JET 11: Kuki General Gymnasium, saitama, Japan
A recap of last week episode starts our show, GM Yoko Kudo announcing the card for along with the contract signing for Nina Sanada vs. KAGUYA and finally the main event which saw the crowning of a brand new JET Trios Champions in Corrina Grey, Vanessa Santiago, and Virginia Atwood as JET10 ended with Blondetourage standing tall with all the members as champions. Soon “Garasu no Ware!” by Keyakizaka46 plays as Joshi Extreme Takeover is LIVE from Kuki City Gymnasium in Saitama, Japan as we soon pan over to commentary as Hanako Nakamoto and Maki Fujioka are on commentary as usual.
Hanako Nakamoto: Welcome everyone to Joshi Extreme Takeover 11 LIVE from Kuki City Gymnasium! I’m “Ironheart” Hanako Nakamoto and this is my commentary partner Maki Fujioka.
Maki Fujioka: Thank you so much, Hanako-san! This is gonna be huge, our go-home show before Kyoto Spotlight next week and I can’t help but get excited about it.
“Spartan X” by Keith Morrison plays as the crowd excitedly cheer for the JET General Manager Yoko Kudo as she makes her way out to the ring with a microphone in hand. She seems to have a serious face on her face as the music dies down and she begins to speak.
Yoko Kudo: Thank you! Now I know this has been the second show in a row I’ve opened for all of us and but this is my final message until after Kyoto Spotlight. This is regarding the 4-on-4 elimination match between KAGUYA-Gun and Team JET, right now I’m gonna announce the members of Team JET.
The crowd cheers at the announcement as Yoko Kudo soon continues.
Yoko Kudo: I want the strongest and the best who represent the core values of Joshi Extreme Takeover when it comes to competing. And the four women I’ve chosen do just that for me and I know they will beat KAGUYA-Gun at the event. The members of Team JET will be Mizuki Nakata, Midori Miyamoto, Saint Saito, and Momoko Honda! These are the ones I believe are the best choices for Joshi Extreme Takeover and I hope KAGUYA-Gun are ready as this will be their last victory against JET!
“Spartan X” plays again as Yoko Kudo leaves the ring and we cut to a video package.
Voice: Who is Rio Kurokawa?
The picture comes to life. Grainy footage of a high school track meet starts to play. Among the competitors is a younger Rio. The caption at the bottom of the screen indicates that she’s competing in the 200 metre relay event. She takes a couple of breaths before she walks over to the starting blocks. The highlights then cut to the start of the race as Rio blazes out of the blocks. It doesn’t take longer before she passes all the other women up. She effortlessly breaks the tape and crosses the finish line. The camera shows the crowd cheering and going wild.
Voice: She’s a superior athlete. The gods blessed her with the gift of endurance, speed, and perseverance. Those gifts served her well during her track & field days. She was one of the fastest members of her high school. Those gifts didn’t vanish once she entered the realm of professional wrestling. Not at all. They grew and multiplied instead.
It wasn’t long before the scene switched. The camera then showed highlights from Rio’s first few matches in the sport. In one clip, she reversed an armdrag with a Judo throw. In another, she dropped her opponent with an impressive snap suplex.
Voice: She’s a superior wrestler. Her grandfather, Koji Kurokawa, wrestled all throughout Japan. He was a machine. Punch him, smack him; it was no matter. He would take it all in stride and continue fighting for hours. Her grandmother wrestled under the name Ayaka Hironaka. She was a dangerous woman. A violent woman in the ring. Her father, Keiji Kurokawa, carried the torch for his father. And of course, there was her mother, who wrestled under the name Rina Hirano. A strong warrior with an even mightier will, she became the ace of her home promotion and carried it out of the stratosphere.
A younger Rio takes a nasty powerbomb from a much larger who. Said woman goes for a pinfall, but Rio kicks out. The woman looks in shock as Rio sit up and defiantly shouts at her. The footage cuts to Rio springing to the top rope and hitting a moonsault.
Voice: Ayaka discovered that Rio had an affinity to wrestling at an early age. And so, she made sure that culmination of all the Kurokawa ring prowess was passed down to her granddaughter. Now she had those natural gifts and the ability to wrestle. What a hefty combination…
That old school footage fades from the screen. It’s soon replaced by footage of Joshi Extreme Takeover’s RISE Grand Prix Finals. The camera zooms in on her face as she verbally blasts Bianca Davis and Veronica Taylor during the press conference.
Voice: She’s a woman who doesn’t hold back. Not her holds. She locks them on to submit. Not her strikes. She shots to kill. Not her words. They are raw, unbridled.
Footage shows Rio and Sharayah Endo putting the work to the Pretty Committee at the RISE Grand Prix Finals.
Voice: Who is Rio Kurokawa?
The camera cuts to a present day shot of Rio in a wrestling ring. A dark hoodie is covering her face. She turns towards the camera as it zooms in on her face. Rio then lowers her hood and runs her fingers through her hair. It isn’t long before she begins speaking in Japanese.
Rio Kurokawa: I’m going to be a maverick in this sport. I’m going to help take this industry to new heights, just like my foremothers and forefathers. Those initial steps? They’re going to happen here in JET. All these little dumbasses that are running around thinking they are the best to ever do it? You can move the hell out of my way…
A smirk comes to her face.
Rio Kurokawa: Or get laid the fuck out. Your choice. And honestly? I hope you all chose the latter. It’ll make shit so much more fun.
She pauses for a moment.
Rio Kurokawa: Boo me, if you’d like. Cheer me, if you want to. But really? It doesn’t matter to me. I’m not here to be loved. In fact, I’m only here for one thing—to create that long-lasting legacy.
The camera lingers on her face for a moment until it fades out.
Singles Match: Tori DeVil vs. Bianca Davis
The match started red hot for Tori who was making her debut for Joshi Extreme Takeover. The commentators hyped up that she was the only foreigner to be truly trained by Miss Manami and the crowd saw that in action as Bianca Davis wasn’t in her comfort zone. The match didn’t last long as Veronica Taylor interfered for her tag partner. Both of them began to beat down on Tori as suddenly from the back, Mitra Marvel comes out to make the save to the surprise of the crowd. Immediately the PC is pushed back as they decide to duck and leave immediately saying that they don’t want to get involved anymore.
(winner - n/a)
(Commercial Break)
Scene opens as we go to a pre-recorded footage of an amateur camera while it recorded JET dojo that is nobody there.
Rei Kagura: This dojo seems empty right now, I think everyone is already going home.
Kyoko Watanabe: Yeah, that also means it's time for that weird kid to start training on her own. Let's accompany her.
Stela Delgato: I have no idea what you're talking about, but okay.
Stela, who holds a camera seems doesn't understand Japanese as both of her fellow KAGUYA-gun mate keep talking to one another. After a couple moment of searching, they finally find the target they were talking about. Stela captured Tomoyo who is training alone, practicing her striking skill in the punching bag.
Kyoko Watanabe: Well, well, well.... look what we have here, it's the quirky weirdo Tomoyo, trying to get away from everyone and decided to train alone.
Rei Kagura: What's the matter? Oh, I forgot... you don't have any friends. You are weird so nobody would ever get close to you! hahaha....
Tomoyo suddenly stops her exercise and look at these three with a furious look.
Rei Kagura: Oh, this weirdo seems angry, huh? What are you gonna do, Tomoyo? You're gonna punch all of us?
Kyoko Watanabe: Come on, we dare you! Punch me, or punch Rei! Your pick.
Tomoyo looks like already on her boiling point as Rei and Kyoko are pushing her and talk trash in front of her but suddenly they hear a high-pitched voice coming from the door.
"Never fear, Miracle is here!"
It was Masami, trying to save her friends once again from KAGUYA-gun's bully. She is swinging her baton while doing a pose like a superheroine before she yells and about to charge at Rei and friends.
Miracle Masami: HIYAAAAAA!!!!!
Masami approaches the camera but Stela dodges and trips Masami using her leg, making her fall down and got humiliated.
Rei Kagura: Hahahaha.... look at this another weirdo trying to save her weirdo friend. What a bunch of weirdos, come on guys, let's get out of here!
Rei, Kyoko, and Stela keep laughing at both Tomoyo and Masami as they are now leaving them both. Stela captures their last moment as Tomoyo is helping Masami to stand while slapping the back of her head, the camera returns at the ring as Kyoko and Stela are already in the ring, laughing at the footage.
Singles Match: Miracle Masami vs. Kyoko Watanabe
Kyoko using the first half of the match to intimidate Masami while pushing her head and stomping her, almost act like a bully. Masami has no chance to fight and every time she has a chance, Stela is there to ruin it as she keeps interrupting the match and distracting Masami. After several failed attempts to bounce back, Masami finds an opening while Kyoko goes for an Irish Whip, Masami ducks Kyoko's kick and then launches herself into Stela who is outside of the ring Kyoko instantly gets out of the ring but gets a kick from Masami instead. Masami rolls Kyoko back into the ring as she also gets in. Masami waits for Kyoko to gets up as she hits the Miracle Rotation, thus pinning Kyoko to victory.
(Winner - Miracle Masami)
Scene then goes to the locker room as Mizuki is there, sitting on the bench while the other side of the bench we see Saint Saito, who looks like... sleeping? on a bench. Then Midori enters the locker room with a concern look as Mizuki also stands up.
Midori Miyamoto: Ai-chan's injury.... is pretty severe. It might needs at least 6 months to recover.
Mizuki Nakata: Dammit!
Midori Miyamoto: Then, what are we gonna do? How can we get a rematch clause if Ai-chan is out for a long time?
Mizuki doesn't answer that as she takes time to think. After a few moment, Mizuki comes out with a conclusion.
Mizuki Nakata: well.... I don't think we should issue a rematch clause for that Trios title.
Midori looks confused and still have no idea what she's talking about.
Midori Miyamoto: eeh?
Mizuki Nakata: Yes, I think this is the right moment for us to end this partnership and finally walk in separate ways. Listen, Midori-san. It was such an honor to work together with you. We came from someone who doesn't know each other and I can see your high potential to be somebody more than just a team player. And after this, when our partnership is all done, you can walk towards your single goals and nobody can stop you. When you walk alone, maybe Kudo will put more attention on you. You are free now, nobody will stand in your way anymore. Don't worry about Ai. She will find a way as well.
Midori Miyamoto: I understand. Very well.... I'll do what you say. But allow me to fight together with you for the very last time in Kyoto Spotlight. After that, then we can finally walk in different path.
Momoko Honda: Momo-chan will be on your side as well!
Momoko Honda then join the scene as she looks at Midori and Mizuki while they look back at her.
Momoko Honda: Momo-chan impressed with your bond together and in this match, Momo-chan will not disappoint Mizuki-san and Midori-san.
Mizuki Nakata: Very well, Let's fight together! Right, Saito....san?
All three of them looking at Saint Saito who is indeed sleeping. But not long after that, Saito opens her eyes and look at them three while taking a long breath. She gets up and walk past those three partners while yawning.
Saint Saito: ....so troublesome.
Mizuki, Midori and Momoko look at each other while shrugging their shoulders as the commercial break rolls.
6-woman Tag Match: Stacy DeVille, Kimiko Hayabusa, and Lena Skye vs. The Blondetourage (Candice Blair, Vanessa Santiago, and Virginia Atwood)
Tonight’s semi-main was meant to set up for Kyoto’s two big singles match outside of the main event as we got the first interaction between Kimiko and Vanessa since their RISE GP Night 1 match and Stacy DeVille and Candice Blair were having their first in-ring interaction since RISE GP Finals night. Lena Skye and Stacy DeVille got in the early stages working well against Virginia Atwood but that didn’t last long as Lena became the target of the Blondetourage’s attack. Frequent tags and targeting the right leg of Lena was their game plan, it was working perfectly until Lena was able to tag in Kimiko Hayabusa who immediately brought it back for her team. The RISE GP winner’s high flying offense was able to get the crowd in favor of the faces as she squared off against the Academy Champion, Candice Blair. The match raged on and we soon got to the finish as Kimiko didn’t see the blind tag from Vanessa Santiago who immediately hits a quick Cuban Missile Crisis (Jumping Switch Kick) as it gets the win for The Blondetourage and Santiago now has pinned Hayabusa on two separate occasions.
Winner - Blondetourage (Candice Blair, Vanessa Santiago, and Virginia Atwood)
(Commercial Break for LAW’s Limelight event!)
We return from commercial as a video package plays hyping the career of Nina Sanada.
Voice-over: Being destined for greatness isn’t enough, you need to grab hold and take it. That’s what could be said about the Monarch of JET and current JET World Champion Nina Sanada. Starting her career in small Japanese promotions until she was a part of the mass exodus that led to the creation of Joshi Extreme Takeover. One of three original young stars for the early years of JET lead to her becoming the Ace of JET even before the promotion was even half a year old.
Shots of Nina Sanada capturing her first JET World Championship in August of 2006 and holding the belt for 418 days.
Voice-over: 5 reigns as JET World Champion, the longest world title reign in company history at the age of just 25, the record for most successful defenses for both single reign and combined reigns. Not only that but two-time JET Tag Team Champions, two RISE Grand Prix wins under her name, three-time Joshi of the year and two match of the year awards.
A shot at all of Nina’s accomplishments is shown as we see that even though the JET Roster has changed, it hasn’t stopped Nina Sanada from being at the top of JET.
Voice-over: For twelve years one name has been constant for Joshi Extreme Takeover and as long as the Queen reigns that will stay true. No Black Heart, Chosen One or Pink Princess will get in the way of her.

Anything Mizuki was able to break free, KAGUYA was there to bring her back down and get the match in her favor. That was true until KAGUYA missed an Uraken and got German Suplexed by Mizuki Nakata!
