JET 12: Shin-Kiba 1st RING, Tokyo, Japan
A highlight from the amazing Kyoto Spotlight pay-per-view showcasing the talent that JET at the amazing KBS Hall. KAGUYA’s win against Nina Sanada for the JET World Championship was showcased along with Candice Blair retaining her Academy Championship and Kimiko keeping her RISE GP Contract with her. We now move on from the video package to a live and packed crowd at Shin-Kiba 1st Ring as “Garasu no Ware!” by Keyakizaka46 plays as the intro.
Hanako Nakamoto: Ladies and gentlemen, after what was a fantastic PPV in the form of Kyoto Spotlight we are officially on the road to Cinderella Story in Nippon Budokan! I’m “Ironheart” Hanako Nakamoto and this is Maki Fujioka, we’re back for JET 12 in Shin-Kiba!
Maki Fujioka: It’s always exciting to be back in Shin-Kiba, the atmosphere is different from most places in Japan but you are right, we’re now officially on the road to JET’s biggest event ever but first we have a Collision Course with all the IJWF members to deal with. See what I did there?
Hanako lets out a sigh as soon “Full Force” by Rider Chips plays as the Shin-Kiba crowd cheers. Out from the back arrives Azumi Goto who has a smile on her face. She soon makes her way down to the ring and enters as Asuka Kuromachi soon hands the JET President her mic. “Full Force” soon dies down as there’s a small chant of Azumi going around the Shin-Kiba.
Azumi Goto: Thank you all for the warm welcome! It’s been a long while since I’ve got the chance to stand in a JET ring and I guess a lot has happened since then. I’m currently on the top of my game in America and the OWA Queen of The Ring. Enough about me though, JET has done so well since my time away. RISE Grand Prix and Kyoto Spotlight went smoothly as we’re now on the road to the Budokan. We, of course, have one-half of our main event set as Kimiko Hayabusa will challenge the JET World Champion, whoever that may be. Before all that I think we need to talk about the elephant in the room. Collision Course. Cameron Ella Ava made the announcement about this big event having Team LAW vs. Team JET 4-0n-4 match and I want to let Cameron and LAW know who will represent this company. I’ve already got three out of the four competitors set. I’m looking at this team that Cameron has set and it looks dangerous, I need the same kind of talent for JET to really stand up to LAW. I’ve chosen JUNKO, Momoko Honda and RISE GP winner Kimiko Hayabusa for the first three slots. The last spot is undecided but do keep note that I will be paying attention closely on tonight’s show. Maybe the last member of Team JET will be on tonight’s show.
The crowd let out approval of the cheers for the team that Azumi has set up to counter Team LAW.
Azumi Goto: Myself and Cameron have also talked about special title defenses for all of the LAW champions. Of course, April is busy with Kristina Von Doom of Rose City Wrestling. Meanwhile, it means that Kayla Winters and Sweet Roxy or “Sweet Winters” don’t have a challenger for Collision Course but I finally got the two competitors lined up and ready to go. Rio Kurokawa and Saint Saito vs. Sweet Winters is officially set for Collision Course and it will be of course for the Lethal Tag Team Championship! Finally for my former co-worker Daisy Thrash. You have the best that LAW has and you asked for the Ace of JET. Well, I’m sorry but the self-proclaimed Ace is busy with something important right now and that’s defending her title against someone already. You asked for someone who’s willing to give you the fight of your life? Well, I have the perfect challenger, she’s someone who has fought to climb her way up and has done an amazing job at getting up with each failure. I’ve selected someone who definitely will give you the fight of your life and her name is MITRA MARVEL! That’s all from me, enjoy tonight’s show everyone and I hope to see you all soon!
The crowd cheer as Azumi announces Daisy Thrash vs. Mitra Marvel for the Collision as soon Azumi leaves the ring and heads to the back.
Hanako Nakamoto: What an announcement from President Goto, not only are we getting Rio Kurokawa and Saint Saito vs. Sweet Winters for the Lethal Tag Team Championship but also Mitra Marvel vs. Daisy Thrash will all be happening at Collision Course!
Maki Fujioka: January 20th, 2019 that’s when this event is going down and I can’t wait! How about we get started with tonight’s first match of the evening.
Opening Contest: Corrina Grey vs. Saya Okita
Tonight’s opening contest featured one-third of the JET Trios Champions Corrina Grey take on JET Dojo young girl and 16-year old Saya Okita. The tale of the tape was clearly on the side of Grey who outclassed Saya in terms of size, strength, and experience. That advantage was on display as Grey was not flinching at all to Saya’s shoot kicks and every time the young girl was going for any sort of offense it was easily countered by the Blondetourage member. Soon Saya ran right into a Bicycle kick from Corrina which spelled the end for the young girl as Corrina immediately gets her up for a Sin City Plunge! Saya Okita’s valiant challenge against Corrina Grey ends in defeat.
(Winner - Corrina Grey)
(Commercial Break for Lethal Angels of Wrestling)
We soon return to ringside as soon “Holy War 21” plays to a negative reception and out from the back arrives KAGUYA with the JET World Championship on her shoulder. The NEW JET World Champ was accompanied by Rei Kagura. The group soon enter the ring as KAGUYA raises the championship in the air for all to see now. Soon her theme song dies down as the crowd continues their negative reception for the champ.
Rei Kagura: SHUT UP AND PAY RESPECT FOR THE JET WORLD CHAMP!
The crowd continues as KAGUYA tells her stablemate to calm down as she soon takes the microphone from her hand and looks around at the crowd.
KAGUYA: Boo me, continue to show your negative hatred towards me but in the end, it won’t stop that I’m JET World Champ and the new ruler of this company. Yoko Kudo, Azumi Goto, Stephanie Matsuda list any other names and I’ll tell you that they don’t have the power to stop me. I hold the most prestigious championship in the entire IJWF which means no one can stop me regardless of that person’s status. I am the undisputed queen of the IJWF and that will continue to happen until the end of time. As long as I have my army there won’t be any man, woman or even god to stop me from ruling over this company. I will continue to reign as JET World Champ and till the end of time, I will stand. I defeated JET’s present, I defeated JET’s past, and now at Collision Course, I plan to defeat JET’s future.
The crowd boo as there’s a small chant of Tomoyo Hirate’s name around Shin-Kiba.
KAGUYA: Tomoyo Hirate, you dare challenge me for this championship. Think about this for a second I have held this belt already than your mentor and she gave it up to ruin her career in America. I stand here as the only Daughter of Manami that really matters anymore. Stephanie Matsuda? Gone, nowhere to be seen in this world as she’s somehow disappeared from the face of this plant. Your mentor? Killing her life away by continuing to wrestle in that wretched place called America. Meanwhile, I stand here as the JET World Champion. You are the future, trained by Azumi Goto herself and you reigned as Academy Champion for nearly six months with an undefeated streak. Now what? You’re struggling for form. You decided to waste your career away because you couldn’t get the job done. Just because you beat me once doesn’t mean that you can turn back time and defeat me again. Now that this precious prize is around my waist I won’t ever defeat from the likes of you. Someone who carries herself for being trained here is something I despise, I hate everything about Manami’s legacy and you hold onto it just like Azumi Goto and Stephanie Matsuda. I plan to burn everything that she had created and replaced with my emblem on it! Keep that in mind Hirate, I plan to end you myself! And finally a message to you Kimiko Hayabusa, you seem all excited that you’re now headlining Cinderella Story but I want you to pay close attention to.
“Holy War 21” plays again as KAGUYA drops her microphone and leaves with Rei Kagura as the two of them head towards the back.

The Swarm (JUNKO/Saiko Hotaru) vs. Pretty Committee (Bianca Davis/Veronica Taylor)
The second contest of tonight saw JUNKO and Saiko Hotaru taking on the Pretty Committee aka Bianca Davis and Veronica Taylor. The match unexpectedly one-sided as the Team JET member JUNKO was tearing into PC. Davis was hit early with a Calypso (Running Somersault Neckbreaker) by JUNKO. Soon JUNKO went to work on Davis breaking her down during this entire match. Complete display of dominance from JUNKO as she doesn’t even need the help of Saiko Hotaru until the end as The Swarm finishes the match with Firefly Extinction!
(Winner - JUNKO and Saiko Hotaru)
The camera pans backstage to a studio as Kimiko Hayabusa sits in a chair with her RISE GP Contract Briefcase is on her lap and she looks right at the camera.
Kimiko Hayabusa: 2018 has been a long road and we’re finally at the end of it. A road that has seen some ups and downs but at least it’s ending with an up. At Kyoto Spotlight I retained my GP Contract and was able to come out on top. Now my path to fulfilling my destiny of becoming JET World Champion. KAGUYA or even Tomoyo Hirate won’t be able to stand up to that, I promise.
Kimiko Hayabusa: Cinderella Story is JET’s biggest event ever and I’m going to be closing the show in the main event for the JET World Championship. It seems like a journey coming full circle, and everyone seems to be talking about this new era for Joshi Extreme Takeover and it’s not gonna be the blondes, or KAGUYA-Gun or anyone will bring it to exist regardless of who stands in my way at Cinderella Story. Soon when we reach the Budokan, the Pink Princess will become the new Queen of JET because all it really takes is one Falcon’s Flight for me to secure the win. All that is true regardless of who I am facing. Whether it be talent from JET or Team LAW at Collision Course, I don’t plan to slow down especially with the biggest match of my career coming up soon.
Soon Hayabusa gets up from her chair and leaves the studio room as the camera now cuts to commercial.
Semi Main: Rio Kurokawa vs. Au Nobu w/Kyoko Watanabe
Tonight’s semi-main event saw KAGUYA-Gun’s Mad Dog Au Nobu take on Rio Kurokawa. Of course, Kurokawa was just announced to be competing for the Lethal Tag Team Championship pairing with Saint Saito to take on Sweet Roxy and Kayla Winters. An amazing opportunity but first they had to get over the bump that was Au Nobu. The early stages of this match were very much in Nobu’s favor as the mad dog was able to get the advantage thanks to Watanabe being at ringside. Even though that was the case Kurokawa was able to stay in the match and counter-attack. The soon ended after ten minutes after Kurokawa was able to hit a Ketsueki Toll.
(Winner - Rio Kurokawa)
(Commercial Break)
The scene fades into JET Academy Champion, Candice Blair in a studio. The blonde is looking at the camera right in front of her with a smirk on her face. The JET Academy Championship is glistening underneath all of the shining lights.
Candice Blair: At Kyoko Spotlight, I accomplished what I had intended to do and that was shut Stacy Deville up and retain the JET Academy Championship. With this title reign, I have proved to not only be the best JET Academy Champion but the best JET Champion of the modern era. I have defeated women such as Stacy Deville, Tomoyo Hirate and Ai Moe. I have defeated some of the best talents in Japan and made them look like nothing in the ring. I exposed these women and their skills in this ring and made them realize that they’re nothing in comparison to me. But, I didn’t need a wrestling match to prove that I was better than them. Those Joshis were only fooling themselves when they believed that they would take this championship off of me.
Candice Blair: Yet, here I am. For over 173 days, I have carried this promotion on my back. I have solidified my place as the Ace of Joshi Extreme Takeover. BIANCA? Nina Sanada? KAGUYA? Oh please, those women could never hold a candle to me and what I have accomplished here in the past several months in this promotion. There is no one under the age of thirty, who has created as much buzz and attention for this promotion than Candice Blair. This is why I’m on the posters. This is why my matches have the most view on the IJWF Network. This is why gaijins bother coming to Japan. It’s not because of the women who were born here. It’s not because of women who were shoved down everyone’s throats. It’s because of me. These people pay money to see me. These people see a gorgeous blonde with talent and there hooked on the spot. When people think of JET, they don’t go to women like Nina Sanada. They don’t even talk about KAGUYA and her big win. They think of Candice Blair. They think of the woman, who made this promotion something to watch. Candice Blair equals ratings. JET is one of the best promotions in Japan right now. Perhaps, in all of women’s wrestling and JET has me to thank for that. JET should treat me like the Ace I am because without me, this promotion goes back to the grave like it did before I came along.
Candice Blair: For Collision Course, I personally don’t care who challenges for the championship next. It can be from LAW, Rose City, Big Apple, SAKURA Pro, SSS or even right here in JET, that person is going to be the next victim of Candice Blair, The Ace of JET.
(The scene is with Candice Blair with a huge smirk on her face as she raises the JET Academy Championship up a bit before it transitions to the next scene.)
Main Event: JET Academy Championship Title Opportunity; Midori Miyamoto vs. Mizuki Nakata
The bell rings as both of the competitors begin their match with a handshake, showing their sportsmanship. They both begin to circle around the arena and starts doing a rollup battle. There’s a brief technical battle between these two as Mizuki transitions into a headlock then drops Midori to the mat and goes for a headlock. Midori with a quick thinking able to counter it by kipping up and lands on her both feet. As Mizuki approach, Midori kits her with a Hip Toss then follows up with an elbow drop, but Mizuki rolls up and makes Midori to hit nothing. While Midori is on her knees, Mizuki is about to go for a superkick but Midori blocks that kick with her both hands. Midori gets up and pushes Mizuki away as she launches her own Superkick. Mizuki rolls aside but then both Midori and Mizuki go for some dropkick as it barely hits each other and lands on one leg as they look at each other, following by a loud applause from the crowd.
Both Mizuki and Midori got some back-and-forth technical action as they both showcasing their hard-hitting actions but despite some of that, Mizuki is now in the control of the match. Midori recieves a lot of hard knees on her midsection and that damages her a lot. After a couple of strikes, Midori goes down as Mizuki goes for a pin. However, Midori is able to survive that. While in the middle of her offense, Midori somehow reverse it and turns into her own momentum. Midori gives Mizuki some quick attacks as even Mizuki keeps getting up, Midori keeps bombarding her with her kicks. And ends her offensives with a BURNING (Two alternating slaps, followed by a right-hand palm strike) combos. Midori goes for a pin but Mizuki still able to kick out. The match still continues as at the end of the match, Mizuki somehow going strong again as she’s about to do a Laniakea on Midori but Midori let’s go off her Samoan Drop clutch and escapes from behind. Midori grabs Mizuki’s waist and pushes her into the corner, going for Catalyst Chift (Chaos Theory Suplex) but not pinning her yet. Midori releases her suplex and wait for Mizuki to get up on her feet. Midori then jumps in for her other finisher, Shattercryst (Jumping Roundhouse) as a statement for Mizuki to stay down and out. Midori goes for a cover as Mizuki has no more effort to kick out of those finisher barrage.
(Winner - Midori Miyamoto)
As the match is over, Midori celebrates her match and rallies the people that she’s finally getting a title shot by beating somebody for it in a grueling match. After climbing the turnbuckle, Midori sees Mizuki is hurting and still laying at the bottom turnbuckle. She approaches her former Trios partner and help her to stand.up. Midori then hugs Mizuki while Mizuki smiles and hugs her back. While still hurts, Mizuki raises Midori’s hand for a celebration once again, thus, ending tonight’s show.
