SquareEnix & Lethal Angels of Wrestling proudly presents LETHAL HEARTS II!
The scene opens up to a near-empty arena populated by only a select few fans and Hollywood Fight Club trainees wearing face masks. The camera shifts to LAW Commentators Melissa Flash and Kat Ricci sitting at their desk.
Melissa Flash: Welcome to LAW’s biggest night of the year! Welcome to Lethal Hearts 2!
Kat Ricci: Everything has led up to this! Seven matches to settle the score! Without further ado, let’s get to our first match!
London Morris: The following is a Last Woman Standing Match! First, making her way to the ring…
"This Is The New Shit" by Marilyn Manson plays as Sidney Knight walks out wearing a black Union Jack face mask and matching gloves. She wears a smug expression as she eyes the empty stands. She slowly struts down the ramp, cracking her knuckles.
London Morris: From London, England, United Kingdom! Weighing in at 125 lbs! "Ms. Devil May Cry" Sidney Knight!
Melissa Flash: What appears to be the final episode in the Knight/Rose saga, Sidney’s going out of her way to ensure that Jessica Rose doesn’t have any means of returning back to the world of Western wrestling.
Kat Ricci: With Rose on her way to JET next season, Sidney Knight wants the fellow Brit and former partner to remain far away in Japan for the remainder of her career. If she wins tonight, her wish will be fulfilled!
Sidney climbs into the ring and stretches her arms as the music dies down. "Nowhere to Hide" by Crobot plays as Jessica Rose walks out, her outfit darker and more serious than usual. She also has a new hairstyle. As she makes her way down the ring, Sidney rolls her eyes.
London Morris: Her opponent! From Leeds, England! Weighing in at 121 lbs! “The Shining Light” Jessica Rose!
Kat Ricci: Jessica’s debuting a new look tonight. I hope that hunger matches that fierce vibe she’s putting on! Ever since her former Sugar n’ Spice partner betrayed her, Rose hasn’t been the same. I think she’s beginning to realize just how affected she was by all of this.
Melissa Flash: Well it’s a question of whether or she can get over that hump from previous losses and get some momentum going here tonight!
Jessica climbs into the ring and faces off with her rival.
DING! DING! DING!
From the moment the bell rang, Jessica gets the upper hand by push Sidney into a corner and unleashing a flurry of kicks. Sid shoves her away and misses a running clothesline to which Jess counters with a roundhouse kick. A stunned Sidney falls into her opponent’s arms and is tossed to the outside. Jessica wasn’t finished yet as she slid out and threw Sidney into the steel barricade! Knight is denied recovery as Rose picks her up and starts wailing on her against the barricade. Overcome by a year’s worth of frustration, Rose grabs Sidney by the hair and throws her into the barricade again! She takes full advantage of the rules by stomping on Sid’s ribs without having to worry about a countout. Jessica picks up Sidney and rolls her back into the ring. Rose pursues her prey, who rolls back to the outside to avoid her on the adjacent side of the ring. Jessica rolls out to the apron and nails Knight with a running apron Meteora. Pleased with herself, she orders the ref to begin the count.
Ref: One! Two! Three! Four!
Melissa Flash: Sidney’s up and she’s trying to separate herself from a vengeful Jessica! Rose just slapped her across the face! Snap suplex to the floor! Jessica is nothing but spice tonight1
Kat Ricci: This is the culmination of months spent being under the heel of Knight! I feel like the JET Championship match she had with Midori Miyamoto brought something out of her. Despite losing, there’s this renewed sense of vigor within Jessica, a fire we haven’t seen before! Jeez! She’s just kicking Knight around! We’re not used to seeing Sidney looking so vulnerable!
Jessica picks her up and rolls her back into the ring. When she slides in, she’s met with a superkick, followed by an Enzuigiri. As the ref counts, a stunned Sidney used the ropes to pull herself back up. The ref goes for a ten count, but Jess is already back on her feet. Sid tries to mount an offense, but Rose wouldn’t let up. Knight rolls out of the ring and pulls Jessica out by the legs. Jessica is helpless as Sid hits a brutal London Blackout (Modified headscissors driver) to her into the edge of the apron! Jessica falls like a ragdoll to the floor, prompting the ref to begin his count.
Ref: One! Two! Three! Four!
Jessica finds a way to get to her feet but is soon knocked back down by a running dropkick to the chest! With her opponent down, Sidney pulls out a table from underneath the ring but stops halfway when she sees that Rose is stunned. She leaves the able unfolded and begins strutting as the ref counts again.
Ref: One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven! Eight!
Melissa Flash: Jessica’s up! Sidney has her in her grasp and THROWS HER INTO THE STEEL STAIRS!
Kat Ricci: Sid is matching Jessica’s wrath! She’s not finished yet as she’s dragging Jessica by the ponytail and throws her into a nearby chair! She’s refusing to let up! Sidney Knight’s been taking it to Jessica Rose and now the ref is counting!
Ref: One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven! Eight!
As Jessica struggles to stand, Sidney, grabs a kendo stick from underneath the ring and whacks it over Rose’s back! The count starts over as Jessica withers around in pain. Every time the ref reaches halfway through the count, Knight his her again, prompting her to restart the count. As the ref reaches past five, Sidney takes a seat with the kendo stick. Once Jessica is on her feet, Sidney grabs her and whips her into the ring post. The ref checks Jessica once more as Sidney paces herself ringside.
Ref: One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Nine-
[i/Rose uses the apron to pull herself up in time. Sidney rolls her eyes and pushes her into a chair. She runs to the opposite end and charges forward, delivering a front dropkick, sending Jessica flying out of the chair. Sidney swings the kendo stick once more, but Jess catches it and tries to pull it away. During the struggle, Jessica got to her feet and sent Sidney flying with a monkey flip while holding on to the stick. She cracks Sidney over the back with a kendo stick and goes for a second swing, but Sidney catches the stick and kicks Jess into the barricade. As Rose fights to get back to her feet, the ref continues the count.
Ref: One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Nine-
Melissa Flash: Rose is back on her feet and Sidney throws her into the apron! She’s not finished as she rolls her into the ring! She’s not finished as she brings more kendo sticks into the ring!
Kat Ricci: Sidney Knight wants to unleash holy hell, but Jessica rolls out of the ring towards the ramp! Diving Crossbody from the apron! Knight lands on top of Rose! Jessica’s definitely not getting away that easily! Jessica is down again!
Ref: One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six!
Melissa Flash: Sidney grabs a garbage can and chucks it in Jess’s direction! OOF! She caught her right in the side of the head!
Just before the ref could continue the count, Sidney grabs Jessica by the hair and drags her up the ramp. She picks Jessica up and pushes her towards the edge of the stage, where a pile of electrical equipment is situated. Rose is about to fall over the edge but keeps her balanced. Sid kicks at her, but Rose catches her foot. The two struggle for a moment, but Jessica pushes her foot away. She rolls under a spinning roundhouse and counters with a Crescent Rose (jumping cutter)! The impact knocks Knight off the edge of the stage and into the electric equipment below. Sparks fly from the impact as Sid is shocked several times! As medical staff checks on Sidney, Jessica falls to a knee, exhausted from her hail mary counter.
Ref: One! Two! Three! Four! Five! Six! Seven! Eight! Nine! Ten!
DING! DING! DING!
“Nowhere to Hide” by Crobot plays as Jessica Rose is helped up by the referee. She’s leaning against the ref’s shoulder with a satisfied smile on her face.
London Morris: Your winner by knockout...Jessica Rose!
Kat Ricci: She did it! Jessica Rose has earned her freedom! After several disappointing losses at the hands of Sidney Knight, she wins the one match that mattered the most!
Melissa Flash: She’s now free to pursue JET without any problems. Here’s to a new start for Jessica Rose!
The camera lingers on Rose for a bit as she stares down at an unconscious Sidney Knight and walks away.
London Morris: The following singles match is scheduled for one fall! First, making her way to the ring...
“I’m Too Sexy” by Right Said Fred plays as “Big Sexy” Santana walks out with Frankie beside her. There’s an expression of confidence on her face as she makes her way to the ring.
London Morris: From Los Angeles, CA! Weighing in at 260 lbs! “Big Sexy” Santana!
Melissa Flash: Santana looks pleased with herself ever since she separated from Jessica Hendrix.
Kat Ricci: She blames Jessica for costing them the tag belts. But they’re a team and teams are supposed to work together. One person can’t take the blame, both had to be held accountable.
Melissa Flash: Tell that to Santana.
Santana climbs into the ring and stretches her arms while Frankie stands ringside. "Neon" by Jeff Williams and Casey Lee Williams plays as Jessica Hendrix skips out to the stage, looking confident for her upcoming match.
London Morris: Her opponent! From Austin, TX! Weighing in at 112 lbs! Jessica! Hendrix!
Melissa Flash: You can’t avoid the fact that there’s a severe weight difference between them. Jessica will have to rely on her quickness, but even then does she have enough power to keep the big woman down?
Kat Rcci: We’ll have to see. This will be one of the toughest fights of her career.
Jessica climbs into the ring and faces off against Santana before the ring of the bell.[
DING! DING! DING!
From the moment the bell rang, Santana goes after Jessica, who ducks underneath and counters with a kick to the gut. She unleashes a series of punches that Santana takes with ease. The larger woman counters with an aggressive Irish whip and goes for a wild clothesline! Hendrix ducks underneath, rebounds, ducks a back fist, rebounds, but eats a shoulder block from her former partner. Jessica scrambles to the nearest corner, looking slightly stunned from her opponent’s unrelenting offense. Jessica picks herself up and circles the ring, as both women stare each other down. A lock-up is initiated and Jessica nimbly scores an arm wringer. Santana counters by whipping her to the ropes and slams into her with a running back elbow! She tosses Hendrix across the ring in a demonstration of tremendous strength. As Jessica scrambles to her feet, her opponent is already on her. “Big Sexy” whips her to the ropes and throws her over her shoulders with a back body drop. Hendrix lands on her feet but finds herself flying out of the ring from a hammer throw.
Kat Ricci: Dear God...the power of Santana! She’s tossing Jessica around like a ragdoll!
Melissa Flash: Hendrix looks so disheveled right now! She’s trying to find a way to get back into the ring, but Santana has her in her sights!
Kat Ricci: Frankie looks torn right now. Like you said earlier, we don’t know if she was fully on board with Santana’s actions. Wait! Hendrix sneaks in sliding under the ropes and Santana almost has her, but she just barely escaped her grasp!
Santana charged after Jessica who dodged, causing Santana to crash headfirst into the turnbuckle! Jessica hits a dropkick square in the chest and then leaps upon her opponent, unleashing a series of corner punches. Santana pushes her off and hits her chin with a European uppercut before Hendrix even hits the canvas! She goes for a pin, but Jessica pulls her down backward for the surprise roll-up! Santana kicks out, forcing Hendrix to jump to her feet. Santana’s already standing and she once again throws Jessica over the ropes! As Hendrix was prone ringside, Santana leaned over the ropes to check on her opponent. Jessica quickly jumped to her feet and gouged Santana’s eyes, forcing her to stumble back. Hendrix slid into the ring and leaps over her larger opponent for a sunset flip roll-up, but Santana didn't budge. She reaches for Jess who slides away and scrambles to her feet. Santana chases her to the ropes and tumbles to the outside as Hendrix pulls down the ropes at the last second!
Melissa Flash: Some quick thinking from Jessica Hendrix and Santana finds herself ringside! She’s gonna have to outsmart and outmaneuver Santana at every turn!
Kat Ricci: Jessica is climbing to the top with her back towards Santana...MOONSAULT TO THE OUTSIDE! She finally knocks the monolith off her feet! She’s raining down punches to the side of Santana’s head!
As the ref began the countout, both women struggled to get to their feet. There was a brief exchange of blows, to which Santana was getting the upper hand. Jessica ducks a wild swing, causing Santana to crash into the ring post. Jessica started kicking at the back of Santana’s leg, forcing Santana to fall to the floor. Jessica slides into the ring and waits for the ref to count while trying to recover from the punishment she took earlier. Eventually, Santana makes her way back into the ring and Jessica doesn’t hesitate to unleash her frustration upon her former partner who she felt threw everything away. As Hendrix attacked Santana, Frankie climbed up to the apron, begging for the ref to stop her. An annoyed Jessica demanded that she gets down, but Frankie refuses, Warning Jessica to not take things too far. Hendrix waves Frankie off and climbs to the middle rope where she hits a tornado DDT! She goes for a pin, but Santana kicks out at one! Hendrix easily becomes flustered and picks up a dazed Santana. Using every ounce of strength, she pushes her into the turnbuckle, making Santana’s face collide against the top turnbuckle. She follows this up with a nasty diving facebuster from the middle rope! She drapes over Santana for a second cover!
Ref: ONE!
TWO!
Melissa Flash: Santana kicks out again! Hendrix is throwing everything at her but it doesn’t seem enough1
Kat Ricci: Frankie is still at ringside, calling for Santana to get back to her feet! She seems less conflicted right now, but can you blame her? She’s Santana’s manager! The well being of her client comes first! Especially when that client is your best friend!
As Santana is bent over on one knee, Jessica hits several axe handle strikes across the back. She hits the ropes and delivers a low dropkick to the face! With Santana down, Jessica climbs to the top and delivers another mesmerizing moonsault! Once again, Santana kicks out at with authority! Jessica is sent several feet off the ground, from Santana’s raw power. Jessica tries to get up but is knocked down by a desperate clothesline from Santana, who falls to her knees from exhaustion. Santana gets up and lifts Hendrix over her shoulders who slips out from the back and pushes Santana into the corner! Santana bounces from the impact, sending her back to Jessica who hops on Santana’s back and applies a sleeper hold! Santana stumbles about, in an attempt to break free from her grasp. Jessica wraps her legs around her opponent, who tries to break free. As Santana falls to a knee, the ref checks on her to see if she gives up. Santana shows no signs of tapping out.
Messlica Flash: Santana looks like she’s fading, she might not get out of this! Santana throws her elbow back and Jessica lets go just in time! SUPERKICK! Santana eats that kick...but she’s still standing! Jessica’s in disbelief! A SECOND SUPERKICK! WHAT!? WHAT!? SANTANA IS DAZED, BUT SHE’S STILL ON HER FEET!
Kat Ricci: Even Frankie can’t believe it! Santana is swaying back and forth! Frankie is yelling at Santana to shake herself out of it! Jessica kicks Santana in the gut! FAMOUSER!!! Wait! Santana catches her! Powerslam! LANDING STRIP SENTON ON JESSICA’S BACK!
Melissa Flash: Santana’s dragging Hendrix to the corner. Santana’s climbing to the middle rope...SPLASHDOWN!
Ref: ONE!
TWO!
THREE!
DING! DING! DING!
"I’m Too Sexy" by Right Said Fred plays as Santana stands up with her arm raised by the ref.
London Morris: Your winner by pinfall...Santana!
Melissa Flash: David could not overcome Goliath! Jessica Hendrix gave everything she had, but the raw power of Big Sexy was too much!
Kat Ricci: Hendrix has nothing to be ashamed of! She did what she could to out maneuver her former partner, but unfortunately it’s Santana’s night!
Santana looks down at Jessica for a moment. There is a mixture of pleasure and respect in her eyes as she’s satisfied with her victory, but admired Jessica’s tenacity. She rolls out of the ring where she is greeted by Frankie. Santana looks back one more time before walking up the ramp.
London: Ladies and Gentlemen, we have a change in tonight's next match. The following contest is now scheduled as a normal tag team match for one fall and it is for the Lethal Angels of Wrestling World Tag Team championships!!
Kat: Now this is a match that I have been waiting for because it’s perhaps a true clash of styles, Melissa. As Rave Inc, Kiki and Cassidy, have to put their newly won tag team titles and high flying skills to the test against the winners of the Finish Line tournament in the form of Io Ishimori and Celes Dumont, two of the most dominant physical fighters in LAW’s recent history.
Melissa: That is very true, Kat. The team of Dumont and Ishimori may have seemed like an incredible long run, their mutual history in another promotion as a prime example of that, but the fact that Celes chose Io to be her partner for the tournament was a sheer stroke of genius in the long run.
Kat: Especially since they kind of...I don’t know if this is the right word for it but “feed” off of each other, almost like they have a hive mind when it comes to tactics and how they work together in the ring and that’s going to be something that Kiki and Cassidy are going to have a hard time fighting against.
Melissa: True but I also think that our champions might have a solid chance at winning the match though, so don’t entirely sell them out.
(Suddenly the lights in the arena a low strobing set of colors as the opening beats of Slipknot's "Killpop" begins to play as the crowds explode in cheers)
<She's sticking needles in her skin>
<I turn with an ugly grin>
<Her canvas doesn't leave a lot to fantasy>
London: Introducing first, they weigh in at a total combined weight of two hundred and fifty three pounds, they are your current reigning and defending Lethal Angels of Wrestling tag team champions...
<But her peace of mind>
<Can't stay inside the lines>
<It's so confusing>
<The methods that she's using>
<She knows she shouldn't leave a mark that I can see>
(At that moment the crowds explode just a little bit louder as both Cassidy Vega and Kiki Kumiko come strutting out with the LAW tag team titles strapped firmly around their waists-with Cassidy's long blonde hair dyed partially a bright lime green while Kiki is dressed up in her usual Cyber-Rave attire as the two head for the ring, high fiving fans as they go)
London: They are the team of the "Sky High Kid" Cassidy Vega and the "Dystopia Princess" Kiki Kumiko....they are RAVE INCORPORATED!!!
(Rave Inc finally get to the ring and pose for a few seconds before Kiki swings herself up and over the top rope while Cassidy quickly slides under the bottom ropes, yanking her title from around her slender waist as she goes and hoists it up into the air, almost challengingly, as the crowds cheer on their champions)
Melissa: The champions showing why they are the fan favorites here tonight, Kat.
Kat: Very true Melissa, and they certainly seem confident in themselves but we have to keep in mind that Celes and Io have had their number on a few occasions since Rave Inc won the belts.
{Cue up: "Death Dealer" by Enigma TNG}
(The cheering in the arena stops as a strange, rythmic beat starts playing throughout the arena as the strobe lights soon become a solid purple as the fan's solid wall of cheers because a powerful mixture of cheers and boos as the video wall starts to show a video that combines all of the highs of the next team to enter)
London: And introducing next, they are the challengers and weigh in tonight at a total combined weight of two hundred and sixty nine pounds..
(As "Death Dealer" by Enigma TNG continues, two figures step out onto the entrance way, the both of them dressed in their usual ring gear as they take in their opponents in the ring for a moment before they start their stride down to the ring)
London: They are the winners of the twenty nineteen Finish Line tournament and are the two darkest souls in the entirety of Lethal Angels of Wrestling...they are guided to the ring by the GREAT AND POWERFUL Yoshi-San!!!
(The two women make it to the ringside area and while the taller Celes stands there and gives a baleful glare at Cassidy Vega who is on the top turnbuckle, holding up her half of the tag team titles, Io walks over to the commentary table and sets Yoshi-san up before she removes her face mask)
London: They are the team of the "Ice Goddess" Io Ishimori and the "Lady Gojira" herself, Celes Dumont!!!
(Celes shrugs out of her ring jacket as Io does the same before the two women share a momentary glance at each other before they quickly slide into the ring and charge right at Rave Inc as the ref calls for the bell)
*DING DING*!!!
(The bell rings and Deanna has got Kiki in the ring against Io and both of the more technical end of their respective teams are each exchanging blows in the middle of the ring with both women showing that they are equals in terms of kicking attacks but this is soon overshadowed by Io’s more ruthless drive as she follows it up much more quickly, driving Kiki back into the nearest turnbuckle as she tries to protect herself as Io simply lays on the strikes until finally Deanna is able to get the “Ice Queen” back who lets out a howling peel of laughter before she holds up her hands and backs up)
Melissa: Io showing that her time training with Aaron Arkham and Arata Asakura of the Shadow Empire has not been in vain these past few months.
Kat: Agreed but I’m still curious to see what Kiki will come back with.
[i(Just as Deanna goes to check on Kiki, Kiki in turn quickly hops onto the near-by ropes and hits a springboard clothesline that takes Io off of her feet but Kiki rolls through with the motion before hitting a standing moonsault that drives her knees hard into the mid-section of Io before she quickly goes for the pin)
1...2…
(Io quickly shoves Kiki off of her and then scrambles to her feet but Kiki quickly does the same and quickly meets her with a hard slap across the face before doing the “no no” motion with the same hand and then she again slaps Io hard across the face, but the “Queen of Goths” simply smiles at her and then dares her to do it again which Kiki is more than willing to do but Io quickly snatches the hand and quickly snaps two of Kiki’s fingers which causes her a lot of pain but as she turns around, Io quickly gets to her feet as she just as quickly locks in a trapping Saito suplex that drives Kiki’s head to the mat before she drops down for the pin)
1….2….
(Kiki kicks out but as Io tries to get to her feet, Kiki quickly attempts for a roll up into a school boy but Io reverses that so that she hits a raising superkick right into the jaw of Kiki, driving her back to the mat as she goes for another pinfall attempt but Kiki uses her ring awareness to quickly reach out and grab the bottom ropes which causes Deanna to make Io break the pin which the young Japanese woman does, all the while snarling in outrage as she goes over to where her partner is and tags her in)
Kat: A tremendous array of moves by both women, even though we are currently in the feeling out stage of the match we’ve already seen two incredibly quick pinfall attempts to try and end this match early.
Melissa: However I think that things are about ready to pick up drastically because as we just saw, Io has tagged in the more experienced Celes Dumont and it is a true fact that out of all four young women in this match, Celes has the most in ring experience.
Kat: Yes, maybe by a year or two I’ll give you that, Melissa, but that doesn’t mark her as a true danger in this match.
Melissa: True but then again this is the woman who in a match against April Song for the specialist championship was only beaten by the fact of the amount of blood that she had lost!
(Celes slowly gets into the ring, her dark eyes never leaving Kiki as she gets to her feet and then the two women start to slowly circle themselves before locking up in the middle of the ring in a classic collar and elbow tie up before Celes practically shoves Kiki back against the ropes which causes her to spring forward and right into a push kick from the stronger woman who then quickly hauls up Kiki and simply shoots her into Rave Inc’s corner without a second thought which point Kiki crumples to her knees as Cassidy looks on with concern)
Cassidy: (w/o mic) KIKI!!
Celes: (w/o mic) VEGA!!
(At the sound of her last name, Cassidy’s attention is quickly drawn towards the “Death Dealer” who is making a “come here” motion)
Celes: (w/o mic) GET OVER HERE!!
(Cassidy looks over at her partner and then back to Celes before she nods firmly, tagging Kiki’s left shoulder and slipping into the ring with a look of red hot anger slowly being shot at the lithe powerhouse who is simply looking bored which causes Cassidy to charge at Celes at which point she tries for a running single leg drop kick, but Celes takes her time and she quickly steps out of the way of it before grabbing Cassidy up off of the ground and then hitting a ripchord into….)
Kat: Oh my *GOD*! Cassidy Vega just got floored by that wrist-lock into a bitch slap!!
Melissa: Not one of Celes’ more common signature moves but the Fatality does get the point across to some of her opponents.
Kat: Especially here in this match as Celes is slowly hauling Cassidy up again and then hits the Fatality for a second time, I’m thinking that I might have seen a small spatter of blood go flying from Cassidy’s lip, Melissa.
Melissa: I think that Celes is trying to make a point here, Kat. As she feels that Rave Inc were allowed to jump over her and Io for a tag title match for “reasons” and Celes is attempting to show Cassidy that she’s just not on Celes’ or Io’s level.
Kat: Never mind the fact that Rave Inc has been here much longer and have had to fight for every chance that they had at the titles that they currently hold!?
(Cassidy reaches up and checks her lower lip for damage as Celes moves into try and take advantage of her distraction but instead Cassidy quickly uses it to hers as she rolls up the taller woman into a prawn hold attempt but Celes uses her superior strength to force the hold into a reversal as the ref goes to count)
1….2….!!!
[i(Cassidy is saved from the pinning hold by a top rope diving leg drop from Kiki as Celes rolls over in pain while clutching at her abdomen but before Kiki can check on her own partner, Io comes flying across the ring with a slingshot spear that quickly takes Kiki down and out of the ring to the outside as Cassidy gets back up to her feet and quickly goes over to where Celes is and locks in the “Vega Lock” and she quickly wrenches that kneeling Fujiawara armbar as much as she can in attempt to force Celes into a submission hold but instead Celes shakes her head and rears back with a punishing headbutt followed by a second one which in turn only causes Cassidy to spit in Celes’ face before she leans back as far as she can while trying to for all intents and purposes, dislocate Celes’ right arm from it’s shoulder assembly but before Celes can even think to tap, Io is right there with a stiff forearm shot to the back of Cassidy’s head which causes her to break the hold)
Melissa: That was an incredibly smart thing for Cassidy to do which was try and take out one of Celes’ arms, Kat. Everybody knows that most of Celes’ impressive striking power is in those arms of hers and taking at least one of her arms out would’ve been a major upset in any plans for Rave Inc’s challengers here tonight!
(Deanna gets Io back to her corner followed close at hand by Celes who tags in her partner who then gleefully charges back, catching a raising Cassidy with a Shining Wizard that she then rolls up into a pin attempt)
1…..2…..
(Cassidy barely kicks out and then she attempts to get over to her side of the ring but Io manages to catch one of Cassidy’s legs and starts to jerk her around by the leg, but a last ditch reverse roundhouse kick from Cassidy staggers Io long enough to make her let go and Cassidy dives for the hot tag to Kiki who comes back into the match like a house on fire, hitting a springboard rana onto Io that tosses her hard into the mat before she gets up and hits her “Kiki Boots” Scissors Kick onto Io as she kips back up to her feet at which point Kiki calls for the “Slam Dance” facebuster, Io attempts to roll out of the ring but she is stopped by Kiki who drags her back into the ring and then hauls her up into a Gory Special position and looks over at Celes with a confident smirk on her face as she goes to transition the move into a facebuster but Io squirms around and then manages to hit the “Black Lotus” Somerault Reverse DDT onto Kiki that drives her hard down to the mat before Io hits a superkick hard into the face of Cassidy, knocking her down from the ring apron at which point Io quickly motions for Celes to get into the ring and once she does, Io shoots Kiki to her before making a thumb cutting motion to which Celes nods and then sets up Kiki into a piledriver position)
Kat: Right when it looks like Rave Inc might be able to get something strong going, Io and Celes are able to get it turned around on them!!
Melissa: And it looks like we’re about to see that unnamed tag finisher that has won Celes and Io every match of their teaming thus far!
(Once Celes has Kiki up into position, Io quickly hits the nearest turnbuckles and does a double jump moonsault before spiking the Tombstone piledriver of Celes’ at which point Celes moves to block any attempt by Cassidy to get involved in the match as Io scrambles for the pin)
1…..2…..3!!!!
*DING DING*!!!
London: the winners of your match….AND *NEW* LETHAL ANGELS OF WRESTLING WORLD TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS, THE TEAM OF IO ISHIMORI AND CELES DUMONT!!!!
(As the Nightcore version of “Confident” by Demi Lovato begins to play, the music is matched in volume by the cheers and boos of the crowds as Io starts to slam both of her fists hard onto the mat as Deanna moves over and hands Io and then a disbelieving Celes their respective halves of the tag team titles as Kiki rolls out of the ring)
Kat: And just like that, we have new LAW tag team champions and this is a momentous moment in both careers of Io and Celes as these are not only their first title as a team but also their first title in their respective CAREERS!!!
Melissa: Quite the accomplishment for two women that a lot of industry insiders were decreeing would not win these very titles because of their hard fought and bloody history, and where are these nay sayers now that they are holding those self same titles?!
(Celes has a look of complete and utter disbelief on her face still as she holds her half of the tag team titles while Io celebrates with her half but when she goes to check on Celes, the younger of the Dumont siblings has rolled to the outside of the ring, picked Yoshi-San up off of the desk, and then carefully carries the small stuffed animal back into the ring where Celes respectfully presents Io with her mentor which Io accepts with a respectful nod from the “Queen of Goths” to “Lady Gojira” as the two dark maidens continue their celebration with their mentor)
Ladies and Gentleman, now is time for the LAW Lethal Specialist Championship. Due to the situation with Covid-19, Kylie Monroe being stuck home is Scotland, The Champion agreed to break international traveling laws and decided to defend her championship on Kylie’s turf, believing that the best way to make this a real “Scottish” Death Match.
Hard to believe Revy really wanted this, but after weeks and weeks of Kylie getting the best out of her, maybe this isn’t that crazy. But apparently, they put up this high quality production of a match that no one has seen. And you know what is the craziest thing about it? I heard they got Gordon Ramsay to narrate this.
What?! The chef, Gordon Ramsay? I thought he was British?
Nope, Scottish, anyway, I have no idea what to expect, so let’s get to it! Roll the tapes!
(The Scene starts off with various landscape shots of Scotland while the sounds of Bagpipes play in the background, various clips and photos of Revy and Kylie Monroe are clipped into the videos, before a title card appears, “LAW is proud to present a “Get in the Seas” production, “THE GREATEST SCOTTISH DEATH MATCH OF ALL TIME!” narrated by Gordon Ramsay”
Hi there. I am Chef Gordan Ramsay, and I am here to narrate this match. Why the fuck would I be doing this? We will not be getting into these details.
Kylie Monroe is standing at the edge of a cliff of the highlands facing towards the ocean. She is sporting a traditional kilt and sporran, a black leather and fur long jacket draped over her shoulders. She takes the knee and rubs her finger in the mud and applies two lines on her face as she prepares for war. The wind blowing towards the north. Kylie looks around, showing a full view of her motherland and fields. Sheeps roaming the fields, a true sense of peace, but uneasy, a calm before the storm.
From the distance, a golf cart with a referee pulls up and not too far behind, the Lethal Specialist Champion, Revy rides in on a “unicorn.” Revy, also sporting the traditional kilt and Sporran and high knee socks, and a beret on her head. War Paint, already applied as Revy rides to the field with the title raised into the air. Kylie picks up a Highland Targe, a broad round shield and makes her way towards the Champion.
Revy leaps off the unicorn and the ref follows. Revy and Kylie Monroe comes face to face. The official takes the Lethal Specialist Championship and raises it in the air.
Ref: This match is set fur yin fall, 'n' is a falls count anywhere! thare ur na disqualifications. Ye kin ainlie win via pinfall or submission 'n' it's fur th' Lethal Specialist Championship. Is this understaun?
Revy and Kylie not in union, and from the distance, a bell rings. Kylie charges, but Revy throws her hands up, asking Kylie to stop. Kylie hesitates, but Revy begs for a moment. Kylie agrees, and Revy makes way towards the golf cart, and carries over a big barrel. Revy drops it in front of Kylie, and with a crow bar, proceeds to pry it open. In the barrel, gallons and gallons of Scottish Ale. Revy with two mugs, fills them, and hands one to Kylie. Monroe grabs it, but hesitates to drink it.
Revy: Dinnae be a fud. Dram up
Revy proceeds to drink from her glasses, seeing that Revy is also drinking, Kylie drinks as well. Both finish their pint and let out a sigh of satisfaction. It only just seems right to get a little drunk before a Scottish Death Fight. Kylie asks if they can start fighting yet, but Revy shakes her head no. Revy runs back to the golf cart, and proceeds to bring up a bag pipe. Kylie shakes her head, and tells her, no.
Revy: C'moan, a've bin practicing tae speil th' bagpipes a' week!
Kylie rolls her eyes, but allows it, as Revy gets excited and proceeds to play the bagpipes. “Celebration” by Kool and the Gang, while you can tell it’s that song, is off tune. Kylie holding on to her ears, almost as if the sounds are assaulting her senses. Revy stops…
Revy: Wait. wait. Give me a wee moment.
Revy prepares to blow into the bag pipe, only for there to be a click sound, Kylie, confused, noticing Revy is turning the pipes towards her direction, Revy lets out a huge grin as a small flame is lit up at the tip. Revy begins to blow with all her might, flames starts flying towards Kylie. Revy created a make-shift flame thrower from a bag pipe and Monroe is on fire! What deception! Kylie Monroe is rolling on the ground, but Revy proceeds to kick the barrel of alcohol and spilling it all over the challenger. The flames burst as the fire engulfs Monroe, who has no choice but to complete disrobe her fur leather coat and tosses them to the side.
Revy approaches with her bag pipes and fires another round of flames, but Kylie backs away with her shield in hand. The flames hitting the shield, forcing Monroe to continue backing away as Revy continues to move closer and closer. Monroe backs into a giant boulder, as Revy continues to blow the bag pipes, unleashing balls of fires, battering Kylie’s shield. But Kylies places her foot against the rock, and pushes herself against the torrent of flames, ramming into the champion!
Kylie knocking Revy to the ground, both women proceed to get up. Revy swings her bag pipe with a overhead clubbing blow, but Kylie blocks with her shield. Revy continues to bash and bash, before swinging to the side, knocking the shield out of Monroe’s hand. Revy swings once more, but Kylie rolls out of the way, and a sweep kick. Revy falls on her arse and Kylie quickly mounts her. Monroe unloading punches as Revy puts her arms up to block, but Kylie manages to get a couple of blows.
Revy pulls Kylie to the side, and both start to slide down the slope, tumbling downwards, separating on the way. Revy and Kylie get back to their feet. Kylie charges with a spear take down, carrying her, sending her back first against a mound. Revy kicks her off, and tries to distance herself from Kylie. But Monroe is hot on her trail. Revy making her way back up the hill, she reaches the cart and pulls up a golf club. Kylie taking pre-caution, but approaches regardless. Revy with an obnoxious swing, but Kylie ducks, manages to grab the shaft of the club, and knocks Revy down a big right hand.
Revy goes down like a sack of potatoes, Monroe with the club in hand.
Monroe: FOOOOORE!!
And nails the champ right in the ribcage. Revy rolling, clutching to her ribs which might had just been fractured. The official checking on Revy, but she pushes them away and crawls towards the cart once more. She reaches for the bag, but Kylie from behind, pressing the club against her throat, choking her. Kylie pulling Revy away from the cart as Revy gasps for air, the steel rod crushing her windpipe. But Revy claws at the eyes of Monroe, Kylie loosens her grip, and Revy manages to pull her over her shoulder and flips her on her back. Revy grabs Kylie by the arm, boot pressed against her skull, pulls her up, and a foot stomp into the ground.
Kylie’s head, bouncing off the dirt, and now Revy makes her way to the cart onces more, she grabs the bags of clubs, Monroe staggering to get back to her feet, and REVY YEETS THE BAG AT THE CHALLENGER!! And the Blunt object knocks Kylie back down. Revy busting open the back of the trunk of the golf cart now, and it’s, it’s… a Net? A big net! Revy laying out the net on the ground, Kylie, dazed and possibly still trying to shake it off, is rolled onto the net. Revy wraps her up, and is tying it into golf cart. She can’t?! She won’t! SHE IS!
Monroe:Whit th' bugger, boot!?
Kylie realizing what Revy is trying to do, she struggles to break free from the Net. Revy skipping her way to the driver seats now, and signals for the ref to get on. Revy turns on the ignition, and she starts to drive off! Dragging Kylie from behind and across the grassy field! Kylie trying to protect herself as much as possible, but Revy is driving donuts across the field, laughing maniacally before she starts to drive north. Where is she taking this match now?! Poor Kylie is still being dragged.
(Transitions to a Sideswipe effect to a new shot of the exterior of a barn. Now we are inside the interior of a barn, where Kylie is hanging by her arms, all scrapped, bloody, and bruised. Kylie starts to become conscious and wakes up to see Revy drinking.)
Revy: Aye Alive?
Kylie: How come didnae ye finish this?
Revy: Fur ye'r aye alive? duh. Isnae that howfur a scots death match wirks?
Ref: Actually, ye dinnae hae tae murdurr yer opponent tae win
Revy: Huh?
Kylie: You idiot, you don’t actually have to kill your opponent to win a Death Match. It’s by pinfall or submission.
Revy: Nani?! Then why is it called a….
Kylie: He said it right in the beginning of the match.
Revy: Ain't nobody ken th' wurds comin' oot o' his geggy! This rammy haes bin gaun oan fur 2 hours awready!
Kylie: I WAS UNCONSCIOUS FOR 2 HOURS?!!
Revy picking up a big stick and proceed to swing it at Kylie, but Kylie manages to raise a boot, kicking Revy in the face. Revy charges, again, but Kylie using the momentum from the boot earlier to swing into double boot, sending Revy flying. Monroe tries to break free from the ropes. Kylie, trying desperately to free her hands from the knot, almost getting one hand free, the blood from her hands, lubricating the rope. Kylie continues to squirm, and manages to slip out, BUT REVY WITH A SPEAR, PUSHING KYLIE ACROSS THE ROOM, DRIVING BOTH WOMEN THROUGH THE WALL.
The fight continues to the outside now, Kylie and Revy, coming to, surrounded by a flock of sheeps. Kylie crawling away, hiding among the sheeps. Revy looking around, no sights of Kylie. However, she notices blood, sticking to the surprisingly calm sheeps. Revy looks around, and finds the electric shears with a huge smile on her face. She turns on the machine, creating a loud buzz.
Revy: Oye, Kylie! Come oot 'n' speeeeeeeeil!
Revy begins to follow the trail of blood on the wools. As Revy continues to navigate around the field of sheeps. One of the sheep gets spooked from the other side. Revy turns around, and turns towards that bolstering sheep, Revy pushes the flock to the side, but Kylie is nowhere to be seen.
Kylie: Revy!!
Revy turns around, but Kylie still isn’t there. She frantically looks everywhere, before looking up. ON TOP OF THE BARN! KYLIE MONROE HAS LEPT FROM THE ROOF AND NAILS THE FLYING CROSS BODY ON REVY! AN 18FT DROP AND THE SHEEPS SCATTER UPON IMPACT! Both women get back up to their feet, but Kylie manages to grab Revy from behind!... THE SCOT DROP!! THE X PLEX! DROPPING REVY ON THE BACK OF HER NECK! Kylie goes for the pin! Legs hooked!
The ref struggling to get through the sheeps in a frenzy. Kylie telling him to hurry up, and he finallys makes it through and makes the count! Yin…..twa….th….
KICKOUT BY THE CHAMP! Kylie pounding the ground in frustration. She was so close! Revy slowing coming to as she attempts to get back to her feet. Revy, swaying and teetering. Monroe measures her up, Revy turns around and goes for the Running Enziguri… THE BLOOD SHOT!!.... BUT REVY DUCKS! Kylie pushes herself back up, but Revy with a kick to the gut!!... RECOIL!! THE STUNNER CONNECTS AND KYLIE IS OUT!!
Revy struggling to make the cover. I don’t even think she knows where the hell she is. Acting on reflexes alone, she finally sees Monroe and falls on top of her, arms covering, her shoulders down!
YIN…..TWA….. THRE…
KICKOUT BY THE CHALLENGER!! KYLIE MONROE IS STILL IN THIS! BLOODY HELL! Revy sits up in complete disbelief. I mean, between being lit on fire, being dragged on the ground with by a golf cart, and that stunner, Kylie is still in this match!
Revy making her way back to the barn now. What other tricks can she still have in mind here? Kylie, pushing herself from the ground once more. Suddenly, the sounds of an engine can be heard approaching…. REVY EMERGES FROM THE OPENING WITH A TRACTOR?!! A MOTHER FUCKIN’ TRACTOR, AND KYLIE BEGINS TO RUN AWAY!
Kylie: I JUST TOLD YOU THIS ISN’T THAT KIND OF DEATH MATCH, YOU STUPID BITCH!!
Revy: Thare is a foremaist time fur everything!
Kylie leaps over the fence, but alas, Revy simply plows through it as she continues to chase Monroe. Revy with a drink in one hand and the wheels in the other with blood lust in her eyes. Kylie, trying to navigate across the land, but the tractor overpowers everything. How long can Kylie keep this up? What kind of Cardio is she doing?
Monroe runs back into the barn for shelter, Revy, with a grin on her face, knowing that she has her opponent cornered. Revy takes one last drink before tossing the bottle to the side. She shifts the gears and proceeds to stream roll through the front gate. Once through the doors, Kylie Monroe takes her final stand…. WITH A DAMN CLAYMORE SWORD IN HER HAND?! WHO THE FUCK HAS A CLAYMORE SWORD LAYING AROUND IN A BARN! LOOK AT THE SIDE OF THAT THING?! WHAT KIND OF WORK OUT IS KYLIE MONROE DOING?! JESUS!
Revy, unphased by this continues to drive forward, Kylie with the sword in hand with a huge thrust.
Kylie: THERE CAN BE ONLY ONNNNNNNNNE!!!
Kylie, thrusting the sword into the front engine, skewering it in the process! Smoke begins to come out of the tractor as Revy is surprised that a claymore sword was able to pierce such a machine. Suddenly, the engine starts to catch fire, before Revy starts to panic. Kylie is already out of the front door, hightailing it, again, what is her cardio regime?!
(Camera pans from the outside, Kylie leaps out of the front gate…. BOOM!! THE BARN SPLODES AND IGNITES ON FIRE!! Scraps of burning wood, flying through the air as live stock flee the area.)
Holy shit! Kylie might had actually killed Revy there! Like, What the hell? Really? Did that just happen? Kylie looks back at the barn, breathing hard. The sounds of fire crackling is followed by the sounds of rain drops hitting metal. Monroe can’t believe her eyes… from the flames, Revy limps from the barn, just as battered, burnt, and bruised as her. Kylie approaches her before both women meet face to face. The rain, washing the dirt and blood off of them.
Kylie: What… the fuck?
Revy with big grin on her face, who throws the first punch. Kylie braces for the impact, only to feel a slight tap on her jaw. Revy with no strength lefts collapses before her and falls to the ground. Kylie turns her over, and places her foot on Revy’s shoulders. The official makes the count!
YIN!!
TWE!!.....
THREE!!
DING DING DING!!
Ref: Th' pure winner o' th' match 'n' freish lethal specialist champion….. KYLIE MONROE!!
An official steps in and hands Kylie the LAW Specialist Championship, who clutches it with both her hands, she looks at it intimately before raising it in the air over the fallen Revy. Kylie lets out a roar as the rain begins to calm down before panning out to a distance shot of Kylie Monroe in the field of Scotland. This is Gordon Ramsay, signing off.
(Title Card : “Fin”)
(Camera return to the Lethal Heart Commentary team, whose jaws are wide open at what they just witnessed)
Kat Ricci: What the hell? I have so many questions?! Like… was that technically the longest match in OWA history?! Why were they talking in Scottish?! Whose barn was that?! How did they get Gordan Ramsay involved?!! Did she really not understand the rules of this match? Did she really survive an explosion?! WHERE DID THE CLAYMORE SWORD COME FROM?!!
Melissa Flash: Look, the only thing that matters is….. Kylie Monroe is our new Lethal Specialist Champion.I gotta say, wow. She survived hell there, in what I can honestly say, was in fact… the greatest Scottish Death Match of all time. Revy, you had a hell of a run, we’ll pour drinks for it, and pour even more for the new reign that is Kylie Monroe. What a show?!
London Morris: The following is a IJWF World Championship Match scheduled for one fall! First, the challenger…
“Lydia” by Highly Suspect plays as Nina Sanada walks out in her signature long white coat. She readies herself on stage before making her way towards the ring.
London Morris: From Mexico City, Mexico! Weighing in at 143 lbs! She is “The Queen of Lucharesu!” Nina Sanada!
Melissa Flash: Nina Sanada is one of the greatest women’s champions of our generation. Her family has ushered in a style used by super juniors all across the world!
Kat Ricci: Gran Sanada was the first Japanese worker to adopt the modern high flying lucha libre style. He fused it with Japanese strong style and fused it as a hybrid style which became the building block for promotions such as JET!
Melissa Flash: Kayla Winters won’t just be fighting an opponent, but an entire legacy.
Nina Sanada flips into the ring and throws off her jacket. She stretched in the corner, “Money” by Pink Floyd started to play. Kayla Winters walked out with the title around her waist. Behind her was her bodyguard who followed closely as the champion made her way down the ramp.
London Morris: Her opponent! From Malibu, CA! Weighing in at 160 lbs...she is the IJWF World Champion...KAYLA! WINTERS!
Melissa Flash: Kayla ‘s real test as a champion begins now. Nina Sanada is not one to pull punches.
Kat Ricci: Kayla has already demonstrated herself as a confident champion. She just need to establish her legacy with this belt like she’s done with the Lethal Angel Championship.
Kayla climbs into the ring and faces off with Nina for a moment before the ref takes her championship and rings the bell.
DING! DING! DING!
With the match underway, Kayla keeps her distance from Nina who’s standing in the center of the ring. Nina gestures for her to come forward, but Kayla opts for leaning against the ropes. Nina remains patient as Kayla whispers something to her bodyguard Grace. They lock-up in the center of the ring, and there’s a back and forth transition of holds. Kayla scores a waistlock takedown and transitions to a grounded side headlock. The champ slaps Nina upside the head and backs away laughing. Sanada slowly gets to her feet, glaring daggers at Winters. The two lock-up once more with Nina securing a waistlock. Kayla attempts a standing switch, but Nina counters with a wrist lock sidekick. Kayla falls to the mat and rolls out of the ring. Kayla takes a moment to talk with Grace while Nina waits in the center with her hands on her hips. Kayla takes a moment to see when she can slide back into the ring and does so. She ducks under a running clothesline, rebounds, goes under Sanada’s leapfrog, and hits a leaping shoulder block on the way back.
Melissa Flash: Kayla putting a stop to Nina’s momentum with brute force!
Kat Ricci: She scouted Nina’s movements well, now she just needs to capitalize.
Kayla applies a Lotus Lock that takes a lot for Nina to break out of! She frees herself and now both women are standing, exchanging strikes. Kayla gets the best of her and chains her strikes into a delaying vertical suplex. Kayla attempts an ankle lock, but Nina rolls through and counters with a high-angle belly suplex! She picks up Kayla and lands a brutal headbutt to the head! Winters staggers back and returns the favor with one of her own. Nina goes for a kick, but Kayla counters it into a dragon screw leg whip! While Sanada is holding her leg, Nina pulls her in and places her in a Fireman’s Carry position, slamming her into the mat with a huge thud! Kayla makes a cover, but Nina kicks out at two. Winters wastes no time wearing down on her opponent. She attempts another Fireman’s Carry, but Nina counters with a jumping DDT! She attempts a pin of her own, but Kayla kicks out at two herself. Nina picks her up by the hair and tosses her out of the ring!
Melissa Flash: Nina is on the hunt! Kayla has to gather her bearings!
Kat Ricci: Wait! Kayla’s bodyguard is standing between the two! The ref is giving her a warning, but it’s enough for Kayla to slide back into the ring!
Nina follows suit to which Winters takes advantage of with several stomps to the head. She whips Sanada to the ropes , who counters a tilt-a-whirl backbreaker attempt into a hurricanrana! Sanada hits the ropes and lands a front dropkick to the chest! Nina grabs Kayla into a Mexican Surfboard and stretches her to her limits. The ref asks the champ if she gives up, but she shakes her head. Nina tries to maintain the hold, but she let go to maintain her strength. She grabs Kayla’s leg and delivers several strikes to the side of the leg and transitions into an Indian Deathlock. Kayla kicks Nina away and in an act of desperation, lands a dropkick to the chest. After creating some separation between her and her opponent, Nina crawled towards the nearest corner and got to her feet. She waited for Nina to get up and landed a running crossbody, but Nina caught her and rolled backwards. To the surprise of commentators, Nina stood up with the champ on her shoulders and dropped a nasty Nippon Driver (Samoan Driver)! She follows up with a pin!
Ref: One…
Two-
Melissa Flash: Kayla kicks out in time! That was a nasty counter from the challenger!
Kat Ricci: The advantage of experience is beginning to show as Nina takes back control over this match!
Nina attempts her finishing submission La Ninkita (Wrist-lock with neck scissors) but Kayla thinks fast and counters it into a body scissors! Nina tries to break free, but Kayla keeps a firm grip. Nina uses her elbow to try and break free. After several attempts, Kayla is forced to break the hold and rolls backward. Nina kips up in time and catches her with a swift enzuigiri! A stunned Kayla falls against the ropes to which Sanada follows up with a rope-assisted spike DDT! Nina makes another cover, but Kayla kicks out. A frustrated Sanada picks her up by the hair and whips her to the corner. She delivers a couple of knife edge chops to the chest before lifting her to the top turnbuckle to setup the Iconoclasm. Without the ref noticing, Kayla’s bodyguard grabs Nina’s goot, delaying the maneuver. While Nina struggles to get free, Kayla kicks her away and lands a diving dropkick to the back of the head! Kayla picks her up, whips her to the ropes and catches her on the rebound with a flapjack! Winters flashes a grin over to her bodyguard who nods in approval. She stomps on Nina’s legs several times before applying a sharpshooter in the center of the ring!
Melissa Flash: Sharpshooter! The champion has the challenger dead to rights!
Kat Ricci: Nina’s trying to break free, she’;s trying to crawl to the ropes, but Kayla keeps dragging her back!
Melissa Flash: Kayla has the power to do so, but each time she drags her, she starts to loos her grip! Nina slips out and scrambles to the ropes! Winters is stopped by the ref who orders her to back off for the time being!
Nina uses the opportunity to pull herself up with the ropes. Kayla rushes at her, but Nina counters with a back body drop. Nina lands on the apron and flings herself forward with a slingshot shoulder block! She picks up Nina and pushes her against the ropes, delivering several knees to the gut. She continued with several hammer fists to the back. A stiff European uppercut nearly knocked Nina off her feet, and before she could react, Kayla brought her down head-first with a Fireman’s Carry Gutbuster! As Nina rolled along the mat, Kayla got into position in the opposite corner. After stomping her foot several times, she raced forward for a Special K (Spear)! Nina leapfrogged over her just in time, but Kayla used her foot to bounce off the middle corner turnbuckle and redirected right back into Nina’s direction!
Melissa Flash: SPECIAL K! SPECIAL K! KAYLA HAS BOTH LEGS!
Ref: One…

Three!
DING! DING! DING!
“Money” plays as Kayla rolls off of Nina Sanada, feeling victorious!
London Morris: Your winner by pinfall and still your IJWF World Champion...Kayla Winters!
Kat Ricci: Despite some assistance from the outside, Kayla Winters secure her first title win!
Melissa Flash: Winters caught her opponent off guard by redirecting the spear, a smart move on her part! I think she’s just shown the world why she’s going to be holding that championship for quite some time!
Kayla Winters is seen celebrating in the ring with the IJWF Championship as Nina rolls out to ringside, looking hurt as she holds her midsection.
London Morris: The following match is scheduled for one fall! First, making her way to the ring…
“Message to God” by Royal Hunt plays as April Song walks out. She poses on stage briefly before walking down the ramp.
London Morris: From Colorado Springs, CO! Weighing in at 120 lbs! “The Brave Falcon” April Song!
Melissa Flash: April made the challenge and it’s been accepted! She now finds herself face to face with a legend on her way out.
Kat Ricci: April wants to be the one to send Tarah on her way. If she’s able to do that and not her rival Stephanie Matsuda, then she feels it's a double win for her.
April climbs into the ring and raises a fist in the air. As her theme fades, “Boss’ Daughter” by Pop Evil plays as Tarah Nova walks out. She grins at April standing in the ring and makes her way down the ramp.
London Morris: From Detroit, MI! Weighing in at 118 lbs! Tarah! Nova!
Melissa Flash: Tarah Nova looks ready to go. This is one of the last few matches of her career and you can bet your bottom dollar that she’s going to make sure she goes out in a blaze of glory.
Kat Ricci: It’s the ultimate test for April Song as she gets a chance at immortality.
Tarah climbs into the ring and stands before April, ready to fight.
(DING DING DING!!!)
The two women stand face to face in the center of the ring for a moment, exchanging a few words before shaking hands and moving to their separate corners. April looks surprisingly hesitant to start, stepping away from Tarah’s attempts to tie up and even leaning against the ropes for a break as Tarah comes in. An agitated Tarah tries to shoot at April’s leg and almost immediately is taken to ground and nearly locked in an arm-trap crossface before she manages to make it to the ropes and get back up to her feet. April finally does engage in a collar-and-elbow tie up and she immediately gets control. Tarah tries to lift her up into a back suplex position, but April has none of it, using her weight and momentum to roll them both to the mat while still keeping her headlock applied.
Kat Ricci: April’s looking to be a step ahead of the Shock Collar here in the early going. Tarah’s tried to get in some offense but the patient grappling of April is winning out.
Melissa Flash: As great as Tarah has been in her career, getting into a mat-based match with someone like April is a fool’s errand. She’s got to pick up the pace and take Song outta her comfort zone!
April kept the headlock firmly in place until Tarah was able to use a hair-pulling and a quick scramble to get away. Once both women get back to their feet, April tries a rolling elbow, probably a shoutout to her OWA tag partner Diantha Rosso, but is caught with a Crazed Daze (Superkick) from Nova. Sensing that this was her opportunity to take control of the match, Tarah does so in overwhelming fashion, landing several shoot kicks before smacking Song in the head with a roundhouse. This dazed April long enough for Tarah to set up and hit the Detroit Smash (Springing Forearm Smash) to score a nearfall. Now completely in control, Tarah starts using a barrage of knee strikes to the back and ribcage of April, trying to wear her down even more.
Kat Ricci: Tarah is showing us all right now why she is one of the best of all time. She just needed one opening and April is experiencing an avalanche of offense and a world of pain!
Melissa Flash: It was only a matter of time before Tarah found her way. She better not get too comfortable in control or this match could turn just like that once again!
April struggles to get to her feet and finally does so, but it’s in the unfriendly confines of a corner as Tarah continues to pelt her with body blows, doing everything she can to wear Song down. A step up knee to the face was followed by a Shining Wizard, sending a battered Song back to the mat. Tarah gazed at her fallen adversary with a disappointed shake of the head before lifting her up and putting her in position for the Ether! Tarah drops April and raises her knee, but…..
Melissa Flash: ETHER ON THE WAY! NO…..APRIL GETS BOTH HER HANDS UP TO BLOCK IT...THEN FOLLOWS THROUGH WITH A DRAGON SCREW! OUTSTANDING COUNTER!
Kat Ricci: April’s not done yet either as she locks in the Prison Lock! A kneeling figure four right in the center of the ring and now the legend has nowhere to go!
April keeps the Prison Lock in tight as Tarah screams, trying to fight her way out of it but to no avail! Trapped in the middle of the ring, she tries to latch on to April by pulling her hair and April concedes this long enough to land a few stiff right hands once Tarah’s head is exposed. With Tarah temporarily incapacitated, the former Specialists Champion shifts from her Prison Lock to a Sharpshooter, Tarah continuing to take punishment. With a slow, lurching crawl, Tarah finally makes it to the ropes. April doesn’t let up or show any emotion, instead just pulling a now-hobbled Tarah up and hurling her into a nearby corner before landing a series of battering forearms and kicks right to the midsection. April flashes a sinister smile as she starts pulling Tarah up with her onto the turnbuckles…
Kat Ricci: What is on April’s mind now? She’s pulling Tarah up with her and she’s going beyond Bret’s Rope to the very top! This is high risk, high reward!
Melissa Flash: She’s pulling Tarah over her shoulders….FLYING BUSTER DROP ON THE WAY! But Tarah’s fighting out of it! Elbows right to April’s head out of that fireman’s carry position and she manages to free herself and April remains dazed, perched on the top turnbuckle herself!
Kat Ricci: TOP ROPE FRANKENSTEINER FROM TARAH! AND SHE’S NOT DONE! SHE CLIMBS BACK UP! APRIL IS ON HER HANDS AND KNEES! Tarah’s got that gleam in her eye as she leaps from the top….RUDE AWAKENING!
Melissa Flash: NO! Tarah misses and lands awkwardly on that same knee April worked on earlier! April back to her feet and Tarah manages to score with a Crazed Daze (Superkick!) but she couldn’t get a lot of force behind the blow! April’s stunned and Tarah tries to run towards her to go for a Slingblade but April counters with a big boot knocking her out of the sky!
April tried her best to keep the emotions in check, but perhaps the resilience of Tarah Nova started to make her frustrated. Vicious, merciless stomps to the injured knee were followed by groans of excruciating pain from Tarah. April even went to the outside to batter that knee further by slamming it down on the apron and going for her Super-MAX Prison Lock (Ring-post Assisted Figure Four) but Tarah was able to use her strength and pull April in, sending her face first into the post instead. Tarah, injured but definitely aware enough to seize on the opportunity and nail the SuperNova (Diving Double Knee attack from the top rope) to the outside, sending April crashing not only to the floor but against the barricade. With both women down, the referee began a ten count with Tarah making it into the ring before seven and April managing to roll back in right before the count would expire.
Tarah took her turn getting merciless, landing some grounded knee strikes to April’s midsection before pulling her up and running her head-first into the top turnbuckle. Sprinting across the ring, she landed her D.Nied! (Step-Up high knee to a cornered opponent followed by a bulldog or short-arm clothesline) combination, leaving Song helpless and dazed as Tarah took to the skies once more, landing the Detroit Smash (Springing Forearm Smash) and getting a nearfall. In a stark contrast to April’s frustration at Tarah surviving her attacks earlier, Tarah seemed actually amused by this, brushing her boot over April’s head mockingly as if trying to motivate her opponent and friend. April started to move and was stoic at first, but soon responded by catching Tarah’s foot and landing a forearm right to the unguarded injured knee!
Kat Ricci: Tarah may lament that taunting now as April has awakened and gotten up to her feet, Dragon Rush Palm Strikes to the chest and face of Nova! She’s fired back up! Forearms now, repeatedly and with no response from Tarah!
Melissa Flash: April is doing her best to live up to the challenge that she laid down, she sprints into the ropes looking for a diving crossbody….BUT TARAH SIDESTEPS IT AND PULLS APRIL UP ALMOST IMMEDIATELY...FIREMAN’S CARRY POSITION……
Kat Ricci/Melissa Flash: ETHERRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRR!!
Kat Ricci: April is out! April is completely out of it! But Tarah’s knee is causing her some severe pain and she can’t get the cover right away! April isn’t moving though so it may not even matter, all Tarah has to do is get to her and lay an arm over her chest and this is over! She does so!
ONEEEEEEEEEEE!
TWOOOOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
But to the astonishment of Tarah and even the referee, April somehow managed to kick out at the very last millisecond. Tarah looked down bewildered before pulling herself to her feet as best as she could. Looking to the turnbuckle again she went up to the top, looking to score the win with a Soaring Suicide X (Phoenix Splash). She took far too much time to set up the move with her knee hurting and it cost her dearly as she crashed and burned as April rolled out of the way at the very last moment! Realizing her chance to finish the match was now, April hit a perfect Dragon Suplex with a bridge but could only score a two count! Trying a small package netted the same result. April went for another attempted takedown but Tarah caught her with a knee to the midsection before pulling her up for another attempt at the Ether. Her knee buckled before she could land the move and April managed to wiggle free, landing a chop block from behind and then a Shining Black to Tarah’s face.
Song then proceeded to pull up Tarah and score not one, not two, but THREE Northern Lights Bombs in succession before taking to the top rope herself. Tarah was somehow starting to move and stir, but before she could realize where she was, April had come crashing down with her Brave Bird (Frog Splash) to finally score the victory.
Winner: April Song (Pinfall, 20:34)
April was emotional as the final bell sounded, immediately hugging her friend on the canvas as “Message to God” echoed through the arena. Tarah, coming to from the battle wounds of the match, hugged back as April helped her to her feet. Words were exchanged between the two of them but were inaudible. April raised her friend’s hand once more, giving her a chance to stand in the center of the ring one final time. In a show of respect, April not only held the ropes for Tarah so she could exit the ring, but when it was clear that Tarah was still hobbled from their match, April helped her to the back, both women smiling.
Kat Ricci: What a contest. It wasn’t always pretty, but it was fierce and damn emotional. I just want to say thank you so much to Tarah for everything that you’ve given wrestling, everything that you’ve given LAW, and for everything you’ve done to help elevate this business as well as everything you’ll continue to do. We’re definitely going to miss seeing you do your thing.
Melissa Flash: I agree one hundred percent. Tarah went out on her terms and April got that dream match that she always wanted and managed to win it as well. Even so, the bond between the two was definitely on display post-match. (Pauses for a moment, sniffling) We see a lot of terrible, no-class people in this line of work, but Tarah is one of the best. I wish her well in everything she goes after now that she’s hanging up her boots. It was an absolute privilege to call one of her final matches right here in a LAW ring!
“DEVIL” by Shinedown plays as Roni de Vil walks out with her interim Lethal Angel Champion around her waist. Behind her is her sister Tori de Vil. Roni cracks her knuckles and makes her way down the ramp.
Melissa Flash: It’s been a trying season for Roni. After losing the title at Homecoming, she’s been trying to play catch-up ever since.
Kat Ricci: Even after winning back the Lethal Angel Championship at Sin City she couldn’t have that moment to herself.
Melissa Flash: Simultaneous victories have made her and Sweet Roxy temporary champs until tonight where the winner will walk out as the sole Lethal Angel Champion!
Roni climbs into the ring and poses with her title as Tori waits ringside. As her music fades, “Slaytime” by ContRoversy plays as Sweet Roxy walks out with her interim Lethal Angel Championship around her waist. Her former tag partner DiVa is next to her and takes her friend’s hand. Roxy smiles at Roni as she takes her time making her way down the ramp.
Melissa Flash: Daughter of legendary wrestlers Robbie V and Claudia Michaels, Sweet Roxy aims to carve her own legacy. She and Kayla Winters, once tag team partners, were a roadblock for Roni de Vil. After Kayla’s title reign, Sweet Roxy took it upon herself to betray her partner and go into business for herself.
Kat Ricci: If she defeats Roni tonight, she can claim sole ownership over the Lethal Angel Championship and the title history dating back to Sin City. Everything is up for grabs tonight.
Sweet Roxy enters the ring and parades her title around. Roni stares at her with a dark glare as Roxy took off her belt and handed it to the ref.
DING! DING! DING!
London Morris: The following is tonight’s main event scheduled for one fall and it is for the true Lethal Angel Championship! First! Accompanied by Tori de Vil! From Hawthorne, CA! Weighing in at 128 lbs! She is “The Iron Orcus!” Roni! De! Vil!
Roni raised her title in defiance before handing it off to the ref.
London Morris: Her opponent! Accompanied by DiVa! From Las Vegas, NV! Weighing in at 135 lbs! She is “The Game Master” Sweet! Roxy! Vendetta!
Roxy posed with her title once more before handing it to the ref.
DING! DING! DING!
The match began with both women measuring the other as they circled one another around the ring. Just before Roni tried to grab her, Roxy made her escape to the outside of the ring. Roxy whispered something to DiVa who nodded and walked away. Roxy climbed up to the apron and demanded for the ref to keep Roni at bay so she may enter the ring in peace. Once Roxy was in the ring, Roni was on top of her, wailing on her with brutal fists across her back. She whipped Roxy hard into the corner, landed a running clothesline, and followed up with a face wash to a seated and vulnerable Roxy. Roni grabbed her by the hair and dragged her to the center of the ring where she delivered a swift switchblade kick to the back of the neck. Roni rolled Roxy onto her back and delivered a jumping double knee drop to the midsection followed by a standing moonsault double knee drop. DiVa tried to get close to the apron, but thought twice when she saw Tori eyeing her.
Melissa Flash: Roxy’s former OWA tag partner is thinking twice before causing any shenanigans.
Kat Ricci: Roni’s sister Tori has her eye on the situation. She pulls Roxy up by the hair, and tosses her to the outside! She hits the ropes...SUICIDE DIVE! Right into Sweet Roxy!
DiVa looks worried by the way the match is progressing, but keeps her distance. Roni grabs Roxy and tries to throw her into the barricade, but Roxy reverses and slams Roni’s face into it. Taking advantage of a stunned de Vil, Roxy drapes Roni’s body over the barricade and hits a wicked swinging neckbreaker. Roxy drags Roni by her braid and rolls her back into the ring. Roxy climbs up the nearest turnbuckle and leaps off for a diving crossbody! Hooks both legs for a bit, but Roni kicks out at two. Roxy became frustrated but decided to take her time by wearing her opponent down with several working holds. Roxy started a new sequence with a corner whip, follow-up running knee, and a smooth transition to the middle rope for a flawless Tornado DDT! Feeling accomplished, Roxy went for another pin, but Roni kicked out again. Roxy whipped her to the ropes and went for a spinning heel kick, but Roni slid under and countered with a jumping corkscrew roundhouse kick.
Melissa Flash: Unique counter by Roni de Vil! She has Roxy on her knees! She’s firing off stiff shots to the chest! One! Two! Three! Four! She’s going for a roundhouse-
Kat Ricci: Roxy ducked and rolled her up!
Ref: OOOOONNEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
TH-
Kat Ricci: Roni kicked out just in time!
As both women get to their feet, Roxy hits a picture-perfect dropkick to the chest. Roni tries to get back up, but each time she does she’s met with another dropkick. Roxy hits the ropes and goes for a sunset flip, but Roni counters with a back body drop! She picks up Roxy and whips her to the corner and lands a devastating Silver Bullet (Running big boot to a cornered opponent). Roxy slumps in the corner and Roni hits several more facewashes. She ties Roxy to the ropes, hits the opposite side and goes for a dropkick, but DiVa pulls Roxy down by the legs at the last minute, causing Roni to tumble over the pulled ropes. Having enough of her interference, Tori de Vil charges at DiVa, who heads up the ramp. The ref turns her attention back to the competitors who are both down. She starts counting Roni out, who is struggling to get back to her feet. Meanwhile, Roxy is trying to free herself from the ropes. She notices that DiVa is missing from ringside and looks around as Roni rolls back into the ring.
Melissa Flash: Roxy is looking for DiVa, but she’s nowhere to be found! She’s beginning to realize that she’s on her own right now!
Kat Ricci: Roni has the look of death in her eyes! She’s heading straight for Roxy! Silver Bullet! It connects! Roni makes the cover!
Ref: OOOOOONNEEEE!
TWWWWOOOO!!!
Melissa Flash: Roxy kicks out!
Roni gets up and pulls a stunned Roxy to her feet. She whips her to the nearest corner and connects with a Shining Wizard! She pulls her from the corner into a Dissolve and Decay (Spinning belly-to-back suplex). She goes for a Starlighter’s Echo (Crossface chickenwing with bodyscissors) but Roxy counters with a roll-up. Roni easily kicks out and whips Roxy to the ropes. Roxy bounces off the middle rope and counters with a moonsault from out of nowhere! Roxy started to stomp at Roni’s face, who retreated to the nearest corner. Roxy kept the pressure up and landed a bronco buster, rocking Roni senseless! Roxy pulled her out from the corner and hit a spin kick to the gut, forcing Roni to double over. She goes for a Felina (Running Curb Stomp), but Roni evades and counters with Raining Daggers (Sunset flip double knee backbreaker)! With her opponent laid out Roni makes a cover, but Roxy kicks out again. Roni wastes no time whipping her to the ropes ro deliver her finisher The Hawthorne Effect (Delayed lifting reverse STO), but Roxy spins out of it and reverses with a hurricanrana!
Melissa Flash: Beautiful counter by Sweet Roxy! It’s been a back and forth slug fest so far!
Kat Ricci: Look at the stage! It’s DiVa and she’s dragging the unconscious body of Tori! Roni’s sister is unresponsive! Roni’s sliding out of the ring to check on her sister!
Melissa Flash: DiVa’s headed to the back, and Sweet Roxy follows her up the ramp!
As Roni checks on her sister, Roxy sneaks up from behind and attacks her. Before Roni could defend herself, Roxy drags her by the braid towards ringside and whips her into the steel stairs. She rolls Roni back into the ring and climbs to the top and hits Roxy’s Dream House (Top Rope Moonsault)! She goes for the pin, but Roni kicks out at two and a half! Frustrated, Roxy sets her up for the The Carousel (Standing Shiranui twisted into a Tornado DDT) but Roni twists her into a Roni FM (Pop-up powerbomb) to which Roxy counters with a Frankensteiner roll-up! Roni kicks out and both women scramble to get to their feet- Bitch Lasagna (Spike Jumping Cutter)! Roni is laid out! Roxy climbs the nearest turnbuckle and hits The Curse of Mikado (Five Star Frog Splash)! The ref makes the cover as Roxy pulls up both legs!
OOOOONEEEEEEEEEE!!!
TWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!
THREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
DING! DING! DING!
”Slaytime” plays as a surprised Roxy rolls off of Roni with her jaw dropped.
London Morris: Your winner via pinfall and your ONE and ONLY Lethal Angel Champion….SWEET! ROXY!
Melissa Flash: Through hook and crook she got it! After chasing the title alongside Roni de Vil it’s Sweet Roxy Vendetta at the finish line!
Kat Ricci: No matter how you feel, there’s no denying that she came with a battle plan and exploited it to perfection!
Melissa Flash: We are officially in the Sweet Roxy era right now! And you can guarantee that she’ll find a way to rule with an iron fist!
The camera lingers on Sweet Roxy as she celebrates in the ring with DiVa as she is presented with the actual Lethal Angel Championship. DiVa steps back as Roxy climbs the nearest turnbuckle and raise the title high into the air.
