JET 9: Sasebo City Gymnasium, Nagasaki, Japan
A recap of the RISE Grand Prix Finals event is shown including the massive win of Kimiko Hayabusa over Mitra Marvel and a successful title defense by the Trios Champs along with many other amazing matches at Kobe World Memorial Hall. We soon move to the intro of JET along with the JET House show theme - “Garasu Wo Ware!” by Keyakizaka46
Hanako Nakamoto: We’re coming one of the most electric Supershows in JET history. RISE GP Finals was a massive success and now on the road to Kyoto Spotlight on December 8th. I’m Hanako Nakamoto and as always I’m joined by the lovely Maki Fujioka!
Maki Fujioka: Thank you, Hanako-san and you’re right about RISE Grand Prix Finals, what a finals show from Kobe. I think we’ve got something special, Kimiko Hayabusa is set to kick off JET9 tonight with some words. Let’s get right to it!
“Fly Again” by Man With A Mission plays to a loud ovation as the camera pans to the entrance ramp for Kimiko Hayabusa who comes out with a smile on her face and a miniature version of RISE GP Trophy.
Asuka Kuramochi: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome your 2018 RISE Grand Prix winner! Kimiko Hayabusa!!
Kimiko enters the ring and poses with the trophy as the crowd throws streamers into the ring. She is soon handed the microphone by a young girl and “Fly Again” begins to die down. The crowd loudly chant her name as she looks around at the Sasebo crowd before speaking in Japanese.
Kimiko Hayabusa: (I fulfilled my promise, didn’t I? I won the RISE Grand Prix and now I have a guaranteed JET World Title match in my foreseeable future. Let’s be honest if this was anyone else, they would want that title shot at the next pay-per-view. As much as I want to take the title from Nina Sanada at Kyoto Spotlight, I’m thinking of something much bigger. I want my opportunity at JET World Championship in the main event of the biggest event we will ever hold. JET President Azumi Goto talked about JET’s biggest event in history to be held on March 16th, 2019. I want my title shot to be cashed in at Cinderella Story 2019 at Nippon Budokan! In front of the biggest crowd we will ever see, I want to capture the JET World Championship.)
Hearing that statement from Kimiko sends the crowd excited but soon Yoko Kudo’s theme song hits and the JET General Manager makes her way out to the surprise of many people in the arena. She soon grabs a microphone and looking at the GP winner.
Yoko Kudo: (So you want to compete at Cinderella Story? The biggest event and you want your guarantee title shot to be used for the show. I like that idea, there could be a chance I turn this into a tradition. It seems the crowd is very much interested in that, I’ll allow it but one rule. You defend your title match contract at JET’s next two supershows. If you successfully defend against your two challengers, you get the main event and the JET World Championship at Cinderella Story. You lose to any one of your challenges, they will receive your opportunity instead of you. Sounds like a deal to you, Kimiko?
Kimiko Hayabusa: You’ve got yourself a deal!
The crowd loudly cheers as Kimiko shakes hands with Yoko Kodo. The theme for the JET GM plays as she leaves the ring.
Hanako Nakamoto: What a challenge left in front of Kimiko Hayabusa! If she wants the main event of Cinderella Story 2019, she has to defend not only once but twice.
Maki Fujioka: It seems like the Pink Princess is up for the challenge, let’s see if she can overcome this and headline. Meanwhile, JET will be back after this commercial. Stay tuned!
(Commercial for Lethal Angels of Wrestling presents Sin City on November 11th!)
Opening Match: Pretty Committee (Bianca Davis and Veronica Taylor) vs. Suplex Orgy (Lena Skye and Kem Dynamo)
Lena Skye and Veronica Taylor started this match respectively for their team. Skye was able to toss around Taylor in the early going with ease. Hitting a snap suplex for a quick one count, things weren’t looking good for the PC as try to come up with a plan in their corner. Probably thinking of how they will deal with Suplex Orgy’s massive size advantage. Taylor heads back to face off against Lena and ducks a discus elbow, Irish whipping Lena into the ropes but Bianca Davis from behind with a rope assisted enzuigiri to the back of Lena Skye. Meanwhile, Taylor takes advantage of that with a small package. Only a two count as Pretty Committee now begin to ground Lena Skye and keep her away from Kem Dynamo. Davis and Taylor begin to make frequent tags, cutting off Lena Skye from her tag partner.
The PC is doing an excellent job as Kem Dynamo desperately tries to get Lena to make a tag. The crowd encouraging Lena to make the tag! She is able to get that chance as Bianca Davis misses a Running Beautiful Boot (Big Boot) as Lena rolled out of the way and immediately tagging in Kem Dynamo! The crowd exploding as Dynamo hit her hot tag sequence, Bianca Davis taking two big shoulders before Kem hits her with a running crossbody! Kem only gets a two count as Veronica Taylor intervenes and breaks the count with a stomp to the back. Kem immediately gets up and looks mad, Taylor is telling Dynamo to back away but she doesn’t notice Lena Skye in the back as she hits Veronica with a German Suplex!
Taylor rolls out of the ring as now both members of Suplex Orgy look at each and nod! Kem gets Bianca right up to her feet and tosses her right into Lena’s way who hits a Tornado Warning (Discus Big Boot)! That’s probably knocked out Bianca as she spins right into Kem’s direction who gets Davis in position for Lights Out (Cradle Hammerlock DDT)! IT HITS AND KEM GOES FOR THE COVER, GETTING THE THREE COUNT AND THE WIN!
(Winner - Lena Skye and Kem Dynamo)
The camera soon cuts to backstage at some sort of studio as we see all the members of Blondetourage dressed to impressed and sitting together on studio chairs. Mics are attached to all of their clothes as Candice Blair with JET Academy Championship on her lap.
Candice Blair: Do you people at home want to know what greatness in it’s purest form looks like? Well right in front of you! Four of the absolute best that women’s wrestling has, all put on this earth to not just be professional wrestlers but to be the best wrestlers in the world. This is the strongest and most united faction in JET. Everyone is equal in Blondetourage, we’re not some soldiers in a war, like KAGUYA and her goons but four women out to prove our unmatches abilities in that ring. At JET10 I trust Virginia, Vanessa, and Corrina to capture the JET Trios Championship.
Interviewer: Are you afraid of the threat that the JET Trios Champ will bring at JET10?
Vanessa Santiago: No. Like Candice just said, we’re the best this company can offer right now. Mizuki, Midori, and Ai are in for the biggest threat to come for their titles. They were able to beat a KAGUYA-Gun trio at GP Finals? That’s great for them, we’re on whole other level than KAGUYA and her group at weirdos.
Virginia Atwood: The moment we beat Suplex Orgy and became Number 1 contenders to the JET Trios Titles. You should have immediately know that myself, Corrina and Vanessa are gonna become the next JET Trios Champs. Just like how Candy is holding the Academy Title and has become the best champion for this company, expect those Trios Title to be elevated to a whole other level thanks to them being linked to JET’s most powerful stable.
Corrina Grey: Do you not remember how I debuted in JET? I tore apart the Trios champs, I’m the reason why Ai Moe isn’t Academy Champ even if she could somehow beat Candice. Midori, Mizuki, and Ai are in for a world of hurt. The worst beating they will ever get all because of the Blondetourage tearing them apart and taking the JET Trios Titles right from them.
Candice Blair: Here that you three? The Trios Titles are coming with us and there’s nothing you can do to stop Blondetourage. We’ll see you three next week in Osaka.
The video ends as all four members of Blondetourage leave the camera view as we head to commercial.
(Commercial Break hyping Kyoto Spotlight)
The segment opens with the New Ace of Pro Wrestling, Saint Saito herself, hanging around the backstage area. She is leaning against a large case, her thumbs dancing across her phone as she looks at the screen with a bored look at her face. All of a sudden, her phone begins to ring. Saito looks down at the screen and thumbs the REFUSE key, then returns to what ever it is she is doing. Then the phone rings again, and again Saito hits REFUSE. For the third time the phone begins to ring, Saito breathes out a bored sign and hits ACCEPT with a resigned look on her face.
Saint Saito: Moshi moshi, motherfucker.
Saito pauses as she listens to the person on the other end speak, their words not being able to be picked up by the camera.
Saint Saito: Sure, sure. Whatever. I'll do what you say, dammit! Now, do you mind? I got more important things to do, you know!
And with that, Saito very rudely hangs up the phone and returns to playing around with it, still looking as bored as she was two minutes ago. The camera lingers on the New Ace for another ten seconds, Saito appearing none the wiser that she is being recorded. That or she knows and doesn't care either way. She stops and facing away the camera as she hears the entrance theme coming from the arena, signaling the next match is about to go underway. The segment ends after another ten seconds of uninterrupted, riveting action from Saito...but not before the young woman turns around and looks at the camera as she holds her fist up in front of the camera all of a sudden and slowly raise her middle finger in front of the cameraman. She speaks, still holding up the one-finger salute and not even looking at the cameraman, her attention seemingly on her phone more than anything else although she is clearly speaking to him.
Saint Saito: Why are you still here? Don't you have a job to capture the next match?
Scene then transitioned back to the arena.
Semi-main; Tag Match: Stela Delgato and Kyoko Watanabe vs. Rio Kurokawa and Sharayah Endo
The match begins as Rio looks really calm to take an offense from Stella until the point where Rio founds her opponent’s weak spot. Rio begins to kick Stela’s thigh soon as Stela is up for a roundhouse kick which Rio just easily evades it. Stela goes down while holding her hamstring in pain as now Rio begins to exploit her injured leg. Rio drags Stela to her corner which she tags to Super Endo. Rio and Sharayah got their tag team chemistry as while holding Stela’s leg, Sharayah jumps the top rope and hits a springboard elbow drop to downed Stela. Stela looks rolling in pain.
Hanako Nakamoto: Pretty nice teamwork by Rio and Sharayah! Wait a minute....
Maki Fujioka: Just like what we saw at the RISEGP finals show, Saint Saito is watching this match from a closer look once again. She is indeed scouting Rio and Sharayah.
After a slight diversion to Saito, it seems the team of KAGUYA-gun now in control. Sharayah is in the red corner as Stela and Kyoko keep tagging each other and mercilessly stomping the Super Endo until she’s down in the corner. Stela enters back in as she rolls Sharayah to the middle of the ring and take a cover. However, Sharayah is able to kick out at two. Stela drags Endo’s leg back to her own corner while Stela tags to Kyoko. Endo trying to crawl but Kyoko with her stiff kicks, not letting her to go further. Kyoko keeps kicking Endo’s gut and preventing her to reach her corner but as Kyoko grabs Sharayah’s one leg, she’s using her long leg advantage to hits a hard Enzuigiri. Sharayah is now free to reach her corner but her kick is not making Kyoko completely out. She drags Sharayah away once again. But for the second time, Kyoko gets another enzuigiri and this time she’s completely out. Sharayah crawls once again but the camera suddenly focusing on the ramp where Saito stands but this time, there’s a chaos happening.
Maki Fujioka: What the-- what is happening? Who is this lady attacking Saint Saito from behind?
Hanako Nakamoto: We are not sure. She’s not familiar for us.... WATCH OUT!!
This mysterious lady is throwing Saito to the announce table as we see KAGUYA appears from behind and watching this chaos with a sadistic smile. Rio is there trying to stop the chaos from happening but the younger lady in the ringside is stopping her, preventing Rio to get a disqualification result. Meanwhile in the ring, while everybody focusing on the ambush on Saito, Kyoko is already tagging to Stela as she rolls up Sharayah who watches it from inside the ring. Sharayah is unable to kick out, making this match is on KAGUYA-gun's hand.
(Winner - Stela Delgato and Kyoko Watanabe)
As KAGUYA-Gun are celebrating their win, we soon cut to a warehouse of sorts. The home base of KAGUYA-Gun as we can see the flag of the faction on the front door. Soon the cameraman heads inside and we see KAGUYA on a chair waiting for the camera crew. She is wearing normal civilian clothes and a pair of shades.
KAGUYA: Did you all enjoy my surprise? “Mad Dog” Au Nobu, my newest soldier in KAGUYA-Gun’s conquest of JET. She’s a wild one and makes her all the more destructive.
KAGUYA looks around at her surrounding before resuming.
KAGUYA: RISE Grand Prix didn’t go well for us, not only did we fail to reach finals with three different competitors in the tournament but we didn’t capture the Trios Championship at the finals event. Think of those as minor setbacks but still regardless of the end results, KAGUYA-Gun are gonna get control of JET. It’s just inevitable at this point, we’re the strongest entity right now in this company. Blondetourage may have the talent but here is the drive, all of my soldiers are hungry and have a desire to kill right now.
Kudo, you know I will continue to attack JET. I’ll continue to ruin everything you set to create until you either lose or surrender to me. Get whoever you can to come and fight us but this army of mine. We’re gonna thrive on the chaos you will create. The ball is in your court, Yoko Kudo. I hope to hear what you and Azumi Goto come up with to try and stop me! Just realized that in the end, everything will be burnt down and JET will be total control of KAGUYA-Gun!
The camera feed soon cuts out as we fade to black and to commercial.
(Commercial Break for the other IJWF members and their respective shows.)
We soon cut to the office of Yoko Kudo as Nina Sanada soon barges with the JET World Championship around her shoulders. Much to the annoyance of the JET GM as she turns off her laptop.
Nina Sanada: Alright enough of making me wait, Kudo! This entire week, you’ve been avoiding me and not telling me who my challenger is! Which one of the runts have you picked as my opponent if Kimiko wants to wait until Cinderella Story?
Yoko Kudo: So tell me, Nina, did you just watch KAGUYA call out the entire JET Roster? I’m starting to really get annoyed with that woman’s antic, treating JET as a weak entity and even questioning my leader as general manager.
Nina Sanada: Why should I care? What KAGUYA and her little group do doesn’t concern me. Just tell me who my opponent for Kyoto Spotlight is.
Yoko Kudo: KAGUYA is your opponent! She called out everyone in JET which includes you, so how about this. Since you like to call yourself the Queen of JET, how about you prove it and defend JET from KAGUYA-Gun. KAGUYA herself should be an easy competitor for someone like you, Nina. Think about it, the rest of JET has had enough of KAGUYA-Gun running around. Why don’t you put this to rest and slay the leader of the group or are you too weak to do that, Nina?
Nina thinks for a bit before she is intrigued by this idea before smirking and looking at Yoko Kudo.
Nina Sanada: Invite KAGUYA to a contract signing, Kudo at JET10. You’ve got yourself a main event for Kyoto Spotlight. Think of this as the only favor I’m doing for you, Kudo.
Nina soon leaves the office with her JET World Championship as the shot changes over to the camera next to the commentators.
Maki Fujioka: The match has been set! KAGUYA vs. Nina Sanada at Kyoto Spotlight for the JET World Championship. General Manager Yoko Kudo is putting a lot of faith in Nina Sanada to be the one to take down KAGUYA-Gun.
Hanako Nakamoto: You’re forgetting that this is Nina Sanada, Maki. A legend in this business and arguably the biggest star produced by JET. Well now that we’ve got this KAGUYA situation under control, it’s time to move on from a match that will be set for Kyoto Spotlight. To a possible JET Academy Title match for Kyoto Spotlight. Speaking of the Academy Title, Candice Blair is joining us for commentary!
The camera pans to Candice Blair who has been sitting next to Hanako this whole time.
Candice Blair: Please, you think Stacy DeVille deserves a title shot at my Academy Championship. You two are out of your mind.
Maki Fujioka: But she defeated you clean during the RISE Grand Prix and even statistically eliminated you.
Candice Blair: That’s old news! I’m not here to argue with you about the past, I’m here to scout out potential challengers.
Hanako Nakamoto: Well with that, let’s take it right away to our main event of the evening! Stacy DeVille vs. Jellyfish Cho is next after these commercial messages.
(Commercial Break for Cinderella Story 2019. Tickets for the biggest event in JET history go on sale on this coming Saturday, November 3rd!)
Main Event: Stacy DeVille vs. Jellyfish Cho
With Candice Blair on commentary
The first encounter between both women in Joshi Extreme Takeover. Both were in the RISE GP but different blocks. Stacy and Jellyfish start this match with a handshake before an exchange of holds, DeVille is able to get behind of Cho after the luchadora misses a forearm. DeVille goes for an early German Suplex attempt but Cho is able to flip out of it. Stacy turns around and is pretty impressed at Jellyfish’s athletic abilities.
Maki Fujioka: Pretty impressive athletism from Jellyfish, huh Candice?
Candice Blair: I can do that as well. By the way, what kind of name is Jellyfish Cho? Who names themselves that?
Both women lock up again as Jellyfish is safely able to get behind Stacy but the technically savvy wrestler from Rose City is able to snap mare Jellyfish over into a sitting position. Stacy now with a kick to the back of Cho but the Chinese wrestler is able to dodge it and immediately gets to her feet! Cho goes for a gut kick but Stacy grabs a hold of the leg. She spins Cho around but the Luchadora is able to use this to her advantage and hit a Gamengiri! That stuns Stacy as Cho goes for the cover. She is unsuccessful as DeVille kicks out at one. Cho takes advantage as she smoothly transitions into a side headlock. The normally high-flying Jellyfish Cho is attempting to ground Stacy Deville. This seems to be working as Stacy is trying her best to escape this hold. After quite a while, DeVille is able to get herself up to her feet while still trapped in this side headlock.
Candice Blair: Booooring!
Stacy now with shots to Cho’s ribs with forces her to drop the hold. Stacy is free as Jellyfish charges her only to be hit with a rolling elbow! Cho is stunned as she falls back into the ropes, only to rebound and hit DeVille with an Enzuigiri. Jellyfish Cho now runs the ropes, looking to hit with a sling blade but Stacy ducks and gets back behind of Cho before hitting her with a Snap German suplex! Bridging pin by Stacy only gets her a two count! This doesn’t get to Stacy’s head as she immediately picks up Jellyfish Cho and goes for a DeVille Driver II but Cho is able to fight out of it. The Luchadora slips out and hits a gut kick followed by Switchblade kick. Jellyfish now goes for a DDT but stopped by Stacy who pushes Cho back into the ropes. DeVille now pops up Cho on the rebound and hits her with a Knee Lift! That might have just knocked out the Luchadora as Stacy takes this chance to set up for a DeVille Driver II AND IT HITS! The Northern Lights Suplex scores DeVille a big win in the main event of tonights show.
(Winner - Stacy DeVille)
As “Mecha God” plays, we see Stacy immediately break the bridge and looks over at Candice Blair who’s still at the commentary. Deville’s sight seems to be focusing solely on the JET Academy Championship.
Candice Blair: You want this title, Stacy? Well, you aren’t getting it you still haven’t earned your shot at this Academy Championship. So keeping dream if you think that you’re gonna beat me again.
Candice gets up from commentary and leaves as Stacy celebrates her win.
Maki Fujioka: Well what a way to close out, Stacy DeVille is still targetting the JET Academy Championship. We’ll just need to find out if General Manager Yoko Kudo thinks that DeVille deserves a shot at Candice Blair.
Hanako Nakamoto: We might find that out next show, we`ll see you all at Osaka EDION Arena #2 on November 14th for JET10! Till then signing for my partner Maki and myself, I’m Hanako Nakamoto and we’ll see you all next time! Happy Halloween, Everyone!
The last of tonight is Kem Dynamo and Lena Skye joining Stacy Deville before the IJWF and JET Logos come up and are shown as its fading to black.
