Date: February 26th, 2020 - Afternoon Show
Location: Osaka World Pavillion
We kicked off the Cinderella Story tour with a rundown of the show by our commentators, multiple singles matches but it seemed that all of the matches had a purpose. Along with that was the huge news that Stephanie Matsuda is here in the building for the first show of the day.
JET Hanako Nakamoto soon made an appearance as the crowd in her hometown was happy to see her. She talked about the excitement in the air for Cinderella Story, the marquee event for JET. She had a reason to show up tonight and announced that all of the singles matches for Today’s doubleheader show will be first-round matches of the Biggest Dreamer Tournament but not just that, this is year’s Biggest Dreamer Tournament winner will also be the brand new and inaugural JET NATIONAL CHAMPION!
Singles Match/JET National Championship & Biggest Dreamer Tournament Rd 1:
Sora Todoh vs. Chloe Eastend
In a rematch of their exciting bout from JET 30, Chloe Eastend took on Sora Todoh in a fast-paced opener that the crowd loved. Both young stars were given the time to showcase everything they had, the match nearly ended after 10 minutes when Sora hit Chloe with a Greased Lightning but Eastend kicked out just in time. The crowd was pumped as soon Chloe countered a Shin-Ryu Suplex attempt into an Abandonship (Death Valley Driver into the turnbuckles) for the win and ties up this youthful rivalry at one apiece!
(Winner - Chloe Eastend)
POST-MATCH: Chloe celebrated her win as she helped Sora up to her feet and told her that the score was now 1-1 between them. Sora nods as she leaves the ring as Chloe celebrates her entry into the quarterfinals
We cut to a pre-taped interview from JET World Tag Team Champions, Wolfegang Symphony who seemed to be an all-time high for confidence as they talk about how they retained over Momoko Honda and IZM. Jokingly Sharpe talked about how she should be in the conversation for a future Academy Championship match if Momoko retains. They soon talked about how no one else is on their level and want a unique challenger for Cinderella Story. They won’t be competing on the day show but Sharpe will later demolish Natsu Toyama on the evening show in their non-tournament match.

Amy Slayton vs. Mitra Marvel
Crowd favorite Mitra Marvel is in action tonight as she took on Amy Slayton in their first-round matchup, the winner of this bout would face Chloe Eastend. Both women had a lot in common for their moveset as neither gave the other an inch. The match ended in 12 minutes when Amy Slayton caught a spinning Mitra Marvel in the Devil’s Dance (Swinging Reverse STO)! The Red Queen moves on to the quarterfinals of the tournament to face Chloe Eastend.

A video package for main event of JET 33, the evening show of this Osaka trip played. The main event is set as Midori Miyamoto and Momoko Honda taking on their respective challenger IZM and Mizuki Nakata.
We return from the break as the crowd erupted with the beginning of “Rainy Days” by Boogie playing. Stephanie Matsuda made her way out to much excitement, the last time Matsuda appeared on JET it was back at Goddess Dream in this very city where she challenged Azumi Goto to their eventual match at Trifecta. From the first moment she stepped into the ring, Stephanie had a mic in her hand, the crowd was itching to hear what she had to say. The War Queen was interested in one thing and she made her point immediately, she wanted to compete at Cinderella Story 2020. It had been more than half a decade since she competed at the event.
Stephanie Matsuda knew there was one way to get a match at the event and soon called out anyone in the locker room who wanted to face her at the event. As she patiently waited for someone to answer her challenge, the lights went out at Osaka World Pavillion before there was a loud sound of metal hitting something! The lights return, Stephanie is down and standing over her with a steel chair in hand is KAGUYA!! The Black Heart General soon drops the chair and immediately picks up Stephanie who is still out cold before hitting her with a Vertical Spike Brainbuster onto the chair!
The crowd let KAGUYA have it as she doesn’t seem to care, she soon picks up the mic that Stephanie was holding and makes her intention clear with one statement
“Challenge accepted, half-breed!”
Semi-Main/Singles Match/JET National Championship & Biggest Dreamer Tournament Rd 1:
Makiya Kusanagi vs. Julia Zhang w/ Rei Kagura
The crowd was fully behind Kusanagi especially after the brutal attack by the leader of KAGUYA-Gun. Makiya spent the match fighting a two-on-one for a majority of the match. She was soon able to make a valiant comeback and fight off Rei’s tactics but one more distraction from Kagura costed Makiya the match as Zhang nailed her from behind with Thrust Kick. After a brutal Brainbuster, Zhang got the win and moved on to the quarterfinals where she will face the winner of tonight’s main event between Masumi Tsutsumi and Talia Areano.
(Winner - Julia Zhang)
Soon a recap of all the past Cinderella Story main events is shown, from the main event of the inaugural Cinderella Story event where Miss Manami was defeated by then-JET World Champion Nina Sanada to last year’s main event where Mizuki Nakata defeated Nina Sanada.
Main Event/Singles Match/JET National Championship & Biggest Dreamer Tournament Rd 1:
Masumi Tsutsumi w/ Narumi Tsutsumi vs. Talia Areano
A unique main event as the Afternoon was all about the National Championship tournament, it was Masumi Tsutsumi versus Talia Areano with the winner facing Julia Zhang in the quarterfinals. After a handshake, the two women put on a technical clinic with them getting the best chance to showcase their abilities in the ring. Masumi Tsutsumi was able to overpower Talia in the early stages and worked on Talia’s leg with her kicks. It soon became a battle of Masumi’s strikes against Talia’s agile grappling, Masumi soon overcame Talia and nearly sealed the deal with a Master Sword (Rolling Sword) but Areano kicked out. Masumi soon got win right after with a beautiful and dangerous Sunset Densetsu!
(Winner - Masumi Tsutsumi)
POST-MATCH:
Masumi was able to win her first main event match, she soon is handed a microphone but instead hands it to her twin sister who lets Masumi’s intention be known. The pair immediately make sure to send a message to their quarterfinals opponent that the match will be on even playing field even with Rei Kagura being at ringside. Narumi soon makes it clear that Masumi truly intends to become the first-ever JET National Champion! With that, “She Rules The Heavens” by Yuji Kajura plays and the show comes to an end.
