(The show opens with a video. A dark and empty Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium. A single spotlight above the ring is turned on and all that can be seen is an old school hanging mic. Soon a man steps out of the shadow and grabs the microphone as “Let The Show Begin” by Airi Suzuki begins to play. The man begins to move his lips as they sync perfectly with the opening bit.)
“HEY EVERYBODY
Today I would like to introduce you
To the one and only Entertainer!”
“REEEEAAAAADDDDDYYYYYY GO!”
(As Airi’s vocals start, a montage of important Nagoya Spotlight and landmarks mesh together with footage of previous events under the “Spotlight” name ever since the first event in 2018. Finally pictures of the match cards for tonight appear just as the chorus kicks in. A voiceover can be heard over the song.)

Airi Suzuki: Let the show begin!
(The final chorus of “Let The Show Begin” starts to play as the banner for the event appears on screen.)
Voiceover: TOYOTA, SAMURAI TV AND JOSHI EXTREME TAKEOVER PRESENTS
**NAGOYA SPOTLIGHT**
(Camera cuts from the video package to a packed Aichi Prefectural Gymnasium. The crowd looked excited and the set on the ramp was beautifully done. with smaller versions of iconic Nagoya landmarks on stage.)
Maki Fujioka: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! I HOPE YOUR CHRISTMAS WAS WONDERFUL AND HAPPY! JET IS HAPPY TO BE BACK IN THE BEAUTIFUL CITY OF AICHI IN NAGOYA FOR THIS YEAR’S SPOTLIGHT EVENT DUBBED NAGOYA SPOTLIGHT!
(Camera cuts to Maki Fujioka and Asuka Kuramochi ready to go for the evening, safety precautions being held as there is a clear barrier between the two.)
Maki Fujioka: As always I’m Maki Fujioka, and as always joined by the wonderful Asuka Kuramochi!
Asuka Kuramochi: The Christmas break was fun but it’s great to be back and calling some of the best women’s wrestling on the planet. What a night we’ve got set for our fans. JET versus DESPERADOS reaches new heights especially in the main event! A first-time-ever Cage Death Match but also every title and accolade available is on the line but we’re starting off with one of the most anticipated debuts in a long while but also a dream team vs JET’s most successful team. TAKE IT AWAY, NAOMI!
(Naomi Serizawa is ready to go for the first match of the evening as “Roundtable Rivals'' by Lindsey Stirling plays and it signals the arrival of Wolfegang Symphony, both wearing matching silver attire. The crowd gives off a negative reaction as they don’t seem to mind at all.)
Naomi Serizawa: THE FOLLOWING TAG MATCH IS YOUR OPENING CONTEST OF THE EVENING SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL! INTRODUCING FIRST, THEY ARE THE TEAM OF BETHANY SHARPE AND VIVINA WOLFE! SYYYYMMMPPPHOOONYYYY!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: And here we go with the opening contest of this event! JET’s most successful tag team vs. a Dream Team! Both members of Wolfegang Symphony have not been happy with the fact that they aren’t JET Tag Team Champions at the moment and they tried to tell the world that by interrupting both of their opponents who were about to set up a match between one another.
Maki Fujioka: And so instead of the big singles match between Mizuki and Diantha, we’ve got this tag match here instead. Maybe Wolfegang Symphony bit off more than can chew.
(Wolfegang Symphony enters the ring and both pose for the crowd. They seem a bit annoyed once their music changes to “Rage of Dust'' by SPYAIR to a positive reaction from the crowd. Mizuki wearing a black and gold attire along with an entrance with the same color scheme makes her out from the back.)
Naomi Serizawa: AND THEIR OPPONENTS! FIRST! FROM SERA, HIROSHIMA, JAPAN! SHE IS THE ACE OF JET! NNNAAAAKKKKAAATTTTAAAA MIIIZZZZUUUKKIIII!!!!!
Maki Fujioka: AND THERE SHE IS, LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! THE ACE IS HERE IN NAGOYA! Mizuki Nakata, the most successful main eventer that JET has had the pleasure of having but ever since losing the JET World Champion, things have not gone well for her when it comes to PPV matches. Going into this match, Mizuki walks in with a three PPV losing streak.
Asuka Kuramochi: Mizuki was looking to have a first-time-ever singles match against the woman she is teaming. You know that in the back of The Ace’s mind, she wants that singles match against Diantha Rosso but right now she has to focus on this match.
(Mizuki enters the ring as she gets onto the middle turnbuckle of her corner and poses for the fans. Soon the music changes for the last time as “Eclipse” by Yngwie Malmsteen plays one more time. Another loud ovation from the crowd as Diantha makes her way out from the back, coincidentally she had matching colors like her partner.)
Naomi Serizawa: AND HER PARTNER! FROM NEW ORLEANS, LOUSIANA, UNITED STATES! SHE IS THE HEAVENLY LIONESS! DDDIIIIIAAANNNNTTTHHHAAA ROOOOSSSSOOOOO!!!!
Maki Fujioka: ONE OF THE MOST ANTICIPATED DEBUTS IN JET HISTORY! A two-time OWA Women’s World Champion, two-time SSW Tag Team Champion, and one of the best, if not the best female wrestlers from the west. Diantha Rosso is finally making her in-ring debut for Joshi Extreme Takeover.
Asuka Kuramochi: It might not be a singles match but a dream team with The Ace of JET. Either what at long last, Diantha Rosso will be competing as a JET Wrestler.
(Diantha enters the ring and like her partner, she goes towards the nearest turnbuckle and poses for the crowd. Diantha takes off her hood as she nods towards Mizuki just as “Eclipse” dies down.)
(DING DING DING!!)
Maki Fujioka: And here we go with the first match of the evening. It looks like Mizuki Nakata and Vivina Wolfe will start the match, both have faced off in two singles matches previously in the past two RISE Grand Prix with Mizuki having a 2-0 record but we all know Wolfe and Sharpe are much better when teaming together than in singles matches. Nakata and Wolfe now begin to circle the ring, they finally lock up, and immediately Wolfe is being pushed back towards by the strength of the former JET World Champion. Vivina has the height advantage but the strength advantage definitely goes to The Ace.
Vivina Wolfe (off-mic/English): REF! REF! TELL HER TO BREAK!
Asuka Kuramochi: Vivina's loud request soon happens as Mizuki performs a clean break. The Ace returns to the center of the ring as both she and her opponent circle the ring one more time. Mizuki and Vivina lock up but this time, Vivina Wolfe has a hold of Mizuki’s long brown hair and she’s able to push her back to the ropes, this time the referee wants Wolfe to break the lock-up and warns her to not grab Mizuki’s hair. Wolfe breaks the hold… and she nails a forearm to Mizuki. That barely made Mizuki flinch and The Ace responds with her that practically knocks Wolfe off her feet, I guess we can already tell who can take a stiff blow, and it definitely is not Wolfe.
Maki Fujioka: Mizuki now grabs Vivina’s arm and twists it as she takes her over to Diantha. A tag now from Mizuki to Diantha and the crowd pop in cheers as Diantha Rosso gets her first bit of in-ring action in JET. For those who have never seen Diantha in the ring, I promise you by the end of this match, regardless of the result, you will be impressed by The Heavenly Lioness. The first signs of teamwork between Diantha and Mizuki who still has a hold of Vivina’s arm. Diantha now with a kick right to the arm of Vivina. Bethany’s with a loud and obnoxious scream as she yells out to her partner if she is okay. Meanwhile, Diantha pulls Vivina out of the corner and nails a snap suplex.
Hana Oikawa: OOOONNNNNEEE!!!
TWWWW--
Asuka Kuramochi: Vivina kicks out and immediately Vivina is pulled up to a seated position by Diantha. A shoot kick right to the chest of Wolfe by Diantha, you could probably hear those kicks from the farthest seats of the venue. Another kick from Diantha as Wolfe seems to be struggling to breathe thanks to those kicks to the chest. Diantha rushes the ropes and nails a perfect penalty kick, Wolfe is down and Diantha tags Mizuki back into the match. The Ace is back in for a second time around and she gets Wolfe up to her feet. A forearm from Mizuki, a second one from Mizuki, and a third unanswered forearm by The Ace. Wolfe is stunned as Mizuki rushes to the ropes but whatever she was planning is stopped as Bethany Sharpe drilled her with a knee right to the back. Mizuki’s attention turns to Bethany and she swings but Bethany pulls Mizuki to the outside by her hair and The Ace goes tumbling down to the floor. A bad landing for Mizuki as she just went back first onto the edge of the apron and then tumbled down onto the floor.
Maki Fujioka: Wolfegang Symphony are seeing this chance as their opportunity to take control. Vivina tags Bethany who immediately goes down to the floor and picks up Mizuki who is holding her back in pain. Sharpe now drives Mizuki back first right into the steel barricade! Hana Oikawa is starting her count as she wants the action to return to the ring.
Hana Oikawa: ONE!
Asuka Kuramochi: Jeez, that must hurt and Wolfegang has found their limb to target, Bethany isn’t finished as she once again drives Mizuki back first into the barricade.
Hana Oikawa: TWO!
Asuka Kuramochi: Bethany is using the steel barricade perfectly as she smashes Mizuki’s right arm into the steel as well. The Ace seems to be in real pain as she is holding her hands. Bethany does again and once again Mizuki has her arm smashed right into the steel fence barricade.
Hana Oikawa: THREE!
Asuka Kuramochi: Finally Bethany brings her opponent back into the ring as she immediately goes for the cover.
Hana Oikawa: OOONNNNNEEEEE!!!
TWWWWOOOOO!
Maki Fujioka: A kickout from The Ace. Sharpe and Wolfe probably know that Mizuki is one of the most resilient competitors in the world but it doesn’t mean they can’t try to end it early. Both members of Wolfegang Symphony now have Mizuki trapped in their corner as Bethany tags in Vivina who has decided to take some time to mock her opponent. Wolfe now pulls Mizuki out of the corner and goes for a snap suplex. She isn’t going for the pin and instead, she immediately gets up and nails a knee drop right on the hurt right arm. Diantha is cheering Mizuki on and tells her to escape, so she can get in.
Asuka Kuramochi: Mizuki is slowly getting up to all fours as she tries to crawl over to her corner but it’s too far. Look at Wolfe who seems to be mocking The Ace again.
Vivina Wolfe (off-mic/English): Come on Mizuki! Try your best and crawl over there to her! You can do it, Ace!
Maki Fujioka: Mizuki sluggishly gets up to her feet and instead of replying back with her words, she replies back with her forearm as she nails a stiff strike. The elbow strike seems to have also hurt Mizuki as she used her right arm for the attack. Wolfe seems a bit pissed off as she drives Mizuki back first right to the Wolfegang Symphony corner. Wolfe gets some space away from her opponent and charges in with a big boot right to Mizuki’s face! Wolfegang Symphony has done a great job of isolating Mizuki from her partner and as much as people say that strategy is too simple, it’s the perfect way to attack in a tag match.
Asuka Kuramochi: That’s true, Maki and this kind of isolation is the reason why Wolfegang can be considered the most successful tag team in modern-day JET. Back to the action as Sharpe is tagged back in and she pulls Mizuki out of the corner. A beautiful butterfly suplex from Bethany Sharpe as Mizuki lands hard onto her back but The Conductor isn’t finished as she smoothly transitions into an armbar. She has the submission locked in tight and she’s pulling back on Mizuki’s hurt right arm. The Ace is struggling but she is clawing her to the nearest ropes, I don’t know if Mizuki has the strength in her to reach the ropes. The Ace hasn’t quit yet and she’s doing everything in her power to reach the ropes… and Mizuki’s got the ropes! Sharpe is being told to break the hold by referee Oikawa but she is refusing to do so and pulling back even more on the arm of Mizuki.
Hana Oikawa: BETHANY! BREAK THE HOLD! ONE! TWO THREE FOUR!
Maki Fujioka: Bethany Sharpe finally breaks the hold and does so before the count of five. She soon tags Wolfe back in and she immediately rushes towards Diantha, nailing her with a big boot and causing her to tumble off the apron. Diantha is down and Mizuki will have to fight on her own for a time being. This is bad as Wolfe goes on the offensive just as Mizuki gets onto her knees. A kick to Mizuki’s chest by Wolfe, and a second kick from her but Mizuki lets out a roar as she slowly gets back up despite Wolfe nailing with the Wolfe Pack Kicks. Mizuki is kicked once again in the chest by Wolfe but she responds with a forearm. Despite her arm in pain, Mizuki is still fighting and nails another forearm. Vivina tries for another big boot but Mizuki dodges and nails Wolfe with an EXPLODER SUPLEX! A picture-perfect Exploder Suplex, just like how every member of the Nakata Family would hit it.
Asuka Kuramochi: But Mizuki looks absolutely exhausted as she collapses down to her knees. There is no one in her corner as Diantha is still down, meanwhile, Wolfe is reaching over her and tags Bethany back in. The Conductor looks at Mizuki down on all fours and sees this as her chance to end it. Sharpe rushes in for a B-FLAT! NO! Mizuki sidesteps and dodges the curb stomp attempt. ANOTHER EXPLODER SUPLEX FROM MIZUKI! Again Mizuki pulled out the Nakata Family trademark to put down her foe AND LOOK! DIANTHA IS BACK ON THE APRON AND WANTS THE TAG!
Maki Fujioka: Mizuki with what seems to be the last bit of energy in her body gets up… and SHE GETS THE TAG TO DIANTHA! The crowd explodes with cheers as Bethany Sharpe is back up to her feet and Diantha springboards into the ring with a crossbody! Both Sharpe and Rosso are up immediately as Bethany swings wildly but Diantha dodges and nails a forearm, a second forearm! Another unanswered shot from Diantha as she now goes for the Irish-whip but Sharpe reverses and instead, it’s The Heavenly Lioness who is sent to the corner. Sharpe charges but Diantha is able to get her a drop toe hold just in time and Bethany goes face-first into the middle turnbuckle.
Asuka Kuramochi: Diantha isn’t stopping at all as she takes a step back and rushes in! BURNING MOON RIGHT TO THE BACK OF SHARPE’S HEAD! A perfect Bicycle Knee from Diantha, she pulls Sharpe out of the corner by her waist! A release German Suplex from Diantha and Sharpe is on her knees, Bethany looks out of it right now as Diantha charges in for ANOTHER BURNING MOON! A cover by Diantha!
Hana Oikawa: OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEE!!!!
TWWWWWWWOOOOOOO!!
THHHRRRRR
Maki Fujioka: Sharpe kicks out and Diantha doesn’t seem to be finished at all! She soon gets the groggy Sharpe to her feet. Diantha with a wrist clutch as she wants to get Sharpe up for a Diantha Driver but The Conductor is using her spare arm to escape with a series of back elbows. Both women face to face and Sharpe with a big boot right to the side of Diantha’s face. Bethany has hold of Diantha as she’s looking for a Counterpoint but Diantha pushes her off….
**MAAASSAAAMUUNNEEEE!!! WHAT A ROLLING ELBOW FROM DIANTHA TO THE BACK OF BETHANY’S HEAD! THAT MIGHT HAVE JUST ENDED IT AS DIANTHA HOOKS THE LEG FOR A COVER!**
Hana Oikawa: OOOOOONNNNNNNEEEEE!!!!
TWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
THHHHHRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: WOLFE BREAKS UP THE PIN WITH A DOUBLE FOOT STOMP TO THE BACK OF DIANTHA! She just saved the match for her team and immediately picks up Diantha! Wolfe with BRAINBUSTER as Diantha just got drilled. Referee Hana Oikawa is annoyed and yells at Wolfe to get out of the ring but Vivina is more focused on trying to get her partner back up. Bethany is struggling a bit but she seems to be good to go. It looks like Vivina wants to end it as she gets tagged in.
Maki Fujioka: Diantha has barely moved since getting drilled by the brainbuster but Wolfe gets her up to her feet and now onto their shoulders. Sharpe and Wolfe are looking to end it with a Massacre in B-Major. Bethany is up to the top rope and it looks like she is ready to dive… MIZUKI IS IN THE RING! The Ace is back in the match and she pulls Sharpe off the ropes, and onto her shoulder! Diantha with a reverse frankensteiner off the shoulders of Wolfe! Vivina is spiked hard and Diantha gets right back up! MIZUKI WITH A LANIKEA! Bethany is slammed down with a Fireman’s Carry Takeover! She nods to Diantha to finish as she slips out of the ring and pulls Bethany Sharpe out with her.
Asuka Kuramochi: And this leaves Diantha alone in the ring with a downed Vivina Wolfe as Diantha points to the top rope to a loud ovation. Rosso heads out of the ring and up to the top rope. Wolfe is slowly getting back up to her feet but she doesn’t see Diantha on the top rope...
**SPAAAAAACCCEEEEE TURBULEEEEEENNNNCCCCEEEEE!!!!**
WHAT A BEAUTIFUL CORKSCREW STUNNER FROM THE TOP ROPE! DIANTHA INTO THE COVER!
Hana Oikawa: OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!!
TTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTTWWWWWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOOOO!!!
TTTTTHHHHHHHHRRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!
**(DING DING DING!!)**
(“Eclipse” by Yngwie Malmsteen plays once again as Diantha rolls off her opponent. The crowd cheers for Diantha as soon she gets up to her feet. she has her arm raised in victory by Hana Oikawa. Mizuki enters the to also have her arm raised by Hana.)
Naomi Serizawa: YOUR WINNERS OF THIS MATCH! THE TEAM OF NAKATA MIZUKI AND DIAAAAANNTTTHAAAA ROSSSSSSOOOOO!!!!
Maki Fujioka: A fantastic way to open our year-end show! What a great tag team match and I guess in the end, a team of two multiple-time world champs can overcome one of the best tag teams in the world. Diantha Rosso with the help of her partner captures her first win in JET.
Asuka Kuramochi: But there were periods where it looked like Wolfegang Symphony almost had the win, unfortunately, tonight was not their night.
(Wolfegang Symphony is being helped to the back as Mizuki and Diantha shake hands. Things seem to tense up again between the two.)
Mizuki Nakata (off-mic): Soon.
Diantha Rosso (off-mic): Soon.
(Mizuki nods as she soon leaves the ring and lets Diantha soak in the praise from the crowd.)
Maki Fujioka: It seems like Mizuki still wants to see that dream match between herself and Diantha. I hope for one that we do get it before the end of the season.
Asuka Kuramochi: Only time will tell.
(Diantha bows to the crowd as the camera cuts to commercial.)
(Commercial: JET presents the 2020 Women’s Pro-Wrestling Awards! Nominees for every award to be revealed on New Year’s Eve and results from the polls to be announced at JET 45 on January 13th!)
(Camera cuts back to ringside as “Low Life” by Crobot plays and the crowd gives off a negative reaction. Jessica makes her way out from the back wearing an all-black attire and a white leather jacket.)
Naomi Serizawa: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL! INTRODUCING FIRST! FROM LEEDS, ENGLAND, UNITED KINGDOM! REPRESENTING DESPERADOS! SHE IS THE CORRUPTED LIGHT!!! JESSICAAAA RRROOOOOOOSSSSEEEEEE!!!
Maki Fujioka: This woman and her obsession to make the lives of Stephanie Matsuda and anyone close to her miserable. Her target is now Stephanie’s prized protege, Sora Todoh as Jessica cost her the opportunity to become JET World Champion.
Asuka Kuramochi: Jessica said that it was to make sure that the company doesn’t go bankrupt once Sora becomes champion but we know for a fact it’s because of spite.
(Jessica enters the ring and tosses her jacket to the side, the music soon changes to “Touch Off” by UVERworld. The crowd’s reaction changes from a negative one to a positive one as Sora makes her way out from the back wearing her trademark sky blue and white attire.)
Naomi Serizawa: AND HER OPPONENT! FROM TOKYO, JAPAN! SHE IS THE SHOOTING STAR! TOOOODDDDOOOOOOOOH SSSSOOOOOORRRRAAAAAA!!!!
Maki Fujioka: Coming off an excellent showing last night against the IJWF World Champion, the question right now is if Sora is in good health to compete tonight. Back to back matches but also dealing with jet lag, the Shooting Star could be at a disadvantage.
Asuka Kuramochi: Yeah but this year has shown that Sora can walk in with some disadvantages and still come out fighting. I’m guessing Sora will be happy to finally get her hands on Jessica Rose.
(Sora enters the ring as she is held back by Yuri Watanabe and told to head to her corner. Yuri soon signals for the bell and for the match to start.)
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Asuka Kuramochi: Yuri motions for the bell, as this match begins with a test of strength by Rose. Sora slowly locks up, but Rose quickly gets a side headlock on Sora. Rose runs to the corner and hits a Corner Springboard Bulldog! Sora quickly recovers, but Rose hits a quick Roundhouse on Sora, which is followed by a Snap Suplex. Rose manages to transition it into a Crossface.
Maki Fujioka: Rose is looking for a quick victory here against Sora, but Sora manages to get to the ropes quickly before any damage can be done. Rose breaks the hold and Sora quickly hits a Legsweep and follows it with a Standing Basement Dropkick. Sora gets Rose in a Side Headlock and lands a Running Bulldog onto Rose. You know, that move had to have been pay back for what Rose did as Sora lifts Rose back up and hits a wicked Neckbreaker. Sora gets to the top rope and hits a Diving Senton, which is followed by a Standing Double Foot Stomp. Sora is on fire as she taunts Rose to get up...Rose is on her feet now...Last Surprise! The Slingblade connects, and Sora is heading back to the top rope.
Asuka Kuramochi: Sky Twister! Sora is going for the Sky Twister...she jumps and...Rose moved out of the way and Sora crashes!
Maki Fuijoka: Smart move on Rose's part, but Rose kicks Sora over and hits a Standing Moonsault. Rose goes for a Standing Shooting Star Press, but Sora rolls out of the way. Rose tries to get on her feet, but Sora hits a Hurricanrana Driver on her! Sora drove Rose's face straight to the mat. Sora locks in the Straight Shooter! The Figure-Four Sharpshooter is locked in and Sora is wrenching back!
Asuka Kuramochi: Sora is not letting up on Rose and is barely giving her a chance to react. Rose is close to the ropes, but Sora stands up and drags Rose back to the middle of the ring. Rose manages to grab some of Sora's hair, but is told to let go. Rose does it again and even manages to hit a hammerfist strike on Sora's forehead. Sora breaks the hold as Rose hits a leg sweep of her own, knocking Sora down. Rose gets the Straight Shooter onto Sora! What is going on here?! Rose is using Sora's own finisher on her! Sora gets to the ropes and forces the break. Rose waits a second for Sora to get up before running to the ropes and...Dreaded Rose! The Springboard Cutter connects!
Yuri Watanabe : One! Two!
Asuka Kuromachi: Sora manages to kick out at two!
Maki Fujioka: Asuka, that was a close call because that could have ended the match right there. Sora is back on her feet and Rose goes for a Brazilian Roundhouse, but Sora ducks it and replies with one of her own that connects! You know, that was payback as well for Rose stealing and using Sora's own submission on her. Rose is down on one knee and Sora goes for the Greased Lightning...she lands it! The Shining wizard connects!
Asuka Kuramochi: Sora goes back on the top rope looking for the Sky Twister again and...she lands the Sky Twister! Sora did it and is covering!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two!
Asuka Kuramochi: No! Rose kicked out at two. Both Sora and Rose are on their feet as they begin trading elbow strikes back and forth. Rose manages to hit a Roundhouse and Sora follows suit. This match has become the concept of whatever you can do, I can do attitude. Sora hits a stiff knife Edge Chop and Rose answers back with one of her own. The two begin trading chops back and forth before Rose hits a hard slap across Sora's face and Sora replies with one of her own. Rose has had enough and manages to hit a lightning fast Brazilian Roundhouse and follows it with a Shot of Rose! Sora is down, but Rose lifts the motionless Sora up as she goes for the Rose Trigger…
'Oh La La' by Run the Jewels begins to play and Jessica looks at the entrance ramp. Right there on the ramp is no other than Stephanie Matsuda herself!
Asuka & Maki: What?! What is she doing here?! Jessica is paying more attention to Cloud, but Cloud lets a snarky smile as Sora is on her feet and nails Jessica with the Shinryu Suplex
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Three!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(“Touch Off” plays as Sora has her hand raised by the referee, she soon leaves the ring and up the ramp. Jessica is shocked and it soon turns to anger as Stephanie just smirks. Jessica begins to slam her fist on the mat as Sora celebrates with her mentor who raises her hand up in the air.)
Naomi Serizawa: YOUR WINNNER OF THIS MATCH!!! TOOOOODDDDDOOOOOHHHHH SSSSSOOOOOORA!!!!
Maki Fujioka: Call it karma or whatever you want but with the assistance of her mentor, Sora Todoh gets her revenge against Jessica who looks absolutely furious.
Asuka Kuramochi: It serves her right! Cloud wasn’t there at the side of her protege at Rise Up New Generation but she is here tonight for her.
(The camera cuts to a quick intermission before returning to ringside.)
(Camera cuts to ringside as “The only thing I know for real (instrumental) ” by Jamie Christopherson begins to play. Out from the back arrive Julia Zhang and Q as both get a negative reaction from the crowd.)
Naomi Serizawa: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL AND IT IS FOR THE JET TAG TEAM CHAMPIONSHIP! INTRODUCING FIRST! REPRESENTING DESPERADOS! THEY ARE THE TEAM OF Q AND JUUUULIIIIAAA ZHAAAANNNG!!!!
Maki Fujioka: The first title match of the show and it’s the JET Tag Team Championships. DESPERADOS’ Q and Julia Zhang are the ones set to step up and challenge the champions. Both of them made it clear that they were next up after a beatdown on the champions following their defense last month.
Asuka Kuramochi: Both of them are skilled competitors and Q is one of the best pure athletes in JET and maybe even in wrestling all together right now.
(The challengers enter the ring as soon the music changes to “The Phoenix” by Fall Out Boy. The crowd’s mood turns from boos to cheers as the champions make their way out from the back wearing matching attires and the titles around their shoulders.)
Naomi Serizawa: AND THEIR OPPONENTS! TOGETHER THEY ARE THE JET TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS! THE TEAM OF TAAALLLIAAAA AREAAAANNOOO AND MEGAAAANNNN EEEEENNNDDDERS!!!
Maki Fujioka: The unlikely team who have now been champions for more than two months. Both Talia and Megan have proven they aren’t a fluke by successfully defending their titles against former champions Wolfegang Symphony.
Asuka Kuramochi: And now they have a challenge that might be the toughest ones. If they lose and DESPERADOS walk away with the tag belts, it might end up causing a chain reaction and give SAIKO and JUNKO some momentum knowing that they can walk out as winners in their respective title matches.
(The champions hand their belts to Yuri Watanabe who raises them in the air before passing them to Naomi and asking for the bell to be rung.)
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Asuka Kuramochi: With the sound of the bell, this championship match is underway, and it looks like it is going to be Talia Areano and Julia Zhang. Julia and Talia quickly lock up, and have a struggle before Julia breaks the lock up and kicks Talia in the stomach as she begins planting her with a fury of clinched knee strikes, which is followed by a Bridging German Suplex.
Maki Fujioka: There is no count, Asuka, as Talia was able to break the bridge immediately. Talia is back up and locks up again with Julia, but this time she is the one that breaks the lock up and nails a Short-Arm Roundhouse Kick to Julia. Julia is a bit shaken by that kick, and Talia applies a Front Facelock, jumps, and twists. Talia has planted Julia with a Standing Tornado DDT. This has to be payback for what Julia did earlier. Talia covers.
Yuri Watanabe : One!
Asuka Kuramochi: No! Julia is able to kick out, and is quick to her feet as she begins a series of shoot kicks on Talia. Julia finishes it with a nasty looking Spin Kick. Julia grabs a hold of the dazed Talia and slings her into her corner, and tags in Q. Q gets in the ring and Julia whips Talia towards her as Q hits a Savate Kick.
Maki Fujioka: Q follows it up with a Running Bulldog. She plants Talia, but she lifts her back looking to finish this. Q begins laying into Talia with a series of Shoot Kicks and goes for a Short-Arm Clothesline, but Talia ducks it! She fires back with own series of Shoot Kicks and follows those up with a Roundhouse! She isn't done yet as Julia is now kneeling, and Talia nails a Shining Wizard! Solar Shower! Talia just hit the Solar Shower on the laid out Q!
Yuri Watanabe : One! Two!
Asuka Kuramochi: No! Q just barely kicked out in the nick of time! We could have seen the end of the match right there! Talia is wasting time as she tags in Megan Enders and Megan rushes to Q! She begins bombing Q with a flurry of Jabs and Hooks! Q is lending over as Megan begins throwing Axe Handles to the back of Q! Q is kneeling before Megan as Megan taunts Q to stand up and fight. Q slows raise to her feet as Megan hits the ropes and...Spears Q right into the mat!
Maki Fujioka: Q hit the mat hard! Megan grabs hold of Q...and she nails a gnarly Powerbomb and floats over into a Jackknife Pin! This could be the end here, Asuka!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Thr--
Asuka & Maki: No!
Maki Fujioka: Q kicked out at the last dead second she could have! Megan's face is in awe as she was sure that was the end! Q tries to get to Julia, but Megan picks the leg and begins applying an Ankle Lock as she drags Q to the center of the ring. Q is struggling and Megan is working the Ankle looking for the tap out victory. Q is close to the ropes, but Megan pulls her back and drops to the ground...she applies a Kneebar along with the Ankle Lock! This could be it right here!
Asuka Kuramochi: You may be right Maki, as it seems there is no way Q can escape that hold unless she does reach the ropes. Q is still struggling as it seems like Megan is refusing to let go of the hold. What is this!? Q has made it to the ropes! She finally gets the break she needed! Referee Yuri begins her count to break the hold, and Megan lets go before the final count. Q is slow to her feet as the damage to Q's leg is showing as she is limping on it. Q does manage to tag in Julia, who is ready to make Megan pay for what she did.
Maki Fujioka: Julia unleashes her rage on Megan as she strikes Megan with a series of Palm Strikes! She follows that up with a stiff looking Spinning Backfist! Megan is dazed, and Julia takes advantage of it by kitting a Running High Knee to Megan! Julia lifts Megan up and lands a Falcon Arrow!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Thr--
Asuka Kuramochi: No! Megan is able to kick out just like before at the nick of time! Julia is visibly pissed at this as she can't understand why these women just can't stay down. Julia looks to hit another Spinning Backfist to Megan, but Megan has it scouted as she ducks! Megan answers back with a Crescent Kick! Julia, now stunned, is slung into Megan's corner as Megan charges at her and nails a Corner Big Boot across Julia's face! Megan tags in Talia. Talia gets on the top rope as Megan lifts Julia up for a Powerbomb! Flying Crossbody and Powerbomb combination from Megan and Talia!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two!
Maki & Asuka: Julia is able to kick out at just a two count from that!
Maki Fujioka: Julia must have a strong will to want those belts because anyone surely would have been pinned. Julia and Talia begin trading strikes back and forth. Matching the other woman with strike per strike. Talia goes to the ropes, but Julia follows and hits a Front Dropkick onto Talia against the ropes! Julia quickly follows that with a Swinging Neckbreaker! Talia is on the ground grabbing her head and Julia goes to lift Talia up, but Talia catches Julia! Talia rolls up Julia!
Yuri Watanabe: One!
Asuka Kuramochi: Julia quickly kicks out! As the two women stare at one another. You can sense the tension as both of these teams are refusing to give the other the upper hand. They begin a test of strength, but as soon as Julia has a hold on Talia's arm she quickly slings her to her corner and tags in Q. Julia lifts Talia up and hits a Falcon Arrow and Q follows it up with Exploder Suplex!
Maki Fujioka: Wait! Q is lifting Talia back up and tags in Julia! What are they going for?! Julia lifts Talia in a Brainbuster position and Q is on the top rope! Q hits a Middle Dropkick and Julia hits the Brainbuster!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Thr--
Maki & Asuka: What!? No!? Talia has managed to kick out!
Asuka Kuromachi: Maki, I have no clue what it is going to take for either team to get to the victory, but it has to be something.
Maki Fujioka: Wait Asuka! Talia has Irish Whipped Julia into her corner and Julia slumps to a seated position. Talia hits the Rush Hour! Talia tags in Megan, and Megan grabs a hold of Julia's arm to yank her up! Megan goes to Irish Whip Julia, but she pulls Julia back and lifts her up...Spinebuster! Megan nailed a perfect Spinebuster onto Julia! She turns her over and begins applying a Calf Crusher Julia!
Asuka Kuramochi: Talia has charged at Q, who was trying to break the hold, with a Spear! She lifts her up and lands the Slice of Heaven! Talia has hit her finisher and she rolls Q out!
Asuka & Maki: Wait...Julia gets to the ropes and breaks the hold!? Megan is taken by this, but Julia hits another Falcon Arrow onto Megan, and Talia is trying to interfere, but Julia hits a Low Superkick and follows it with Flip the Switch! Julia rolls Taila out and throws Megan into the corner as she is telling Q to get back up on the apron! Q tags in and Julia hits a Brainbuster and Q...Q's Lament! The Bridging German Suplex connects!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Three!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(“The Only Thing I Know for Real” plays once again as Q lets go of the bridge and lets out a sigh of relief. Zhang slides in and immediately hugs her tag partner. The crowd let out their hate as the boos poor in.)
Naomi Serizawa: YOUR WINNERS AND NEEEEEWWW JET TAG TEAM CHAMPIONS!!! Q AND JJJUUULLLIIIAAA ZHANG!!!
Maki Fujioka: They did it! DESPERADOS were able to overcome the tag champs and capture another belt for the faction!
Asuka Kuramochi: Well that’s one title match for DESPERADOS! Hopefully Enders and Areano will stick around as a team and won’t see this loss as a big hit to their partnership.
(The final shot before the commercial is Zhang and Q raising their tag belts in the air.)
Commercial Break:
(In the background, Marty Friedman’s “Perfect World” can be heard.)
Voice Over: Three days of action! Collision Course gets more violent with the arrival of Slaughterhouse Wrestling! A new Queen Of The World is waiting to be crowned! Find out on February 12th-14th, 2020!

(The lights dim at the sound of “She Rules The Battlefield” by Yuki Kajiura. Masumi in a blue oni mask and garb comes out with her pink oni dressed manager Narumi. Masumi takes a knee at the top of the ramp to pay respects, as Narumi dances around her in circles throwing salt and confetti. They then head to the ring, Narumi requests the second rope be pulled down for them as they enter the ring and take off their masks.)
Naomi Serizawa: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL AND IT IS FOR THE RISEGP TITLE MATCH CONTRACT! INTRODUCING FIRST, THE CHALLENGER! FROM SHINJUKU, JAPAN! SHE IS THE ONI OF SHINJUKU! TSUUUUTSUUUMIIIIII MASUMIIIIIIII!!!!
Maki Fujioka: Out first is the challenger, Tsutsumi’s motto during the lead up for this match was simple. “I can do it once, I can do it again”. She defeated Midori Miyamoto back in their RISE Grand Prix and this is why she is here to challenge Midori for her title match contract.
Asuka Kuramochi: We both know how amazing Tsutsumi is but something to note is her record at PPVs. Despite being a part of the JET roster for less than a year, her record is not a good one and her opponent is arguably the best wrestler in JET right now. There is a clear difference when Midori competes in a tournament like the RISE Grand Prix and Midori when she’s in a big match like these and Tsutsumi will need to bring out her absolute best.
(Masumi heads to her corner as Narumi hypes her but Masumi remains stoic. Soon the music changes to “Ashes” by Lynch and the crowd erupts in cheers. Midori Miyamoto holding her prized briefcase makes her way down to the ring. Once she enters the ring, she begins to pose by roundhouse kicking the air and raising her briefcase for the crowd and her opponent to see.)
Naomi Serizawa: AND HER OPPONENT! FROM SACRAMENTO, CALIFORNIA, UNITED STATES! SHE IS THE WINNER OF THE 2020 RISE GP AND THE HYBRID DRAGON!! MIIIIIYAAAAAAMMMMOOOOOTTTTOOOOOO MIIIIDOOOORRRRIIIII!
Maki Fujioka: As we get closer and closer to April 11th, there is more pressure on Midori to not lose her briefcase especially after what she went through to win it in the first place. Her opponent did win their first encounter but now, the stakes are much bigger than just two points in a tournament. The main event slot of Cinderella Story 15 is on the line!
Asuka Kuramochi: And Midori Miyamoto wants to main event Cinderella Story once again, it would mean that her redemption would be complete. She has to face someone who might just be better than her at strikes and we will need to see how Midori overcomes that.
(Midori hands her briefcase to Yuri Watanabe who raises it in and passes it to Naomi Serizawa before asking for the bell to be rung.)
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
Asuka Kuromachi: Yuri motions for the bell, as this title match begins as Midori and Masumi begin exchanging a series of Knife-Edge Chops and Open Palm Strikes. Midori manages to stun Masumi by nailing a Roundhouse Kick and follows it with a Snap Brainbuster! Midori lifts Masumi back up quickly and is looking for the Shattercryst, but Masumi ducks the Jumping Roundhouse! Masumi answers back with the Master Sword to the back of Midori's head! The Rolling Elbow connected hard!
Maki Fujioka: Masumi has Midori in her sights as she is looking to end this quickly. Masumi goes for Sunset Densetsu, but Midori ducks the Tornado Kick! Midori and Masumi are staring at the other having to rethink their strategy as both were looking for a quick win here tonight. Midori offers Masumi a test of strength, but Masumi is weary of it as locks one hand. It’s a trap as Midori pulls Masumi in towards her and lands a Short-Arm Lariat! Midori keeps the hold as she transitions it into a Backdrop Driver! Masumi is down, but Midori manages to get her to a kneeling position as she hits the ropes and lands a hard Sliding Knee Strike!
Asuka Kuramochi: Masumi is out, but Midori doesn't seem to care as she hits a German Suplex...Catalyst Shift! Midori lands it and bridges!
Yuri Watanabe : One! Two!
Maki Fuijoka: Masumi managed to kick out at two! Masumi is quick to her feet and lands a brutal knee strike on Midori. Midori is stunned as she lands an Over-the-Shoulder Arm Drag, but keeps the hold and hits a Standing Leg Drop on her arm! Masumi now has Midori's arm in a Cross Armbar! Midori is in pain, but she gets her foot on the rope forcing the break.
Asuka Kuramochi: Good move on Masumi's part, Midori quickly knew what she had to do. Midori is up and grabbing her arm, but Masumi hits a Spinning Heel Kick! Master Sword! Masumi is making sure to not let up on Midori as Masumi hits a Spinning Side Hammerfist to the side of Midori's face! Midori is barely able to stand, but Masumi grabs her by the hair and taunts her as she hits the Tiger Claw! Midori is grabbing her throat as she is trying to catch her breath, but Masumi wastes no time as she nails the Sunset Densetsu! Wait! She lands another one!
Yuri Watanabe : One! Two!
Asuka Kuromachi: Midori manages to kick out at two!
Maki Fujioka: Asuka, that was a close call because that could have ended the match right there. Midori is back on her feet as unleashes her anger on Masumi by nailing a series of Open Palm Strikes and BURNING! Midori keeps the assault going as she hits a Standing Cutter and a Release German Suplex! Masumi was thrown into the turnbuckles and her head hit the top turnbuckle. Masumi is hit with a Cornered Single High Knee, and Masumi follows flat to the ground!
Asuka: Kuromachi: Midori is on the top rope and lands Double Foot Stomp! Midori is back up there and lands a Diving Senton! Midori, now on the ground, hits a Standing Moonsault! Midori lifts Masumi back up and hits a Snap Brainbuster...Midori doesn't cover as she lifts Masumi up and lands the Shattercryst! The Jumping Roundhouse connected!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two!
Asuka Kuramochi: No! Masumi managed to kick out at two. Both women are tried and begin trading power strikes back and forth, and both women are putting everything they have left in those strikes. Both women are on their feet, but are braced against the other as they taunt each other. Masumi hits a stiff Elbow as Midori replies with a Elbow of her own...Masumi goes for another Elbow, but Midori ducks it and hits a Headbutt on Masumi, which is followed by a Lariat. Both women are now done, and I am sure they are trying to think of what to do next.
Asuka & Maki: What?! Midori is crawling over to Masumi...Soul Reaver! Midori locks in the Anaconda Vise tight on Masumi! Masumi is trying to get to the ropes, but Midori is wrenching back and has a mad look on her face! Masumi is struggling, but it seems like she is fading away! Masumi taps! Masumi is tapping out!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(“Ashes” plays again as Midori lets go of the hold and breathes a sigh of relief. She is slow to her feet but she gets her arm raised by Yuri Watanabe and Midori is handed back her briefcase.)
Naomi Serizawa: YOUR WINNER AND STILL THE HOLDER OF THE RISE GRAND PRIX TITLE MATCH CONTRACT!!!! MMMMIIIIIYYYYYAAAAAMMMOOOOTTOOOOOO MIDOOOORRIIIIII!!!!
Maki Fujioka: And the April 11th dream lives on for Midori! WHAT A BATTLE! Midori might have just faced her biggest challenge and she just overcame it. Nothing can be taken away from Masumi, she was able to keep up with one of the pillars of JET.
Asuka Kuramochi: That is true and she almost had Midori beaten on multiple occasions. Masumi might have fallen short but Midori is now just four months away from her Cinderella Story redemption.
(Masumi is being helped up to her feet and both her and Midori share a handshake. With the help of her sister, Masumi is helped out of the ring. The camera soon cuts elsewhere.)
[INTERMISSION]
(Camera cuts to Naomi Serizawa as she is ready to go for the next match of the evening.)
Naomi Serizawa: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS SCHEDULED FOR ONE FALL AND IT IS FOR THE JET NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP!
(“Pa Pa Ya” by BABYMETAL feat. F.HERO plays and the crowd begins to boo. SAIKO makes her out from the back holding a smaller replica of her Tributary Shield Trophy. The Mob Psycho is wearing an all black attire as she has her signature sadistic smile on her face.)
Naomi Serizawa: INTRODUCING FIRST! SHE IS THE CHALLENGER! FROM KABUKICHO, TOKYO, JAPAN! SHE IS THE WINNER OF THE 2020 MISS MANAMI TRIBUTARY SHIELD! THE MOOOOOBBB PSYCHO! SSAAAAAIIIIKKKOOOOOO!!!
Maki Fujioka: And there she is! DESPERADOS’ second-in-command and the number 1 contender for the National Championship. Holding that Tributary Shield means you can cash in for a title match but you must give the champion a notice and SAIKO give her notice in her own way. She attacked champion Rio Kurokawa after her title defense and declared herself the next challenger.
Asuka Kuramochi: After Q and Zhang won the tag belts, it’s up to SAIKO to keep up the momentum and capture the National Championship but her opponent might just be the most dangerous competitor in all of Japan and maybe even the world.
(SAIKO is directed to her corner as the music soon changes to "Deracine" by The GazettE. The crowd gives off a mixed reaction for Rio Kurokawa who is wearing her trademark red and black attire. The National Champion is around her shoulder as she makes her over to the ring.)
Naomi Serizawa: AND HER OPPONENT! FROM SETSU, OSAKA, JAPAN! SHE IS THE JET NATIONAL CHAMPION! NEON BLLLLAAACCCKKKK!!!! KUROKAWAAAAAAAAAAA RIIIOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: Speak of the devil! Rio Kurokawa has pretty much cemented her legacy as the National Champion since winning the belt back at Cinderella Story 14. Three successful defenses through her eight months or so as champion.
Maki Fujioka: But this might be the first challenger to really challenge her in the department of being dangerous. These two will give a brutal war, I can guarantee it.
(Rio Kurokawa enters the ring and raises her championship for everyone including SAIKO to see. She soon passes the title to Yuri Watanabe who passes it to Naomi Serizawa before asking for the bell to be rung.)
(DING DING DING!)
Asuka Kuramochi: Yuri signals for the bell, as the JET National Title match begins. SAIKO quickly hits a Running Knee on Rio, and quickly whips her into the ropes, lands a Front Dropkick, and she follows it with a Enzuigiri. SAIKO goes for a Standing Moonsault, but Rio rolls out of the way quickly and SAIKO crashes on the mat. Rio takes this opportunity and manages to lock in a Single Leg Boston Crab. SAIKO manages to turn to her side and land a stiff side hammerfist to Rio's kidney forcing her to break the hold!
Maki Fujioka: Rio may have to rethink her strategy for this match, Asuka because SAIKO is something different from what she is normally used to. Both women hit the ropes and go for a Clothesline, but Rio and SAIKO both duck the others move as they stare at each other. That doesn't last long as SAIKO feints a Roundhouse and lands a Superkick to Rio's knee as SAIKO nails another Enzuigiri. SAIKO goes for a bottom rope Moonsault, but Rio moves out of the way and quickly gets the Āsuburēkā locked in! The Inverted Cloverleaf with Bodyscissors is locked in as SAIKO crawls to the ropes!
Asuka Kuramochi: Rio had it scouted, Maki, and now Rio is back in control. SAIKO is close to the ropes, but Rio undoes the body scissors and drags her back to the middle of the ring. SAIKO again is trying to get to the ropes to break the hold, but Rio is wrenching the legs of SAIKO. SAIKO does, somehow, manage to get to the ropes, and Rio is forced to break the hold. SAIKO is up and Rio runs towards looking for Crossbody, but SAIKO reverses it into a Tilt-A-Whirl Tombstone Piledriver! Where in the world did SAIKO pull that move from?!
Maki Fujioka: I have no clue, Asuka, but it was smart on SAIKO's part as she hits a Springboard Moonsault onto Rio. SAIKO goes to top rope, and LUCIOLA SPLASH! SAIKO nailed the High-Angle Frog Splash onto Rio, but she isn't finished as she lifts up Rio and nails the RED ROOM! Wait!? SAIKO isn't going for the pin...she is going to bottom rope...Moonsault! Second Rope Moonsault! If she lands another she would have hit Rio with the MOB PSYCHO MOONSAULTS! SAIKO goes for the final one, but Rio moves out of the way and quickly gets a La Magistral pin!
Yuri Watanabe: One!
Asuka Kuromachi: SAIKO manages to kick out at one as Rio begins a series of elbow strikes on SAIKO and finishes it with a Rolling Elbow. Rio follows it up with Shokubai tsūkō-ryō, Ripcord Knee Strike, connected, but Rio pays SAIKO back by hitting the Umeda Skyline! The Double Jump Moonsault from Rio connects! This has to be it, but Rio isn't going for the pin just yet as she lifts SAIKO and hits a Everest German Suplex...she maintains the hold trainstions it into the Ketsueki Toll!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two!
Asuka and Maki: No! SAIKO somehow kicks out at two!
Maki Fujioka: Rio was sure that would have put SAIKO away, but Rio should know that SAIKO isn't giving up that easy. SAIKO is slow to get to her feet as Rio thinks of what to do next. Rio begins charging towards SAIKO looking for a Running Roundhouse, but SAIKO ducks it and gets up quickly to get behind Rio and nails a German Suplex of her own! She trainstions it into a High-Angle Back Suplex! SAIKO is showing Rio why she shouldn't underestimate her as she lifts her up and lands another Tombstone Piledriver! Rio is down, and SAIKO takes a quick breather before locking in a Dragon Sleeper on Rio! SAIKO is lifting Rio up and drops her onto her knee! That modified Dragon Sleeper Neckbreaker looked brutal, but I am sure that was SAIKO's intent.
Asuka Kuramochi: SAIKO doesn't seem to be done with Rio as applies THE TEKE-TEKE! SAIKO has the Crossface Chickenwing locked in, and Rio is trying to get to ropes. SAIKO manages to move Rio away from the ropes as she tightens the grip. Rio is close to ropes, but SAIKO hits Crossface Chickenwing Suplex on Rio! SAIKO is stopping Rio at everything she is trying to do or get going! SAIKO hits a Gamengiri on Rio as she, now dazed, is woozy on her feet, but SAIKO lands a Step-Up Enzuigiri. Rio is down and SAIKO is looking at the ropes again…
Maki Fujioka: SAIKO can be looking for the MOB PSYCHO MOONSAULTS, but we know what happens every time she has...she nailed them! SAIKO landed all three Moonsaults on Rio! SAIKO is lifting the lifeless Rio up...RED ROOM! SAIKO isn't done yet as she hits a brutal Neckbreak Slam on Rio! SAIKO could have gone for the pin there, but I think SAIKO is having fun damaging Rio. If I am being honest, Asuka, I think SAIKO wants to damage Rio more so than actually win the belt at this point.
Asuka Kuramochi: Maki, you might be right on that. SAIKO grabs Rio by her hair, lifts her up and taunts her. SAIKO goes for a Elbow strike, Rio counters it with an Open Palm Uppercut. Rio unleashes a fury of Open Palm Strikes, which is followed by Rolling Elbow. Rio goes for a Everest German Suplex and sends SAIKO landing hard on the mat as Rio maintains the hold! Rio hits another German Suplex, but it is transitioned into the Ketsueki Toll! Rio isn't bridging as hits another and another! Three rolling Dragon Suplexes with the final being bridged!
Yuri Watanbe: One! Two!
Maki & Asuka: No! SAIKO kicks out at the last second!
Maki Fujioka: SAIKO and Rio are both on their feet as the two just stare at each other. It seems like neither one is willing to give up as the two begin slapping each other. Rio and SAIKO hit the other one last time as they go back to staring at each other as they both have given the other everything, but nothing seems to work. Rio hits a Short-Arm Lariat on SAIKO, and maintains the wristlock...Shokubai tsūkō-ryō! SAIKO is out, but Rio lifts her up onto her shoulder in a Fireman's Position, she is looking for the Kaze de asobu...
Maki & Asuka: No! SAIKO manages to slip out and hits a Enzui Jumping Knee Strike to the back of Rio's head! SAIKO runs to the ropes and...FLIP THE SWITCH! SAIKO nails it and now Rio is out! SAIKO grabs Rio and flips her off...she is placing her on the middle rope...DEATH BY FIREFLIES! DEATH BY FIREFLIES! SAIKO covers!
Yuri Watanabe: One! Two! Three!
(Ding! Ding! Ding!)
(“PA PA YA” plays once again as the crowd loudly boo. SAIKO is smiling as she is handed her new prize and looks at it. The young girls at ringside enter the ring and help the former champion out of the ring.)
Naomi Serizawa: YOUR WINNER AND NNNEEEEEEEWWWW JET NATIONAL CHAMPION! SAAAAAAAIIIIIKKKKOOOOOOO!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: DESPERADOS are now two for two in title matches tonight. The first ever title change in the National Championship’s history as the inaugural reign is over by the hands of The Mob Psycho. I’m starting to be scared that DESPERADOS might complete the full sweep and walk out of this event with three JET championships under their possession.
Maki Fujioka: That aside, what a moment of personal glory for SAIKO! From innocent firefly to sadistic secret weapon and now a CHAMPION! Rio Kurokawa has nothing to be ashamed of, she was champion for 274 days and fought off an incredible list of challengers. Sooner or later, a title reign has to end. But now the National Championship, JET’s division for pure strong style has been taken over by a deathmatch wrestler!
(SAIKO smiles as she raises her championship high in the air for all to see. She soon begins to say something and it’s barely caught on mic.)
SAIKO (off-mic): Mizuki! Be my first challenger!
(SAIKO laughs as the camera cuts to an intermission.)
[Intermission]
(The show returns from intermission as Naomi Serizawa is ready to go for the next match of the evening.)
Naomi Serizawa: THE FOLLOWING CONTEST IS YOUR SEMI-MAIN OF THE EVENING WITH A 30-MINUTE TIME LIMIT AND IT IS FOR THE JET ACADEMY CHAMPIONSHIP!
(Soon “Dalla Dalla” by ITZY begins to play to a negative reaction from the crowd. The challenger NAMI makes her way out from the back wearing white and red attire. She is accompanied as always by her bodyguard Oni Ushi.)
Naomi Serizawa: INTRODUCING FIRST! FROM OSAKA, JAPAN! ACCOMPANIED TO THE RING BY ONI USHI, SHE IS THE CHALLENGER AND THE GOLDEN QUEEN! NNAAAAAAAAMMMMMMIIIIIIIIII!!!!
Maki Fujioka: Making her way to the ring first is the challenger and what a start to her career has NAMI had. She made her debut just four months ago and now she is in the semi-main spot for JET’s Year-End show. NAMI has been nothing short of impressive but she will need to be way more than impressive against her foe.
Asuka Kuramochi: NAMI will need to dig deep, her opponent is the always-resilient Academy Champion. If she doesn’t pull out her best for this match, her chances of winning are going to be slim.
(NAMI enters the ring and she is directed to her corner by Hana Oikawa. Soon “Dalla Dalla” is replaced by Night Ranger’s “Color of Your Smile”. IZM makes her way out from the back donning a silver and black attire along with a long red and black entrance jacket. The JET Academy Championship around her waist. The champion is also accompanied by her tag partner Saki Misawa.)
Naomi Serizawa: AND HER OPPONENT! REPRESENTING THE NEW GENERATION! FROM TOKYO, JAPAN! ACCOMPANIED TO THE RING BY SAKI MISAWA! SHE IS THE 19TH AND DEFENDING JET ACADEMY CHAMPION! THE ERUPTING SPIRIT! IIIZZZZUUUUUMMMMIIIIII!!!!!
Maki Fujioka: Well there she is, ladies and gentlemen! The young star that many consider as JET’s Future Ace and the current JET Academy Champion. Just a month ago, IZM had one of the best bouts of the year against rival Momoko Honda and now walks in with the opportunity to get her third successful defense. She could head into the new year as Academy Champion and NAMI is the final obstacle.
Asuka Kuramochi: It could perfectly cement her reign if she can overcome NAMI and truly solidify her spot as the future Ace of JET.
(IZM enters the ring and NAMI immediately gets in front of her. Referee Hana Oikawa has to get NAMI away back to her corner. IZM takes off the JET Academy Champion around her waist and raises it high in the air for everyone to see before passing the belt to Hana Oikawa who raises it in the air. Hana passes the belt to Naomi Serizawa who exits the ring and the referee signals for the bell.)
(DING DING DING!)
Maki Fujioka: And here we go! The semi-main of Nagoya Spotlight is underway and you can see NAMI’s height advantage over IZM but the experience advantage has to go to the champion. Both competitors have faced off before and in their RISE Grand Prix block match this past September where IZM won but you can definitely say that both competitors have grown since then. NAMI was only in the second month of her career at that point and IZM hadn’t yet truly become the undisputed future of JET.
Asuka Kuramochi: That’s true as both champion and challengers circle the ring. They finally lock up in a collar-elbow tie-up, despite having the strength advantage over NAMI, it’s IZM who is being pushed back into the ropes. Referee Hana Oikawa wants NAMI to break the tie-up and she does so without any warning tricks. It seems that NAMI is gonna be clean and won’t try to pull anything cheap.
Maki Fujioka: You speak a bit too soon there, Asuka as NAMI with a smack right across the face of IZM. NAMI pulls away laughing and the look on IZM’s face. She seems to be both annoyed and angry at that. The champion responds to the slap with a stiff chop right to the chest of NAMI who might be regretting her decision of smacking IZM in the face. Another knife edge chop from IZM and again it was a loud one. NAMI is holding her chest in pain, she gets to feel the wrath of the most powerful strike in JET. IZM lands one more chop as NAMI soon rolls out of the ring. It seems she wants a break and Oni Ushi is checking up on NAMI to see if she is alright. IZM now leaves the ring to bring NAMI back in but it seems Ushi won’t allow it as she steps in the middle of IZM and NAMI.
Asuka Kuramochi: It seems that Saki makes her way over to back up her tag partner but NAMI slides back into the ring. IZM soon gets back on the apron to get back in the ring. NAMI takes advantage and nails IZM with a DDT just as she was through the ropes. A cover now by the challenger.
Hana Oikawa: OOOONNNNNEEEE!!! TWWWO
Maki Fujika: IZM kicks out before the two count but NAMI immediately gets the champion locked in a front headlock. She has the champ trapped and is starting to wear down IZM but IZM is a bit too strong as she pushes herself back up to her feet. NAMI is trying her best to keep IZM down but IZM now with some well-placed shots right to the ribs and she is able to escape but she is right next to the ropes. Oni Ushi with a well placed cheap shot right to the back of IZM with a kendo stick! Oh, what the hell!?! Hana Oikawa was focused on NAMI and didn’t see the cheap shot. IZM turns around holding her back in pain as she begins to yell at Oni Ushi. The champion doesn’t notice NAMI from behind who drills her with a backstabber! Another pin attempt from NAMI.
Hana Oikawa: OOOONNNNNEEEE!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOO!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: IZM kicks out again and NAMI immediately turns her opponent onto her stomach. She nails a double knee drop right to the back of IZM, it seems that the challenger has found an area to target as she continues to drive her knee right into the back of IZM. NAMI now applies a bow-and-arrow submission with her knees fully pushing right into the back of IZM. A smart hold by the challenger IZM isn’t in the best position right now. NAMI is continuing to bend IZM’s body in half as the referee is checking with her if she wants to give up but the champion who is resilient as ever is refusing to give up. She isn’t going to give up that easily, even if she is dealing with much pain.
Maki Fujioka: I guess NAMI understands that as well as she drops the bow-and-arrow submission attempt and gets IZM up to her feet. NAMI with an elbow strike right to the back of IZM. The look on the face of the champion tells the whole story as NAMI nails another elbow strike to the back. She wants to go for a third elbow strike but IZM with a back elbow right to the face of NAMI. NAMI is sent a bit reeling back from the impact of the elbow. IZM is on the offensive as she goes for a chop but NAMI ducks and slips behind, she nails a kick to the back. NAMI now lands a BIG backdrop suplex as IZM lands hard on her back! A cover now by the challenger.
Hana Oikawa: OOOONNNNEEE!!! TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: IZM kicks out as NAMI is not in a good mood! The challenger now with some disrespect she nails a slap to the back of IZM’s head as she was getting up and she might end up just paying for that as IZM immediately rises up to her feet with anger in her eyes. IZM with an elbow right to the jaw of NAMI and the impact of the strike has the challenger staggering back into the corner.
Maki Fujioka: IZM is fired up as she looks up at the crowd and raises her right arm high up in the air! The crowd gives off a positive reaction as she begins to fire chops and the champion is unloading on NAMI with ferocious machine gun chops! The crowd is behind IZM with every single quick chop as the champion continues to light up NAMI’s chest with her signature strike. The challenger seems to be in pain as IZM finally nails one last big chop and pulls NAMI out of the corner. IZM now with a beautiful bridging Northern Lights Suplex!
Hana Oikawa: OOOOONNNNNNEEE!!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: NAMI kicks out but the champion isn’t worried at all. IZM gets her challenger up and has NAMI now up onto her shoulders. She seems to be getting up for the I-K Driver but NAMI is fighting out of it and immediately rolls through and escapes the Air Raid Crash attempt. NAMI has IZM’s shoulders down but even before Hana can get into position for the count, NAMI immediately gets a hold of the champion’s legs and turns her around into a Boston crab. The submission is locked by NAMI as IZM is trapped in the middle of the ring in this hold. IZM seems to be in pain as Hana Oikawa is asking her if she wants to give up.
Maki Fujioka: And it doesn’t seem like it, even though a great Boston crab like the one NAMI has locked in is really painful to the back, it seems that IZM isn’t going to quit, continuing to show that always amazing fighting spirit. IZM is starting to crawl her way to the ropes and she is getting there slowly but surely. NAMI sees this but she can’t stop IZM who is able to pull herself to the bottom rope and get a hold of it while still being trapped in Boston crab!
Asuka Kuramochi: Referee Hana Oikawa is demanding that NAMI gives up the hold but it seems like she isn’t letting go. Oikawa begins her count now.
Hana Oikawa: NAMI BREAK THE HOLD! ONE! TWO! THREE!! FOUR!
Asuka Kuramochi: And NAMI breaks the hold before the five count. She seems to be getting in the face of the official, that’s not a great thing to do. Meanwhile, IZM is trying to get herself up to her feet and using the ropes to do so but any attempt at mounting an offense is stopped by NAMI who nails a kick right to the back of IZM.
Maki Fujioka: The challenger is still in control as immediately nails a big slam near the corner and begins to climb up the turnbuckles, reaching the top. She’s in position and so is the downed IZM. NAMI LEAPS FOR A DIVING DOUBLE FOOT STOMP… BUT IZM IS ABLE TO ROLL AWAY JUST IN THE TIME! IZM is quickly up to her feet as NAMI is rushing in at her… JUMPING HIGH KNEE FROM IZM! She just caught her challenger right in the face with that knee and NAMI is stunned as the champion quickly takes advantage and nails NAMI with a belly-to-back suplex! IZM has the bridge and Oikawa makes the count.
Hana Oikawa: OOOONNNNNNEEEE!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: NAMI kicks out and IZM is now the one on the offensive but she is still holding her back in pain. IZM now gets NAMI up in a crucifix powerbomb, there is some struggle from NAMI but she isn’t able to escape. The crowd is cheering for IZM as she goes for the powerbomb! DANGER BOMB----NO NAMI WITH AN INCREDIBLE HURRICANRANA COUNTER! That was amazing athleticism from the challenger as IZM is down to her knees and the challenger rushes in! NAMI WITH A QUICK VELVET BLOOD FROM OUT OF NOWHERE! A cover by the challenger!
Hana Oikawa: OOOOOONNNNNNEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!! THHHREEE---
Maki Fujioka: IZM kicks out as the crowd cheers and NAMI is looking a bit frustrated. IZM is rolling to the outside just as NAMI is arguing with referee Oikawa about the count. Saki checks on her best friend and IZM seems a bit sluggish right now. NAMI now goes back on the offensive as she stands on the apron waiting for the champion to get up. The champion is back to her feet and turns around as NAMI rushes and nails a loud running PK off the apron to IZM who’s on the floor! That was one stiff kick and the champion is holding her chest in pain as NAMI gets off the apron and immediately tosses IZM back to the ring.
Asuka Kuramochi: NAMI is continuing her assault as she snapmares IZM to a seated position! NAMI rushes the ropes and nails IZM with a penalty kick but the champion isn’t down. NAMI sees this as she goes to the ropes and comes back, nailing a second penalty kick but again IZM isn’t down and she seems to be fired up! The champion is back up to her feet and nails her challenger with a knife-edge chop immediately! Both women are exchanging strikes as each of IZM’s chops is being returned with a loud kick to the chest by NAMI!
Maki Fujioka: Despite having taken far more punishment than her challenger, IZM is fighting back up and absorbing every kick from her challenger. NAMI seems to be struggling with the chops of The Erupting Spirit and now IZM’s barrage is going unanswered by NAMI. The champion with a spinning backhand chop that has her challenger stunned. IZM raises her hand in the air to a positive ovation from the crowd. IZM now rushes the ropes for a LLLARRRIAT----NO! NAMI WITH A ROUNDHOUSE KICK AS IZM WAS RUSHING AT HER… BUT THE CHAMPION ISN’T DOWN! IZM IS STILL STANDING AS SHE STILL CHARGES IN WITH A HUGE LARIAT AND NAILS IT!
Asuka Kuramochi: What a lariat from IZM but she is struggling to keep herself on her feet. She took a roundhouse right to the side of the head and still stood standing, absolutely incredible from IZM. She regains her footing and gets NAMI up to her feet. She wants to go for a crucifix powerbomb and there isn’t any struggle from the challenger! IZM WITH A HUGE DANGER BOMB! What a crucifix powerbomb from IZM! This might end it!
Hana Oikawa: OOOONNNNNEEEE!!! TWWWWWOOOOOO!! THHHHHREEEEEEEE!!!
Maki Fujioka: The challenger is still in this as NAMI kicked just before Hana’s hand came down for the count. IZM is starting to wonder what she has to do next, her partner Saki is cheering her on and telling her to keep going. IZM is signaling for the end as she gets NAMI up to her feet and up via an Argentine Rack. She is looking for one of her many finishers but NAMI has regained some consciousness and she is fighting off the champion’s attempt to end the match.
Asuka Kuramochi NAMI now slips behind IZM and nails an elbow right into the back of IZM. A second elbow to the back and NAMI follows it up with a Snap German Suplex! IZM is on her knees as NAMI takes a step away from her opponent. The Golden Queen now rushes in for A SECOND VELVET BLOOD! THE SUPERKICK CONNECTS WITH IZM’S FACE! A cover now by NAMI!
Hana Oikawa: ONNNNNNEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWOOOOOO!!! THHHHRREEEEEEEEE!!!
Maki Fujioka: AND IZM KICKED OUT! THE MATCH IS STILL GOING AS THE CHAMPION IS STILL IN THIS! NAMI couldn’t put away IZM with a second Velvet Blood and NAMI does not look happy. She is slamming the mat in frustration as almost had IZM beaten but she kicked out right at the last millisecond. NAMI gets IZM up to her knees and such a disrespectful slap from the challenger. A second slap from NAMI as she is really pushing it, this disrespect towards her might come back and get her.
Asuka Kuramochi: That might be true but right now NAMI has a hold of both of IZM’s hands as if two Velvet Blood might not be able to put away The Erupting Spirit, one Plastic Surgery might be able to do the trick. NAMI now pulls back her right leg and pulls the trigger! PLASTIC SURG----NO! IZM AT THE LAST MOMENT GOT HERSELF UP AND COUNTERED WITH A HEADBUTT!
Maki Fujioka: What a headbutt from the champion as NAMI lets go of IZM and staggers back. IZM pulls NAMI in and nails another headbutt! She gets the stunned NAMI up onto her shoulders and in position for an I-K Driver! IZM CONNECTS WITH A PICTURE PERFECT I-K DRIVER! A cover now by the champion!
Hana Oikawa: OOOONNNNNNNEEEEEE!!!! TWWWWWOOOOOOO!!! THREEEE----
Asuka Kuramochi: NAMI kicks out but IZM isn’t finished with her challenger as she looks right at the downed NAMI and gets her up to her feet. IZM gets NAMI up onto her shoulders again in an Argentine Rack hold. IZM spins NAMI off her shoulders for a RED THUNDER BOOOMMMMBBB!
NO NAMI WAS ABLE TO SLIP OUT RIGHT IN FRONT OF HER OPPONENT AND RIGHT BEFORE IZM PULLED OFF THE ARGENTINE POWERBOMB!
Maki Fujioka: Again IZM couldn’t nail one of her finishers and NAMI quickly connects with a JUMPING HIGH KNEE! The champion isn’t down as NAMI grabs a hold of IZM’s hands again and SHE NAILS IZM WITH A STANDING PLASTIC SURGERY! A STANDING KAMIGOYE FROM NAMI CONNECTS! IZM COLLAPSES DOWN TO HER KNEES AND NAMI NAILS ANOTHER PLLLAAASSTIIIIICCC SURGERY! WE MIGHT HAVE A NEW ACADEMY CHAMPION!
Hana Oikawa: OOOOOONNNNNEEEE!!! TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOOO!!! TTTTHHHHHHHHHRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
(DING DING DING!!)
(“Dalla Dalla'' by ITZY plays again as NAMI rolls off IZM. Both Oni Ushi and Saki Misawa enter to check up on their respective allies. Young Girls around the ringside area enter the ring to check on the downed former champion.)
Naomi Serizawa: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! YOUR WINNER AND THE NEEEEEWWWW JET ACADEMY CHAMPION!!! NNNAAAAAAAMMMMIIIIIII!!!
Maki Fujioka: We did say that NAMI would have to do everything in her power to put away IZM and she did just that! NAMI, just four months into her wrestling career, she has just won her first championship in wrestling!
Asuka Kuramochi: IZM fought hard and she took EVERYTHING that NAMI threw at her but in the ring, three consecutive knee strikes were too much for her. Her reign is now over!
(NAMI is helped up to her feet by Oni Ushi and Hana Oikawa raises the hand of the new champion before handing her the JET Academy Championship. Just as NAMI is raising her championship up in the air, IZM’s tag partner Saki Misawa gets right in front of the new champion.)
Maki Fujioka: It seems that Misawa wants to step up and challenge the new champion. NAMI is telling her to shoo. Looks like NAMI will continue to face the New Generation Army even as champion.
(Saki checks up on IZM who is being helped out of the ring and the final shot before the commercial break is NAMI raising her champion high up in the air.)
[Commercial]
(The video begins in what seems to be inside of the Seibu Dome and it seems to have been turned into a stage with moving set pieces. The stage lights are on as a group of performers soon take the stage as each one of them is a silhouette representing the many legends, icons and superstars of the women’s wrestling world including of the women who made their name in JET. All of the lights of the stadium go except for one singular light. The final chorus of “Break” by Uru begins to play at the same time.)
: I refuse to be forgotten by this world…
A woman finally steps into the spotlight as the final chorus continues to play. The mysterious woman is…
**HARUNA SAKAZAKI!!!**
Haruna snaps her fingers and the lights return with all of the performers frozen in place. She soon turns around and takes her leave, “Break” has died down at this point and all that can be heard is Haruna’s footsteps. The camera soon transitions over the banner of Cinderella Story XV.)
Voice over: “Betray the expectations set in stone! Amaze the world and let them see!”
Voice over: **Joshi Extreme Takeover Presents Cinderella Story 15 on April 11th, 2021!!**
---
(A video package soon begins to play with “Hanzaisha” by a crowd of rebellion in the background. The video focuses on the event known as “The Great Betrayal”, where JUNKO and the rest of DESPERADOS turn on their former leader KAGUYA back at Cinderella Story 14. The faction turned from KAGUYA-Gun to DESPERADOS and JUNKO usurping KAGUYA as the leader. The success that followed after the faction was reborn as DESPERADOS is also shown with JUNKO becoming JET World Champion and SAIKO winning the tributary shield. At the same time as those events, KAGUYA was training to return to the ring and get her revenge on her former faction. The video plays out the rest of the events following KAGUYA’s return. KAGUYA defeated Q and JUNKO retaining the JET World Champion against Sora Todoh followed by KAGUYA confronting JUNKO and telling the JET World Champion that her days are numbered. The rest of the build is also shown where Yoko Kudo in anger declared that the stipulation of the match will be a Cage Deathmatch and KAGUYA even pinning JUNKO in a tag match followed by her letting JUNKO know that her days are numbered. The final shot of the video package is a photo of KAGUYA and JUNKO as allies before it burns away into a photo of them face to face.)
(Camera cuts back to back ringside as the steel cage has been set up with weapons all around the inner walls of the cage. Everything from chairs, kendo sticks, light tubes, tables, and even some mystery bags.)
Naomi Serizawa: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN, IT IS NOW TIME FOR YOUR MAAAAAIIIINNN EVENT OF THE EVENING AND IT IS A CAGE DEATHMATCH FOR THE JET WORLD CHAMPION
(“With Vengeance” by Yosuke Kinoshita begins to play and the crowd shows their excitement with cheers as KAGUYA makes her way out from the back. Stoic as ever, KAGUYA doesn’t pay any attention to the fans. The challenger is wearing a beautiful white and gold entrance jacket over a pure white attire.)
Naomi Serizawa: INTRODUCING FIRST! SHE IS THE CHALLENGER! FROM OSAKA, JAPAN! SHE IS THE RED DRAGON OF REEEEVVEEENGGGEEE!!! KKKKKAAAAAAAGGGGGUUUYYYYAAAAA!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: It’s almost time for the main event, the fans in attendance and the ones watching from the comforts of their own home have been waiting for this match. That woman was once the most despised competitor in JET as two years ago, she won her first JET World Championship and she did it at the 2018 edition of the Spotlight event. Now she has a chance to become a two-time JET World Champion but my question is if KAGUYA is going with the right mindset. Is she focused too much on just getting her revenge?
Maki Fujioka: Only time will tell. This match is perfect for KAGUYA, a cage deathmatch means that JUNKO isn’t going to be able to escape. Both competitors will be locked in and the rest of DESPERADOS will be locked out of the cage.
(KAGUYA takes off her entrance jacket and enters the ring. It seems that extra precaution was taken with this match and both referees of JET are in the ring to make sure that no pre-match fight takes place. KAGUYA is directed to her corner as “With Vengeance” is replaced with “Spitfire” by Prodigy.)
(The crowd’s mood turns sour as the JET World Champion makes her way out from the back towards the ring. JUNKO is wearing her trademark fur entrance robe along with a black and blood red attire. As always she has the JET World Championship around her waist.)
Naomi Serizawa: AND HER OPPONENT! FROM NERIMA, TOKYO, JAPAN! SHE IS THE 30TH AND THE TRAGIC HEART! JJJUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUNNNKKOOOOOOOOOOO!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: And there she is! The Usurper and one who turned her back on her former leader and stablemate which has resulted in an incredibly successful run of form for JET World Champion. But now she faces the greatest threat to her reign, a ghost from her past who is back with a vengeance.
Maki Fujioka: JUNKO has to go into this match with no outside help like her previous defense against Sora Todoh. Not only that but there is no escape for her, she must face The Red Dragon. This is the path she decided to walk down and now it’s back to get her.
(JUNKO takes off her entrance robe before she enters the ring as she is directed to her corner and hands the JET World Championship but not before raising it in front of KAGUYA. JET’s senior referee Yuri Watanabe raises the belt high in the air. She soon hands the belt to Hana Oikawa who leaves the ring and shuts the door, locking it with chains. Yuri Watanabe soon signals for the bell to be rung.)
(DING DING DING!)
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA IMMEDIATELY CHARGES IN JUST AS YURI SIGNALLED FOR THE BELL! A HUGE SHOTGUN DROPKICK BY KAGUYA and here we go, the main event of Nagoya Spotlight and the first-ever Cage Death Match in JET History is underway! The impact of the kick sending JUNKO right into the turnbuckle! KAGUYA now with vicious forearms now as she lays into the JET World Champion, each forearm nailing JUNKO right in the jaw! KAGUYA did say that she would make JUNKO pay for her betrayal and this is what she had in mind!
Asuka Kuramochi: And JUNKO has to take all of it, there won’t be any kind of interference from the referee. All Yuri Watanabe is there to do is to signal for the bell when a winner is declared either by pinfall, submission, or knockout, and with the way KAGUYA is attacking JUNKO, we might actually get that knockout win. KAGUYA pulls JUNKO out of the corner by her hair and now with a snap mare, KAGUYA follows it up with an elbow right to the back of JUNKO’s head!
Maki Fujioka: Dear God that looked brutal, JUNKO is down on her back as KAGUYA just put everything right into that elbow, now she looks around the cage and thinks about which weapon to bring down first. Yoko Kudo has made sure to include everything that both competitors might want in a match like this and it seems that KAGUYA wants a chair. Something simple to start with as she pulls the chair off the wiring holding it against the cage wall. JUNKO is still down and KAGUYA is back on the attack as she drives the chair right onto the back of the JET World Champion! It’s followed up with a second chair shot from KAGUYA and a third shot, the face of the JET World Champion right now tells the whole story as she looks to be in massive amounts of pain.
Asuka Kuramochi: I guess you can call this karma for everything JUNKO has done this year including betraying KAGUYA who seems to be enjoying every bit of this. She has been in complete control right from the start of the match and the JET World Champion has gotten no offense in so far. KAGUYA drops the chair to now get JUNKO up to her feet and up in the air for A DRAGON’S ROAR! Looks like KAGUYA wants to end it early but JUNKO is fighting out of it and drops down right in front of her challenger.
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA is still on the offensive as she nails JUNKO with a stiff elbow! KAGUYA now rushes to the ropes but JUNKO JUST THREW THE SAME CHAIR KAGUYA USED ON HER RIGHT INTO THE FACE OF KAGUYA! The sound of the steel connecting with KAGUYA’s skull could probably be heard all through the venue here and even for those who are outside of the main hall! JUNKO now sees this chance for her to attack and grabs KAGUYA throwing her into the cage through the middle rope! Once again KAGUYA is gone skull first into some steel and she seems almost out of it at the moment. KAGUYA is now down to her knees and stuck between the ropes and the cage.
Asuka Kuramochi: JUNKO sees this and something is going through that sadistic mind of hers. She grabs the same chair that KAGUYA and her have used on each other, she is taking aim! JUNKO RUSHES IN WITH ANOTHER CHAIR SHOT! This time it was the side of KAGUYA’s head and the impact of the shot had KAGUYA’s head bouncing off the cage wall again! JUNKO pulls KAGUYA away and goes for the first cover of the match.
Yuri Watanabe: OOOONNNNNEEEEE!!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOOOO!!!
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA kicks out but it looks like she’s so dazed that she barely got her shoulder up in time. JUNKO shakes her head as she gets up and looks around at the cage to see which weapon. KAGUYA is still down and doesn’t look like she’s even conscious at the moment but it seems JUNKO has a smile as she spots a bag attached to the wall and goes towards it. JUNKO pulls down the bag and opens it up…. **Oh my god! A CLEAVER KNIFE?! ARE YOU SERIOUS!?** Yoko Kudo might have gone a step too far but it seems that JUNKO isn’t done looking through the bag and… there’s a lighter in there as well?!
Asuka Kuramochi: JUNKO seems to know exactly what to do with those two items. The sadistic side of the JET World Champion is starting to show as she begins to use the lighter on the flat side of the cleaver. It seems that it’s hot enough for JUNKO as she soon approaches KAGUYA AND PRESSES THE FLAT HOT SIDE OF THE BLADE ONTO KAGUYA’S BACK WHO IS BACK TO FULL CONSCIOUSNESS AND LETS OUT A SCREAM! Her back is being left with what could be described as a branding mark from this sadistic woman! Oh my god, this is too much and Yuri Watanabe has to step in sooner or later.
Maki Fujioka: She can’t as both women knew what they were getting into by being in this match! KAGUYA has a proper red hot mark on her back and JUNKO pressing her foot down on the burn mark! KAGUYA again screams in pain as JUNKO pulls off her foot and immediately goes back to the chair and drives the thin part of the chair right into the burn mark! KAGUYA showing pain is something rare but JUNKO has effectively created a weak point on KAGUYA’s back that she can keep going back to if need be. It’s a smart move by JUNKO and as much as we might want to deny what she can do in the ring, the results say otherwise.
Asuka Kuramochi: That’s true and speaking of JUNKO, it seems that she has another idea in her head as she unfolds the chair in her hand and sets it down before going over and picking up her foe. JUNKO has KAGUYA up for her own brainbuster, the move she stole from KAGUYA but speaking of KAGUYA, she’s fighting out of it with shots to the ribs of JUNKO and escapes the hold. KAGUYA now swings wildly but JUNKO ducks and nails the Darkness Edge! KAGUYA’s head landed hard right onto the chair seat as JUNKO takes a step back and charges in! JUNKO WITH A RUNNING DOUBLE FOOT CURB STOMP! She just smashed the back of KAGUYA’s head right into the chair! JUNKO now covers KAGUYA!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOONNNNNEEEEEE!!! TWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!! THHHHHHRREEEEEEE
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA kicks out as the crowd explodes into cheers but it seems that KAGUYA might have been busted open with that curb stomp… She has! KAGUYA’s forehead is leaking bits of blood and the JET World Champion is frustrated regardless of that.JUNKO is looking around the cage wall for a new weapon to introduce and spots another bag, considering what was in the last one this one might be just as worse. It’s…. A GLASS PANEL!? Yoko really put a small glass panel in a bag for both women to use on one another!? It’s the perfect size to smash it over an opponent’s head but JUNKO seems to have something else in mind as she goes over to the corner and wedges the glass panel in between the top and middle turnbuckle. JUNKO seems completely in her element as she gets KAGUYA up. JUNKO has KAGUYA in the opposite corner to the wedged glass panel, the JET World Champion Irish-whips KAGUYA.
Asuka Kuramochi: BUT KAGUYA REVERSES IT AND THROWS JUNKO SKULL FIRST THROUGH THE WEDGED GLASS PANEL INSTEAD! Oh my God, the glass panel just shattered on impact and JUNKO has been busted open! Blood is slowly pouring down the face of the JET World Champion and KAGUYA collapses down to one knee but soon gets right back up as she is looking around the ring to see what to use. Blood is still rolling down KAGUYA’s face but she is still going and finds what she is looking up. A collection of light tubes and KAGUYA immediately heading over and pulling down the light tubes. They seem to be wrapped together with wiring but KAGUYA is having no problem with that as she takes one of them and goes over to JUNKO who is slowly recovering from having glass shattered.
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA JUST SMASHED THE LIGHT TUBE OVER JUNKO’S HEAD! The second time that JET World Champion has had glass shattered over her head and KAGUYA isn’t finished with that broken light tube as she throws one half to the side and looks at the sharp edges of the broken piece she has in her hand, just like JUNKO before she has something sadistic in her mind! KAGUYA IS STARTING TO PUSH THE SHARP EDGES RIGHT INTO THE FOREHEAD OF JUNKO! OH MY GOD KAGUYA HAS GONE INSANE! She is willing to go to such lengths for revenge!
Asuka Kuramochi: Revenge that cost her over eight months of action, a betrayal led by the JET World Champion on the person that KAGUYA once saw as a close ally. She has been waiting for this day ever since Cinderella Story. If I was in her place, I would be the same.
Maki Fujioka: Attempt to permanently harm JUNKO? KAGUYA is pushing that glass as deep as she can and finally pulls it away. The JET World Champion is a bloody mess right now thanks to KAGUYA who looks happy at what she just did and thinks about what to do next. She has her eyes set on a table hooked to the wall and goes to pull it down. KAGUYA now sets the table against one of the corners and immediately goes back to JUNKO but the JET World Champion is able to get some offense as she nails KAGUYA with a forearm. The challenger with one of her own and KAGUYA even after being busted open herself still hasn’t lost any bit of impact in her strike. JUNKO is pushed back by the impact as KAGUYA grabs her by the colorful hair and takes her towards the center. She has the JET World Champion up in a powerbomb, I think she wants to put her through the table but JUNKO is fighting out of the powerbomb position with closed fist shots.
Asuka Kuramochi: JUNKO slips down and nails a forearm to KAGUYA! She gets KAGUYA in position for Darkness Edge once again but KAGUYA is getting out with well placed shots to the side of JUNKO’s head. Both challenger and champion now trade elbows at one another, KAGUYA seems to be winning as each elbow from JUNKO is wearing down her challenger less and less. Even with KAGUYA bleeding from her forehead, she is still pushing and wanting to go. KAGUYA is yelling at JUNKO? She seems to be pointing at her own jaw and tells JUNKO that she gets one free shot.
Maki Fujioka: The JET World Champion replies with a forearm… and KAGUYA didn’t even flinch. Another forearm from JUNKO but KAGUYA again isn’t phased at all and winds back up her arm… KAGUYA with a HUGE elbow of her own! A second elbow and a third one, KAGUYA’s viciousness is on full display as each forearm has a powerful thud when it connects with the side of JUNKO’s face. The JET World Champion is down to a knee and KAGUYA is grabbing JUNKO by her colorful hair and nails ANOTHER STIFF forearm this time to the back of JUNKO’s head! Another loud thud as the strike connected. KAGUYA with her first cover of the match.
Yuri Watanabe: OOOONNNNEEEEE!!! TTTTTWWWWWOOOOO!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: JUNKO kicks out. And have a look at the face of KAGUYA who seems to be not happy. She seems to be yelling things at JUNKO.
KAGUYA (off-mic): You think I was kidding?! I meant it when I said I was going to make sure you suffer! I will personally put you on the injury list just like you once did to me!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA now steps back as JUNKO is just now showing signs of life and is needing to use both her hands to get herself up to all fours. KAGUYA probably wants to end it by kicking JUNKO right in the skull as she charges! QUEEEENNN CRIMMMSSSOONNN!!!
**OH MY GOD! JUNKO just pierced KAGUYA’s leg with the second half of the broken light tube that KAGUYA threw away earlier!**
(Replay of JUNKO quickly grabbing the broken piece just as KAGUYA charged in for a Queen Crimson and stabbed KAGUYA in her right leg with the glass.)
Maki Fujioka: The length the JET World Champion went to make sure she didn’t get her head punted off! To take a piece of broken glass and jam it into KAGUYA’s right leg… she is insane. KAGUYA is holding her leg in pain, she seems to be in tears as the stoic KAGUYA is down on her back. The JET World Champion gets closer and like before with the burn mark, she just presses her foot down on the wound and twists her foot, pushing even deeper down on the wound. The referee is checking up on KAGUYA and asks her if she wants to give up but KAGUYA… isn’t giving up. JUNKO seemingly pissed off, pushed down even harder and now she is the one yelling.
JUNKO (off-mic): Give up and leave JET! This is your only choice because if you don’t give up, things will be worse for you! You’ll regret even coming back!
Asuka Kuramochi: JUNKO is pretty much yelling at her challenger to give up but KAGUYA is refusing to do so. JUNKO now brings KAGUYA up to her feet up for a brainbuster, she wants to hit KAGUYA with a Usurper, the same move that she took from KAGUYA after the betrayal but KAGUYA is fighting out of it! KAGUYA slips out of the brainbuster with well-placed shots to her ribs of the JET World Champion. Once again the champion and challenger face to face and blood is running down both their faces. JUNKO ducks KAGUYA’s forearm, she nails The Red Dragon with a low dropkick to her right leg and KAGUYA down to her knees. JUNKO rushes to the ropes AND NAILS KAGUYA WITH A DARKNESS SMASH ON THE REBOUND! KAGUYA JUST TOOK ALL OF THAT SLIDING ELBOW SMASH!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNNEEEE!!! TWWWWWOOOOOO!!!
Maki Fujioka: And KAGUYA kicks out! JUNKO slams her fist on the mat as she probably thought that it was gonna end the match but this contest is still going. JUNKO is looking around the ring to find something to use. It seems that she has founded what she is looking for, a kendo stick and she immediately pulls it off the wiring. JUNKO has a smile on her face as she nails KAGUYA in the back with a kendo stick shot and the challenger is showing signs of pain on her face. Another shot from JUNKO, a third one, the JET World Champion continuing with a series of shots to KAGUYA but the challenger is showing her resilience! KAGUYA is slowly getting up to her feet and absorbing each and every single shot! She is starting to show less and less pain on her face, KAGUYA with an incredible amount of fighting spirit on display!
Asuka Kuramochi: Even through everything, being busted open, the burn mark on her back and the wound to her leg, KAGUYA is still going! Another shot from JUNKO and KAGUYA lets out a yell, the look on the face of the JET World Champion tells the whole story but JUNKO follows it up with her next shot towards the wound on her right leg! Finally, KAGUYA is showing some pain on her face as JUNKO hits her with a second kendo stick shot to her leg and a third one! KAGUYA is back down to her knees and JUNKO winds up, nailing a shot right to the head. The challenger seems dazed as JUNKO drops the kendo stick and steps back.
Maki Fujioka: JUNKO wants to end it and rushes in! SHADOW FLAAAAASSSSHHH--- KAGUYA PARRIES AND SIDE STEPS JUST IN TIME! KAGUYA IS NOW BEHIND JUNKO AND GETS THE SLEEPER HOLD! She has the sleeper hold locked in tight and JUNKO has nowhere to go as she’s trapped in the center of the ring. KAGUYA with the perfect counter at the right moment, she has JUNKO trapped. Look at the face of the challenger, who is tightening her grip even more at the moment.
Asuka Kuramochi: Will the champion submit?! JUNKO is seemingly fading but KAGUYA changes her plan and quickly gets her opponent up for a powerbomb position! Despite the leg wound, she can hold JUNKO’s weight up! KAGUYA NOW WITH A RUNNING POWERBOMB! SHE JUST PUT THROUGH THE TABLE THAT WAS SET UP EARLIER!
(Replay of the powerbomb is shown and JUNKO collides into it back first, breaking it in half.)
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA is also down to her knees as she is clutching her right leg in pain. She needs to cover JUNKO but I think lifting up JUNKO for the powerbomb might have been a bit too much for the wounded leg. KAGUA finally pulls JUNKO out of the corner, away from the broken table, and goes for the corner!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNEEEEE!!! TWWWWOOOOOO!!! THHHHHRRREEEE----
Asuka Kuramochi: And JUNKO kicked out! The JET World Champion kicks out, right at the end and like Maki said before, if KAGUYA leg wasn’t in pain and she was able to pull JUNKO out of the corner immediately, we probably would have had a new JET World Champion but right now this match is still going. KAGUYA seems to be trying to get some life back into her leg as she is slowly getting back to her feet. JUNKO seems to be out of it right now and barely showing signs of life. The challenger now gets her opponent to her feet and it seems that KAGUYA wants to end it with a Dragon’s Roar. She is able to lift JUNKO up in the air but only just barely. JUNKO seems to be fully conscious now as she slips out of the brainbuster attempt!
Asuka Kuramochi: The JET World Champion is landing a barrage of slaps, kicks and elbows that has KAGUYA stunned and down to her knees! THE JET WORLD CHAMPION WITH MORE FEROCIOUS STRIKES AS SHE NAILS KAGUYA WITH A BUZZSAW KICK AND A SECOND ONE FOR GOOD MEASURES! KAGUYA isn’t down yet!
Maki Fujioka: JUNKO now with her brainbuster attempt as she lifts KAGUYA up in the air! JUNKO WITH A USSSURRRPPPEEERRRRRR!!!!! JUNKO JUST DRILLED KAGUYA WITH THE BRAINBUSTER THAT SHE STOLE FROM KAGUYA!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEE!!!! TWWWWWOOOOOOO!!!! THRRRREEEEEEEEE!!!!
Maki Fujioka: OH MY GOODNESS! KAGUYA kicked out and JUNKO is not happy as she looks at Yuri Watanabe who also tells her that KAGUYA kicked out. JUNKO is slamming her fist down to the mat in anger as she soon grabs KAGUYA’s hair and shouts right at her!
JUNKO (off-mic): JUST DIE ALREADY!
Asuka Kuramochi: JUNKO is letting her anger boil over and she wants to end this as she grabs a chair off the cage wall and immediately drops it down. JUNKO gets KAGUYA up who seems to be barely conscious at the moment, she has KAGUYA up to her feet but just barely. JUNKO now has KAGUYA up on her shoulder as she wants to end it with a Dark Impulse onto the chair but KAGUYA slips behind and out of the hold! SHE HAS A SLEEPER HOLD LOCKED IN!
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA STILL WANTS TO FIGHT ON AND SHE IS LOCKING IN THE SLEEPER TIGHTLY! She is doing everything in her power to make sure JUNKO does pass out! Both challenger and champion have masks of red on their face from the blood running down their faces but both are still going! KAGUYA seems to be dragging JUNKO to the nearby corner and letting go of the sleeper but applies a waist lock! A HUGE GERMAN SUPLEX AS KAGUYA RIGHT INTO THE CORNER! The back of JUNKO’s head connected hard with the middle turnbuckle!
Asuka Kuramochi: JUNKO collapses as she is seated against the turnbuckle! KAGUYA goes on the offensive as she begins to nail JUNKO with vicious forearms! Each of them is stiff and KAGUYA won’t be stopped as the referee can’t pull her off JUNKO! KAGUYA is continuing to lay into the JET World Champion with forearms and take a look at KAGUYA’s right elbow pad, the white elbow is starting to slowly become light reddish with each forearm against JUNKO’s bloodied head.
Maki Fujioka: It seems Yuri Watanabe wants to see if JUNKO is knocked out from the forearms but KAGUYA pushes her away?! KAGUYA is continuing to lay into JUNKO with the forearms before finally pulling away. She soon grabs a hold of the rest of the light tubes she introduced earlier in the match and lays them all down in the center of the ring. KAGUYA using the support of the corner gets JUNKO up to her feet and onto her shoulders. I don’t like what KAGUYA has in store for JUNKO. KAGUYA WITH A OSAKA ECLIPSE! SAMOAN DRIVER RIGHT ONTO THE LIGHT TUBES, JUNKO’s back crashing into the light tubes shattered all of them! KAGUYA with the cover now!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!!! TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOO!!!! THHHHHHHHRRREEEEEEE!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: The JET World Champion kicked out! JUNKO is still in this match, look at the face of KAGUYA! Bloodied but still shocked that JUNKO kicked out! Yuri Watanabe is pulling KAGUYA away from JUNKO as she wants to check on the JET World Champion. It seems like JUNKO is still good to go, she can still move as she turns her onto her stomach and uses her hands to get up onto all fours.
Maki Fujioka: Meanwhile KAGUYA looks almost possessed with anger as stalks JUNKO and charges in! QQQQQUUUUUUEEEEEEENNNN CRRRRIIIMMMSSSOOOONNN!!! KAGUYA just nailed JUNKO with a short-range punt kick! The JET World Champion has to be out cold as KAGUYA just presses her foot down on JUNKO for the cover!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOOOOOOONNNNNNNNEEEEEEEE!!! TTTWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! THRREEEEEEEEEEEEEEE….
Maki Fujioka: WHAT… KAGUYA WHAT ARE YOU DOING?! SHE JUST LIFTED HER FOOT OFF JUNKO’S CHEST! SHE COULD HAVE WON THE JET WORLD CHAMPIONSHIP! She just broke her own pin for what?! To deal more damage to JUNKO and fulfill her revenge?! She is nuts!
Asuka Kuramochi: That seems to be the reason as she picks up JUNKO who seems to be completely out of it. She has the JET World Champion up for a brainbuster! KAGUYA WITH A DRAGON'S ROAR, COMPLETELY DRILLING THE JET WORLD CHAMPION WITH THAT VERTICAL SPIKE BRAINBUSTER! This has to be it as KAGUYA goes for the cover!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNEEEEE!!!!!! TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOOOO!!!! TTTTTTTTHHHHHREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Maki Fujioka: JUNKO kicked out?! The JET World Champion is still in this but she barely got her shoulder up. KAGUYA is losing it right now, she is pulling out some of her own hair! This is her own fault, she wanted to inflict more punishment to her foe instead of taking the win after nailing Queen Crimson! Kaguya starts to think of what to do and spots a second table attached to the cage wall. Making her way over, she brings the table down and sets it up near a corner. KAGUYA seems sluggish in her movement as she seems to be running on fumes at the moment. The challenger grabs JUNKO back up to her feet and places her on the table. KAGUYA is thinking of something dangerous and I don’t like it, she moves towards the corner and up each turnbuckle. Oh God, KAGUYA is going to dive off to put JUNKO through the table. KAGUYA is slowly but surely up as she looks down at the camera, posing like…. Like Azumi used to do so.
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA LEAPS FOR A PATH OF HEAVEEEEENNNNN!!!!! JUNKO ROLLED HERSELF OUT OF THE WAY AND KAGUYA IS THE ONE WHO WENT THROUGH THE TABLE!! KAGUYA crashes and burns as she puts herself through the table thanks to that moonsault attempt.
(Replay of KAGUYA going through the table with the missed moonsault, just as JUNKO rolled off towards the corner.)
Maki Fujioka: KAGUYA seems to be in serious pain as she is holding her ribs and chest area in pain. Meanwhile, JUNKO is seated against the bottom turnbuckle, and… and she’s laughing? The JET World Champion seems to be enjoying the sight of KAGUYA surrounded by broken table pieces who is getting herself up to her knees. JUNKO’s laughter soon turns to anger as she gets up using the ropes and rushes at KAGUYA!
**SSSSHHHHHAAAADDDDOOOOOWWWWW FFFFLLLLASSSSSSHHHH!!!**
JUNKO just connected with a Shadow Flash! THIS might be it as she goes for the cover!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNNEEEEEEEEE!!!!! TWWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!!!! THHHHHHHHHREEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
Asuka Kuramochi: KAGUYA… KAGUYA kicked out!? She seems to have just barely gotten her shoulder up as JUNKO seems totally spent but so is KAGUYA. Both women have done everything, they’ve thrown everything at one another and still, this cage deathmatch is going on. Yuri Watanabe begins her count as both are down and neither has shown signs of life.
Yuri Watanabe: ONEEE!! TWOOO!! THREEEE!! FOUUUR!!! FIVEEE!!! SIIIIX!
Maki Fujioka: Both champion and challenger are finally showing signs of life as both of them are up to their knees. KAGUYA with a forearm but JUNKO replies with one of her own! Another forearm from the challenger but the champion responds with her own. Unlike before it seems that now KAGUYA’s forearms are the least impactful strikes out of the two but KAGUYA is still fighting. JUNKO with another forearm, a second one and a third one as KAGUYA is slowly fading!
Asuka Kuramochi: JUNKO is continuing to lay into KAGUYA with forearms and grabbing a hold of her brown hair to keep her up! The JET World Champion is just absolutely pummelling her challenger with more and more forearms! She finally lets go of her hair as KAGUYA is still not down but on her knees while JUNKO is now up to her feet and rushes the ropes! JUNKO NAILS HER WITH A MODIFIED SHADOW DANCE RIGHT TO THE BACK OF HER HEAD! She just nailed that Somato right to the back of KAGUYA’s head before shaking her head.
Maki Fujioka: I don’t think she’s done but KAGUYA seems out of it right now. With blood running down her face, JUNKO signals for the end by looking at the camera as she gets KAGUYA up to her feet and onto her shoulder! KAGUYA IS SHOWING NO SIGNS OF MOVEMENT AS JUNKO NAILS KAGUYA WITH A VICIOUS DAAARRK IIIMMMPPPULLLSE!!!! THE BACK OF KAGUYA’S NECK JUST LANDED RIGHT ONTO THE TABLE SHARDS! JUNKO collapses as well but she has her hand over KAGUYA’s chest for the cover!
Yuri Watanabe: OOOOONNNNNEEEEEEE!!!! TWWWWWWWOOOOOOOOO!!! THRRRRRREEEEEEEEEEE!!!!
(DING DING DING!!!)
(“Spitfire” by Prodigy plays as the cage door is unlocked and medical personnel rush along with JET young girls and the rest of DESPERADOS. The crowd is silent over the carnage and war caused by this match. The medical team first checks on KAGUYA who seems completely out of it at the moment while DESPERADOS checks on their faction leader.)
Naomi Serizawa: LADIES AND GENTLEMEN! YOUR WINNER AND STILL JET WORLD CHAMPION!!! JUUUUUNNNNNKKKOOOOOO!!!!!
Maki Fujioka: AN INCREDIBLE WAY TO END 2020! BOTH WOMEN WENT TO ABSOLUTE WAR WITH ONE ANOTHER! Everything and I truly mean EVERYTHING was thrown at one another but going into the new year, JUNKO is still the JET World Champion!
Asuka Kuramochi: JET’s prized possession is still under its hostage situation and tonight! Not only do DESPERADOS have the JET Tag Championships and JET National Championship now but the JET World Championship still remains under the possession of The Tragic Heart.
(To the shock of everyone KAGUYA after everything is standing up but with assistance from the young girls. She exits the ring and immediately falls down to her knees but gets back up and leaves, heading towards the back.)
Maki Fujioka: Somewhere down the line, the desire for revenge cost KAGUYA the opportunity to become a two-time JET World Champion. What mattered more to her was beating JUNKO within an inch of her life instead of being World Champion again while JUNKO went with the odds stacked completely against her and won.
A bloody JUNKO, the crimson mask making an ugly mess on her face as it mixes with what remains of her face paint, is helped to her feet by her DESPERADOS comrades. KAGUYA is being tended to by members of the Seikigun and ringside crew while SAIKO and Q have to hold their leader on her feet as Jessica Rose fashions the JET World Championship around her waist. Julia Zhang retrieves a microphone for JUNKO who needs the support of SAIKO to keep her balance. Her breath is heavy as the microphone relays it over the speakers, "Spitfire" dying down.
JUNKO: It -- it is over... 9 months seeking your vengeance for taking everything from you, your crusade to end the DESPERADOS I made from the ashes of your army, it does not end with a Dragon's Roar -- but a last pathetic whimper... YOU HAVE FAILED, KAGUYA!
JUNKO can't help but weakly laugh as Nagoya turns to a loud uproar of boos, her rows of teeth a piercing white as her eyes while she stands limp against SAIKO over the broken body of KAGUYA, the other DESPERADOS members backing away the attendants and roster members tending to her.
JUNKO: For what little it's worth, you are a tough woman. But still a shell of your prime. Incapable of ending this threat to your home. Because it is me that is standing in the end -- with the legacy of JET still in my possession! DESPERADOS STRONGER THAN EVER BEFORE! YOU HAVE ONLY FED THE BEAST!
A cackle escapes her, able to finally weakly stand on her own as she plants her boot on the chest of KAGUYA, looming over her.
JUNKO: But now you have nothing left. I have the World Championship that meant so much to you. I have the only people that brought you to prominence standing at my side. And now that I have beaten you, spilled your blood on a canvas you can never redeem, you have nothing of value to me anymore. I have taken it all. And now, you're nothing to me.
JUNKO takes her foot off her chest, putting a foot beneath her to flip her onto her side before shoving with the sole of her boot to roll her towards the crew at the cage door to take her away. She turns her focus to the crowd, offering a towel to clean her face of the blood that stained it which she rejects.
JUNKO: I hope you have all got the message now. Huh?! It is loud and clear now, right?! This threat, DESPERADOS, we are very serious. And we're only just getting started. We won't be satisfied until we've taken everything from JET. All of your championships. The will of all your heroes. And if the whole company comes crumbling down, so be it! We are taking our legacies by force! And we will only grow stronger. Our numbers will only grow, our influence spreading like a virus as we weed out the weak!
The booing of the Nagoya crowd gets louder, something that doesn't phase JUNKO in the slightest as she leans against the ropes with her forehead pressed against the steel mesh.
JUNKO: You don't have to like it. But you're going to have no choice but to accept it. Because as long as I have this championship, I have the heart of the entire company in the palm of my hand. And we have a death grip on it -- no one is going to take it away! KAGUYA couldn't tonight. Midori Miyamoto won't be able to. We will not be denied our glory!
With one last loud laughter that deafens out the disapproval of the Nagoya crowd, DESPERADOS stands on either side of JUNKO as she backs up to the center to culminate her proclamation.
JUNKO: WE ARE DESPERADOS! AND WE! WILL RULE! THIS WORLD!
“Spitfire” plays once again as all members of DESPERADOS stand side by side. SAIKO, Q, Zhang and of course, JUNKO holding their respective championships up in the air. Rei Kagura raises the DESPERADOS flag high in the air at the same time.
Maki Fujioka: And that sight is the one thing we feared the most. DESPERADOS have possession of three championships to close 2020. JET now has to come together to defeat this great evil.
Asuka Kuramochi: I for one am hoping that it happens soon. Things look bleak for JET heading into 2021 if DESPERADOS’ reign of dominance continues.
The final shot is JUNKO smiling and mouthing the simple words “the end is near” as the camera fades to black.
“HEY EVERYBODY
Today I would like to introduce you
To the one and only Entertainer!”
“REEEEAAAAADDDDDYYYYYY GO!”
