(Opening Recap of both New World Revolution events, every bout is given some attention and all the major events that happened on JET’s first two International PPVs. And of course, what happened at the end of New World Revolution USA, JUNKO’s brutal assault against JET World Champion Midori Miyamoto.)
(After the recap, the JET Season 4 Intro plays until the camera cuts to the live Korakuen crowd. jam-packed and ready to go for today’s doubleheader show.)
Maki Fujioka: Everyone, we’re back home! New World Revolution was one of the most successful series of events that we’ve
Asuka Kuramochi: What a last couple of weeks, JET has had! We took over the international wrestling scene with two incredible shows and what an experience, the chance to call a show at Madison Square Garden was so exciting! We’ve got a great doubleheader for you tonight as we’re on the road to Fuji-Q Highland! And JET 53 is absolutely stacked to set the tone for tonight. A JET Academy Title defense, Two No.1 Contender matches, AND the start of the 2021 Biggest Dreamer tournament!
Maki Fujioka: But first, something needs to be addressed… despite her actions at the end of NWRUSA, JUNKO is being allowed to challenge for the JET World Championship in a wager match. Her faction’s life for an opportunity at Midori Miyamoto’s title. We’ve got a contract signing and it’s coming right up.
Opening Segment:
As expected, knowing the two were heated rivals and despised one another as no other two people can, there was a hired security team to make sure nothing went wrong. The challenger JUNKO was out and as expected she was smug and happy about the actions that helped her get this title rematch. The champion Midori Miyamoto was borderline pissed as she looked like she wanted to rush past security and attack JUNKO but fortunately for Yoko Kudo, she was controlling her temper. Both had a chance to speak and take shots at one another with whatever vial comments that they wanted. Midori reminded JUNKO that every time they faced off for the JET World title, Midori has won. The record is 2-0 for the Hybrid Champion. That’s when Yoko Kudo intervened and announced their match at Fuji-Q is going to be different. Not only will it be a Wager Match but also a two out of three falls, a special kind.
A THREE STAGES OF HELL MATCH!
The crowd was excited to hear the noise of that! Both competitors knew the dangers of the match and JUNKO asked what the stipulations will be. Yoko Kudo let them know that only the first stage has been decided and it will be a pinfall-only singles match. The other two will be decided by champion and challenger. They have till next week’s show to decide.
Both competitors agreed to the terms and signed the control, letting the other word that they will walk out of Fuji-Q as JET World Champion.

Opening Match:
Seijun Kanemoto vs. Misaki Suzuki
Misaki and Seijun meet in the center of the ring for a staredown and even though the height difference is clearly shown, shorter Seijun shows no fear as Misaki looks really intimidating towards her. She lands the first strike by stomping on Misaki's foot then runs to the rope, evading all the offense of Misaki until she's overwhelmed with Seijun's high-velocity movement. Once Misaki is losing her guard, Seijun launches a sliding Low Dropkick, hitting Misaki's leg so hard, she flips and hits the mat hard. The referee checks on the impact of that strike but Seijun just casually approaches the downed Misaki and stomps that damaged leg area a couple of times.
For most of the time, Seijun is targeting her tall opponent's legs, dismantling her with strikes until Misaki fights back with a roundhouse kick that also hurts her. Both women are down but Misaki gains her momentum as she lands a huge big boot and knocks Seijun down. Misaki needs time to recover from the damage on her leg and seems like she's ready to grabs her neck for a Chokeslam. But Seijun manages to slip through in mid-air and kicks Misaki in the damaged leg once again, sending Misaki down to the mat. Without any time, Seijun locks into the My Scarlet Regalia (Final Lancer). Misaki taps out and the momentum for the JET Academy Championship challenger is still going strong.
(Winner - Seijun Kanemoto)

SAKURA vs. Rio Kurokawa
In the final tournament match of JET 53, it was the powerhouse SAKURA facing off against the inaugural JET National Champion Rio Kurokawa. Both women are coming off losses in their respective four-way matches at NWRUK and NWRUSA. It was power versus technique as Rio Kurokawa was playing smart and making sure to target SAKURA’s right arm. Every bit of offense was efficient from SAKURA, she made sure to tear away at her arm with submissions at the same time. Unfortunately, she couldn’t put down SAKURA and a comeback was inevitable, SAKURA connected with huge strikes and power moves but when it came to finishing the match, the more experienced Rio Kurokawa was the one who came out on top with a Ketsueki Toll (Bridging Dragon Suplex)
(Winner and advancing to Round 2 - Rio Kurokawa)

“Rising Hope" erupts from the speaker, walks Momoko Honda from behind the curtain, and roars cheers from the JET fans. Momoko, wearing her JET t-shirt, shorts, and sneakers, walks down the ramp to the ring. After sliding inside, she is handed a microphone.
Momoko Honda: "At New World Revolution, Momo-chan walked in with one goal, and that was revenge, but it won't only for myself also IZM as well."
Fans have been to clap, approving of the actions of Momoko.
Momoko Honda: " Tomoyo-san what was coming to her. Once she attacked IZM, she was on borrowed time, and she figured the assaults on me wouldn't end in consequences. At war happened at New World Revolution, Tomoyo-san unlocked a side of me that she shouldn't have and it cost her."
Momoko pauses for a minute, looking at the crowd.
Momoko Honda: "I's have one more obstacle left for the revenge to be complete, and that is Haruna-Onēsan.
Boos begin to flood the arena.
Momoko Honda: "All of this started because of you Haruna-Onēsan, you saw Momo-chan as a threat. You show a new generation of Joshi being established, and you came out of retirement to end it. Your era was slowly fading away, and you refused for the times to pass you by. You managed to take out IZM, beat Momo-chan at Cinderella Story XV, and beat Azumi-Onēsan at New World Revolution; proud of yourself, you are.
Momoko nods her head, accepting the truth.
Momoko Honda: "The thing about it Haruna-Onēsan, you needed Tomoyo-san to help you defeat me. You had to go the cheap way out, so how we go one more time. How about you make that so-called win you are proud of valid because Haruna-Onēsan, no matter what the records books say, could you say honestly you defeat me by your own hands? Let's do this one more time because as it goes, this is not over yet."
“Rising Hope” plays again to a huge ovation of cheers from the fans as Momoko exits the ring.
Asuka Kuramochi: Well, you heard it here first! Momoko Honda wants a rematch against Haruna Sakazaki and I hope she does get that!
Maki Fujioka: Unfortunately we won’t know till next week as Haruna Sakazaki is not here tonight.

There was an extra stipulation that Jessica Rose would be suspended if she didn’t win here tonight. The match was extremely competitive but as expected, Jessica took control in the early portion using her training in British Technical Wrestling to break down the champion’s right leg. Everything was going Jessica’s way until she missed a Rose Trigger attempt and Sora immediately fought back with a comeback. The match soon became a competitive back and forth bout with multiple near falls with the closest one being Sora kicking out of a standing Dreaded Rose.
Luckily for the champion, her challenger’s anger was she needed to win as she connected with one Shin-Ryu Suplex to put away Jessica Rose and force her to leave JET for an unknown amount of time.
(Winner and still JET Academy Champion - Sora Todoh)

The champion was allowed to close JET53 as Sora’s clumsiness kicked in as she said “Good Evening” instead of “Good Afternoon”. After that mess was sorted, Sora thanked the fans for appearing tonight and telling everyone that she hopes to be Academy Champion forever. Just as the champion was telling the fans to “Check It Out”, she was assaulted from behind by her next challenger Seijun Kanemoto. The Celestial Valkyrie connected with Love & Death as she held the Academy Championship up high in the air for everyone to see while looking down at Sora and saying the words.

NAMI and The Swarm took advantage of Machiko’s bad run of form to make her the target of their assault after an assault from Hannah and Midori. Post Match:
JUNKO was interested in Machiko as she took off her DESPERADOS armband and passed it to Machiko as an offer. Interestingly, Machiko was having a good look at the armband but soon left it on the ground. The closing promo of JET 54 belonged to Midori Miyamoto who told JUNKO that she had some news for her challenger, she had come to conclusion about her choice for one of the stages of hell.
She’s beaten JUNKO by pinfall in their previous meeting but she wants to put an end to this blood feud by making JUNKO TAP OUT! Her choice is a submission match!

The show ends with Midori and Hannah celebrating as Machiko seems to still be looking at the armband.
