A recap of JET 43 plays with the highlights including the announcement of the stipulation for Nagoya Spotlight. The camera soon cuts to Club Citta where the seats are half-filled due to the restrictions, soon “Desire” by Akina Nakamori plays with much excitement in the air as JET’s Founder and now IJWF Chairwoman Miss Manami makes her way from the back out to the ring.
Maki Fujioka: Hello everyone, welcome to JET 44! I’m Maki Fujioka joined as always by Asuka Kuramochi and we’re coming to you live from Club Citta.
Asuka Kuramochi: It’s great to be here and it’s also great to have the founder of JET, the iconic Miss Manami. Apparently, she has some news about the upcoming Collision Course III event in February.
Miss Manami is handed a mic as “Desire” dies down and she begins to speak.
Miss Manami: Hello everyone, it’s been a while?
The crowd cheered a bit as Manami continued to speak.
Miss Manami: It seems that everything is going well? I’m here to bring some fun news regarding Collision Course III in February. Each and every year Collision Course gets bigger and bigger, what started off as a small scale event between the IJWF members has now turned into a once a year celebration for all things women’s wrestling. This past year saw the return of the Queen Of The World tournament. This year? We intend to bring it back.
Next year, it will be the 20th anniversary of the very first Queen Of The World tournament that was won by yours truly. With this year’s event, we want it to be a grander scale and so what a better way than having it being a THREE DAY wrestling event!
The excitement from the crowd reaches new levels as Manami reveals the news.
Miss Manami: Of course, last year’s winner Nixie Caine will be automatically added in to be given a chance to defend her crown as Queen Of The World and seven more entrants will be added over time. Along with Queen Of The World, every single championship for JET, LAW, and all of the IJWF belts will be defended at the event. Let’s make Collision Course III, the greatest wrestling event EVER.
“Desire” plays one more time as the crowd cheers and Manami takes her leave, exiting the ring but not before high fiving fans in the front row.

Match 1:
Na Fionna and Misaki Suzuki vs. Melissa Enders and Tate Amado
Four of the newest editions to the JET rosters were put into teams for the opening match. The match was a showcase of the four talents and all of their skills and abilities. The end saw Misaki Suzuki, the least experienced wrestler out of the four be pinned by Tate Amado who nailed an Amado Driver for the win.
(Winners - Tate Amado and Melissa Enders)
--
Match 2:
Talia Areano w/ Megan Enders vs. Julia Zhang w/Q
The second match was the first of two singles match hyping up the JET Tag Team Championship match coming up at Nagoya Spotlight as Talia Areano took on Julia Zhang. Both women were wrestling at a fast pace while their partners were just at ringside. Zhang looked to have the advantage in the early stages but Talia fought back with plenty of maneuvers and such to win with a Slice of Heaven.
(Winner - Talia Areano)
---
Match 3:
Megan Enders w/Talia Areano vs. Q w/Julia Zhang
Megan and Q took their turn for their match right after. Both their partners were at ringside as the match before and this time it was DESPERADOS’ Q who looked in control all the way through the match. She wore down the arm of Megan but the ever-resilient Enders fought back and nearly had the match won with a spear. Instead, it was a DESPERADOS win as Q was able to get some assist from Julia and score the win with a Q’s Landing.
(Winner - Q)

(As the video package for Diantha Rosso begins, we see her in a wrestling school, sparring with and training young students under the watchful eye of her older brother Carlos, himself a former champion in OWA. There is a new crispness in her strikes that has never been seen before.)
Voice Over (Japanese): Underdog. Outcast. Wallflower...Champion. Diantha Rosso comes to JET with a new taste for competition. The Lioness who reached the top of the OWA twice, one of the most decorated female wrestlers in America in recent years comes to Japan looking for new adventures and new battles.
Diantha (English): Even though I don’t have the OWA Women’s World Championship anymore, I still consider myself the best in North America. I wanted to come here to test myself against the finest Joshis the world can offer and JET gave me that opportunity. There’s a certain Ace here that caught my eye, but Wolfgang Symphony wanted to test me. They’ll have their wish.
(The video shows Diantha scoring some of her biggest wins, including submitting Eris to win the OWA Women’s World title, her and former tag partner April Song winning the SSW World Tag Team titles in the Tokyo Dome.)
Diantha (English): America is my home, Mexico I’ve always considered my wrestling home...but Japan is calling to me now. Maybe it was something about standing in the Tokyo Dome as my brother did all those years ago. Maybe it was just the rush of something different. Or maybe it was a taste of new adventures being sated somewhat. I’ve been here before, but back then I was a young girl. I want to show Japan and the world what I’m capable of.
Voice Over (Japanese): The Warrior’s Cry has reached the Lioness’s ears, now the strongest women’s wrestler from the West comes to clash with the powers of the East! Her arsenal of powerful strikes and never ending barrage of high-impact moves makes her dangerous.
(A quick clip montage shows her hitting snap Dragon Suplexes, her Burning Moon knee strike and her finisher of choice, the Space Turbulence (Diving Corkscrew stunner).)
Diantha (Japanese): I am the Iron Lioness, the Inextinguishable Flame of the West...and I am the strongest wrestler in the world. And I will prove it as I stand in a JET ring.
With my hand, I call to you (Call to you!)
Smoke will rise from burning through
Now I'm alive, we must decide…
Whether to stand or hide from the light…
Won’t you see it….
Won’t you see it…
Won't you see it through?
(The video ends with a recent clip of Diantha standing on the turnbuckle in OWA, holding both the OWA Women’s And SSW World Tag Team titles.)

Match 4:
Midori Miyamoto, Ai Moe and HULK vs. Osoroshii (Masumi Tsutsumi and Mei Namikaze) and Machiko Hasegawa
With their upcoming title match contract match at Nagoya, both Midori and Tsutsumi faced off in another tag match. This time Midori was joined by former trios partner Ai Moe and powerhouse young star HULK. Osoroshii were joined by their own young powerhouse star and HULK’s rival Machiko Hasegawa. The two power wrestlers got to continue from their encounter at Nagoya Spotlight with bruising stiff shots and trying to outmuscle the other. Midori and Masumi got to face off again as they continued to outkick the other but the finish of the match saw Ai Moe getting the win for her team as she pinned Mei following a Love Is A Battlefield for the win.
(Winners - Midori Miyamoto, Ai Moe, and HULK)
Post-Match:
In her post-match, Midori was asked if she will continue to see if she continue to outstrike Masumi and she said that her briefcase is on the line but at the same time, her pride as a striker is also on the line.
Masumi when given the chance to give her comments said something similar as both want to prove that they are the superior strike based wrestler.

After the brute match, the camera cut to a video package where the sounds of a steel door shutting can be heard followed by 90s era Japanese commentators yelling. A female voice soon begins to speak.
: Steel has been used to create some important inventions but also has been used to create dangerous weapons and dangerous structures like the classic steel cage.
The voice happens to be that of JET General Manager Yoko Kudo and the footage from the first-ever Cage Death Match in the 90s at the height of popularization of the deathmatch style.
Yoko Kudo: Structures like the steel cage could jeopardize a career, shorten its lifespan. At the height of Japanese hardcore wrestling, one man thought of an idea. What if you gave the men and women who were locked inside of a cage, more weapons to harm one another? I’ve seen everything from knives, nails, chairs, kendo stick, tables, pieces of glass and so much more attached to the inner walls of the cage. Let out anger, vile, and all malicious intentions inside the cage. No disqualification, and more importantly there is no escape.
The footage shows the cage but unlike normal pro-wrestling cages, the roof is closed off.
Yoko Kudo: The only to win is pinfall, submission, referee stoppage, or knockout.
Footage of all three different types of finishes is shown off and even footage of Yoko Kudo herself in her younger days competing in a Cage Death Match.
Yoko Kudo: Even I have battle scars from this match, the best way to end a blood feud… is to let them go to war against each other inside of this structure!
Finally, the last shots of footage are of KAGUYA and JUNKO combined with the 90s footage of the Cage Death Match.

Semi-Main:
Mizuki Nakata and New Generation Army (Saki Misawa and IZM) vs. Wolfegang Symphony (Bethany Sharpe and Vivina Wolfe) and NAMI
In the semi-main, JET’s Ace teamed up with the New Generation Army, Saki Misawa, and IZM to face off against IZM’s challenger at Nagoya Spotlight and her opponent Vivina Wolfe and Bethany Sharpe. With Mizuki’s own partner not here, she had to put faith in NGA during the match. Saki looked great in her second match in JET as she and her best friend IZM showed off how well they can work together as a team but NAMI and Wolfegang were able to soon take advantage of IZM’s hurt right arm once again as NAMI has done throughout most of this tour. Everything changed once IZM got the tag to Mizuki, it looked like The Ace was going to single-handedly get the win for her team but Wolfegang Symphony were able to put a stop to that. The finish of the match saw the inexperienced Saki getting pinned by NAMI who nailed with a Plastic Surgery for the win.
(Winners - Wolfegang Symphony and NAMI)
Post-Match:
Mizuki was on her backstage when she was giving her comments and Wolfegang took this chance to assault The Ace and specifically targeting arm. Both Sharpe and Wolfe were cocky as they mocked Mizuki and made it clear to Diantha that there is hell to pay if you cross Wolfegang Symphony.

(Intermission promoting Nagoya Spotlight LIVE on December 27th.)
Main Event:
KAGUYA and Rio Kurokawa vs. The Swarm (SAIKO and JUNKO)
In the main event, DESPERADOS’ subgroup better known as The Swarm took on JET National Champion Rio Kurokawa and KAGUYA. Luckily the crowd at Club Citta were given a main event tonight, unlike the last show. KAGUYA and Rio were right on the offensive until JUNKO and SAIKO were able to take advantage by working on Rio’s neck. The crowd was desperate to see KAGUYA get in the ring and The Red Dragon soon got in after Rio got the hot tag. KAGUYA was on fire as she took it to both of her former allies with stiff strikes. The match was going the way of KAGUYA and Rio. Near the end, a hectic sequence occurred as Q and Zhang rushed down to the ring to help their faction leader but luckily Rio and KAGUYA had support in their own backup as the JET Tag Champs Talia Areano and Megan Enders made sure that Zhang and Q didn’t intervene. JUNKO got desperate and looked to go for a mist spray but KAGUYA blocked it with her arms just in time with her arm, despite it looking like it burned her arms a bit she pushed on, nailing an Uraken and winning the match following a Dragon’s Roar. KAGUYA pinned JUNKO just weeks before their world title match!
(Winners - KAGUYA and Rio Kurokawa)
Post Match:
KAGUYA looked at JUNKO as she got off her, the rest of DESPERADOS helped their leader to the back as KAGUYA got a chance to grab a microphone and closed the show.
KAGUYA: You think that tonight was vicious! JUST WAIT UNTIL NAGOYA SPOTLIGHT! Every bit of hatred I have for you will be released.
KAGUYA looked at the cheering Club Citta fans as she nodded her head.
KAGUYA: I know all of you want me to be the hero for JET but I can’t do that for you all. That isn’t my role to play in this, after everything I can’t go back and apologize for the things I have done. It just isn’t the way around here, right now it isn’t my goal to be the hero for this promotion but rather to be the person who ENDS DESPERADOS. This promotion is my home but I’m not fighting for the honor of JET, something that DESPERADOS have tarnished and so did I back in the day.
Instead, I’m going to fight to end something that was born because of me. I’m going to fight for the revenge that I have wanted for over 8 months now. Rio, do you wanna add anything?
KAGUYA looks toward the JET National who simply shakes her head and walks off towards the back.
KAGUYA: Well, looks like she doesn’t want to add anything and wants to let her actions speak on her behalf. Thank you all for coming tonight!
“With Vengeance” plays as KAGUYA drops her microphone and walks away. The final shot is of KAGUYA looking back and raising her fist in the air for the fans.
