So close.
So close to being LAW Champion. So close until the Minor Era becomes a reality. All that stands in the way is one opponent. One woman who thinks that she will bring the championship back to Brooklyn and to her teacher, Stephanie Matsuda. I’m talking about you, Serenity. Shockingly enough, you were someone who was able to surpass the competition that was placed right in front of her. As I had visions of myself being placed in the finals, I never expected you to be the woman placed right in front of me. I don’t think much people had faith that you would make it past the first round of the tournament let alone finding her place in the finals. Me? I was a shoo-in for the finals. I was the woman who dominated her side of the bracket. Women like Sidney Knight and Daisy Thrash had no chance of going through me. A woman who has been undefeated since the moment she walked through these LAW doors. I have yet to experience failure and that is not going to happen at Homecoming. This is the most important match in my professional wrestling career. This is a moment in which I had busted my ass off for years to get too. You think that I am going to throw it all away all causally? No! That would be the most idiotic thing that I can do. Hell, that should be the last thing that I should do. The stakes are the highest it’s ever been for me. My motivation is at an all-time high. My desire to become LAW Champion continues to get bigger and bigger. There is no force in this company that is going to be enough to stop me. Serenity Scorpio comes from a prestigious family. Her father was one of the all-time greats. Wrestling is in her blood, but being a champion is in my DNA. It might be odd coming from a woman who came from nothing. A woman who nearly had to sell herself in order to provide for her family and wrestling school. Why would LAW want me as the face of their promotion? Odds are, they don’t. I’m used to not being wanted. I’m used to having to bust open my own door of opportunities. I’m used to making people notice me. Serenity, you’re the safer choice. You were trained by the Undisputed EAW Women’s World Champion. You were poised to be one of the faces of LAW. You are the perfect choice to be the face of this promotion, but I cannot allow that to happen. I cannot allow myself to watch that happen. I refuse to experience failure. I refuse to let this chance slip me by due to one mistake on my part. My perfect record will not go to dust with this match. It will continue to flourish as I make my mark of being one of the best wrestlers this promotion has ever seen. My mission has started day one, but people will begin to believe it at Homecoming. I’m here to win. I’m here to take my rightful place as LAW Champion.
