JET 14: LAW Arena, California, USA.
A recap of JET 13 with highlights of all matches that aired are shown while Keyakizaka46’s “Garasu Wo Ware” plays meanwhile soon the camera moves to a shot of the LAW Arena where JET 14 will be held tonight. The American fans cheering as LAW’s Ring Announcer Natasha Night was here tonight to cover for her JET counterpart.
Hanako Nakamoto: The first ever JET American show is here! We’re finally in the states and this tour’s name finally works, JET is here to be a “Hit In The USA”! I’m ‘Ironheart’ Hanako Nakamoto and as usual my commentary partner, Maki Fujioka is here with me. What a time to be alive Maki? Our first major show in the USA in so long, last time we were here Stephanie Matsuda was still the Sky Princess and you were probably in college or something like that.
Maki Fujioka: Amazing to think that, Hanako-san! What a time to be a fan of Women’s Wrestling! In 10 days, we start the most ambitious crossover since Avengers Infinity Wars with IJWF’s first major supershow Collision Course but tonight we are in the beautiful LAW Arena to host our go-home show! And what a better way to kick things off with a contract signing for the JET World Championship match at Collision Course! Take it away Natasha!
Camera pans back to ringside as Natasha is ready to go with her mic in hand. A table has been already set up for the contract signing.
Natasha Night: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome JET’s General Manager Yoko Kudo!
“Spartax X” by Keith Morrison plays as out from the back comes Yoko Kudo wearing her business suit, she looks at the cheering crowd while making her way down to the ring with a contract in her hand.
Yoko Kudo: Thank you for being here everyone!
The LAW Arena gives the JET GM some cheers as she continues to speak.
Yoko Kudo: We are so excited to be here and bring you all the women’s wrestling from Japan. Joshi Extreme Takeover has been setting the standard of greatness for twelve and soon to be thirteen years. We’ve had legends, icons and young stars make their way to states to either compete in other promotions, make regular tours or even come over on learning excursions. So for us doing this show and even Collision Course is a big deal, it means JET is able to showcase to the world and to those who have been introduced to our product. Of course, we’ve got our Academy Title Match and Trios Title match alongside the other bouts but I think people will truly see the best side of JET in the World Championship match between Tomoyo Hirate and KAGUYA. Two strikers are widely known for kicking hard and hitting stiff! Without a further ado now first may I introduce you all to the challenger… Tomoyo Hirate!
“Amida no Ito" by DracoVirgo as Tomoyo Hirate makes her way from the gorilla position to a loud reception. She is wearing a simple hoodie over her normal clothes and there’s a serious look on her face.
Maki Fujioka: At the age of 16, Tomoyo Hirate arrived in JET and immediately was placed under the care of then-Ace and current JET President Azumi Goto. Now at the age of 21, she stands just one signature to officially have her first JET World Championship match. Incredible isn’t it. 2018 was a wild year for Tomoyo, starting off the year as a dominate JET Academy Champ before dropping the belt to current champ Candice Blair, she struggled for form until picking a massive win against her own mentor Azumi Goto at Goddess Dream, a solid RISE GP and now she is here. This is growth to superstardom that only a few legends have experienced before her.
As soon as Tomoyo enters the ring “Amida no Ito” fades and Yoko Kudo begins to speak again.
Yoko Kudo: Finally, she is the current reigning, defending 27th JET World Champion… Ladies and Gentlemen, KAGUYA!
“Holy War” by Eigenkreation plays throughout the building as the vocal fans boo the JET World Champ makes her way to the ring wearing formal attire and even some aviators along with her prized possession on her shoulder.
Hanako Nakamoto: KAGUYA, the Black Heart General of the KAGUYA-Gun faction did the unthinkable back at Kyoto Spotlight. She defeated the legendary Nina Sanada in singles action for that JET World Championship, the very prize she holds close to her shoulder right now. KAGUYA’s 2018 can be described as massive, she returned from an injury and founded a violent army. KAGUYA-Gun’s influence continues to grow as now they have the biggest prize for this company under their possession.
KAGUYA soon enters the ring as she raises her title in the air with a cocky grin right in front of her challenger. KAGUYA soon is handed a microphone as she looks at the crowd before speaking in Japanese.
KAGUYA: Kudo, it seems that you’re finally nice but let me be the one to talk from here on out. I have no care for the American fans here right now, they probably don’t even understand a word I’ve said. I’m just here to sign that contract and give you the biggest warning of your life, Hirate. This Lone Wolf act, I don’t buy it like imagine everything you’ve done. You beat Stela and Kyoko but it wasn’t on your own but alongside with your best friend, you can’t hide the fact that without certain people around you there wouldn’t be a Tomoyo Hirate. Hell, you’re the future Ace in the eyes of Azumi Goto and why? Because she trained you to be a born killer but that little idea might have gotten too far in your head. You think you might be some tough warrior but on the inside, you’re some little girl… a pathetic excuse for some lone wolf, more like a lonely little pup with no one to call out for help. I’ll shred you apart at Collision Course, my Army is far dangerous than anything you can think of, in a battle like this you don’t have the backup to last. So after your loss, why don’t you go and spend some time with your mentor in America. I hear she’s finally doing something with her life.
KAGUYA soon signs the contract before directly looking at her opponent and mouthes “sign the damn contract”. Tomoyo wanting to speak now picks up the mic.
Tomoyo Hirate: I find this a bit amusing that you think you can beat me. Everyone seems to be wanting to look at the past, Person A beat Person B during the RISE GP to get a title shot and sure I did that as well but unlike those people I know I can end up beating you. I’m young, hungry and absolutely determined to beat and finally what I consider almost a birthright, holding on to that belt as I call myself the next JET WORLD CHAMPION!
Tomoyo after her fiery words threw the mic and signed the contract for her title bout against KAGUYA as she soon got in the face of the Champ. The two of them were mere inches from each other as Tomoyo’s serious face was only met with a smirk from the JET World Champ. Soon the camera cuts to commercial as we’re left with the shot of champion and challenger continuing their staredown.
(Commercial Break for Cinderella Story 2019)
Singles/Opening Match: Stela Delgato vs. Amalia Martinez
In a great opener between KAGUYA-Gun’s wildcard and JET’s first ever American young girl, Amalia Martinez was getting a shot to compete on a big show. The two of them went off early with Amalia even getting some good offense in, she was showing her potential but Stela was able to turn it around with South Haven Healer. After a quick Delgato Destroyer, we had a submission win for Stela.
(Winner - Stela Delgato)
The cameras cut backstage. Saint Saito and Rio Kurokawa are seated together with microphone in their hands. Rio soon begins speaking in Japanese
Rio Kurokawa: Collision Course. It’s the event that everyone has been clamoring for, or at least that’s what they claim. Everyone organization under the International Joshi Wrestling Foundation will be represented. Big Apple Wrestling. Joshi Extreme Takeover. Lethal Angels of Wrestling. Rose City Wrestling. Sakura Shoujo Stampede—
She pauses.
Rio Kurokawa: But can we be honest for a minute? The casual fans aren’t going to watch every single match. No. They’re going to look in on the IJWF Championship match and the elimination match. After that? They’re going to go on the merry ways.
There’s another pause.
Rio Kurokawa: Fools…
She shakes her head.
Rio Kurokawa: Those two matches will be great, no doubt. But me and Saito’s match?
She lets out a small laugh.
Rio Kurokawa: Well, that one is going to be a bit special. Me and Saito will be going up against Sweet Winters with the LAW Tag Team Championships on the line.
She turns and looks at Saint Saito.
Rio Kurokawa: You know what the best part about of all this is?
Saint Saito: That no one thinks we stand a chance?
Saito shrugs her shoulders.
Saint Saito: Shit. That’s what people at home are probably thinking. And I’d bet money that what Sweet Winters is thinking. Roxy? Kayla? You think this is going to be some sort of cake walk, right? That you’re just going to come in and trounce us, right?
She shakes her head.
Saint Saito: You’re dead wrong!
There’s a small pause.
Saint Saito: Me? I’m Saint Fucking Saito, the New Ace of Professional Wrestling. And Rio Kurokawa? She’s one of the stiffest people in this sport. And although we haven’t tagged much in the ring, we are very familiar with each other.
She nods her head.
Saint Saito: There’s been a connection between me and her ever since we met. And we happened to met in the ring. We train together. We thrive together. And this time? We’re going to go out there and kick your asses together.
A small smirk comes to Rio’s face.
Rio Kurokawa: Roxy? Kayla? You’re not just going to run over us. Get that out of your minds right now. We’re coming for those championship belts. And we’re coming for you.
The camera lingers on them both before it fades out.
Mizuki Nakata vs. Bianca Davis
Mizuki takes control at a couple minutes of the match, almost going for a dominant fashion until when Mizuki is about to do a Shinkansen knee strike at the bottom of the corner, Mizuki shows a slight hesitation to execute it for some reason, buying some time until Veronica Taylor got involved to interfere the match, buying more time for her partner to got recovered once again. After Veronica is done, Bianca is ambushing Mizuki and keep giving chap shots at Mizuki, taking control of the next minutes for a while. With couples of dirty moves, Bianca keeps her momentum over Mizuki until Mizuki gives a quick BlockBuster on Bianca and ends the match with a Hyperion (Diving Meteora Knee Strikes).
(Winner - Mizuki Nakata)
After the match we soon move to a shot of Natsu Toyama in a studio alone ready for an interview, she looks focused at the moment and begins to speak.
Natsu Toyama: It’s been so long since I’ve been featured on a JET show and now Collision Course is ten days away which means I am ten days away from the biggest match of my career. The moment is almost near. I think there’s a lot of expectations set on me to do well especially since I was the first name announced for this bout back at Goddess Dream. Just in general the expectations set on the world by so many people, being the daughter of Miss Manami that alone but then being trained by so many amazing people. All of whom who have helped my evolution from a young girl to what I have become now. I will show my evolution and my growth, my mom once who ruled the Japanese Wrestling as the Goddess and now I’m gonna outdo her with one step further. I’m gonna continue her kingdom but my rule will be over the entire world. At Collision Course, the people I face will see that.
Natsu after her statement takes her leave as the camera soon cuts to commercial.
(Commercial Break)
We return from commercial to see members of the LAW roster at ringside as fans in the front row watching the show, more importantly, the members of Team LAW aka Jessica Rose, Sidney Knight, Hayley Valentine, and Roni De Vil along with Lethal Tag Team Champs Sweet Winters but they are far away from “Sugar and Spice” especially after this past episode of LAW.
Main Event/Special Trios Match: JUNKO, Kimiko Hayabusa and Momoko Honda vs. Saint Saito, Rio Kurokawa, and Midori Miyamoto.
There was a lot of tension in the air for this match as Kimiko Hayabusa and Momoko Honda didn’t trust their partner JUNKO for this match thanks to their previous run-ins with KAGUYA-Gun. JUNKO didn’t seem to care as she started off this match with another person she’s had multiple runs in with, Midori Miyamoto. The two of them squaring off too much excitement from the foreign fans, basic locks first as they were attempts to slow down the pace from both women. Having faced in a couple of trios match and more, both women were aware of the arsenal that the other had as soon Momoko is able to get a blind tag into the match. A rematch from the RISE Grand Prix 2018 as Momoko is probably looking to get some sort of minor payback for that loss. Momo-Chan is able to fire off some big kicks in the early going but soon Midori caught her leg and hits Momoko with a dragon screw.
Now Midori and co. were able to target Momoko’s leg throughout the match as they had kept her away from her corner for the match. The crowd had begun cheering Momoko as she kept trying to get to her partners! After 13 minutes of Momoko being singled out, she and Rio were in the ring as Kurokawa was looking for an Everest German Suplex but Honda was able to flip out of it as Rio went for it. Now Kurokawa rushes and she is hit with a Roundhouse Kick from Honda. Momoko is crawling to her corner as she is able to tag in Kimiko Hayabusa! The Pink Princess is in and she’s immediately going at it with Rio Kurokawa. She is laying in with forearms and follows it up with an Irish whip into the corner. Hayabusa rushes in and is able to hit with a running forearm. Rio is now down to a seated position as Kimiko rushes to the opposite side and back with a Heartache! Sweet Winters at ringside takes advantage one of their opponents being exhausted by rushing the ring and attacking their challengers with title belt shots!
(Winners - N/A)
Roxy and Kayla just ruined a perfect main event with their interference as Kimiko looks pissed off, she soon looks at the Lethal Tag Champs but now Team LAW, more important Jessica Rose jumps the barricade to calm down Kimiko and the rest of Team JET. She is immediately shoved for attempting to play peacemaker as this gets the other members of Team LAW rushing into the ring in defense of their tag partner. Kimiko is squaring off with Roni as two of them are shoving off until a brawl is broken loose. A stray punch from Sidney Knight lands on JUNKO as now both teams are going at it. The JET girls are getting overwhelmed as from the back comes Mizuki Nakata charging the ring with signature Kendo Stick in hand! She blocks a strike from Hayley and hits her with the Kendo Stick! Another shot to the back of Hayley as Mizuki is going berserk at the LAW attackers. Nakata like a one-woman army is sending everyone packing!
The LAW members roll out of the ring and up the ramp as now a fired up Mizuki gets the microphone. Meanwhile, on the ramp, Sweet Winters are demanding their tag belts be handed to them.
Mizuki Nakata: HEY TEAM LAW! We didn’t have a fourth member before tonight because I didn’t believe that I could be that member but after the stunt, your tag champs pulled. I realized that I have to be JET’s Defender from everything! KAGUYA-Gun, Blondetourage or whatever thinks it can ever pull something like this. Congrats Team LAW, you all sealed your faith by straight up pissing me off! I’ll… no WE’LL be seeing you four at Collision Course!
Mizuki spikes her mic as “Rage of Dust” by Spyair plays and you can see a look of happiness on the face of Momoko, and grins on both JUNKO and Kimiko Hayabusa. Mizuki looks at JUNKO and seemingly puts away all the animosity between the two of them in the past because of JET’s past with KAGUYA-Gun. Meanwhile, Rio Kurokawa, Saint Saito, and Midori join the four Team JET members. Saint and Kurokawa, in particular, are raising Sweet Winters’ Lethal Tag titles in the air for the champs to see. The final shot shows the seven JET girls standing side by side in unity as the JET and IJWF logos are shown ending the show!
