"The greatest trick the devil ever pulled..."
The scene begins in a small, closed off gym that looked like it has been empty for years. Punching bags, weights and benches filled the room and in the middle of it all stood a semi rusty looking squared circle. A boxing ring. It was old with faded painted corners and a ripped up mat. A few turnbuckle covers were missing but other then that? It was usable to say the least. The camera scans the room once before it lands on a Hooded figure standing near the ring. Nothing but a smile can be seen from her face as she begins to speak, not looking away from the ring in from of her. “Do you see this ring? This old, tattered, ripped up ring that looks like at any moment it could fall apart?” The Hooded figure places their pale hands on the mat before reaching up for the red ropes, punching themselves up onto the apron and climbing into the ring;. “Well it's my stompin’ grounds. My home. I grew up between these very ropes you see before you tonight. I have bled on this mat. Night after night, day in and day out; since I was fourteen years old...but I wasn’t training to be what I am today, no. I was training to follow in my Father’s footsteps and become a Boxer. Yeah, I was trained by a Boxing legend: My father; Glenn ‘The Devil’ Monroe. He showed me the way of this ring and how to control every man or woman who step inside it with me. I became something more than what I was but I needed to go and become my own being. Something more than The Devil’s Daughter.” The Hooded Figure pulls over their hood, revealing a ginger haired woman. Her smile slowly changes into a wicked smirk; “So here I am. Fresh out of Madam Vega’s Wrestling School for Girls. Oh and my name? Its Roni. Roni De Vil. I am the Queen of Hawthorne Heights. The Goddess of Suburbia and the woman with the deadliest kicks that has EVER graced a ring. Unlike most of the so called wrestlers, I was molded to become something more the great. I was made to BE THE BEST between these rings and at LAW’s PPV, where I will be debuting; I’m going to prove that to everyone that I put the Lethal in Lethal Angels of Wrestling. See, I may be new to the world. I may be young and cocky unlike the woman I am facing off against but I have skills and a mindset years ahead of myself. I was hand picked by Madam Vega and with that chip on my shoulder, I’m going to do everything in my power to break this bitch---And that bitch is you; Miho Yamazaki.” Roni chuckles to herself, leaning her arms on the top rope as she looks down at the camera, “Miho, let me tell you fist hand that once we meet in the ring, none of the shit you have done will matter. Nothing. Not the people you have beat or the championships you may have won in the past. Once that bell rings, the end is already there for you. You had your time in the ring. You had your fun. It time for the NEW generation to take over and I will start that war by first knocking you out. I came here to win and you can bet your ass,I’m not going to bow to a woman like you, Miho.” De Vil goes quiet for a moment, getting lost in thought for only a moment, "‘Never bow to someone you know you can beat, Ro.’ My father always told me that. He also always told me to be five steps ahead of my opponent and always keep my eyes on theirs. And ya know...when I was younger, I wondered what he meant by that...that is, till I watched my first fight of his. God, the look in their eyes when they saw the Devil appear in front of them...the look of pure fear. I want that power and soon I'll have it. I say that because I have a feeling that's what I will be seeing in your eyes when I come at you with everything I have, Miho. See, like my father in the boxing ring for eighteen years; I’m going to fight and I’m going to win. Now its not me being cocky, no. Its me telling you what's going down on Sunday.” Roni pulls her hood over her head again, “And come Homecoming, Miho, the world is going to see that its De Vil’s time to shine but too bad for you you won’t be conscious to witness it. Oh well, let the head rolling begin.” With that, Roni De Vil smirks one last time before sliding out of the rusted remains of the ring she stood in; leaving the camera’s view as the scene fades to black. Ending it.
"...was convincing the world he didn't exist."
