So, the big April Song Recovery Tour is running right through Las Vegas, huh? Well, hey, sis, that’s cool, I’m really happy for you that you’re getting your life back on track and all, but like I told you in the ring, I’m no one’s rebound, not in love, and not in the ring. So if you think you’re gonna come riding into LAW on the wave from another company and take my title? Sis, fuck outta here. See, I won the LAW Lethal Specialists Championship not because of what I done at USC, or the bit I done on the indie circuits, I won it because of what I done here, in this company.
That’s not to say I don’t think you’re deserving of a title shot, see, I’ve watched tape on you sis, I know how good you are, but I really hope your head is on the here and now, and not living in the past when you faced my sister, cause that doesn’t matter here, in LAW, what matters here is what you do here, and that’s all. Now, I’ve said it before, I don’t talk big, I don’t really have an interest in that, I do my talking in the ring. So far it seems you don’t do any talking at all, April you do remember you have a title match, right? Oh, are you waiting on me to talk first? I figured it might be something like that. Thing is, now you’re on the defensive. Now you HAVE to respond to me, and that puts you playing ball in my court, April.
Course, with this match I suppose the ball isn’t really in either of our courts...this insane ladder match that the management has cooked up for my first defense, it takes away both our biggest strengths: Our mat ability. That’s okay, though, sis, cause I’ve been in more than a few fights in my life, I can throw punches, and hang with brawlers...just look at how well I done against Heather Graves, April! She is one of the toughest women on the roster and I was still able to come out on top. Now, I know, you’re tough too, you served in the military and taught submissions to our servicemen and women, and that’s a great thing, but just like how my amateur wrestling background won’t come into play here, neither will your submissions.
Nevermind the fact that IF you get me on the ground you better make damn sure you can control me. I’m bigger and stronger than you are, that’s not bragging, it’s a fact, so I hope you’ve got a good grip. None of that has anything to do with the fact you can’t win the match that way. You gotta climb those rungs, sis, and let me tell ya, it’s gonna be a long time, especially with me right at your heels the whole way up. I’m not going to give up my title so easily.
That brings me back to another point, like I said, i do respect you, but it is damn disrespectful of you tr try to use me as some kind of stepping stone on your comeback tour. Sis, comeback from what? You had some personal issues that caused you to step away? Like I said when we were in the ring, I appreciate that, but you’re not some legend of LAW who built the company then left, you’re someone who let their personal cause them to go on a downward spiral that ended up with you sitting at home missing everything you had worked for. Wanting to earn that back is admirable, but get your own, sis, this title is mine.
I gotta say, and I know I mentioned this before, but I’m surprised that you haven’t sent in any kind of update yet, I mean, this is your big moment, right sis? This is the thing you’ve spent the last several months training yourself for, right? You wanna be the LAW Lethal Specialists Champion, don’t you? Well? Don’t you? I can’t fucking tell, sis, to be honest with you. Seems to me if you wanted it so bad you woulda came for it already, but what do I know?
Oh, and before you go on about how I don’t understand how personal failures can affect a person, shut up. I was born of an one night stand, wasn’t wanted, and had to claw for everything I have. I couldn’t even go to my dad’s funeral...because I wasn’t part of the family he had made for himself. That’s okay, though, it made me stronger. I wasn’t handed things, I took them. So, April Song, you want my belt? Come take it sis.
