The animosity is palpable between the women in the center of their respective trios, Candice Blair and Stacy DeVille. At the announcement that, rather than direct the six JET competitors with a singular question the interviewer is simply allowing the six gaijin to speak whatever is on their mind, the media members in attendance wait during the pregnant pause to see whether Candice and her Blondetourage will blink first, or if it will be Stacy and her friends, the scintillatingly named “Suplex Orgy” who throw the first verbal punch.
Stacy DeVille: Man! I could really go for a Pumpkin Spice Latte right now.
The unexpected non sequitur draws a laugh from the crowd.
Stacy DeVille: Look, as much talk as there’s gonna be here at this press conference, the Blondetourage have a lot that they won’t be able to talk away. During the Rise Together tournament, the three of them couldn’t even make it to the finals. Whether the Trios champions retain, or whether KAGUYA-Gun cheat their way to win just like KAGUYA did against me, there’s nothing those three can say that will make any of you believe that Candice and Company would be able to turn a #1 contendership into an actual championship win.
Stacy turns and gives the opposition a smile while Kem Dynamo leans forward slighty towards her mic, clearly not wanting to wait for the right moment like she did in her first press conference.
Kem Dynamo: So what about us, right? What has the Suplex Orgy done lately? Now, if you want to just throw on some blinders, then sure, not much. Me and Lena Skye over here have one JET match combined and while Stacy proved herself more than capable during the RiseGP, there’s more to trios competition than three individuals all standing in the same corner. Stacy and I have worked together and have challenged for championship gold in Sakura Pro USA. Stacy and Lena have teamed together and risen to the top of Portland Pro Wrestling. I can keep going, listing accolade after accolade, but I’ll stop right there, not because I’m gonna drop the tired “titles don’t matter” trope, but because, frankly, I’ve already eclipsed the resume that the Blondetourage are bringing to the table. Stacy DeVille is an amazing wrestler, and Candice Blair has been Academy Champion for three months and change, but Stacy has already shown that she’s better than Miss Blair, and you have to squint so hard to see Vanessa and Virginia as equals to myself and Lena Skye that you realize that your eyes are completely shut.
Wanting to join in on the discussion, Lena Skye actually takes her mic out of the table stand so she can speak while assuming a posture of both confidence and impatience, a look of belief that her victory is inevitable and a readiness to bring that certain outcome to reality as soon as possible.
Lena Skye: I’m not much of a fan of talking. I’ll do these press conferences and if you hand me a mic, yeah, I’ll tell ya what’s on my mind. But I came here to break necks and cash checks, just like I’ve done from Day One. It doesn’t matter which one of those girls over there tags in and steps in the ring to have a showdown with “Colossal”, I can tell you exactly what’s gonna happen: they’re gonna get dropped on their damn heads.
Lena points directly at Blondetourage member Virginia Atwood and smiles in anticipation.
Lena Skye: Especially THAT one over there. You think you impress anyone? HA! “Oh know, she’s TALL!” If you think a sick wingspan is gonna stop me, then you are delusional. I can not WAIT to see you come in and think that your lanky Taylor Swift body can handle just one suplex, much less my entire arsenal. If it was you and me, you wouldn’t make it five minutes before tapping out and begging me to stop, so go ahead and thank whichever one of your friends jumps in to save you, and then apologize to them for what’s coming next.
Lena lightly tosses the mic back on the table, shaking her head at the seeming lack of competition she perceives across the table.
Kem Dynamo: That’s the X-factor, right? I mean, it’s clear as day, to me at least, that if this were a set of three singles matches, the Suplex Orgy would be the favorites to sweep. But trios brings that extra dimension, doesn’t it? The teamwork, the partnership, the other opposing team members that might just try and interject themselves in less-than-legal ways, all of it. But even then, you have a well-oiled machine, a seamless equilateral triangle on this side of the table, and over there, you have Candice Blair and two coat-tail riders. It even says it in their name! “Blondetourage” is a play on “entourage” which, for those who weren’t watching HBO during the 2000s, literally means “a group surrounding an important person”.
Kem makes a point to look directly at Vanessa Santiago as she continues to speak.
Kem Dynamo: How are you feeling about that, Vanessa? How is “La Dictadora” handling playing second-fiddle to your friend, Candice? Oh sure, I can already hear you dismissing the concept of dissension because the three of you are theoretically gonna “reign over the Trios division together” or some nonsense that, as Stacy already mentioned, has already been disproven. So you’re either trying to resign yourself to the reality that you are in control of exactly zero things...or you’re planning to take whatever power Candice Blair has out from under her. Neither of those explanations make you a good partner, and if you don’t have some added bonus of providing chemistry or teamwork, then you really are just three individuals against three people that are not only cohesive as can be, but are individually better than each of you.
Stacy DeVille leans forward slightly and Kem backs off, accepting a fist bump from Lena while Stacy is once again given the media’s attention.
Stacy DeVille: You know, I was pretty clear about my intentions for coming here to Joshi Extreme Takeover. First of all, I love the nation of Japan. This is my second home, and I am happy to have a reason to keep flying across the Pacific to this wonderful place.
But more that, I’ve done a lot behind-the-scenes work lately. I’ve worked very hard to help other deserving people get their opportunities to shine and be recognized as the great women competitors that they are. But you know else is a great competitor? Me! I am! So I wanted to come to one of the best promotions on Earth and get back to what I have always loved to do: fight the best competition, and bring home the most prestigious championships that the wrestling world has to offer.
So here I am, fresh off of a great run in the RiseGP that ended with a clean-as-a-whistle win over the Academy Champion, and don’t think for one minute that I will let it slide that I deserve a chance to beat Candice for the title just like I beat her at RiseGP. But I’m not stopping there! I also brought to Japan two fantastic wrestlers, Kem and Lena, who I consider to be like family. We work great as a team, we compliment each others’ strengths and weaknesses, and I know I can trust them to have my back no matter what, and they know they can trust me.
At the end of the day, that’s all this is: three joshi who are not only better as individuals than our opposition, but better as a team. You want a team that can take the #1 contendership and actually challenge the Trios Champions and beat them?
There’s one team that you know can’t do that over there, and right here, there’s a team that you all know can.

(Candice Blair waits for the Suplex Orgy to go completely silent. She gives herself a brief moment to collect her words, but from the look on her face, you can tell that she is taken back by some of the things that were said. She leans closer to the mic as she looks at Stacy Deville's way.)
"I'm sorry, Stacy, but YOU out of all people want to give us shit about the Blondetourage not making it to the finals when you couldn't advance to the GP finals by your own will?. I mean, while I was trying to process that someone like you defeat me, I couldn't help by listening to the fact that you want a shot at this Academy Championship? Someone must have a big head because you may have what you like to call a "clean" victory over me, but it's going to be the last time that you get a victory over me. I will do everything in my power to make sure that I don't fall to you a second time. You see, Stacy. I have an issue with you. YOU are the reason why I am not part of that GP final. YOU are the reason why I won't be going on to challenge for the JET World Championship. YOU are the reason that Suplex Orgy will fall to the Blondetourage. I approach this GP final with the intentions to help lead my team to victory. You think that these people should be doubting us? You think that we aren't going to turn a contendership match and transform it into a championship victory? Well, Vanessa, Virginia and I are aware that we couldn't win the Trios Championship. I still blame Ai Moe to this day. I still cannot believe that the Blondetourage are not JET Trios Champions. I am aware of the fact that the reason we didn't advance to the finals because Ai pinned me, but times are different. Scenarios have changed and the deadly blondes are more prepared than ever to claim our rightful championships. If that means, we have to get rid of a Suplex Orgy in order to challenge for this titles, that is something that we're going to do."
(She snarls at Stacy before turning her attention to Kem Dynamo with almost a disgusted look on her face.)
"As for you, Kem. Who asked you to talk? This may be a press conference, but no one gives a damn about what you have to say. Are you legit going to say that Stacy is better than me? How come? Just because she has a bit more accomplishments than me? I come from a successful wrestling family. This business is in my blood. This has grown to be a part of me. How are you going to compare a woman who has been involved in different wrestling promotions and compare her to me? I'm just getting started. I got this JET Academy Championship under my belt in about a month joining JET. I took what people expected me to be nothing more than a woman who always relied on handouts and became a star in Japan. I mean, who would have expected for Candice Blair to be one of JET's most talked about women? Vanessa Santiago may not be as established as yourself and one thing we have in common is that we came from Shoot Nation in Strong Style Wrestling. Virginia Attwood has proven to be one of the deadliest members of The Blondetourage and she'll blow you up like that bomb did Hiroshima and Nagasaki. Yeah, we're not as established as you, Stacy or Lena, but that doesn't mean that we'll ever get there. We will. It will happen in the GP finals."
(Candice turns her attention to Lena Skye and has a serious smile on her face, almost like she is trying to contain herself from beating up someone.)
"As for Lena Skye. You're smart for not directing your comments towards me, but you targetted my good friend and stablemate and that's going to be a problem."
(Candice sits back and away from the microphone, letting those last words linger in the air.)

Stacy leans forward almost as soon as Candice pauses for longer than a breath. However, Kem holds out a hand to stop her.
Lena Skye, for her part, is trying to stifle her incredulous laughter at Candice so it doesn’t interrupt her teammate’s retort.
Kem Dynamo: Nah, Mama Bear, let me take this one. After all, this is not “Candice and company” versus “Stacy and stuff” and unlike The Blondetourage, I think this conference has shown that we are an equal triad over here, and we can’t wait to show everyone exactly that at GP Finals.
But specifically, Miss Blair, you need to consider toning down that condescension a few notches. You admitted yourself that you haven’t accomplished as much as Stacy has. Sure, you are the JET Academy Champion, but Lena and I are also walking in with championships to our name. You see, while you came to JET to establish your name, the three of us came here to CONFIRM what everyone already has seen, that we are a trio of badass women capable of defeating any threesome you wanna put in front of us.
Lena’s laughter becomes too much and it actually breaks from the background and interrupts Kem. Kem looks over at her teammate with curiosity at the source of the humor, and Lena takes it as an opportunity to elucidate.
Lena Skye: I’m sorry, guys. It’s just too much. (in a dramatically goofy voice) “you’re smart for not directing your comments towards me”
After a heavy eyeroll, Lena turns directly toward Candice.
Lena Skye: Guess what, Barbie, I’m looking right at you right now. I see you put a muzzle on your lackeys, but let me put one on you. You take one step in the ring when I’m on the other side with this disrespectful attitude and you will regret it. See, I don’t have to be like you and try to be a badass. I am a badass, and if you come near me in the ring, I’ll drop you on your head. Tag in Racist Taylor Swift over there and I’ll drop her on her head. Tag in “La Dictadora” and guess what? Dropped on her damn head.
You don’t believe me?
Lena leans over as much as she can in her chair.
Lena Skye: Good. That’ll make it that much more fun.
Lena sports an evil smile as she leans back into a neutral sitting position. Stacy DeVille, meanwhile, has been looking on, enjoying the fire and feistiness her partners are demonstrating in recognition of the contendership and bragging rights that are at stake.
Stacy DeVille I don’t need to speak for my teammates, and I don’t need to convince anyone that we’re ready to win this match and then go win the JET Trios Championships.
Candice, on the other hand, has a lot of convincing to do, to herself more than anything. You hear her brag about being “the most talked-about woman in JET?” You’re seeing someone who knows that title of hers is mine when I decide to take it, and she just wants to make sure no one forgets about her when the Academy Championship is in someone else’s hands.
And don’t forget that she’s part of a wrestling family! Can't forget that! It’s funny that Kem doesn’t feel the need to mention that she’s a second-generation wrestler, and if I tried to lean on the DeVille family name for bonus points, I would never hear the end of it from my dad back home. It doesn’t matter how you got to the ring, it’s what you do when you’re in there. And at the end of the day, The Blondetourage isn’t fit to the task of being the best trio in Japan.
But it’s fine, let Candice keep making her excuses. “It’s Ai Moe’s fault we lost the Trios tournament!” “It’s Stacy’s fault I didn’t win the RiseGP!” You know, Candice, if I could get that loss to KAGUYA back, it would be me in the main event, and unlike you I didn’t lose clean. I got my own scores to settle, and as much as you want to believe that you are a franchise player in JET, at GP Finals you’re just one of three speed bumps on the way to me, Lena, and Kem taking care of our business.
Stacy’s smile has worn down to just a smirk as she gives the Blondetourage members another glance.
Kem Dynamo: Oh, and Miss Blair, you were right about one thing: the scenarios HAVE changed, and times ARE different. The Suplex Orgy is here, and as far as the JET Trios division goes, that changes EVERYTHING!

Virginia pulls an annoyed expression before coughing primly.
"Ahem, excuse me ladies. Mind if I cut in? Because I could have sworn I heard some ignorant little girl insulting me."
She make a show of leaning over and checking the name card.
"Lena Skye, is it? So sorry sugar, I must have forgotten your name, just like everybody else around here. While I appreciate you comparing me to the amazing Taylor Swift, don't think I'm just some fragile flower. I'm a military brat and proud of it! If you think I can't take a simple suplex, you must have been the one dropped on your head. Don't worry, if you don't remember, I'll help you relive the experience on Saturday after I crush you with the Fat Man."
"Suplex Orgy? What kind of ridiculous name is that? It's a surprise that none of you have left out of embarrassment! Don't you worry about the Blondtourage's cohesion. Vanessa, Candice, and I are strong separately, but even stronger together. And we'll become Trios Champions together."
