JET 45
JANUARY 13TH, 2021
KORAKUEN HALL IN TOKYO, JAPAN
A recap from what took place on JET’s last show of 2020 is shown, Nagoya Spotlight, and focused on all of the highlights of the show. The debut of Diantha and her first win alongside Mizuki Nakata as a tag partner, Stephanie Matsuda’s surprise appearance, Midori retained her title match contract against Masumi Tsutsumi, and all the many title changes. The final shot focuses on JUNKO and KAGUYA’s deadly cage deathmatch that saw the JET World Champion leave as the victor and DESPERADOS ending 2020 in possession of three championships. After the video comes to an end, we cut to Korakuen Hall filled to the max capacity of 750 people in attendance as “Full House” by Girlfriend plays in the background, as the fans are taking their seats. The shot transitions to the commentary team ready to go, of course, safety measures are being taken with clear panels separating Asuka Kuramochi and Maki Fujioka.
Maki Fujioka: Welcome everyone to the very first JET show of the new year, I hope our fans and everyone enjoyed their new year. JET is back and finally, our talented roster has a chance to perform for everyone. As always, I’m joined by my commentary partner Asuka Kuromachi.
Asuka Kuramochi: It’s always great to be here! We have an incredible show set for you all including a huge main event battle royal but first JET’s GM has some announcements for our fans.
The camera gets a full shot of the entire venue as soon “Rusty Nail (Instrumental)” by X Japan plays. The crowd gives her a positive reception for Yoko Kudo as she makes her way down to the ring. She is handed a mic once she enters the ring and looks around at the JET fans in attendance. “Rusty Nail” soon dies down as Yoko begins to speak.
Yoko Kudo: Good evening, everyone! How are you all doing?
The crowd gives Yoko a positive reaction with claps as she continues.
Yoko Kudo: 2021 has been off to a decent start and hopefully it was better than the year before. For both real-world events and of course, wrestling. JET is of course looking to improve with each passing tour, 2021 is going to be the year of JET.
Another positive reaction from the crowd.
Yoko Kudo: And the first thing is this show but more importantly the main event. The winner of which will challenge JET World Champion JUNKO at Collision Course III, even though winning is important. The other two who make it to the final three have a great opportunity as well, they will be added as the JET representatives for the 2021 Queen Of The World Tournament. Last year, Rio Kurokawa was so close to becoming Queen Of The World, and this year I want that crown to belong to a JET Wrestler. You want that as well, right?!
The Korakuen crowd gives Yoko Kudo a pop of cheers and applause in agreement.
Yoko Kudo: Most of our roster is set to be in the battle royal but for those who are in qualifying matches, this is a chance for you all to prove something more. I want to send my best wishes to everyone in tonight’s main event and I hope all of you enjoy the show.
“Rusty Nail” plays once again as Yoko Kudo leaves the ring and heads toward the back, the shot is once again focused on the commentators.
Maki Fujioka: Well, what an announcement from Yoko Kudo. Those who finish in second and third for this battle royal will be representing JET at Collision Course in the 2021 Queen Of The World tournament. Now there is more on the line for those competing.
Asuka Kuramochi: That’s true and first we have to get to our qualifying matches of the evening along with a couple not involving the battle royal main event.

The new JET Tag Team Champions, Q and Zhang were in action for the first match of the evening. After their successful title win and adding another championship to their faction’s collection, now was their first challenge against JET Young Girls, Saya Okita and Spring TORA. The young stars looked to be trouble right from the word go as they couldn’t overcome the JET Tag Champs experience advantage, Q and Zhang were confidently working on Saya’s arm but they got overconfident and that nearly cost them thanks to a roll-up from Saya. The young girls fought back with high-speed action and nearly won it after a top rope splash from TORA to Zhang but then to end the match it was all Q and Zhang as they dominated their opponents with Q sealing the win following a Q’s Landing. Misaki and Makiya lock and Makiya gets a Side Headlock on Misaki, which she transitions into a Hammerlock then a Drop Toe Hold. Makiya lifts up Misaki and gets a wrist lock locked in. (Winner - Makiya Kusanagi)

Camera cuts from ringside to a video from JET President Hanako Nakamoto as she is in her office.
Hanako Nakamoto: On December 27th, JET witnessed what could be considered as the most dangerous and bloodiest matches in its history. Both JUNKO and KAGUYA took their violent hatred for one another and showed off new levels of it. Both of them suffered wounds but it turns out that the challenger suffered the most out of the match.
Hanako pulls out a notepad before resuming to speak.
Hanako Nakamoto: KAGUYA will officially be ruled out for this tour and the following RISE Together tour. And from what we understand, there is no timeline for KAGUYA’s return. This could have been her last match for all we know. The doctors state that the wounds she suffered, especially the wound to her right are too severe for anyone. KAGUYA, of course, is a fighter but under my orders, she will not be allowed to compete until we can guarantee that she is fully fit.
The video message soon ends as the camera is once again focused on ringside for the next match of the evening.

Singles Match
Midori Miyamoto vs. Melissa Enders
Singles Match
Midori Miyamoto vs. Melissa Enders
The match starts off hot as Melissa begins a series of elbows on Midori. Midori is backed up against the ropes and Melissa is forced to back up, but not before getting one last strike in. Midori isn't taken by this and offers Melissa to hit her again. Melissa nails a stiff elbow strike as Midori answers back with a stiff Knife-Edge Chop. The two continue to trade strikes until Midori lands a quick Hook Kick on Melissa stunning her as Midori hits a Snapmare, which is followed by a stiff spinal kick. Midori unleashes a fury of Shoot Kicks on Melissa before finishing with a Bicycle Knee Strike. Melissa is out, but Midori doesn't go for the cover instead she lifts her up and hits a German Suplex. She maintains the hold and she rolls into the Catalyst Shift. Melissa is able to kick out at two-and-a-half.
Melissa is quick to her feet as she hits a quick High Knee on Midori and answers her with a Release German Suplex of her own. Midori is staggering to get up, but once she is up Melissa hits a Discus Lariat on Midori driving her down to the ground. Melissa goes for the Ankle Lock, but Midori quickly gets to the ropes. Midori and Melissa get back on their feet, and Melissa hits another Discus Lariat. She hits the ropes and goes for the MKO, but Midori ducks it. Melissa is quick to recover, but Midori hits the Shattercryst. Midori gets the three.
(Winner - Midori Miyamoto)
Post-Match:
Midori stands tall as she has her briefcase high in their air as the projector begins to show a live feed from America. The crowd explodes as it’s Nina Sanada on-screen and appearing on JET programming for the first time in nearly two years.
Nina Sanada: Congrats, Midori! As always you are able to show why you are one of the best wrestlers in the world and tonight was no exception.
Midori’s attention turns to the big screen as Nina continues to speak.
Nina Sanada: Last year, you defended the JET World Championship against a LAW talent and were successful but this year… Your challenger for that title match contract is a legend. I will be there at The Forum to challenge you for your contract. I’ll see you there.
A short and simple message from Nina ends as Midori turns to the camera with a mic in her hand.
Midori Miyamoto: Nina Sanada, you might be a legend but I don’t intend to lose. This briefcase and title match contract inside is my Cinderella Story redemption, it won’t be leaving me.
Midori with her own short and straightforward response as she drops the mic and as “Ashes” by Lynch plays one more time. JET cuts to its first intermission.

Qualifying Match/Tag Match:
Jessica Rose w/Rei Kagura and Yukiko Kusanagi vs. Na Fionna and Tani Yamanaka
With the opportunity to be in the main event, both teams wanted this win. Yukiko Kusanagi teamed with Jessica Rose to face off against Na Fionna and Tani Yamanaka in the third qualifying match of the evening. It started with Fionna and Tani having the early advantage but with the help of some dirty tactics, Yukiko and Jessica were able to get the advantage of working over the back of Tani’s neck. Both women would rotate in and out of the match to work on Tani and the match would slowly turn into a grind as Jessica made sure that Tani couldn’t get to her tag partner.
Eventually, the cockiness got the better of them and Fionna was able to get herself in the ring. The crowd explodes with cheers once she got in, the fiery young star was able to take it to both Yukiko and Jessica, even nailing a running knee to both. In the end, it was Jessica and Yukiko who prevail. All thanks to a Rose Trigger from Jessica.
(Winners - Yukiko Kusanagi and Jessica Rose)

The camera shifts to a video package, it seems to be a dark, abandoned warehouse. A few lights turn on and the DESPERADOS flag is hanging on the wall. More importantly, the JET National Champion SAIKO has taken her seat on what seems to be a broken-down couch. She is tightly holding onto her JET National Championship, running her fingers along the gold belt.
SAIKO: I told you all, didn’t I! That I would take this championship away from Rio Kurokawa and make it mine. With JUNKO still holding the JET World Championship, Q and Zhang as tag champions, DESPERADOS holds all the power.
This prize of mine is never leaving me. I will never let it leave my clutches ever.
SAIKO continues to play with her prized possession before she resumes speaking.
SAIKO: But something about watching the JET World Championship match, seeing KAGUYA and JUNKO making one another bleed. It made me remember about Sendai Spotlight. It got me thinking about the night where I found my one, true rival. It got me thinking of the so-called Ace. The woman I want to face the most! My precious Zuki!
Mizuki, aren’t you tired of just regular old tag and singles match against me? You aren’t some well-mannered Ace, what you really are is a bloody warrior. I want to see that side because it’s the only thing that I fear the most! So stop playing around with this idea of a dream match against Diantha and look at who wants to face the most.
Mizuki, we’re headed to America next month. We already showed Japan what we are able to do to one another, now let’s show the rest of the world.
SAIKO begins to look dead serious at the camera.
Be free, Zuki! Lose some blood, ruin the ring canvas one more time with me because I want to face you and only you for this championship!
I’ll be waiting for you, my precious challenger!
SAIKO begins to laugh as the video package ends with SAIKO clutching her championship.

Pre-Match:
NAMI and Wolfegang Symphony make their entrances, the crowd booed as Naomi announced NAMI as the new JET Academy Championship.
New Generation Army made their entrances and even though IZM wasn’t champion, the crowd was still behind her 100% percent. As “The Ytse Jam” died down, “Touch Off” by UVERworld begins to play but no sign of Sora Todoh. The crowd begins to wonder where Sora is, the camera cuts backstage where Sora is being beaten down by… JESSICA ROSE!!
Yoko Kudo and the backstage crew have to pull Jessica away from Sora. Yoko is furious and says that Jessica has lost her place in the battle royal.
Meanwhile back at ringside NAMI and Wolfegang are telling referee Hana Oikawa to turn the match into a 2-on-1 handicap. Just as she is about to do so…. ”Footloose” by Kenny Loggins” begins to play! The hardcore fans of the Joshi scene in attendance begin to roar in excitement. Smiles on both the faces of Saki and IZM as ASA KAWADA makes her way out from the back. All three members of the New Generation Army reunited at last in JET! NAMI looks absolutely furious and the same goes with Wolfegang Symphony.
Qualifying Match/Six-Woman Tag Match:
New Generation Army (Saki Misawa, Asa Kawada, IZM) vs. NAMI and Wolfegang Symphony (Bethany Sharpe and Vivina Wolfe)
The crowd was red hot as they seemed to want Asa to start the match. Vivina was the one who squared off against Asa and immediately the Wolfegang Member mocked about her much younger opponent’s height. For her comment, Asa booted her right in the jaw a loud positive ovation. The match was all NGA until NAMI and Wolfegang Symphony were able to turn the tides and trap IZM in their corner.
The former Academy Champion was still dealing with some pains from her title match at Nagoya Spotlight and her opponents saw this as an opening to work on IZM’s ribs. Both Asa and Saki tried to get IZM to make the tag to her but each time she was either cut off by NAMI, Vivina, or Bethany. But finally, after a long struggle, IZM was able to get the tag to Saki! The crowd reception was loud and positive as Saki was on fire and got to show off her amazing athleticism. The crowd was 100% behind NGA as Saki squared off against NAMI at the endpoint of the match.
The finish of the match saw NAMI’s Velvet Blood get countered as NAMI was able to pair and parry, nailing the Academy Champion with a Rolling Elbow Kai! Both Vivina and Bethany tried to intervene but they were cut off by IZM and Asa respectively. Saki saw this chance as she went up to the top rope and was able to nail NAMI with Emerald Idol Elbow for the win!
(Winners - New Generation Army)
Post-Match:
Saki, Asa, and IZM celebrated their win as Saki made it clear that she was the next challenger thanks to her pinning the champion. She immediately made her challenge for a title match at Collision Course III.

JUNKO teases a couple of kicks, but Sara is staying focus as JUNKO teases her with a lock-up. Sara is leery about it but slowly approaches JUNKO. Both women are down as that took everything Sara had to pull that off. JUNKO is slowly getting to her feet, but Sara is showing no signs of moving. JUNKO is on her feet and goes to attack the downed Sara, but the referee forces JUNKO to the corner as she checks on Sara. Sara is slowly getting to her feet as JUNKO taunts her. Sara returns the taunt back and JUNKO snickers a bit. Sara charges and JUNKO goes to move, but Sara catches her with a Front Dropkick sending her into the corner post. JUNKO is out, and Sara moves her away from the corner as she heads up to the second rope. Sara-Hyperion. Sara lands it and covers. JUNKO kicks out at two-and-three-quarters.
Sara is shocked by this as she thought she had it. Sara lifts JUNKO up and hits a Bridging Northern Lights Suplex, but JUNKO kicks out at one. JUNKO raises Sara back up and nails the Shadow Flash. JUNKO covers, but Sara kicks out at two. JUNKO lands another Shadow Flash, and Sara taunts JUNKO for another one. JUNKO is angered by this and hits another one. Sara drops to the mat, but JUNKO wants to make sure she wins. She lifts Sara into a Fireman's Carry position and lands the Dark Impulse. JUNKO covers, but somehow Sara kick out at two. Sara is showing the true spirit of never giving up, but JUNKO isn't impressed. Sara, barely able to stand on her feet, looks and JUNKO and taunts her by saying, "You can't finish me." JUNKO hits a fierce combination of a Spinning Back Kick to Sara's stomach followed by a Lifting DDT and finished with Dark Star Press. Yoko Kudo soon unveils what she is hiding as it’s a certificate. She congratulates Sara on graduating out of Young Girl status and welcomes her onto the “main” roster of JET.
Sara gets a hold of her certificate before bowing in front of the JET and thanking Yoko, promising that she won’t let her down. Yoko nods and leaves as the rest of Sara’s fellow young girls congratulate her and hug her. The camera soon cuts away for the final intermission.

Main Event:
BATTLE ROYAL
WINNER FACES JET WORLD CHAMPION AT COLLISION COURSE III
SECOND AND THIRD PLACE WILL BE JET’S REPRESENTATIVE IN THE 2021 QOTW.
The main event was set, all the qualifiers and now it was time to see who would face the JET World Champion. A lot of heavy favorites and some underdogs, a few competitors have competed already and it showed that they were still tired from their previous matches. As the bell rung, everyone got into their pairs and brawled. Notable pairs were SAIKO/Mizuki, HULK/Machiko, Rio/Hannah, and Makiya/Diantha. The match progressed with eliminations at a regular rate.
Notably, during this match, SAIKO and MIZUKI eliminated one another early to the shock of the crowd. Mizuki seemed absolutely furious but all SAIKO had was a smile on her face and told Mizuki that she wasn’t going to be allowed to challenge any other champion until they had their title match. Other moments included HULK being able to showcase her strength and just military press Jessica Rose out of the ring without a problem.
Hannah Rockford was able to get some measure of revenge against Rio Kurokawa for their National Title match as she nailed her with a Gen-Z Knee, eliminating her early. Both Machiko and Yuki were able to eliminate one-half of the tag champs each. With Yuki roundhouse kicking Zhang out cold followed by Machiko dumping Q out with a powerbomb.
NAMI also made her presence known despite not being in the match as Oni Ushii attacked Saki Misawa and eliminated her.
The final five for this match were Natsu Toyama, IZM, Diantha Rosso, HULK, and Ai Moe. The match turned into an excellent five-way match as everyone shined in this match. Natsu was the first to go despite looking strong in the end. IZM was the next to fall as the crowd got to see a future big PPV matchup between her and HULK. Both of them nailed one another with chops, lariats and elbows but eventually IZM fell a little blade followed by a powerbomb to the outside.
And with that, the final three were set. The underdog Ai Moe, the multi-time world champ and the young star HULK, one of these three will be No1 Contender and the other two will be in the Queen Of the World tournament.
HULK was impressive as she handled everything both of her foes threw at her and responded back with HUGE strikes. Diantha nailed a Burning Moon but it seemed to have only stunned HULK. One more Burning Moon but it was the same result as HULK was only stunned. HULK dodged Diantha’s third bicycle knee and nailed the former OWA Women’s Champion with a BRUTAL Little Blade Lariat!
Ai Moe tried to intervene but she got nailed with a Little Blade as well. HULK’s two opponents were down and she saw this chance to get the win as she tried to vertical suplex both of her opponents out at the same time. The crowd was amazed at HULK’s pure strength as she was able to lift both up with no effort and even get them over the rope. Diantha and Ai joined forces and both nailed a rope assisted enzuigiri to the back of HULK’s head. That was enough for both of them to pull HULK out of the ring leaving both Ai and Diantha as the final two.
Both women were on the apron and fought hard to make the other drop to the floor. Diantha tried for a Burning Moon but Ai Moe blocked it. Moe went low as she pushed Diantha away and nailed her with a low dropkick. That had Diantha go down to one knee despite being on the apron. Ai proceeded to nail Diantha with a roundhouse kick but Diantha had a hold of the ropes.
The match saw it’s end as Ai nailed Diantha with a single wrist lock Love Is A Battlefield! Diantha took all of that Kamigoye and tumbled to the floor. The bell soon run declaring Ai Moe as the winner.
(Winner - Ai Moe)
*Diantha Rosso and HULK qualify into the Queen Of The World tournament*
Post-Match:
“Utakata Hanabi” by DAOKO feat. Kenshi Yonezu as Ai is leaning against the ropes as sweat pours down her face. She just got one of the biggest victories of her career and now she’s the next challenger for the JET World Championship. So many emotions are flowing through her at this moment as she motions for a mic. The music dies down as Ai is given her mic.
Ai Moe: Korokuen! How’d you like the match? Did you like it? Did you love it?!
The fans chant and cheer a reply to her question. Her heavy breathing begins to slow as she catches her breath. We can see a big smile plastered from ear to ear.
Ai Moe: Not since i debuted two years ago in Suzuki Blitz Wrestling have i gotten anywhere near this level. Not since let down all of Yokohama… But that was then. I was young and dumb.
She says with a saddened look on her face.
Ai Moe: But now? Now with all your love and embrace I stand in front of you as a changed woman. I’ve grown so much thanks to help from Sakazaki-sama. Thanks to Miyamoto-san pushing me to new limits. Thanks to each and every one of you who’ve cheered me on since the very beginning!
Ai’s voice begins to crack a little as her emotions start to overtake her.
Ai Moe: With all of you I’ll do whatever it takes to end the plague that is JUNKO. Do you hear me?! This isn’t the girl who made crude jokes and used dirty moves to win. This isn’t the same girl who used this business to sell dvds to fans. No… this is the woman who loves pro wrestling. The woman who loves JET. The woman who’ll show the world just how powerful love can be! Because with love you can go anywhere in this world.
She looks at the camera now.
Ai Moe: And with the power of love, JUNKO i’m going to give you the greatest fight of my entire life. Not my career. Of my life. Because this upcoming match at Collision Course three is the single most important moment of my young life. And you have another thing coming if you think for a moment i’ll just lay down easy for you or anyone!
Ai Moe: but Korukuen i’m afraid our time is up. But never forget… AISHITEMA-
Before she can finish her sentence a familiar tune begins to play. “Spitfire” by Prodigy plays as JUNKO makes her way out from the back and it seems that she isn’t flanked by her stablemates. Of course, the JET World Champion rests on top of her shoulder as always. She enters the ring and simply raises her championship in the air. Ai Moe looks the most determined that she has ever been in a long time. The final shot of JET 45 is both challenger and champion staring each other down.
