RISE Grand Prix Night 1 in Osaka World Pavillion Bye: Midori Miyamoto
Undercard Results - Q defeated Spring TORA - Hanna Rockford defeated Valarie Barbato
Match 1: Natsu Toyama [0] defeated Machiko Hasegawa [0]
In the first match of this year’s RISE Grand Prix, it was the power wrestler Machiko Hasegawa taking on Natsu Toyama. It seemed that the Final Answer was a bit taped up with the back of her neck covered. After an opening stretch of technical wrestling, the match was a quick sprint. Showcasing RISE Grand Prix at it’s finest, fight hard and fast. Machiko was nearly able to seal a win over Natsu with a Waterwheel Drop but Toyama kicked out. The match ended with Final Answer Suplex after Natsu was able to slip behind from a Hasegawa-Bomb attempt!
Match 2: Rei Kagura w/Julia Zhang [0] defeated Megan Enders [0]
Unlike the first match of the show, Rei Kagura didn’t seem to be interested in working a clean match as she used any and all ways to cheat her way to a victory. Unlike most JET graduates, Rei Kagura didn’t possess the in-ring technique and used anyway to break the rules. The finish of the match saw Rei use the same brass knuckles that she used at Trifecta to help KAGUYA-Gun. Assist goes to Zhang who distracted the ref.
Match 3: Amy Slayton [0] defeated Ai Moe [0]
A rematch from this year’s Sakura Blooming event, former Academy Champion Ai Moe took on her former challenger in Amy Slayton. The two shook hands to start this match as a sign of respect and wrestled a technical clinic throughout the match. Neither willing to give the other an inch, unfortunately the terrible string of losses for the former Academy Champion continues as Amy Slayton is able to reverse a “Love Is A Battlefield” attempt into The Devil’s Dance, sealing her the win!
Match 4: Bethany Sharpe [0] defeated Stacy DeVille [0]
In a first time ever matchup, it was Stacy DeVille vs Bethany Sharpe. With both coming off amazing performances recently, Stacy DeVille at the Miss Manami Shield Gauntlet match and Bethany Sharpe capturing the JET World Tag Team Championships alongside Vivina Wolfe as Wolfegang Symphony. The match started slowly as both women didn’t want to use too much energy early. After a while, it was all Sharpe as she was able to grind out the match and precisely attacked the back of Stacy DeVille. The Conductor was smartly able to cut off Stacy DeVille but it didn’t last long as the Suplex Mom got in her fiery comeback! The crowd was behind Stacy but the finish of the match saw Sharpe countering a DeVille Driver with The Dissonance (Belly-to-Back Suplex lifted into a Double Knee Backbreaker)!
Main Event: JUNKO w/ Julia Zhang [0] defeated Tomoyo Hirate [0]
It was time for the first main event of the RISE Grand Prix as we see another first-time matchup, JUNKO in her first singles match taking on former JET World Tag Team Champion Tomoyo Hirate. Thanks to the help of her stablemate Julia Zhang, JUNKO was the one in early control as she worked on the neck of Tomoyo Hirate. Zhang played a big part in this match as whenever the ref was distracted, KAGUYA-Gun was able to take advantage with a cheap tactic. Of course, Hirate fought back valiantly, even taking out Zhang with a Suicide Dive to the outside but all that did was give JUNKO an opportunity to seal a win with the Dark Impulse.
---------------
Post Match
(JUNKO has the microphone as the crowd in Osaka boo her loudly. She soon takes a sip of her rose wine while Zhang is in the ring with her.)
JUNKO: Did you expect anything less than a victory? Nobody in this company or in my block will be stopping me from winning this tournament! Not Tomoyo, Ai Moe, Natsu Toyama or even the JET World Champion herself! I’ll see all of you in Sasebo on Friday where the result will be the same as tonight, everyone in this block will fall to my Dark Impulse until I reach the finals at Ota-Ward Gymnasium including Midori Miyamoto!
(JUNKO tosses the mic as “Spitfire” by The Prodigy plays but the overwhelmingly negative reaction from the Osaka crowd. JUNKO takes one last pose as the camera ending the recording for the opening night.)
RISE Grand Prix Night 2 in Osaka World Pavillion Bye: Momoko Honda
Undercard results
- KAGUYA-Gun (Rei Kagura, JUNKO and Julia Zhang) defeated Stacy DeVille, Saya Okita, and Megan Enders - Yuki Takigawa, Vivace Fortissimo and Machiko Hasegawa defeated Spring TORA, Tori De Vil, and Tomoyo Hirate
Match 1: Mizuki Nakata [0] defeated Mitra Marvel [0]
Two rivals meet in the first tournament match of B Block as “The Chosen One” Mizuki Nakata took on “The Sailor Sun” Mitra Marvel. Both competitors shook hands before the match got underway, once the bell rung it was on! Mizuki and Mitra were very familiar with the other as they have competed against one another multiple time including a match from last year’s RISE GP A Block. The two women put on a technical clinic but only one could come out on top and unfortunately for Mitra, a top rope Crossbody attempt soon turned into a Lanikea from Mizuki as she caught the Solar Senshi’s top rope dive attempt to seal the win.
Match 2: SAIKO [0] defeated Talia Areano [0]
A first time match up as Talia Areano who last seen in JET participating in the Miss Manami Tributary Shield match took on KAGUYA-Gun’s secret weapon, SAIKO. The Mob Psycho knew exactly where to attack as she focused solely on the neck of Talia as it seems the damage it took from IZM’s Immortal Roaring Hammer has healed at all. Whenever it seemed that Talia was gonna bounce back, SAIKO returned to attacking the neck. Areano showed her heart as she fought to through the pain and close chances of winning this match but SAIKO smartly attacked neck to escape Talia’s Slice of Heaven (Sliced Bread #2) attempt. The Mob Psycho immediately her chance and nailed a brutal Psycho Impaler to seal the win for herself.
Match 3: Mariko Reimon [0] defeated Sora Todoh [0]
The biggest surprise for everyone was the announcement of Sora Todoh’s entry in this year’s RISE Grand Prix. This was a massive opportunity for Sora to get valuable experience and maybe get ahead of her other fellow JET Young Girls. Sora immediately got a sneaky close win with a schoolgirl pin but Mariko kicked. The moment they both got to their feet, Mariko rushes in and nailed Sora with a Cannon Spike to seal a quick win for herself.
Match 4: Vivina Wolfe w/Bethany Sharpe [0] defeated Rio Kurokawa [0]
In Night 2’s semi-main event, we saw Rio Kurokawa take on the one-half of the tandem that took the JET World Tag Team Championships from them in Vivina Wolfe. After a slow start, the match picked up as Wolfe was in control being able to slow down the match considerably, it didn’t Kurokawa that Wolfe’s partner Bethany Sharpe was at ringside who helped Wolfe whenever anything went wrong. Unfortunately even with a comeback that saw her fight back hard, Wolfe was able to seal the win thanks to a Whitechapel Massacre.
Main Event: KAGUYA [0] defeated IZM [0]
The main event of Night 2 was a first time matchup for all to see as the Winner of 2019 Miss Manami Tributary Shield, IZM took on former JET World Champion and The Black-Heart General KAGUYA. Both women were something brand new for their ring gear, KAGUYA wearing a modified version of her white gear that she wore during her tenure as JET World Champion and IZM wearing a black attire but with a focus on red as the side color. This match was a clash of styles as the KAGUYA was a pure striker while IZM was wrestling that commentator Maki Fujioka described as Old School Queen’s Road or King’s Road. After a fiery opening couple of minutes with both competitors trying to win the early states of the match with their signature kicks, KAGUYA was able to slow down the pace of the match by changing her attack plan to target IZM’s right arm and weaken her Roaring Lariat. IZM spent a good portion of the middle section of this match on defense as KAGUYA was relentless at breaking down IZM’s arm, even going as far to apply a Fujiwara Armbar but the Roaring Spirit was able to reach the ropes.
Both women at this point going all out. Everything was being thrown at the other to seal a win, after an Osaka Eclipse from KAGUYA, it seemed that she was going to end it with a running Punt Kick but IZM was able to counter it with a Running Roaring Lariat with her right arm to a huge pop but IZM was noticeably holding her arm in pain. She pushed on and immediately got KAGUYA up before hitting another Roaring Lariat, The Black Heart General was able to kick out as maybe the damage that was done on her right arm weakened her lariat’s strength. IZM soon regained her composure as she attempted to end it with a Square Hammer or formally known as the Immortal Roaring Hammer. KAGUYA was able to sense the move able to get herself out of the inverted fireman’s carry position! The finishing sequence was coming up as KAGUYA nailed a brutal forearm to the back of IZM’s head. KAGUYA immediately followed it up by turning IZM around and nailed an Uraken but the Roaring Spirit didn’t quit as she swung a punch but KAGUYA ducked it and landed a barrage of close range slaps and palm strikes. The beginning of the end was near as KAGUYA landed a pitch-black kick to the kneeling IZM before ending the match with her signature Vertical Spike Brainbuster finisher!
----------
Post Match
(After an exhausting bout, KAGUYA was the one left in the ring holding her neck in pain. Even though she’s from Osaka, her hometown wasn’t in the mood to cheer for her. She soon begins to speak in Japanese.)
KAGUYA: Osaka, why all the hatred for one of your own?! Let me guess, you wanted to see that second generation brat beat me?
(The audience in Osaka World Pavillion soon begin to chant for IZM as the crowd didn’t want KAGUYA to finish her post-match promo.)
KAGUYA: Too bad for all of you because I won! The Great KAGUYA won this match, I will make this loud and clear! I want my JET World Championship back! Midori Miyamoto, you’ve had your fun as champion but now it’s time you give back what you stole from me and my faction. As for the rest of you in Block B, you will all fall to me! This is KAGUYA-Gun’s tournament to win, doesn’t matter if I win or JUNKO wins or SAIKO wins, this is our tournament! Everything in this world belongs to my army, don’t ever forget that!
(KAGUYA drops her mic as “Overdrive The Mirage” by Pete Klassen plays and the final shot of Night 2 is KAGUYA standing tall as the only one in the ring, soaking in the negative reaction.)

RISE Grand Prix Night 3 in Sasebo Sasebo City Gym Bye: Amy Slayton
Undercard Results: - Q defeated Saya Okita - SAIKO and KAGUYA defeated Spring TORA and Momoko Honda - Mitra Marvel and Tori De Vil defeated Talia Areano and Valeria Barbato
Match 1: JUNKO [2] defeated Megan Enders [0] In the first tournament match of the evening, it was the winner of Night 1 aka JUNKO taking on Megan Enders. The crowd was 100% behind Enders who put in a valiant effort and almost would have stolen the win but JUNKO staying true to what she said in her post-match promo, Enders fell to the Dark Impulse as JUNKO continues a great run of form since returning.
Match 2: Stacy DeVille [0] defeated Rei Kagura w/Julia Zhang [2] After a poor start to her tournament by losing to Bethany Sharpe, Stacy has a good chance of getting back up to 2 points as she took on Rei Kagura who seemed way too confident for her own good. In the end, Rei and Julia Zhang tried their best by using their numbers advantage and dirty tactics but it wasn’t enough as Stacy fought back and ended the match with a DeVille Driver II
Match 3: Tomoyo Hirate [0] defeated Machiko Hasegawa [0] The next match of Night 3 saw a clash of styles. Machiko Hasegawa’s pure power wrestling versus Tomoyo Hirate’s technical wrestling. Throughout the damage, Tomoyo would hit a series of quick moves only for Machiko reply with one big maneuver to turn things around. Unfortunately for Machiko, Tomoyo’s natural quickness and agility was her biggest advantage as she was able to seal the win with an Epsilon Tract German Suplex.
Match 4: Bethany Sharpe w/Vivina Wolfe [2] defeated Ai Moe [0] In the semi-main of Night 2, Wolfegang Symphony member Bethany Sharpe took on former JET Academy Champion Ai Moe, who hasn't had the best start as she lost to Amy Slayton. Unfortunately, the poor start to her GP continues as Sharpe is able to target her neck and secure the win with a Dissonance.
Main Event: Midori Miyamoto [0] defeated Natsu Toyama [2] Night 3’s main event saw the return of Midori Miyamoto as she had her first match back since the Trifecta event where she fought in a hellacious champions triple threat match. Her first match of this year’s GP saw her taking on rival Natsu Toyama in a rematch of the Goddess Dream main event. There was a lot of callbacks from their title bout but unfortunately the match with Machiko Hasegawa from Night 1 has taken its toll on Natsu as she fell to a Catalyst Shift from the JET World Champion.
Post Match:
During her post-match promo, Midori Miyamoto talked about how Natsu still has a lot to go through till she can beat Midori but respect her heart and effort. Afterward, the Hybrid Dragon let her intentions of winning the RISE Grand Prix be known as she wanted to be the first to win this tournament while being JET World Champion.
RISE Grand Prix Night 4 in Sasebo Sasebo City Gymnasium Bye: Rio Kurokawa
Undercard: - Tomoyo Hirate and Rio Kurokawa defeated Midori Miyamoto and Amelia Martinez - Q and JUNKO defeated Stacy DeVille and Tori De Vil
Match 1: Mizuki Nakata [2] defeated Sora Todoh [0] In a quick and short opening match, Mizuki Nakata sealed her place at the top of her block. Even if the match took less time, Sora Todoh still showed a lot of promise as she took it to the Ace but once that signature Nakata-Family Exploder Suplex was pulled out, it was the beginning of the end for Sora as she fell to a Lanikea.
Match 2: Mitra Marvel [0] defeated Talia Areano [0] With both women coming off losses during their opening bout, both were driven to get on board and not fall behind to current block leader Mizuki Nakata. With only 15 minutes at their disposal to put the other down, both women worked a very fast-paced and exciting match for the Sasebo fans who were in awe of the athleticism of both women. The match ended around the 13-minute mark as Mitra Marvel nailed Talia with a Solar Flare to secure the win.
Match 3: IZM [0] defeated Mariko Reimon [2] One thing was definitely noticeable during the match and that was IZM’s right arm taped up thanks to the damage it had suffered in the bout against KAGUYA. Mariko Reimon had a target now as she spent a majority of the early and mid portions of the match working over the arm but IZM caught a lucky break as Mariko’s frustrations got the better of her and now it was time for the Roaring Spirit’s fiery comeback. A barrage of left-handed chops followed by a Queen Bomb nearly got IZM the win but Mariko stayed in it but unfortunately for Reimon she wasn’t able to kick out of the Torment Breaker!
Match 4: SAIKO [2] defeated Vivina Wolfe [2] With the winner joining Mizuki Nakata at the top of the leaderboard, it was time for Vivina or SAIKO to make their move and set the pace. Both women wrestled an amazing main event with a lot of big moves coming out. RISE Grand Prix is about going all out every night and both women showed it as there was nothing left afterward but unfortunately for Vivina, SAIKO’s aggression was way too much for her and she nailed the JET Tag Champ with a Psycho Impaler!
Main Event: Momoko Honda [0] defeated KAGUYA [2] Back to back main events for KAGUYA as after defeating IZM, she was on a big roll and was set to take on Momoko Honda. Uniquely this was Honda’s first 1-on-1 main event match as all of her other main event appearances were in tag matches. Both had faced in last year’s GP where Honda won via a rollup but this time both competitors were ready for one another. With KAGUYA and Momoko relying on kicks, it came down to the other maneuvers in their arsenals but for this bout, Momoko having not had a match in JET since the Trifecta event meant that she was fresher while KAGUYA was still in bad mood from her brutal main event bout against IZM. The match ended with a brutal roundhouse from the Academy Champion followed up by an Earth-Quaker as the champion sealed the deal.
Post Match:
For the first time in her JET career, Momoko Honda was closing the show with a promo. She thanked the fans in attendance who were to see JET, the champion promised to win GP and become the first-ever JET World and Academy Double Champion in history.

RISE GP Night 5 in Dolphins Arena Location: Nagoya, Japan Bye: Natsu Toyama
Undercard Results - Spring TORA and Mizuki Nakata defeated IZM and Saya Okita - KAGUYA and SAIKO defeated Rio Kurokawa and Yuki Takigawa - Q, Vivina Wolfe, and Mariko Reimon defeated Mitra Marvel, Momoko Honda, and Sora Todoh
Match 1: Megan Enders [0] defeated Machiko Hasegawa [0] Both women have had one of the worst starts as they remain pointless at the current moment. Their chances of winning this tournament are starting to slim down, both women went all in to get the win. Unfortunately, Machiko wasn’t able to seal the win as Megan Enders was able to reverse a Hasegawa-Bomb attempt with a jackknife cover to get on board for this year’s GP.
Match 2: Amy Slayton [2] defeated Bethany Sharpe [4] One of the two A block leaders was in action as Bethany Sharpe sat comfortably at the top of her block. She was taking on Amy Slayton who was a bye and had time to rest going into this round 5 matchup. A full-on technical bout was on display as neither gave the other an inch for the entire bout but Amy Slayton was able to get the win as she countered Sharpe’s curb stomp with her finisher better known as “The Devil’s Dance”.
Match 3: JUNKO w/Julia Zhang [4] defeated Stacy Deville [2] After a KAGUYA-Gun member in her last round match, Stacy Deville has to go back-to-back as she soon took on the faction’s Second-In-Command. Unfortunately, JUNKO was on a completely different level than Rei Kagura and Stacy learned that the hard way but JUNKO’s win also deserves an honorary assist from Zhang as she distracted the ref allowing JUNKO to spray Stacy with rose wine that blinded her. After that was a simple finish, one Darkness Impulse later JUNKO now stands on top of Block A alone.
Match 4: Midori Miyamoto [2] defeated Tomoyo Hirate [2] In Night 5’s semi-main event. We saw JET World Champion Midori Miyamoto take on former Tag Team, Trios, and Academy Champion Tomoyo Hirate. Both faced off in last year’s GP where Tomoyo got the win but this time it was different. The two stoic competitors showcased their talents and wowed the Nagoya crowd but in the end, the JET World Champion Midori Miyamoto continued her hot-streak as she put away Tomoyo with a Shattercryst.
Main Event: Ai Moe [0] defeated Rei Kagura w/Julia Zhang [2] Similar to last year’s RISE GP, Ai Moe stands at the bottom of her table with 0 wins and 2 losses but she has a major chance to start her climb back. Rei Kagura, on the other hand, seems to be in an amazing mood. The spotlight of the main event is focused on her. The early stages of the match were all Kagura thanks to an assist from Zhang. The Osaka Beauty Queen was able to break down Ai Moe and grind the match while trying to get into Moe’s head by yelling at her. The former Academy Champion was soon able to land a fiery comeback as the crowd exploded for Moe. Unfortunately, Zhang wasn’t able to stop her former rival from taking down her Stablemate as the Love Queen is able to get her first two points on the board with a “Love Is A Battlefield”.
-----
Post-Match:
Ai Moe had the honor of closing Night 5 of the RISE Grand Prix. She talked about her slow start and reminded that last year she almost pulled off the impossible by winning her block. This year she intends to not only win her block but the tournament as a whole. She also made sure to call out her opponent for Night 7 and the person who stopped her from winning A Block last year, JUNKO. There was a heated moment by Moe before we returned to the sweet person that everyone knew.
RISE Grand Prix Night 6 in Dolphins Arena Location: Nagoya, Japan Bye: KAGUYA
Match 1: Talia Areano [0] defeated Sora Todoh [0] Both competitors look to move out of the bottom of their block and keep their tournament dreams alive. Sora Todoh came out guns blazing and she looked to get not only her first win of the tournament but in JET. Talia Areano almost lost instantly but after a quick, fast-paced 5-minute match, it was Talia who came out on top as she finished the match with a Slice of Heaven.
Match 2: Mitra Marvel [2] defeated Vivina Wolfe [2] Tag team champion Vivina Wolfe was looking to rebound after a big loss to SAIKO, unfortunately she was facing a motivated Mitra Marvel who was looking to continue the hot streak that she started on Night 4. Both women were completely focused to get the win and soon it came as Mitra was able to connect with the Golden Hour followed by the Solar Flare.
Match 3: Mariko Reimon [2] defeated Momoko Honda [2] The next match of tonight’s show was a technical featuring the Academy Champion and Mariko Reimon. This was a huge opportunity for Mariko as she had the chance to get a potential Academy Championship match down the line. Momoko was looking to pursue the goal she set out for herself and that was to become the first dual Academy and World Champion. But those aspirations hit a roadblock as after a technical 15 minute, it was Reimon who came out on top with a Cannon Spike kick!
Match 4: SAIKO [4] defeated Rio Kurokawa [0] To say that Kurokawa’s tournament hasn’t started well would be an understatement. The former Tag and Trios Champion was in a situation where every match might need to be a must-win. It didn’t help that her opponent for this match is the one person in JET who has been dominating since her return. SAIKO sits comfortably on top of the B block with four points and after a valiant effort from Kurokawa, it was the Mob Psycho who came out on top with a Psycho Impaler.
Main Event: IZM [2] defeated Mizuki Nakata [4] In tonight’s main event, it was a first time ever match up. The winner of the 2019 Miss Manami Tributary Shield took on The Ace of JET. It was IZM versus Mizuki Nakata, there a great show of respect in the early goings in this match as the two shook hands. Following a technical class in the early stages, Mizuki was able to get the early advantage. She didn’t seem to target the hurt arm of IZM but rather focused on the back. There was a heated exchange of strikes as IZM attacked with Machine Gun chops, only to have Mizuki respond with a barrage of forearms. The finish arrived after 25 minutes of exciting action as IZM countered Mizuki’s Lanikea and immediately nail the Ace with a Kesagiri Chop! Another one more Kesagiri Chop that seemed that have knocked out Mizuki! One Roaring Lariat later IZM picks up one of the biggest singles win of her career as she just pinned The Ace of JET clean.
---
Post-Match:
As Mizuki was being helped up, she extended her hand to IZM who gladly shook it only to have it soon be raised high in the air by Mizuki. IZM soon took some time to cut her post-match promo and close the show. She talked about her recent success and how it has helped her confidence but she isn't overconfident. The Roaring Spirit that this is a grueling tour and she needs to keep going. She also spoke about how both Momoko Honda and Midori Miyamoto both set their goals on winning this tournament for some sort of reason and she's gonna throw her hand in there and stated that she wanted to win and do the unthinkable. Being both the main event and Semi-Main of Cinderella Story 2020 at the Budokan!

RISE GP Night 7 in Nagoya Congress Center Location: Nagoya, Japan Bye: Bethany Sharpe
Match 1: Amy Slayton [4] defeated Rei Kagura [2] Amy Slayton continued her undefeated streak in the RISE GP as she faced off against Rei Kagura in Night 7’s opening match. It only took a good five minutes to end this match as Amy put away Rei with The Devil’s Dance to seal the win and enter the top of the block with 6 points.
Match 2: Machiko Hasegawa [0] defeated Stacy DeVille [2] Machiko’s tournament hasn’t been going the way she probably hoped for but tonight was a more focused Machiko. She took it to Stacy right off the bat but DeVille was able to fight back well. After ten long minutes, Machiko nailed the Rose City competitor with a Hasegawa-Lariat to get her first two points of the RISE GP.
Match 3: Midori Miyamoto [4] defeated Megan Enders [2] In what could be considered as the biggest match of Megan Enders’ JET tenure, she took on JET World Champion Midori Miyamoto. The Champion is on a completely different level than the person Enders beat on Night 5 in Machiko Hasegawa. A valiant effort from Megan Enders as she fought back and nearly got the win on multiple occasions but once the champion locked in the Soul Reaver, it was over for Megan.
Match 4: Ai Moe [2] defeated JUNKO [6] Ai Moe promised to take the fight to JUNKO and get a small measure of last year’s tournament. JUNKO meanwhile attempted to keep her undefeated run in this year’s GP alive. Both women took it to one another in 20 minutes of great action featuring a brutal Apron Powerbomb spot from JUNKO but the underdog of JET continued to fight back. The finish of the match came when Ai was able to reverse the Dark Impulse attempt and apply a waist lock. One straight-jacket German followed by Love Is A Battlefield was all she wrote for the KAGUYA-Gun Second-In-Command.
Main Event: Tomoyo Hirate [2] defeated Natsu Toyama [2] A unique twist for the main event, the first-ever singles match between Natsu Toyama and Tomoyo Hirate. Even though they teamed together as Trios Champions, they have never faced one another in a singles match. Both are trained by JET Owner Azumi Goto and showcased what they learned from her. Brilliant athleticism and technical prowess from both women as they both needed these two points to keep up with Midori Miyamoto, JUNKO and Amy Slayton. Natsu Toyama though coming off a bye round was no match for a highly motivated Tomoyo Hirate who was coming off a big loss to the JET World Champion. The match ended in 23 minutes after Tomoyo pinned Natsu following an Epsilon Tract German Suplex.
-------
Post Match:
Tomoyo Hirate got a chance to cut tonight’s show-closing promo and immediately made it clear that this was her tournament to win. Short and simple for the normally stoic Prodigy.
RISE Grand Prix Night 8 in Nagoya Congress Center Location: Nagoya, Japan Bye: SAIKO
Match 1: Vivina Wolfe [2] defeated Sora Todoh [0] In tonight’s first tournament match, it was one-half of the JET World Tag Team Champions Vivina Wolfe taking on JET Young Girl Sora Todoh. It was clear who the Nagoya crowd were supporting from the start of the match, Sora has shown her heart in this tournament and made sure that every outing is better than the last. Tonight was a tough task but the young girl nearly the win following Shining Wizard but couldn’t get the three count. Luckily for Wolfe, she was able to rebound and seal the win with a decisive Whitechapel Massacre!
Match 2: Mariko Reimon [4] defeated KAGUYA [2] The next match saw the leader of KAGUYA-Gun return to action after her round off, she stepped in the ring to face Mariko Reimon and it seemed that both women were immediately not impressed with one another. A long battle of who could kick harder and one-upmanship ensued as the Nagoya Congress Center echoed with the sounds of kick pads connecting hard with flesh. The match was an aggressive battle that saw Mariko pull a massive upset by nailing the former JET World Champion with a Cannon Spike to seal a win!
Match 3: Momoko Honda [2] defeated Mizuki Nakata [4] In tonight’s next match, it was the Ace of JET taking on the JET Academy Champion. Mizuki Nakata vs. Momoko Honda in a first time ever singles bout. Both women coming off losses in their previous block match look to rebound and keep pace with Block Leader SAIKO who stands alone with 6 points. Momoko Honda was pulling out all the stops to win and the same goes with Mizuki but the match ended as Momoko slipped behind after a Lanikea attempt to land a huge Roundhouse Kick! This was followed up with an Earth-Quaker as Momoko Honda sealed the win and gets a big rebound win for herself!
Match 4: Talia Areano [2] defeated IZM [4] After picking up her first win of the RISE GP, it seemed that Talia Areano was in a great mood and confident in herself. She faced someone who also got a huge win on Night 6, that would be the Roaring Spirit IZM. After a handshake for sportsmanship, both women put on a technical wrestling clinic with neither giving the other an inch. Both women knew how the others worked thanks to their mini-match during the Tributary Shield match and took this to their advantage. Unfortunately for IZM, the Goddess of Victory smiled upon Talia tonight as Areano was able to get a bit of revenge for the loss at Goddess Dream as she nailed IZM with a Slice of Heaven for the win!
Main Event: Rio Kurokawa [0] defeated Mitra Marvel [4] In tonight’s main event, it was a battle of two of JET’s hardest working women. Rio Kurokawa having one of the worst starts in this year’s tournament faced off against Mitra Marvel! The two squared off in a brilliant match as both had much to prove, and with the success, her partner Tomoyo Hirate had in the night 7 main event, Rio was looking to accomplish the same and capture not only a massive win but her first win of the tournament. Both women battled on with multiple close calls for both but in the end, Mitra couldn’t kick out of the Ketsueki Toll Dragon Suplex!

Throughout the match Stacy worked on the right leg of Miyamoto, trying to break it down and lock in her Stretch Muffler submission but to no success. Stacy’s effort wasn’t in vain as she limited Midori’s offense by taking away the Shattercryst and Sliding Knee. The Champion made a massive comeback as the crowd in Kobe Sambo Hall was in support of a Midori win. Unfortunately, Stacy DeVille was able to shock the world tonight as she was able to land a massive snap Piledriver followed a DeVille Driver II to get what could be considered a massive upset.
----
Post-Match:
Stacy DeVille was on the mic to close out tonight’s show and immediately talked about the massive win she just got tonight. She thanked Midori Miyamoto for an amazing match and told her that if she didn’t win RISE Grand Prix, then she would like to challenge for the JET World Championship. She finished the promo by thanking the crowd with her minimal Japanese speaking knowledge.
RISE Grand Prix Night 10 in Kobe Sambo Hall Location: Kobe Bye: Mariko Reimon
Match 1: Rio Kurokawa [2] defeated Sora Todoh [0] Tonight's opening match was fast-paced but also hard-hitting as Sora Todoh continued to show her growth and fought back valiantly. Sora kicked out of a Catalyst Toll and even a Rolling Elbow but wasn’t able to kick out of a Ketsueki Toll.
Match 2: Vivina Wolfe [4] defeated IZM [4] Both women entered this match with different reasons, IZM looking to get a bounce-back win and Vivina Wolfe hoping to start a winning streak of sorts. Throughout the match Wolfe targeted the taped up shoulder of IZM for a majority of the bout. The Roaring Spirit wasn’t able to land any major offense as whenever she attempted something Wolfe would target the damaged right arm. Questions about if IZM was pushing herself even with the taped were asked as the match ended in 13:44 via a Whitechapel Massacre.
Match 3: Talia Areano [4] defeated Momoko Honda [4] A huge opportunity for Talia Areano as she entered tonight with a 2-2 after starting 0-2. Talia coming off a big win against IZM now took on JET Academy Champion Momoko Honda who seemed to be running into trouble of getting back to back wins. The Champion and potential future challenger put on an amazing for all to see as their exciting styles wowed the Kobe crowd. One of them had to lose and tonight was the Star Warrior as she couldn’t kick out of after being hit with the Slice Of Heaven.
Match 4: Mitra Marvel [4] defeated SAIKO [6] The undefeated KAGUYA-Gun member, SAIKO was up next in tonight’s semi-main against fan-favorite Mitra Marvel. It was in this city where Mitra Marvel almost won last year’s GP only to lose to eventual winner Kimiko Hayabusa. Meanwhile, her opponent has been undefeated ever since returning to JET and looked to continue her run of dominance. The crowd clearly had picked their side for this match as they were in high support for Mitra. The Solar Senshi fought valiantly and showcased why people had faith in her as she pulled off the upset win against SAIKO by nailing her with The Golden Hour boot and finally the Solar Flair.
Main Event: KAGUYA [2] and Mizuki Nakata [4] fought to a 30 Minute Time Limit Draw Tonight’s main event saw another match that has never happened in GP history, The Ace of JET Mizuki Nakata taking on The Black Heart and leader of KAGUYA-Gun, KAGUYA herself. There was definitely a hatred for one another as Mizuki and KAGUYA went at it throughout this entire match. Strikes, suplex and so much more as everything was pulled out by both women. KAGUYA kicking out of a Lanikea and Mizuki kicking out of the Vertical Spike Brainbuster. With their signature finishing moves unable to get the job done, both women pulled out new tricks. Mizuki got a close 2;99 count with an Air Raid Crash she called Lanikea II and KAGUYA even hitting Mizuki with her own family’s signature maneuver, The Nakata Family Exploder.
The end of the match saw both women desperately wanting to end it as Mizuki nailed KAGUYA with a Lanikea from the top rope only for the bell to be run and signaling this match ending in a Time-Limit Draw.

Undercard Results: - Q and Mariko Reimon defeated Spring TORA and Mizuki Nakata - Vivace Fortissimo defeated Saya Okita - IZM and Tori De Vil defeated Rio Kurokawa and Ruka Kojima
Match 1: Megan Enders [2] defeated Tomoyo Hirate [4] The opening contest of Night 11 was a first time ever match as Megan Enders took on former JET World Tag Team Champion and Academy Champion, Tomoyo Hirate. To the surprise of everyone, Hirate didn’t quite a good start to RISE GP and was inconsistent in stringing wins including tonight as she couldn’t beat Enders who was able to get a surprise win with a schoolgirl pin!
Match 2: Natsu Toyama [4] defeated Stacy DeVille [4] With both competitors coming off wins, only one of them would be able to continue their huge momentum. Stacy DeVille and Natsu Toyama put on an absolute clinic of fast-paced but still technically clean wrestling. Unfortunately one of them had to lose as Natsu was able to catch top rope Dropkick attempt with her own standing dropkick and followed it with a Final Answer Suplex.
Match 3: Bethany Sharpe w/Vivina Wolfe [4] defeated JUNKO [8] To make sure that Bethany Sharpe doesn’t suffer another loss, she had her tag partner Vivina Wolfe with her at ringside. JUNKO, the current block leader was looking to cement her place at the top of her block with another win. Unfortunately for the KAGUYA-Gun second-in-command, Vivina Wolfe being at ringside proved to be the deciding factor as she caused a distraction which allowed Bethanary Sharpe to nail JUNKO with the Dissonance and get the two points.
Match 4: Midori Miyamoto [6] and Ai Moe [6] fought to a time limit draw. Two-thirds of the former JET Trios Champions, Midori Miyamoto and Ai Moe squared with the opportunity for both women to catch with JUNKO following her loss to Bethany Sharpe. The JET World Champion had a huge chip on her shoulder as she attempted to get back to winning ways following her loss to Stacy DeVille. Ai Moe, on the other hand, was looking to continue her winning streak and extend it to 4 wins straight. Both women threw out everything at one another and after near falls, neither woman was able to put the other down and walk with two points as the bell rung as Ai Moe was trapped in the Soul Reaver.
Main Event: Machiko Hasegawa [2] defeated Amy Slayton [6] In tonight’s main event, it was the first time that Machiko and Amy faced off since their Triple Threat match at Lethal Takeover featuring IZM. The two women were given a massive spotlight to showcase their skills and did just that as they went at it for a good 20+ minutes. Throughout the match, Amy attempted breaking down Machiko with fiery kicks and strikes, she would massive combinations and take control in the early going. Machiko would make a valiant comeback landing big shots including a barrage of chops and her signature Michinoku Driver. The two women would continue to fight as the finish of the match saw Machiko ducking a Roundhouse Kick from Slayton and landing a HUGE Kesagiri Chop followed by a High-Impact Hasegawa-Lariat to secure the win.
RISE Grand Prix Night 12 in Hiroshima Industrial Center West Exhibition Hall Location: Hiroshima, Japan Bye: Mitra Marvel
Match 1: Rio Kurokawa [4] defeated IZM [4] The opening match of Night 12 saw two different competitors in their first-ever match. Both have different kinds of results going into their bout as Rio Kurokawa who is coming into this match with a 2-match win streak took on IZM who was coming tonight with a 2-match losing streak. Unfortunately, IZM tried her absolute hardest but she wasn’t able to beat Rio Kurokawa who won by submission using a Kowareta Armbar on the same right arm of IZM that the majority of people have targeted this tournament.
Match 2: SAIKO [6] defeated Sora Todoh [0] After her loss to Mitra Marvel, SAIKO was definitely not in a good mood and it showed as she was completely dominating in her match tonight. SAIKO didn’t Sora Todoh breath as the young girl struggled to get any kind of offense going, the match was short and it ended with a SAIKO victory as she nailed Sora with a Psycho Impaler.
Match 3: Momoko Honda [4] defeated Vivina Wolfe [6] Following Bethany Sharpe winning her match against JUNKO with the help of Wolfe at ringside, JET GM Yoko Kudo made it that Wolfegang were no longer allowed to be in each other’s corner for singles matches. This evened out the odds as Momoko Honda was able to get back to her winning ways and capture two more points in this tournament as she beat Wolfe via a Happy Landing Elbow Drop!
Match 4: KAGUYA [3] defeated Talia Areano [6] Areano’s winning streak brought a lot of attention to her as there was a huge section of the crowd supporting her tonight. KAGUYA, on the other hand, was looking to reset her tournament and get back to her winning ways. The Black Heart was focused and precise with her kicks and strikes, taking it to the foreign star. The match ended as KAGUYA was able to counter a Slice of Heaven and used Talia’s momentum to get her on her shoulders for an Osaka Eclipse. This was able soon followed up by a brutal Vertical Spike Brainbuster as KAGUYA snapped Talia’s winning streak.
Main Event: Mizuki Nakata [5] defeated Mariko Reimon [6] Tonight’s main event saw hometown girl and JET’s Chosen One, Mizuki Nakata taking on Mariko Reimon who stood in second place of her block with six points. Mizuki was able to fire quickly and early but Mariko landed one massive roundhouse and immediately she was in control. The crowd was cheering on Mizuki for the whole match, hoping she would make a comeback and she did just that. A fiery comeback from the former JET World Champion ensued as she had the crowd cheering her on thanks to a Giant Swing from Nakata. The Ace of JET soon nailed Mariko Reimon with a Lanikea and to the shock of everyone, Reimon kicked out but unfortunately, Mariko wasn’t able to kick out of a Hyperion.
------
Post Match:
With a massive pop, Mizuki Nakata was given the chance to speak in front of her hometown fans and she thanked everyone here tonight who supported, calling Hiroshima wrestling fans some of the best in the world. Mizuki soon made it clear what her end goal was, she claimed that it’s been more than a year since she was JET World Champion and two years since she won the RISE Grand Prix. She was the Ace of JET but had nothing to show for that and vowed to win the RISE Grand Prix, main event Cinderella Story for a third consecutive year and come back to Hiroshima as JET World Champion!

RISE GP Night 13 in Sapporo Suskino Mars Gym Location: Sapporo, Japan Bye: Megan Enders
Match 1: JUNKO [8] defeated Rei Kagura [4] The first tournament contest of tonight’s show pitted KAGUYA-Gun members against one another as Rei Kagura took on JUNKO. To the surprise of no one, Rei Kagura willingly laid down right from the moment the bell rung to the hatred of everyone. JUNKO continues to have a strong lead over A Block thanks to Rei giving her the win.
Match 2: Ai Moe [7] defeated Natsu Toyama [6] After the disrespectful opening match, this bout definitely made up for it as two fan favorites tore the house down in their second ever match. Natsu Toyama and Ai Moe had a fantastic 15 minute classic, Ai Moe has been on an unstoppable roll since winning her first GP match against Rei Kagura and Natsu wasn’t able to put an end to that hot streak as she fell to a “Love Is A Battlefield” like so many others. Ai Moe moves on to nine points, just one point away from breaking JUNKO’s lead over the block.
Match 3: Stacy DeVille [4] defeated Tomoyo Hirate [4] With block competitors looking to keep their hopes of winning GP alive, this became must win for Hirate and DeVille. The two technical wrestlers got the best amount of time to showcase their talent as Stacy DeVille had control for the majority of the match and the crowd in Sapporo cheered for Tomoyo to make a comeback. The Prodigy did make her eventual comeback, nailing Stacy with Strikes and Suplexes but it wasn’t enough as one Snap Piledriver DeVille Driver II, Stacy walked out as the winner of this bout.
Match 4: Bethany Sharpe [6] defeated Machiko Hasegawa [4] With coming off huge wins, this was the chance for both competitors to continue their momentum. Bethany Sharpe was in the control of this match, taking down Machiko and not letting the power wrestler any chance to breathe. Sharpe focused on the left leg of Machiko for a majority of the match and it paid off as Machiko’s legs couldn’t support the weight when Machiko wanted to hit one of her power moves. The match ended after 13 minutes as it took only one B-Flat from the Tag Champ to end this match.
Main Event: Midori Miyamoto [7] defeated Amy Slayton [6] The two former A Block leaders took on one another in a first time ever singles match. Amy Slayton hasn’t had the best run of form recently as she is going through a two match losing streak, unable to pick up a win. Midori Miyamoto hasn’t been able to secure a win to keep pace with JUNKO for the top spot of the block. With a lot on the line, the two women went at it for 20 plus minutes of fast-paced action. Slayton did everything in her power and pulled out maneuvers from her offense that were never seen before by the JET Audience to put away the JET World Champion but Midori lived on. The JET World Champion fired back and unfortunately for Amy Slayton, she couldn’t kick out of a Shattercryst as the JET World Champion stands tall after an amazing main event bout.
-----
Post Match:
Midori Miyamoto for the second time this tournament had the opportunity to close the show and she gave Amy Slayton words of encouragement, telling her that she can definitely rebound from this losing streak. The JET World Champ soon finished reminding of what she plans to do as she wants to do the impossible and become the first ever JET World Champion to win RISE Grand Prix.
RISE Grand Prix Night 14 in Suskino Mars Gym Location: Sapporo, Japan Bye: Mizuki Nakata
Match 1: KAGUYA [5] defeated Vivina Wolfe [6] The opening match of tonight’s show featured one of the JET World Tag Team Champion, Vivina Wolfe as she took on KAGUYA. The Black Heart General seems to be in an amazing hot streak ever since beating Talia in her last match as she took it to the champ. KAGUYA was able to win this bout as she nailed Wolfe with a Vertical Spike Brainbuster
Match 2: Mitra Marvel [6] defeated Sora Todoh [0] One of the big stories of this year’s GP has been Sora Todoh’s attempt to get her first win in JET. The crowd in Sapporo were loudly behind Todoh as she took on Mitra Marvel, Todoh was on fire right off the bat landing a running dropkick onto Mitra Marvel. During the match, Sora had an answer for all of Mitra’s moves as she counted the Sailor Sun’s attempt at a Solar Flare with a small package that almost got her the win. Unfortunately for Sora, her adrenaline cost her as she nailed by a Golden Hour Big Boot and that was the end of the match.
Match 3: Rio Kurokawa [6] defeated Momoko Honda [6] Rio Kurokawa’s RISE Grand Prix has completely turned around as she has been able to go from 0-2 to now being 3-2 and one of the most impressive winning streaks of the tournament. Momoko Honda continued her great run as well but was looking to still get back-to-back wins in this year’s tournament. Both strikers put on a contest that featured A LOT of kicks and it showed as they both ended this match with bruises. The match ended after the 20 minute match as Rio countered the Earth-Quaker into a Ketsueki Toll, sealing the win with her patented Dragon Suplex.
Match 4: IZM [4] defeated SAIKO [8] With her right arm constantly being targeted, the commentators and many analysts were impressed with IZM’s fighting spirit. She hasn’t given up and that meant a lot, she walked into this match facing a dominant SAIKO. Even though the Mob Psycho is an aggressive wrestler she has been able to find the weakness in her opponent and unfortunately for the Roaring Spirit, her taped up right arm was pretty much a bullseye. The match raged on for a good while as the crowd were cheering on IZM and that helped her immensely as she didn’t quit at all, even kicking out of a Luciola Splash. She was able to land a massive Torment Breaker for the win!
Main Event: Talia Areano [6] defeated Mariko Reimon [6] With SAIKO losing to IZM, this was a great chance for one of these two women to secure a three way tie for B Block lead. Talia Areano after having her impressive winning streak broken was looking to rebound and same would go for her opponent Mariko Reimon who hasn’t had the best run of form recently. Areano was on her game and so was Reimon, this became a battle of who outlast the other. This would be decided after 25 minutes of action as Talia Areano picked up the win with a Slice of Heaven.
-----
Post-Match:
For the first time since signing with JET, Areano was closing a JET show. She was handed a mic and began to speak in english, luckily the fans understood bits of her promo. Talia talked about how good it felt to be in Japan where the competition level is insanely high and Areano talked about how she was in the mood to make history, the chance to become the first ever proper foreigner to win RISE Grand Prix. She ended the promo by thanking the crowd and sending them home happy.

Machiko Hasegawa was able to fight off any attempts of Rei Kagura trying to cheat to win and seal her with a powerful Hasegawa Lariat!
Match 2: Stacy DeVille [6] defeated Megan Enders [4] Both competitors were familiar with one another as they faced off during the Miss Manami Tributary Shield Match at Goddess Dream. Stacy DeVille looked to keep pace with her block’s top three and get up to eight while Enders was looking to rebound from what has been a disaster of a tournament. Unfortunately for Megan, tonight was not her night as she tapped out to a Stretch Muffler from DeVille after 13 minutes of action.
Match 3: Natsu Toyama [6] defeated Amy Slayton [6] With both competitors at six points, one of them would be able to move to the eight point mark and catch up with Block Leader JUNKO. After a quick 14 minutes, it was Toyama who walked out with a win as she nailed Amy with a Final Answer Suplex to move up to eight points.
Match 4: Bethany Sharpe [8] defeated Midori Miyamoto [9] Bethany Sharpe was looking for a statement win as she took on the JET World Champion Midori Miyamoto who walked in with a huge chance of claiming a three point lead over JUNKO. Both women wrestled for nearly the whole 30 minute time limit as neither was able to put the other down before that, with the two of them nearly exhausted it was about who had the left bit of energy in the tank. The match soon saw its end after 29 minutes as it took both a B-Flat and a massive Grand Finale!
Main Event: Tomoyo Hirate [4] defeated Ai Moe [9] With JUNKO having the night off and Midori Miyamoto suffering a loss to Bethany Sharpe just before this match, this was a huge chance for Ai Moe to capture the lead and be at the top of the block with 11 points but she first had to beat Tomoyo Hirate who has underperformed during this tournament when compared to her tag partner Rio Kurokawa. Hirate was able to spark a massive comeback as she nailed Ai Moe with a Release Snap German Suplex but the former Academy Champion was able to fight back! Both women had a massive back and forth battle but the match ended as Tomoyo was able to duck a “Love Is A Battlefield” attempt and follow up with an O'Connor Roll into an Epsilon Tract!

Undercard Results: - Yuki Takigawa, Midori Miyamoto and Machiko Hasegawa defeated JUNKO, Julia Zhang and Rei Kagura - Natsu Toyama and Ruka Kojima defeated Valeria Barbato and Vivina Wolfe
Match 1: Vivina Wolfe [6] defeated Mariko Reimon [6] The first match of tonight’s tournament action saw one-half of Wolfegang Symphony Vivina Wolfe take on Mariko Reimon. Both women stuck at six points are looking to move up and catch up with their block leaders, the two were equally hated tonight by the Kyoto crowd but it seems that the fans were showing more hatred towards the foreigner Wolfe but that seemed to have no bothered her at all as she secured her fourth win of the tournament with a Whitechapel Massacre!
Match 2: IZM [6] defeated Mitra Marvel [8] After a massive win over SAIKO in her last GP match, IZM was looking to continue getting wins and try to capture one against one of the three block leaders, Mitra Marvel. Both women respectfully shook hands before getting down to their match, IZM’s right arm continued to be the big story of her tournament but Mitra didn’t target the weak spot at all during their match as that might have costed her this bout. IZM was able to get her fourth win of this year’s GP and seal the match with a massive Torment Breaker!
Match 3: Mizuki Nakata [7] defeated Talia Areano [8] This was a huge opportunity for Mizuki Nakata as she took on Talia Areano in the first ever singles match between the two women. With Mitra Marvel suffering a loss, this could be what Mizuki needed to get in the lead of her block. Areano after a massive main event win over Mariko Reimon in her last GP match was looking to continue the momentum train rolling but unfortunately for the foreigner, The Ace of JETi was too much for her and she fell to a Lanikea in 15 minutes.
Match 4; KAGUYA w/Julia Zhang [7] defeated Rio Kurokawa [8] Similar to Mizuki, KAGUYA had a huge opportunity to get a massive win over a block leader and catapult herself to the top of her block. Both women were familiar with one another thanks to their World Tag Team Championship match at Goddess Dream. KAGUYA and Rio definitely didn’t each other and it showed as the two of them spent the majority of this match trying to break down the other with strikes. Barrages of sickening combinations were the highlights as in the end it wasn’t a strike but interference from Julia Zhang that helped KAGUYA win. The Black Heart General ended this match with a HUGE Vertical Spike Brainbuster, not only getting the win but ending Kurokawa’s impressive winning streak.
Main Event: Momoko Honda [6] and SAIKO [8] fought to a 30-minute time limit draw A lot on the line as both women looked to keep up with new block leaders, Mizuki Nakata and KAGUYA. There were cheers from the crowd for Momoko Honda to fight back as they were clearly cheering for their hometown girl. The Academy Champion was soon able to get her a massive comeback sequence, and began to lay into the KAGUYA-Gun member with kicks and strikes.
Both women did everything in their power to put the other down but neither was able to get the win. This match ends as a time limit draw and both SAIKO and Momoko receive one point.

The Forever Roaring Spirit was able to put away the young girl with a simple Tokyo Cloverleaf for her first submission win.
Match 3: SAIKO [9] and KAGUYA [9] fought to a 15 time-limit draw Unlike when Rei Kagura and JUNKO faced off, this time both KAGUYA-Gun members were willing to go war and take each other on. The Black Heart General and her Secret Weapon took each other on in a brutal match as neither gave the other an inch. The two showcased their aggressive wrestling style with neither being able to put the other down and every time SAIKO went for the Psycho Impaler, KAGUYA had a counter. With the crowd supporting her, the Star Warrior was able to make her massive comeback and got fired up! A massive massive barrage of strikes put down Mitra Marvel as the champion soon ended The Sailor Sun’s valiant effort with a Happy Landing Elbow.
