JET 26 - July 24th, 2019
LIVE from Differ Ariake
(Replay for JET 25 is shown with a focus on the competitors who qualified for the Miss Manami Tributary Shield match. Those being Tori De Vil who qualified by beating Amy Slayton and IZM who was given her spot by JET President Hanako Nakamoto, along with that focus was put onto KAGUYA as she sent out a challenge to the JET World Tag Team Champions Rio Kurokawa and Tomoyo Hirate. Finally we cut to the main event as a shocking upset had happened as Midori Miyamoto was pinned by Natsu Toyama via a Final Answer Suplex. This led to Natsu soon challenging Midori Miyamoto to a JET World Championship at Goddess Dream stating that she wanted to win it at Goddess Dream as her tribute to mother and JET Founder, Miss Manami. “Reimei” by Sayuri x My First story plays as we cut to the amazing Differ Ariake as JET fans are packed to see JET 26, we soon cut to our commentators who are ready to go.)
Maki Fujioka: Ladies and Gentlemen, welcome to JET 26 LIVE from Differ Ariake! We’ve got an exciting card for everyone watching! I’m Maki Fujioka, calling the action as usual with my amazing partner Asuka Kuramochi!
Asuka Kuramochi: Thank you so much, Maki-san and you’re right! What an amazing card for tonight’s show and including two different qualifiers for the Miss Manami Tributary Shield match! But it seems our JET World Champion has something to say about her potential challenger and it seems Midori Miyamoto is backstage right now.
The camera cuts to a backstage one where Midori Miyamoto is swamped by supporters backstage. And while that would bother some wrestlers, Midori stands there with poise. The Joshi Extreme Takeover World Championship? It rests comfortably on the young woman’s shoulders. Midori quickly scans the faces of the media personnel before she begins speaking.
Midori Miyamoto: Good evening everyone. Thank you for attending; and thank you for listening to what I’ve got to say.
She nods her head.
Midori Miyamoto: Natsu Toyama―
Her name lingers in the air for a moment or two.
Midori Miyamoto: Last week, the two of us took part in a six-woman tag team match. And at the end of that match? You ended up pinning me. A lot of people in my position would start to make excuses as they why they lost. I won’t do that. You got the better of me in the moment; you earned the win.
There’s a small pause before she carries on.
Midori Miyamoto: You also challenged me to a match at Goddess Dream. It’s been well documented in JET that I don’t back down. Therefore, consider you challenge accepted.
There’s a buzz and a murmur amongst the members of the media as they scramble to write down her words.
Midori Miyamoto: Natsu? I commend you. You aren’t selfish. You don’t want the JET World Championship because it will bring you some sort of glory. Instead, you just want to honor your mother. You want to make her proud. I can appreciate that―
Midori snaps her fingers.
Midori Miyamoto: However, you aren’t the only one who is fighting for someone, Natsu. I fight for my family. I fight for my trainers. I fight for everyone who believed in me while I was grinding away and trying to make it to the top. Because without them, I wouldn’t be the JET World Champion. Without them, I wouldn’t be anything in this sport.
There’s a small pause.
Midori Miyamoto: Your ideals are noble. However, you need to realize that the storybook ending in your head isn’t meant to be. I’m not a placeholder. I’m not some random who simply happens to be holding the JET World Championship. No. I’m a woman to crawled and fought her way to the top of this company. I am a woman who stood up to protect this company when few dared to. And I am the woman that’s going to take JET to brand new heights. You aren’t just going to walk all over me and simply take what I’ve worked my ass off to obtain―never that.
With that, Midori nods her head and takes her leave. The members of the media are left to finish their notes. We soon cut back to the commentators who are the focus of the shot.
Maki Fujioka: Well it seems that the Goddess Dream main event is set! Midori Miyamoto vs. Natsu Toyama! I can’t wait!
Asuka Kuramochi: Same here! Natsu is competing in tonight’s main event tag match and maybe finding out that her challenge has been accepted might boost her will to win. But let’s get to our first match of the night and it’s a qualifier for the Miss Manami Tributary Shield match!
Singles/Opening Match/Tributary Shield Qualifier: Megan Enders vs. Mizuki Nakata
Tonight’s opening contest saw Megan Enders take on JET’s Chosen One Mizuki Nakata. Mizuki had been vocal that she felt horrible about not being able to qualify for first Tributary Gauntlet and missing the event as a whole. She was gonna make it up by winning this year’s gauntlet, her opponent Megan Enders was given was a HUGE opportunity. A match against one of JET’s best and she took her opportunity and ran with it. Mizuki had control for most of this match but wasn’t able to seal a win as Enders sneaked in a Crucifix pin to steal the win for herself and qualify for the gauntlet.
(Winner - Megan Enders)
(Quick Intermission)
(We return as Spring TORA is already in the ring and waiting for her opponent. “PA PA YA” by Babymetal played and the crowd were in awe as SAIKO was making her return to JET after nearly being away from wrestling since february. A brand new look told the story as SAIKO entered the ring.)
Singles Match: SAIKO vs. Spring TORA
If any words could be used to describe this match, it would be dominate. SAIKO was completely and utterly dominate. Spring TORA wasn’t given a single chance to fight back, The Mob Psycho didn’t stop her assault as she spent the match toying with Spring TORA. The Luchadora soon starting show her fire and fought back with multiple forearms but it wasn’t enough as she attempted some sort of running move but was stopped dead in her tracks by an enzuigiri. SAIKO seems to have gotten mad that Spring TORA was fighting back as she quickly got the JET Young Girl up and hit her with The Psycho-Impaler! That seems to have not been enough as SAIKO didn’t go for the pin but rather immediately got TORA up for ANOTHER Psycho Impaler before going for the pin nonchalantly.
(Winner - Saiko)
(Post-Match: SAIKO seems to have had her fun as she leaves, once returning backstage the person she runs into is KAGUYA who welcomes her back with open arms. KAGUYA says that this new SAIKO is her secret weapon, SAIKO seems to be not say much and lets her faction leader speak. KAGUYA goes to claim that SAIKO returning is a good sign. KAGUYA-GUN is stronger than ever and they will continue to get stronger. The trio of KAGUYA, Julia Zhang and Rei Kagura soon take their leave for their match.)
Six-Woman Tag Match: Rio Kurokawa, Tomoyo Hirate and Tori De Vil vs. KAGUYA-Gun (KAGUYA, Julia Zhang and Rei Kagura)
With tensions still running high from the attack after their Sakura Blooming title defense, the tag champs were in a furious mood today. The match truly never got started as a brawl between KAGUYA, Zhang, Kurokawa and Hirate broke out. The brawl was too much as the match never got properly started and was thrown out.
(Winner - N/A)
(Post-Match: As KAGUYA-Gun continue to brawl with the opponents they were set to face tonight, the numbers advantage was going to KAGUYA-Gun thanks to the addition to SAIKO arriving but soon Mizuki Nakata arrived to support Tori, Tomoyo and Rio. Officials need to be brought in to stop the brawl as soon Rio Kurokawa takes the mic. In an Angry tone she calls out KAGUYA and Julia Zhang along with the rest of KAGUYA, saying that she will personally end the faction by retaining their tag titles at Sakura Blooming. KAGUYA only had a cocky grin on her face as she’s got the match she wanted.)
(The camera cut to a backstage as we see a JET banner as IZM comes into frame, dressed in street clothes, as she sits in the chair proved.)
IZM: I may not have match tonight in my hometown tonight, but I still had a busy day. I got to visit my father and go on TV Tokyo and promote Goddess Dream. All of that is fine as it gives me time to think about something that has been weighing heavily on my mind. That being in the Miss Manami Tributary Shield Gauntlet Match. Why is this match weighing on my mind? It is simple, the way I see it this match is the match that will be the one to solidify my signing to JET and not only that, but solidify me as a serious competitor. I know, I should be taken as one due to my namesake, but I know that isn’t the right way and I applaud Yoko-san, Hanako-san, and the others for making me go through the ropes. While, I believe the fans think I have proven myself...I don’t think I have. Yes, I had a really good match at Sakura Blooming against my rival, Machiko-san, but even then I don’t think I proved myself enough.
(The cameraman motions IZM to wrap up everything so they can go to the next match.)
IZM: I was being brash for demanding to be in the Miss Manami Tributary Shield Gauntlet Match, since I am just a rookie and that match is usually for the veterans or the well-traveled wrestlers, but my father told me that if you want an opportunity, sometimes you have to be brash and demand it and I think, as I said before, this will be the match to show everything I have to offer and maybe show I have what it takes to be the next big star of JET
(The promo ends as we cut to the next match.)
Semi-Main/Tag Team Match/Tributary Shield Qualifier: Hanna Rockford and Vanessa Santiago vs. Talia Areano and Stacy DeVille
With the commotion caused by the previous bout of KAGUYA-Gun vs Rio, Tomoyo and Tori, we’re finally returned to next major match of the evening. With massive implications in the form of two Tributary Shield spots on the line. The unique team of Stacy and Talia were able to pick up a big time win even when the odds were stacked, Santiago and Rockford were able to keep Stacy isolated from her partner but one wrong misstep costed them as Stacy was able to get the tag to Talia Areano. From there on it was all Stacy DeVille and Talia Areano, as soon the match was over with a Standing Slice Of Heaven from Areano! Areano and DeVille secured their spots in the Gauntlet match.
(Winners - DeVille and Areano)
(Intermission)
Main Event/Tag Team Match: Natsu Toyama and Momoko Honda vs. Ai Moe and Mitra Marvel
Tonight’s main event was huge, the now-Number #1 contender for the JET World Championship Natsu Toyama teamed with Momoko Honda to face The Star Warrior’s Goddess Dream opponent and one of JET’s most beloved figures, Mitra Marvel. Both teams had a lot on their plate with Goddess Dream getting closer and closer. The match came down to heart, will and determination as the match with Momoko landing a massive Earth Quaker on Mitra Marvel. Sealing the win for her and Natsu Toyama after a hard fought battle against some tough competition.
(Winners - Natsu Toyama and Momoko Honda)
(As Ai Moe is helping Mitra Marvel, we see Momoko approach Ai Moe and the first thing we see from the challenger is her extending her hand to the champion. Ai Moe gladly accepts the hands as their seems to be no ill will between Champion and challenger. The show ends with Momoko pointing to Ai’s title as she raises it in the air.)

JET 27 LIVE from Differ Ariake in Tokyo, Japan.
Date: July 31st, 2019
After a quick recap of the previous show, it was time for JET 27 and the first thing was a contract signing between the challengers and champions for the JET World Tag Team Championship match.
The Opening segment for the show consisted of a contract signing between KAGUYA & Zhang and Rio & Tomoyo. KAGUYA as usual was fine with getting under her opponent’s skin by running her mouth. She pointed out how she has beaten Tomoyo before in singles competition and that isn’t going to change in this tag title bout. Once the champs got a chance to speak, they didn’t seem to not care as much stating that unlike KAGUYA, their actions will speak for them at Goddess Dream. They soon signed the contract and the match was made official.
- Tonight’s opening contest saw IZM team with Talia Areano to face Stacy DeVille and Tori De Vil. Tori and Stacy have teamed before and they were able to work more smoothly than the first time team of IZM and Talia. Even though they have previous experience teaming with one another, it wasn’t an easy win but a win nonetheless as IZM was pinned after a brutal looking DeVille Driver II
- Next contest of the evening was the only normal singles match as Vivace Fortissimo and Saya Okita. This was the first chance that the JET had to see Vivace in a singles match, the crowd was quite impressed with her athletic abilities. Saya Okita put in a great fight but her inexperience caught up with her as Vivace landed Subito Presto to end the match and with a win.
- Following that was another singles match as Yuki Takigawa took on Bethany Sharpe of Wolfegang Symphony, before that it was announced that the two teams will face one another at Goddess Dream with the winning team getting a chance to face the JET World Tag Team Champions at Trifecta. Even with their partners at ringside, it didn’t stop Wolfegang from cheating or at least trying to cheat. The former JET World Champion is already on the ropes but Machiko was luckily there to even it up and nail Vivina with a German Suplex! This opened up for Takigawa to take the match as she soon landed a massive Path To The Moon on Sharpe.
- After that was a quick announcement that Azumi Goto will making her first appearance since OWA’s Final Destination show at Goddess Dream. It was unclear whether it will be in the ring as a competitor as a JET Executive.
The semi-main of JET 27 saw a fourway match. One fall to the final as the final spot in the Miss Manami Tributary Shield match was on the line, huge implications. The participants were Rei Kagura, Hanna Rockford, Vanessa Santiago, Amy Slayton and Mizuki Nakata. Either of these competitors could be an amazing edition to an already stacked match with all of them bringing something to the table. Near the end of the match, the two left in the ring were Mizuki Nakata and Rei Kagura. The match seemed to have been going Mizuki’s way but from out of nowhere, Rei Kagura received some help from her KAGUYA-Gun stablemate in the form of SAIKO!! Immediately there was a smile on the face of Rei Kagura her KAGUYA-Gun were able to attack Mizuki in a two-on-one beatdown ending with SAIKO hitting Mizuki with a Psycho Impaler and Rei being able to seal it with a pin! Rei Kagura is able to sneak her way to the Tributary Shield Match!
Post-Match: SAIKO was the only one to talk as she simply said one thing to the camera. “Mizuki Nakata vs. SAIKO. One-on-One at Goddess Dream!”
- Tonight’s main event was another match to build up for the JET World Championship and Academy Championship matches as two-thirds of the inaugural JET Trios Champions Midori Miyamoto and Ai Moe teamed up to face off against the semi-regular team of Momoko Honda and Natsu Toyama. After the loss that she suffered two weeks ago, Midori Miyamoto was not in a mood to lose another match as she and Natsu went at it. The crowd in Differ Ariake was given a preview what they could be seeing at Goddess Dream. But ultimately the match ended with Ai Moe landing a massive Love Is A Battlefield on her challenger Momoko Honda, getting the win for the champs.
Post-Match: The post-match promo honors were given to Ai Moe as she picked up a microphone and showed her respect to Momoko Honda, calling her an amazing competitor and the perfect challenger for her Academy Title. Ai Moe finished off her promo by saying that she intends to retain her championship and head into both Trifecta and RISE GP as Academy Champion. Meanwhile Midori and Natsu said nothing to one another only eyeing the other up before their face at Goddess Dream.
