JET 15: Saitama Super Arena Community Center, Saitama
(JET begins with highlights of Collision Course, all the major victories such as Blondetourage beating Sakura-Gumi, KAGUYA beating Tomoyo Hirate, Midori Miyamoto being screwed out of an opportunity against Candice Blair and finally JUNKO being the sole survivor of the amazing main event between Team LAW and JET. Soon Keyakizaka46’s “Garasu Wo Ware” plays as JET is back home in Japan and we’ve got a packed Saitama Super Arena Community Arena.)
Hanako Nakamoto: After the two-night extravaganza that was Collision Course, it is time for JET to head on the road to Cinderella Story! Ladies and Gentlemen, my name is Hanako Nakamoto and I’ll be calling the action alongside the amazing Maki Fujioka.
Maki Fujioka: As always thank you so much, Hanako-san! It is time, the road to Cinderella Story has officially begun and I'm excited to be so close to calling my first Cinderella Story event alongside you. But before that, we have two months of JET Road to shows cover, including this one. Before we get to the action we have for you, our JET GM will have some word for all of our fans.
“Spartan X” by Keith Morrison plays as out from the back comes Yoko Kudo looking at the fans in the attendance who cheer for her. As she enters the ring, Asuka Kuromachi hands her the microphone.
Yoko Kudo: I want to thank everyone for making it tonight for JET 15, the first night of the “Cinderella Story Tour”. There’s a lot of things planned for you tonight, the two women who will be in the main event Cinderella Story are gonna be in tonight’s main event tag match. Other than that what I really wanted to talk about was the Biggest Dreamer Tournament and what it means for the eight-women in this tournament. Each one of the eight has the chance to create a legacy by being the first winner of this tournament, you also have the first rights to challenge for the JET World Championship. Your faith, ambitions, and dreams are in the hand of who wants it more.
That’s why I decided to dub it The Biggest Dreamer Tournament. I and Azumi Goto want to know who has goals, dreams and ambitions mean more. Who will fight for it and claim this tournament? And in terms of JET’s future, we’re going nowhere. After the success of Collision Course, all we can think of is getting more shows in America done but that’s near here or there. 2019 is looking to be the year of expansion for us and attempting to get more talent on board. That was all from me tonight, enjoy the show everyone!
“Spartan X” plays again as we cut to a commercial break.
(Commercial Break for the recently announced theme songs for Cinderella Story 2019, those being “Akai Wana” by LiSA and “Godspeed” by Momoiro Clover Z!)
Biggest Dreamer Tournament Round 1: Midori Miyamoto vs. Tori De Vil
After coming so close to winning the JET Academy Championship, Midori Miyamoto was focused on winning this tournament meanwhile her opponent was the extremely impressive Tori De Vil. The two of them fought back and forth with a couple of great near falls but at the end of the bout, Midori Miyamoto was able to stand tall thanks to a Shattercryst (Jumping Roundhouse). Midori defeats Tori and moves on to face the winner of Stacy vs. Mizuki.
(Winner - Midori Miyamoto)
The screen moves to some kind of amateur video recorder as we see Tomoyo is adjusting it on a tripod as she walks away and sits on the crater in some kind of warehouse.
Tomoyo Hirate: I lost. Yes, I lost. that stupid old hag won. But at what cost? On that match, I am the one who got all the praise since I fought so damn well on that match. While her? She might be raising that title in the end, but nobody seems to care about it. While they are celebrating in the middle of that ring, everybody is giving their ovation to me. And what's next for KAGUYA. Nobody seems to care either since all the attention is just simply shifted to Kimiko Hayabusa while KAGUYA there is just forgotten as she should be. But enough talking about KAGUYA, keep your eyes on me! I did lose at Collision Course, but does that stop me? No, not at all. I am still as fast, as strong and as smart as I will ever be. So you must be wondering, what's next for the Epsilon Prodigy. One thing that you should know that I am still hungry for the hunt. And if you want some detail of what future that I hold....
Tomoyo gets up from that crater, approaching the camera and brings it with her.
Tomoyo Hirate: .....just keep your eyes on me!
After that, Tomoyo turns of the camera, ends the scene.
Biggest Dreamer Tournament Round 1: Mizuki Nakata vs. Stacy DeVille
This matchup of the Biggest Dreamer Tournament saw the first time ever bout of JET’s Defender Mizuki Nakata vs. The Suplex Mom of Rose City Stacy DeVille. Both women were relentless in this match, trading blows one after another. The match raged one with both women trying to do everything to win but a reversed Lanikea attempt into a spike piledriver from Stacy spelled the end as DeVille followed it up with a DeVille Driver II (High Bridged Northern Lights Suplex)! A shocking elimination as Mizuki is out in round 1 meanwhile Stacy will face Midori on JET 17.
(Winner - Stacy DeVille)
As Stacy is celebrating, we see a disappointed Mizuki Nakata as she makes her way to the back. The camera cuts to Yoko Kudo talking to Azumi Goto in her office until suddenly JUNKO barges through the door with a furious look on her face.
Yoko Kudo: JUNKO, how dare you barge into our office like that?!
JUNKO: How dare I?! How dare you not include me in this tournament?! I won the JET vs LAW match for you and this filth of a promotion, maybe your vision is dying with old age Yoko but last I checked, I was the sole survivor of the 4-on-4 match and the reason why that so-called “team” won. At the end of it all, the night 1 show ended with me closing it. Yet here I am not given my opportunity to be in the tournament.
Yoko Kudo: You almost cost JET the match with your “KAGUYA-Gun for life” thing by getting Kimiko eliminated. You think I would ever give you a chance at a title after that stunt you pulled.
Soon Azumi Goto gets up from her chair and looks at JUNKO, there’s a grin on the face of the JET President.
Azumi Goto: I can’t give you a spot in the tournament but I have something interesting for you. A match at Cinderella Story against a certain someone, she’ll be making her return to JET after a long time and I think you should be the perfect opponent for her.
JUNKO: What’s in it for me?
Azumi Goto: An opportunity, a chance to finally step out of KAGUYA’s shadow as her second-in-command. You can finally surpass her if you end winning this match I have for you. And to make this even sweeter for you, if this match at Cinderella Story ends with you having your arm raised I will give you an Academy Title shot. How does that sound?!
Soon there’s a grin on the face of JUNKO as she nods.
JUNKO: So who is this victim I have to beat?
Azumi Goto: In due time, JUNKO. Talks have just begun with this opponent of yours, you’ll know your answer at JET 16.
JUNKO doesn’t respond but rather leaves as Yoko Kudo looks at Azumi Goto.
Azumi Goto: Trust me on this, Yoko-san. This is worth the risk I’m taking.
Yoko Kudo seems to simply go along with it as we cut back to ringside for the next match of the evening.
Semi Main: Mitra Marvel and Momoko Honda vs. KAGUYA-Gun (Kyoko Watanabe and Au Nobu)
The focus of this match was the two young talent in Honda and Kyoko. Mitra Marvel was still banged up from her match of the year candidate with Daisy Thrash. Both teams at one point where in control as the match soon sway on the side of Honda and Marvel after a hot tag from Momoko. She was on fire and the crowd was 100% behind her. Momoko was soon looking for an Earth-Quaker but Kyoko was able to get a surprising roll up and get the shock win for KAGUYA-Gun.
(Winners - Kyoko Watanabe and Au Nobu)
(COMMERCIAL BREAK PROMOTING LETHAL HEARTS WHICH IS SET TO AIR ON MARCH 24th!)
We return from commercial as we’re at ringside, soon “Uchiage Hanabi” by DAOKO × Kenshi Yonezu plays to a loud reception from the fans. For the first time since November 14th, Ai Moe was back in a Joshi Extreme Takeover ring. She makes her way down from the back and towards the ring.
Maki Fujioka: I’m still surprised that Ai Moe is back, there were reports that she was going to be out for more than six months but she made her return saving Midori Miyamoto from potentially being injured by Candice Blair and Corrina Grey.
Ai Moe is handed a microphone as she begins to talk with the crowd cheering her.
Ai Moe: It feels just right to be back in Joshi Extreme Takeover. It’s been far too long but I wanted to come back this early. Last time I was here, my shoulder was dislocated thanks to the Blondetourage. I was forced to sit on the sideline and told that it was going to be long road to recovery but I fought off the long process with one goal in mind. Getting my revenge against the Blondetourage, every time I’m close to achieving success there was always something that got in my way. When I was about to truly contend for the Academy Championship, Candice and Vanessa injured my arm. When I was close to winning the title at Goddess Dream, Corrina Grey took both me and my friends out to give Candice the win. Do you all see the constant?
It’s always been Candice Blair and her Blondetourage! Every time Candice and her stablemates have tried to ruin a moment for me. They took the Trios Championship that Mizuki, Midori and I held with honor and pride. So I make my intentions clear right now, I want to face Candice Blair for the Academy Championship. She had her bodyguard and allies take away my title, now I will rip away her Academy Championship. Knowing Candice Blair, she probably believes that I don’t deserve the JET Academy Championship match against her at Cinderella Story but you listen to me Candice, I will go through hell and back if it means I can take away your championship!
Ai Moe drops the mic as the crowd sees the passionate fire in her eyes, she begins to leave the ring as we cut back to the commentary table.
Hanako Nakamoto: It seems the challenge has been set by Ai Moe, now we have to see if Candice Blair decides to respond to this challenge. There’s something Ai Moe right now that’s different, the JET’s Ultimate Underdog is fired up and wants to really become the Academy Champion. Now, ladies and Gentlemen, we’ve got one more commercial as up next is our main event Tag match.
(Commercial Break for IJWF Collision Course’s DVDs going on sale.)
Main Event: Kimiko Hayabusa and Natsu Toyama vs. KAGUYA and Rei Kagura.
Tonight’s main event was not only a showcase of the action we could see at Cinderella Story between KAGUYA and Kimiko but also a chance for Natsu and Rei to see what the other has before their Biggest Dreamer tournament match at JET 16. The match was fast and furious as the early advantage went to Natsu and Kimiko before a blind tag from Rei brought the match in the favor of KAGUYA-Gun. The KAGUYA-Gun duo was able to constantly get frequent tags in as they used this chance to pick apart the legs of Kimiko to make sure that KAGUYA had an easier time in their World Title match at the Budokan. Every time Kimiko was trying to get any moment KAGUYA and Rei were able to cut her off from her partner.
Soon Kimiko was able to get a tag to Natsu and immediately Toyama was on fire, she was fighting off both members of KAGUYA-Gun with no problem. The match was soon turned into a one-on-one as Natsu goes for Spear of Destiny and it hits! Natsu soon gets the crowd hyped as she raises a single finger in the air signaling the Final Showdown (Wristlock Lariat). She now grabs Rei’s wrist and spins her around but Rei is able to counter by kicking Natsu’s arm away and immediately going for a quick Cradle DDT! Rei has just pinned her Natsu Toyama two weeks before their Biggest Dreamer Tourney match.
(Winners - KAGUYA and Rei Kagura)
Post-match Kagura is celebrating her massive win as she just pinned Natsu who was in the IJWF Championship match only three days ago. Toyama is being helped out by the young girls and taken to the back while Rei Kagura taunts the hurt Toyama. Natsu’s partner Kimiko stayed behind to get in the face of KAGUYA. Hayabusa has her briefcase raised high in the air while KAGUYA has the JET World Championship to counter it.
Hanako Nakamoto: If this doesn’t signal that the road to Cinderella Story hasn’t officially started than I don’t know what will. KAGUYA and Hayabusa staring each other down with neither letting up an inch and budging.
(The last shot of JET is KAGUYA and Kimiko Hayabusa staring each other before the champ decides it’s time to leave. Kimiko is looking back at KAGUYA is leaving with the JET World Championship on her shoulders.)
