JET 39 - Goddess Dream 2020 Tour Night 3
Location: KBS Hall in Kobe, Japan
Date: July 22, 2020
Opening Segment:
The show opened differently as there was a contract signing between JUNKO and Mizuki, both seemed to be disinterested in one another and the hate could be felt. Both got time to get their shots in from everything ranging JUNKO calling Mizuki a failure as The Ace and Mizuki reminding her that DESPERADOS haven’t done anything worthwhile since they were still KAGUYA-Gun.
Both signed the contract as it ended with Mizuki raising the title high in the air in front of her challenger. In between them was GM Yoko Kudo who made sure that no cheap shot could be made.

Opening Match:
Tani Yamanaka vs. Rei Kagura
Match Note:
A match to showcase Tani’s talent as she was able to take it to the experienced Rei Kagura. Once again Rei’s dirty tactics didn’t help her secure the win as Tani was able to nail Rei with a TORA Driver followed up with a Neo-Emerald Driver.
(Winner - Tani Yamanaka)
Post-Match:
Rei Kagura is left in the ring as Tani has already left and she wants a mic, Rei begins to make excuses as suddenly male workers for the KBS Hall begin to roll out a red carpet. Soon a tall figure woman makes her way out from the back that seems to excite the crowd. Almost as if she doesn’t care about Rei in the ring, she asks for a microphone and begins to speak.
“My name is NAMI and as of today, I’m a JET wrestler. It’s nice to meet you all.”
Rei Kagura who seems to be pissed off begins to speak but immediately she is cut off by NAMI.
“So are you my debut opponent? Thank you for stepping up and eating this loss. Your name is Kei Zakura right?”
“It’s Rei Kagura!!”
A fierce slap from Rei as she is immediately hit with a big boot by NAMI’s long leg. Rei immediately is forced out of the ring as she begins to yell at NAMI.

Match 2:
Vivina Wolfe w/Bethany Sharpe vs. Sara Ashiya
Match Note:
In another tune up match for the Wolfegang Symphony, it was all Vivina but Sara put a good fight for her second match as a pro, showing off how much Mizuki Nakata influenced her career. But in the end the match ended after seven minutes following a Whitechapel Massarce.
(Winner - Vivina Wolfe)
Post-Match:
After Vivina’s win, Sharpe joined her in the ring as they had opened the mouth to a chorus of boos. They soon let it know that they are tired of waiting and they demanded for their opponents to show up.
Bethany Sharpe: “We’re tired of waiting! Opponents come on out or I promise you that JET will never see these titles again… we might as well defended them back in OWT---”
Right on cue, “Keep Your Faith” by Shoji Meguro made their way out and the crowd got louder.
IT WAS SAKUYA GOTO AND SHARPE WAS NOT HAPPY TO SEE HER OLD OWT RIVAL!! Sakuya got into the ring and she wasn’t empty handed as she had the OWT Women’s Champion around her waist. She soon asked the ringside worker for a mic who gladly gave her one. With a smile on her face she started to talk.
“Hi Beth… How have you been?”
Bethany seething at this point was held back as Sakuya told everyone that she was one of the two mystery opponents for Wolfegang. Right on cue, Bethany made a remark that Sakuya might be a little dim-witted, she needed a tag partner and the OWT Women’s Champ said she had a partner. The only partner that she needed to beat Wolfegang Symphony.
Just as she said that “1,000,000 Times” by My First Story played and another pop from the crowd as it was the former JET World Champion and three time JET World Tag Champion, Mei Nakahara. As if the things couldn’t get more intense, it seems that the match at Goddess Dream will be Skyland Paradise vs. Wolfegang Symphony.

Match 3:
Sora Todoh, Hannah Rockford, and Megan Enders vs. Midori Miyamoto, Yuki Takigawa and Makiya Kusanagi.
Match Note:
After being told by Midori Miyamoto to get better or expect to lose, Sora was on fire for the match as she took it to everyone. Her teammates also were able to showcase their stuff but Team Midori fought back and were able to take it to their opponents. The match ended with Yuki falling to a Shinryu Suplex from Sora.
(Winners - Sora Todoh, Hannah Rockford and Megan Enders)
Post-Match:
Sora had to be pulled away just a bit as she was completely focused on Midori and it seemed that the former champ was impressed.
---
Segment:
It was a video package for Tomoyo Hirate as she was letting out her feelings about how she felt about going on an excursion. She wanted to improve as she hadn’t been able to live up to her potential and it was driving her nuts. She promised that Rio’s toughest challenge as National Champion will be her.
---
Semi-Main:
Ai Moe vs. Masumi Tsutsumi w/ Narumi
Match Note:
Both were looking to gain entry into this match as it meant a guaranteed title match for either the Academy title or National title if they won the gauntlet. Both showed everything they had and then some. Multiple nearfalls as Ai Moe was desperate to nail “Love Is A Battlefield” and it showed, the crowd was behind Ai instead of Masumi as she fired her up. Masumi’s kicks that she nailed for the majority of the match showed as Ai was limping. The match ended as the match ended not with a bang but with a whimper as Ai got the win with a roll up.
(Winner - Ai Moe)
Post-Match:
The crowd in Kobe were cheering for her but those cheers soon turned into boos as Julia Zhang and Q from DESPERADOS made their move. Targeting Ai’s hurt leg until Masumi was able to get them away from her. The segment ended with Ai Moe needing to be helped back as she could barely walk on her own.
---
In-Ring Segment:
Natsu Toyama was in the ring as she let out her feelings, the inability to retain the tag titles with Azumi as her partner. The feeling that her career has gone downhill as last year she was in the JET World Championship match and now… She wasn’t even on the card for the Tribute show dedicated to her mother. The second generation star soon made a unique challenge. She challenged Azumi Goto to a singles match at Goddess Dream.
“Azumi, I know you’re in America right now but I need to know your answer… please accept this challenge.”
---
Main Event:
Amy Slayton and DESPERADOS (JUNKO, SAIKO, and Jessica Rose) vs. Mizuki Nakata, IZM, Machiko Hasegawa, and Momoko Honda
Match Note:
Similar to the last time there was a big tag match, it started with a brawl but luckily this time it didn’t end the match in a no contest. Momoko unfortunately fell victim to the attacks of DESPERADOS as they wanted to soften her up for SAIKO. Constant tags between the trinity and Amy Slayton but the faces were able to make fiery tags with Machiko and IZM in different points in the match. Unfortunately miscommunication from Machiko and IZM resulted in Hasegawa being pinned by the Academy Champion following a Devil’s Dance.
(Winners - Amy Slayton and DESPERADOS)
Post-Match:
A negative reaction from the crowd as JUNKO was on the mic. Mizuki and co. had already gone to the back at this point as she taunted JET but also taunted the injured KAGUYA.
“You wanted to be the poison that killed this company and now I’m doing that instead of you. KAGUYA, your weakness caused your downfall and I’m here just a week away from my greatest victory---”
The lights started to flicker just a bit which stopped after a few flicks. The commentators apologized for the inconvenience and JUNKO resumed her negative talk.
“After Goddess Dream, this company is dead! Fitting that JET was born because of Manami and dies because of Manami’s Chosen One!”
