Sora turns to JUNKO and points as she stands over the leader of DESPERADOS.
“I couldn’t beat you before, but I’m no longer the foolish rookie staring up at the heavens! Now my arms are long enough to box with God!”
The Sapporo crowd applauded Sora’s words as they encouraged her to keep speaking. Sora nods in approval to keep her eyes on JUNKO who can only glare up in silence.
“It doesn’t matter how many times I need to prove myself or how many I need to fight to get back to you. The next time we stand across from each other, will be the last day you underestimate me and the last time you’ll be JET World Champion! I was trained by a Queen to defeat other Queens! I’m a Killer Queen! One day I’ll surpass my master, but first I’ll surpass you! See you soon...Queen JUNKO!”

Midori Miyamoto: Ai? Once again, I need to thank you for another amazing match. We seem to create history each time that we step into the ring. And I am sorry that my victory has caused you pain once again. But truth be told, it is a similar pain that keeps propelling me forward.
She pauses for a moment.
Midori Miyamoto: Time and time again, I’ve put my body and well being on the line for the betterment of this promotion. In fact, I’ve always put the company first, even when it came at my detriment. I’ve sacrificed so much―
Midori halts herself.
Midori Miyamoto: But those sacrifices are never respected.
A moment passes.
Midori Miyamoto: It’s time to stop trying to help people who don’t want to be saved. It’s time to start focusing on what I desire.

In the end, it took half a dozen Burning Moons and a Diantha Driver for Rosso to pick up the win, solidifying her status at the top of the block even more.
Match 5: SAIKO [5] defeated Hannah Rockford [6] The semi-main was a rematch from this past June event, New World Revolution UK where Hannah defeated SAIKO to capture the JET National Championship that she still holds right now. This bout was much more wilder compared to their NWRUK match with a brawl on the outside before the bout even started. Both threw everything at one another with no care for one another. In the end, SAIKO secured the win with Psycho Impaler after Hannah kicked out of the Dagger of Onryo.

Momoko moves on to six points while Mei stays at four.

Momoko breaths for a second. She was collecting her thoughts.
Momoko: "Gaining I have gained six points now, but still it's a long way to go for Momo-chan. The intensity has gotten even higher now, so Momo-chan has to work even harder."
The fans clap, Momoko gives a smile. Momoko looks over at Mei-san in one of the ring corners catching her breath.
Momoko: "This won't be the last time I face Mei-san in the RISE Grand Prix; I know next time it will be even harder to defeat you, and I will be ready for another bout. I know the other women back there is bring a big fight as well, and I have to tell you I look forward to the competition."
Momo-chan walks around the ring slightly.
Momoko: "RISE Grand Prix is Momo-chan to show the world that I am one of the best. Many have called Momo-chan the future of Joshi, a future pillar and future ace of this promotion. But I am going to show that the future is right now, and Momo-chan is going to put the stamp on that after this tournament."

Match 3: Seijun Kanemoto [4] defeated Midori Miyamoto [8] Academy Champion vs. 2020 GPWinner. With the halfway mark of GP 2021 coming soon, this match built up to everything that it was billed to be. Fast-paced but yet still technical and precise. Both competitors went at it for nearly 15 and in the end, it was the Academy Champion Seijun Kanemoto who walked out with a win thanks to a Love & Death for the win.
Match 4: NAMI [4] defeated Ai Moe [4] With both competitors at four points, the possibility that one of them gets eliminated sometime soon might be the case. Both competitors have very similar sets of skills in the ring and it showed as both NAMI and Ai Moe hit similar offensive moves. In the end, It was the Golden Queen who walks out with a win as she moves up to six points with two back-to-back Velvet Blood Kicks.

Hinata did all she could to break down Mizuki but in the end, the Ace’s fighting spirit was able to overcome it and Mizuki secured the win with a Ganymede.
Pre-match:
Q: It’s about time you all start putting some respect on Ya Girl Q’s name. Since Day One of stepping into JET, I have dominated every single match. Whether it be my Tag Team Title reign, the 2021 Biggest Dreamer Tournament or this JET Strong Championship, I have toppled nearly every feat that has been placed before me. And why? Because I’m that much better than others around me. It’s no wonder I was recruited straight away into KAGUYA-sun and later Desperados. Game recognizes game.
Q: And I’ll tell you what game I don't recognize. It doesn’t recognize Natsu Toyama. That’s because she doesn't belong in this JET RISE Grand Prix. If you haven’t recognized just yet, 2021 is the Year of Q. I’ve already run through one tournament this year. Now is the time to take the 2021 RISE Grand Prix. And that next accolade in the Year of Q goes straight through Natsu Toyama and goes straight through her I will. I am not known as the greatest JET Strong Champion just for my sheer talent. It’s also because I’m not afraid to dump a bish on their head like I’m about to do Natsu Toyama.
Main Event: Q [4] defeated Natsu Toyama [6] In the main event, it was Q vs. Natsu Toyama and the opportunity for both to push and catch up. Strength and Athleticism vs. speed and daredevil style. Both competitors had their unique styles and it meshed really well in this match. Both have a history against one another as well. Q beat Natsu in this past Biggest Dreamer tournament and the STRONG Champion was able to do it again. A big win for Q as she connected with a Q’s Landing which put down Natsu for the three count.

That one was a short match with a surprise ending, this one went for 14 minutes. SAKURA was outmatched for a good portion of the bout by Hannah Rockford but it wasn’t a big move that put down the National Champion, it was SAKURA countering the Night City Driver into a jackknife pin for the win.
Match 4: Sora Todoh [6] defeated SAIKO [7] Match 4 was a fast paced one between Sora Todoh and SAIKO. Both were currently in the middle of the pack with the chance to go past the other. Sora now moves up to eight points and catching up with the block leader.
Match 5: Momoko Honda [6] defeated Yukiko Kusanagi [8] In the semi-main, it was the Star Warrior taking on The Demolition Angel. Yukiko has been starting to get a bit unhinged after suffering her first two losses of the tournament. It almost like she wanted to tear apart Momoko’s right leg and she did just that but in the end, Momoko’s fighting spirit prevailed. A series of Tsunami Strikes almost helped Momoko win but Yukiko fought out of it. The match ended after the 22 minute as Momoko countered the Bosuki Driver into a Galactic Overdrive for the win.
Main Event: Diantha Rosso [10] defeated JUNKO w/Rei Kagura [7] In the main event, it was the first time ever match-up between JUNKO and Diantha Rosso. To no one’s surprise, JUNKO tried to cheat all through the match with the help of Rei Kagura. Diantha fought back against the cheating with no issue at all. Both competitors fought right until the final few minutes of the 30-minute time limit for this bout. The finish of this match saw Diantha slip out of a Dark Impulse attempt and connect with a Burning Moon to the back of JUNKO’s head. This was soon followed by a Heavenly Lioness Claw and finally a Diantha Driver for the win.
Post-Match: Diantha was exhausted but got up from her hellacious battle. She was the one who got to close tonight’s show and did so proudly, making it clear that she’ll be the first foreigner to win the RISE Grand Prix but at the same time, she made it clear to JUNKO that if she doesn’t win. Hold onto the JET World Championship tightly, because she’ll be coming for it.
DAY 14 SEPTEMBER 8TH CULTZ KAWASAKI IN KAWASAKI, KANAGAWA, JAPAN
Undercard: - YOKAI and Akari defeated Keiko Express - DESPERADOS (Yuna Miyamoto and Julia Zhang) defeated Spring TORA and Misaki Suzuki
Match 1: NAMI [6] defeated Makiya Kusanagi [2] In the opening contest, it was NAMI vs. Makiya Kusanagi. With the announcement made that she would be leaving JET following GP, it was more about making sure that Makiya ends her time on a high note. Unfortunately, it wouldn’t be tonight as the Golden Queen continues her great run of form by defeating Makiya with Plastic Surgery. NAMI moves up to eight points now, catching up with the block leader BIANCA.
Match 2: Q [6] defeated BIANCA [10] Two of B Block’s strongest competitors collide in a first-ever match. It was DESPERADOS’ super athlete versus OWA Odyssey’s Top Tier. Both women were equal in strength despite Q being much shorter than her foe. The match was both women hitting one another with powerful blows, one after another but in the end, it was the JET STRONG Champion who was able to prevail with a series of suplexes and one Q’s Lament.
Match 3: Ai Moe [4] defeated Sara Ashiya [2] With Sara Ashiya already eliminated from this year’s GP, now it was all about capturing as many points as possible and this year’s tournament on a high note. Meanwhile, Ai Moe had a small chance of winning her block but she couldn’t afford to lose. The Top Kawaii Machine put everything she had into this bout and fought with no intention of losing tonight or against any other. Ai Moe was able to put down Sara Ashiya with a perfect “Love Is A Battlefield” for the win!
Match 4: Seijun Kanemoto [6] defeated Masumi Tsutsumi [8] Similar to every match tonight, it was all about making the final push towards the top of their GP Block especially with only four rounds after this one. That can be best shown by how vicious Seijun Kanemoto has been in the past few matches. Many believe that the Academy Champion has underperformed in this year’s GP but her recent win over Midori Miyamoto gave her the boost in confidence needed. So in a fast-paced 14-minute bout, Kanemoto was able to put away Tsutsumi with a Love & Death.
Match 5: Midori Miyamoto [8] defeated Hinata Tatsuo [6] In the semi-main, it was a first-time matchup. The commentators felt bad for Hinata Tatsuo as she faced off Mizuki Nakata last round and this round she faces off with Midori Miyamoto. Regardless of that the NEON Dragon didn’t back down against the Hybrid Dragon. Similar to her match with Mizuki, Hinata threw everything at Midori and there were moments where it looked like Tatsuo was gonna beat Miyamoto but in the end, she couldn’t put away the defending RISE GP winner and fell to a Busaiku Knee followed by a Valkyrie’s Last Ride.
Main Event: Natsu Toyama [6] defeated Mizuki Nakata [8] The main event was a rematch from the 2019 GP Finals. The heart and soul of JET faced off as Mizuki Nakata battled Natsu Toyama one more time. Despite the size disadvantage, Natsu Toyama showed that she was Mizuki’s equal in the ring. Both women didn’t hesitate to throw huge moves at one another as Mizuki connected with multiple Exploder Suplexes, including one onto the padding-covered floor. In the end, both competitors almost went the distance but Natsu was able to put down Mizuki with the most dangerous move in her arsenal, the Joshi Star Drop. After two years, Natsu finally gets her win over Mizuki Nakata.
Post-Match: After the match, both Natsu and Mizuki shook hands and hugged. The Ace soon let Natsu have her moment as she got to close the show in front of a red crowd in Cultz Kawasaki. Natsu took this time to thank Mizuki for being the best rival and friend that she could ask for and at the same time, she declared her intention to win this year’s GP calling her opponent for this Saturday’s show Midori Miyamoto.

DAY 15 SEPTEMBER 10TH HAMAMATSU ARENA IN HAMAMATSU, JAPAN
Undercard: - Yokai defeated Saya Oliva - Yuna Miyamoto defeated Aoi Kitamura
Main Card:
- JUNKO GETS TWO POINTS DUE TO JEI SATASUKA'S FIRING.
Match 1: Sora Todoh [8] defeated SAKURA [4] In the opener of Night 15, the already eliminated SAKURA tried to slow down Sora Todoh's momentum but the Shooting Star has been on a roll and SAKURA tried her best, it just wasn’t good enough to keep Sora down. Eventually, Todoh won with a Shin-Ryu Suplex and scores her fourth straight win.
Match 2: SAIKO [7] defeated Machine Hasegawa [6] Match 2 of Night 15 never got going as Machiko just laid down and gave SAIKO the win. Hasegawa mathematically eliminated herself to give SAIKO a better chance.
Match 3: Mei Namikaze [6] defeated Yukio Kusanagi [8] The fall of Yukiko Kusanagi has been a major story of the GP as the Demolition Angel started out 4-0 only to lose three straight matches. On the other side, Mei Namikaze was fighting for her tournament survival and she was going all out to make sure that she was still in contention to win her block. In the end, after 12 minutes it was Mei who walked away with a win following a Kamme No Kata.
Post-Match: After the match, Yukiko Kusanagi exploded in anger as she threw chairs around, almost hitting a few members of the backstage crew.
Match 4: Momoko Honda [8] defeated HULK [6] In the semi-main, HULK was fighting for her tournament survival as she faced off against Momoko Honda. The Star Warrior was trying to catch up with the block leaders. Both competitors gave it their absolute all. HULK nailed Honda with multiple Little Blade lariats but couldn't connect with either of her powerbomb finishers. This caused HULK to get desperate as she went up to the top for a HULK Splash but she missed. Honda soon connected with a Galactic Overdrive for the win. HULK has been mathematically eliminated from the 2021 GP. There seemed to be no hate between both competitors as they shook hands after the match.
Main Event: Hannah Rockford [8] defeated Diantha Rosso [12] In the main event, JET's two biggest foreign talents went at it. If Diantha won here, it would have widened the gap between her and the rest of A Block. Hannah was in this match to put a stop to that. This main event went for nearly 25 minutes, Diantha had control for a good portion of this match as she worked on Hannah's knee but Rockford made her eventual comeback. Surviving multiple Burning Moons and escaping a Diantha Driver attempt before connecting with a Gen-Z Knee. Diantha kicked out but a Night City Driver was able to put away the former Odyssey star.
Post-Match:
(With the match over, Hannah is given a live microphone as she stands in front of the Japanese crowd - the title draped over her shoulder - and with a smile on her face as she leans against the ropes.)
Hannah Rockford: Although I might not be standing on top of the A Block, I feel like a winner. I feel like a leader. I feel victory within my grasp and after beating Diantha Rosso, I can say that I am one step closer to achieving what I’ve solely desired all along. To win the Rise Grand Prix and go for the JET World Championship. Something I know is a far stretch indeed but it’s something I’ve always wanted - whether I lose or I don’t - it’s a dream to be able to hold.
(Hannah soon cracks a smile.)
Hannah Rockford: I started out the journey of my succession when I won the right to challenge this championship here and held the Miss Manami Tributary Shield, then as the months went by, I won the JET National Championship and hell -- I even got to make my entrance with Rina Sawayama -- which was pretty fucking cool if you ask me. This leads to this moment here, which leads to this very tournament, which leads to the Rise Grand Prix, and soon leading to a match for the JET World Championship. I started out this year hoping to make a change for the good of my career after trial and error throughout the past two years and goddammit I will make it fucking work.
(The Japanese crowd begins to cheer.)
Hannah Rockford: I’ve spent two years in Japan and I’ve spent two years fighting for every single thing that I’ve got right now, and now, after those two years of scratching and clawing and waiting for the right moment and the right opportunity? I can vouch for this tournament to be mine. I will win the A Block, I will win the Rise Grand Prix, and even with the National Championship in my hands, I will make damn sure of my promise to headline and challenge for the World Championship. Diantha Rosso is the first, and soon, so will everyone else and I will top this block with enough points to make it to the finals. Mark my words on that promise.
(Hannah soon takes a deep breath and looks around the arena to see the support for her.)
Hannah Rockford: I’m not going anywhere anytime soon, I can make sure of that, and that’s a worrying thing for anyone that’s gotta face me in the future because I’m going to run through everyone with a burning fire that’s been building up for the past two years. So, I will see everyone in the finals, and I will see whoever is the JET World Champion very soon. Thank you, everyone!
(‘STFU!’ is played through the speakers as Hannah drops the microphone and waves to the crowd with the championship held up high before exiting the ring and heading to the back.)
DAY 16 SEPTEMBER 11TH HIROSHIMA SUN PLAZA IN HIROSHIMA, JAPAN
Undercard: - Tani Yamanaka defeated Julia Zhang
Main Card:
Match 1: Q [8] defeated Makiya Kusanagi [2] The opening match saw Q square off against Makiya Kusanagi. Makiya had nothing much left to fight for outside of personal pride but Q still had a chance in this year’s GP. This bout just barely crossed the ten-minute mark but Makiya’s valiant effort couldn’t stop Q as the JET STRONG connected with a Q’s Landing for the win.
Match 2: Sara Ashiya [2] defeated NAMI [8] In the second match of the night, Sara Ashiya took on NAMI. Sara with nothing but the desire to end GP on a high note meanwhile NAMI still a shot of winning her block was gonna take no prisoners in this match. Instead of a win for the Golden Queen, it was a huge upset by the Sunlight Smile as she was able to counter NAMI’s Plastic Surgery into a forward roll and trap the former Academy Champion for the three count.
Match 3: Ai Moe [6] defeated Seijun Kanemoto [8] Ai Moe was fighting for her tournament survival, right from the start of GP. She was clawing her to the top from the bottom and the crowd was by her side all the way through it. Meanwhile, Seijun had some room and could afford a loss but she wanted to watch up and join the ten-point club. Both competitors were fighting for different but valid reasons and in the end, it was Ai Moe’s underdog spirit that prevailed as she connected with Love Is A Battlefield to put down the Academy Champion.
Match 4: Hinata Tatsuo [6] defeated Masumi Tsutsumi [8] Similar to the match above, this was about Hinata fighting for her survival and Masumi catching up. Tsutsumi had been in poor form going into this as she lost three of her last four and if she was gonna win GP, she needed to snap out of it and get the huge win. Unfortunately, Tsutsumi’s poor form would continue as Hinata got the win with a Neon Dragon Driver.
Match 5: Natsu Toyama [8] defeated Midori Miyamoto [10] In the semi-main, it was a rematch of Goddess Dream 2019 as Natsu Toyama squared off against Midori Miyamoto. Both competitors have grown and evolved tremendously since their feud two years ago and it showed in this match. Regardless of that, this bout was still incredible, high speed and high impact action for nearly 20 minutes. In the end, Natsu continued her streak of wins against former rivals with a Final Answer that put down Midori Miyamoto for the win. Toyama now joins Midori and BIANCA had the top of B Block.
Main Event: Mizuki Nakata [8] defeated BIANCA [10] In the main event, it was another rematch. BIANCA vs. Mizuki Nakata, a rematch from Cinderella Story 2018. A time before JET’s expansion but still an opportunity match in JET’s history where BIANCA ended Mizuki’s first reign as JET World Champion and put some doubt in Nakata about her spot as Ace. Mizuki never got that one-on-one rematch with BIANCA, so this was Mizuki’s chance. This bout was a hard-hitting affair, BIANCA’s powerful chops making most of the audience members wince especially after the sight of Mizuki’s upper chest turning bright red from impact. But Mizuki wasn’t the Ace for nothing as she fought back, connecting with her own series of strikes. The ending of the match saw Mizuki connect with not just one but TWO Nakata Family style Wrist-Clutch Exploder Suplexes followed by a Ganymede Moonsault for the win.
Post Match: With the hometown crowd chanting her name, Mizuki is given a mic. After a few moments to collect her breath, Mizuki finally lets out a passionate scream.
Mizuki Nakata (in Japanese): HIROSHIMA!!! TADAIMA!!!! (I’M BACK HOME!)
Crowd: Okaeri! (Welcome home!)
Mizuki Nakata: BIANCA before you go, could you please turn around for me?
BIANCA stops as she’s being helped to the back, turning her head and facing Mizuki.
Mizuki Nakata: I finally beat you but I know I haven’t beaten the real you. I beat some American knock-off, next time we face-off, I want to face the real BIANCA! After GP when you hear me challenge you to a match, I want you to accept it regardless of where you are in the world.
BIANCA doesn’t nod or answer as she soon leaves, Mizuki’s attention soon turns back to her hometown fans.
Mizuki Nakata: Now, did you all enjoy tonight’s show?! Did I steal the show for all of you?!
The crowd cheers loudly for Mizuki as she continues to speak.
Mizuki Nakata: Well that’s good! When we were here last month for Stardust Dream, I was in the opening match and couldn’t give you all the true big match that you wanted. So think of this as my way to redeem that for all of you.
GP is now getting extremely tough, we’re almost reaching the end and I’m gonna need more than my own personal strength, I need the strength from all of your support to win this! Are all of you with me!?
The crowd cheers once again for the Ace.
Mizuki Nakata: Well then! I promise to bring the RISE Grand Prix trophy back home to Hiroshima when I win!
AND WHEN I DO RETURN! I PROMISE TO STEAL THE SHOW ONCE AGAIN! LIKE ALWAYS!
“Rage of Dust” by Spyair as Mizuki begins to celebrate her win the ring, posing for the fans on the middle rope as the show comes to an end.

Match 1: Machiko Hasegawa [6] defeated SAKURA [4] In the opener, it was a battle between two competitors already eliminated from contention. SAKURA’s disadvantage was something she had to overcome and she put up an incredible fight but Machiko was able to outmuscle SAKURA to a win with a Hasegawa Lariat!
Match 2: HULK [6] defeated Yukiko Kusanagi [8] The second match was a rematch from New World Revolution USA as former JET STRONG Champion HULK took on her former challenger Yukiko Kusanagi. HULK was already eliminated, so it was all about ending the tournament on a positive and she could do that by winning her final three block stage matches. Meanwhile, Yukiko was fighting to keep her chances of winning A Block alive, going from winning four straight to now being on the verge of elimination was quite the drop for the Demolition Angel. The final result of the match saw HULK overcome Yukiko’s vicious assault to win with a Round Trip. Kusanagi is now mathematically eliminated from this year’s RISEGP.
Post-Match: Yukiko’s anger was now at an all-time high as she was pulling strands of her hair in pure frustration while tearing down the backstage table.
Match 3: Mei Namikaze [8] defeated SAIKO [9] Mei Namikaze’s second chance at revenge against Swarm as she took on JET Tag Champ and DESPERADOS’ second-in-command SAIKO. The young former tag champion didn't disappoint as she fought valiantly and overcame DESPERADOS run-ins during the match. SAIKO almost had the match won with a Dagger of Onryo but to the shock of everyone in attendance, Mei was still in this bout. The young star didn't give at all and in end, Namikaze stood tall with a win following a Kamme No Kata
Match 4: Sora Todoh [10] defeated Diantha Rosso [12] In the semi-main, it was a matchup between some of the top competitors of the block standings. With Hannah Rockford guaranteed to reach the 12 point mark thanks to her free win. This created an interesting situation, Diantha needed to win tonight to keep her block leader status alive or else Hannah would move into first place with tiebreakers against both Sora and Hannah. Unfortunately with Diantha pulling out some of the most brutal shots attacks that she’s ever delivered against poor Sora, it wasn’t enough as Todoh was the one who scored the win with a Shin-Ryu Suplex! Now there was a three-person tie for first place in A Block with one more match left for Night 17.
Main Event: JUNKO [9] defeated Momoko Honda [10] Following Jei Satasuka’s firing, an interesting developmental was found in Momoko Honda’s schedule. All three of her opponents will get the chance to rest before facing Momoko the following round. This time it was the JET World Champion who was coming off time to rest and that paid off as Honda was coming off a long and fierce battle against HULK! The JET World Champion was relentless at targeting her foe’s leg, making sure that Momoko Honda’s kicks would be out of the equation for this match. Regardless of that, the Star Warrior made her comeback and almost had the match won multiple different occasions In the end, it was JUNKO who stood tall as she won with a Dark Impulse.
DAY 18 SEPTEMBER 15 AICHI PREFECTURAL GYMNASIUM IN NAGOYA
Undercard: - Yuna Miyamoto defeated Satsuki Fujioka - Julia Zhang defeated Emiko Takase
Match 1: Sara Ashiya [4] defeat Makiya Kusanagi [2] In the opener, it was B Block’s bottom two competitors squaring off with the goal of finishing the tournament strong. It was, unfortunately, another loss for Makiya as the match ended following an eight-minute sprint with Sara scoring the win via Sara-German Suplex.
Match 2: Midori Miyamoto [10] defeated BIANCA [10] To the surprise of most, this match was the second of the night. It was due to the fact that the elimination matches were pushed to the top of the card. Regardless of that, the two former JET World Champions delivered with a perfect 14-minute match. Stiff strikes as both wanted to take the other’s head off with their signature strike but in the end, Midori handed BIANCA her consecutive with a Shattercryst.
Match 3: Mizuki Nakata [10] defeated Q [10] Similar to the match above, this bout between two of the five block leaders was pushed down the card for the elimination matches. Both Q and Mizuki matched up equally in terms of strength, so it was about who’s ability in the ring would lead them to victory. Unfortunately for the STRONG Champion, Mizuki had the momentum of beating her former rival on her side and that helped her secure the win with a Ganymede after an 18-minute slugfest.
Match 4: Natsu Toyama [10] defeated Masumi Tsutsumi [8] In the first match with an elimination factor to it, Masumi Tsutsumi needed to win to keep her tournament chances alive. Meanwhile, Natsu could end up taking the block lead if she wins here. Tsutsumi fired some powerful strikes and connected with brutal shots but in the end, it wasn’t enough to win tonight. Natsu Toyama scored the win following a Final Answer after the 16-minute mark. Masumi Tsutsumi is now mathematically eliminated from RISE GP 2021.
Match 5: Ai Moe [8] defeated Hinata Tatsuo [8] The first of two loser-gets-eliminated matches. Only one of these two fan favorites will be able to keep their tournament alive and the crowd was evenly split for both competitors. With this being for a do-or-die match for both women, they went all out. After twenty minutes of intense action, Hinata wrestled the best match of her young career but it wasn’t enough to overcome Ai Moe who was able to survive for one more round with a Love Is A Battlefield. As for Hinata, she’s mathematically eliminated from the RISE GP but the fans were chanting her name despite losing.
Main Event Seijun Kanemoto [8] defeated NAMI [8] Another loser-gets-eliminated match, this time it’s the current Academy Champion versus a former Academy Champion. With both competitors holding a 4-4 record, one will be able to move forward and keep their small chance of winning B Block alive while the other will be eliminated. With that being the case, it was another intense match as NAMI and Seijun threw everything at one another. Like Hinata vs. Ai Moe, this match went for twenty minutes and had multiple false finishes. In the end, it was the Celestial Valkyrie who was the last woman standing with a Kill La Kill for the win.
Post-Match: BAND-MAID’s “Puzzle” begins to play as Seijun Kanemoto uses the ropes to pull herself to her feet. Her celebration is a bit subdued as she ushers for her Academy Championship. She also demands a microphone to be brought to her.
Seijun Kanemoto: Before I start to carry on, let’s all give NAMI a round of applause.
She sarcastically claps her hands as she shakes her head. The audience doesn’t seem entertained by her mockery.
Seijun Kanemoto: This match was do or die for both of us. Elimination was on the horizon. That prospect frightens most people. But I viewed it as a chance to stand and revel in the glorious spotlight. That has been something that has separated me from the rest of the JET members in the back. It’s certainly what separated me from NAMI here tonight.
She nodded her head.
Seijun Kanemoto: Hmm? That stings, doesn’t it?
Seijun lets out a small laugh.
Seijun Kanemoto: However, that’s one of the reasons why I joined JET in the first place. To deliver the harsh truths. To teach the taxing lessons. And tonight? The lesson everyone had to learn was that NAMI wasn’t good enough―
Seijun begins to sense the crowd becoming uncomfortable. It causes her to smile.
Seijun Kanemoto: You don’t have to like me or my words. The greatest has always been hated and misunderstood. But please know this: regardless of how this tournament plays out, I’M still the woman to beat. Not the desperate stray dogs. Not washed out Midori. ME! And you all shall witness my glory firsthand.
A smirk comes to her face as she exits the ring.

Match 1: SAKURA [4] defeated SAIKO [9] GP was finally reaching its end, the competitors with a chance to win their blocks fighting desperately to not slip up. Due to that, SAKURA felt the wrath of the Mob Psycho only to score the win with a small package roll-up after 9 minutes of action.
Match 2: JUNKO [11] defeated Yukiko Kusanagi [8] In the second match of the night, JET World Champion JUNKO squared off against the struggling Yukiko Kusanagi. JUNKO was coming off a huge win against Momoko Honda and push herself up to 13 points. Meanwhile, Yukiko Kusanagi was looking to end a horrible string of losses. The Demolition Angel’s bad luck continued as she fell to a Dark Impulse by the JET World Champion. JUNKO moves up to 13 points while Yukiko’s descent continues.
Match 3: Machiko Hasegawa [8] defeated Diantha Rosso [12] Power vs. Speed. The already eliminated Machiko Hasegawa took on Diantha Rosso, the best thing that Machiko could do was score the win and help her faction leader’s chances of winning this tournament. Machiko did score the win tonight but she had the help of Yuna Miyamoto to defeat Diantha followed by a Hasegawa-Bomb. Diantha loses her third straight match, the chances of Rosso winning her block are looking bleaker.
Match 4: Momoko Honda [10] defeated Hannah Rockford [12] Last year, Hannah Rockford was the reason that Momoko Honda didn’t win the RISEGP B Block, and this year it could have happened again. Both Hannah and Momoko know each other well in the ring to have prepared themselves for this match. Both had counters for everything the other threw but in the end, after 21 minutes of action. It was the Star Warrior keeping her GP chances alive with a Galactic Overdrive.
Main Event: HULK [8] defeated Mei Namikaze [10] Out of every match, this was the main event of Night 19. Mei Namikaze needed to win to keep her chances alive. A draw or loss would mean elimination, while HULK was looking to simply end GP on a series of high notes. Mei spent a good portion of this match ripping apart HULK’s right arm, weakening the impact of HULK’s lariats. But The Power Lifter fought on and never gave up at any point during this contest. The end result was HULK scoring the win with a HULK Splash. Mei Namikaze has been mathematically eliminated from RISE GP 2021.
Post-Match: HULK was the one closing the show and this gave the former STRONG Champion a chance to look back at GP2021 and how tough things have been since losing her title. She had one more match remaining and declared that she would defeat JUNKO to end her tournament on a high note.
DAY 20 SEPTEMBER 18 KOBE WORLD MEMORIAL HALL IN KOBE, HYOGO, JAPAN
Undercard: - YOKAI defeated Akari - Arielle Ramsay defeated Julia Zhang
Main Card:
Match 1 NAMI [8] defeated Hinata Tatsuo [8] With both competitors already eliminated from GP, this was all about ending the tournament on a high note. It was Hinata’s technical prowess against NAMI’s efficient strikes, in the end, it was NAMI’s experience that won out in this contest. The finish saw NAMI move on to ten points with a Plastic Surgery.
Match 2: Sara Ashiya [6] defeated Seijun Kanemoto [10] In the second match of Night 20, the already eliminated Sara Ashiya shocked everyone as she defeated Seijun Kanemoto. The Academy Champion acted as if she had the match won even before it began and that cost her in the end. The finish was Sara countering Seijun’s Love & Death into a schoolgirl roll-up that was able to The Celestial Valkyrie down for the three count. Seijun Kanemoto has been mathematically eliminated from RISE GP.
Match 3: Makiya Kusanagi [2] defeated MizukI Nakata [12] The upset of the night, possibly the upset of the tournament as Makiya Kusanagi beat Mizuki Nakata. It wasn’t by a finisher of course but a win for Makiya nonetheless. The bout only went for ten minutes as Makiya countered the Canis Majoris into a small package for the win.
Match 4: Q [10] defeated Midori Miyamoto [12] With just one more round after this one, if Q lost here it would have been the end of her chances to win. Q wasn’t gonna lose and made sure of it as she had help from DESPERADOS tag partner Julia Zhang. With the help of Zhang, Q was able to steal a win from Midori Miyamoto as she connected with a BRUTAL Q’s Landing for the win.
Match 5: BIANCA [10] defeated Masumi Tsutsumi [8] With Mizuki and Midori suffering major losses, BIANCA had a chance to catch up with a win. She faced off against the already eliminated Masumi Tsutsumi who was relentless during this match. But in the end, the OWA Odyssey Star was able to move up to 12 points with a series of Decapitation Lariats followed by a Kaiju Battle Bomb.
Main Event: Ai Moe [10] defeated Natsu Toyama [12] Mizuki Nakata and Midori Miyamoto will need to thank Ai Moe as if Natsu Toyama won, she would have eliminated both of them. This match nearly went the distance and for 28 minutes, it was intense action as both competitors needed to win this match for different reasons. In the end, Ai Moe stood tall as she defeated Natsu with not just one but two Love Is A Battlefield. The Top Kawaii Machine is up to 12 points and now creates a six-person tie going into Night 22.

DAY 21 SEPTEMBER 23, 2021 EDION ARENA OSAKA IN OSAKA, JAPAN
Undercard: - Spring TORA defeated Saya Okita
Main Card:
- Machiko Hasegawa got two free points due to the firing of Jei Satasuka.
Match 1: Mei Namikaze [10] defeated SAKURA [6] With all of the important matches involving the block pushed to the top of the card, we opened with a fast-paced, high-speed match between Mei and SAKURA. With the hope to end their tournament on a high note, it was Mei who secured the win with a Kamme no Kata and ends her GP with a win and finishes with 12 minutes.
Match 2: Yukiko Kusanagi [8] defeated Hannah Rockford [12] To the surprise of everyone, Hannah Rockford’s loss to Momoko Honda meant that the National Champion would be eliminated from the tournament. With that fact being known, Hannah faced off against the struggling Yukiko Kusanagi. To the shock of everyone, the JET National Champion would suffer a loss to Kusanagi as the Demolition Angel finally broke her losing streak with a Bosuki Driver.
Match 3: SAIKO [9] defeated Diantha Rosso [12] In a must-win situation for Diantha, she faced JET Tag Champion SAIKO. Unfortunately similar to her last match against Machiko Hasegawa, Diantha ran into interferences from DESPERADOS and that helped SAIKO pick up the win. The Mob Psycho secured the win with a Dagger of Onryo and with that loss, Diantha Rosso has been mathematically eliminated from RISEGP2021.
Match 4: HULK [10] defeated JUNKO [13] Similar to Diantha Rosso, JUNKO was in a must-win situation against HULK. DESPERADOS also tried to interfere in this bout but HULK was able to fight off Yuna Miyamoto and Julia Zhang! The JET World Champion did everything in her power to put down HULK but the former STRONG Champion’s Fighting Spirit carried her to victory. It also helped that HULK had the hometown support and that support must have helped HULK as she scored a HUGE win against JUNKO with a HULK Splash after the JET World Champion kicked out of the Farwell Osaka. JUNKO has been mathematically eliminated from RISEGP2021
Main Event: Momoko Honda [12] defeated Sora Todoh [14] With both Diantha and JUNKO eliminated, this match effectively became the finals of A Block. Momoko Honda needed a win, meanwhile, Sora could still win the whole block with a time-limit draw. This played into the match as Momoko tried to end the match as quickly as possible but Sora wouldn’t go down. At the same time, Sora wanted to win. The match nearly went the full 30-minute length with both competitors kicking out of the other’s primary finisher, Sora’s Shin-Ryu Suplex and Momoko’s Happy Landing. Near the end of the match, exhaustion was kicking in for both competitors and both Sora and Momoko threw everything at one another but in the end, it wasn’t a second Happy Landing followed by a Galactic Overdrive.
Momoko Honda wins A Block and moves on to the RISEGP2021 Finals in Osaka-Jo Hall.
DAY 22 SEPTEMBER 22, 2021 EDION ARENA OSAKA IN OSAKA, JAPAN
Undercard: - DESPERADOS (Machiko Hasegawa and Yuna Miyamoto) defeated YOKAI and Misaki Suzuki
Main Card:
Match 1: Hinata Tatsuo [8] defeated Sara Ashiya [8] Similar to Night 21, the matches with GP Finals implications were pushed to the top of the card. Both Hinata and Sara were looking to end their first GP with double-digit points and gave the Osaka crowd an incredible opener. In the end, it was the NEON Dragon that scored the win with a NEON Dragon Driver to end her GP at ten points.
Match 2: Seijun Kanemoto [10] defeated Makiya Kusanagi [4] With this being Makiya’s last match in JET, she was hoping to end her tenure with a win. Her last opponent was JET Academy Champion Seijun Kanemoto. Unfortunately for Makiya, her opponent didn’t care about this being her last match. After 12-minutes of in-ring action, Seijun scored the win with a Love & Death.
Match 3: Masumi Tsutsumi [8] defeated Q [12] If Q had won this match, her chances of making the finals would have shot up immensely but instead, her cockiness cost her match as Masumi Tsutsumi was able to bring the match back. When DESPERADOS tried to interfere like last night, Tsutsumi had back up in the form of her tag partner Mei Namikaze. That helped even the odds and Tsutsumi soon picked up the win with a Sunset Densetsu, eliminating the JET STRONG Champion.
Match 4: NAMI w/Onii Ushi [10] defeated Natsu Toyama [12] With Q being eliminated, this opened up the possibility for everyone else in B Block to end up winning this block especially Natsu but she needed to defeat NAMI if that chance was gonna come her way. NAMI was all down to play spoilers and with the help of Onii Ushi, she was able to do just that as she scored the win with a roll-up following a distraction from her bodyguard. NAMI moved up to 12 points and eliminated Natsu at the same time.
Match 5: Midori Miyamoto [12] and Mizuki Nakata [12] fought to a 30-minute time limit draw. Generational rivals clashed in a rematch of the 2021 RISE GP. If either won, it would be over for BIANCA and Ai Moe but instead, this match ended in a draw. Thirty minutes wasn’t enough for Midori and Mizuki to put the other down. The Ace and Hybrid Dragon knew whatever the other had in store and what they had in mind. The Osaka crowd was treated to an amazing bout by two of JET’s best. Both Midori and Mizuki threw everything at one another, Nakata connected with some of the most brutal Exploder Suplexes and Midori fired a barraged of strikes. Unfortunately, neither could connect with one of their finishers and when Mizuki did connect a Ganymede, the bell run and time expired. Mizuki and Midori both collect 13 points and somehow need another time limit draw from Ai and BIANCA to force a playoff.
Main Event: Ai Moe [12] defeated BIANCA [12] The winner of this match would be B Block winner and if both drew, Midori and Mizuki would be put into another singles match as a playoff match.
Ai Moe had to fight an uphill battle right from the start, BIANCA was far stronger and bigger than her and this played into the bout. Ai Moe had to fight off some of BIANCA’s most brutal shots. BIANCA’s lariats in particular had an extra bit of malice in them but regardless of that, Ai Moe fought back with incredible heart. Similar to the Sora/Momoko match from Night 21, this went down to the wire. Nearly 25 minutes, the finish of the match saw Ai Moe counter the Kaiju Battle Bomb into a Sunset Flip Powerbomb followed by two repeated Love Is A Battlefield for the win! Ai Moe pulled off the miracle. From 0-3 to GP Finalist, she will now meet Momoko Honda at Osaka-Jo Hall.
