“Episode 4: The Minor Era”
(A recap of Homecoming is shown. The Lethal Angels Tag Team Championship Match with The Knight Dynasty and The Dynamic Duo is shown with the Knight Dynasty retaining and standing tall. The No Disqualification for the Lethal Specialists Championship is seen with Jocelyn Sky and McKenzie Hoyte. The surprising result with Jocelyn winning is seen and McKenzie looking heartbroken outside the ring. The number one contender’s match for the LAW Championship is shown with Jasmine Peyton, Daisy Thrash, Lieta Collins and Tiffany Santana is shown with Jasmine Peyton getting the victory. Lastly, it goes to the LAW Championship tournament finals with Miranda Minors and Serenity Scorpio fighting with their all and Miranda connecting with Leslie’s Wild Ride for the victory. The last shot is with Miranda holding up with LAW Championship.)
(“I Am The Fire” -- Halestorm plays as the introduction of Lethal Angels of Wrestling is shown. The last clip is with Miranda Minors and the LAW Championship up in the air. Afterward, the camera is panned to ringside to a sold-out crowd in the Civic Auditorium in Santa Monica, California!)
Kat Ricci: We are hot from a kick-ass Homecoming! Welcome to Monday Night LAW! I am the lovely Kat Ricci and right beside me is the wonderful, Melissa Flash!
Melissa Flash: You’re totally right, Kat! We are hot from Homecoming where we have two newly crowned champions! Jocelyn Sky managed to overcome McKenzie Hoyte in the No Disqualification Match and become Lethal Specialists Champion!
Kat Ricci: Also, history was witnessed at Homecoming when Miranda Minors became the inaugural LAW Champion after defeating Serenity Scorpio! Tonight is the start of the Route 66 Tour and in the main event you will find Lieta Collins taking on one-half of the Lethal Angels Tag Team Champions, Avery Knight! But, first, let’s have a word with our new LAW Champion!
(“Children of the Son” -- Pipe Choir plays as the crowd begins booing at the start of the song. From the curtains, Miranda Minors comes out in street clothes consisting of black ripped skinny jeans, a white crop top and a red and black flannel. On her waist, the LAW Championship appears shining from all the lights. Miranda has a huge grin on her face, still feeling the high from her win at Homecoming.)
Natasha Night: Ladies and gentlemen, please welcome at this time, the NEW LAW CHAMPION, MIIIIIIIIIIIRAAAAAAAAANNNNNNDDDDDAAAAAAAA MIIIIIIINNOOOOOOOOORSSSSSSS!!
Kat Ricci: Ladies and gentlemen, Miranda Minors is your LAW Champion. She manages to win the entire tournament to determine the inaugural LAW Champion. She defeated Serenity Scorpio in the finals of the tournament at Homecoming!
Melissa Flash: Such a history-making night for this young woman from the Bronx. This twenty-one-year-old managed to overcome an eight-person tournament to crown the inaugural LAW Champion. She managed to do something that not much people thought she was capable of doing. She did all of that and is still undefeated in LAW.
Kat Ricci: 4-0 in LAW! How many women can say that?
(Miranda Minors is in the center of the ring as she pulls the LAW Championship from her waists, gets on the turnbuckle and raises it up in the air. When that happens, black and purple pyros go firing off into the air. After the last spark goes off, Miranda gets down and places the LAW Championship on her shoulder and a microphone in her hand.)
(The crowd begins to boo again. Some are applauding her, but the boos overpower it. Miranda stands in the center of the ring as she is seen getting emotional.)
Miranda Minors: This is all I could ever want.
(Miranda pauses as she looks down, almost getting choked up on her words. The crowd applause and cheers for her. A “You Deserve It” chant breaks out from the crowd as Miranda looks up with a small smile.)
Miranda Minors: I grew up with nothing. I spent my entire life trying to reach this pinnacle of my career so far and to just being shown the love and support of the LAW fans is surreal. I could never imagine being so loved…
(Miranda’s voice begins to crack as she stops speaking as the crowd continues to applaud her.)
Miranda Minors: I look at this reception and all I can think is…
YOU ALL MAKE ME FUCKING SICK!
(The crowd begins to boo her once again as Miranda looks at the crowd in the most irritated way, before chuckling.)
Miranda Minors: We you all expecting some sappy speech about a woman like myself growing up with nothing and becoming something? Were you all expecting some boring lecture about how you should “believe in yourself” and all of that crap that you’ve been fed since the day you were born? I am glad to look at you pathetic people and say that I never changed who I was to appease people. It’s 20fucking18. Pieces of scum myself are on top of the wrestling world. Don’t believe me? Look at Elite Answers Wrestling. You see 2/4 World Champions are pieces of scum like myself. Shout out to Diamond Cage and Darkane for keeping it real. You make this piece of scum real proud. I am lucky to say that I did this on my own. I had to make my own connections. I had to build my own relationships. I had to build this fucking self-brand from the ground up. The pay off so far? The Minor Era is born. The Minor Era isn’t a cute era to call this long as title reign because I’m going to carry this title for a long fucking time. There is no one from the fucking back that can touch me in and out of this ring. Who knows? I’ll eventually become bored of being LAW Champion and decide to get some “elite answers” to where I go with my wrestling career. Who knows? You might find me on Empire one day. Oh yes, if you’re watching this Stephanie, keep that title warm for me because I plan to take it one day --
(“I’ll Be” -- Foxy Brown plays as Jasmine Peyton walks out from the curtain into the sea of boos from the LAW fans.)
Kat Ricci: Here is a woman who overcame three other women to become the number one contender for the LAW Championship! Jasmine Peyton is a woman who, along with Lieta Collins have made sure that they are not screwed of any other victories or suffer any injustices in LAW.
Melissa Flash: It seems like Jasmine’s alliance with Lieta has paid off. It has gotten her a chance to be LAW Champion.
(Jasmine Peyton stands in the middle of the ring with a microphone in her hand.)
Jasmine Peyton: Wow, Miranda. That was such a “lovely” speech from you. I can’t imagine how worse it would have gotten if I didn’t come out to interrupt. Like, yikes...On a serious note, I just wanted to come out an congratulate you on becoming LAW Champion. You are such a lovely second choice for these people when it came to who they wanted as champion. Yes, I say the second choice because there is no denying if I advanced more in this tournament, I would have won.
Miranda Minors: Wait…(thinks)...You’re the one that got eliminated in the first round of that tournament? Yikes, I cannot imagine how pissed you are that you didn’t end up being the very first LAW Champion. Despite having the looks, education and wealth behind you, you still left this tournament with nothing. Me? I came in with nothing and I walked away with more than you did, Jasmine.
(Miranda raises the LAW Championship up in the air as Jasmine looks at it.)
Jasmine Peyton: I’m here to change all of that. I’m here to amend all the wrongs that I have faced so far into my run LAW. Homecoming was the first step in making everything right with Jasmine Peyton. The next step is taking that championship away from you. The Minor Era will be short-lived, sweetheart. I am making sure that it is.
Miranda Minors (laughs and circles around Jasmine): Good luck with that, Jasmine. You are going to be such a great first successful title defense for me. I mean, who would have thought Scott Oasis would better one out of the two of you?
(The crowd goes “ooooh” as Miranda laughs, drops the mic and leaves the right. “Children of the Son” plays back up. On the ramp, Miranda raises the LAW Championship up in the air. Jasmine looks at Miranda with a serious expression on her face while Miranda is seen smirking and keeping the title up and high.)
Kat Ricci: Miranda Minors is not playing, but she may be underestimating Jasmine Peyton. Jasmine is way more than her looks and wealth.
Melissa Flash: This is going to be a very interesting title match when it happens.
(A scene transitions to black as a crackling is heard in the background.)
: My name is Heather Graves and I’m from Milwaukee, Wisconsin.
(The scene gets clear as you can finally see the woman’s appearance.)
Heather Graves: I love violence. I love everything to do with violence. It gives me the rush I need to perform so well in wrestling. If you thought LAW was a typical show to sit down and watch with your mom, then you are sadly mistaken. I am here to change all of that.
(Scenes of Heather moving around and acting casual are seen in a rapid light. This almost gives her an eerie feeling to her.)
Heather Graves: I’m here to cause havoc. I am here to raise a little mayhem in this company and most importantly, I’m here to become champion. But, who can’t say that we can cause a little trouble along the way (crackles)?
(Scene transitions to a cemetery where graves for women such as Miranda Minors, The Knight Dynasty, Jocelyn Sky and Daisy Trash are seen with their names on their tombstone.)
Heather Graves: I’m aware that I am going to need to dig some graves along the way, but I could care less. It’s just another day at the job for me. Watch out, ladies because this gravedigger here to collect some bodies.
(The scene fades as it transitions to two women sitting next to each other in a confessional room. Both have smiles on their faces as they look at the camera.)
: I’m Vivina Wolfe.
: I’m Bethany Sharpe.
Both: And, we are Wolfegang Symphony!
(“Roundtable Rivals” -- Lindsey Stirling is heard in the background as behind the scenes shots are seen of both Vivina and Bethany.)
Vivina Wolfe: How I would describe Bethany is that she doesn’t give a f--k. I admire that so much about her. I think it is one of the reasons why we are best friends. It does not matter what she is doing. She will make you believe that she is doing the right thing. There is no changing her mind when she sets something to what she believes in.
Bethany Sharpe: How I would describe Vivina is that she is the rudest person I have ever met.
(The music stops in a dramatic pause as Vivina Wolfe gives Bethany Sharpe a look like she was hurt by the comment.)
Vivina Wolfe: Wow, Bethany...that is the best thing you have ever said about me!
(Vivina Wolfe squeals as she gives Bethany Sharpe a hug as “Roundtable Rivals” plays back up again.)
Bethany Sharpe: You see, I can say that about her and she doesn’t cry about it. She knows that she’s rude. She knows that she’s crude and that’s why I love to call her my best friend.
Vivina Wolfe: There is no one in LAW that can compare to our friendship. There is no one with as big of a bond as Wolfegang Symphony! Teams like The Dynamic Duo and The Knight Dynasty? We are best friends. We are a family. We are future Lethal Angels Tag Team Champions. Better watch out, LAW.
Bethany Sharpe: Wolfegang Symphony gonna hit you with a sharp note.
Vivina Wolfe: Love the pun there.
(Vivina Wolfe and Bethany Sharpe high-five one another before it pans back to the ring.)
Tag Team Match
Heather Graves & Roni De Vil vs Wolfgang Symphony
The opening bell rings and Heather Graves and Vivina Wolfe start things off for their respective teams. Vivina looks put off by Heather’s eagerness. The two lock-up and Graves throws several forearms to the face, following with a snap suplex! Vivna avoids several attempted stomps and isolates herself in the corner where she puts her hands up, telling the ref to get Heather to back off. Graves grins at her opponent and goes for a running knee strike, but Vivina avoids by sliding out of the ring! Heather climbs out to the apron and collides into Wolfe with a cannonball! Bethany Sharpe and Roni De Vil both jump off the apron and go after one another! Roni hits a running front dropkick square in the chest of Bethany Sharpe! Meanwhile Heather attempts to throw Vivina against the barricade, but she reverses and Heather finds herself whipped into the steel guard herself!
Melissa Flash: It’s pandemonium out here! This is a little too close for comfort as Graves and Wolfe are going to war right next to us! Meanwhile, Roni De Vil is all over Bethany Sharpe!
Sharp finds herself running away from De Vil, who gives chase! Vivina starts stomping on a seated Heather, but she pushes off her legs and starts firing off a set of rapid elbow strikes! Vivina is backed up against the apron, stunned from the assault! Heather throws Wolfe back into the ring and slides in before she’s counted out. Heather grabs Vivina, but she fights back, striking the mid-section! She lands a big boot on Heather and makes to tag to Bethany! Heather is back on her feet- quick DDT! Kick to the gut by Bethany! She picks up Heather and whips her to the corner! She charges to the ropes next to her opponent, springboards, and grabs Heather's arm for the arm drag! Heather scrambles back to her feet and charges- back body drop counter into the facebreaker knee smash, and Heather goes stumbling back into her team’s corner. Roni tags herself in and jumps over the ropes! She catches Bethany with a slow dropkick and follows up with a switchblade kick to the back!
Kat Ricci: Roni De Vil has quickly turned things back around for her team! Let’s see if they can capitalize!
Roni picks up Bethany by the hair and flips her over with a snapmare. She hits the ropes and nails a Silver Bullet II (Running big boot to a kneeling opponent) to the face. She starts pumping her fist and winks at her boyfriend/manager Damien Grimm who’s standing ringside. She hits the ropes and lands a jumping double knee drop to Sharpe’s mid-section. She sets up the standing moonsault double knees, but Bethany rolls her up with a schoolgirl! Roni kicks out at two and finds herself on the receiving end of a Counterpoint (Standing shiranui). Bethany tags in Vivina who races across the ring and catches Heather Graves off-guard with a running big boot! Bethany picks up Roni and hits her Opening Number (Back suplex spun into a spin-out powerbomb). While she climbs the nearest turnbuckle, Vivina lifts Roni into the electric chair position. Bethany measures her opponent and leaps off for the Massacre in B Major (Electric Chair Facebuster (Wolfe) & Diving Cutter (Sharpe)) for the three count victory!
Melissa Flash: What a finish! They were on the ropes for a while, but Wolfegang Symphony has demonstrated their tag team supremacy! Heather Graves looks extremely upset! Bethany Sharpe and Vivina Wolfe escape the ring, but continue their celebration on stage!
(PRE-RECORDED. Serenity Scorpio is dressed in regular clothes, holding up her phone)
Serenity Scorpio: Hi everyone! I’m here with Tiffany Santana!
(Serenity moves her phone to show Tiffany, who pushes the camera away)
Serenity Scorpio: She’s just feeling a little bit of jet-lag at the moment! We are here in Japan for the RISE GP! YAAAAAAAAY!
Tiffany Santana: Ugh, will you stop?
Serenity Scorpio: wIlL yOu StOp!? Come on, Tiff! Me, this one, and our newly crowned Lethal Specialist Champion Jocelyn Sky will be representing LAW in the JET’s RISE event! The Daughters of Matsuda are here to slay!
Tiffany Santana: By the way, I was her FIRST student!
Serenity Scorpio: But I’m the best (cheesy smile).
Tiffany Santana: Uh huh, keep dreaming.
Serenity Scorpio: Anyways, see you all soon! Mwah!
(Serenity blows a kiss as the camera fades)
(The scene pans to the shady streets of Mexico. These streets are owned by one of the best drug cartel families in Mexico, the Sonora Cartel. More spots of the streets are shown as the camera finally pans to a woman with a bandana covering the bottom part of her face. She is wearing a black hoodie as she walks these shady streets.)
: At one point, the Sonora Cartel owned these streets. Being from Sonora, Mexico, it was tough growing up around here. Despite my father trying to provide my family with the best protection possible, that did not make us prone to gaining enemies. It did not make us safe for the mess that I would find myself in. All because I wanted to become closer to my father. I stepped up and became a participant in the Sonora Cartel. Imagine me, a sixteen-year-old Nicole Ramos, taking on responsibilities that were meant for someone twice my age. I thought I was the baddest woman in these streets. There was nothing that can touch me. A woman with my father’s temper, death threats did not phase me whatsoever. Everything I did was successful and nothing could stop me.
Nicole Ramos: That was until I found my mother and brother murdered in cold blood.
(Sounds of gunshots being fired are heard, but not shown.)
Nicole Ramos: It was my fault. My father could care less and I was stuck grieving for my mistakes. It tore me up in the inside. I wanted to provide everything that my family could want. I could not grieve for long as I found myself pouring everything into my work. I thought, maybe one, I could kill those that killed my mom and brother. During the process, I stopped being Nicole Ramos and became…
Llorona.
Llorona: I raised hell for those around me as I wept such as the stories you would hear of Llorona when you were a child. In April, I realized I had enough with this gang life. I had enough with this life I thought I had to live. This is where wrestling came into the picture. I want to be known for my wrestling, not for what I did in these streets. I still carry the mentality I did in the streets though. I will continue to raise hell like I did the moment I found my mother and brother dead, but I will for the women of LAW.
(Llorona takes the hoodie off her head and the bandana from her face.)
Llorona: You will feel the wrath of Llorona.
(The scene transitions to a young woman being thrown streamers at her. She is seen celebrating a well-earned victory.)
: Konnichiwa. My name is Miho Yamazaki and I’m from Hiratsuka, Kanagawa, Japan.
(Miho Yamazaki’s time in JET is shown. Her accomplishments such as winning the JET World, Tag Team and Openweight Championship are shown.)
Miho Yamazaki: I am mostly known from my time in Joshi Extreme Takeover. I gained much success in the company. I hope that I can have the same thing here.
(Miho is shown training in the ring while her mentor, JET Legend and Color Commentator, Hanako Nakamoto giving her advice in the ring.)
Miho Yamazaki: My mentor is JET Legend Hanako Nakamoto. She is amazing and I looked up to her for the longest time. I always dreamt of being as good as her, but I liked to say I did alright (chuckles).
(More footage of Miho’s run in JET is shown.)
Miho Yamazaki: I accomplished a lot in my career. It makes me think, “what else do I got to accomplish?” This is what brings me to LAW. I want to end my career in the best note possible. I want to fight with the best here. I am not settling for anything less. Bring on the competition!
(The camera pans to ringside.)
Singles Match
Llorona vs Miho Yamazaki
From the opening bell, the match starts off with a bang! Llorona immediately catches Miho Yamazaki with a double leg takedown! Yamazaki kicks her away and stops her momentum with an elbow smash! Llorona returns the favor, and a back and forth of elbow strikes ensue. Llorona gets the upper hand and finishes the tug-o-war with a discus lariat! She picks her opponent up and follows up with a snap suplex! Llorona looks confident in this match as she applies a seated hammerlock! Miho fights out of it and counters with a Death Valley Driver! Miho makes the cover, but Llorona kicks out at two! She whips her to the ropes, and catches her with a running yakuza kick! Miho picks up Llorona by the waist for a German suplex that Llorona flips out of and counters with an enzuigiri! Grabbing Miho by the hair, she tosses her out of the ring, hits the ropes and flies through the ropes with a suicide dive!
Kat Ricci: There goes Llorona, tapping into that high-octane offense! Miho is gonna have to find a way to slow things down and tear her down piece by piece!
After a couple of stiff kicks, Llorona rolls Miho halfway into the ring, take a couple of steps back, and connects with a vicious drive-by kick! Llorona springboards with a hurricanrana in mind, but Yamazaki counters with a surprise European uppercut! She slowly picks up Llorona and slams her down with a pinning Michinoku Driver! Llorona kicks out at two-and-a-half! Miho starts walking around the ring, winding up her arm, as if she’s signaling in the end. When Llorona gets to her feet, she charges ahead with a YAMA BOMBER (Running Lariat)! Llorona ducks but catches the Flash Step Kick (Superkick)! She counters into an Encintado (Over The Shoulder Single Leg Boston Crab) and immediately transitions into a Rematar (Standing Inverted Indian Deathlock Surfboard). She’s stomping on the head multiple times while maintaining the deathlock! Miho taps! The Joshi veteran taps!
Melissa Flash: Miho has had one hell of a showing tonight, but the viciousness of Llorona has prevailed! This mysterious woman is someone to be concerned about for sure!
(“Roots” -- In This Moment plays as the crowd stands up to their feet as Jocelyn Sky comes out with a huge smile on her face. The Lethal Specialists Championship is sitting on her shoulder before she raises the title high in the air, making the crowd go more wild.)
Natasha Night: Ladies and gentlemen please welcome at this time, the NEW Lethal Specialists Champion, JOOOOOOOOOCEEEEEEEELYYYYYYYYN SKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKKYYYYY!!
Melissa Flash: Our new Lethal Specialists Champion! Jocelyn Sky did what most would consider unthinkable at Homecoming when she defeated McKenzie Hoyte in a No Disqualification match! I was surprised with the result myself, but just seeing the smile on this young woman’s face says everything!
Kat Ricci: Word on the street was that McKenzie Hoyte “resigned” from LAW because she is nothing more than a little bitch --
Melissa Flash: Kat, that’s enough from you.
Kat Ricci: :pensive:
(“Roots” fades away as Jocelyn Sky stands in the middle of the ring as the crowd applauds for her. Jocelyn looks like she is touched.)
Jocelyn Sky: This was truly an interesting turn of events. Homecoming is a moment that I would never forget. It provided me with a memorable moment in which I never thought would happen so early on to this LAW experience, but here I am. I am the NEW Lethal Specialists Champion!
(Jocelyn Sky raises the title in the air as the crowd cheers for her before she places the championship high in the air.)
Jocelyn Sky: I have been so overwhelmed by the love and support that I’ve been receiving from all you guys and gals. I just want to thank each and every one of you for believing in me. I want to think Stephanie Matsuda who has pushed me since the day I met her. She is one of the reasons why I want to be the best in the business. Just seeing her kick ass in EAW has motivated me enough to want to be the best champion possible. Most importantly, I want to thank another woman. Without this woman, I probably would not have been pushed to the limit enough, but I want to thank McKenzie Hoyte -
(“Came Out Swinging” -- The Wonder Years plays as the crowd cheers when they see McKenzie Hoyte walking out from the curtain. She seems to have a serious look on her face as she looks at Jocelyn Sky.)
Melissa Flash: Here is the former Lethal Specialists Champion, McKenzie Hoyte does not look like a happy camper whatsoever. I don’t blame her for being upset about the loss.
Kat Ricci: Instead of dealing with this loss like a woman, she decides to “resign” and tuck her tail between her legs. This is probably one of the most fragile women in all of women’s wrestling. Pathetic.
(“Came Out Swinging” dies down as McKenzie Hoyte is seen with a mic in her hand as it looks like she is taking time with what she is trying to say.)
McKenzie Hoyte: I’m going to be blunt: I still think that I still should be Lethal Specialists Champion. There is probably no other woman in this locker room that is going to carry the title with as much honor and respect as me.
(The crowd begins to boo as McKenzie hushes all of them so she can continue speaking.)
McKenzie Hoyte: But, it’s whatever. Congratulations, Jocelyn. You were the better woman. You won fair and square. I guess you’re probably wondering if I’m here for my rematch, but the fact is I’m here to tell you and everyone that I’m leaving LAW. This loss took its toll on me, so it seems like you and I will not be facing anytime soon.
(The crowd begins to boo as some begin to chant “NO!” over and over again.)
Kat Ricci: WHAT DID I TELL YOU, MELISSA? I WAS RIGHT! WHAT A QUITTER!
Jocelyn Sky: Well, it sucks that you’re leaving and I wish you the best in whatever you do.
(The two women shake hands before McKenzie Hoyte exits the ring. On her way to the back, “Message To God” -- Royal Hunt begins to play as April Song outcomes out from the curtain. She crosses paths with McKenzie who is making her way to the back. Both women exchange a look before April makes her way to the ring.)
Kat Ricci: April Song had a fantastic showing against Hikaru Suzuki. Even though she didn’t walk out with the victory at Homecoming, April managed to show why she is probably one of the best wrestlers we could have in LAW.
(April steps into the ring and gets a microphone from the corner. She takes a good look at Jocelyn Sky with the Lethal Specialists Championship on her shoulder.)
April Song: I heard there’s an empty spot for your next opponent and I want to step up to the plate.
(The crowd begins to cheer at the potential matchup. Jocelyn Sky looks around the cheering crowd and back at April Song.)
Jocelyn Sky: Tempting. I’m going to need a reason for you, April. If you manage to defeat Daisy Thrash, I’ll take it into consideration.
April Song: Oh, I’ll give you a reason, alright.
Jocelyn Sky: That’s what I like to hear.
(“Roots” plays back up as Jocelyn Sky exits the ring to leave April to have her match up next. Jocelyn Sky raises her title up in the air before making her way into the back.)
Melissa Flash: For those who are not familiar with April Song, check out this introduction video…
(Pitch black is seen, but a voice is heard.)
: I was on top of the world.
(Footage is shown with April Song raising her EAW Empire Tag Team Championship high in the air before going to April Song in confessionals. April is not making direct eye contact to the camera. The camera pans into April clawing the cushion of the chair she is sitting at.)
April Song: Funny how all of that manages to go falling down.
(April Song is shown being powerbombed off the stage. The one person assisting in the powerbomb? Stephanie Matsuda.)
April Song: People say I did this to myself. People say that I let this drive me to insanity. People think that they have everything figured out.
(April Song is seem becoming a little unhinged in some of her last EAW matches before her demise.)
April Song: They’re wrong. They are always wrong. I feel freer than I have ever felt. After I recovered, I took my talents to Strong Style Wrestling. I find my place in the Ronin faction before I made my presence felt in Lethal Angels of Wrestling.
(April Song is shown putting a series of submissions during a bunch of girls during her time in Elite Answers Wrestling. Some even tapping out in the process.)
April Song: I am a submission specialist. I know over a thousand submission holds. So you never know which one I am going to hit you with. These women think that they are going to have me figured out within a few matches, but I am a woman who is constantly evolving. I am always finding ways to get better. The women in the back better not cross my path and they better JUST. TAP. OUT.
(April Song is shown making more women tap out and her arm raised after as the camera goes back to the ring.)
Singles Match
April Song vs Daisy Thrash
Melissa Flash: This is a classic battle between two veterans of the biggest name in women’s wrestling! April Song is a former Specialist Champion and Daisy Thrash just came off the biggest performance of her life in Las Vegas! I expect no less than a back and forth spectacle!
April Song and Daisy Thrash start out the match with a tie-up. April immediately gets the upper hand and applies a wristlock. She flips Daisy on her back, who jumps to her feet and counters with a hammerlock. April skillfully maneuvers around her and gets the double-leg takedown! April transitions to a Fujiwara armbar, but Daisy slips out! Both women get to their feet and Daisy strikes first with a backfist! She follows up with a powerful bionic elbow, and April goes stumbling in the corner. She follows-up with several shoulder thrusts to the midsection. April slumps down in a seated position, and Daisy continues the attack with a series of mudhole stomps! Before the ref could warn Daisy, April grabbed the foot and pushes her off! Daisy falls back and April climbs top the top rope. She flies off the top and scores the diving somersault neckbreaker! She adjusts for a cover, but Daisy kicks out at two!
Kat Ricci: It seems April Song has adopted a more versatile style since her return from injury. This may be from her experience fighting people with different fighting backgrounds! You can see there’s a calm expression on her face as if she’s more centered than before.
April hits the ropes and lands a Bee Stinger (running double foot stomp). She grabs Daisy’s legs and applies a Prison Lock (Kneeling figure-four leglock). Daisy’s in pain, reaching out for the ropes! April leans into the move to apply more pressure. Daisy crawls towards the ropes and makes it! April releases the hold at the four count and backs away. Daisy uses the opportunity to go for April’s legs and catch her off guard with an ankle lock! April scrambles on one leg and gets to the middle of the ring! April turns over on her back and lures Daisy in a Killer Clutch (Peruvian Necktie). Daisy tries to move about, fighting April with every ounce of strength. April uses Daisy’s wild movements against her to easily tighten the hold and force the submission win.
Melissa Flash: What a display of technical prowess demonstrated by April Song! Daisy fought hard, but April was able to make-up for her loss at Homecoming! I wouldn’t be surprised if Jocelyn Sky was watching backstage!
(Maria Cuesta is seen standing backstage with a smile on her face.)
Maria Cuesta: Ladies and gentlemen, my guests at this time, the Lethal Tag Team Champions, The Knight Dynasty!
(The Knight Dynasty, Sidney, and Avery Knight are seen standing on each side of Maria with the Lethal Tag Team Championships on their shoulders.)
Maria Cuesta: Sidney, Avery, Homecoming was successful on your part as the two of you retained the Lethal Tag Team Championships against The Dynamic Duo. With the few tag teams that have been signed over the past few weeks, what are your thoughts of gaining more competition?
Avery Knight: The Knight Dynasty is open to more competition. Sidney and I would love more competition to step up to the plate. We’re not afraid of a little competition right, Sidney?
Sidney Knight: I’m certainly not afraid of a little competition. We need more teams to step up to us for these titles. It can be from that new team Wolfegang Symphony to even the alliance of Avery’s opponent tonight, Lieta Collins and her partner Jasmine Peyton. We want to continue proving that The Knight Dynasty is the best team in LAW and we are the ones to beat.
Avery Knight: We’ll prove that to any team that steps up to the champions and I’ll prove that to a woman who I’ve gotten the best of in one occasion. The Knight Dynasty is untouchable. There is no other team that can dare touch us and out best us in the squared circle. That’s enough from us, Maria.
Sidney Knight: Damn right.
(Both women leave Maria’s sides at the same time, leaving Maria with a smile on her face as the pan to ringside.)
Main Event: Singles Match
Lieta Collins (w/ Jasmine Peyton) vs Avery Knight (w/ Sidney Knight)
The bell rings and Lieta Collins offers a test of strength. Avery Knight complies and takes her hand. Avery finds her shoulders being pushed towards the mat but lifts herself from the mat before the ref could make a count. Lieta whips Avery to the ropes who counters with a running hurricanrana. Avery hits a couple of shots to the face and whips Lieta to the corner! Knight runs after her, but crash and burns when Collins dodges the running hip attack Lieta grabs Avery and hits the closed fist! The ref warns Lieta, who ignores him and focuses on a blitzkrieg of shoot kicks to the chest! She places Avery on the top climbs to the middle rope for an explosive Avalanche Death Valley Driver! Lieta makes the cover, but Avery kicks out at two. Sidney is cheering her on, while Jasmine scoffs at the kick out. Lieta gets impatient and applies the grounded ankle lock!
Melissa Flash: Lieta wants to finish this match as quickly as possible! She has the ankle lock in deep! Avery is trying to reach the ropes! Will she make it!?
Avery is reaching out and while the ref wasn’t looking, Sidney, grabs her hand and pulls her to the ropes. While the ref makes the five count, Jasmine starts yelling at Sidney who walks away, shrugging her shoulders. Jasmine pouts and follows suit. Lieta lets go at the four count and drags Avery from the ropes. Knight counters with a surprise roll-up, but Collins kicks out at two. Both women get to their feet, and Avery grabs Lieta into a fallaway slam. Jasmine steps to Sidney’s face, telling her to leave the ring. Sidney responds by slapping Jasmine across the face! Peyton falls to the ground, shocked! She starts screaming at the ref as Avery scores a sidekick on her opponent, preparing for the finisher. Jasmine jumps on the apron, trying to get the ref’s attention about what just happened to her. Sidney tries to pull her down, but is kicked away. Avery lands a superkick to Jasmine’s face, knocking her off the apron. As soon as she turns around, Lieta grabs her into a vertical suplex transitioned into a Rear Naked Choke. Avery tries to fight out of it, but Lieta has it on too tight. Avery is forced to tap, giving Lieta the submission win.
Kat Ricci: Lieta gets the win, thanks to Jasmine’s sneaky tactics! A win over one-half of the Lethal Tag Team Champions may give her enough clout to go after a singles title! Lieta leaves the ring as soon as Sidney slides in to check on her sister! Judging by the look on Sidney’s face, this may be far from over.
(Lieta and Jasmine give each other a high-five, laughing at Sidney Knight, who’s glaring daggers at the duo while hovering over her cousin. The camera fades to black at the LAW and WWA logos appear on screen.)
