JET 21: LIVE from Korakuen Hall in Tokyo, Japan!
(Recap from JET 20 as the first two semi-finalists were revealed for the JET Tag Title Tournament with Wolfegang Symphony and The Blondetourage. Along with that KAGUYA called out Midori Miyamoto, heating up their feud for the JET World Title. Finally in the main event of the show, we saw Ai Moe, Natsu Toyama and Momoko Honda defeat KAGUYA-Gun and Hanna Rockford with the show closing up as Ai Moe called out Julia Zhang for a match at Lethal Takeover with the JET Academy Title on the line.)
(The camera cuts to ringside as “Reimei” by Sayuri and MFS played throughout the legendary Korakuen Hall. We soon cut to ringside as a packed Korakuen Hall is here to see tonight’s action. We go to the commentary table behind one of the guard railings as Asuka Kuramochi and Maki Fujioka.)
Maki Fujioka: Welcome everyone to another Joshi Extreme Takeover as tonight we continue our road to Lethal Takeover! I’m Maki Fujioka and thank you for joining us. As always I’m joined by my commentary partner, Asuka Kuramochi!
Asuka Kuramochi: You’re right about that, Maki-san! What a card as usual, the last of our first round tag title tournament matches, two debuts and so much more tonight! We have to get going right now with one of the two round one matches! Take it away!
JET Tag Title Tournament Rd1: Machiko Hasegawa and Yuki Takigawa vs. Tori De Vil and Stacy DeVille
Tonight’s opening contest was underway as Yuki Takigawa and Tori De Vil started the match off. The former JET World Champion was able to get the early bits of the match in her team’s favor until Stacy DeVille entered the match. The Rose City representative was able to take the fight to Takigawa as Machiko was cheering her partner on, hoping that she gets the tag in. One misstep from Stacy gave Takigawa an opening to tag her partner. Machiko was in and immediately fired up, taking it to both members of the opposing team. The crowd was behind her as she chopped away at both Stacy and Tori. Machiko completed her comeback by firing Machine Gun Chops to Stacy’s chest. Tori tried to stop her from hitting Stacy with a Hasegawa Bomb but Yuki intervened and nailed Tori with a big Roundhouse Kick! This left Machiko to nail a Sit-Out Hasegawa Bomb for the three count!
(Winners - Yuki Takigawa and Machiko Hasegawa)
(Post-Match: As Yuki and Machiko celebrated their win, Stacy and Tori extended their hand to shake it. A sign of respect from the two of them.)
(As the losing team lets the winners celebrate, the camera soon cuts to video package. Sounds of loud strikes are first before we see the person, old clips of Japanese wrestling legend Hideo Kobashi hitting his signature chops before cutting to a young girl at the JET Dojo with a single spotlight over the ring. We soon get our first look at the newest signee to JET. The daughter of the legend himself, Izumi Kobashi now going by her ring name of IZM. There’s a smirk on the face of the newcomer. We soon have the camera cut and words “The Shining Star Debuts NEXT” on screen!)
(Commercial Break promoting JET’s first big solo event of the season! Sakura Blooming 2019! Live from Yokohama Bunka Arena on June 29th!)
(We return to ringside as both competitors soon make their entrance with IZM getting a positive reception from the fans for someone making her professional wrestling debut.)
Singles Match: IZM vs. Megan Enders
Megan Enders hasn’t had a successful run in JET yet but tonight she had a great chance to play spoilers for the rookie IZM tonight. The new JET Signing showed flashes of her talent with loud chops that echoed throughout Korakuen Hall. You could see the look of pain on Enders face as IZM was getting the match in her control in the early going. After a lengthy and competitive match, Enders took advantage as a fired up IZM was going for her Super Kami Driver finisher, Megan was able to slip out as IZM was more focused on the fans and Enders took advantage by getting a crucifix pin for the win.
(Winner - Megan Enders)
(Post-Match: As Megan Enders left, IZM was left in the ring and disappointed in herself but it seems that she impressed the Tokyo crowd with her debut who applaud the 19 year old’s effort.)
(The camera quickly cuts backstage. A group of reporters surround Tomoyo Hirate and Rio Kurokawa as they sit on a bench. The media members ask a number of questions, however, one in particular stands out.)
Reporter: Can the two of you give us your thoughts on your potential opponents at Lethal Takeover?
(A bit of annoyance washes over Rio face at the mention of Lethal Takeover. Tomoyo spots this and steps in.)
Tomoyo Hirate: There are many exciting teams on the horizon! All of them are fighting for the chance to meet me and Rio in the finals.
(She thinks for a moment.)
Tomoyo Hirate: Wolfegang Symphony had a strong showing; they are the former Lethal Tag Team Champions. Candice Blair and Vanessa Santiago also made short work of their opponents. Tori De Vil and Stacy DeVille just faced off against Yuki Takigawa and Machiko Hasegawa. And of course, you cannot count Natsu’s team out…
(A smirk comes across her face.)
Tomoyo Hirate: They are all talented teams. But just because they are talented doesn’t mean they will beat me and Rio. No matter who might step up to face us in the finals, we will be ready.
(Those with written instruments take the time to jot down her words. Afterwards, they turn their eyes towards Rio.)
Reporter: How about you, Ms. Kurokawa?
(Rio lets out a sigh before she speaks.)
Rio Kurokawa: It baffles me that people are so excited about this tournament. Why? Because they very people are ignoring something crucial—
(She pauses for a second.)
Rio Kurokawa: You don’t luck into winning a championship. You fight and you struggle until you finally are victorious. That’s what happened when Tomoyo, Natsu, and myself won the JET Trios Championships. We fought, we struggled, we overcame. And we did so with honor—
(She shakes her head.)
Rio Kurokawa: And all that hard work was spit upon. All that hard work was tossed down the drain. And no one seems to be speaking about that. No one seems to be talking about how the three of us were wronged! All everyone cares about is a couple of new faces showing up to compete for a belt that they haven’t earned. There’s nothing honorable about that.
(There’s another pause.)
Rio Kurokawa: If you want to know the truth, I don’t care who Tomoyo and I meet in the finals. Because when Tomoyo and I step into the ring with them, I plan on punching them in the face until they cannot move any longer. I plan on driving them so far through the mat that they will never be able to move again. And I plan on walking away with the belts that rightfully belong to me and Tomoyo.
(The reporters scramble to write down her words.)
Tomoyo Hirate: Like I said, we’re going to be ready. We’re going to come down on who ever challenges us like a pack of hungry wolves!
(The camera cuts away from the two as they leave before we head back to ringside for tonight’s next match.)
Singles Match: Amy Slayton vs. Spring TORA
Amy Slayton who made her unofficial JET debut at the most recent house show now makes her official debut as she takes on the young girl she pinned. “JET’s Self-Proclaimed Young Tiger” Spring TORA who was coming off her tournament elimination. The young tiger did her best, showcasing her acrobatic-lucha libre inspired style but Amy Slayton was ready everything thrown at her. The match was all Slayton and even with a so-close comeback, the match ended with Slayton pinning Tora after a Devil’s Dance!
(Winner - Amy Slayton)
(As Amy is celebrating, we cut away from Korakuen Hall and to a video package. “Roundtable Rival” by Lindsey Stirling plays in the background as we see Bethany Sharpe and Vivane Wolfe in a studio, mics attached to their clothing as Wolfe is first to speak.)
Vivane Wolfe: Hello hideous people of JET! I’m Vivane Wolfe!
Bethany Sharpe: And I’m Bethany Sharpe! Together we are…
Wolfe/Sharpe Together: WOLFEGANG SYMPHONY!
(The two women begin to laugh with a tone that could annoy anyone in the world.)
Bethany Sharpe: So JET management wanted to do a little thing where they showcased our talents! Roll the footage of us beating someone, we don’t care who.
(We soon get clips of the two and their tag team career from Omega Wrestling Tomorrow’s OWT territory to Lethal Angels of Wrestling where they were Lethal Tag Team Champions and even their debut from JET 20 before returning.)
Vivane Wolfe: Last show we made our big debut and we beat two nobodies. They’re trained by that blue-haired girl who thinks she is Aria Jaxon. Who is she, Beth?
Bethany Sharpe: I’m guessing someone that isn’t important at all like we care about two whatevers! But do you know what is important? Wolfegang is in round 2 of the JET Tag Title Tournament! We are three matches away from becoming JET Tag Team Champions! Imagine us, becoming first JET Tag Team Champions in over a year!
Vivane Wolfe: Of course! It’s so easy to forget that we made the Lethal Tag Team Championships what they are today, so why not we be the ones to usher in a new era of tag team wrestling in JET. Apparently we’ve got our round two match up set! We face that big hulking girl and the one who likes to kick a lot! It doesn’t matter, we’ve got this right Beth?
(There’s a smirk on the face of Bethany Sharpe as she now takes over to speak.
Bethany Sharpe: Of course! We’ve only competed in 1 match and we’ve already set the bar high for everyone in the tag division! Imagine a world with Wolfegang Symphony as JET Tag Team Champions because I wouldn’t have it any other way. Our opponents for Round 2 must be really but they aren’t Wolfegang Symphony and that’s what seperates, the good from the great.
(The two of them look at each other.)
Vivane Wolfe: That’s all from us, we’ve got a lot of work to do if you don’t mind.
(The two of them, soon leaving as you can hear their annoying laugh from behind the camera. The video soon fades to black as we cut to a commercial break!)
(Commercial Break: Tune in to Lethal Takeover as JET celebrates the one year anniversary of their partnership with LAW! Live from Kobe World Hall!)
(We return from commercial as it’s time for the next match of tonight’s show and the final round 1 match of the JET Tag Title tournament!)
Semi-Main/JET Tag Title Tournament Rd1: Natsu Toyama and Momoko Honda vs. Rei Kagura and Hanna Rockford
The final Round 1 match got to a hot start with Natsu and Hanna starting off. The team of Natsu and Momoko got the early advantage showing some awesome tandem awesome for two people teaming properly for the first time ever. The match unfortunately soon swinged in the favor of Kagura and Rockford who ever able to use some dirty tactics to get Momoko trapped in her corner. Unfortunately they couldn’t stop Momo from making a hot tag to Natsu! Toyama was on fire as she took down both members of Rockford and Rei, hitting multiple slingblades! The crowd was fired up as Natsu attempted to hit the Final Answer but Hanna from behind stopped it! Momoko was able to handle the threat of Rockford by hitting her with an Earth-Quaker which gave Natsu all the time to hit Rei with the Final Answer! The Double Hammerlock German hits and after a three count, Natsu and Momoko are heading to Round 2 to face Candice Blair and Vanessa Santiago!
(Winners - Natsu and Momoko!)
(As Natsu and Momo leave the ring celebrating, on the small projection screen, we get the highlights of Midori Miyamoto vs. KAGUYA feud and Julia Zhang vs. Ai Moe feud as it’s now time for our main event!)
Main Event: Midori Miyamoto and Ai Moe vs. KAGUYA-Gun (KAGUYA and Julia Zhang)
As both teams already made their entrances, we see them deciding who will start but the main event never even got going as KAGUYA and Julia Zhang attacked their opponents from behind. A brawl soon broke out between the four combatants with Ai Moe and Midori Miyamoto were getting overwhelmed by KAGUYA-Gun’s attack. We soon saw ringside crew and officials pull them apart as Midori and KAGUYA were trying to get one another, Midori is able to break free and charges right at KAGUYA as the two of them continue fighting! From the back the cavalry arrive as some of the roster members have to pull them away from one another. The ref is forced to declare this match as a no-contest with no winner at all!
(The match has been declared a no contest!)
(As the two of them are being forced away from each other, KAGUYA begins yelling at Midori as she is forced by the roster members pulling her back.)
KAGUYA (off-mic): Say your prayers, Midori! You’re done at Lethal Takeover, I will end you for ever thinking you could come for my title!
(Midori meanwhile is still in the ring as she still held back by roster members as well.)
Midori Miyamoto (off-mic): We’ll see about that coward! I’m taking everything back that you stole from this company including your title!
Maki Fujioka: What a hectic scene to end tonight’s show! What does this mean for the JET World Title match at Lethal Takeover as both women can’t even compete in a simple tag match before breaking out in a brawl!
(The final shot is both women being held back along with the Academy Title match combatants who are forced away from another as well!)
