sakura Blooming and here is the final moment. Two women who both want to be JET World Champion at the end of that night are staring each other down. We’ll see you all at Sakura Blooming, Ladies and Gentlemen! Till then I’m ‘Ironheart’ Hanako Nakamoto and this is my commentary partner, Maki Fujioka! Have a great night to everyone watching!
The final shot of tonight’s show is BIANCA and Nina continuing their staredown while a couple of young girls tries them to stay away from another as the WWA and JET Logos are shown!
