JET Presents
“Sendai Spotlight/4th Graduate Class Debut 5th Anniversary Tour Night 1”
Date: November 6th, 2019
Location: Shin-Kiba 1st Ring/From Tokyo, Japan
The show opens with a recap of the incredible night that was RISE Grand Prix 2019 Finals, JET returns back on road with JET 28. “Reimei” by My First Story featuring Sayuri plays as we cut to Shin-Kiba 1st Ring packed for tonight’s show. Naomi Serizawa is in the ring as she raises her microphone.
Naomi Serizawa: Ladies and Gentlemen, please welcome JET General Manager… Yoko Kudo!!
“Reimei” starts to play again as Yoko Kudo made her to the ring, she was soon handed a microphone by Naomi who left the ring and left Yoko alone in front of the fans.
Yoko Kudo: Ladies and Gentlemen! How is everyone doing tonight?! Welcome to JET 28 from Shin-Kiba!
A large pop from the crowd as she soon continues while looking around at the venue.
Yoko Kudo: I know a lot of you guys are still recovering from the amazing RISE Grand Prix tour but it’s time to move towards our next big event! Or should I say our two big events, this tour will have two massive events in the form of the upcoming Anniversary Show and Sendai Spotlight but those events have their main events set in stone. I’m thinking ahead to something to even bigger, I’m thinking about the bigger picture, I’m thinking about Collision Course II from Ryogoku Sumo Hall and the big revival of the Queen Of The World Tournament! There is so much excitement since the announcement of the tournament and I wanted to capitalize on it with a few announcements. At Sendai Spotlight we’re going to be holding our qualifiers for the event and I have 8 talented individuals in mind.
The crowd pops at the announcement of this as Yoko continues.
Yoko Kudo: These talented women were all chosen for multiple reasons and I decided that the best way to figure out who will represent JET is with two different four-way matches! Without further ado, here are the eight women selected for the qualifiers!
Former JET World Tag Team Champion, Rio Kurokawa
Natsu Toyama
Rei Kagura
Former JET Academy Champion, Ai Moe
Vivace Fortissimo
Amy Slayton
Hanna Rockford
Former JET Tag Team Champion, Tomoyo Hirate
Yoko Kudo: All of these women impressed the JET Board during the RISE Grand Prix and have all viable reasons to represent JET for this tournament! We’ll announce the four-way matches along with the rest of the card for Sendai Spotlight. That’s gonna be all from me tonight, I hope everyone enjoys this amazing show set for all of you!
“Reimei” plays once more as Yoko Kudo takes her leave and hands the microphone back to Naomi as we get set for tonight’s first match.
Opening Match/Tag Team Match: Mitra Marvel and Talia Areano versus Natsu Toyama and Momoko Honda
Tonight’s opening match saw a build towards the JET Academy Championship at Sendai Spotlight between Talia Areano and Momoko Honda. Along with that was the potential Queen Of The World Qualifier opponents in Natsu and Mitra. The action was fast-paced and quick as things got heated between Champion and Challenger but the match ended with Natsu Toyama who is still feeling the effects of a brutal GP Finals getting nailed with a Solar Flare from Mitra Marvel for the 3 count.
(Winners - Mitra Marvel and Talia Areano)
We cut to Mizuki Nakata backstage for a pre-taped interview just hours before the show. She has a miniature of the RISE Grand Prix trophy and a briefcase containing the contract on her as she takes her seat.
Naomi Serizawa: Mizuki, thank you so much for joining me right now.
Mizuki Nakata: Your welcome, Naomi! It’s always a pleasure.
Naomi Serizawa: We should talk about the amazing match you had on Finals night against Natsu Toyama to capture your second RISE Grand Prix in three years.
Mizuki had a smile on her face as she replied back to Naomi.
Mizuki Nakata: Natsu is like a little sister to me, her Mom considered me as a daughter just like everyone here. She was coming off a heartbreaking loss and there were doubts if she would even make it to this finals but she did make it. Arguably her road to GP Finals was tougher and part of me felt horrible for defeating her but I had to move away from the emotions I had for her as an older “sibling”.
Naomi Serizawa: There’s a lot of excitement in the air for your 5th Anniversary show, are you personally excited for it yourself?
Mizuki Nakata: Of course, I’m excited for the show! This is my 5th Anniversary which means I can look back with reflection and be in awe of how amazing this career
Naomi Serizawa: And now what is next for you? You have quite a while till Cinderella Story 2020, what is next for you?
Mizuki Nakata: I’m not sure, I won’t lie when I say that nothing is set in stone. I want to know who I will face at Cinderella Story and I personally hope that Midori Miyamoto will be the one I get to face for the JET World Champion. It will bring us full circle on who is the leader for JET’s future.
Singles Match: Q versus Ruka Kojima
JET Young Girl Ruka Kojima had a massive challenge ahead of her as she took on Q who has been undefeated since joining JET. The match complete and utter domination from Q as Ruka wasn’t able to get any offense going and whatever she attempted was ended quickly by Q. The match ended after a Q’s Landing sealed the win!
(Winner - Q)
- Post Match: Q returned backstage before saying anything she was approached by KAGUYA who extended her hand. Her attempt at a handshake was accepted as Q shook her hand signaling that she was aligning with KAGUYA-Gun, not a single word was spoken as KAGUYA handed her the KAGUYA-Gun T-shirt she carries around.
Tag Team Match: Hanna Rockford and Julia Zhang versus Spring TORA and Saya Okita
In tonight’s next contest we had another main roster versus young girls match up as Spring TORA and Saya Okita squared up against Hanna Rockford and KAGUYA-Gun member Julia Zhang. Unlike their fellow young girl, Ruka. Both TORA and Okita were able to handle themselves quite well and put up an amazing fight but in the end, the experience of Zhang and Rockford won out as Hanna sealed the win with a Kiss Of Death onto Okita.
(Winners - Hanna Rockford and Julia Zhang)
A couple of seconds elapses before the picture starts to come to life. Joshi Extreme Takeover’s World Champion is seated at a glass conference table. The championship belt itself rests on the left side of the table.
Midori Miyamoto: Hello.
Midori’s Japanese is crisp as she leans back in her chair.
Midori Miyamoto: Now that JET’s Grand Prix 2019 Finals have been released for viewing, I have a few words to speak. And as always, I’m going to speak truthfully and honestly.
There is a momentary pause before Midori continued.
Midori Miyamoto: JUNKO—
Midori Miyamoto: You’ve been a blight on this company since the moment you stepped through those doors. You’re foolish. You’re reckless. And you attempted to tear this promotion down. And for the love of God, I don’t understand why JET allowed you to slink back from the shadows and re-join the promotion.
Her brow wrinkles in disgust as she shakes her head.
Midori Miyamoto: It was a mistake to bring you back into the fold. It was a mistake to even allow KAGUYA-Gun to continue to exist as an entity, based on the trouble it has caused this company.
A resounding pop circulates through the room as a result of Midori snapping her fingers.
Midori Miyamoto: Fortunately, it’s the duty of the world champion to correct those mistakes. It’s the duty of the world champion to protect this promotion from varmints like you. And that’s exactly what I’m going to do.
She nods her head.
Midori Miyamoto: Once again, I’m going to pick my sword and stroll to the frontline. Others may be afraid of you and the rest of your crew. I’m not. That’s been demonstrated; that’s been proven.
Midori Miyamoto: And when Sendai Spotlight rolls around, I plan on putting you down for the last time.
There’s a finality to her words. And those words cling to the air as Midori shifts her attention to another matter.
Midori Miyamoto: I suppose it would be fitting to speak to the Grand Prix winner as well.
There’s a small pause.
Midori Miyamoto: Congratulations, Mizuki. There’s no one in JET that can say that your victory wasn’t earned. You fought hard, and you fought with honor.
Midori Miyamoto: However—
Midori takes a couple of seconds to think about what she wants to say. A pensive look etches onto her features.
Midori Miyamoto: I do have a gripe with you.
Another couple of seconds pass.
Midori Miyamoto: You and I were teammates at one point in time. We were allies. I looked up to you, in some regards. I even considered you a friend.
A moment of silence.
Midori Miyamoto: And yet, you couldn’t even address me directly in your post-match speech, Mizuki?
She shakes her head once again.
Midori Miyamoto: Who is that ‘certain someone who is currently holding the belt,’ Mizuki? Hmm? And if everyone knows who she is and what she's done, then why can’t you say her name?”
Even though it is a rhetorical question, Midori gazes at the camera as if she expects an actual answer.
Midori Miyamoto: Mizuki? I realize you may not like the fact that I became the JET World Champion. I’m sure both you and Ai had similar aspirations. And you may not like the fact that you failed to claim it when you and Mitra challenged me months ago at Sakura Blooming. However, I’ve earned the right to be recognized as the JET World Champion. I’ve earned the right to be addressed by my name. And I’ve done so by defending this championship against anyone who has decided to step up. I’ve done so by representing the promotion and fighting against the best that LAW, OWA, and Yugen have had to offer. The Ace of JET should be able to respect that.
There’s a small pause.
Midori Miyamoto: So with all due respect Mizuki, I need to emphasize the following―
Midori Miyamoto: My name is Midori Miyamoto, and I am the JET World Champion. And when it’s your time to challenge, one-on-one? I’ll still be the champion.
She wraps her thoughts up with a single head nod.
Midori Miyamoto: I’ll see you at the finish line, Mizuki.
The picture slowly begins to fade out.

Six-Women Tag Team Match: Vivace Fortissimo, Machiko Hasegawa and Yuki Takigawa versus Wolfegang Symphony (Vivina Wolfe and Bethany Sharpe) and Vanessa Santiago
With Yuki Takigawa and Machiko Hasegawa being a tag team, they haven’t had the best record against the JET World Tag Team Champs but they still had intentions of challenging them for the belts. The match saw Vivace get the early advantage and showcase her talent only for the Tag Team Champs to turn the match in their advantage. After having the match in their favor, Machiko got a massive hot tag and started to take on all three members of her team, laying into everyone with chops and strikes. To the shock of everyone, the match ended with Vivina Wolfe taking a reverse roundhouse kick from Takigawa followed up with a massive Hasegawa-Bomb from Machiko! Hasegawa just pinned one-half of the JET World Tag Team Champions.
(Winners - Vivace Fortissimo, Machiko Hasegawa and Yuki Takigawa)
- Post-Match: Machiko gave a post-match promo while Yuki let her partner speak. Hasegawa said that them pinning the champs should let them be in line for a title shot.
Main Event/Six Women Tag Team Match: KAGUYA-Gun (KAGUYA, JUNKO, and SAIKO) versus Midori Miyamoto, Sora Todoh, and Ai Moe
The main event of tonight’s show created a lot of tension in the air as KAGUYA still seemed furious about losing to Sora, while the champion and challenger for the JET World Title Championship match at Sendai Spotlight were definitely were eyeing one another. The match started with a brawl as KAGUYA-Gun blindsided Midori, Ai, and Sora. KAGUYA-Gun were able to get the early advantage after a fiery start from Ai Moe. The JET World Champion was able to turn the tide once she got in and immediately took on all three members of KAGUYA-Gun.
JUNKO and Midori brawled from the moment they locked eyes. Neither was willing to give an inch as almost like a pack of wolves, KAGUYA and SAIKO helped their stablemate only for Sora Todoh to make a save! She was showing the fire that she showed during GP and took out both KAGUYA and SAIKO. The crowd was electric as Midori tagged in Sora and the young girl went to work, taking on JUNKO. Unfortunately, KAGUYA was able to sneak a blind tag at the end stage of the match and took advantage as Sora was focused on JUNKO. She soon nailed the protege of Stephanie Matsuda with a rolling elbow to the back of the head that knocked Sora out. She soon signaled JUNKO to keep Midori out of the match. KAGUYA quickly picked up Sora and immediately nailed her with a Vertical Spike Brainbuster that she now calls D4C for the win.
(Winners - KAGUYA-Gun)
- Post Match: KAGUYA demands that she is given a microphone as there is still a look of rage on her face. The GP loss seems to have really taken a toll on her. She asked if Sora felt proud about getting her first win in JET and used KAGUYA to do so. KAGUYA blamed Sora for costing her the RISE Grand Prix trophy. She was going to make Todoh regret it and make sure that when she was done with the young girl, her “Half-Breed” of a mentor was gonna see her in a hospital bed. She soon yelled at Yoko Kudo and told the GM who was watching this from backstage to book a match for Sendai Spotlight! Sora Todoh versus KAGUYA!
